Rebuilding was no simple task. Especially when the earth itself was seared and deformed. Some of the destruction had harmed the landscape to the point of effecting the flow of one of the islands most important rivers. It had begun to spill out- a dam needed to be formed to resurrect the flow of water. That was why Tora now stood in the midst of the dense, remaining forest. Shirtless, his muscles coiled as he unleashed a flurry of slashes in an instant. A dozen trees were cut into wood blocks, all cut to interlock perfectly.
They fell perfectly as well, stacking up and sliding into place. When he had phased from view he had struck each piece of wood, ensuring they would wall into the perfect spot. Tora no Seishin smiled at his handiwork, wiping the beading sweat off his brow. He exhaled heavily, laughing. Now it was time to set it in place.
He hefted the newly formed wall onto his back, making his way to where the riverside once had been. With one arm, he utilized his ki to slice a deep gouge into the earth. Then he set the wall. For a moment, the water lazily splashed against the newly built wooden dam. But then it pooled together and began to flow more steadily. Tora smiled, reaching down into the water and splashing it onto his face and body, hoping to get some off the sweat off. He had been working hard.
Making his way through the misty jungle, he leapt from branch to branch, taking deep breaths. Since his battle with Lute he felt... focused. There was a purpose to all of his actions and choices. Every step he took led somewhere- for so long he had been searching for it.
A purpose. It was time for him to really help people. The Tiger of Earth had selfishly focused his attention on himself and his island, uncaring of the repercussions. But the universe had seen devastation. Tora was sick of turning a blind eye to everything.
He wanted to help. So, as he arrived at the peak of the newly formed mountain that Lute's psychic abilities had crafted, he felt like it was a symbol for something. New beginnings. It jutted out from where a volcanic caldera had once been, formed by a terrible onslaught of ki from the ex-Demon King. He sat there, meditating, smelling the fresh air. Their was still hints of a large fire in the scent of the breeze but Tora found it oddly comforting.
A new beginning had started for him.

your darkness will be shrouded by my own. She didn't intent to startle the semi naked man, but her presence seemed to add a spring to the other warrior's step. His body was maimed and littered with scars of battles passed, some seemed fresher than others however. He explained that he was indeed fine but came close to losing his life to another strong opponent. Cassava's eyes narrowed at the prospect. Not only that there was a strong man who had enough strength to cause such a geologic disturbance, but that this man before her was able to fend him off. Her lips curved up into their own smile at the prospect of being before such a talented opponent. "Oh? That's impressive, you warded off such a threat and only gained a few scars. You must be quite the warrior," Cassava praised with her golden gaze locked on the man's body. He expressed his appreciation for her caring enough to stop by, the woman silently nodded as if to explain it was no worry. "My story? I suppose I just have something that a lot of people don't. Why not use my skills to help and protect those less fortunate?" Cassava replied with a stern gaze. Though, the smile on Tora's face only caused her expression to soften. She reached up to scratch her cheek with an armored gauntlet before resting her hands upon her hips idly. "I'm Cassava, a Saiyan and former member of the Dominion. I retired, wasn't my style, so now I'm traveling around trying to make something outta myself." The woman kicked up a bit of dirt with her boot before pointing towards the shirtless man. "What's your story bud? You live out here or something? All alone on an island? Is this a fightin' ring?"

Tora was surprised when his meditation was interrupted by an intense-looking raven haired girl. She asked if he was alright- he subconsciously brushed against the three newest scars he had acquired in his fierce battle against the Demon King. One was on his lower abdomen, other close to his heart. Finally his hand rested on the scar on his right shoulder, laughing sheepishly.
"Okay..? Yeah, uh, I'm fine!" he responded, laughing. "Almost died, but I survived. Let's just say an incredibly strong guy showed up here and I taught him a thing or two about life!"
He winked at the girl as he said that, grinning playfully. "I appreciate you coming by to check on things. That's pretty selfless of you! My name is Tora no Seishin, the Roaring Tiger of Earth!" he exclaimed, scrambling to his feet and beaming as he introduced himself. In fact, to add to the moment he event pointed to himself with his thumb when he said 'Roaring Tiger of Earth'. Onlookers may think he rehearsed this- sadly, he hadn't. He was just this bubbly.
"What's your story, huh? Why are you off playing hero?" he asked, still smiling at the stranger. He was happy to meet such a good natured girl. Even if she was a little goth. Or was it emo? Or scene? Tora wasn't sure, but goth sounded cooler. Yeah, he was excited to meet this mysterious woman. Perhaps she was powerful?
If she wasn't she might want to be careful wandering around haplessly trying to help folks. But Tora always, always appreciated enthusiasm. And this girl was covered in bandages on her left arm- she was tough enough to probably earn those in a scrap. Maybe Tora would have to test her strength afterall...

Tora looked at the ground, his smile fading for a moment. Had he been strong enough to fend off the threat? Not technically. Not physically, at least.
"To tell you the truth, I almost died. Should've died too... the man that came here was incomparable in terms of strength. Perhaps the most powerful being I had ever met... in the end, I think he gave his strength away because he realized it wasn't good for anything but destruction. Do you get that? It was the strangest thing. He had me- I almost killed him, but he had me. Got me by the throat. Choked me- I thought to death."
He swallowed, taking a deep breath as he made eye contact with the girl. His expression had changed. "But he didn't. See, he came here to steal away one of my friends- er, one of the tigers that live here. To sell. I couldn't have it. In the end, before I lost, I must've said something that changed him. Because he saved this island when he was the one who destroyed it. And from what I saw? He cast away all of his strength to do it. I think that I changed a man, that day. Sorry to ramble- but, if you want to save people, remember how important it is to be merciful. If you want to be a hero... Sometimes talking things out is important. He built this very mountain- the Demon King's Rock."
Finishing his speech, Tora recalled had heard of the Saiyan race. Their penchant for battle. His close friend Legume was one of them- a Super Saiyan. Was this girl also..? He cracked his neck, the Tiger of Earth looking her up and down. If she responded properly to what he had just said, this could he an opportunity. Tora had realized his fatal mistake during his fight with the Demon King, and he wanted to learn from his mistakes. It was the same mistake he had made during his fight with Kaijin and Kuueru, alongside Legume.
"And, if you wish, this could be a fighting ring. But that's only if you're a Super Saiyan- or desire to be one. I wouldn't want to hurt you, and I'm not the type to hold back. Just keep the destruction to a minimum. I do, uh... live here alone. On this island. I'm its Guardian!"
When he said this the smile returned to his face and he redoubled his efforts to seem polite. "Again, sorry for the long winded speech. Maybe I do need to get out more!"

Cass could see the pain in Tora's face as he explained the entire situation of what caused the island to be in the shape that it was. There was plenty of destruction, stuff that would be unimaginable to a normal person. Whoever possessed the power to harm the land this much was indeed a god among men. That's when Tora mention his name, and how this very mountain that they stood upon was his namesake. The Demon King. Since the tiger loving man thought he had changed this king so much, was he truly such a demon? "Lovely story, one to tell the grandchildren I'm sure."
Cassava paused, watching the odd look the man gave her at the mention of her race. He issued her a challenge, but only under the condition that she was a Super Saiyan. He issued a claim of his restraint in battle, not that the woman wanted that. If anything, she wanted to go all out on this man, to at least see what his and her own limits were. She nodded however, her smaller frame taking a few steps back as she dug her heavy boots into the dirt. "All right Tiger Island Guardian. I'll oblige. It's been a long while since I've had a fight anyhow," With that, the woman's eyes fell shut. It took a moment. The process began with a few sparks flickering to life around her form, then in a wave of gold her soot black locks were replaced with a roaring river of gold. She opened her eyes, her goldens hues now a deep and dreamy teal. "Is this what you wanted? A Super Saiyan?" Cassava was grinning. Sure, it was a rarity among her people, but she had put in the work. Tora laughed at the girl as her power skyrocketed, a brilliant golden aura surrounding his as her hair shifted to a similar golden hue. She was indeed a Super Saiyan! This would prove to be fun, indeed. If she was half as good as Legume the girl would definitely give him a run for his money. Since she transformed, he decided to return the favor. With a few strange hand signs, Tora summoned a strange blue mist around him. His muscles tensed and tightened as his power level began to skyrocket. The girls vision would be skewed for a moment and from the mist a giant tiger stepped out, albino fur gleaming in the sunlight. Atop of the creature stood Tora, grinning like a mad fool. He had been training- he had gotten a bit tougher since his last fight. She felt closer to the level he used to be at. This would be fun- a prime opportunity to test his mettle against a worthy foe. The old tiger laughed at Tora, nestling down comfortably on the ground as Tora stepped down off the beast. "I'll be watching this one, Little Tiger... Train her well!" "Alright alright- fine. Suit yourself. One on one works better anyways..." Tora countered, cracking his knuckles. He was no longer shirtless- a strange chitinous armour covered his body, sharpened into claws and a razor-like tail. His blue mane stretched down to his lower back, and he had taken on some more bestial characteristics. With a flicker of motion, he unleashed a combination assault on the girl, a flurry of clawed slashes aimed her way. Nothing too elaborate- just trying to put some pressure on the girl. "Let's see how strong you are, Super Saiyan!" Cassava wasn't sure what to expect when this Earthling man did some odd things with his hands. Alas, a thick mist ensured. She rubbed at her newly teal eyes to ensure she wasn't dreaming, but surely, a giant tiger had emerged from nowhere. The blonde woman stared up to witness Tora riding upon the thing like it's master, little did she know, it was quite the opposite. "Did that…thing just talk?" Cassava stumbled over her words. Perhaps calling it a 'thing' wasn't the best choice of words. Alas, anyone would be shocked to see such a sight. Besides that, it was laughing, and speaking with Tora as if it were an old friend. This wasn't a fight Cass was expecting to win, but a good one to test the extent of her power. Tora cracked his knuckles, and Cassava brandished a smile as she took a loose fighting stance. It was something that she learned in the military, but she wasn't around long to commit it to memory. She had grown accustomed to her own fighting style, one that suited her striker style of fighting well. Tora was on the move though. There wasn't time for words. He was fast. Still, Cassava was no snail. She weaved between his strikes. Her bright eyes focusing on his body and his style of fighting. He clawed, simple as that. It was all he needed to do. Still, the woman was quick on her toes, the wrapped arm that she hid with bandages erupting with what could only be described as a flame. She lashed forth, similarly clawing at the man with a flaming furry of slashes. All the while though, there was a sickening scent filling the air around the man. Perhaps it was magic. Tora grinned at the girl as she weaved and dodged his attacks with surprising grace and dexterity. She was indeed a Super Saiyan- the Tiger of Earth was impressed. She seemed more capable than he had ananticipated. The brandished a giant almost flaming claw, presumably created through either ki or some magical means. She assaulted him and Tora managed to dodge her attacks, albeit barely. In fact, her very ki seemed to have a poisonous effect to it. Her essence threatened to drain him of his strength- fortunately, the blue mist that surrounded Tora functioned to defend him from the miasmic ki. If he hadn't fought so many fighters who utilized a similar technique, he may have been taken off guard. This was real talent. Her ability to attack and defend was impressive. It was strange- he had just wanted to find an impressive fighter he could work alongside. She was a definite candidate for some joint heroism. Steam seemed to gather around the martial artist, as he focused his energy into hardening his muscles to further shield him from impact. If he got hit by that big burning claw, he'd be hurting. Tora had to keep that from happening. The Tiger had no choice. He applied more pressure this time, closing in at an alarming speed and aiming a slash at her belly. Then he would attempt to weave to the side opposite her claw, aiming a rapid flurry of slashes as he circled around her, ending with a kick to her ribs. "Let's see how fast you really are!" he exclaimed. He was ready to have some fun. This girl was sure to have some more tricks up her sleeve. Er, claw. Tora was hard to read. Despite her whiffing her first round of attacks, the man still seemed wary of her. Her lips curved into the most devious of smiles as she tried to plan her next moves carefully. Tora was a fighter who relied on his speed, he was flexible and wiry at the same time. This could be problematic, but at the very least, it would be a damn good workout. A fire ignited in her soul at the prospect of there being people in this galaxy stronger than her. Ambition flooded her veins at the thought. "You're good! It's been a while since I've fought someone, and they haven't laid down right away," Cassava spoke heartily. Still, there were no time for words. This tiger was now testing her speed. And she failed. The Saiyaness managed to hold her forearms in and crouch to avoid a major wound to the stomach. But the annoying slashes all around ripped through what was already tatters for clothes. Peachy skin bled red as she gasped in pain. Her body stumbling as she tried to regain momentum. "U—Ugh. This is a bit vicious for a spar eh?" Cassava spoke through a pained voice as she grasped at her bleeding flesh. She had no time to lick her wounds. She had a point to prove. Her body light up like a lightbulb, and her power focused in on the Roaring Tiger of Earth. She moved with primal rage. Her teal eyes locking on the steel-blue haired man as her claw again attempted to slash wildly. In her final attack she would aim to wrap the curling fingers around his neck and subdue the warrior. "I am not gonna go down until I'm knocked out though!"

Tora was grazed by her first strike, it chipping away at his armor. From there he got a better read on her moves and manage to somehow see through her combination. The martial artist dodged each attack, moving out of the way almost instinctively. "You can do better than that!" From there, he dematerialized from view, reappearing in front of the girl with closed fists. She was right- his slashes might be too much for her right now. He didn't want to hurt her or maim her. Well, not too bad at least! He aimed a left handed jab towards her face, following up with an elbow to her chest with the opposite arm. Then, a devastating knee, choosing to stay so close to the arm that it would struggle to reach for him. Hopefully the strategy would pay off. "Let's turn this up a notch, shall we?" he inquired as he attacked, the blue mist unfurling more impressively from his body. "That claw should be more useful than you're letting it be... if you want to be primal- be primal! Let the beast out!" He hoped his instruction would help her and not fall on deaf ears. He had heard Saiyans loved to fight- he wondered what she was capable of, really. She- like him- was young. Tora was interested to see what else she had to offer, the girl fought with discipline and strength. "I can?" Cassava replied enthusiastically at Tora's comment on her doing better. Sadly, she was lacking a bit of confidence that she could. The woman scowled, her teal eyes locking on Tora, but he soon disappeared and reappeared right before her. She scowled. Then his fists came flying. A few managed to connect but she managed to narrowly avoid the elbow to her chest. Speaking of chests; hers was heaving at this point. She sighed and pulled herself to her feet as she tried to regain her composure in this fight. She would be doing a disservice to the Tiger dude if she couldn't even last a few exchanges of fists with him. "Turn it up?" She huffed. She had thought they were going all out. Still, the man before her had more tricks up his sleeve. Alas, he offered advice to the Saiyaness. She listened intently, her head nodded in agreeance. "Primal eh? The beast? I …" Cassava sighed while uncofidence filled her voice.. Her eyes fell shut as she tried to give it another shot. Perhaps this time she would manage to get a hit on the man. The fist of her oversized and flaming fist clenched. Then, she was off. Again, she tried to pinpoint and anticipate Tora's movements. The Tiger of Earth evaded most of the girls attack from her giant claw- one actually managed to get through Tora's speed, but he simply raised his arm and blocked it with his forearm. The force of impact sent him back a few inches, and he grinned. Twice now she had hit him. Not hard, but the fact she could land a blow on him was impressive. Truth be told, however? He wasn't going all out. She had yet to push him. But Tora was colored intrigued. Her ability to attack was impressive. The real problem was - in Tora's opinion - the lack of faith she had in herself. Tora believed he could defeat any foe. If not with his strength, with his heart. There is a power that exists within good people. Tora thought this girl might have it. Something about her seemed honest. "Another tip..." he said, his foot sliding back a few inches as he dropped into his combat stance. "Stop worrying so much about reading my moves. You're a lucky girl- you have that air about you. Rely on your natural luck and skill, let your instinct take over. You're a natural. I can tell. Not like me- this took practice to learn!" With that, he dematerialized with a sonic boom. With tremendous speed it was as if he attacked from all sides, surrounding his in a tempest of punches and kicks. From there, now positioned above her, he brought his leg in a downward arc, the force of his kick incredible. If he missed, it would most definitely leave a decent crater. If it hit, the girl would be pushed into the Earth. Tora didn't often display his raw strength. In actuality, if he ended up striking a spot it was with purpose. He wanted somewhere for a pool of water to gather, and intended on carving out a small pond here, to complement the new crag that the Demon King had crafted. Cassava was floundering. Her face was visibly flustered now. Despite her attempts to at least land attacks on the man, she was still disappointed that the damage they inflicted were minimal. It wasn't that she wanted to hurt this warrior. No, she wanted to feel powerful in battle. She wanted to at least present a challenge. Right now, she wasn't. He offered more advice, her eyes widening at the comment. He…was encouraging her? Her cheeks turned red, and the claw that laid to her side clenched. "A-All right then. You're right, I'm being too analytical and brash. It should be like a dance eh?" Cassava nodded and smiled. Still, it was time to prepare her defenses. The raging tiger exploded forth with a sonic boom. She felt her very ear drums seemed to shatter. Her bright eyes widened, and she looked for the man. He was, all around her. Try as she might, she could deflect the damage of a few of the blows, still, a good number landed and bruised her body in various spots. "U-Ugh. D-Damn it!" Cassava inhaled sharply, blood filling her mouth. Suddenly, he was above her. His leg shot down. She tried to brace some of the damage with her forearms, but the connection shattered her arms. She felt as if the bones were about the break, if not for the katchin gauntlet that shielded her. Still, the tremendous force cracked the ground, a crater forming beneath her. Her knees buckled, and she pushed off the attack and moved in synchrony with him. From her gauntlet emerged a hidden blade. Tora smiled genuinely at the other fighter. She was listening well- somehow she managed to fend off his onslaught and counterattack. She actually caught him off guard with a hidden blade. It wasn't the blade that struck him- rather his need to evade the blade that allowed her to smash into him full force with her claw. It sent him careening backwards as she struck with surprising strength. Some of his armor cracked off, and Tora sprung back to action with more laughter. The youthful martial artist phased back to his newfound friend's side, grinning at her from ear to ear. He seemed relatively unphased by her attack other than the excitement... he was bursting with it at this point! The mist-like aura surrounded him again as he spoke: "That was pretty cool!!! I didn't expect the hidden blade. You're crafty. Now-- if you don't mind some more tips... that claw isn't just to swing around. Use it defensively, evasively... you could probably toss yourself around just as easily as you could someone else." From there he dematerialized once more, appearing to her in almost three different spots at the same time with the speed he moved with. One punch to her chin, another to her chest, and finally a spin kick to her stomach. Tora didn't utilize just his speed to do this- no. The martial artist had realized something about his own fighting style when he had fought against Kuueru and Kaijin. If he relied on his instincts he could transcend his own limitations for movement. Even when fighting against fighters like the saiyan named Legume who seemed to transcend time itself with their speed, Tora could react. "Let's see how you cope with this!" Tracker Crushed! Cassava noted the goofy smile on the other's face in the heat of battle. She managed to draw a bit of damage out of the man with her claw, though she was hoping that her blade would draw blood. Alas, hitting Tora would do her better than not landing a strike on him and humiliating herself. Was he laughing? The Saiyan tried to track him, and soon Tora reappeared at her side. She paused, looking over to him as he spoke and the mist engulfed his frame once more. More tips.
What was this, a tutorial? Cassava chuckled under her breath, but her bruise ribs cut her laugher short. She simply nodded and tried to take the man's advice to heart. He wasn't trying to school or embarrass her, in fact, he was polite with his words. She felt comfortable, well, as comfortable as she could with such injuries. "You're right. Okay, I can give it a shot. This arm has way more power in it than most of my body."
Tora was gone. It was as if he had clones, his body shifting with such a speed she could barely keep track of him with her eyes. Alas, he was detoured from her last hit still. The punch to her chin was cupped with her massive burning claw of a left arm. Still, the one to her chest winded her. Her body grinded to a halt after skidding back for a few meters. Cassava struggled to gather her breath, but the man's legs were already flying towards her guts. She did as he said, pushing her oversized fist into the ground and catapulting over the man. From there, her own legs began to take flight. Her boots also housed hidden blades which she aimed to slash at him randomly in a flurry of spinning kicks. Once on her feet again she moved in quickly, in a wide sweep she sent her claw towards the man's ankles in a sweeping slash. Then pushed forwards with the blade housed in her gauntlet for her torso. Huh. So she really was learning fast. A series of slashes painted Tora's body- he managed to deftly evade several of them, but the wild flurry managed to slash into Tora's armor, damaging it. More of it crumbled to pieces, but it did the job. None of the slashes really cut too deep into him. Finally, however, she attempted to sweep him off his feet- that was the opening Tora needed. "Be careful with this big ol' claw! It's easy to read compared to your hidden blades. Your style is obvious right now- put pressure on, find an opening to best use your claw. You did well to change up the use of it, but push it even further! I bet if you use the weight of it to offset your slim frame you can perform feats of dexterity and brute strength even I'm incapable of." With incredible dexterity he leapt atop the giant claw as he spoke and it swept towards his feet, using it as leverage to gain some speed. He aimed a punch for the girls face, following through with a spinning flip into another downward kick. As he flipped around he'd attempt to noose his tail around the girls shoulder that controlled her claw- With rotating force he attempted to dislocate the shoulder, hopefully limiting her range of motion and forcing her to think outside the box. She was too reliant on that claw- he wanted to see how she'd fare without it. This girl seemed to have a prodigious skill level with fighting- she learned quick and had a good eye for brawls. Tora wanted her on his side. See, during the course of this play battle he had found a new passion: teaching. Instructing this girl was actually enthralling to the Tiger of Earth. She had quite a bit of skill and the power to back it up- in fact, with that ki-infused claw he'd probably really be able to teach her a few unique tricks so she could push her fighting style even further. And Saiyans always were tenacious and determined in a fight. He wouldn't mind having her around to back him up- Tora imagined their fighting styles would meld together well. "Stay focused. Keep moving." he continued instructing. Tracker Crushed! Damn. Though she was connecting her hits, all they managed to do was crack away at the armor that coated his body. She was exhausted, and that was just an understatement. She wobbled back to an upright position, her chest heaving as a sign of her fatigue. She wasn't sure how long this fight would drag on, but at least they were both having a good time. Right? "S-Slim?" Despite all the advice Tora offered her, his comment on her frame caused her face to light up. Her gaze wandered off towards the forest around them that was still recovering. Perhaps this man had learned a lot in his time all along here, perhaps she had assumed that her training and time fighting was enough. Perhaps she was wrong. His fist slammed smack dab into her face. She could feel the cartilage in her nose snapping beneath his blow. It wasn't over though, a downward swipe of his leg founded her already broken face into the dirt. Stunned, she was somehow able to stumble out of the way of his lurking tail. She gasped, her hand pressing over the now fountain of crimson that stained her face and ran like a river from her nostrils. "G-Guh."
"FINE! I'll face you. . . with my pure self!" The golden-haired girl shouted in frustration. The massive arm shrank, it's crimson ki with it. She was left with an arm the same size as her normal one, alas, it was stained black as night from shoulder down. Now, her extremities all were ablaze with the brilliant red energy. A wide vertical kick sent one of her long legs towards the Tiger's head. She quickly shifted her weight to her hands and her lower body twisted like a child's top. Tora watched as her arm returned to its previous size after she fended off his last assault. She seem ragged- as if the fight was drawing to a close. A moment later she came at him, full force. He managed to defend himself against her combination attack, Tora could tell she was hurting. She had slowed down considerably- he managed to counter her slashes with slashes of his own. "You know- this has been fun. Color me impressed. I'm gonna make an offer to you: stay here with me on this island for a few months. I'll teach you a trick or two, we can push your power to the next level... you have a lot of latent potential, and to be fair more raw destructive power than me." he said, still smiling at her. She had landed on her feet after the combo assault that she had just performed on him. "My only request is that you back me up if I need it- I'm assembling a rag tag group of heroes right now, you're my first candidate for teaming up now. I could use a Super Saiyan backing me up." From there, he closed the gap between the pair again. The martial artist spun on his heel, aiming to bury a kick into her gut. Then, if successful, he would follow after her as she was sent careening backwards, aiming one final punch into her gut. With bukujutsu he would fly at incredible speeds, aiming to smash the girl into a nearby smaller rock face. Then he would somersault backwards, landing on his feet and eyeing his opponent. If his attack landed, she'd be hurting. But still conscious- hardly. "What do you say? Want to get stronger with me?" he asked, laughing warmly again. He hoped that she would agree, he would get stronger too if she stuck around. Tracker Crushed! She was barely upon her own feet at this point. She wasn't going to last much longer in this fight, but she sure as hell wasn't about to fall back on her word and give up now. No, that wasn't the warrior's way to go; Cassava would be sure til fight until the end, hopefully then, Tora would be kind enough not to beat her unconscious body into oblivion.
"G-Guh. Glad someone is havin' fun at least," Cassava spit some blood upon the ground as Tora made his offer. Her eyes grew wide at the prospect, a bit of confusion wavering on her now blonde brows. Tora not only wanted to aid her journey to a better fighting style and strength, he also had similar goals of promoting justice through the galaxy. She was absolutely thrilled at the prospect, though taking a few months off to train with some island hermit sounded odd.
"Back you up huh? A hero squad? You know, that doesn't sound too bad my friend!" Cassava chuckled heartily before heaving over in pain. Alas, Tora was on the move again, his kick slamming straight into her already discolored and exposed midriff. She scowled in pain, but no words came out. Only a gasp for air and a near look of unconsciousness filling her eyes. She slammed backwards, stumbling enough to avoid his attacks, somehow, she was able to subconsciously react despite fading in and out of alertness.
She stumbled again, hearing Tora's voice break through her thoughts.
"I—I'll answer you when I'm all the way down!" Cassava yelled towards the man in a broken voice. Still, she still managed to start a running charge towards Tora, her claw reemerging as she held it out, this time though a blazing energy blast shot forth at the man's center of gravity. She followed through, her normal arm attempting to elbow the man's jaw before she ultimately tried one last kick to his stomach.
