MOTIVATIONS.
Cassava is motivated by her own improvements. Each step she takes to bettering her body and strength only makes her drive more ravenous. It's not so much about defeating enemies as much as it's the rewards of winning a fight. Each one grants her invaluable experience and power. That is Cassava's drive.
QUIRKS.
Cassava is a focused fighter who keeps her eye on the prize. Sometimes she is so focused she seems to miss jokes or is impervious to their effects. While she isn't the type to go around starting fights with others (much like a normal Saiyan), she will not turn away a challenger and is quick to jump the gun when mention of battle is brought up. If there is a threat to the universe, Cass will be sure to be there ready to defend.
BONDS.
Bint: Her father and proud Oozaru warrior. Spending much of her time with her father as a child made Cassava into the woman she is today. Placing a strong value on physical strength, Cassava was taught from a young age to value her body and to take care of it accordingly. Since retiring after his Wife's death, Bint made sure to leave what knowledge he could with Cassava, most of his personal battles from there on were against his own daughter. While Bint is still living among the stars as a renegade, Cassava has long since lost contact with the man; though not of her own volition.
Melody: A talented medic in the field of battled, Melody fought many a battle before ultimately succumbing to the waves of war. After her death her husband Bint took his leave from the fields of battle and chose to focus on personal battles. Losing his wife seemed to take away his drive of destruction as a giant ape. While Cassava wasn't as close with her mother, the loss was certainly felt. Soon afterwards, Cassava took up traveling the galaxy to protect those in need who didn't have the strength to stand up for themselves.
BACKSTORY.
It all began at a ripe young age. Saiyans have that drive for greatness from an early point in life, it wasn't long before both of her parents began to instill their ideals of the Dominion into the girl. She worked hard, training her body to the upmost it could be. While her ki use is there, she relies on heavy physical training and strength to meet her goals on and off the battlefield. Her strikes are infused with ki, a skill she managed to pick up from her mother before her untimely demise.
Her father Bint was a moderate ranking officer in the Dominion. He mainly worked on training with the Oozaru special forces. He utilized the most raw and savage of Saiyan abilities to catch entire planets off guard with sheer force. Cassava idolizes her father, though she chooses not to fight with the giant ape form herself. She would much rather fight hand to hand on even terms to determine a victor in raw talent and strength.
Her mother Melody was quite the talented ki user. Though instead of direct combat she worked as a medic and support personal on the field. Usually she would accompany the Oozaru squad, both coincidentally to help her husband, but also to ensure the success of the squad. With intense magical abilities she was once said to bring back an entire platoon from the brink of failure. Both of Cassava's parents stories were filled with nothing but honor.
After a long service alongside her people own in the Dominion Cassava began looking for a more meaningful existence. The Saiyan warrior excelled in both her missions and in her personal bouts among her peers. Fighting is in her blood and she strives only to grow stronger and make companions with those same ideals. She is often first to answer a call for help, despite her cold outward appearances she is truly a helpful hand in the galaxy.
CALL TO ACTION.
What other call to action does a Saiyan need than their linage?! Like most of her race the woman strives to improve her own physical capabilities as well as make a name for herself. While military service isn't her calling anymore, she would like to be a force to be reckoned with on her own. Hiding behind masses of others isn't her style. Perhaps one day the Saiyan warrior will aim to be a hero among the stars, a defender of the people, and an idol for those to look up to.
