Mitra, once a desolate and insignificant moon, now a mechanical paradise and one of the central Imperial Planets. One of the few things that the Pseudo Empire ever made that actually impressed Creed. What didn’t impress him, however, was the lackluster security measures they had against hacking. It took around two minutes to find the files he needed. Lilith Nevermore was her name. No known occupation, but considered an asset and ally to the Empire. The girl had showed potential during their previous spar, even if she barely harmed Creed. Currently he was seeking people with connections to the larger factions, and possibly allying with them. They could serve as a useful source of information, especially if they believed Creed would help their pitiful kingdoms. After checking her Castle, he had found a strange energy signature. Scans from around the universe showed these signatures were emissions from the Nanomachines which helped in the terraforming of Mitra. They were heavily concentrated in the basement and near a strange circular object which Creed didn’t bother to mess with. He floated just above a city scape, tracing her previously noted power level to this general area. After following the trail, he would eventually be led to an area just outside the city. Some sort of barren field which was never terraformed. Probably a dumping ground for the mineral and energy wastes which the large machines no doubt produced in excess. There seemed to be more than one power level amongst the wastes, hopefully they wouldn't be an issue. Among the ash fields a small, robed figure dug around feverishly. ...Well, of course the esteemed Lady Nevermore would never actually sully her hands, but the intent was the same. Her eyes and hands were bathed in a blue glow as the ruined earth around her upturned itself. Where is it...?! Where, where, where?! Panic and frustration bubbled in the cauldron of her mind. She hadn’t come all this way for fun, you see. Some fool of a janitor had mistaken a potion experiment left simmering for hazardous waste. The nerve! After a rather eventful morning of storming around Mitra, she had finally tracked her precious work all the way here. Now, if she could just find her instruments...
Lilith’s careful focus was rudely crushed by a jarring sound. She glanced upwards to see an unfortunately familiar figure hovering and hollering like a fool. Oh she remembered that armor all too well... It was the same tin can who had insulted and assaulted her. Defiled her body and her property. Uncouth savage. The crimson glare narrowed at the disrespectful demand. If it didn’t begin with him apologizing on his knees, then she wasn’t interested whatever he wanted to speak about. And from what she had learned during their previous encounter... Not likely.
Briefly the noblewoman was tempted to call the Empire’s guards and have the metal man arrested for trespassing. But then again... Trespassing on what exactly? A literal dump? The guards would laugh themselves breathless... So instead the girl shook her head and decided to ignore the irritating man completely. The ethereal glow appeared again and the dirt continued to churn. She could sense traces of her magic somewhere around here... Focusing on the task, she tried to shut out other sights, sounds and sensations. Especially the annoying ones. If she got lucky, perhaps the noise would attract some unwanted attention and the potential problems would solve each other.

A portal snapped to existence, an oval shaped magenta tear through the very fabric of reality. Three figures stepped through, a small one followed by two of increasing stature. With a wave of the blue-skinned woman's hand, the portal collapsed and disappeared. The corner of Zabra's lips twisted in an irritated sneer, peering across the barren wastes at the maelstrom of activity. "Lady Nevermore... I should have known. That foul witch's magic is like poison, even in such a filthy place." There was more than a hint of jealousy to her tone. "How the Empire could ever employ her is beyond me." "Shall we deal with these two?" said Celebri. He was a freak of a Namekian, born off world in the fringe dredges of the galaxy. Two of his arms folded before him, the other two flexing and stretching as if preparing for a fight. "It won't take too long." "It's not like you two to be so eager for a fight." He swished his tail in an absent minded manner, floating just in front of the other two as they observed the mechanical man and the witch have some sort of exchange. "Nor is it my prerogative to rush into one." Both fell silent. "Head back to the ship. Monitor my position from there." Celebri grunted his approval, though Zabra drifted forward, mouth agape in clear surprise. "But m-my lord—" "I've lived for nearly two centuries. You should know by now I would never so casually risk my own life. Back to the ship, Zabra. That is an order." The demoness glared daggers at the Earth witch once more before snapping her fingers. She and Celebri disappeared in flash of magenta hued magic. Leaving Brisk there alone, hands remaining idly behind his back as he floated, observing the scene before him. In truth, he was curious about this exchange. Whether or not he stepped in to intervene depended on his level of interest. Either way, he would need to eject these two. Silence. Well, her voice was silent. Her power level sang like a bell. Sensors put her around a mile away, on the surface. Creed floated over to the area with his arms crossed. The winds would begin to pick up, to be expected from the sheer desolation of this area. Ash would ping off his armor as he lowered himself, his Cloak slightly flickering. His Emerald eyes would focus on her as he finally landing on the ground with a slight crunch. He stepped slowly over to her, pointing a finger out. Suddenly a beam of emerald energy would scorch the ash in front of her, turning it to glass. “I believe I asked for your attention, Lilith. But I guess you were too busy digging in the ashes like a peasant. Perhaps you’re more of a child than I thought” The wind hit hard this time, causing his cloak to flitter to his right. “I thought I had already taught you to respect your superiors once before, but I guess you forgot. Well, let this be a new learning opportunity then, one without violence. I work with a person who is interested in your set of skills. Seeing the ash turn to glass barely fazed Lilith. She simply lifted her usual unimpressed glare towards the rude man. Despite the imminent danger, she immediately snapped at his word choice. "That’s Lady Nevermore to you." She was much too annoyed to wonder how the stranger even knew her name. They hadn’t really introduced themselves during their last encounter... Since the armored intruder stole all her attention, she completely missed the other pairs of eyes spying the situation.
While the arrogant assaulter talked, the wicked woman uttered a quiet spell. "From Hell’s heart I summon thee..." Sparks scratched an infernal symbol in the air. A swirling portal formed behind her. "Come forth, thunder beast, Raiju." The portal flashed. Suddenly she was accompanied by an enormous blue wolf with streaks of white decorating its wildly spiking fur. Stepping defensively in front of the girl, the beast bared its fangs and let out rumbling growl reminiscent of approaching thunder. Eight electric orbs appeared in a ring around it. The air crackled with static.
Peeking from behind the bodyguard, the little witch scoffed at the metal man’s claims. "Hmph, you are as delusional as you are violent, barbarian." She didn’t believe for a second that the imposing stranger was here for business. In fact, she fully expected him to start swinging any moment now. "Even if you were superior, which you are not by the way, you have done nothing worthy of respect." She was the type who believed respect was earned through impressive feats. And not by... Well... "After vandalizing my property, you tried to murder me in cold blood." Yes, that’s exactly how it went. No, she was definitely not exaggerating. At all.
Shadows shifted at Lilith’s feet. Her nose wrinkled and glare narrowed. "And now you dare ask for a price as if I’m some common harlot. Despicable." While her financial situation may have been unfortunate at the moment, money couldn’t buy her services. Hand on her hip, she aimed a sudden point at the metal man. "You disgust me. Begone." Literal sparks had begun to fly. Brisk wasn't sure what the armor suited man said to Lady Nevermore, but it struck a foul note with a witch Brisk often found given to a naturally sour disposition. Lightning flashed, bright enough to harm his eyes as Brisk raised an arm to shield them. This wasn't his fight. It wasn't even his prerogative. He'd come out of pure curiosity when Zabra had sensed the growing malevolent magic. It seemed utterly foolish to involve himself in such a bitter spat. Yet it also seemed advantageous. He wasn't quite sure about the iron clad warrior, but Lilith was a volatile force of nature. Prone to turn on him any day, despite the fact both were loyal to the Empire. Brisk had plans that had already began to spin into fruition. Siding with either seemed a poor choice on his part, but even if he and Lilith played for the same team, it wasn't as if she wielded any influence that could help further his ambitions. Yet still... she seemed the safer bet. He raised a hand, palm facing outward. Red energy sparked to life an inch from his palm. It grew as he fed his ki into it, growing larger and larger, until it grew even larger than himself. It would no doubt draw the attention of the other two. Having made his choice, the orb launched itself forward, spiraling through the air on a deadly collision course with the armored assailant! tag: Andrew C. It seemed she had an even larger head than Creed himself. Oh well, he asked nicely this time. Creed would look at the strange Wolf-like creature which was surrounded by electricity. Creed simply crossed his arms and remained steadfast in his stance. As if a over sized dog would even give Creed a tinge of fear. “Lady? I’m sorry to say Lilith, but the only thing close to a Lady that I see is that bitch in front of you” As the lightning bolt burst towards him, A drone would quickly fly from underneath his cloak, taking the bolt and exploding. “As I proved last time, I am superior to you in every sense of the word. For all I care, you are a harlot” Creed slowly started walking towards her, reaching up at his cloak and unclipping it from the armor. It would slowly float away thanks to the numerous drones hidden within. “You underestimated me during our last bout, and it cost you dearly. If you were smart, I’d suggest not angering me anymore than you already have” Slowly, a strange blue aura would begin to surround the uncloaked Creed. He would raise his hand and fire two beams at her, aimed at non-vital places. He still wished to work with her despite her insufferable nature, yet he couldn’t do that if she was dead. After the volley of beams were fired, Creed’s sensors would suddenly sound off an alarm. It seemed the other Power level couldn’t help but interfere. Creed would turn to face the new threat, ignoring Lilith for the most part. If she tried anything, he’d know before any damage could be dealt. The large orb which the assailant formed seemed to be bursting with Ki. It was volatile, scorching the already burnt ground as it flew towards him. Suddenly, his Emerald eyes would burst with a Sapphire blue as he started walking towards the new opponent and their impending attack. It seemed to be a Frost Demon, small power level. How Quaint. The sphere would impact Creed directly. It would be instantly consumed in a blinding burst of power. As the light died down, Creed’s armor would be completely shifted in form. He now stood a towering 10ft, armor formed over the once slim suit of armor. Creed looked down at the frost demon as blades burst from his forearms. “Are you sure you’re wanting to attack me, Frost Demon? I do not wish for Lilith to die, but I have no qualms with killing you. Lilith’s eye twitched. Her sharp teeth gritted. Like a grindstone scraping against her nerves, the insults ate away her patience. Not that there was much of it left anyway. For someone acting so high and mighty, this atrocious man had no sense of proper manners. In response to the attack, her bodyguard zipped between her and the beams. With a crack of lightning they were deflected and barely ruffled the girl’s clothes. However, one passed so close that old memories came creeping back. Fear slowed every motion. When the armored assailant dared to turn his attention away, the young noble gathered her wits. She would not let this insolence go unpunished. "I call upon the ancient forces of darkness. Let suffering sustain me and pain empower me... Might of Malice." Though the incantation was lengthy, the effects were rather subtle. Violet wisps gently drifted around her frail frame. Eyes shining, she glared up at the towering man. Dark tones slithered past her lips. "Now... Just who is underestimating whom, I wonder...?" It was hard to sound threatening when both of them knew what happened last time, but she was trying her best.
Still hiding behind the beast, Lilith peered at the new arrival. Ah, that form and color... It was... hm... B... B... Brisk, yes? Naturally she had done her homework on Empire’s assets. At least when it came to the races that interested her. It was unexpected to see a ranked member all the way here... But not unpleasant. She scoffed mockingly at the metal man’s threat. "Hmph, do you honestly expect an esteemed Frost Demon to heed such outlandish demands?" Her voice chimed across the ashen field like a silver bell. Light, clear and so very cold. "Sir Brisk, isn’t it? Are you going to let this clattering tin can speak to you so rudely?" Slyly she tugged the strings for a reaction...
Seeking to create a distraction, the wicked woman voiced an incantation. "Share my suffering… Cursed Tome." An ancient book with a midnight black cover appeared to hover above her shoulder. The pages fluttered open. Out shot a violet bolt. It was unavoidable, inflicting the same crushing slowness upon the metal man that plagued the witch. His pesky tricks couldn’t protect him from this particular magic.
To further stir chaos, the devilish girl quickly cast another spell. "Drown in the black sea, sink and suffocate..." She swept her hands upwards. "True Dark." The shadows beneath the behemoth gathered into a gaping maw. It snapped shut, trying to swallow the foe whole. If his defenses failed, the magic would cling to him like supernatural tar, interfering with his sensors. Violently the maw churned, twisting into a pitch black vortex. Dust and destruction was the result of Brisk's blast. A thick cloud plumed into the air, obscuring the metal man from view. A smirk tugged at his lips as Brisk lowered his hand. He loved it when a good plan came together. His smirk waned as the dust cleared and an even larger form took the being's place. Brisk took a step backward, his eyes widening as a sense of awe washed over him. His head craned backward to get a better look at the man. While standing at ten feet tall didn't exactly make you a giant, compared to someone short in stature like Brisk, he may as well have been. The man's warning was clear. Should Brisk continue to engage him, he would have little choice in harming him. Lilith's biting words came right on the heels of the man's threat as she implored whether Brisk would allow such a man to speak to him in that way. Decisions, decisions. Brisk flew backward in alarm as the shadowy maw rose from the depths of the dump, snapping shut around Creed. It was a nasty spell, one Brisk wanted nothing to do with. He'd weighed his odds, and his best bet at this juncture was to tip the scale in Lilith's favor. "I had better not regret this, Lady Nevermore." He raised both hands above his head, a crimson ring of ki forming in the space between his hands. Guiding it, Brisk sent the ring flying across the way until it hovered just above the swirling shadows of Lilith's spell. It expanded quickly to a much larger size, dropping down to surround the shadows. Brisk slammed his palms together, forcing the ring to constrict around the shadows, doubling the strength of the vice on Creed. Perhaps it would crush him. Perhaps it would not. Creed did nothing but sigh as the maw shut around him. Nothing would occur as the constrictions grew even stronger around the Armored Fiend. If not for the swirling ash from the aura of the two moves, it would be completely silent. Perhaps they did indeed win this battle… As if to break the deafening silence, two large blades would burst from the Shadow creature, tearing it asunder as if it was placed within a shredder. Creed would slowly rise from the newly made hole and turn to Lilith. His Energy had been sapped, HUD slightly fuzzy, and armor slightly cracked from the added pressure of Brisk. Oh, he was going to hurt that little good for nothing... “Hm. Perhaps you didn’t underestimate me. You simply overestimated yourself. It is to be expected of brats, though. But…” He would turn to Brisk. “You. You decided to help her, instead of heeding my warning. Quite impressive, the power of that previous attack. If I wasn’t so powerful, It might of even seriously injured me” The harpoon on his shoulder would aim at him and fire, attempting to impale one of his limbs. “But do you know the one thing I hate more than disrespectful and overconfident brats? It’s people who ignore my orders” The minigun on his shoulder would open onto the Frost demon, firing bolts of Ki about the size of marbles. If they were to impact they would shred skin and muscle, bouncing off bone with enough force to break them. “You’re right Brisk. She will owe you. Let’s hope she can afford your funeral service!” Creed would hold his hand out, a large sphere of Emerald Ki growing steadily. “Initiate Combat Protocol: Emerald Decimation” The sphere would explode outwards into a 10ft wide cylinder of blinding Ki, turning the very ash around them into a burning sludge. Creed would continue the blast for about a minute before finally letting off the strike. There was a decent chance that Brisk survived the onslaught. Whether he could continuing fighting was another question. Now to Lilith… Creed turnt to Lilith and burst with Sapphire energy, holding his arms out to his side. “Well, Lilith, do you understand what you are dealing with yet? Lilith was no stranger to shady favors. If anything, she was delightfully surprised that the Frost Demon wasn’t just some naive hero here to save the day. Her smile sharpened. "So be it." She did her best to shape the shadows in sync with the rings. Her servant assisted as well, firing yet another bolt at the foe. "Help me teach this brute a lesson in manners and I shall consider myself indebted to you." Such honesty was rare from her. Best not get used to it. Unfortunately even their combined power wasn’t enough to hold down the metal monster. She could feel his overwhelming power seeping through her body like vile poison. How troublesome.
When the armored assailant questioned the little witch if she knew what she was dealing with, she reflected the question back. "Do you?" Her eyes lit up with a baleful glow. The air around her rippled with mesmerizing patterns. One could argue that a cold, unfeeling machines would be immune to illusions. However, magic tended to defy logic. If the foe got caught in the hypnosis, he would suddenly find himself shrinking. Or perhaps the witch was growing. Within moments she would be large enough to hold him in the palm of her hand. "Look at you, monster. So limited by your science and technology." Her ghastly voice echoed without clear direction. "How can you challenge powers that are beyond your comprehension?" It was all just a distraction to keep him still for a moment.

Precisely the type she despised the most. "If you were even half as cunning as you pretend to be, we might have put our differences aside already." She lifted her wand and paused the lecturing for a spell. "I call forth the enmity of earth..." The ashen field rumbled, resonating with her magic. "Entombing Hex." Suddenly the ruined ground at the man’s feet came to life. Resembling crude claws, it sought to drag him down. It was as he suspected. A battle he had no business being apart of. A vicious hail of bullets slammed into him, throwing him backward. Pain lanced through every part of his being the ki bullets connected, and though his fleshy carapace was durable and able to withstand such an assault, Brisk had to wonder if it were an assault he need weather at all. For whose sake? Lady Nevermore? Her promise of a favor did little to lessen the sensation of feeling like he was being turned into a solid mass of swiss cheese. The bullet barrage subsided, but Creed's attack did not. As the massive energy blast sliced into him, it was all Brisk could do to evade the worst of it. It threw his small form even further from the conflict, and using the momentum of the blast, Brisk turned and flew away from the conflict altogether. He did not feel bad about abandoning the conflict. Logic dictated it was no longer a situation that would suit him, despite Lilith's promises. Would her promises rouse his corpse from the dead? This fellow, this Creed... he was far more powerful a foe than Brisk had ever encountered. And if he should live long enough to see Creed cowed beneath his own hand, well... A hasty retreat it would be.

Creed crossed his arms while looking up at her, seemingly unphased by this new transgression. It wasn’t that he thought this an illusion, it seemed very real to him. What he understood, was that making a target who was MUCH stronger than you the size of a beetle tended to have consequences. Larger creatures move slower to smaller creatures, and the punches he could deliver in this form would be like multiple, burning needle pricks. As the claws rose to entomb him, the minigun on his right shoulder would saw through them, sprinkling dust about. One managed to latch on, only to be crushed under his tiny foot. “I do understand what I am up against, hence why I am close to victory. This tactless brute just managed to make your bitch run. A much smarter person than you are, I suppose. What you fail to understand is that science has given me more power than you could dream of. These illusions and magic you have sent forth have caused little to no harm to me thus far. The Frost Demon has done more with raw power than you have in either previous encounter. Perhaps this “Magic” of yours is blinding you to logic, so let me make it as clear as I can-” Creed would burst upwards until reaching her eye. He would hold out a hand to it. “I work for a very rich and important man who, for some odd reason, finds your power to be worth his time” Three beams would burst forth, aimed at the large eye in front of him. They were low powered enough to simply slice through the Cornea. Confidence soared. A wicked smile played on the woman’s lips. With the Frost Demon acting as a target, she could easily... Hey! "Get back here, you coward!" She glared daggers at the fleeing traitor’s back. Tch... This was precisely why she preferred summoned servants. They couldn’t rebel. Without a shield to take the hits, she was defenseless against the onslaught. Or so one might think... When the beams struck, the massive witch suddenly vanished. The wispy darkness around her faded away as well, returning the foe to reality. A zap of static scratched against the armor, demanding his attention. The girl and her servant were down below. Two more scorch marks aside, she was still relatively fine. Relatively. "Share my suffering... Cursed Tome." The book hovering over her shoulder spat out another bolt. This one carried burning pain, the very same she had to suffer.
Lilith’s glare narrowed and nose wrinkled. "Hmph, do you truly think I care for money? That my arcane talent can be bought with mere trinkets and baubles?" She aimed her palm towards the metal monster, grasping the air. There was that devilish blue glow again. She had a plan, of course, but it needed more time. For that end, she would let the infuriating barbarian blabber all he wanted about power. It just showed how little he truly knew. "What I want is not within your client’s ability to give." At this point she was refusing the offer out of pure spite. Still, there was a solid core of truth to her twisted words. She did want something money couldn’t buy. However, she didn’t expect the man to ever guess it, let alone agree to it.

As Creed was pelted by the Cursed Tome, he would simply tilt his head and examine the now engulfed armor. It burnt, that was for sure. But he had felt worse burns than this when he first obtained his powers. Burns he still had as a reminder for why those who reach for the sun should always be careful not to get burnt. He returned his gaze back to Lilith as she continued on about “How what she wants isn’t within his ability to give”. Quite the load of bull there. Creed could get anything he wished for, Capsule Corps imminent demise would be a perfect example of that. Her doubt in his resourcefulness was almost as agrigious as her underestimation of his combat prowess. It was when she began to try and play minds games with him that finally caused him to snap. Into a loud, almost kneeling laughter. “You think that you matter that much to him? You were nothing but a possible employee out of thousands of possible candidates. Now you’re simply going to be a pile of dead meat on the ground. As for my image” A small projector would open on his back, showing a large image of his various exploits across Tech Tech. The media frenzy, all the deaths in his wake. “My image isn’t something a little girl with no power could ever change” The projector would zoom in on the various names given to him across the different New articles and reports. The names ranged from Butcher, Demon, Serial Killer, Mass Murderer, Vigilante, Protector of Justice, etc. “You don’t even know my name. So let me give it to you plain and simple” He would hold out his hand and power up a large engulfing sphere of green Ki. “You may call me Charon. Allow me to ferry you to the afterlife, free of charge” The blast would burst forward and completely engulf any and all land around it. The ashes would burn into molten material in its wake. Twitch, twitch, the annoyance continued to tug at the cold and pale features. As the witch had come to understand by now, this metal moron was just looking for hapless pawns. Typical. She quirked a brow at the projected images. None of the images or names seemed familiar, but admittedly she had very little interest in things outside of magic. While the foe prepared his attack, she didn’t even try to defend herself. The incoming blast was far too fast to dodge, too violent to block. It consumed the small girl completely. Her frail frame was vaporized in an instant. The howling wind carried the remaining dust away.
"...Charon? Really?"
The frigid lady’s flat comment crept from behind the metal man. Against all odds, she and her familiar had emerged completely unharmed from the massive blast. And she was not amused. "Of all the creatures dwelling in the underworld you choose the ferryman as your image. How quaint." ...Yes because that was the most glaring issue here. Definitely. She shook her head with a hollow sigh. "Then again, I suppose I shouldn’t expect much from a man who is too blind to see what is happening right under his nose." A smug smile underlined her mocking words. Almost like she was actively trying to annoy the man at this point. Raiju growled in agreement and fired yet another bolt. Fuel to the fire.
Gathering focus, Lilith unleashed her own scenery rending assault. "Drown in the black sea, sink and suffocate..." If the words sounded familiar, the foe could probably guess what to expect. "True Dark." However, this time the spell skipped the snapping jaw and erupted straight into a massive, black vortex. Her eyes took on the baleful blue glow again, seeking to siphon the foe’s power some more. All creatures had a limit and she was sure the clattering armor was no different. Just had to find it. While casting, she also found a moment for multitasking. "Through talent may all limits be surpassed..." However, she stopped there, leaving the incantation obviously incomplete. Many things went through Creed’s mind in this moment. Mostly unyielding rage, but something that made him want to break this entire planet. He was getting Re- Resp- gag RESPECT for this brat… She had certainly improved since their last bout, as much as he hated to admit it. His mind would be drawn back to Rine asking him to show more mercy in the past. Creed knew he could beat her again. That wasn’t a question. But something just didn’t feel right about it this time. Before he had no qualms with beating disrespectful fools into the dirt. But ever since he had met Niha and practiced... “Mercy”... His mindset seems to of shifted. Curse that little blue cretin… Fine. But next time he would not show this same kindness... Creed dodged to the side as the shadow attempted to bite down on him. Something would pop out from his forearm, he would catch it mid air before flinging it towards the small witch. It appeared to be a small card with a holographic sheen to it. “I’ve already proven I can beat you. I’m not going to waste the time to do it again. Consider yourself lucky, girl. And do not take this as admittance of defeat. I could tear you asunder along with this entire planet if I wished. Enjoy my mercy while it lasts, for next time I will ensure you are nothing but ash...” With that, he would burst into the air and far away from this battle. If Lilith were to pick up the card, it would begin to play a message as follows: “Greetings. You do not know who I am, but I know who you are Lilith Nevermore. I have a proposition to make you. I am a very powerful person within the Galactic landscape, and I seek your assistance. All you need to do is simply go to the surface of Tech Tech. I will meet you shortly after your arrival. In exchange for this, I offer you to name your price. It doesn’t have to be money, I’m sure you’ll find it within my power to obtain most if not anything within this galaxy. Just consider it.

Lilith’s red eyes shined. A small smirk was slipping past her cold mask. Just as plan- W-wait! Eyes widening, she watched the assailant throw a card instead of an attack. This had better not be headed where she thought it was headed. "Don’t you dare-!" Too late. Already the armored fiend took to the skies, leaving the girl in a cloud of dust. "Gah, hack, ag... G-get back here this instant! This is NOT over!" She would have pursued, but unfortunately she had misplaced her broom during the fight. That was her excuse and she was sticking to it.
With a click of fingers, the witch dismissed her summoned servant. Finally her bravado ran out. She nearly collapsed. Even with all her defensive magics in place, the fight had taken a heavy toll. Her body ached with internal agony. Something about that monster just made her skin crawl... Like electricity scorching her insides whenever it was near... Her tired gaze shifted onto the card sitting on a pile of ash. It was nothing more than morbid curiosity which led her to pick up the trinked. She shuddered as the holographic image flickered to life. Tch, more technological trickery. It was so cold and impersonal, nothing like enchanting a letter to speak the words written. How disgusting.
Still, something compelled the young lady to listen. That same curiosity perhaps. By the end of it, she lowered her gaze. Mixed feelings swirled inside her. Well, disgust and fury mostly. An invitation to the most technology focused planet imaginable? By a man who wouldn’t even introduce himself? It reeked of a trap. Yet another insulting attempt on her life. ...Hm, yes, she would go. After all, the offer was for her to name her price, no? Well then... Grim clouds gathered in the sky. Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed. Winds hissed in angry denial. No, she couldn’t ask that, they warned. Her smile sharpened into a crescent grin. Oh, but she would... Creed would land on top of the building which he and Rine were both residing in for their short time here. On most planets, Creed had bought himself one such building in case he had a mission needing to be done. A mobile workshop had been setup in the building, with numerous security features in case a foolish hoodlum tried entering. As he entered through the doorway and descended the staircase, Creed would remove his helmet and face plate, letting them go to float gently next to him. Rine would be sitting back watching some random show on a Holographic Television. She was munching on a chocolate bar, turning around at Creed’s sudden entrance. “Hey, why are you back so early? Didn’t you say you’d be gone the rest of the day?” “I had a change on plans” Creed said as he started disassembling his armor. “I saw no reason in trying to further convince that brat myself. She obviously had no desire to listen, and I was tired of having to fight her a second time. I figured I had already beaten her gruesomely once. Then I got to thinking…” He’d finally pop off his chest plate, he’d give a sigh. “We haven’t done anything in a while. Want to go out somewhere? I’ve heard Mitra has some nice restaurants” Rine was a bit confused for a moment. He was giving up time using that stupid suit to go out on a date?
