NAME. Sir Nickel Gallius

MOTIVATIONS. To save the innocent and to destroy those he perceives as corrupt.
QUIRKS. Like many of his species, Sir Gallius is stone faced and unemotional to an outside observer. Ferrous people tend to internalize their emotions, as being emotional can be distracting during political intrigue or battle. Due to this, he has difficulties with empathy and struggles when dealing with more emotion driven species.
BONDS. Gallius gave up all familial bonds when joining the Order of the Forged. His true family had been his fellow Forged who he believed to be his brethren. But now that the Order is destroyed, he simply wanders the Galaxy in search of evil to purge.
BACKSTORY. The world of Ferrous is home to a Feudalistic society of human-like creatures, known as the Ferranites. Like many species of the galaxy, the Ferranites can tap into the strange and almost mystical powers of Ki. Though every Ferranite can tap into their Ki, only a select chosen can manifest these powers in any meaningful way. Those who show this aptitude are known as the “Forged”, as they are perceived as being “Forged by Manus, God of all”. These Forged make up the upper echelon of society and can be chosen from any social caste (Beggar to Noble) so long as they show natural Ki talent. Gallius, born a noble and discovered at seven, was one of the few remaining Forged before the Order, along with much of the planet’s population, died in a catastrophic disaster known as “The Rage of Manus”. Scholars theorized that Manus was angered at the lack of loyal worship and thus bathed the surface in a flood of magma. Gallius with three other Knights attempted to calm the masses of panicking civilians when they were met with a blinding flash of light. Gallius awoke to a sterilized research center. He concluded that he was handpicked by Manus to survive the disaster and in gratitude should spread his cleansing light to the rest of the Galaxy. He managed to catch one last glimpse of his homeworld, bathed in molten metal and rock, before escaping with his Knightly attire.
CALL TO ACTION. Gallius wishes to purify the Galaxy as thanks to Manus, ensuring that no other civilization would fall victim to corruption and thus the wrath of Manus.
