He stared up at the night sky, ships and stars intermingling among the blackness of the void. It had been about a week since he learned the planet he had been stranded on was earth. It was also around that time that he reached the outskirts of North City. It was walled off, barbed wire, advanced tech defenses, they spared no expense. He had only a glimpse of the ruins before getting caught by the guards. He didn't want to kill such weaklings, nor did he want to be revealed as an Illegal alien on the planet. The last thing he needed was a manhunt. Somehow he managed to evade all planetary defenses and sensors upon landing. Maybe it was a good thing that tiny demoness had damaged his Pod to such an extent. After a few minutes of thinking, He had decided to try and Don the attire of these Earthlings. He didn't need any unwanted attention from the populace, being a Saiyan was already enough to get a few looks. Okata had managed to snag a jacket and jeans to wear over his undergarments. His armor from before had all but been destroyed, all that remained aside from the under suit were the gloves and boots. He looked like an idiot, but at least it would keep him inconspicuous. Now He needed to find a way to escape this wretched planet. About an hour of walking led him to a popular night club around the area. Legally leaving the planet via ship would be impossible. He was technically dead, A criminal, and an Illegal alien all wrapped into one package. All that he was missing was the bow. These nightclubs could serve as a great way to find less than legal means of transport. Ship captains would usually stop here so their crews could recuperate from the long voyages or mining operations. All he needed was a willing Captain that he could dupe. He entered into the club through the back entrance, not wanting to stand in that insufferable line any longer. He did have to snap the necks of a few bouncers but they were of no consequence. The booming music hit him almost instantly, it almost made his ears ring. Aside from the liquor why would anyone ever want to come to such an obnoxious place? You could get as much fun if not more in an arena. “Speaking of liquor…” Okata murmured to himself before making his way to the bar. He was not graceful through the ground, nearly knocking down a few people on his way. He ordered the strongest liquor that an Earthling could handle. He did have to blend in after all and he doubted they would have any good Saiyan liquor. The bartender came back after a few minutes with a glowing blue glass. He sat and drank, observing his surroundings for anyone of interest. Word count 484 Kavra

It was no secret that demons fed off the inhibitions of mortals. Off their shoved under the rug thoughts and emotions, that which left them ashamed and fearful. But, it was also quite possible that the hunger for such feelings came from a sense of kinship to it. For certainly now, Kavra felt at home in the throngs of people seeking only company tonight. The terror that had ravaged so many earth cities brought a deep unsettling fog over most minds, a fog that many were able to dispel with company and fruity drinks. And that's just what this establishment contained in boatloads. Lonely people making bad decisions, and desperate people trying to make worse ones. And a demon like the Kazabada? He had a nose for that sort of person.
He was as popular as he had ever been before, his blue skinned form easily disguised by large baggy earth clothes. It didn't make him look human, but the covering of horns and his telltale Other World clothing made him seem a stronger candidate for a Xeno immigrant on a travelling visa than a creature from the otherside. It did also help that he had become quite adept in hiding his energy signature, something he once seemed to have such a trouble with before his horns rose through. Alot of things had changed since those poked up and out on his scalp, and the return to the Demon Realm had helped those changes flourish. But here in the human world, old habits bubbled upward again, and his socialite nature saw him as the arm of many different club patrons. Each arm was chosen carefully, links in the chain that would lead him to an eventual destination. The destination being a particular slumped and brooding Saiyan at the bar.
Not that he knew that the man was a Saiyan when he sidled up next to him, just that his posture gave away a tension of waiting and anticipation, and the muted scent of a hunt. Although, not a very sporting hunt, seeing as how any ambition of it was muted beneath the alcohol he had just been delivered.
"Do you have any idea how much of that swill you'll have to drink to get yourself anywhere close to face down in some kind of puddle? Sweetheart, this is a nightclub, people drink to dance. It's not some ragged downtown bar where you drink with the hopes of finding a knife in your stomach by the end of the night. People here are looking to get pierced in all other sorts of ways. I think...." And suddenly his bright drink wasn't the only blue thing resting on the counter. The demon skipped seats, and simply sat in front of him with little care for how the bartender might react.
"Not that I think you're one so easily bogged down by spirits. Even the hardiest drinks, whose only intent is to drown sorrow and memory.... koo, koo, kooo...", a long nail rested against his cerulean lips, a padlock against a spreading smile. "I think we have that in common, you big man."

Okata had only a sip of the drink before setting it aside. He felt a presence that seemed somewhat familiar. Similar to that Majin freak he had fought earlier. It turned his stomach slightly. Okata turned just in time to see a man stand beside him. The man was strangely dressed, baggy clothing, head coverings. And he had a strange blue tint to his skin. Some kind of Xeno perhaps, yet something still felt strange about him. It felt somewhat sinister. A strange thing to feel for someone as ruthless as Okata. He would need to tread carefully.
The man began to speak of sin and vice, this placed reeked of it. Mention of a ragged bar reminded Okata of the last bar he was in. A few too many drinks led to quite a lot of death. He slid his drink away from him. The man hopped onto the counter and continued to speak. The bartender seemed angry at first, adjusting his attitude once he realized who he was speaking to.
What he had said about drinking, it stuck with him. If it wasn't for the drink Okata wouldn't be in this situation. He was weak when it came to Alcohol, even with that one sip he felt slightly more heavy handed. The more he thought of it the more angry he got. He despised his weaknesses. He looked at the man with little emotion showing. The Xeno tapped his lip confidently. All it made Okata think was how easy punching him in the face would be.
“We have little in common, Xeno. You are more akin to a snake than I” Growled Okata. “The only vice I care about is that of battle. Alcohol just helps me kill more efficiently. You may float along and seduce these weak minded fools as much as you want, but I am not as easily swayed. Unless you have a point I would suggest leaving before you get hurt” Okata had donned a scowl. He was hungry, tired, and bored beyond imagining. He didn't need this Xeno to cause him more trouble.
The music was beginning to ramp up. Lights flashed over as the music bass began to drop. The Xeno looked like a ghost as the light shined on him. Perhaps coming here was a mistake.

He quirked a dark blue brow, revealing the crimson glint that burned like an ember in the shadows it moved. The eyes themselves were golden, not that you could tell in the shifting atmosphere of the night clubs spectrum. "Xeno? You're a Xeno yourself you know. Far from native to this rock." A nail drifted over the man, hovering around some indentations and recesses caused by a stifled mass in his jacket.
"Now, I'm no expert in human anatomy, but I don't think they have those... whatever it is little limb you're keeping tucked away in your coat there." Confidence was surging in the blue demon, and that was revealed quite plainly when he scooped up the mans drink right from under him and just powered it down. But, if the saiyan expected his current evening companion to sip or gulp, he would be quite surprised at the proper outcome. That being a long and incredibly flexible tongue unfurling from Kavra's mouth and filling the dimensions of the glass like a sponge. It took only a moment for it to be drawn back, reeling back into his mouth like a fishing line.
An empty glass was slid the mans way, spindling on its base before finding balance.
"And see, I barely feel a thing.... koo, koo... koo...", he resists the urge to belch loudly, but a small gasp of air does make it past his lips, only to be blown over Okata's head in a stream of air sure to ruffle a few of those rigid saiyan hairs.
"You didn't need that anyway, muffin, you look like you're about to drop dead. Poor thing... heheh....", he went about settling in more comfortably on his countertop throne, and looked down on the barstool commoner beneath him, as if his eyes might draw some form of extra knowledge from his face, beneath the evershifting spectrum of light that the club continued to expose them to.
"So... what I want you to do, you wild haired vagabond.... order a meal. Lets move to a booth... and from there you can tell me what happened, hm?" He leaned over, invasive to be sure, but it was not intimate. He leaned over like an animal inspects a corpse. To make sure its dead. "Tell me what happened to the energy signatures out back. They vanished, right before you came in. Really quite a coincidence. If I weren't so attentive, I may not have noticed, small as they were. But... I did. What was so important about coming in here.... you had to kill for it?"

Okata sighed. He would of preferred to keep being a Saiyan hidden. But if it was that obvious then he might as not hide it. The Saiyan opened his jacket and let his tail free, it stretched out as though it was happy to be free. As the man began to do...whatever he did to Okata's drink, his face twisted into disgust. Okata may be a Xeno, but compared to this thing he might as well been a full blooded human. The man let out a stifled belch and blew it towards Okata.
The man suggested that he order some food. There was one thing Okata could agree with. He would turn to the Barkeep and state “Get me whatever food you have available-”
He stopped dead at the mention of the slain Bouncers. The Saiyan had enough troubles with the law as it was. He didn't need that Information released. “And send the food there...” he would point towards a booth. His anger was obvious.
The Saiyan sat down, slouched with his elbows on the table. He noticed the man slithered through the crowd with relative ease. Whoever this man was, He was right at home in this club.
“First off” Okata stated as the man sat down. “You do not tell anyone about this. I have enough trouble as it is. The only reason I'm here is so I can find a captain to take me off this rotten piece of junk. Nothing more, nothing less. They” He pointed towards the backdoor “Got in my way when I was trying to enter. Any other questions? Because if not, I'm eating and leaving”

“Get me whatever food you have available-”
The way that the saiyan stopped dead in his tracks almost sent a shiver up Kavra's spine. It wasn't everyday that you were able to so cleanly nail a persons hand to the table with words, but the Kazabada did find himself in the position of hammer more often than most. Something about paying attention, and something else about having a demons knack for such things. "Uhuehuehue..." He rolled out the oddly shaped laughter as he gave the bartender a confident wink. The man behind the bar hadn't heard Kavra's incriminating statements, and as far as he was concerned, this wink only informed him that whatever Okata was ordering? It was for Kavra.
And it was likely possible that Okata was walking a well worn path here... Kavra did frequent this place more often than most.
Kazabada took his time making his way towards Okata, as it was obvious where the power currently lay in this dynamic. He could take all the time he needed, waltzing through the crowd, and slowly, almost sensually, sliding into the booth. He was loving it. Something base and demonic, just watching someone else squirm... or in Okata's case: simmer with indignation.
“First Off: You do not tell anyone about this. I have enough trouble as it is. The only reason I'm here is so I can find a captain to take me off this rotten piece of junk. Nothing more, nothing less. They got in my way when I was trying to enter. Any other questions? Because if not, I'm eating and leaving”
Kavra paid little attention to Okata until the food arrived, the words washing over the blue man, and settling around him. Until he could pick through them, just like his clawed hands were currently picking through Okata's plate of food, shredding and pulling away morsel after morsel into the insatiable maw of the demon.
"What makes you think, tailypo, that you have any feet to stand on, talking to me?" The red glow that festered within those shadow eyes was apparent, now that the shadows of the booth seat shouldered them from much of the shifting hues of color that spread from the center of the club. "What makes you think... that I'm just some bumbling boytoy club junkie who's just barreling through this conversation like a buffoon? You are a brute... sir. An absolute slugger. Killing those men, and you didn't even need to! With your power you could have just incapacitated them. But you killed them. It's heartless, you're a fiend of the highest order! Koo koo koo! You lack finesse of any kind, and its apparent by the way you blunder around."
He looked at him, awaiting a reaction, but only so he could cut off the man when he began to speak, if he did. If not? He would just continue after a few moments. "What makes you think.... you get to walk away from this? Hm? I could be a member of that intergalactic, or even earthly policing force that you so fear, couldn't I?" He leaned over, his hands forming a cradle in which his head rocked lazily back and forth. It was something a child would do.
"What makes you think that your actions, don't have consequences?" A toothless dark smile was all that awaited Okata now. And, he would now be given his chance to speak.

Okata had managed to snag some food from the demon before he could scarf it down. This freak was more ravenous than a Saiyan… Upon finishing what he could, the Saiyan slightly burped, a small flame escaping from his mouth. “Well that's new” Okata murmured as the Xeno continued speaking. As Kavra finish Okata said with an angry tone “Incapacitation leads to witnesses and I gave them a cha-”
“What makes you think.... you get to walk away from this? Hm? I could be a member of that intergalactic, or even earthly policing force that you so fear, couldn't I?” When he finished his interruption, he looked at Okata like a child. The interruption just made Okata fume even more. He could feel something burning in his stomach, only growing more and more powerful as he grew enraged. “I've met plenty of Galactic Patrol members. I've killed many of them” He leaned forward with fire in his eyes “I've been killed by them before. You are most certainly not one. You wouldn't even match up to one of these puny Earth Police officers. You are a worm with the guise of a snake and I would rather burn this whole place to the ground before listening to anymore of your jests. At least I would die knowing I have killed the most disrespectful creature I have had the displeasure to come across. So unless you have anything further, Or want to test me, I would suggest leaving” He growled the last statement like an angry dog.
Okata sat back, attempting to calm his anger. He really felt as if he could kill this man with the very hatred bubbling up from within. “Go ahead. Tell someone about what happened. I take it you've never seen a suicidal Saiyan who is willing to kill as many people with him as he can. It's not a very pretty sight” He would pause and grab a remainder of food, scarfing it down in a second. He would burp up some smoke. “And don't touch my damn food again. Or your arm will be my next meal” Some might see it as a joke, but it was a serious threat coming from a Saiyan.

If Kavra was intimidated in any way by Okata's attitude and quite plain threat on the demons health, he didn't show it. He didn't show it when he gleefully tittered to himself like a young girl, and he didn't show it when he peeled off another long strand of meat from whatever undisclosed roast animal it was that Okata had ordered. "Oh Tailypo, you're really right on the money! I am not part of any regulatory force that you know or have any knowledge of! That is true, koo, koo, koo... And! You also guessed exactly what makes me different from them! You could kill them, couldn't you Taily? And they killed you. There's the difference! You couldn't kill me. And I haven't killed you yet." He was immensely grave for a moment, but his own gleeful nature turned against him and he drew from his solemn visage first a 'cute' little pout, and then what amounted to a charming grin in any situation but this.
Suddenly, with a few twitches of his smile widening, he lifted up in the air the remaining scrap of food that he hadn't chopped off, and wiggled it above Okata's head. He expected that the man's eyes would follow it, if for no reason other than indignation and a sense of distaste for the entire situation.
"But..." He continued wiggling, as if he was trying to play with a cat who hungered for dinner table food. "I do not hate you Tailypo! In fact, koo, koo, koo.... I *like* you." His smile turned a few shades more genuine, and his shadowed eyes leaned forward to peer into Okata's. It was up to the saiyan if he could stand to make eye contact. At the very least, he finally slid the last piece of meat slowly through his lips, keeping that eye contact. But, it was no longer being dangled in such a carefree and mocking manner.
"I admire your brutality, and she shadows of strength that I surely see appearing in you. I am almost.... enraptured with the possibilities of the two of us. Here and now. I will make you an offer, Tailypo. It is up to you if you are wise enough to take it. I will teach you finesse, I will teach you to work with a gentler hand, and I will provide you a place on my ship. I am leaving this planet soon, for a time. To gather myself, and then I shall return to settle my ambition. So your options are thus: Join me. Learn to be less of raging and feral mutt. Learn to be a majestic and terrifying force of nature. Find your way off of this planet.... or stay here and remain a foolish and rotten criminal. Your choice."
Patiently he waited like a statue, the only sign of life or movement was the occasional flickering of a snake like tongue, and the catch of light on eyes that slowly dragged themselves across Okata's features. Back, and forth.

As Kavra reached for his food, the Saiyan would twitch. Luckily he had managed to calm himself enough to not make good on his threat. Why did this creature hold such an interest in him? Was he simply acting the part of a feline, toying with it’s prey before attacking, or was it genuine interest? Kavra would lift the slice of roast above his head. His eyes never broke contact, brow furrowing even more in anger at this indignant action. This creature was sickening. Kavra would start wiggling it, causing Okata’s fury to grow even greater. The once slight burn he felt in his chest started to grow more and more painful. Like a pool of magma was starting to form.
"I do not hate you Tailypo! In fact, koo, koo, koo.... I *like* you." Said Kavra, staring him down as if to intimidate. Okata would not flinch. Even with his low power level and brashness, he would never let his fear show, if he hand any to begin with. Intimidation was worthless and should be used on pathetic weak minded fools. Then, the creature said something that surprised Okata. Kavra said that he enjoyed his brutality… He offered him a chance to work with him, even a place on his ship? ‘This thing owns a ship?’ thought Okata skeptically. It seemed this thing would be his only chance off the planet. Okata looked down and pondered, still holding his scowl.
“Do not bother with teaching me anything with the word ‘Gentle’ in it. I am a warrior, not a diplomat. I am willing to work with you if it gets me off this planet. Under two conditions, no more of these stupid mind games” He would pause and think. “And tell me what the hell you are. You are like no Xeno I have seen. You feel more like a spirit from the afterlife. Other then that, so long as I get off this rock, I am fully willing to work with you. I am not, however, working for you. I am not a slave, Minion, or whatever the hell else you would call me in your incessant attempts to further my anger. We would be partners. Nothing more and nothing less” He would hold out a gloved hand for a handshake. “Deal?”

"I do not see you as some diplomat, stuffed into a pleasing suit and made to dance for the amusement of those whose opinions matter even a sliver. I see you as a killing tool, Tailypo. I just want you to know the difference between breaking the door, and breaking the lock. Eehhehe?" He chuckles, licking whatever flakes of flavor may remain from his meal off of his blue fingers. He was having a wonderful time, truly. It was his first time since his return from the demon realm that he had found anyone he even considered almost worthwhile as some form of ally or confidant. And it was a most welcome change of pace to be certain. As much as he was a slave to pleasures and distraction as any demon, it never captured his heart like the rising of ambition did. And currently this ambition did continue to rise with a fury.
"You are right of course, Tailypo. I am not a 'xeno'. I'm not from this world, or any world. I am a demon. A creature rejected from the light of the true world, kept in a hole beneath the universe for eons. But, I do intend to change that, and you... will be an excellent instrument of that will. We can help eachother, and I will supply you with your resources, if you will stand by my dream."
He smiles sweetly, offering a clawed hand for Okata to shake. If the saiyan can stand it of course.
"And it goes without saying, my birth is a matter of utmost secrecy! I can't be discovered you know.... the Shinjin don't take kindly to my sort....koo, koo, koo."

A demon… An actual demon. Okata had been to the otherworld before, but never wandered far enough to encounter one. He had, however, felt some kind of dark presence below. Maybe making a deal with a demon wasn't the best idea. But even if this thing was The Devil itself, it wouldn't change the fact that he was right. If Okata stayed here he would just rot on the planet. Polaris would gather his forces and most likely invade Earth, Okata and the rest of his Saiyan brothers would be the first to go. No, He had to train. He had to get off this planet. Okata would shake the demon's hand and wipe off the salvia on the seat next to him. “We can leave tomorrow. I've got a few more things to do before” He would stifle a belch, smoke escaping his mouth. In truth Okata just wanted some fresh air. And to be left alone by this Demon. He would have to put up with him for Kai knows how long, might as well snag some peace. Okata stood and began heading towards the door before pausing. He would turn to the demon, ensuring that he was close enough to not be heard. “And no demon marks” He said sternly before continuing on his way out.
