As Kuueru, Kaijin and Grey descended down into the market district, they would be able to notice that something was taking place. The usual pace of the market was all but gone, all the people dispersed across the 'streets' and the bazaar had collected in gathering places, forming orderly rows and swiftly handing each other out blasters, combat gear and other items from caches stored within houses and buildings. Some were climbing on houses and scouting out their respective areas for any suspicious individuals in their vicinity. Someone had, apparently, raised the alarm that there were infiltrators in the camp and everyone was responding accordingly. Almus was among the crowd, jumping from person to person, trying to understand the gist of the situation, before, with the corner of his eye, he finally noticed his trusted subordinate entering the market, alongside one of her own followers, carrying a body on his shoulder. The leader of the Black Star made his way through the crowd, shouting: " Sasha!" Interesting, she only had one of her followers with herself this time... Usually, she either goes to a mission alone or brings everyone under her wing, there's no point in half-assing it... Maybe something happened out there which made her lose track of the rest of her squad, he'll have to ask. " Sasha, what happened out there?" Almus immediately raised the question, stopping in front of his subordinate with his hands placed on his hips. The woman mentioned about catching a spy and then suddenly cut off all communications with everyone, that was immediately something he had to raise suspicions over. " And where did you put the rest of your squad? We're going to need them, and fast." OOC: Legume I do want to participate, but what choice do I have? I need to wait until either a battle happens or I am called. Dain would not jeopardize a mission. I offered the group to take me in as a prisoner, they wisely declined that. ————————————————————————————————————— Dain could still follow the group with his senses and even follow some of the conversations they had through the nanobots of the good doctor. It seemed they even managed to meet up with Almus, which was good. He bore them no ill will, as it was his own equipment that had failed and if he was honest this type of mission was not his forte to begin with. He was a hunter. Subterfuge, as had been just proven, was not his forte at all. Of course as a proud Saiya-Jin he hated to be dismissed, but the more he thought about it, the more he believed them to be right. Still he hated to run around useless. It might not have been his mission, but he decided to be useful nonetheless. Call it a shred of professional honor. As he walked through the camp, across the market and towards the arena he observed carefully. Listening to what the people around him where saying and trying to memorize the lay-out of the camp and the technology available. Even if it was not useful right now, the Black Star were not going to vanish if their leader was taken out. They would start crumbling, but that would also make the more dangerous. They might start to panic and lash out at the empire. He figured any first person information he could relay back to the empire might be useful. If not, at the very least he had not sat around. To be fair though there was not much to mark. The place was a shambles and the while strength of these people laid in the fact that there was nothing. There were no strong points to mark, no defensive obstacles to warn the empire about. Not even the market was interesting. If it got destroyed, these people would simply rebuild it in a different location in a matter of hours. “How is everyone doing? Anything you want me to do?” He asked softly, just as he reached the arena. It was more a matter of habit though, rather then expecting instructions. ICE COLD Kuueru, while still mimicking Sasha's appearance, looked calmly towards the creamy headed man assisting in aiding everyone in the marketplace. It didn't take the leader of the Black Star to notice her presence. However, not only did he notice her presence but the lack of the rest of her team. Kuueru's features turned grim, anger filling her expression soon after. "I thought I could handle this spy, but I underestimated him. He got a few of my team members in the meantime. I-I failed. As for the rest of them, they are scouting the radio tower for any more surprise allies of the one we caught here."Sasha let a sigh play from her lips after explaining the situation. She reached for the communicator at her belt and nodded affirmingly towards the man, her 'boss'. "I can call them back here at any time, I didn't think this was a full-on assault, just a couple curious eyes." Kuueru spoke with a voice filled with frustrations. She tried her best not to think about what the fourth member of their party was off doing, she mentally prepared to get the team off the planet at any moment. Anywhere would do! Perhaps a nice trip to Port Briefs

While asleep Grey would find himself in a dream where he seems to be him drifting through the void of space as if it was nothing. It was beautiful, staring into the vast universe and realizing just how small and insignificant one's self is when compared to the universe. All of the stars he sees far away are all planets, suns, or even moons. He could try to swim all he could to reach one of those stars and he would barely get close enough to touch it before he would be awoken from his slumber. Of course in the realm of the subconscious sleeper anything is possible especially if you are an lucid dreamer.
"Ah, I managed to find you in the collective unconscious. The one who came into contact with a part of me. Nikolas Grey." a mysterious voice said.
Doctor Grey knew where that voice come from, all too well. He heard the voice come from the meteorite that altered his DNA and made him no longer human. While at first he thought he was going crazy he then found out that the meteorite itself is somewhat alive. The last time he heard that voice was when he was given whispers on how to translate the coding of that Data Pad he hacked into back on Planet Krese. Now it is talking to him in a dream, or is this whole dream conjured by this creature.
"So the meteorite came from you, who and what are you?" Grey asked.
"I have no name, no one addressed to me as such. As for what I am I am a being much older then this universe and the ones beyond. There were others like me, and we were attracted to lights of your universe and saw these strange beings that were weak and disgusting. We came to war with the ones that are called Gods of these universes and many of my ilk were killed. However, I managed to slip into this universe and made a protective shell around my true form to keep me hidden from the gods. Eventually my shell was covered in dust and debris and I now blend in as an asteroid drifting through space." the voice explained.
Grey was trying to comprehend what the voice is explaining to him. It's not unheard of that there would be multiple universes, but beings that existed before the universes were even created of immense power. One that could survive in the vacuum of space for millenniums. This can't be the actual voice speaking to him this must be a dream. He is just remembering that voice and his subconscious made a dream of him speaking to it.
"If you are in the middle of space how do you know so much, like my name for instance?" Grey asked.
"I understand your skepticism, do not fret my brainchild I am real as you and the universe around you. I am able to see my surroundings and have been studying and observing the universe. And I begin to saw potential in these fleshy beings as some managed to become strong and even stronger then the abominable gods that fought with my ilk, they have the potential to become so much more. A piece of my carapace came off when a meteor struck it and it seemed to hit your planet and made contact with you. The energy emanating from my shell seemed to have warped your genetic structure and allowed your brain to be able to store and memorize more knowledge then it ever could, while also allowing me to link with you and see how you are progressing." the voice said.
"So your energy is like some kind of mutagenic nootropics?" Grey asked.
"Nu...trop..eks....yes. I like that, that shall be the name you shall refer to me as from now on. Although it was not coincidence that my piece came into contact with you specifically. I watched you before and noted your intelligence, hatred for your own species, and your lust for knowledge. I simply guided my piece to you so that you could use your power and help improve these mortals. So that every creature of this planet can be all equal once they have reached the peak of evolution." the voice that now refers to itself as Nutropeks states.
Grey is still somewhat skeptic, but he even is doubting if he would ever dream something like this up. Yet there was one thing on his mind. A question that would answer if this is truly his dream or some outer being speaking to him.
"Where are you then, surely you can make yourself appear in my mind." Grey asked.
He then thought of what he thinks it would look like, so that if it looks like anything he thought up then he knows it is just a dream that doesn't mean anything. And then saw himself covered in shadow and turned around and saw a massive form. Covered in a hard spiky shell with a strange beak like mouth that had an eye inside. It was covered in dust and debris, it's colossal size also made it looked like a planet killing asteroid. He had many thoughts before about what the being the voice came from would look like, although none of them were the being he saw before him.

So close, yet so far.
Kaijin had been many things in his rather short tenure of life, if one could even call the existence of an Android "life". He had started his life out as a tool, an assassin working for the greedy Doctor Evelyn Janus, a discredited doctor who turned to crime and the black market to make her money. Selling her greatest creation to kill for crime lords was of no moral conflict for her. To such an extent, much of Kaijin's initial training was in the field of stealth, infiltration and ultimately murder. However, even this was different. The primary basis of his stealth capabilities came from the principle of "being seen but not noticed". The fact that he, as an Android, did not hold a Ki Signature meant that already gave him an advantage against Ki users who were used to finding their quarry by focusing on their spiritual presence. Thus, he could easily hide amongst the crowds, and reach his target often by simply blending into the scenes. It was a tactic he often employed, up until recently. His status as an Imperial Doctor, and one with a great deal of screen and media time had stripped him of such an advantage, and now he had to play a different game.
Now, he had to actively play a role. A daunting task it was, to take on the persona of one who was not yourself, and portray them well enough to fool even those who worked closely with the original. Kaijin did not envy Kuueru's position, nor did he feel as if he could portray the woman as accurately, given that he often struggled with portraying emotions himself, let alone adopting and playing the part of another organic. However, he had his part to play, as well. Shouldering his rifle, a quick scan merited what he thought. Even though Black Star seemed disorganized, when it came down to it, every seemingly normal "citizen" morphed into a revolutionary, a militiaman. A trained soldier spurred by varied training and a vision for the future.
If they made their move now, even if they managed to successfully kill Almus, getting off Planet Liberty would be...well, a difficult journey indeed. His grip on the unconscious and disguised Grey tightening slightly, Kaijin allowed Kuueru to continue to speak, all the while communicating with her telepathically.
We need to disperse the crowd...get Almus alone, so we can complete this mission and extract ourselves. Perhaps Dain can offer distraction of some form to divert attention, and create disorder and confusion?

" Ah..." What Sasha informed Almus about was highly worrying. The assailant she met was apparently strong enough to overpower her and several of her guards at once even with their energy suppressed and leave several of them dead. The Empire must have been escalating their efforts to try to decapitate the Black Star before they are able to begin their great crusade, if they were sending agents this powerful into Planet Liberty. Thankfully, at least Sasha looked safe and healthy - surprisingly healthy, for someone who had gotten into a fight with someone this strong, she was in oddly pristine condition - and the rest of her unit were still around and patrolling the surroundings of the radio tower. They're going to need them, and immediately. Almus nodded at the rest of Sasha's explanation and replied: " Thanks for the report, Sasha. Recall your followers as soon as possible, we're going to need them. I'm not sure if our comrades are all ready for the prospect, but I fear we can't afford waiting any longer. The Abbayor garrison is still on the edge of mutiny, but if the Empire continues escalating these assaults on Liberty, then we might lose the chance to strike south forever." It was... hasty, and could result in complete failure. But Almus was willing to make that gamble regardless. The pink-haired revolutionary looked around, just in case he might register a familiar face among the crowd, then turned back towards Sasha and her guard, speaking: " I'll call up Tarno as soon as I can contact him, meet up with me at the radio tower. We'll iron out a plan of operations from there." The sound of a Saiyan newbie calling out to the soldiers working out and sparring in the arena immediately got many of the Black Star warriors in the dusty, dirty ground to perk up and turn towards the new arrival. From the other side of the arena, a Namekian in a ragged cloth stood up from intense meditation, cracked a smirk and began walking towards the Saiyan. " Welcome, young man. My name is Tarno, it is good to see a young and strong warrior join our cause." the Namekian spoke, nodding. Before the words of Almus Alvazar swayed him to join the Revolution, Tarno was but one of the many members of the Immortal Clan, the spawn of the immortal Namekian lord Trombone who tried to claim Namek for himself two years ago with an army of his children, only to be defeated by a few heroes from Earth. Tarno was never a firm believer in his father's ideals of a strong and powerful Namek, however - and after surviving the onslaught on Namek, he turned to the Black Star as his new salvation. The one faction which professed peace as their first goal. " I do want to know something, young man. What is your opinion on war? A futile endeavor? A horror? Or... are you one of those fooled by Sasha into thinking it might be justified?" 'Sasha' stood there, her dull gaze meeting Almus before turning to her comrades with a stern look. She quickly retrieved the communicator from her hip and turned away from the group.
"Guys, looks like we are heading back out to the tower, everyone congregates there. Move in," She spoke, her words melting like butter through the air. It would have gone through clearly too, if the mystical demon was holding down the button. She even went as far as to create the sounds of someone on the other side of the line responding. Magic was an oddity, but something she made use of daily.
She turned back towards Almus, her eyes a bit wide, perhaps with excitement that the time was coming. She would be ready to lead the strike against Abbayor, and finally let the carnage fill her to the brim.
She nodded with a faint grin. Though, it didn't soften any of the former patrolwoman's features. She still looked experienced and hard to the core.
"Tarno huh? He'll get a kick out of this, I'll see you there once I have collected my team." Sasha spoke, her arms folding over her chest as she awaited their departure. All this running around in the desert was becoming a real drag.
Telepathically she reached back out to Kaijin.
'All right. At least getting him away from this crowd should be better, I hope.' With that, the motley crew watched Almus trail off. Kuueru sighed a breath of relief and turned to look at the looming tower in the distance.

"I know all there is to know of this universe. However, I have no knowledge of the other universes besides knowing there are only eleven other universes. I have no knowledge of how one can access other universes besides the fact that those GODS are able to move around them freely. You probably have a lot more questions but I want to ask something that has been on my mind ever since I started to study you. Why are you persistent to learn everything, why do you want to gain knowledge?" Nutropeks asked.
Only twelve universes, he was expecting there to be an infinite amount. Sure each universe is probably as large his but something about only there being twelve is kinda disappointing to the doctor. And now it seems that unfathomable being before him has a question. To know why the doctor is so persistent on learning. An easy question, as only he could be able to answer it.
"Why does anyone want to learn Nutropeks? People learn to gain new skills like learning how to drive a car or to speak a new language, while others learn to correct themselves to prevent them making the same terrible mistake they made before again, scientists also learn how viruses and diseases function so that they could be eradicated to save many lives, and I am no different. Everywhere I go I see another blight on this vast universe full of so much potential that is often squandered or misused, and on Earth it was the worst of them all as I saw all of the horrible mistakes that plagued it like viruses: idiotic politicians that worm their way to higher positions to gain more power with no regards for the people, people fighting and arguing each other over the most asinine reasons, resources being squandered and wasted, and a weak biologically inferior race in a universe full of titans with power to destroy planets. I wish to learn everything so I can correct those mistakes so that everyone is equal in power, strength, mind, and ability, just imagine if everyone had the poison resistance of the Majin's, the durability of the Saiyan's, or the regenerative properties of the Namekians. I only want to fix all of the flaws that the universe holds so that there would be no discourse or in fighting once everyone has reached the peak of evolution." Dr. Grey explained.
It seems that Nutropeks really liked this answer as he began laughing so hard that it echoed throughout the vast space of this dream realm.
"I was right to pick you Dr. Grey, you just might be the one I have been looking for all of these years!" Nutropeks saidPost Count: 10 | Tag: Legume Doctor Kaijin Vex Queen Kuueru Dain Sincara

From all the rabble in the arena, Dain quickly spotted the Namekian as he got up. Yes from his point all the warriors in the arena were nothing but common rabble. He had to admit they were somewhat skilled and some even generated some KI, but they were soldiers and warriors. Nothing more, nothing less. Something Dain actually could appreciate and he wished he could have had the time to just mingle a bit. It had been a while since he hang out with soldiers. The Namekian was different though. Despite the rags Dain could sense he was something more, although he found it difficult to properly gauge the man. "Welcome, young man. My name is Tarno, it is good to see a young and strong warrior join our cause." The Namekian said as he came closer and Dain responded with a nod. Even if the term young was a bit wrong, he could not blame the Namekian. His cursed body did not allow him to age and as all Saiya-Jin, he looked like he was in his battle prime. “It is my pleasure to be here. The name is Dain.” He replied friendly, with a small nod of respect to a fellow warrior. The next question did catch him of guard though. It was obviously a trick question. If he came on to eager it might be suspicious, yet a soldier who did not love battle… Then suddenly it hit him and Dain answered the man as honestly as he could. “I am a warrior and a Saiya-Jin, so I won’t deny that I love to fight and do battle.” He replied with a grin, before becoming serious. “As a soldier though, I detest war. It is not honorable, a waste of life and potential. I am not too fond of being a pawn for generals to sacrifice to gain ground. However I do believe that sometimes it can be necessary. If I did not believe that, I would have become a farmer.” He replied seriously as he explained his view of war. It was the truth. He hated it. Wars were a waste, nothing more, nothing less. If there was going to be fighting, he preferred to do it alone and have a certain honor to it. Working in small groups was okay he guessed. He just did not see a point in throwing hundreds of thousands, possible millions of soldiers into the meat grinder. “Why do you ask though? I am a soldier and willing to serve, is that not enough?” He asked Tarno as he drew his sword and stabbed it into the ground to be able to rest casually upon. “If you want I could demonstrate my skills. Both with the blaster and the sword, I am not too shabby.”Post Count: 9 LegumedoctorgreyQueen KuueruDoctor Kaijin Vex

Dain, you will remain in contact with me telepathically. What is your position? We are heading back to the Radio Tower, and we have established contact with Almus. I am trying to work a way in which you can return to us undercover. Where are you currently?
The gears were turning now. On one side, they had botched their mission. If they were unable to kill Almus here and now, they had only sped up the terror attack on Abbayor. However, at the same time, they had sped up the attack on Abbayor, forcing Black Star to act before they were ready. If this team failed to dispatch Almus, the Empire would have a distinct advantage against the Black Star Terrorists, who were perhaps ill prepared for any type of spontaneous attack on the former Imperial capitol world. However, the mission was moving back into a steady pace. Kuueru was performing admirably as Sasha, the use of magic on her side proving more capable than even he could perform under. Kaijin's own role was relatively simple. A silent, stoic defender, who was expected to observe and guard. This role, while he did not have the type of position in which he could further Kuu' own cover, allowed Kaijin the time to think.
A War Room...planning of operations. Almus was calling for the mass movement of citizens turned troopers to the Radio Station, however he was also calling for operations planning. Even the most cohesive army units left some tasks up to the bigwigs, and operation planning was one of those delicate tasks, especially in light of recent security breaches that Black Star was suffering. Almus would have less people around him, relying upon his close officers to support him in the final hours of his plan. Even though he would be on his guard given the ever present threat of Imperial invasion, as well as the unknown status of the second "spy", he would have to keep his operation planning away from prying ears. Sasha, and this Tarno person being among his finest and most trusted advisors.
If we bide our time, we could salvage this operation just yet.
However, Tarno was a problem. Tarno was a loose end, an officer that Kaijin had yet to meet, and therefore could not properly account for. Sasha was unconscious and out of the picture, as well as trapped within his dynocapsule, her role being actively played by his ally. But Tarno was another factor. And although he was confident that he could successfully kill Almus even with Tarno's presence, he would prefer to have as many ruining factors out of the way as possible. Perhaps Dain could handle that. He already killed one man today, perhaps one more would do the trick?
Hopefully, it wouldn't need to come to that.
As Kaijin fell in line with the mass exodus to the Radio Station, the cloaked Android kept his gaze steady, his red eyes gradually shifting from left to right, actively scanning for "threats" in accordance with the role he played. He merely wait for a little while longer...play this game right, and they could all come out of this alive.

" You are correct. It is not just warriors we seek." Tarno replied to Dain's statement about merely being a soldier, lifting up his chin as he spoke up. " You did not arrive to an army, or a crusade. We, the Black Star, are here because we are the sentinels of the people, of the common man - and the common man despises war, suffering and destruction first and foremost. That is supposed to be our primary goal, to defend, not attack. It is good to hear that you see little reason in this suffering, even if there certainly are places you could-" Tarno suddenly stopped his ideological ramble, hearing a beeping sound in his pocket and pulling out a radio communicator to attach it to his pointy ear. " Mhm... correct... ah... I'll see you there." Tarno put the communicator back where it belongs and turned his eyes towards Dain, continuing: " Alas, I must take my leave. Our leader, Almus Alvazar, is calling me. Him and Sasha Qui need me for planning operations." With no further ado, Tarno departed, leaving the dusty training grounds and running to the dense camp beyond. One of the warriors nearby took an easier breath upon his departure, speaking: " Be glad you got spared of the rest, Dain - Tarno can get so preachy that he can ramble on for hours..." " Thank you. I'll need you to be there in five minutes tops. Me and Sasha should already be there." After relaying the command to Tarno and receiving a positive response, Almus turned off his radio communicator and shoved it back into his pocket, making his way through the "streets" of the camp. With almost everyone in the entire camp called up to their unit and awaiting further orders, the streets were mostly empty, though there were a few groups marching here and there, usually at haste. Something... was not right. Almus could not put his finger on it, everything so far seemed to follow procedure, but something was just feeling not right regardless. There, the radio tower is not far off. Already, the small shack underneath it where they record their messages to the outside world and discuss important matters face to face was visible. " Sasha, are you inside already? I don't think I can see you." the pink-haired revolutionary reported to his communicator at once. "Now then I answered your question I have one of my own. You mentioned before that there are others like you that have broken into this universe. How many of you are there?" Dr. Grey asks.
"I understand your concern knowing that there are others of my kind and you are right to be so as the others aren't as friendly to us. The gods gave us the name Outsiders, meant to be a derogatory term towards us but it fits us rather well and it takes more then a simple name to cause upset us, and most others of my kind tend to look at the lower life forms such as yourself as food or even lower then that. One such Outsider was on the planet Zalt and lost against some powerful beings which caused an end to it's life as one particular individual who has seemed to lost her humanity and became an Outsider herself ate the remains of them. I do not feel sorry for the loss of that one as they are not related to me by blood and the fact that they highly underestimated them which caused their own demise and ended up becoming nothing more as more energy to the woman. Do not worry though I have no need for sustenance I more see the species of this universe as potential to be something greater." Nutropeks explained.
Unlike those lesser scientists from Capsule Corp the Galactic Empire has information of the events of Zalt since the Galactic Patrol before the conversion covered it up. Understandably so as to not cause people to panic. Doctor Grey read up on it and was curious on the creature himself but apparently the creature's corpse was taken to be studied by Dark Mesa the Galactic Empire's finest minds working together for their most risky and unethical experiments in secrets. Grey wish he could be a part of that facility himself one day. Although he didn't answer his full question.
"I have heard of the one from Zalt but didn't know it was one of these Outsiders you mentioned, but you still haven't told me what, where, and how many of the others are there in this universe." Grey asked.
"Well we usually keep from each other, each one of us Outsiders aren't alike in our views or abilities. We don't exactly coordinate well and keep to themselves. All I know is that there are many others in hiding from the Gods eyes like me to avoid being given the same fate as the ones who died during the battle we had with them long ago. So long I can't exactly recall as I don't fully understand this concept of time you all fabricated. Although one I knew personally is currently under the control of the woman who killed the one from Zalt, his surface made to be sanctuary for refugee mortals that he is unable to consume, quite ironic really." Nutropeks explained.
A lot of these Outsiders seem to have a thing for eating people. Which makes Grey hesitant to trust this one, but then again if he was lying and using Grey to try to prepare his food so to speak for him then he wouldn't tell him how others of his kind ate people as well. Not to mention this one looks vastly different then the one from Zalt so perhaps they have a individuality differentiating them even more so then human individuality then it would make sense for this one to not want to consume humans especially considering this one spent hundreds and possibly thousands of years watching everything in the universe unfold to understand everything better. Especially considering the energy from his shard didn't kill Grey but merely altered his DNA and increase his cognitive abilities greatly.
"I see that you are starting to be worried, do not worry nothing I say is a lie." Nutropeks said.
Grey was broken from his thoughts to realize Nutropeks was reading them and realizes that this being probably has more control over him then he thought.
"Lying is beneath me as I find it an ugly concept, I assure you I want only want what is best for your species and help you all evolve so that you overthrow the Gods. You see those Shinjins and the Gods of Destruction, they don't deserve that title. All the so called Gods of Creation do is sow the seeds of life and just watch it develop from afar from the safety of their realm while the Gods of Destruction destroy entire planets and wipe out entire species as they see fit and frankly both are even failing at the positions they were bestowed. I merely want to help push you mortals so that you wouldn't need the gods anymore, and do what I and many of the others like me that have fallen could not. I already seen mortals that have managed to get to their level, but an army of such mortals is needed if you are to stand a chance against the one who rules over all of the gods." Nutropeks explained.
He heard about these so called Shinjin and the God of Destruction but he assumed Other World was just another dimension and that this so called God of Destruction was just a title that some really powerful person given to themselves of out arrogance. Although considering that Dr. Grey is speaking to a being beyond his understanding he is not sure what to believe anymore. His entire perception of reality is changing and so much information is being given to him. And yet it also excites him as he is being given knowledge that not many people know, the most enticing and dangerous kind of knowledge. Forbidden knowledge, and it gives him a euphoric feeling knowing all of these secrets.Post Count: 11 | Tags: Doctor Kaijin Vex Queen Kuueru Dain Sincara Legume

`Okay can do and I would be glad to lend assistance. I am currently at the fighting arena, speaking with a Namekian named Tarno. It seems like he is another of the lieutenants. I have no clue what I am going to do just yet, but I figured for now I will mingle a bit with the soldiers, so I don´t attract attention.´ Dain replied directly Kaijin, glad to be in contact with at least someone. He could do that and still listen to Tarno babbling for a long time. It felt more like a preach then a welcome and he was not unhappy when the man was interrupted by the radio. Though he was not to happy the man suddenly darted of. Somehow the timing felt of. The Namekian had been meditating, probably for a long time, yet now he was suddenly recalled. It was suspicious to say the least. `Kaijin, be alert. That Tarno, who I just spoke about, has been recalled by Almus and should be meeting him soon. Which presumably means he will be upon you soon. I can´t follow him carelessly, without raising suspicion. I will stay here a bit long and stay on standby until you need me. The camp is not that big. In case of emergency I can drop the pretense and join you all quickly.´ Dain reported telepathically, before turning his attention back to the warrior. “Well to be honest it would have been my first, so it is all new to me. However I can tell you have experience with it, so I will just be glad.” Dain said with a grin as he shrugged his shoulders and then turned towards the warrior completely. “However you seem competent. How do you feel about a bit of practice? It would be nice to see where I stand.” Dain said, his grin turning into a genuine smile, as he erected himself from his sword, sheathed it and slightly slid his feet back, signaling he was ready without forcing the situation. It was not the best situation. He would have preferred to follow Tarno, but it would simply have been too suspicious if he darted of. Even if he went into a different direct to throw them of, it would not have made any sense. He had just introduced himself after all. Perhaps the best thing he could do was quickly lose and then lick his wounds, in the general direction Tarno had just went to. Post Count: 11 LegumedoctorgreyQueen KuueruDoctor Kaijin Vex

ICE COLD Kuueru was unsure about what else could go wrong or right in the mission. She wasn't too worried. The woman was competent enough to take care of herself, but she would rather solve issues without the mass casualties that Almus sending his group against her would do. A sigh pressed from the woman's lips. The time for Sasha was upon them again as the shack came into view. That was the meeting spot all right. Almus wanted to meet there, alongside with another man named Tarno who was apparently a rival in ideas to Sasha. It was a lot to remember. The mannerisms you read off a person, their speech patterns, their general attitude. Kuueru scraped as much as she could from the woman during the speech. The woman in disguise dredged towards the black shack and opened the door. It was in shanties, but various equipment for audio work lined the walls. There were a few scattered chairs, a table between them all, and microphones hung haphazardly around it. "Hm," Sasha murmured before taking a seat in one of the unoccupied chairs. She assumed her entourage was coming. Still, for now she quickly turned to Kaijin. Her worried expression spoke in a hushed tone. "Is there any way we could gain bodies, for the rest of Sasha's entourage? I wish you had those damn Riot bots right now. Hopefully he's not too suspicious." Suddenly, her communicator went off. " Oh, yeah I am, sorry." Sasha replied, her head peaking out of the shack at anyone lurking outside.

So he has met Tarno. And Tarno is a Namekian.
Kaijin's mind was racing through calculations as he processed what Dain reported to him. Comparing the information he got from Dain along with the little bit that Almus alluded to, and what the audience at Sasha's speech earlier in the day had brought, Tarno was the other officer that Almus trusted, his other second in command. His plan to eliminate Almus in the privacy of the strategy room could be put in jeopardy with Tarno's arrival, no matter the division between his train of thought and Sasha's. Both were loyal to Almus Alvazar, and something about the pink haired revolutionary had managed to bind them to his goals, no matter how radical and short-sighted they were.
They were so close, yet so far.
Kaijin was in too close a position to Almus, to Sasha, to leave now in order to intercept Tarno. He could wake up Dr. Grey, of course, and release him in the prayer that he could stop the Namekian Lieutenant, but not only was he unsure of the doctor's ability to use his automatons under the reach of the damned energy dampener that hung over them like an inconvenient shroud, but he would've had to leave Sasha in order to even attempt to wake Grey without people seeing, and such an act in itself was risky, and could jeopardize the already fragile nature of this charade.
Sincara, do what you need to in order to keep appearances, whatever it is that you are doing now. However, if you see it within possibility to slip away and pursue Tarno, take it. If Almus can be alone with Kuueru and I for even a moment, we can take advantage of that. However, for that to happen, Tarno must not be allowed to make it to the Radio Tower. Nonetheless, if you cannot manage to do so, then very well. We will simply adapt and take advantage as we see fit from our end.
What did "take advantage as we see fit" exactly mean? Well, that hadn't been figured out yet. The best scenario Kaijin could see if Tarno arrived at the scene, was quickly dispatching Tarno AND Almus before they could make too much of a scene, scooping up Dain and teleporting the fuck off Planet Liberty. But, best case scenarios never worked out did they? Especially in this trainwreck of an operation. Perhaps the Galactic Patrol Black Ops Division of old needed to be revived in some shape or form, for leaving sensitive missions such as this in the hands of two scientists, a bounty hunter and the Supreme Commander (who was doing a swell job, mind you) didn't seem like the best of candidates for infiltration into the heart of a major terrorist operation. Boy would Command get an earful about this in the form of a strongly worded letter.
Following Sasha into the shack, Kaijin immediately began a quick sweep around the radio station, staying true to his position as a vigilant bodyguard. Even as Kuueru spoke to him in a hushed tone, Kaijin did not respond to her in words, for fear that there were listening devices planted around the area. Instead, he responded to her telepathically, as he did with Dain prior.
We just need to get him inside this shack. We cannot let him leave once he does, discovered or not. I have one Riot Soldier back on the ship, but I cannot activate it remotely from here without disconnecting my consciousness entirely from this body..which would essentially be me trading my body for my Riot Soldier temporarily...which I do not believe is optimal. I did not think to bring more...for I figured the less active bodies, the better. I did not expect this plan to go so awry. Kaijin spoke to her telepathically before addressing her aloud, returning to his "script"
"The interior is all clear, ma'am."

The warrior who had informed Dain about what he had just gotten away from, a yellow-scaled reptilian, put on a smirk when Dain turned towards him and began to speak, offering the two of them to have a spar to pass the time. Finally, someone in this entire arena is speaking sense. " I'm not sure if we have all that much time for a spar, Dain, but I'm sure nobody's going to be mad if we have a quick-" " Wait, Dain?! Dain Sincara?!" A raven-haired Earthling who had been sitting and brooding in the corner of the training grounds, wearing a black martial arts gi, suddenly stood up and picked up a blaster lying besides him, suddenly running towards the Saiyan with anger and fury in his eyes, and already raising his hand to aim before two of the fellow revolutionaries in his way suddenly grabbed him by the shoulder and restrained him. " D-Dammit, let me go!" the Earthling shouted, while the eyes of the entire training grounds turned towards him. The yellow-scaled reptilian warrior who had been speaking to Dain earlier opened up: " Aeolus, what are you doing?!" " Do you not see it, you idiots?! That Saiyan, that name... That's Dain Sincara, the god damn Imperial bootlicker mercenary!" Aeolus gushed out, his eyes locked towards the Saiyan. " That Imperial dog killed my father! Above Planet Pepper, he blew his ship into smithereens, and now he dares to join our forces?! D-damn it, you bastards, let me go!" Everyone's eyes turned towards Dain. " Explain yourself." " A-Ah, right. Sorry, I'm not really acting like myself today." Sasha's head peeking out through the window indicated that she was inside, so did her laconic message on the radio chatter, which indicated to Almus that it's about time to head in. Passing by the single member of the woman's entourage - why only one of them was around when he specifically asked for the rest of the platoon was still a question, but one he was willing to ignore for now - the leader of the Black Star entered the radio shack, immediately starting to prepare it for a planning meeting by cleaning up the table in the center, taking off much of the unnecessary radio equipment and electronics, and pulling out a rolled up paper map of the Northern Quadrant from one of shelves to place it on the emptied table instead. Paper maps. Most people in the Galaxy had never even seen what paper looks like. Electronics and holograms had long since replaced such a brittle, short-lasting and unwieldy substance. But electricity on Planet Liberty was scarce and they could not afford using it for expensive holographic 3D Galaxy mapping, so paper it is. " Do you need water, or something? Or painkillers?" Almus suddenly spoke up, turning his eyes towards Sasha. After all, she said she had just gotten into a fight against a fairly powerful agent... " We can't start this meeting without Tarno, anyway, so if you need something, be sure to ask." Slowly trekking across the camp, trying to keep up a brisk pace, Tarno didn't take long to make his way to the radio tower. The energy suppressor stored underneath the radio shack blocked his ki sense, so he could not tell whether Sasha and Almus were already inside, but what is he going to do, wait for them to show up? Besides, the door's unlocked. And guarded by one of Sasha's usual guards. She's surrounding herself with all of these blind followers, it was a clear turn towards dangerous statism in Tarno's mind. Who knows what she plans to do with them once the revolution succeeds? Try to seize power for herself? The Namekian did not want to accuse anyone, but he certainly held his suspicions... " Tarno here. Step aside, I'm here for a planning meeting." the Namekian spoke, moving past the Sasha Guard and already reaching for the doorknob. Well that went to hell quicker than he could have anticipated. He had not expected there to be someone who knew he fought with the emperor that day. Still the Saiya-Jin did not bat an eyelash as the outburst. There was a reason he always fought in disguise, like on that day. Even if his participation was known, nobody actually knew how he looked, aside from his black armor. Still at best that would cause reasonable doubt in this situation and a problem for the future. Even if he managed to diffuse the situation, his identity would be known once they took out Almus. That was a problem for him. This planet and everyone on it might need to vanish after all… He thought to himself, yet towards the group he did nothing but smile. “I am sorry, I am not the person you are seeking.” He merely responded as he shrugged his shoulders. “I might be called Dain and a Saiya-Jin, but I have nothing to do with the man you called Sincara. Just tell me, what reason would I have to join you if I were? I know the rumors and have been accused often enough, to make me research this Sincara. If I were so goddamn powerful, would I be here and join the ranks as a soldier? Why would I want to fight against the empire?” He replied casually, trying to fake just enough anger at the accusation to flare his nostrils. `Hmm sorry, I am too late and a situation is arising here. Nothing serious, but it will take a bit to resolve I am afraid. How is it going at your end. Any chance we can snatch Almus and make a quick retreat?´ Dain replied quickly to Vex, as he knew Tarno was already out of his reach. “Now I suggest you calm down a bit. I understand you are suspicious, but I honestly can´t help it if I am a Saiya-Jin called Dain.” Dain continued, as he diverted his attention back to the soldier. His mind raced as to finding a way to resolve the situation. In the end he could not find one he liked, so he tried it with one he had used more then once. “If I was this mercenary dog, why would I be here, trying to join you? What purpose could I have for being here, in the fighting arena?” He asked as he shrugged his shoulders once more, while trying to give the human a meaningful look. In a way it was the truth. He had absolutely no reason being there with the soldiers, other then being shunned from the group because of faulty equipment. Dain merely hoped it would be enough to cause reasonable doubt. ICE COLD Kuueru, still disguised as Sascha, paced around small shack that served as the base of the radio tower. Her eyes marveled over the various equipment, wires, and microphones that were scattered across the room. It wasn't long before Almus had gotten a good look at her head out of the shack and her message was relayed successfully. So far, the disguise seemed to be holding up, that was about all the woman could ask for. "All clear huh? That's good, thank you," Sascha replied to her trusted guard. A sigh pressed from her lips at the thought of Almus walking into the building. She feared the worst. Perhaps he had already seen through her disguise. The lack of guards was bas enough, she wasn't ignorant. Alas, Almus came and entered the shanty with a nonchalant mannerism. Something peculiar for even the Commander was Almus's words. He quickly moved on to worry about her well-being. She nodded, her eyes looking towards Tarno as he entered the shack after getting past one of her guards. "I actually didn't get that much trouble. The spy caught a few of my guard, erm, well, 'off-guard'. That's how he took out my numbers. I was able to react and counter and take him out." Sascha spoke reluctantly. She hated that she lost me, but this was the nature of the business. "Right Tarno, welcome. . ." Sascha spoke sarcastically before sitting at the table which the map was splayed. "I'm more eager than ever to see this plan," She spoke greedily.

Damn it. Kaijin thought to himself as Tarno arrived at the little shack that served as the stage for the planning to end Abbayor. In response to Tarno's arrival and brief explanation as to why he was there, the disguised Kaijin grunted in acceptance of the explanation, before stepping aside and letting the Namekian enter. Now they were in a pickle. Dain Sincara reported trouble of some sort, but right now Kaijin didn't care much. No, he couldn't care much. He had, after all, instructed Dain Sincara to remain out of sight of any Black Star personnel for his own safety, and for his own mobility in the case of a situation such as this. Dain chose not to adhere by the Android's instructions. While Dain had supplied Kaijin with some forewarning of Tarno, the Saiyan Bounty Hunter had now bitten off more than he could chew, and had been struggling with keeping his identity more or less the entire time.
Would the situation get any better than this?
Well, the answer itself was clear. The more time passed, the more this little circus parade excuse of an infiltration mission fell apart. Perhaps it was time to set the wheels in motion, and take advantage of the best thing they had before that fell apart to. First, he decided to get into contact with Kuueru. She was the one in there. She just needed to hold up the charade for a little longer while he made his last minute preparations.
Kuueru. Kaijin said telepathically to the demoness posed as Sasha Qui. Keep up the charade for a little longer. Dain is caught up in whatever bullshit he's been riding on since this mission began, and I give ourselves another three minutes before something catastrophic happens and we all get exposed. I say we kill Almus and take down Tarno, killing the Namekian if need be.
Then he reached out to Doctor Grey..wherever the man's body happened to be. If they were truly to take Almus and Tarno down, they would need all available, non identity compromised hands on deck. And that meant waking up the non-combative doctor from his little nap.
Wake up! We need you. Come find us, but keep quiet. Kaijin snapped in Doctor Grey's mind, keeping his inner projection voice sharp and angry, in a way that would startle the good doctor awake, giving him the jolt needed to bypass the hypnosis spell Kaijin had placed on the man earlier.
His gaze shifting back to the wooden shack behind him, Kaijin sighed softly. Now....they had to wait.
Soon. Soon, Almus would be dead.

"Of course you can't give me all that you know right away correct, my brain wouldn't be able to handle all of that knowledge at once if that is the reason you haven't already given me everything you know." Dr. Grey said.
"You are definitely already quite an observant savant already I see, yes that is exactly part of the reason why. That and you seem to be learning a lot of stuff on your own that I could normally teach you myself if I were to, but yes even though your improved brain can process information quicker, store more knowledge, and more memory space than an average brain of your former species it would be unable to handle the vast amount of information I have learned in my millenia within this universe. So I must slowly feed you the information and give you lost knowledge and secrets that were lost to time like I am giving you now. It is the only way you can be able to learn from my knowledge without your mind being broken beyond repair. You are already as fragile as it is I can't afford you to be broken so soon." Nutropeks explained.
This being is most likely using him, and yet he is giving Grey what he has been seeking for. It's no different for a symbiotic relationship where one species helps another in order for both of them to benefit from it. Grey gets all of the knowledge and in return he helps the growth of the universe. Although Dr. Grey was going to do that anyway so it seems he might be getting more out of this deal. Then again, Nutropeks would most likely also gets his revenge against the Gods so he would also benefit as much since he has more against them.
It was then that they heard a telepathic message from Kaijin, as Kaijin tried to reach into his brain to wake him up he would end up seeing a flashing image of his mind of Nutropeks.
"It seems that you are need back in the waking world, well I'll visit you next time you slumber." Nutropeks said.
"Wait, I want to know one more thing. You said before that this form was a shell, I want you to show me what is beneath the shell. If that is isn't too much trouble to ask." Dr. Grey said.
Nutropeks was silent at first, and then suddenly Grey find himself in a strange space. The surrounding walls appeared to be made out of some kind of shell like structure. A skeletal structure like a turtle's spine aligns the walls but more mangled and resembling human blood vessels. The floor seemed to be made out of green flesh. He looks up to see a towering imposing figure that is definitely not what he imagined Nutropeks to look like underneath his shell. The towering monstrosity opens up two organic flaps in it's chest to reveal two blue eyes which also stare at Dr. Grey.
"AWAKEN!" Nutropeks shouted out.
All of the eyes begin glowing as Dr. Grey is enveloped by the light. He wakes up in a cold sweat and finds himself in what appears to be a primitive cell to contain him. It seems that he was brought here by some other guards while Kaijin and Grey were busy with Almus. He sees that they found his capsules and left them on a nearby table. Luckily they didn't get his wrist device which was hidden underneath his holographic disguise so he activates a D.A.R.C.E.D. which he then orders to blast the door to let Dr. Grey through.
With it's job complete he then puts the D.A.R.C.E.D. into it's capsule and puts it back in his pocket along with all of the other Capsules they took out of his pocket and left lying around. These guys probably didn't expect him to awake any time soon, or were just foolish and lazy. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth. He switches his Holo Belt to camoflague mode and with hands in pockets he saunters over to Kaijin and Kuu's location to scope out the situation and see why they are in need of his assistance to be forcing him to become awake. He hopes that Dain didn't mess up again, but considering how he has been on this mission till now he is willing to bet that is the case.Post Count: 12 | Tags: Legume , Queen Kuueru , Dain Sincara , Doctor Kaijin Vex
