Soft steps tapped through the quiet corridors of Mitra as a small, robed figure shuffled along. A wide-brimmed hat cast a shadow over pale features. The patrolling guards gave the guest a nod in passing, but offered no greeting. Fortunately this young lady didn’t mind. In fact, she preferred the silence. It was one of the rare positives of the mechanical world. Too many machines and complex paths... Finding her way anywhere felt like such a headache... Even the portal she opened led to some lobby where a startled receptionist had stammered a dozen stupid questions at her. Personally she blamed the ambient interference, the metal structures interfering with the flow of magic. Truly this planet was a giant test of her patience.
When Lilith first heard that a new Emperor had taken the throne, she had admittedly been skeptical. In many ways, she still considered Polaris to be the model of a perfect Emperor. When they had first met and demonstrated each other’s capabilities, he had left quite a deep impression on the young witch. His power had been immense, yet just as refined as his court manners. Even in overwhelming victory he was graceful. After the painful ending to their meeting, she had woken up in a medical wing with her injuries treated by fine professionals. Such combination of strength and kindness had sparked the kind of loyalty neither bribery nor threats could gain. Some might even say she... missed him...
However, the skepticism was shaken when the noblewoman learned more about this Emperor Absolut. Apparently he was the son of Polaris himself, the rightful heir to the throne in other words. More importantly, it meant he too was a Frost Demon... Intrigued by the revelation, the young witch had requested an audience with the Emperor as soon as possible. Much to her pleasant surprise, it had been granted rather quickly.
Soon the doors to the mighty throne room opened and the noblewoman strode through. She stopped at the center of the room, gently grasped the hem of her robes and dipped into a deep curtsy. "I am Lady Lilith Nevermore, here for an audience with the new Emperor." Her gaze rose from the floor and focused on the Frost Demon, carefully scrutinizing every detail. "A pleasure to meet you, your highness." First impressions meant the world, of course. She was curious about him... His power, his disposition... And... How much did he know about her? The Emperor of the Galaxy As Lilith opened the door of the throne room of the palace of Mitra, the first thing she, or anyone besides her, might have noticed is that the entire room was surprisingly empty. The usual line of Ultramarine royal guards who would accompany the Emperor at most occasions were replaced with nothingness. Just a single Frost Demon child playing with a few toy figurines on the fancy gilded throne. It wouldn't be hard to notice that the aforementioned Frost Demon was not the Emperor, either. Or even a boy. Upon hearing Lilith introduce herself and speak that it is a pleasure to meet her highness, the girl put down her toys, waved her hand from the elevated throne and exclaimed: " Hellooo, Aunt Lilith! Nice to meet you!" The throne room had been specifically acoustically designed to have the voice of anyone sitting in the throne blast through the room thunderously, which also meant that Absolut, who was a few corridors away, making his way from the gravity chamber to the throne room for a meeting planned before hand, heard his sister introduce herself to the person who wanted to meet him... oh no." Wait!" suddenly echoed across the halls of the palace, and moments later, a winded Frost Demon in fluster ran to the entrance of the throne room, seeing exactly what he had expected to see - a young witch with pink hair staring to his sister, sitting in the Imperial throne with a bunch of figurines in front of her. " A-Arctica, what are you doing out there? That throne is not yours!" Arctica pouted and let out a "hmph", but followed through, picking up her toys and jumping off the throne, strolling to the side of the room, towards a door which led to Absolut and his family's personal quarters. The young Emperor let out a sigh and turned his eyes towards Lilith, scratching the back of his head in fluster. Probably the worst first impression to make to someone who is, presumably, very important... " I'm... sorry about that. I'm the person you are looking for, that's my sister Arctica, she does these mischievous things all the time... N-nice to meet you, by the way! You can just call me Absolut. Some may have said the Emperor seemed a bit young, but the noblewoman didn’t judge. Age meant nothing to a prodigy. Yet as if sensing the moment of vulnerability, the young voice spoke a word as potent as any curse. Icy gust blew across the room. White lightning painted violent streaks across the black backdrop. The reality itself shattered like a struck mirror. She recoiled, jaw dropping in utter horror. A-a-a-aunt?! As the word echoed in her mind, she could feel spreading wrinkles rapidly destroying her fair skin. Her bones grew brittle and aching back twisted into a permanent hunch. The merciless winds of time were grinding her to dust.
...Well, okay, maybe all of that was imaginary, but the shock was still massive.
Fortunately the shout managed to snap the witch back into reality where her skin was still fair and figure charming. Her blank stare drifted between the taller Frost Demon and the one she had mistaken for the Emperor. Sister? Curiosity immediately sparked in her mind and she had to restrain herself from summoning her notebook. She honestly didn’t know how to discern between Frost Demon genders. Was it the coloration? The small spike? Subtle differences in energy signature? Questions for later.
As Absolut... just Absolut apparently... introduced himself, Lilith gathered her composure. Cold mask quickly covered the confusion. "In a manner of speaking, yes..." Waving the matter aside for now, she grasped the hems of her robes again. "But first things first. Ahem..." She dipped into an even deeper curtsy, one bordering on theatrical. Obviously she couldn’t offer merely the same level of respect to the Emperor as his sister. No, the order of ascending respect was very clear. "I am Lady Lilith Nevermore, the heir of the illustrious Nevermore witch clan." Finally she straightened her back, gently brushing stray strands of hair behind her ear. "Charmed, I’m sure." Manners first and foremost.
The crimson gaze scanned the young Emperor closely. Hm... No. He seemed nothing like his father. Even his energy was a mere ember compared to the brilliant star she had faced before. The first impressions certainly didn’t help his case either... How disappointing. "Now, if I may speak frankly, your highness..." Even as she said that, she still chose her words carefully, gauging his reaction closely. "Your father and I had... an agreement." Vivid memories of slamming against a wall coursed through her mind. And back. "I am here to see if the agreement is still valid or if there is a need to... renegotiate the terms." For now, she was going to give the new ruler the benefit of the doubt however. The Emperor of the Galaxy
Now that Absolut got a better chance to take a look at the person he was dealing with, he could almost immediately tell that the pink-haired witch was none too pleased with the events which unfolded. Not just with the fact that she mistook the Emperor for his sister - the way she looked at him, despite being hidden with a veil of courtesy, easily betrayed her apparent dissatisfaction with the person in front of her. Was it because Absolut was, in one way or another, not a repeat of his father? Could be. There was a thousand possible answers to this question.
Regardless, the woman introduced herself as Lady Lilith Nevermore, apparently the heir of the Nevermore clan, and followed it up with a curtsy. Absolut responded appropriately, with a polite nod and speaking:
"Nice to meet you, Miss Lilith."
Her act may have bordered on theatrical and her opinion of Absolut clearly not all positive, but at least the Earthling - she was clearly an Earthling, the name was something you'd hear on Earth and Saiyans didn't have pink hair - was polite and honestly quite attractive, even if clearly older than the Frost Demon. What Lilith wanted to hear about was, apparently, an agreement between her and his father, and she wanted to know whether this agreement was still valid or whether it'd have to be renegotiated.
A reasonable request. Absolut scratched the back of his head and muttered in response:
"Well, um... before I can say yes or no, could you... remind me on what those terms are? If they're something about the Empire and all the reforms taking place, though, then I can't really offer you all that much - Mom's the one handling the day to day affairs, not me..."

The crimson gaze twitched. Ever so slightly the mask wavered with annoyance. "Lady Lilith." She reflexively corrected him. Still, his request was fair. It seemed his father hadn’t told him anything about their little arrangement. "Ah, worry not. Our agreement was something far more direct than the usual politics." While she was intrigued by the revelation, she was here for the Emperor, not his mother. "The terms are simple. I offer my services to the Emperor..." Magic. She meant magic, obviously. "...If the Emperor proves himself worthy." Right now that was a big if.
To underline the point, the wicked witch reached for her wand and uttered an ominous incantation. "From Hell’s heart I summon thee..." Her power flared. An infernal symbol appeared in the air before her, turning into a crackling portal. "Come forth, dark juggernaut, Black Knight." In a flash of hellish flames, a massive metal figure appeared. Standing taller than most men, the enormous warrior was clad from head to toe in pitch black armor. It hoisted a two-handed sword as big as the young Emperor himself. Red eyes burned like embers within the helmet. Eight glowing crests slowly circled around his broad frame.
Lilith pointed her wand at the Frost Demon. "Lord Absolut, I hereby challenge you to a duel." Yes, right here and now. No, she would not accept a refusal. This was a serious matter to her. "If you win, I shall deem you worthy and pledge my absolute loyalty to you, like I did to your father." And if he lost... Well, she left that part out, but one could imagine the plans beneath that wicked smile were not anything good. After giving the boy a moment to prepare, or to panic if that was more his style, she swept her hand towards him. "Black Knight... Charge." On the command, the behemoth rushed forward and swept the heavy blade in a dangerous arc. The attack was meant less for cutting and more for blasting the foe right off his feet. The Emperor of the Galaxy
"I-I'm sorry, Miss-I mean, Lady Lilith." Absolut sloppily fixed himself upon the pink-haired witch's insistence to be referred to as a 'Lady'. Why such insistence on that prefix, though? Both of them are polite... Maybe that must be something related to her upbringing - Absolut never really got the profilic nature of Earthling noble titles, anyway, all those lords and barons and mistresses...
Lilith's explanation was simple - she offered her direct services to the Emperor, if the Emperor proves himself worthy. What kinds of services? She quickly explained by action - casting a spell before Absolut and summoning a some sort of magical black knight, and judging from the fiery realm in the other side of the portal, possibly from Hell outright. Magic. Magic...
And then she ordered the knight to attack him. Absolut barely managed to pull out the Sword of Greenskull from its hilt in time to guard against the sudden incoming blade slash, the force of the blow sending the young Frost Demon sliding back for a few meters before coming to a full stop.
"D-don't you think this is not the place to have a battle?!" Absolut exclaimed. After all, they were still in the throne room... Regardless, the Frost Demon went for a counterattack - first swinging his heavy weapon towards the hellish knight's swordwielding arm to try to either deflect it or cut it off outright, before sending two swift vertical slashes at the opponent's torso.

Lilith’s eyes widened when Absolut pulled out a sword to defend himself. Something about the blade gave her disgusting shivers, as it was meant to fight people like her. It served the boy well too, protecting him against the strike. The Black Knight moved with more agility than anything that big had any right to have. It dodged the first strike and redirected another. One slash, however, slipped past the iron guard. It scraped against the chest armor, leaving sparks in its wake. While the behemoth barely flinched, one of the crests suddenly shattered. As if cut in two... There was no time to celebrate though. Again the monstrous sword swung for the Frost Demon. It came down like a guillotine. ...Or a particularly crude hammer.
Meanwhile, the witch shot down the protest. "On the contrary, I think this is an excellent place to battle." Naturally she had her own twisted perfectly reasonable justification for it. "Raw power is a fool’s measure. True strength also includes finesse and cunning. If you cannot fight without ruining your own throne room, then you don’t deserve to have it." Obviously that applied to herself as well. She was going to fight without leaving a single lasting mark and be incredibly smug about it.
As the summon and the Emperor locked blades, the caster voiced another incantation. "I call upon the ancient forces of darkness. Let suffering sustain me and pain empower me... Might of Malice." However, despite the lengthy spell, the effects weren’t all that pronounced. Only some eerie, violet wisps gently drifted around her. Regardless, she reached her hand towards Absolut. "Soul Siphon." On her command the air started swirling... Pulling... The magical vortex was trying to steal the foe’s strength. If his fortitude failed, he might find his energy escaping and soul burning. The Emperor of the Galaxy
Trying to not keep too much attention to Lilith's explanation on why starting a fight in the throne room was necessary to not get distracted, Absolut continued clashing with the hellish knight in front of him, the difference between them in raw strength, skill and speed was quickly starting to show. With each incoming blow, Absolut was forced to either step back or take the damage, deflecting the heavy weapon or clashing it was not an option, while he was unable to respond with much of the same.
What made matters worse, however, was the fact that after leaping a few steps away from the knight to catch his breath, Absolut suddenly felt a powerful force tug onto him from below. Lilith had stretched out her hand towards the young Frost Demon, having clearly activated a some sort of spell which surrounded him in a magical vortex, sucking onto his energy and threateing to rip his entire life essence apart.
Darn it...
Absolut fell on one knee, wincing and heavily breathing, but did not give up just yet. Fighting against the spell and the exhaustion it inflicted, the young Frost Demon slowly pulled himself out of the vortex, running forward immediately after escaping and sending a roundhouse kick towards the hellish knight to knock him away for a few meters and give Absolut some reprieve.
"That's... That's not even fair! You're making me fight two opponents at once!"
Well if he has to fight two opponents at once, then he better start on it. Absolut winded back his arm and then suddenly tossed the Sword of Greenskull forward as a spinning boomerang, aiming at Lilith.

Reveling in the delightful spark of stolen energy, the young witch allowed herself a smug smile. "All’s fair in love and war." Grasping her hat, she ducked beneath the thrown blade. It didn’t even pause her musing. "If you were ambushed by a group of assassins, would you expect them to fight fair as well? To come at you one at a time? I think not." Aside from the boy’s horribly naive attitude, he was doing better than expected. He displayed similar resilience as his father. Perhaps he was what they called a gem in the rough? Hm, well, it was much too early to say for sure.
Unfortunately boomerang throws had this peculiar trait where the weapon tended to... come back. And this time the blade didn’t miss. Lilith gasped. A spray of crimson stained the floor. For a brief moment, it felt like the whole world wavered. And faded into mist... All of a sudden Absolut would find the blade returning to him as it completed the loop. The witch cocked her head, feigning curiosity. "Did you enjoy your fleeting dream?" No longer was she horribly wounded. In fact, there wasn’t even a drop of blood on the floor anymore. The knight, however, had suddenly lost four more crests...
Beneath the bravado, the wicked woman found herself conflicted. The young Emperor had definitely shown cunning and skill just now. To force her into using her most potent defensive spell was rather impressive in fact. However, that irritating blade was still making her skin crawl... She could feel its influence as a crushing weight upon her shoulders. How annoying. Her eyes lit up with a baleful glow. "Beware, young Emperor... For wielders of magic, reality is a matter of opinion." As she said that, the air around her started dancing with psychedelic colors. If Absolut stared for too long, he would’ve found himself shrinking as the room around him darkened. Soon he would be just an ant standing on the palm of a towering titan with glowing eyes and a sharp grin.
Regardless of whether the foe fell for the illusion or not, Lilith summoned a thick tome with a midnight black cover. It floated over her shoulder like a strange sentinel. "Share my suffering... Cursed Tome." Suddenly the pages fluttered open and violet bolt shot out. It was much too fast to avoid, cursing the Frost Demon with the exact same heavy sensation the witch suffered. He... He just tossed his weapon straight at Lilith without thinking, didn't he?.. Not considering that she, as a mage, might be extremely fragile in a battle in general - and now, his weapon slashed straight through the pink-haired girl, blood splashed upon the floor, Absolut's eyes and mouth widened in shock, forgetting to even catch the weapon returning towards him and instead let it pass by, and...
nothing happened.
The spray of blood disappeared, Lilith was completely fine, and asking Absolut whether he enjoyed his... fleeting dream. It was a dream?.. Oh, right. Magic. Maybe he shouldn't be so quick as to trust what his eyes were telling him when fighting against her, this was a master of trickery he was dealing with.
Unfortunately, that lesson seemingly came through Absolut's one ear and promptly exited through the next, as when Lilith activated a spell surrounding his vision with psychedelic colors and shapes, Absolut stopped, staring into them like a wonderous child. Maybe he would have gotten outright hypnotized, too, were it not for the sudden intervention of a sound at the side. His weapon, having passed its wielder in a moment of shock and continued flying, finally hit the ground and slid across the slippery floor of the throne room, breaking Absolut out of his trance and into the fight.
Just in time to witness the knight he had been fighting charging at him at full speed. A fairly simple direct assault which normally wouldn't be a problem to deal with, but Absolut saw himself crippled by not having his sword at hand and a shooting, pulsating pain echoing across his body, as if something had just severely cut him. In the middle of this crushing feeling, the hellish knight's shoulder slammed straight into the young Frost Demon and sent him stumbling backwards.
Okay, okay. Calm down. You can still do this. He might not have his weapon at hand, but the power of the Sword of Greenskull was still emanating across his body nevertheless. Absolut suddenly lashed out straight at the knight, aiming to grab hold of both of its arms and then pull the massive warrior over his shoulder to take him down to the ground. Whether or not he was successful in slamming down the hellish knight, Absolut would continue pulling at its arms and swing it towards the pink-haired magician to try to throw her creation straight at the creator.

Much to Lilith’s mixed surprise and annoyance, Absolut resisted her enthralling influence. Tch, clever boy... Beneath that bumbling act he must’ve possessed a will of steel. Clearly that was the only explanation. She watched with a raised brow when the Frost Demon grabbed her servant. The slam against the floor elicited a small giggle. Hm, poor fool. Black Knight was much too sturdy to be harmed by something... like... Her laughter was cut short when she saw the boy swing and launch the knight at her. The crimson eyes widened and the wicked smile vanished. A massive crash echoed through the throne room. As the deafening noise faded, the massive creature was left sprawled on the floor. But... The witch was nowhere to be seen?
After an awkwardly quiet moment, a muffled voice crawled weakly from beneath the behemoth. "Get off me, you armored oaf..." Reminiscent of a marionette with broken strings, the infernal creature suddenly lurched aside, yanked up by unseen forces. The last of its crests shattered. With trembling motions the witch managed to pry herself from the floor as well. Despite the injuries her power kept rising... The violet wisps around her started growing restless... Her attempt to remain graceful while shakily dusting her clothes teetered between sad and comical though. "Your physical strength is quite..." Absurd. She wanted to say absurd. "...surprising." She had never expected the slim frame to hold so much raw power. How intriguing.
The young noble gathered her focus for a new spell. Clearly she had underestimated the young ruler. It would not happen again. "Drown in the black sea, sink and suffocate... True Dark." Suddenly the foe’s own shadow turned against him. It erupted upwards like a geyser of ink, trying to blast and blind him. While he dealt with that, the witch kept up the pressure. One hand pointed the wand at him... "I call forth the wrath of winter... Frost Hex." ...while the other grasped the air in a familiar motion. "Soul Siphon." First he had a blue bolt coming for him, carrying a gust of arctic air. A good hit might even freeze him solid. Then the vortex formed, seeking to greedily drink more of his essence.
Black Knight didn’t sit idle either. Scraping the sword against the floor, it charged tirelessly. Unfortunately now that the crests were gone, the fiend’s strength dropped noticeably. The Emperor of the Galaxy
Throwing the heavy hellish knight at Lilith took a lot of effort - the bastard was more massive than he anticipated - but it was successful and it gave Absolut a moment to reprieve and reflect on the battle which had unfolded between the three of them so far. The way Lilith used her knight as a distraction while casting various nefarious spells on the Frost Demon, the way how it acted like a speechless machine listening to orders, the way it got suddenly yanked up as if being controlled by something greater...
It all collected itself in the fact that the threat here was not the knight he had been fighting all this time, but the magician herself. That man was not a separate entity, but rather a some sort of technique. So if he keeps on fighting him, it will achieve nothing but getting himself exhausted and worn down...
With that in mind, Absolut's mind was prepared for the next chain of spells from Lilith's side. First, Absolut's own shadow suddenly erupted, threatening to engulf him while the Earthling lady continued casting. Nothing he cannot deal with, however - clenching his fists, the young Frost Demon's aura suddenly erupted with blinding light, much like he had been used to doing against opponents in the past, clearing out his shadow and nullifying the spell.
What followed was a three-pronged attack, from the black knight, a bolt of ice from one end and a vortex of soul-siphoning magic from the other.
Darn it, what would Mr. Cam do?.. He'd tell me to...
After getting hit by the knight's horizontal slash and stepping back after a light cut on his bio-armor, Absolut suddenly boosted his aura and charged forward, speeding past both of the incoming magical attacks and heading straight for the caster directly - trying to withhold the full force of his attacks against someone presumably frail, he suddenly sent an elbow towards Lilith's abdomen. Immediately after, whether or not the attack landed, the young Frost Demon would follow it up by sending both of his hands to grab Lilith's shoulders and try to pin her to the ground with a powerful thud, speaking:
"Stay down!"

Despite Lilith’s silent insistence that she would not underestimate Absolut again... Well... Seeing him so deftly dodge all of her spells left her stunned. Her legs wouldn’t move. She barely had time to summon protective magic. "Shroud of Shadows." Her own shadow rose from the floor, protectively wrapping around her. And still... The elbow strike sank deep, knocking her wind out. Resembling a rag doll, she got slammed against the floor. Hard. Finding herself completely pinned down, she could only stare up at her foe. Struggling was futile. That piercing, crushing pain returned, as if the Frost Demon himself had been touched by the purifying power of his blade. Could it be...?
However, a defiant gleam soon returned to the crimson gaze. The proud noble managed to draw enough breath for a refusal. "Not... Yet..." Suddenly the wisps around her flared into a frenzied dance. Her power skyrocketed. The air crackled with malicious static. "We shall see how you measure up against the full extent of my power. Have at you." Foul magic coalesced around her frame. "Negative Burst." A surge of energy shot outwards. It briefly seemed like the world’s colors were flipped. It brought about a sickening shock, one that bypassed physical armor. "Share my suffering... Cursed Tome." Again the floating tome fluttered and spat out a punishing bolt.
If that combination wasn’t enough to ward off the foe, the wicked witch had more coming. "Through talent may all limits be shattered… Spell Echo..." Yet for some reason she never finished what was clearly an incomplete incantation. Instead, her eyes gained that baleful light again. Up close, she was very confident in her magical charm. If the young ruler got caught in the illusion, he would suddenly find the roles reversed. He would be the one on the floor with the witch on top of him, holding the wand to his throat. "As long as I can speak, I can cast. And as long as I can cast, you cannot hope to best me." In truth, she was trying to buy herself time. Casting so many spells back to back was taxing. The Emperor of the Galaxy Lilith did not stay down. Despite being slammed down with enough force to break the back of most Earthlings, the magician continued muttering, declaring that Absolut has yet to measure up against the full force of her power - power which immediately began to clock in, the young Frost Demon's senses indicating that Lilith has drastically surpassed him by now. This was followed by the pink-haired woman casting several spells on him, sending several shocks of pain through his body and forcing him to release Lilith's shoulders. The magician girl finished up her combination by suddenly switching the two of them together. Absolut stared agape, unable to mutter a single word, into Lilith pretty much holding him hostage with a wand pointed straight at his face. What can he even do against this woman? Anything he throws at her, she counters swiftly and promptly casts spell after spell which he has no protection against... What's the point of continuing to fight anymore? She's just going to eventually win, isn't she? " I... I... I..." Absolut's defeatism, however, did not leave an entity within him satisfied. Despite the thin layer of defeatism, there were still plenty of lingering emotions within him. Anger. Frustration. Resolve to see this fight to the finish. And, as much as the young Frost Demon wanted to suppress it, excitement over the fight as well... All emotions which the entity had been feeding with throughout the fight, until it finally made the decision to take control, if only for a brief moment. Suddenly, Absolut leapt up from the ground, ignoring the wand aimed at his throat, and landed back on his feet, both of his eyes staring at the pink-haired mage. Then, only one. Though Absolut's consciousness perceived the transformation as something like suddenly falling asleep, his mind was still subconsciously fighting the takeover. As such, the young Frost Demon merely continued standing, glaring at Lilith, his power level steadily rising and taking up a sinister, demonic scent. The only action he had taken during this brief silence was raising his hand to telepathically drag the Sword of Greenskull to his grasp. For now. Defensive Phase

As the foe suddenly moved away, Lilith’s eyes flashed red... der and a wicked smirk played on her features. Just as planned. The illusion faded away and the downed witch propped herself upright. Feeding on the suffering and corruption, her empowerment spell kept growing stronger. Slowly and steadily... The sudden transformation stopped her from gloating though. Instead, she found herself gawking at the fearsome form. What was this... delightfully demonic presence...? As the initial shock passed, her face slowly twisted into a devilish crescent grin. "Shishishi~ Wonderful~ Absolutely wonderful~!" For the first time in years, she could offer genuine praise to someone. "You were hiding this from me all along? How devious." She was well aware of talent for transforming Frost Demons possessed. Seeing it in person, however, was outright incredible. Her studies hadn’t even mentioned anything like this.
The young witch focused her magic. She still had more tricks up her long sleeves. "Through knowledge may all boundaries be broken..." Glowing runes appeared in the air, forming circles around her. There was a strange shift in her energy. "Spell Mimic: Heavenly Rejuvenation." It seemed like a beam of golden light suddenly shined down on her. As the angelic glow blessed her body, the wounds and fatigue quickly faded away. The irony was rich. Still, it was far from a full recovery. Light magic had never been her strong point after all. She couldn’t afford to dawdle.
Lilith leveled her wand at the foe. She was sure that silent stare had some sinister tactic behind it. Perhaps he was trying to provoke her... If so, best not keep his highness waiting. Malicious static crackled again, striking like a whip against Absolut. Still attuned to ice, she needed just a quick cast. "Frost Hex." Another freezing blast shot across the room. Meanwhile, her summon was leaning against its sword, still and lifeless. The infernal energy powering it was nearly gone. But... Even if it couldn’t attack anymore, it was still good for one thing... The young Frost Demon's body remained stationary, its eyes still staring towards the pink magician, as she applauded Absolut for... achieving something, even though Absolut did not even hear her say anything, before finally casting several spells yet again. Painful static shocks continued zapping the young body and a wave of frost struck it outright, its frame overwhelmed by the icy torrent.
About time to move out.
Despite being struck by two separate spells at once, the body suddenly started to move, stepping forward through the freezing blast, first slowly, then faster, and faster, and faster, turning into running... and then a scream escaped its mouth:
"HAAAAAAAAAH!"
It was not Absolut's natural voice. Absolut's natural voice might have still been heard somewhere in there, but it was suppressed underneath a demonic, low pitched scream, the usual energetic and high-pitched voiced associated with the young Frost Demon solidly taking up the lesser portion of the dual voice.
The body lashed out, swinging the Sword of Greenskull forward at full force and speed to descend it upon Lilith, following it up with a wild rampage of sword slashed from everywhich angle at the pink-haired magician, growing more and more frenzied, uncontrollable and blood-lusted with each passing second.

As Absolut charged, Lilith didn’t budge. Whether she couldn’t or wouldn’t was left unanswered. She seemed almost hypnotized by how he powered through the spells. That twisted Cheshire grin didn’t even waver. A flash of steel... And a spray of blood. Even with the protective enchantments in her robes, she never stood a chance. Each and every attack slashed effortlessly through.
When the violent frenzy finally passed, the witch was reduced a crimson stain on the floor. Yet her voice still haunted the grand hall. "Let sleep cloud your eyes and dream of victories that never were... Fleeting Dream." All of a sudden she was standing behind the Frost Demon. Her bloody remains faded away as if they had never been there. She cocked her head, musing idly. "Hm, you can’t hear me anymore, can you?" No, the scream and the single-minded rush made it quite clear. His highness was no longer in control. Not that she could really blame him. The first sip of dark powers was oftentimes rather... intoxicating.
Nonchalantly the young noble brushed few stray strands into order, as if her life wasn’t in grave danger. "It’s fine though..." Oh how she wished she could have studied him for a bit longer. However, she wasn’t going to let this power corrupt such a promising vessel. Yet. "I shall snap you out of it." Her eye lit up with a blue glow. The same ethereal light appeared around the foe, trying to grasp him like a massive claw. "Mage Hand." Powered by the same magic as her Soul Siphon, it too wanted a piece of his power.
Planning to hold the foe still with telekinetic force, Lilith took aim again. "I call forth the enmity of earth..." The icy air around her wand suddenly turned arid. "Sand Hex." True to the name, a massive torrent of sand shot out. Forming a snake, it tried to rapidly wrap around the boy, entomb and immobilize him. Once again, the magician activated a some sort of... illusion spell to get out of the way of the rampage, and Absolut's body stopped and stepped back as soon as it became clear that all of the slaughter he is laying down means nothing and the witch's voice continued to echo across the halls regardless. And, much as anticipated, the illusion shattered almost immediately.
Despite the obvious interest in Absolut's transformation - if you can even call it that, considering that the young Frost Demon was clearly not the one in control at this point - Lilith also showcased concern with the young Emperor's actions. Immediately after, several powerful magical attacks slammed into the Frost Demon's body at once - a dome of light clenched tightly around it, squeezing it, while a torrent of sand wrapped around it before finally slamming down like a tomb.
During the entire showcase of power, Absolut's body remained stationary, staring towards Lilith, cracks and sparks of dark demonic energy popping in and out of existence around it - it appeared completely uninterested in the attacks which struck him, though the telekinetic choke and the sandstorm both left visible, clear slashes, cuts and wounds across its body, as if it could not even feel what was happening around it.
Until suddenly, a roar escaped the young Frost Demon's mouth.
"HAAAAAAAAAAH!"
This was immediately followed by a powerul aura burst erupting from within his body, pushing the tomb of sand and the claw of light aside. More and more power continued to build up within the vessel, all concentrating in Absolut's hand - then, out of nowhere, it suddenly raised the hand and unleashed a massive powerful burst of pure demonic energy towards the witch, rolling across the throne room.
Despite its clearly overwhelming and powerful nature, it dealt no damage to the furniture, the carpet, or anything else in its way - however, any living tissue in its way would suddenly see itself threatened to be ripped apart by a destructive force.

Utter shock stunned the witch. Even her strongest binding spells couldn’t stop the young Frost Demon anymore. It was as if... he didn’t register any pain? His energy was incredible. If he could do this with brute, unrefined force alone, she shivered to imagine what he could achieve with proper training. With no way left to avoid the wave, she was hit with the brunt of the demonic energy. As it tore through her body, she finally knew... This was the power of a true ruler. It was a small miracle she didn’t get mulched by the merciless assault. Only the infernal power already surging inside her offered some meager protection. But ultimately it wasn’t even nearly enough...
After the raging wave passed, Lilith’s arms drooped. The wand slipped from her grasp with a light clatter. Blood dripped from the pale lips. "Absolutely wonderful..." Even agony burning within her veins couldn’t fully dampen the smile. "Emperor Absolut... I deem you... worthy..." She would’ve bowed her head once more, but her body wouldn’t move anymore. Well, it hardly mattered at this point. She had no regrets. No fear. Even the most revered nobles were beneath the Emperor. So it had been decreed, so it shall forever be. If the Emperor desired her life... He had all the right to take it... Light left her eyes. Softly she collapsed onto the cold floor.

The Emperor of the Galaxy
See, was that so hard? Just take control of the kid's body every once in a while and set things right, that's all you need to do! After the pulse of demonic energy, Absolut's body lowered its hand and began to take the first steps towards the fallen pink-haired witch - then suddenly, the marks, the oozing sinister essence, the overwhelming power all vanished in an instant, and in its place, the young Frost Demon's consciousness reignited yet again, faced with an agonizing, frozen, battered and exhausted body, and a sight before his eyes which he could not remember no matter how hard he tried.
Absolut collapsed to his knees, taking several heavy breaths, then took a look towards Lady Lilith. Before he suddenly, inexplicably, went to sleep, Lilith was above him and pointing her wand towards his neck - and now, she was unconscious on the ground, bleeding, severely wounded... Clearly, that was not the result of a spell from her part. Clearly, this was something different.
The young Frost Demon looked down at his hands, still crackling with some sort of energy he was unfamiliar with.
What... what happened?..
There was nobody else in the room... so whoever did this to Lady Lilith... whoever trashed her like that... could have only been him.
He'll have to figure that out later on. For now... even if his body was in complete pain and gripped by exhaustion, Absolut pulled himself from the ground and picked up Lilith's body, making his way towards the palace's healing tanks. It's only fair that he gets them to safety first before worrying about himself, after all.
