The moment that Colla shook off her grief and frustration, was a moment too late. She left Queen Radia's corpse in a safe place, taking to the sky. Her fuschia aura burned around her like a blazing comet as she flew along, the sprawling metropolis of Abbayor's Imperial City rolling past her. A thick pillar of black smoke darkened the horizon with the hellish orange glow of flames. As she got closer she hear the thunderous booming of conflict and averted her eyes from the immense bursts of energy and radiance. Surging forward with greater speed, she gritted her teeth against the undulating waves of pressure of titanic power levels. She skirted around flying rubble, but still was pelted with loose debris, cutting open crimson specks on her face and forearms. The first power level she felt disappear was Polaris's. That alone sent a shiver of fear down her spine. And then Cam. Gone. "No!" Gritting her teeth she pushed her aura out and bolted through the ash clogged air, which swirled and parted ways for her. Blue and pink illumination flickered across her field of vision. She jerked hard to the left, avoiding a huge chunk from a broken statue thrown as a side effect of the majin's assault. She found an outcropping, the tangled remains of what had once been the Peace Plaza's shopping center. There she landed on a bent steel support strut and caught her breath. A mass of swirling crimson energy burst forth across the chasm that had served as the plaza and she watched as both Lord Snow and Fridga were laid to waste, defeated. Broken and battered, the blonde haired warrior known as Xell entrapped them in magical chains and disappeared through a rippling portal of honey light. She didn't know what to say, or even what to do. Both her ebony irises searched the scene, until she found Cam sitting in a hole in the wall, as though it his throne. In a flicker of motion, she appeared beside him. Fishing into her armor, she pulled out a bio-med injection and stabbed it into his chest. But, she didn't realize that the light had already gone out, that he was dead. "Cam!" She shook him. "Dammit... Cam. Wake. Up." A thrumming sound made her head snap to the side. Polaris's massive warship was looming over head as it moved into a defensive position. From the lower hangar she saw fighter ships deploy, along with a platoon of Ultramarines--dropping down into the battlefield. "Fuck. The Empire is here." She peeled Cam's twisted and broken body out of the hole and slung it over her shoulder. Blood flowed out of his gruesome wounds and down front of her armor, splashing onto the dust laden duracrete. "I'll get you out of here, Cam. I'm sorry." She had two corpses to deliver this day it seemed. One to her New Sadla and the other to Kabocha. She would make sure that Cam's body found its proper resting spot. She wouldn't leave it. Not the man she had intended to marry. "I'm sorry."
