PEACE PLAZA, AbbayorAfter her speech broadcast to the entire galaxy, things had fallen quiet for the Queen of Saiyans. Her fleets had returned home, and she remained on Abbayor with a handful of bodyguards and assistants. Supreme Commander Onyon had been concerned before leaving, stating that she was mad to put her neck out like this. She felt like it. Like a hypocrite. Like a crazy person. But, she also couldn't shake Master Shin's words and his concern. She never expected him to visit her. After she had left her training early to pursue her goal, she had thought herself dead to the Supreme Kai. But, he had risked quite a bit to come give her a warning, to come wake her up to the truth. She was conflicted. Caught between doing the right thing and doing the hard thing. Actually, the more she thought about it--this seemed even harder than defeating the Empire. Fighting was the easy way for Saiyans like her, she excelled at fighting. But, talking it out, that was new territory. Trying to maneuver around around a political table wasn't simple. One wrong statement, one harsh whisper, and things could erupt into violence again. Actually, that was somewhat of a relief to her. Violence at least was something she was good at. Still, she would give this her best effort. If only to try and put the Empire to shame for their blood-thirst. They sought war, under the guise of being the great heroes and protectors of galactic peace. Well, if Polaris sat at the table today and didn't agree whole-heartily to the peace she offered, he was proving to being the maniacal tyrant people suspected him to be. The event was being hosted outside, in the middle of broad daylight. All words spoken would be done into the open air. The media was gathered around, at the fringes of the plaza. Camera-bots were rolling, zipping back and forth overhead. Faces were to be seen, and intentions made clear as crystal. If anyone pulled anything, it would be broadcast to the entire galaxy. She had a large ring-shaped table set up in the center of the plaza, far-away from the shadow of Polaris's gleaming statue. She was alone in her seat, hands folded in front of her as she waited for the others to arrive. Reaching to a pitcher of water, she poured herself a cup and sipped. Why was she so damn nervous? She had never felt like this. From the flanks, behind one of the statues she saw the silhouette of Colla. Onyon's daughter had seemed eager to stay and protect her queen, and also get a sight of Emperor Carambolis. No doubt she hoped to speak with him again after all was said and done and the meeting had concluded. She hoped that the alliance Colla and her father had helped secure with the Kabochan Confederacy would pay off on this day. They had been the first olive branch the former Dominion and now re-branded Saiyan Kingdom had offered. It had been a fruitful relationship thus far, one she was rather proud of. Earth's presence was a bit of a wild card. She heard rumor that they were sending a new representative. Someone named Xell. Apparently, King Ches had stepped down from his throne, right before the Accords. That was a bit strange, but she tried not to think into it much. The Earthlings were typically neutral and peace-loving, having only ever retaliated after being attacked, rather than trying to instigate more wars. They would hopefully support peace. The independent worlds also had peace in their best interest. Being that most of them were isolated and without the support of larger military forces. Many had been subjected to the endless wars of the Frieza Force. No doubt hearing about peace would help to make them feel more secure and promote galactic commerce, rather than protective isolationism.

Their were worse hands the Kabochan Confederacy could have been dealt. Earth had tentatively sworn themselves as an ally to Emperor Carambolis much the way the Saiyan Dominion had. Independent systems varied on their opinions, some likely looked at the Confederacy as expansionists but those who didn't thought of them as a faction worth trading with in exchange for some modicum of stability and protection. While the Galactic Empire secured peace on the core worlds, the Kabochan Confederacy secured peace and trade on as many fringe galactic worlds as it could. Diplomacy was used when it could be and force was used when diplomacy failed. Even so, no one could accuse him of acting as the Frieza force had. Worlds weren't stripped of all life, villages weren't burnt to the ground, at least not without warning or effort on the Confederacy's part to try and resolve conflict without burning buildings down. "Scramble them all, the entire fleet." Cam ordered over his scouter from his room, there was a hesitation as if the words were heavier and took time to sink in, Coca finally replied, "The message has been sent. They gather at your command." Even his prime Lieutenant had doubts now, just what was Carambolis planning? An alliance with the Dominion showed force and strength to many in the galaxy for those who respected force and might. An alliance with the Earth and its kingdoms showed that the Emperor was aligned with good-will and and the symbol of freedom and democracy throughout the universe. Even his relationship with the Galactic Empire was... Strained perhaps, but they weren't in open war with each other. Yet no matter how hard he breathed Cam still felt like he was holding his breath. He of course was preparing in every way possible once the news broke: a fleet of fifty Ironhide war cruisers and almost double that in corvettes, outrunners appeared in the window of his private room. The fleet formation was massive, pulling into orbit not far from Abbayor--A show of force could be intimidating and if nothing else it would show his allies that he had brought enough security and might to make sure that any military moves were met in kind and peace would be maintained, at least long enough to talk. Then the second wave came. And the third. On and on it went, fleet after fleet of war ships began to amass, a moon's distance away from the war-torn planet. Thousands of ships of every make and model, every species and robot, every creed and ethnicity. "Coca, have everyone equipped in the finest attire. Have Duria put on something civil, scramble my elites and Absolut. Ready four gunships, have Scald, Sudae and Leatha get their platoons ready. Every soldier in their best with their best." Cam ordered with finality, "I'm going to slip into something more presentable. I'll meet you on the bridge when I'm done." Coca gave an affirmation before the Emperor took a breath, he knew he could survive without oxygen for a long time but that didn't mean that anxiety couldn't manufacture a tightness in his chest that was hard to get rid of. He took the next ten minutes to center himself, performing stretches and exercise his species had invented akin to yoga or pilates, a playlist of his music playing over the speakers in his room, his ship's computer more than capable of cataloging all of Cam's favored music. Meanwhile the largest ship in the fleet arrived, an Ikondan Super destroyer that Cam had managed to take from their home world, it was the size of a moon and outfitted with anti-matter guns all over its surface. Those below and above likely could recognize an invasion fleet--they had all seen it, but this wasn't that. This was an obliteration fleet. The kind that turned an entire planet to glass without so much as a thought then departed. An order Cam wasn't above giving if it was required. He had donned a brilliant, flowing red cape, gold filigree stitched into the fabric that added panache and style to the whole look. Beneath it a stark kohl black body suit, it fulfilled many survival functions and also acted as a non-Newtonian fluid armor, however their were ports on the armor for even further modifications. Ones Carambolis was all too happy to add, ornately painted plates that were far too thick to be strictly for decor were attached over his calves, thighs, chest, shoulders, and demi-gauntlets, all equally black and trimmed with gold designs. Finally a purple lensed visor scouter was fitted over Cam's amber eyes, his hair pulled back and pinned with two golden ornate hair pins. Red jewels hanging from the ends that matched the amulet that constantly hung around Cam's neck. Meanwhile Coca prepared the crew. She had been dressed in a crisp white uniform with golden epaulets and filigree on the fabric, an officer's hat to match. Forgoing her glasses and fitting a teal visor scouter over her eyes. This suit was likewise outfitted with armor plating beneath the fabric that cupped the musculature of those who wore it, not only did it function as armor, it functioned to disguise that it was armor. Duria was given a uniform much the same Coca's, as were all the soldiers that were called to act as an honor guard. Their were differences of course, these grunts had only gold trim, no filigree to speak of and their armor plating was not disguised beneath the fabric. Each soldier was outfitted with a side-arm and anti-material rifle, Absolut would be given an equivalent to wear suited for his race, Sudae being a robot was simply given a fresh paint-job. Each of them was given a visor scouter, their uniforms and weapons and whatever else they decided to take with them. When it was all said and done, three platoons stood at the ready, along with six elite soldiers acting as the Emperor's honor guard, sixty two men, women, and others in total. Assembled on the bridge and ready to go. "I don't think I have to tell any of you the stakes involved. We're about to end a war, either through peace or through the largest, most final conflict this galaxy has ever seen. Know you are not alone. The entire Armada has been called." Several soldiers gasped at the thought. Thousands upon thousands of armed war ships coming for one planet? "We will be using a light bridge to reach the surface of the planet. I've dispatched gunships to be waiting for us if something goes wrong. All of you are expected to be on the utmost best of behaviors. This is a peace conference, I'll not have it sullied with raunchy or brash actions. Get me?" "Yes sir!" The soldiers shouted in unison before Cam went on, "Once on the ground establish a secure perimeter then await further orders from Coca or myself. Prepare for bridging in five." Cam ordered, the soldiers dismissed went about their tasks to prepare for the final drop. Shifting to face his elite soldiers and Absolut, Cam would pause a moment to think before he spoke, "Absolut, if this is too much, you're free to stay behind. Your father will be here and chances are it could get violent. Are you prepared to see that?" the Emperor asked, "And if he does get violent... There's a chance we're all going to kill him. Or him kill us I suppose, you never know. My point is, this isn't going to be easy. I want you to be prepared to speak up, especially if someone addresses you. Be honest." The Emperor advised, "No matter what the truth is, be honest. We can end this, finally. Perhaps you'll get to go home if this works out. Don't step on that platform until you're ready though." The adolescent had always carried such a heavy weight on his shoulders, even this seemed like a lot though. Only a true trial by fire would tell if Absolut was ready or not. Behind them a dull roar began to grow, like a train in the distance steadily approaching. A cannon looking device was aimed from the front of the ship right for the peace plaza. A brilliant opalescent pink beam was fired off, to those below it might look like an attack though when the beam hit it did... Nothing. The light might fry some of the grass beneath the point of impact but no true damage was done. Soldiers stepped onto a platform on the bridge, one after another, being spirited down the one-way bridge and piling out into ranks, doing as they were ordered and forming a perimeter around the plaza to ensure security. The Emperor and his entourage were right behind them descending like angels from the sky aboard a giant beam of light. Emperor Carambolis, first of his name stepped forward with his retinue of elite soldiers, the beam held open long enough for Absolut to make his choice and follow or stay behind. He raised a palm, waving to the crowd as the beam dissipated behind him, putting on that prize-winning smile, "Hello Abbayor! Today is a good day for peace!" using his psychic powers to thaumaturge his words across the crowds, if not the entire planet. Stepping forward, his cape fluttered behind him in a manufactured gust of wind, generated by Cam's own psychic powers meant to make him look all the more heroic and windswept, a truly beautiful hero here to at least attempt to save the day. His amber eyes landed directly on Radia, Cam's stride carrying him straight towards the Saiyan Queen. Once he was within a few feet, he would incline his head respectfully, "Queen Radia. We finally meet." The Kabochan Emperor stated with some glee in his tone, "Let me say it is a distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance. Albeit these were not the circumstances I had imagined," the kabochan was never the less, thankful for this outcome, never letting go of that smile meant to charm and disarm. A free hand coming up to pluck the scouter free from his eyes so that he could meet Radia's gaze as a peer, those amber eyes swirling with energy and ambition unafraid to waver from the Queen's gaze. If allowed Cam would put as much spectacle as he could into his greetings, offering Radia one of his hands. Should she take it, he would dip into a low bow, planting a kiss to the back of her palm with his full, painted lips, never grasping her palm if he was even allowed to do so in the first place, only cupping the Saiyan Queen's palm gently. Even the tiniest of idiosyncrasies mattered in these events. "You and yours have made an unforgettable name across this galaxy. I hope today we can perhaps make it so that all our names can go down in history. Leaders remembered for ending this war, hopefully peacefully." His gaze slipped over to Colla then, giving her much the same treatment he had to the queen, cupping her palm and kissing it, though when he stood beside the Saiyan warrior woman he would murmur, "A little birdie told me you slapped the shit out of Polaris and his forces on Mitra. That true?" His voice barely a whisper to the Saiyan woman, though if she confirmed such a rumor the Emperor would grin genuinely at the Saiyan. "Ah, where are my manners?" He gestured to his Retinue, "This is Coca, my Prime Lieutenant and master of the fleet," The Kabochan woman was indeed a beauty, tall for a woman of his species at six feet, her opal colored hair was certainly unique and her amber eyes matched Cam's in ambition and power, though where Cam was boisterous, Coca was genteel. Only shaking hands that were offered, otherwise bowing and speaking graciously, "It is a distinct pleasure to meet you Queen Radia. We hope to make these talks as smooth and productive as possible." She would say before stepping aside. Behind Coca was an adolescent frost demon, one that was widely recognized, "This Queen Radia, Is Absolut. The son of Polaris and if prodigy of sorts to myself." Everything Carambolis had said and done was a gauge, now this was the ultimate test. Just how would the Saiyan queen react to... All of this, really? Meanwhile in the distance, the drone of approaching gunships could be heard, ready to swoop in at a moment's notice.

It had been well over a week since the coup of Ferusalem. Gallius along with three fellow Councilmen had forcibly retired the remaining six. Though one had gotten a bit uppity, Gallius made sure to put him back in his place. In the meantime, they went straight to reorganizing the Ferusalem government into a proper Kingdom. Whatever they had before wouldn’t be sustainable nor secure. It was a simple dream, Gallius knew that now. Even if criminals and undesirables avoided the planet, there would still be the issue of the lack of security for its ever growing population. Gallius had risen the number of Knights Cordis to more than double its original size as well as redoubling recruitment efforts. Mercenaries were to be avoided at all costs given their less than reliable nature. They would need truly loyal soldiers if this Kingdom was to last. Gallius would continue to ponder the future of his new kingdom whilst donning his new armor. With his original armor completely destroyed by Pleez, he had decided to adopt a more protective set and opting to avoid a Surcoat. Plated armor had not been fully developed on his home world before it was destroyed, though it was discussed. His new armor, however, was not affected by this restriction. Gallius would slowly press each magnetic plate into its proper spot on the more form fitting under suit. He would then attach the ceremonial blue tasset. It would identify him as King amongst his retinue of similar looking guards. The new helmet was Gallius’ favorite addition to the armor. It was closed fully, with the interior of the helm granting complete visibility. He had even more protection than his old Great Helm while lacking any sort of tunnel vision granted by the small eye slits. Finally, he would place his sheath at his side. He had no need for a normal sheath as he simply formed weapons at will. But this was no normal sheath. The handle which jutted out was a focus. Upon grabbing it he could channel and store his Ki within the sheath. When removed, the Ki would be expelled violently outwards. A wonderful device to deter would be assassins. King Gallius held his hands behind his back as they entered the atmosphere. Through a window he could see the sprawling city-scape. Abbayor. He had not returned to the planet since his drunken tirade with the one known as Kuueru. It was a complete surprise when he was chosen to return for these Peace Accords, as the representative of the Independent planets. Perhaps word of Ferusalem had traveled further than he first anticipated. It was an honor either way. One which he would not squander. The familiar Kabachan ships. Amatricia had graced Ferusalem with one such fleet not to long ago. It was a shame she wouldn’t make it to represent her kind, they seemed to grow ever more present. Their loud, metallic marching stopped just before reaching the meeting area. Gallius ordered his guards to stay behind while he entered the meeting. He trusted these Peace accords would stay peaceful and did not wish to insult Radia by implying otherwise. If worse came to worse he could put up his own fight. Gallius entered the area, slowly looking around until seeing Radia. With complete marching discipline, he would walk towards Radia and kneel. “I thank ye fer allowen me ta be ere today” He would say before standing and taking his proper spot, awaiting the meeting’s start. Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
So this is it, then. If Mr. Cam is to be believed, then... the conflict which had defined Absolut's life for well over a year now was about to come to an end. The Queen of the Saiyans, Radia, reached out to the Galaxy's highest leaders, including the Earthlings, Absolut's benefactor... and his father. To iron out a treaty which will put a stop to some of the greatest wars this galaxy had ever seen. Bring peace at last.
And Mr. Cam wanted Absolut to attend alongside his entourage. For what reasons? Well, that the young Frost Demon wasn't sure on. However, if Polaris was also there, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to guess that it's going to be something related to him. As well as, of course, the fact that the rest of his family was still held on Abbayor. Had they already been freed by the Saiyans who landed on the planet and claimed it as their own, have Eis and Arctica been evacuated from there before they could get their hands on them, or did the Saiyans catch wind of their presence and decide to take their revenge for all the suffering by murdering Polaris's wife and daughter in cold blood? Again, Absolut didn't know. In fact, that was a recurring, and highly insufferable theme.
Absolut wanted to be a hero, to save people. But the world kept throwing him into politics, war and diplomacy, a tool for greater empires to mingle in their hands, determined to push him away from the only thread between what he was like in the past, and what he had been shaped into by now. And he hated that.
And peace could change that.
Alongside the rest of Cam's entourage and elite guard, including Coca and Duria, Absolut stepped onto the bridge of the Kabochan flagship, his choice of attire being a tight Galactic Patrol uniform, modelled specifically for Frost Demons such as himself - the badge of the now defunct organization was still blazed onto the uniform's chest. He didn't get much of a chance to wear it while on Kabocha - Battle Armor or a Frost Demon bio-suit were more preferred during training - but for such a special occasion, Absolut chose to weak the moniker of one of the two things which shaped him to the person he is with pride.
While inspecting the soldiers and informing them about what they're getting themselves into, Cam stopped by Absolut and addressed him directly, informing him that his father will be there and he has a chance to turn against the rest of the delegates - in which case either they all kill him or he kills all of them. What was left for the boy to decide was whether he agreed to take on this risk.
For once, the young Frost Demon responded without an ounce of hesitation:
"Yes, Mr. Cam, I am ready to see my father. And I will be prepared."
The ship's engines soon roared and the vessel descended on the surface of Abbayor, letting the delegation of the Kabochan Confederacy into the Peace Plaza. Absolut followed after Cam, glancing from side to side, eyeing over the panorama of the planet he grew up on, but had little chance to visit for over a year. The first thing he had to note was that... not all that much changed. Sure, the planet was now Saiyan controlled, but all which Absolut connected with his homeworld - the endless cityscape, the massive variety of aliens from across the entire Galaxy, the buzzing streets, the flashy lights, the starless skies, blotted over by all of the aforementioned light - all of it was still there.
Is Mom within that crowd? Is she out there? I... I can't sense her, there's too many power levels around...
What awaited Cam and his entourage was Queen Radia, Supreme Commander Onyon, his daughter Colla and other Saiyans. So many of the most powerful people of the Universe, all in one place... it was getting hard to comprehend. Cam presented himself to the Queen and Colla with hand kisses - that was almost as odd of a sight, it was rare for the Frost Demon to see his benefactor act with such respect and humility to someone else. Immediately after, Cam introduced Absolut to Radia, instantly stating that he is the son of Polaris - which forced several beakers of cold sweat to form on his forehead.
Here he is, saying hello to one of the most powerful beings in the Galaxy. A person Absolut had, since then, only heard from on the Hypernet and in his civics textbook. The young Frost Demon lowered his head and torso in a deep bow for a few seconds, then spoke:
"G-good to see you, Queen Radia. Mr. Cam is correct, I am Absolut, Polaris's son, but-"
He was about to say that he doesn't support any of Polaris's actions, but that sentence had to be cut off, as a sharp power level descending towards the planet and digging into his mind forced him to turn his head, clenching his teeth.
That's him...
The Emperor of the Galaxy NOTES
Abbayor is beautiful just like it always was. It's no doubt why it, alongside Earth, was sometimes dubbed as the two Blue Marbles of the Galaxy, or the two gems in the Galxy's crown, or many other of the handpicked poetic subtitles. Polaris couldn't deny, he had fond memories of living on the planet, too, even though ever since accruing fame and power as a Galactic Patrolman, his chances of visiting the planet for any longer period of time became less and less frequent. Just all of the new things you can get to experience every day, be it new species to come across, new type of food to try, new type of entertainment to take part in, would keep one coming and coming to this planet, over and over.
Today, it hosted some of the most powerful and influential beings in this entire galaxy. The entire upper leadership of the Saiyan Dominion, including Queen Radia herself. Emperor Carambolis of the Kabochan Confederacy. Whoever Earth sends as a delegate. And many representatives from independent worlds. And soon also Emperor Polaris of the First Galactic Empire, who was currently standing next to one of the windows of his flagship, the Imperial Wrath, and looking over the rapidly approaching planet.
If I were to, say, open this window and raise this finger now... I could probably deal with most of my problems in one fell swoop. Sure, losing Abbayor will be a pain... but I'm sure we can gloss over that fact through propaganda or put the blame on the Saiyans themselves. And, what's more, and and all of the rivals to my Empire will be decapitated, in the leadership sense.
Hmmm...
"I'd advise you against that, Your Majesty." a feminine voice from behind Polaris's back called out. 1-CE.
Polaris continued staring to the window for a few seconds, then spoke. "Your reasoning being?"
"Only an idiot would destroy their capital chance only for a chance to murder a few Saiyans, Your Majesty. Need I continue on? I may provide you with data on how losing the population and industry of Abbayor will affect your war-making capabilities, or the fact that your entire family is currently on the surface and will be lost in the hellfire."
Family.
Eis can be written off. Arctica... is precious. Should be kept, maybe groomed from a young age to be his successor. Absolut?..
Absolut is down there, I can sense his presence.
Absolut was a pain. But a pain which Polaris, oddly, gained some newfound respect for, even if they hadn't seen each other for over a year. He was idealistic, but idealistic in the way where even his whole world shattering around him was not enough to destroy his dream. He didn't perish in the bottomless well of space he had rarely seen in the past, he didn't end his life, he lived, and even found Cam to serve as his backbone.
Polaris held little chance of reconciliation, but someone like Absolut could not be written off as a weakling or a fool. There's still hope left in him.
Alright, Abbayor gets to live for another day.
And the Imperial Wrath was inching closer and closer to Peace Plaza, too. Polaris stepped in front of the primary exit of the vessel, a few lines of handpicked Ultramarines standing behind him, and awaited until a brief thud signated that they successfully touched down and the exit opened as an automatic retractable staircase. There they were, down below. Radia, Cam, Absolut - cowering behind his benefactor - and even a delegate whom Polaris had never seen before, in antiquated steel armor.
Slowly, Polaris - wearing gilded, sparkling armor with a dark blue cape attached to its shoulder pads - stepped down the staircase, not bothering to rip a page out of Cam and introduce himself to the crowds watching the meeting, or the rest of the planet - those on this planet who don't know who Polaris is are probably not really interested in what he has to say, regardless. The lines of Ultramarines followed after him, serving as the Emperor's personal guard, although he was not really the type to need protection at this point.
Polaris's march stopped a few meters away from Queen Radia, at which point the Frost Demon cracked a slight smirk and slightly nodded his head, then spoke:
"Good to see you, Queen Radia. I'd welcome you to my planet, but I figure you don't really need an introduction."
His eyes then shifted towards Cam, where he continued:
"And good to see you too, Emperor Carambolis. It has been a while since we last joined forces... but at least it's nice to hear that the Empire's help to the struggle of your people didn't go completely for naught."
Absolut, meanwhile, who was currently standing within the ranks of the Kabochan elite to try to be less noticeable, suddenly received a telepathic message. Don't hide, Absolut, I don't bite. The young Frost Demon gulped, his eyes remaining fixated on his father, and chose to not listen to Polaris's advice for now. Meanwhile, the Emperor's eyes shifted towards Gallius, where he finished:
"And then... I am not sure if we're familiar, but good to see you as well. I am Polaris I, the Emperor of the Galaxy."

- Peace Plaza - - A B B A Y O R - All of the delegates had arrived, save for one, the dignitary from Earth... King Xell. After all, it was suitable to his style to be fashionably late. With the likes of Emperor Carambolis's intimidating armada and Emperor Polaris's imposing presence, one could not fault him for attempting to stand out. These Peace Accords were a landmark for not only the potential to end decades of war, but also it would be his first real introduction to the galaxy as the King of Earth. He'd be a fool to waste the opportunity. It was a beautiful day. The sky was a brilliant hue of the softest blue that faded to amber against the horizon. A few clouds floated overhead, somewhat mired by the sudden air traffic. The citizens gathered for the event ranged in the thousands. They packed the plaza and were cordoned off by security as to not interrupt the proceedings. Yet they still cheered and jeered at the arrivals. There were fans and foes alike in the audience, none seemingly afraid to speak their mind. Some held signs, others chanted. It was quite the spectacle. The Kai's servants had been among the crowd for quite some time. They worked the mob and molded it, carefully and subtly, through whispers and bribes. The newly crowned King already had the gold to spare. A few thousand or so coins or jewels spent among the crowd would cost him little and gain him so much more. Presentation was everything and you only get one chance to make the perfect first impression. He'd leave little to chance. As the monarchs and dignitaries conversed among themselves, something was happening in the skies above. Suddenly hundreds of golden portals materialized overhead, forming a canopy of sorts. Each portal rippled like water, but nothing came from them. They, instead, illuminated the solitary silhouette at the center. A few well placed "What's that?" and some upward gestures and the crowd soon caught sight of him. The camera crews turned their attention to the newest arrival as well. Soon his visage covered the media screens surrounding the event. His shimmering golden armor, spiky blonde hair, and vivid crimson eyes for all the crowd to see. The spectators, as paid, howled and applauded, cheered and yelled. The uproar caused the very ground to tremble. It brought the faintest of smirks to his face. He slowly began to descend down to the plaza itself. As he did so, small golden specks of light began to fall like snow from the many golden portals above him. As soon as he got close to the ground, his magnificent armor faded to reveal ornate jewelry and fine robes. He snapped both arms out to the sides and the crowd collectively lost their minds. Spotting his pre-planned signal, his various servants spread through the crowd gave signals of their own and suddenly the air was filled with rose petals as he touched down on the paved walkway across from the other dignitaries. The petals were thrown by those in the crowd and carried by the wind. Coupled with the falling, cascading bits of light, it was an impressive display. Alas, the portals slowly closed, one by one. The petals eventually littered the ground or were swept away by the wind. His arms lowered. One fell to his side, the other hung in front of him. His thumb tucked into the sash around his waist. He steered half-opened eyes towards the other dignitaries... paused for a moment... and then approached them. He scrutinized each of those gathered. He already knew Polaris and Cam, he was aware of Radia, but the other one in the armor. He did not know and thus he mostly ignored. To the three he knew, he nodded in a gesture meant to show mutual respect but somehow he was able to make it seem indifferent and cold. "To those that do not know of me. I am Xell. King, Guardian, and Protector of the planets in the Kingdom of Earth."He turned away from them, his robes fluttered outward as he turned on his heel and billowed out behind him as he strode to the circular table. He took a seat, conjured a goblet of wine, and waited for the others to follow suit. "Now that I have arrived... we can begin."

The first to arrive on the scene was Emperor Carambolis. And boy did he make an entrance. Radia could feel the power levels that materializing out of thin air as his ships dropped out of hyperspace. There were so many of them, a larger number of soldiers than most outer-rim planets had for an entire population. The notorious mercenary and now Emperor of Kabocha had far more men at his command than the Dominion had, even before Radia chopped its numbers for the sake of the Peace Accords. The strength radiating from them was at best inconsistent, though. Some of the power levels among the trove were bastions of prowess, while others were minuscule. The Queen of Saiyans was dressed plainly compared to Emperor Carambolis. She wore simple red and brown robes, and beneath them a light armored vest. She had far better armor, but she was here for peace and not war. Coming fully clad in battle attire would have been an insult, she figured. She had to set an example of what a peaceful meeting looked like. Even if she was out of her element. As Cam approached, he offered his hand. Radia let him take hers and place a kiss upon it. She betrayed no smile or eagerness, but she had to admit the charm was something else. In the corner of her eye she could see Colla was watching with great interest. Radia understood now why the young woman was interested being wed to this powerful man. There was something elusive about Cam, and fierce. Radia didn't feel threatened by him, but she wondered how long until he would be a viable threat. He had gained great power and also great influence at an alarming pace. Even faster than she had. That meant he had both skill and talent. A dangerous combination. He left her side and went to Colla. The daughter of the Supreme Commander snapped to attention and fought a blush as he kissed her hand too and whispered something Radia couldn't hear from her position. Colla smiled back at the handsome Emperor, a bit bashful. She was on duty after all, and chose to remain quiet. Radia could see excitement and happiness on her face was real, and remembered her first real love interest fondly. That alone made the hardened queen smile. The second introduction caught her off guard. Absolut, son of Polaris. She knew that Polaris had a family, had an heir. But, she never thought much about it. The youth was with Cam. That alone struck her as noteworthy. Was Cam playing a dangerous game with the Emperor? Things were a bit more interesting between the two leaders than she originally thought. The third entry was none other than King Gallius, a new ruler from a frontier world known as Ferusalem. Radia knew little about the planet nor about its circumstances. But, she dipped her head as the armored king knelt before her. Polaris's massive cruiser cast its shadow over the entire plaza. She couldn't help but muse at the symbolism there. The Emperor of the Glaxy, his self proclaimed title, was probably its biggest threat. She felt herself go cold with anger at his audacity. But, she had to keep her feelings in check. The Saiyan blood in her veins began to boil as she listened to his voice. She wanted to fight this man, end him where he stood. Like she had done to Lord Rime on Kacboha, those years ago. Despite her true feelings, she managed an empty smile towards the Emperor. "Glad you could join us," she said. "Abbayor is the heart of the galaxy, and belongs to her people as it always has. I hold no claim over it." Next came illuminating portals and falling snow of golden light. Radia knew magic when she saw it, and the man who showed up was a brilliant wizard--that was for sure. His introduction caught her off guard. She had been expecting King Ches. But, Xell was proclaiming himself the King and Guardian of Earth. The word guardian, struck her odd. She had heard the term used before, by Master Shin. Could this be an actual Guardian? Shin had told her that Earth was protected by a Guardian, one trained and chosen by the gods. There were few worlds left out there in the universe that held such importance to receive one. Earth was seen as very unique, from a cosmic perspective. That was one of the main reasons she had never set her sights upon it, rather she had negotiated trade instead. Earth would have been the most valuable planet to snatch in her imperial conquests. Not only did it have Capsule Corp, but it also had Earthlings, who for the most part were viable mates to the Saiyan kind. Hell the Frieza Force had been driven back from Earth, part of the reason it it fell apart was the cost of that failed conquest. She doubted the Dominion would have fared any better. If she remembered her history correctly, Prince Vegeta had lived a portion of his life on Earth. And the other Saiyan that Master Shin had called Goku, the one that defeated Lord Frieza and other threats to the galaxy. The two had been some of the strongest beings to ever exist. Earth was special world indeed. So much so that she had left her infant son there to be raised, all those years ago. After Xell's introduction, two more individuals strolled in. The first was Kelpo Baas, leader of Union of Shipwrights and intern Prime Minister of Arcose. He was surrounded by an entourage of cyborgs dressed in full cloaks and what appeared to be gas masks. He smiled warmly and nodded as he moved with his casual gait, finding a seat awkwardly beside Emperor Polaris. Both of his eyes shifted to Emperor Carambolis, eliciting a look of nervousness. Radia wondered if it was due to the fact that the Kabochan's had a huge presence in the East Quadrant subsequent the fall of the Frieza Force. Perhaps Arcose felt its independence was threatened by the Confederacy. The final member of the meeting was Lady Gravei, a High Councilor of Brench. She wore flowing silken robes, that were more than revealing. In fact, she almost looked nude beneath the ghostly veil. Brenchians were known for their eccentric nature, that was for sure. The woman's powerful hips swayed with each landing of her tall heeled boots. She was alone in her approach, and gawked at by almost every male in the crowd. She slid in beside Gallius like a phantom, crossing her legs one over the other as she leaned casually in her seat. She then offered the helmeted knight a honey-soaked smile. "We're all here," Radia said and leaned forward in her chair. "Now we can get down to business" "It really is a beautiful thing, isn't it?" Lady Gravei said with a voice like velvet. "I think this is the first time in the recent history of the galaxy that leaders of the most powerful factions gathered to talk, not punch each other's faces in." Kelpo Baas grunted. "The Frieza Force never really was one for talking. More for killing. So, I think the galaxy learned some bad habits over the centuries." Radia nodded in agreement. "The way I see it, we've all seen the scars that war can produce. Many of us carry them with us everyday. Still--we have no real reason to fight among each other. This galaxy is a very big place, with plenty of resources. If we communicate, if we are able to come to agreements--we can share them. "I wouldn't invite you all here without a proposition. Without a idea on how we can achieve peace. My belief that is we can create an alliance of collective security. The agreement being that if any one state should attack one of the members in the alliance, all states will act upon the aggressor in retaliation. Also, that disagreements and issues be settled by a council of peers. We shall have hearings where both sides and present their cases. We'll work towards finding middle ground where possible, and enforce that both sides make concessions if the council is in an agreement that such actions are fair and just. "I also suggest that we re-enact Galactic Law, as was drafted and enforced by the original Galactic Patrol. I am suggesting that we re-instate the Galactic Patrol or an equivalent peace-keeping force, as a neutral entity in-charge of making sure member states are held to this agreement. They would have jurisdiction and power within each of our realms. And, they would be composed of hand selected and highly trained individuals from our member states--to make it fair."

The Emperor listened carefully, he knew if there was any time to maintain composure it was this peace accord, one wrong word to the wrong person could set the whole thing ablaze, though he couldn't afford to look weak to the galaxy by an means, patient was one thing but weak? Never. Here Radia was making proposals after these two planetary lords gave their opening statements. Kelpo Baas would be the one to get Carambolis tongue lashing. Standing the Emperor inclining his head towards Radia, "Well said. Let it be known that the Kabochan Confederacy would be willing to work alongside a galactic patrol were it to be reinstated. Law, order, and safety of the people needs to be ensured." Looking over at the Arcosian he smoke with the tone of a man who was holding his anger back, a quiet rage that begged to be fed so it could become explosive, "Wiping entire planets clean of life for profit, you call that a galactic bad habit?" He asked rhetorically. "How about plucking children from villages in the night and slaughtering their families right before him? How about taking them to be slaves and child soldiers in the Frieza force? I was one such child. For me it wasn't a bad habit, it was a living nightmare that I endured for over a decade. My father is dead because of the Frieza force. My mother and siblings missing, likely dead or sold into slavery for profit." Looking from face to face, Carambolis was about to point out an undeniable truth, one that every other faction seemed to have forgotten, "While you were fighting in the core worlds, fighting at Queen's haven, fighting on my people's homeworld--a world that was almost dead to begin with, you all forgot!" The Emperor's volume at a near shout, the passion and rage self evident as the Kabochan did everything in his power not to quiver with such rage, those who could sense power levels could feel the Emperor's rising then leveling off as he took a moment to compose himself, "The Frieza force went bankrupt and was liquidated. The galaxy was left holding the bag and cleaning up the mess, and what did the galaxy do?" he asked, looking from face to face, "It went to war. Dominion and Galactic Empire. The Earth? New Namek? Tritek? All those civilized, high society, and so called 'cultured' worlds? Nowhere to be seen. Not one call for justice, not one single zeni of aid." Shifting to look between Radia, Polaris, and Xell, he continued to speak, "What you all forgot was that the people responsible got away. The warlords, the fascist, the dictators, the genocidal maniacs... They're all out there, all with their own private armies and own private fortunes!" He shouted, an accusatory finger pointed at an invisible enemy, "The Kabochan Confederacy will broker for peace but not one moment before justice has been met and the Eastern quadrant of the galaxy stabilized. If any of you stand for peace then you stand for justice, that means finishing what was started so long ago and repairing what damages that can be repaired. This galaxy needs healing." His gaze shifted over towards Xell as he spoke next, "I've seen greater adversaries than the armies we can conjure up. I propose that by joining this initiative that the Galactic patrol is given precedent to apprehend the former Frieza force leadership." Carambolis let his golden eyes slip back towards Kelpo Baas, how he reacted would say a lot about his position in the hierarchy of Arcose, useful information to be certain. "I also propose an immediate cease fire between the Dominion, Galactic Empire and Kabochan Confederacy for seventy two hours, three galactic days, even if nothing else comes of these talks. This will ensure that the Confederacy can provide ample aid and support to those in war ravaged territories." It would also ensure insertion points and people on the inside for troops and supplies to be smuggled in if things did turn to war; whether anyone else realized that or not the Emperor didn't know. "Lastly, we have many refugees throughout the galaxy currently. We need a place for them to live and currently, It seems my faction is the only one trying to save worlds and not destroy them. To that end I open my recently restored home world of Kabocha to as many refugees as our new habitable lands and resources will allow for." Certainly several billion at the very least and Carambolis knew it, here he was on the world stage, scolding other leaders for their heinous acts while simultaneously saving billions of lives with nothing more than his words. "Kabocha of course, will not be enough. Planet Styx, up until recently, was a hazard world, filled with aberrations and horrors that we have since dispatched. This world will also be open to as many refugees as it can comfortably sustain. This is my contribution to these problems. I would like to see what the rest of you are willing to do to unite our worlds." He was putting his proverbial money where his mouth was, the Confederacy was built on the tenants of unity, safety, freedom and healing. His speech had likely won him the attention and support of more than a few fringe worlds and other planets that wanted to voice support while not taking on the burdens themselves. The game was about to change one way or the other and he had to be certain to lay the groundwork for his next move, selling his terms to as much of the galaxy as possible would make his plans all the more successful.

Gallius turned to Emperor Polaris as he introduced himself. “Ye an Emperor intha Galaxy, not of. Our meeten ere shuld be evidense enuff of that”. He would return his attention back as the meeting started. Three more had joined, two independants such as himself, and the Protector of Earth. Now apparently the King, which was fitting. Earth was independent as well and served as a future goal for Gallius to achieve. The perfect example of how Planetary governments are the most effective government. Gallius sat back and listened to Emperor Carambolis. The Emperor made some good points, still it didn’t seem like Gallius nor many of the independents here would found the ideas put forward very tasteful. That on top of the venomous anger thrown to the Arcosian out of personal revenge for his family made him seem a bit too emotional about these matters. Being a leader of a government meant one had to seperate state and personal pasts. It would certainly not surprise anyone here if Carambolis went to invade Arcosia to exact his form of justice. Gallius stood as Carambolis took his seat. “Ye state ye wysh fer healing an safety fer all. We all do, tys why we are independent. Ye yerself haf used a Demon who led a brutal invashon upon ta wurld of Styx. I saw ta peepel she ruthlessly beat, her legyons of demons who enslaved mortels fer use in her own relm” Gallius held his hands behind his back. “But that is what happens when ye hold Galatic wyde Empyres. Ta Independants seem easy fer ta taken. I do nat thynk a Galatic Patrol wuld help anything” He said pointing to Polaris. “We saw wat happened last tyme we had one. No amount of Checks n Balanses will stap that from happenen. Fer ta rulers of ta Galatic Patrols wuld tear them asunder if deemed ‘Nessesary’, jus as Polaris did. It is ta duty of a Government ta protect its peepel. By establyshen another Galatic wyde polyse organisashon, ye art admytten yer governments are ineffectyve. Yet I beg ye ta look at Earth, wich stands strong AND independent after all thys tyme” Gallius crossed his arms and looked upon the other ambassadors. “I ta leest likely ere ta make any impact. But I shalt not stand ere and lysten ta ye speek as if ye no wat is best fer me world. We are independent fer a good resson. Fer all your Galatic wyde governments, ye haf yet ta bryng peese. Nay, ye all haf started sum of ta worse of wars. I don want rulers, I want allies. Frens. Thys is why I implore ye, fer Ferusalem an all other Independents, no more conquest of us. Keep yer warfare ta yer own systems. An if an independent wurld wyshes ta wurk wyth ye, or even joyn yer Empyre, wunderful. But no moar bloodshed. After ta war, a Senate of planets wuld serve best, but nat another Galatic Empyre” He would look at Cam. “We can haf unity wythout an Empyre” Gallius would then cross his arms before giving his final statement. “Ferusalem is an always will be a wurld fer Refugees, innocents, an those seeking freedom. Twas why I fownded it. Ta Nyte Cordis haf already been helpen those in thys territories, as whale as stoppen Pyrates an rayders. Ferusalem stands Independent, an will always help those in need” Word Count: 567 Lute Cam Van Legume

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil The Emperor of the Galaxy NOTES Right before Polaris was about to take up his seat at the negotiations table, his eyes, drawn by the familiar power signature suddenly appearing in the distance, took a turn towards portals opening up and golden light showering the plaza. Of course, with the Dominion, the Empire and Kabocha already represented, and representatives from independent worlds - Gallius, Kelpo Baas, Lady Gravei - were also there, all they were waiting for is the delegate from the Kingdom of Earth... but Polaris hadn't even anticipated it to be him. Xell. Now not just a Shinjin, not just the Guardian of Earth, either, as he was the last time he and Polaris met and fought. No, now he was apparently the King of Earth, too. How and when did this sudden shift in leadership take place, he had no idea, but this was something he definitely had to take note of. Out of the entire crowd of people gathered in the Plaza, including all of the delegates at the table, Polaris considered himself to be the most aware of the power which Xell possessed. After all, the two were rivals, in a way, even if that rivalry was severely one-sided. Even right now, at this massively overpowered state, the Frost Demon could not be too sure if he would be able to win if the two were to come to blows. This makes the debate a little more problematic than he imagined. Regardless, after ignoring Gallius's comment about him having to claim to the title of "Emperor of the Galaxy" - what does someone like him know about politics at the grand scale, after all? - the Frost Demom gave a curt nod to Xell's arrival and took his seat by the negotiations table. Absolut, obviously, had no seat. Instead, he watched the negotiations on the fate of the Galaxy unfold pressed next to Duria, still unsure if he should trust his father's presence here or not, ready to run at any moment - but no such situation unfolded. What he had learned so far was: A) King Xell was intimidating, but knew how to put up a show. B) Gallius was completely incomprehensible, his accent sounding like he has an apple shoved into his mouth. Polaris had it easier, pressing a button on the communications device attached to his ear to have 1-CE translate the armored knight's words to a more comprehensible language if necessary. The first to speak was Queen Radia, introducing the first of her proposals - the reestablishment of the Galactic Patrol as a nonpartisan, neutral peace keeping force, active throughout the whole galaxy and enforcing Galactic Law across the entire Galaxy. Cam spoke in favor of the proposal to reestablish the Patrol, too - and presented a demand of his own, this being the stabilization of the Eastern Quadrant and bringing the people who were behind the former Frieza Force to justice, citing the experience of thousands of worlds and species who suffered at their hands, including his own. Meanwhile, Gallius declared that his and his planet's, Ferusalem's, primary interest is the creation and maintenance of peace, which includes the foundation of a Galactic Senate, presumably to solve interplanetary conflicts through an international forum where those conficts can be resolved. The news of the proposal of restoring the Galactic Patrol, free from the influence of the First Galactic Empire, saw Absolut's eyes widen, it instantly piqued his interest. Polaris, on the other hand, did not show much emotion. Once Cam and Gallius finished their turn, the Frost Demon emperor expressed his opinion: "I'm sure you are aware, Queen Radia, that Galactic Law is already the foundation of the constitution of the First Galactic Empire. As such, we can only applaud the initiative to have these laws be applied across the entire galaxy, complete with a Galactic Patrol to enforce them. As long as this Patrol remains truly non-partisan, the First Galactic Empire will endorse its creation." There isn't much to worry about here. The Galactic Patrol was always historically ineffective, so why would this time be different? And even if it is different, the Patrol could just as easily be used to target the enemies of the Empire as much as its own actions. No harm in giving a few concessions and letting Radia and the rest believe they have won something. With his opinion stated, Polaris pressed a button on the comms device in his ear, opening a direct link to 1-CE and thus nonverbally inform her to prepare the visuals necessary. "As the idea of the Galactic Peace Accords was started by the Saiyan Dominion reaching out to the First Galactic Empire, these negotiations are held in the shadow of the Saiyan-Imperial War, and they are held on the former capital of the Empire, I have figured that instead of a few ideas or statements, I shall present a complete peace proposal on the behalf of my faction, which we may be able to discuss and alter further from now on." Hologram projectors within the Imperial Wrath opened up, projecting an image behind the Emperor's seat, starting out with a fairly stock image of the Galaxy and the control zones of all of the major factions, including the Empire, the former Dominion, Earth and the Confederacy among others, highlighted. "Of course, the first point of our peace proposal is ceasing all hostilities between the First Galactic Empire and the newly reestablished Kingdom of the Saiyans. The forces of both of the sides withdraw to their borders before the war, or, in the case of the Saiyan Kingdom, to their new borders after the disestablishment of the Saiyan Dominion. All prisoners of war held by either side will be returned, and no indemnities will be paid." The hologram faded to the image of a simplistic logo, designed by artists under the payroll of the Empire in preparation for the Peace Accords. "To prevent further mass bloodshed, to provide all of the nations in the Galaxy a chance to reconcile their differences and resolve conflicts in an international forum, to coordinate the peace-keeping efforts of the Galactic Patrol, to manage the tomes of Galactic Law and make new additions if necessary, and many other things and roles necessary for maintaining Galactic Peace, but currently lacking, the Empire calls for the establishment of the United Species, a supranational organization whose membership will consist of all of the independent states in the Galaxy. The organization will be composed of delegates sent by all of the independent states in the Galaxy, the number of delegates adjusted per population of each state. These delegates will elect a chief council of the organization as well as approve the commanders and main officers of the Galactic Patrol." The hologram shifted to a map of the Galaxy once again, this time the Galactic core marked by a blinking red dot. "We also believe that to prevent the United Species from being in the payroll of any independent nation, the Galactic core, this being the supermassive black hole in the center and its immediate vicinity, be designated as the headquarters of the United Species and the refounded Galactic Patrol. The abandoned Saiyan forward base of Queen's Haven will be able to fulfill this role, once refurbished. The black hole's immediate vicinity will be declared as a stateless zone, administered directly by the United Species." The map of the Galaxy zoomed in, focusing on the East Quadrant. "To ensure that the New Frieza Force never returns to prominence ever again, and to prevent any further chaos in the currently lawless, fractured zone that is the East Quadrant, the First Galactic Empire, as the only state with enough power projection in its vicinity, wishes to be recognized as the sole authority of the East Quadrant. In exchange, the Empire will oblige to maintain the autonomy of the independent states and self-liberated species in these territories, sweep the region from warlords and remnants of the Planet Trade Organization, and bring any caught perpetrators of mass genocide and atrocities during the Frieza Force era to the United Species to be put to trial according to Galactic Law." The map of the Galaxy shifted yet again, this time focusing on Planet Radia, formerly known as Planet Frieza #79. "At the same time, the First Galactic Empire wishes to be recognized as the authority over Planet Radia, also known as Planet Frieza #79, and its star system. This world is, as all are aware, highly armed and a dangerous weapon at the hands of a terrorist organization or, even worse, Frieza Force remnants. Before the disestablishment of the Saiyan Dominion, it was under Saiyan control, but the return of the Kingdom of the Saiyans has left the fate of this planet into a great question mark. The First Galactic Empire, as the state closest to Planet Radia, and as thus naturally the most afraid of it falling into the hands of enemies of peace, wishes to prevent the worst outcome from taking place by placing it under Imperial authority." With his proposals stated, the Emperor leaned back, awaiting a reaction to his proposal. (1530 words, total 3273)

Xell's eyes lazily moved from one delegate to the other as they took turns speaking. When one was describing their plan or their thoughts, he'd glance over at the others and study their expressions, scrutinize their gestures. Each of them seemed to have their own agenda, their own goals to achieve at this summit. He caught sight of himself in one of the video screens displayed in the background. With a smirk he turned his face towards the camera drone and winked before returning his attention to the meeting. The Kai took a sip of his wine while Polaris was going over his plan. He rolled his eyes about halfway through the Galactic Emperor's monologue and set his goblet down on the table. It wasn't that he was annoyed with Polaris's specific plan. Rather, he realized in that moment that this summit would likely fail to achieve it's primary goal of peace between them all. His reasoning being that they all had different ideas of what peace looked like and how it was achieved. Until they had a unified vision, this was a waste of time. When his old rival had finished his speech and returned to his seat, the delegation turned their attention to Xell, who had been uncharacteristically quiet until now. His eyes slowly moved from one delegate to the other. He was debating on how he should explain his frustration. He decided on the truthful, but least tactful approach. With a preceding sigh, he began. "This is a waste of time."He gestured vaguely around those gathered. "You all have your own idea of how we can achieve peace, but none of you are willing to set aside your own egos to build a unified plan to see it through. Until we are of one mind and one goal, this will not work."The Kai gestured to King Gallius. "I hate to admit it, but this buffoon was the closest to an idea that would actually work. I could only understand about half of what he said, but it still sounded better than anything the lot of you have come up with."Xell looked around the table, took a breath and continued. "The Galactic Patrol failed because of its susceptibility to corruption. Being such a large organization it is impossible for it not to be. Any kind of successor would face the same issue. That is not the answer here. Any of you suggesting anything similar, any kind of unified galactic police force would be the same. The answer here seems simple enough to me. We draw up our borders. We keep to those borders and we make an agreement to continue to do so for the foreseeable future."He narrowed his eyes. "Anyone foolish enough to break that accord would meet the combined wrath of the other allied factions."With that, he reached over to the golden chalice and took another sip of his wine.

Kelpo Baas shifted in his seat a little as Polaris finished his draft of a peace proposal. Compared to the rest, his proposal was very well thought out, presented in an efficient manner and filled with details. Some of those details, were quite unsettling. The interim Prime Minister didn't like the idea of the entire East Quadrant going under the yoke of the Empire. He didn't quite have as many ideas as the rest. He had come here with one idea, and one idea alone. That Arcose remain independent. "My had long been under the yoke of the Frieza Force. Arcosians are a diverse and industrious people, with origins from all over the galaxy. We've suffered by the hands of our former masters. After the Frieza Force liquidated, Arcose was left with a power vacuum to deal with. Of course, warlords stepped up and tried to claim ownership of our world. This led to a violent civil war that almost left our planet in ruin. "Many of us did what was necessary to secure our liberty and cast those warlords our. Our new government is provisional at best, and details of our constitution are still being forged. But, we're not okay with the rampant imperialism that has been going on around the galaxy. No planet should have to fear that its liberty will be taken away by larger galactic entities. No planet should have to fear genocide and profiteering. The galactic real-estate business is dead, the days of sprawling empires needs to end as well. "I believe strongly and agree with King Gallius that there needs to be collective security provisions as a result of this peace accord." The xeno leaned back after speaking, folding his hands. He glanced furtively between Emperor Carambolis and Emperor Polaris. He had just spoken against them, two powerful men that could erase him from existence in a heartbeat, if they so wished. Unlike most at the table, Kelpo wasn't a ki wielder or a warrior. He was an engineer.
Lady Gravei edged forward, resting her elbows on the smooth surface of the table. She locked gaze with each of the people at the table, one by one making her way around the circle. "You've all said your piece, given your interpretation of what peace should be. I don't think any of disagree that we need it, it's just the devil is in the details. I feel like these minor aspects will be worked out over time and with subsequent meetings. There's no way we're going to finalize this today. Plus, there are thousands of planets that are not being represented, who were too afraid to put their neck out and come here. This could take months--if not years. But, we do need to come to some sort of agreement among ourselves not to wage war. "I have major things I wish to bring up. "The first I feel is very important to lasting peace. You see--it's easy to say you won't go to war. But, it's also easy to go to war--when you have little to lose and only everything to gain from defeating your foe. There is little trade between the various sectors and quadrants of the galaxy. Because of things like privateers and rampant piracy. If I wanted to deliver a shipment of goods to Earth, for example--it would be a very risky endeavor. I would have to spend a good deal amount of money to deploy naval assets or mercenaries to protect my convoy. It's just not feasible from a profit standpoint. And, thus Brench has no connection to Earth--nothing tying us together. "It's a lot harder to want to kill and conquer your neighbors if you have business connections with them. If you're both profiting from each other's business. We should open up trade across borders and lower tariffs. Also, if we do come to a collective security agreement, it should include provisions about protecting said trade from each other and from parties of outlaws. "My second thing I feel will be a point of contention. But, this it's also something that has always stricken me as strange that no one ever brings up--ki wielders. They are allowed to do whatever they want, because of their vastly superior abilities. They are not accounted for, they are seldom kept track of. Some ki wielders are so powerful they could wipe a plant from existence in the blink of an eye. I imagine a few of you at this table have those sort of ability, especially you Queen Radia. Your reputation as a Super Saiyan proceeds you. "I think, perhaps, Lord Gallius is missing that notion alone, in his contention against a Galactic Patrol. Armies are nothing these days. I could send a a million warriors at Queen Radia and none of them would survive a minute if she wanted to take my planet. The Galactic Patrol was at least good for that part, despite their other issues. They could police the rampant powers left unchecked in the galaxy."
Radia wondered how to proceed. She had brought this meeting together, and if she wanted to keep things on track and actually accomplish something--she had to be its leader. She tried not to look uncomfortable. She tried to keep a Queen's composure, listening to the exchanges. There were good points all around. But, there was going to be a problem. That problem was Polaris's presentation. She expected him to maneuver nimbly in these proceedings, as he was a snake. The man had risen to the top of the Galactic Patrol and taken hold of it. He had won hearts and minds across the galaxy through his "deeds." He wasn't a stranger to spinning something in a way that sounded beneficial. The Queen didn't much care about how territory was split up. She was just trying to mitigate the galaxy spiraling into further conflict. She locked onto Polaris with her ebony pupils boring into him. This is the first time she had ever been this close to him. If she reached across the table, she could have touched him. So close to the man that had murdered Taro, that she could taste it. Taste the bile. Every ounce of her being wanted to ring his little insipid throat. "I agree to no longer wage war with the Galactic Empire. But, Emperor Polaris--do you truly believe it's fair to the people in the East Quadrant--like Lady Gravei, Prime Minister Kelpo Baas, and King Gallius that you claim their territories as your own? They are sitting right here with you, seeking peace. Yet, you wish to control them. I don't understand." She shifted looking to Emperor Carambolis. "Your offer of humanitarian aide is very noble of you. How do you feel about the Empire claiming the Dominion's former world of Radia, which at the literally edge of the Confederacy's border? "The Dominion is done for. We Saiyans have given up our aspirations to claim territory. Because, we truly believe in peace, it's our ultimate goal. We were willing to fight for it in the first place and will be in the future. We've realized our mistakes." This time she looked at Xell. "Maybe the Galactic Patrol isn't the answer, in the end. Maybe it was too easily corrupted and far too invasive to the liberty of individual worlds. There's no right answer here I imagine. But, we can't sit and try to conquer each other through our own interests. That's not how real peace works."

Everyone had a different take on what they wanted the universe to be; an empire. A Confederacy. An amalgam of independent states and planets. "The Eastern quadrant should be split up. The southern half is welcome to join the Confederacy, provided it's willing. I can see by the sweat on Kelpo's forehead he thinks me and mine will torch his world. Look at my track record though Kelpo and you'll know your world isn't in danger, at least not in the sense that it would have been were it the Frieza force's fleet getting ready to attack," the Kabochan remarked. "I really don't care what borders we draw up frankly. Trade must remain free, humanitarian aid must remain free, and the laws and infrastructures of whatever system we create must be maintained. Are each and every one of you planets and systems, factions and governments, able to provide such wealth?" It was a valid question. Ferusalem was a refugee state and likely spending whatever money it had on its refugees and planetary protections. Earth, while advancing and a relatively lush world, was just that, only one world, a kingdom spread out on its local systems with a far-flung sister world in New Namek. "I know Lady Gravei's world is a host to assets. I imagine Kelpo that your government repossess some of the wealth from dark Frieza force brokers. Perhaps freeze and seize the assets of your war criminals? Maybe prosecute those criminals and bring them to justice while your at it. Take your time," by all means," he finished that sentence with some frustrated venom in his voice, "The Kabochan Confederacy is a wealthy free state. One that would be footing a large portion of the bill for the rest of the galaxy if we united in this." Standing from his chair the Emperor crossed his arms, golden eyes shifting from Radia to Xell to Polaris, all around the room from face to face. "I find Radia's terms to be fine. I'm willing to fund a government entity privately if I must to maintain law. I've been working on expanding my army to a size where it could lawfully patrol the galaxy and yes, even combat ki users such as myself." He shot Gravei a placating look before shifting to Gallius, "You would do wise not to short-change us and what we are capable of. I do not wish for a fight with Ferusalem. As for what happened on Styx? Go there and see for yourself. The only mortal beings harmed that day were those who sided with demons themselves. Demons were cleansed from that world, sent back to their own hellish realm." Narrowing his golden gaze at the knightly figure, he asked in an accusatory tone, "Unless you're all for letting demonic civilizations dominate entire planets wholesale? Because I don't care to see worlds burned of all life and blackened until their atmosphere dissipates." He wouldn't buy what this knight was trying to sell, "I am all for your fringe world freedoms, but if you're going to criticize my government, at least know what it's actually doing." That little conversational loose end tied up, Cam looked back towards Radia. "Queen Radia. I made an Alliance with the Dominion. We would support one another, that alliance still holds. I will support your proposed plans here as long as the conditions of our previous alliance are upheld. What remains of your forces will help me end the war with the Ikondan Collective and Konats will be brought into the fold of the Confederacy, those were the terms. In turn, the Saiyan Kingdom, will take hold of the prizes I was going to deliver to them: Their home world Vegeta, and Arcose." "On the topic of Planet Radia? Destroy it." He might gain a few gasps with that, but he held up a palm to explain, "The planet is nigh inhabitable. It's been destroyed several times over in raids, first by the galactic patrol, then by the Saiyan Dominion, then by several skirmishes of my own side. The only life there now is the life our militaries have stationed there. Withdraw all military from it and either pay to terra-form the world for cultivation, or destroy it." The Emperor concluded, "That is the only way to ensure that no one side tries to possess these so-called dangerous weapons on Radia. Even myself." Sitting down then, his terms given he added one last thought spoken towards Radia, "Uphold our terms and I help you stabilize as much of this galaxy as I can. No matter how this pie is sliced, long as we and all the people out there get a slice to enjoy, our worlds can be at peace. I will pursue justice against the Frieza force remnants on my own if I must."

Gallius’ golden eyes would slowly begin to blaze it’s bright golden color through the slight visor in his helmet as he sat through the proposals. He managed to calm himself a bit while listening to what Xell was saying. It was good to know that he had someone’s support in these damned Peace Accords. But each one of these “Emperors” just kept pushing their agendas, even threatening to take over one’s planet right at the table. Gallius would stand as Cam finished his proposals. “Enuff” He said, barely containing his anger. His golden gaze would turn to Polaris. “We don need yer Empyre ta mayntayn our independense, an we CERTAYNLY don need yer damed Empyre ta shrowd us” He would turn to Cam. “Thys are peese accords, nat tymes fer threts. Ye wuld do well to remember that” He would take his seat and cross his arms. “I need ye ta all understand tha we are all governments ere, an threts towerds us shant stand. Eyther ye respect us an our autonomy, or ye shant haf our support”The golden color shining from his helmet would slowly begin to dissipate as he calmed himself. “Now, bak ta tha matters at hand. I can compromise fer a Mynimal Galatyc patrol, whose sole duty wuld be ta rid Pyrates an rayders fer safer trade. I agree wit Lady Gravel that traden wuld benefyt us all an it shuld be a major focus ta help encourage Peese. I wysh fer a Senate, an it wuld seem many others ere do as wale. But under one condyshon” He would turn to look at Kelpo and Gravel. “We shalt mayntayn our Independanse, unless otherwyse desyred by sayd Government. I understand thar is benefyts ta both Empyres an Independent Governments. But that shuld be our choyse. If such a matter is ta take plase, it must be recognyzed fyrst by ta Senate in order ta keep records of ta matter, and ta show that consent hath been obtayned” The Knight King paused to look over the represenatives reactions. In all honesty he didn’t want Ferusalem involved with Galatic Politics, nor did he want any of these Empires anywhere near it. But the Galaxy was growing smaller everyday, he had to be prepared for when it happens. “In ta meenwhyle, Ta Nytes Cordys shalt continyue in our efforts in both defending ta innosent, an provyden support ta those in need. An we shalt contyue ta do thys, even if Ferusalem is invaded an destroyed” He would pause and look down slightly, thinking of his next words carefully. Word Count: 430 Van Lute Legume Cam

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil The Emperor of the Galaxy NOTES
The response to Polaris's proposal was mixed, but overall not too positive. Xell just berated everyone for having stupid proposals and then proposed nothing of his own, besides endorsing Gallius's idea of... wait, what idea did he have? Form a Galactic Senate with no defined power and that's it? Isn't that just the United Species, except even less effective? Radia seemed ambivalent, or at least did not openly speak out against his proposal, although the expression with which she glared at the Frost Demon Emperor informed everything Polaris needed to learn about her stance. Cam wanted to revise the terms and take parts of the East Quadrant for himself, as well as destroy Planet Radia completely. Fine. We can discuss about that. Polaris had no desire to grant Arcose to the Kabochans or the Saiyans, but at least this can be actually amended on.
The real problems were Gallius and Kelpo Baas, who vehemently opposed the idea of giving the Galactic Empire a blank cheque on bringing order to the Eastern Quadrant, citing, dumb, idealistic, antiquated terms such as liberty and independence. Who cares about such things in the world of geopolitics and modern international relations? Polaris opted to address that issue first.
"You three, Easterners. Sir Gallius, Lady Gravei and Sir Kelpo Baas. You drone a lot about opposing imperialism and securing the independence of your planet-states. Tell me, how much has that been working out for you? Because last I heard from Arcose specifically, your parliament had to recruit mercenaries from across the Galaxy just to get rid of a warlord and actually hand the reins of government to you!"
That's what the reports from Arcose informed Polaris, and it was one of the reasons why the East Quadrant was so lucrative to him. Because it was the path of least resistance to further expansion - and if he's going to be putting a pause to his war with the Saiyans for the time being, it makes sense to gather more power and strength under him from the East.
"The East Quadrant has been left a smouldering, chaotic mess ever since the disestablishment of the Planet Trade Organization. Piracy and racketeering is rampant. Petty conflicts between planet-states and warlords carving out regions for themselves is a daily occurrence. Remnants of the Frieza Force plotting behind the shadows, or even in the open, with no authority to put a stop to them. And all of this is happening right on the borders of the Empire - one day, it is going to spill over, and the Empire has no desire to deal with a refugee crisis or a resurgent PTO. I believe I stressed enough that all the independent nations in the East Quadrant will have their autonomy and systems of law respected - however, the First Galactic Empire needs to establish order there, for the good of the whole Galaxy."
Polaris's eyes turned towards the rest of the conversation. Lots of discussion had been made on the role which the reestablished Galactic Patrol will have in the Galaxy, whether it should continue on as the semi-militarized police of ages prior or take on a different, more minimal role. The Emperor took a sigh and spoke:
"It's odd that none of you have noticed this, but the Galactic Senate idea which Gallius is droning about in each statement? That's the exact same thing as the proposal for the United Species which I have raised, just formulated more cohesively. And because of that proposal, I have no problem with leaving the Galactic Patrol with a minimal, peacekeeping role. Their actions could be tied to the United Species by having the Patrol be, to put it simply, its military arm. Or, perhaps more accurately, its law enforcement arm. As for ensuring free trade between all of the nations in the Galaxy... free trade can be added as one of the tenets of the declaration of the United Species, and the Galactic Patrol will be able to enforce it through combating piracy."

The one thing that makes democracy great is also the one thing that makes it most frustrating. With individual views and political opinions, sometimes... most times, there are disagreements. Then, until an agreement or compromise can be made, nothing gets done. This objective truth kept replaying in the Kai's mind as he listened to the group at the table talk in circles. Round and round, the same ideas just said differently. A taunt here, a threat there. At a peace talk no less. Xell raised a hand and pinched at the bridge of his nose. He was getting a headache from listening to these fools ramble on. It was times like these that he understood why some monarchs wielded absolute, unquestionable power. With no one else to disagree with you, you could do what needed to be done. You could enact swift change and reform. However, he knew in his heart that that was not the right way to go about things. You couldn't just force people to accept change. That's not what democracy and peace is about. It is about choice. The choice to move forward towards peace and work with the others at this table to move the galaxy in that direction. No matter how frustrating it might be. He ran a hand through his hair and then let it fall to the arm rest of his chair before he looked at Cam and Polaris. "Are either of you willing to do what Radia did and retreat back to a singular world, thereby releasing the various worlds in your empires to govern themselves?"Xell raised his hand before they could answer. "That was rhetorical. Of course you aren't. You wouldn't give up that kind of leverage and power. Not after all you've done to gain it."
He took a sip of his wine. "Radia, Gallius, and myself are all in similar positions when compared to the two of you. We govern small territories and you rule empires. That alone gives the two of you a strict advantage over us. It also means you have the most to lose by these talks being successful."He sighed. "Anyway, my point is that we are not all on equal footing at this table. Until we are, it is less likely we can speak as such."Xell then turned to Queen Radia. "My question to you would be... how do we resolve this little issue?"

The Queen of Saiyans shook her head. Egos were getting in the way. She had anticipated this, from Polaris. But here was Emperor Carambolis, also repeating the same mistakes. In fact, his were somewhat worse. Right in front of Kelpo Baas, he was talking about conquering Arcose. It frustrated her, because she had an alliance with the Kabochans. Yet, they were so bold to state their readiness to discard the notion of peace. She didn't think this would be easy though. She opened her mouth to speak. "Carambo-" A lance of azure light pierced through the middle of her forehead. It continued, boring a hole through Kelpo Baas's chest on the other side of the table. The xeno's eyes went wide with terror and pain, uncertain what just had happened to him. Radia slumped forward in her chair, smoke pouring from her skull. Everything was quiet--still. Seconds ticked on, each a small eternity. Someone had killed the Queen of Saiyans. Some forlorn sniper, while her guard was down. The silence shattered with a scream. Panic flashed through the crowds watching and the bystanders erupted into motion, pushing shoving to get out of there.
Lord Snow held out a finger from across the plaza, faint tendrils of ki still flickering from his sharp nail. He stood in pure splendor, gleaming with azure light. His entire body was shiny and blue, as though his flesh had become gaudy metal. This was his greatest form, never before revealed to anyone. It testament of his hard work and unrestrained effort. It was the Cobalt Form, a power that rivaled Frieza's Golden Form of old. Chaos was beginning to take root. Sheer and utter panic. People tried to push their way towards the two Frieza Clansmen, but they didn't make it. Lord Snow's aura stood shoved them back in rippling waves. Beside him stood is son, Mecha Fridga, clad in black cloak veiling most of his cybernetic body. The garment fluttered and snapped behind him. Both of the broody youth's arms were folded and his brow furrowed. Pooka, cheeks flapping against the constant barrage of ki pressure, crouched nearby. His big mitten like hands clutched a communication's device, which he tapped furiously. "Oh," Fridga said. "You missed." "Missed?" Lord Snow asked, his voice nonchalant. The surging masses scrambled to their feet, unsure what had knocked them over. Realizing that they didn't want to go towards the shimmering blue Frieza Clansmen, they balked and charged the other way--pushing through the barricades and spilling into the meeting area and around the table where the galactic dignitaries had been seated. "No, Radia's dead. Kelpo Baas too, I imagine." "I mean you missed Polaris," Fridga repeated. "She was far more of a threat than he is," Lord Snow said in a casual tone. "Plus, I'm more interested in seeing how far he's come." "Are you sure that's a smart idea, Father?" Lord Snow reached down and grabbed the communication's device from Pooka, tossing it away. The majin squealed, but Snow cupped his chin, making him lock eyes. "Pooka, be a dear and kill them all." "Pooka kill. Pooka smash-smash-smash!" Pooka loved Lord Snow. More than life itself. He followed the command immediately bounding forward on his chubby legs. His body doubled and tripled in size until he was almost as big as a sky-scraper. Like an enormous basketball, bounced high came crashing down in the center of the Peace Plaza--crushing any unfortunate souls beneath him--including the dignitaries that were unable to defend themselves. "Die-die-die!" He began to spin like a top, whirling round and round--his stretchy limbs flailing out. The statues of Galactic Patrol heroes past crumbled and collapsed in the whirldwind of destruction. Polaris's own statue was bisected in twain and blown away. Nearby buildings were buffeted with wind, glass shattering inward. Bystanders stuck in the area were splattered in great gouts of gore or scattered like chaff on the wind. Mecha Fridga cracked his neck and flew into the air, holding his hand above his head. A tiny bead of ki swelled at the tip of his finger. It started small and swelled as he poured more and more ki into it. Before long it swelled bigger than most asteroids, casting a shadow of the metropolis. The cyborg was forced to fly higher and higher, else he threatened an early detonation. "Pooka you big oaf, get outta the way." The majin looked up, eyes wide with terror and leaped away--landing somewhere across the city in an instant--along with a giant plume of destruction. Lord Snow levitated out of the way too, watching his son go to work. Tilting a single finger forward, Fridga sent the Super Nova attack at the Peace Plaza. Well, it was big enough to wipe out half the city--but close enough. As it descended Lord Snow locked onto Polaris's ki signature and swung his arm, ending a near-invisible cutting beam of ki straight at him. If Polaris wasn't careful, it would eviscerate him in an instant. LORD SNOWSUMMARY

Mr. Cam's Reluctant Pupil
For a few minutes, Absolut watched as the debates on the future of the Galaxy continued, all of the sides throwing terms which the young Frost Demon could not understand and interpreting the lives of billions of people with such cold blood that he wasn't sure if there people weren't at least partly sociopaths. There are people living in those territories and those planets you're dividing up among each other! There's people at stake everywhere here! And you don't even consider their voice in these negotiations, how could they possibly claim to decide the peace of the whole galaxy?
And yet, Absolut opted not to offer anything, instead standing within the crowd and watching the negotiations unfold. He was getting increasingly worried that they will leave nobody satisfied, however. Polaris was putting his best game, Cam openly agitated for the annexation of the nation of one of the representatives, Xell was not helping at all, and Radia seemed unable to control the ongoing meeting... Just, just hope that everything will turn out great, oka-
Wait, who are those two Frost Demons who just pushed through? They don't seem familiar... And why is one of them blue?.. And-
Bang.
In a single shot, both the Queen of the Saiyans and the leader of Arcose fell, their energy signatures vanishing instantly and their bodied collapsing on the spot. Lord Snow's frightening aura pushed back all of the spectators around him and his two followers, including Absolut, who got rolled back for several feet before he clutched onto the ground and got himself to a halt.
These people... they're here to kill everyone! Not just Radia, but Mr. Cam and all of his friends, too!
An energy construct rapier formed in the young Frost Demon's hand and Absolut charged forward, aiming to finally put all of the hope towards becoming a great hero one day to reality... only for him to almost instantly freeze in mid-air, put into a telekinetic grip, and thrown right back towards the crowd. For a moment, Absolut though that it was Cam telling him to stand back and not charge at an anemy a thousand times stronger than you, but a surprising voice suddenly broadcast itself into his mind:
"Do not interfere, Absolut."
It was his father.
Right, that would be a highly stupid thing to do. Fridga was preparing a massive ball of energy and Snow was ready to strike straight at Polaris, the best thing he could do is to make sure that as little civilians get caught in the crossfire.
"Everyone, stand back! Follow me!" Absolut exclaimed, waving his hands to get the attention of the crowds surrounding what used to be the meeting at the center of the Peace Plaza, and starting to push at the crowds to try to divert them from immediate danger.
The Emperor of the Galaxy NOTES
Bang.
In that one moment, everything changed.
You might think that seeing Radia, the greatest threat to his ambitions so far, slump in front of his eyes with a hole in her forehead would make Polaris happy. He didn't order for an assassination attempt on Radia here, sure, but it would still be welcome, right? No. Because this only meant that now he had an even greater threat to deal with - and it would be Snow and Fridga, the brother and nephew of Lord Glacio.
There. Standing, there. The former in that god damn transformation. The latter partly mechanical, a scar of the battle on Planet Sirup which Polaris did not participate in, but heard much about, and reacted to it with joy. Polaris and Fridga were not exactly... closely tied, but he had met Snow's child back when he was still a member of the Frieza Force. And the two didn't exactly share a good history together, the latter beat the former in a tournament one time, you know, the usual. Nothing relevant at the moment.
Alongside both of them was a third, a dark-skinned Majin, who, judging from the way Fridga ordered him to kill everything in sight, was far from the sharpest crayon in the box. Doesn't make it any less of a threat, the ancestor of the Majins earns the moniker of "one of the greatest threats to the Universe in its history" for a damn good reason.
The battle began with the aforementioned Majin leaping forth and flailing its stretchy arms around like a madman, destroying everything in sight, be it bystanders or nearby statues. Activating his dark crimson aura, Polaris blew away most of the incoming attacks, but one managed to slip through his defenses and clock him straight in the jaw. By the time he recovered from that strike, the Emperor witnessed that a gigantic ball of destruction was heading straight towards the Peace Plaza. Fridga's doing. The trio is not messing around, clearly. The answer here is clear, then. Screw everyone who's staying on the ground or can't fly, Polaris leapt from his position and straight into the sky, where, however, he was countered by an unexpected air slash from Snow himself, which struck him straight in the air and sent him reeling back.
Struck him. But it wasn't enough to kill.
"Mhm..." Polaris suddenly muttered, his head snapping back to place and his eyes focusing straight on the transformed Lord. "Interesting, all this time I imagined that not only I was the only person to have unlocked this strength, but that I'll get to use it against Radia herself... I suppose that's why people say that plans are useless down the line."
There's no point in holding anything back. Snow's power was insurmountable in his base form nor in any of his normal transformations. The only option is to open the lid and let the whole world see what comes out.
Polaris clenched his fists and a gigantic aura suddenly shot into life around him, burning into the sky, appearing less like a cone and more lika a cylinder from a distance. Let it out. Let it all out. Don't hold back even a single ounce.
The gilded armor on Polaris's body popped off from the pressure, revealing the bright Leviathan Mark underneath. A burst of powerful light soon followed - first, as expected, crimson red, then turning into... darkness.
A Heart of Gold, a Heart of Darkness NOTES Once the light faded, Polaris floated in a brand new transformation. Unlike the light blue of his base form of Fifth Form, his bio-suit was now a near-pitch black. When Polaris unlocked this transformation for the first time in his life, he got the option to turn it into any color he wanted, and he figured to do something a little different. Onyx. Onyx Polaris. The Emperor continued to float where he was for a few more seconds, arms stretched out just like immediately after the burst of light, until he finally muttered a few words: " You know, Snow, I'm a little disappointed that you did not try to pull your brother's transformation. Scaling up a mountain-sized opponent and destroying it was so much fun." Alright, less jokes, more fighting. The onyx-colored aura around Polaris's body burst to life yet again, and the Frost Demon charged forward, his fists imbued with ki, and threw a massive barrage of energy-enhanced punches before stretching his hands to the front and releasing a wide burst of energy to try to vaporize Lord Snow all at once. Kabochans under duress had a reflexive adaptation through their evolution that made pivotal moments much more pivotal. Time slowed down for the Emperor, though in reality something had set off his fight or flight instincts on such a primal level that the world was perceived slower. His eyes had shifted from amber to lavender, indicating to any who were intricate with Kabochan biology that he was ready to fight or run as needed. He watched in slow motion as a surge of blue light cut through the air towards Radia, biting a hole through her skull, travelling through the Saiyan woman's cranium and ripping a hole through Kelpo Baas chest. A hand snapped up, pressing his scouter over his eyes, "We've been infiltrated, all targets fire on my lock immediate!" His visored scouter tracking the Emperor's eye movements as he selected Lord Snow, Fridga, and whatever the hell that thing with them was. It looked like an over-sized piece of used chewing gum but its power sent the Kabochan's scouter into a frantic set of readings, "Coca we need help! Radia is down, rain some precise hell on these fucks!" he ordered as he began running towards Colla, "Duria! Get Absolut out of here!" The cacophonous sound of gunfire and energy blasts would fill the air as gunships meant to take Cam and his forces out opened fire on Fridga, Snow, and Pooka. Several prismatic flashes from above could be seen before low-impact shells would begin to cut the plaza to pieces all around the three who were attacking, the precision capabilities of some of the ships in the sky overhead were thankfully very accurate. Anything less could have meant killing delegates and bystanders, that was something the Kabochan did his est to avoid. "Colla! We need you to rally your forces with your father!" Chances are the commander's daughter was just as stupefied that the strongest of her race had been killed with a single energy beam. This was the reality that Carambolis had cautiously feared. This was the animus to his actions; a force of being so strong that it could kill anyone and anything with little to no effort, it could dominate and subjugate and would do so mercilessly. Lord Snow had always fit the bill, how had he and Fridga gotten so strong though? Having spent years in the Frieza force the Emperor knew who these changelings were, though the majin was a complete mystery to him. He supposed it didn't matter, he had three immensely strong foes to fight and that's exactly what he would do. He needed power and he needed it now, luckily being on a world brimming with life was a boon, it made the change that much easier. In what would appear to be a white flash, the Emperor's features would twist, inky symbols and letterings that ironically, only the Majin and Xell would be able to read (Assuming Pooka could read at all) the Characters of Kaioshen letters emblazoned on the Emperor's skin, sharp and pointed tribal markings of unknown origin taking up the spaces between them. The Emperor's eyes whited out beneath his scouter and his hair went from corvidae black to a glossy mother-of-pearl white. His musculature inflated slightly with the sudden boost of energy he was absorbing around him, it fueling his change perfectly. It was then that Majin went on a disorienting and destructive rampage through the crowd, the Emepror was tossed like a ragdoll when the Majin's rubbery arm sent him flying. Disoriented, the Emperor was quick to spring to his feet. He had been able to create a mesh of energy around his body to shield him form impact but the stress fractures on his armor and the sore feeling in his body suggested it hadn't quite worked. Splaying a hand outwards at Snow, Fridga and Pooka, he braced his firing arm with his other free hand before an eruption of golden ki would fire forward in a blast wave. "FIRE EVERYTHING!" The Emperor shouted as he loosed an Ender burst, meant to soften or destroy all of them if it were possible. The onslaught together was liable to do some damage, regardless of power levels. It was only then he noticed Fridga getting ready to, well, kill them all it seemed. "I got it!" He shouted as he leaped forward. He had to take one for the team he supposed, launching himself directly at the Nova ball attack that was coming straight for them. The attack enveloped the Kabochan, it was akin to walking into a fireball. The end of the Emperor's hair singed, his skin, muscles, every part of his being protested as the oncoming attack tried and failed to disintegrate the Kabochan outright. It ground against his outstretched arms and chest. Let it never be said that the Emperor of Kabocha was not a man of might. After a several second struggle, the orb stopped moving, it had expended much of its energy trying to overpower the Emperor and in doing so it lost much of its momentum. Enough that the Emperor would reaffirm his grip on the energy, spinning around like an olympic shot-put athlete, the nova ball twisting around as its remaining momentum along with the Emperor's force redirected it right back at Fridga, "SEE YOU IN HELL!" he called towards the Changeling. Who knows? Maybe he could finish what was started and actually kill the Changeling. Someone had tried and couldn't finish the job, a mistake he surely wouldn't make given the chance. From above fight pilot ships started pouring down onto the surface of the world, ready to engage. A squadron of five sleek, silver ships came flying in overhead, firing on their Emperor's current target his scouter had locked on to, energy beam fire cutting like a knife towards the little mecha-horror. One second Radia was talking and Xell was half-listening while sipping his red wine, the next a beam of energy cut across his line of sight. His eyes went wide and he spit his drink all over the table. "What the f--"Radia fell forward onto the table, smoke drifting from the new hole in her head. Kelpo Baas slumped in his chair, smoke pouring out of a smoldering wound in his chest. Xell was seated between them on one side of the table where they were at opposing ends of the circle. He jumped out of his chair, still a bit in shock at the turn of events. Red eyes darted around as he searched for the perpetrator. The crowd that had gathered was in panic. Suddenly a huge power signature exploded at the other end of the plaza. It knocked whole groups of bystanders away and they started charging the Kai and the others at the table. Looking past the oncoming panicked horde, Xell caught sight of the three interlopers. Cam and Polaris snapped into action, somehow less shaken than Xell had been. Kabochan gunships flew in and fired at the new enemies. Cam's people started diverting the crowd away from the immediate danger, but it was too late. One of the three leaped into action at the order of his master. The blonde Shinjin recognized him instantly. Pooka. He had fought the crazy Majin before back when Dende died. Like Polaris and Cam, Xell transformed into a more powerful state. He unlocked the first seal on his bound form. His Genesis Form was dangerous but it was necessary. Crimson bolts of electric energy jumped off of him. He did his best to tame them so any bystanders wouldn't get hurt. Pooka tripled in size while in the air and then landed on top of those around the table. The whirlwind of red lightning energy around his body buffered most of the damage from the landing as well as the next attack Pooka used which was to spin like a top and flail his limbs around. While everything was being torn apart by the destruction, Xell was able to stand his ground thanks to his transformation. It was chaos. He couldn't even move to try and save anyone. People were dying left and right. Suddenly the huge Majin retreated away as a huge energy ball began to grow up in the sky. Xell looked up, shielding his eyes from the brightness of it. Whoever was up there hurled the thing once it got big enough. Cam launched up at it and somehow managed to take the brunt of the blast and hurl it back at whoever launched it. Xell wouldn't waste the opportunity and decided to back him up while Polaris dealt with the bigger power level. The Kai lowered, bending his knees slightly before launching himself up into the air. He soared past Carambolis and held his hand out, summoning his most powerful weapon, Ea. As the energy ball was launched back at Fridga, Xell pointed Ea at it and unleashed it's mighty whirlwind. His intention was to boost the attack's damage. All the while he gestured with his free hand, summoning Enki, the Star of Destruction. A giant golden energy spear formed in orbit and fell down to the planet, aimed at Fridga but large enough to hit him and one or two of the others. Screams of panic and utter dismay rang through the Peace Accords area. If one were to guess by sound alone, one might think the planet’s end was near. Gallius stared at the dead body of Radia with wide, confused eyes, which slowly shifted into fiery rage. Kelpo was indeed dead as well which only further fueled the Knight King’s rage. These were meant to be Peace Accords. Not only had they resulted in nothing more being done, indeed they seemed to spawn more animosity than peace, but now… Now Radia was dead. If these people could kill Radia so easily, it was certain they could kill any one of the delegates here. If these freaks managed to get the upper hand, the very fabric of Galactic Government could unravel. Power voids would open and consume the innocent masses in violent conquest for dominance. He looked to the remaining delegates, moments ago he intensely disliked aside from one or two. Now, they would have to be brothers in arms. Each rose to the challenge to fight this threat. But Gallius didn’t hold such strength. As the Majin grew to it’s enourmous size, Gallius would quickly jump to the side and grab Lady Gravei. Various pieces of rubble would pelt off his armor as he rolled out of the chaotic messed the Majin wrought. Only a few large pieces managed to cause any significant damage. Gallius would reach where his Honor Guard had stood watch. Many asked what was happening or whether to retreat. Gallius offered Gravei a hand to help her up before turning to his Knights. “Gather as many peepel as ye can, thys area be a ded zone, even ta planet tys at rysk. Get them to any shyps ye can, if they can survyve in spase, get them thar” Gallius would turn back to see the utter mayhem of the Majin, each of these Imperial leaders throwing large and flashy attacks into the air, as if trying to one up each other with the amount of Collateral Damage they could cause. He gave a frustrated sigh before turning back to his Knights. “I shall try ta safe as many delegets as possyble” He would summon his Golden Steed before bursting once more into the breach. Gallius tried his best to avoid the center conflict of each leader whilst looking for any survivors among the wreckage. He would shout “Look fer ta golden lyte!” just incase any of them were lost or in serious need of help. Each person he managed to get he would quickly cart back to the outskirts where his Knights attempted to commandeer ships for evacuation. He had managed only a dozen or so before his fellow leaders finally began their true onslaught. Gallius only hoped that any trapped within could escape.
