Thrusters stabilized. “Increase Ki output to 25%” Ki output increased. Speed has increased to Mach 1,503 achieved, 1,111,845 MPH. “Increase Ki output, 50%” Creed had long since broken the sound barrier. If not for the interior lining of his suit, he would be passed out or even dead from the pressure being exerted upon his body. Against the better wishes of Rine, Creed tended to test out his experimental updates first hand, the new Thrusters being no exception. After his fight with Legume, he had learnt of the capabilities of his suit. Namely that it was pitiful in speed. Now, to a mortal man he’d move at incredible speeds. But he was no longer dealing with mortals. Creed had finally tussled with a god and was struck down in mere minutes. It hurt his pride even more to know it had been on his own turf. “Andrew, I think you should stop. I mean you’re going as fast as a Spacecraft and I doubt you’ll find someone like that asshat again. Besides, your ribs still aren’t fully healed ye-” Warning. Thrusters destabilizing. Preparing emergency landing procedures. Searching… Searching… Found! The emergency protocols attempted to aim the pilot into the highest elevated area with the softest landing grounds. Usually it would be a sand dune or water. Not a random castle in the middle of nowhere. Given that the trees were fairly brittle and sparse, it did make the most logical sense to land on a pre built structure, as it’s rubble would fold in and soften the landing. That didn’t mean he wished to destroy someone’s property. Perhaps he should ask Kaijin to work on giving the suit’s AI a bit more of a human approach to it’s logic. Creed would pull up just in time to avoid the brunt of the castle. Instead he would simply skid off the side, leaving an ugly gash in the dull castles stonework. Blissful, almost eerie silence hung over the castle grounds. At a quick glance, one could rightfully assume the ancient rubble had gone abandoned and forgotten for years. However, something wicked lurked inside... What once had been a beautiful ballroom had been repurposed into a shelter of sorts. Strange reagents had been arranged on a desk along with papers filled with mystical symbols. A small shadow was slumped against the desk, shifting slightly with soft breaths. Long, mauve hair framed deathly pale features of a frail girl. Dressed in dark robes and clutching a strange wand, she was the very image of a witch.
A horrifying screech of metal meeting stone shattered the dream. The following hefty thud shook Lilith awake from her slumber. Wiping the traces of sleep from her eyes, she glanced towards the window. Sunlight peeked through. She had merely rested her eyes during her midnight research session, but then... What time was it? Tch, no matter... Judging by the sound, she had an uninvited guest. Again. Lovely.
With a wave of hand, the little lady called her broom and snatched her hat. Hopping on, she flew outside to investigate. Her crimson stare scanned the gash on the castle wall. Something had tried to breach through, but the old stone proved sturdy enough to repel the assault. She followed the trail to a small crater, finding the culprit still loitering. Some sort of metal man had crashed right into her mushroom garden. If this was an attempt on her life, she wasn’t particularly impressed.
Floating over the downed metal figure, the young witch regarded it with cold disdain. Technology had no place in an universe ruled by magic and ki. Her voice chimed over the quiet courtyard. "And what, pray tell, are you supposed to be? Some sort of walking battering ram?" She wasn’t expecting much to be honest. “Run a suit diagnostic check” 95% Stable. One Malfunction, lower thrusters. Chance of repair: 35% “There goes the prototype… Run a user diagnostic” No major injuries detected. Several minor contusions. Creed would levitate himself from the crater and look around. The Ki field generator seemed to work just fine still. Hopefully Rine could get to him quick enough to- What was this? As Creed rose from his impact site, a young and strangely dressed girl had appeared at the crater’s edge. She would… call him a Battering Ram? Why that little… She was humanoid in appearance, Saiyan or Human to be exact. The lack of more primal ape-like characteristics and strange Pink hair led him to think human. Sensors would estimate a power level of around 28,000. So she really was just an angsty little child with a loud mouth. Creed would turn to the Castle which he had almost crashed into. The scrape didn’t seem anything more than superficial tear. Creed would flick a mushroom from his shoulder before turning his Emerald gaze to the girl. “You should learn to respect your elders, girl” Creed would raise two fingers to the castle and fire a beam into the scrape he had made, blowing a hole all the way through into its interior. That should be sufficient punishment for her disrespectful attitude. After all, he just saved her castle from being utterly destroyed by his landing, she should be thankful. “Let that serve as a warning. Return to your stone trash heap and leave me be” Creed would turn his back to her and begin typing on his wrist, attempting to figure out the reason why the thrusters had failed. Annoyance tugged at Lilith’s eye with tiny twitches. No apology, no explanation, not even a name she could have reprimanded. All she got from the pile of scrap was attitude. How... very... typical. Still, the mannerisms suggested the walking... well, hovering armor was more than just a mindless machine. She shook her head at his laughable demand. "Age is a fool’s measure. Respect is reserved for those who have earned it." And she had none for anyone who relied on technology. Seeing the fool blast a hole into already broken castle left the young lady staring and speechless. Twitch twitch... Gritting her sharp teeth together, she turned her glare onto the arrogant fool. Her honored family home? A trash heap?! No, she shouldn’t get angry... When instead she could get sadistic. "Your warning is as empty as your future..." Despite the insulting attack just now, she couldn’t sense a thing. There were traces of magic, obviously, but no sensation of raw ki either. Hmph, clearly this toy was too weak to even be worth her time. So of course she wasn’t going to sully her hands. She had servants for that.
While the metal man dared to shift his focus, the little witch uttered an ominous incantation. "From Hell’s heart I summon thee..." Beneath her an infernal symbol formed of flames hanging in the air. "Come forth, herald of death, Banshee." With a sudden flare, another frail and feminine figure appeared. Her long hair was as deathly pale as her skin. White mist clung to her like an ethereal dress. She sobbed softly, covering her face with sickly thin fingers. "Get rid of him." Upon hearing the cold command, the ghoulish woman sniffled. Glowing eyes without pupils focused on the armored man. Suddenly she let out a bloody scream. The very air distorted as the foul sound wave surged towards the foe. It resonated through the metal, tearing at whatever was hiding beneath. Creed ignored the girl as she spoke some sort of mumbo jumbo about hell. It would appear that the exterior nozzle for Ki deployment had been much too thinned at the pressure point. The design wouldn’t be too difficult to replicate, all he’d need to do is enlarge the pressure point slightly and- Initializing noise dampeners Creed held the side of his head slightly as something emitted a horrendous screech. His noise dampeners didn’t set in quick enough to stop the sound fully. It was painful to say the least, but ended about as quickly as it began. Creed would turn over to the Girl and the strange frail figure floating next to her. His mask gave him a constant glare, fitting for how he felt in this moment. Creed would begin targeting the floating figure and the girl equally. “If I must earn your respect, so be it. May your broken body will serve as a constant reminder”
Suddenly, two beams of emerald energy would burst from Creed’s eyes. Another beam would emerge from his now raised right hand. All three of the beams were aimed for the girl. It was time to show her who she was messing with. Two dart shaped items would launch from beneath his cloak towards the frail figure. He would deal with that thing last, for now it could sit there and be electrocuted. Creed would slowly begin walking towards the girl with his fists clenched. Lilith quirked a curious brow when, against her expectations, the foe didn’t fall over and die. No, the uppity armor had the sheer audacity to glare at her. The nerve! Before she could give him a scathing rebuttal, the glare turned into an attack. Caught completely off-guard, she reflexively swept her hand in front of her. Like a marionette dangling from strings, the spirit was dragged in the way of the beams. Yet they all pierced through, losing barely any strength while the banshee vanished with a screech. Each beam struck the witch effortlessly, tearing holes into her robes. She was sent reeling and nearly fell off her broom.
After recovering from the hits, the little lady clicked her tongue. "Tch... If you want something done right..." She could feel the pain searing her skin, but refused to show it. One of the beams had hit a particularly painful spot and left her feeling sluggish. To compensate, she needed to be a step ahead... Reaching into her roomy sleeve, she pulled out a small crystal ball. Inside it, mystical smoke swirled in a dizzying spiral. Gazing deep into the orb, she focused. "I see a dark future for you..." She scoffed at what she saw. How predictable. "Mouthy cur, I know your next moves before you do. You might as well give up now." At least her confidence had remained unscathed...
The witch flicked her wand towards the armored man and uttered an incantation. "I call forth the wrath of winter..." On the tip of her wand glittered a small snowflake. The temperature suddenly dropped. "Frost Hex." A blue bolt shot forward, aimed directly at the man’s chest. It carried a deathly chill, leaving a layer of ice on anything it touched. While the foe dealt with the first attack, she pressed the assault. Raising the crystal ball towards the man, she cast yet another spell. "Soul Siphon." A faintly flickering vortex formed in the air, seeking to drain the foe's energy into the orb. If the man got caught in it, he might feel his very soul slowly burning away. Whatever the girl had fired at him the had struck his right shoulder. As it started freezing over, he would smack the spot, shattering the ice before it managed to pierce the armor. What a strange power. The second attack would simply be swatted aside, only for the third to strike the center of his chest, drawing a faint emerald energy from the energy core. Ki Reserves reduced by 5%. Optimising to make up for loss. Very interesting. If it wasn’t for the fact that he wanted to destroy the girl, he might of asked how she managed to do all this. It didn’t seem to be Ki manipulation and the girl didn’t seem nearly privy enough on technology to perform such feats. Creed would tap on his arm console whilst continuing forward. He had closed the gap fairly quickly, now it was time to make her regret her transgressions. Creed would fire another volley of beams from his eyes in an attempt to distract the girl. Whether or not it succeeded, he would finish his attack with two punches, one to the face and another to the stomach. “It’s a shame you were so quick to attack, girl. Much to the caster’s dismay, the troublesome machine took her spells in stride. Almost like... she wasn’t even scratching it... She shook her head and gathered her focus. "Witch Step." Her body blurred, moving to the side at unnatural speed. While she managed to dodge the beams, she ran right into the follow-up attacks. The strikes were heavy. Breath escaped from her lungs with a bloody gasp. She fell from her broom and hit the ground with a painful thud. Insult to injury. Sprawled on the cold stone, she groaned weakly. "I knew you’d do that...!" Though she nearly blacked out on impact, she still refused to admit defeat. Lucky shots. That’s all they were and nothing more.
Lilith pointed a finger at the man and drew a small motion in the air. "Creeping Dark." Suddenly the shadow inside his hood came to life. Like pitch black tendril it tried to wrap around his head and block his senses. And the witch wasn’t done cursing him... "Suffer the pains of conquest, famine and pestilence as your body withers away..." As she chanted, arcane glow engulfed her fingers one by one. Yellow, blue and violet. "Black Death." On the command, the air around the man erupted into a foul, venomously green cloud. The curse was toxic and corrosive enough to set off any kind of scanner. Trying to capitalize on the distractions, she clutched her crystal ball. "Soul Siphon." Again the vortex formed beneath the foe, trying to drag him down. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Hostile Anomaly detect, preparing Purge Protocol. The entirety of Creed’s armor would burst with a bright green light. That should deal with the strange tendrils which the girl had… Created? Summoned? At this point he didn’t know how her powers worked. Nor did he really care. Creed would hover above the vortex, ignoring the corrosive gas completely. This suit was designed to sustain itself on the surface of Tech Tech, a planet with one of the most toxic atmospheres in the galaxy. Of course he’d be prepared for this corrosive substance. He would cross his arms and look at the girl, rising above the green cloud. “You are tenacious. I can respect that. Those punches looked like they hurt, perhaps admitting defeat would be the best course of action” Various eye beams would burst towards the girl in a rapid volley. If she managed to escape from this attack unscatche, it would be most impressive indeed. At this point he believed the battle over. He didn’t wasn’t trying to kill the girl, just teach her a lesson. Though if she did happen to die, there would be no complaints. She made her bed and now she must sleep in it. Besides, the best lessons were taught near death. Lilith could feel her frustration boiling. No matter what she tried, the foe just shrugged it off. Even the shadow curse had been effortlessly purged. Damnable machine... How did it keep resisting?! But most of all she was annoyed by the attitude. Surrender? Unthinkable! Eyes narrowing, she gasped a shallow breath for a hasty incantation. "Tch... Through talent may all boundaries-" Too late. Whatever she was casting got brutally interrupted. The volley of beams pierced her mercilessly. By the end of the barrage, she was left lifeless in a puddle of blood. At last the wicked witch had fallen...
"Or perhaps you should open your eyes instead of your mouth for a change."
Against all expectations, the chiding voice came from behind the armored man. There was the witch, sitting on her broom as if nothing had ever happened. Down on the ground, the spot where she had been killed was now empty. Not even the bloodstain remained. She cocked her head with a smug, little smile. "Did you enjoy your little illusion of victory?" Like any magician or mystic, she had no intention of revealing how she had done that. Instead, she lifted a finger at the foe and repeated a quick spell. "Creeping Dark." Again the shadow beneath the man’s hood got all uppity. It tried to encase his head in a cocoon of inky blackness.
Taking a deep breath, the young noble calmly recited the same chant that had so rudely been interrupted before. "Through knowledge may all boundaries be broken..." Arcane runes appeared around her, gathering into words in a language long dead and forgotten. "Magic Mimicry: Rejuvenation." With a green glow her wounds rapidly closed. Only the holes remained as proof that she had even been wounded. However, much of it was bravado. Healing magic had never been her strong point, but this would have to do. Creed tilted his head slightly as the girl crumpled onto the bloody ground. Was that it? Maybe he had overestimated the girl’s powers, or perhaps her tricks had finally run out. He would give a shrug before turning to see the fairly unharmed Lilith sitting on that floating broom. A slight grin would grow across his masked face. “Heh. Good one, girl. I was a bit disappointed when I saw you fall down dead so unceremoniously. I would have expected some sort of light show at the very least” Creed would grasp the ever creeping tendrils, ripping one off and allowing it to fade away. He would cross his arms as the Witch closed her wounds with some sort of strange incantation. Most likely some sort of Senzu Bean based spray. She certainly liked her childish games. “Hm. Good. Now I’ll get to beat you to near death twice” Creed would tap his foot on the ground before bursting forward at breakneck speeds. He would attempt to grab the broom from underneath the girl in an attempt to throw her to the ground. Two emerald eye beams would follow suit, hopefully ending this battle for good. Sensors said her power levels were wavering slightly. It made sense, no medicine on the market had the ability to heal so effectively and it certainly wasn’t “magic”. Maybe after beating her he could look around that castle for anything about the powers she wielded or whatever technology she had used to simulate it. Eyes widening a the burst of speed, the young witch tried to dodge backwards. In her glimpse of the future, she had never seen him move this fast. That was the problem with divination... Future was fickle. And now the witch paid dearly for it. She didn’t even have time to utter an incantation when the armored man caught her. Her broom snapped like a twig beneath the machine’s enhanced might and she plummeted all the way down. The soft thud was accompanied by a painful crack. Something broken against the cruel stone. In comparison to the devastating throw, the beams were cold. Clinical. Precision insults to injury.
By the end of the brutal combination, history repeated itself. Lilith’s eyes had fallen shut, petite chest moving with shallow breaths. Her once refined robes were now torn, tattered, burned and stained. Blood pooled beneath her, seeping from the piercing wounds. Only this time the injuries were all too real. There were no more haughty remarks or empty boasts. Just silence. The ruined castle was now utterly defenseless, free to be searched and plundered for its secrets. Likewise, the witch herself was completely on the foe’s mercy, lost in her dreamless sleep.

Slowly, Creed would lower himself to the young girl, now utterly defeated. At least he presumed so, there was no snide remark from behind. Creed would walk over to her and press a boot on her right arm. He would lean down, letting a decent bit of weight come down onto her arm. “Have I earned your respect, girl?” Creed would stand and point two fingers towards her arm. “I hope you remember this for quite a while. Everytime you look down at that bloody stump, you’ll-” Suddenly, a blue flash would impact against his head, causing him to fly to the side and well away from the girl. Standing over him would be Rine with a small ship behind behind her. The short tempered woman would look down at Creed and knock on his head, her red eyes satisfied with the well placed strike. “You already proved your point. Stop acting like a child and lets go” Creed would rub the side of his head slightly as he stood. Maybe it wasn’t a good idea to tell her where the weak point of his armor was. “You could of just asked, you know” “Really? Cause last time I tried doing that, you muted me” “And I learned never to do that again” Creed would hop onto the craft and remove the mask from the remainder of the helmet.
