As Dr. Grey's nanobots, assigned to scouting and hijacking the radio tower in the center of the camp, approached the structure, the Earthling doctor himself, still safely holed up in the spaceship, might notice something... strange happening in the nanobot's video feed and the HUD at the top of the screen. Once the nanobot started to fly closer to the radio tower, the structure becoming more defined from the point of view of the camera, the battery levels of the bot would suddenly start to rapidly decline, as if something was draining the life out of it. At a glance, however, the bot might have seemed fine - nothing had hit it or latched onto it, it appeared completely operational and continued flying towards the radio tower... it's just that every single computation and every single change in the battery causing significantly more losses in heat and friction than ever anticipated... until the battery finally gave up and the nanobot fell to the ground, appearing for the civilians below like a fly had suddenly died while flying across the sky, nothing to worry about. These four arrivals were quite odd, were they not? All of them clearly newcomers and not familiar with the ins and outs of the camp, and yet all clearly not lacking in direction, immediately gunning towards the market and starting to snoop around there, the woman asking simple questions such as who Almus is or how long they have been planning to strike south and take Abbayor. All while they continued muttering something under their breaths, to nobody in particular... It was enough for Ruz Cavadin, one of the self-dedicated volunteers who patrolled the streets in the case that something somewheer goes poorly, to rouse his suspicion. The Imperial Forces usually did not resort to espionage and infiltration operations, most of the time... and when they do, they're usually more professional at it than that. So it's definitely possible that Ruz was just seeing things. Several previous Imperial attacks, all of which led to many of his friends and comrades dying, do a lot to keep a man on edge all the time. And as Ruz made his way across the crowds of the market district, he saw that two of the three new arrivals made the mistake of standing right next to each other and having a brief chat, possibly to disguise their team chatter by making it seem like a casual conversation in the middle of a busy plaza. Ruz made the move on that exact moment, sneaking up from behind and pulling Dain and Kuueru in for a "hug", the Saiyan's shoulder held by one hand and the disguised demoness's with the other. ICE COLD Kuueru wasn't quite sure what made the Saiyan comrade waltz right up to her and begin to talk, alas he did anyway. She signed, her eyes on the containers of 'spice' that she wasn't completely sure of what to do with. Her hands dug into her hips, she ignored the mercenaries attempts to make her laugh. Perhaps his mocking of her face sat nastily upon her gut. "Things are great for a spice drop off yeah," Kuueru mumbled to Dain, her eyes rolling over the market casually. Still, what she wasn't expecting was to be grabbed from behind. She gasped, her hand reaching for her chest as she tried to still her beating heart. "M-My GODS!? WHO JUST DOES THAT?!" Kuueru belted at the newcomer who approached them with way too friendly of a demeanor. He called himself Ruz and offered a tour to the pair who lingered a little to close to one another in the middle of the streets. "Scared the hell outta me," Kuueru mumbled, breaking away from the odd embrace that brought her way too close to the azure skinned man, and Dain for that matter. "Ruz ya say? I'm Kela, this guy here is my bodyguard," She pointed a finger towards Dain with an irritated look. She then pointed at the barrels of spice behind her with a hefty sigh. "As much as it'd be cool to get a formal tour, I think I have my hands full babysitting this shipment until I get the means to trade it," Kuueru tried to deflect anymore questions, alas, she felt like this man was already too curious of their motive. Her sullen eyes crept back towards the crowd.

And the Saiyan suggests that one of them splits off from the group despite being adamant against the idea earlier. How hypocritical, but he wonders what is with the sudden change in heart. Although it is a good idea for one of them to go check it out. After all one of them wouldn't waste their energy in the fighting pit to prove themselves.
"Are you forgetting that the spice contains capsules that contain the reinforcements I built for this mission? No one should know what's inside, but you do need to bring them to wherever Almus is so I can then activate them to have my D.A.R.C.E.D's aide in his capture. Hopefully in a non populated area too." Dr. Grey explained.
And then the doctor noticed something strange about the hud for the status of his Nanobeetle. It didn't say anything about any damage or something latching onto it. He made it out of spare nanomachine parts, but they were in good condition including the micro battery. Did the Black Star have some kind of tech they don't know about that's affecting the nanobot, but then why isn't it affecting to radio tower? And then he is newest nanobot died as it succumbed to the force of gravity and fell to the ground and broke into tiny pieces upon impact. Dr. Grey didn't took it well as he loves all of his creations as if they were his children and this even causes him to cry over the loss of his little Nanobeetle. He then realized that his colleagues are in danger and need to know this before they ever try to set foot in the radio tower.
"Kuueru, Kaijin, Dain there is an anomaly surrounding the radio tower. My Nanobeetle attempted to fly to it only for it's battery to be drained. It can't be the result of an EMP field cause the electromagnetic waves would affect the radio tower as well. Since Kaijin is a cyborg it would be very dangerous for him to go over there, and Dain's disguise would be comprimised cause the anomaly would shut off his holo-disguise. Kuueru you are the only one who is organic and not using tech to make a disguise, use your demonic powers to find the anomaly and disable it. Find a place to hide and disguise yourself as Sasha if you have to!" Dr. Grey said.
"Oh jeez this is getting tense, I am going to make some popcorn." Morton said getting up from the couch to pop some popcorn.
Despite his assistant's not fully understanding the situation they are in and enjoying this as some sort of movie. A fat filled buttery salty snack could help ease Dr. Grey's nerves right now. And also help with the pain of losing such a precious tiny little cutie of a bug bot. It was then he was caught surprised by the sudden appearance of Ruz. Now he knows better not to judge a book by it's cover, but since this guy is a part of a terrorist organization he could be very bad news.Post Count: 5 Tags: Legume , Queen Kuueru , Doctor Kaijin Vex , Dain Sincara

How aggravating.
This was a pressing issue, to be completely frank. While the plan to sabotage the radio tower had been a hastily developed plan created by the minds of Dain and Dr. Grey, Kaijin had half hoped such a strategy would succeed, as long as it was done right. But, as fate had it, it seemed that as the nanobot approached the radio tower, it reached complications in the form of an "anomaly" as Dr. Grey described.
What Kaijin heard next caused the Android to almost start cursing aloud. Thankfully, he restrained himself. Electromagnetic fields were bad...quite bad, in fact. Why? For all of Kaijin's power, he was still a mechanical being. Completely synthetic in fact. His body was completely susceptible to invasive electrical discharges. While it was possible that he could....
Wait, that could work...
Kaijin was by far a good choice for infiltration. His lack of a power level, due to his artificial energy, made him undetectable by any normal means of Ki detection, either by scouter or other spiritual means. This meant that in order to locate Kaijin, one had to rely on their sight, and consistently keep an eye on him, whereas each of the others good still be sensed, given they were organics, each with their own respective. Ki Signatures. As for the troublesame electromagnetic field, it was possible that if the scientist blanketed himself in a layer of artificial energy, it would protect himself from such troublesome pulses, and thus keep himself from having his internal systems fried outright. Was it guaranteed to work? Not really. In fact, Kaijin had to layer himself in just enough artificial energy in order to buffer the impact blast. If he did anything less, the electromagnetic pulses would scramble his systems, and that would take him out of the operation until god knows when.
"M-My GODS!? WHO JUST DOES THAT?!"
Oh god, what was was it now?
He kept weaving through the crowds as his eyes searched through the crowds for the source of the sudden outburst. He already recognized the voice to be Kuueru's, altered through use of his disguise magic. His quick glance seemed to alert him to her position. Her and the figure she recognized as the Saiyan bounty hunter, Dain, seemed to be talking to some strange, shifty looking Xeno. Blame the scientists' paranoia that only came from infiltrating extremely sensitive enemy territory, but he couldn't help but feel a spike of panic well up inside of him. What if he worked for the Black Star officials? From Kuueru's exclamation, it wasn't hard to tell that Kuueru did not invite the Xeno over for a friendly chat, and his general appearance did not warrant Kaijin much cause to trust him. However...what was he to do? If he was truly fishing to discover their true identities, him automatically rushing over there to assist would only draw more attention. And even then, if he were to go over there, what would he do? He could most likely clamp his hand over the man's throat with little issue, and then drain the man of his Ki until he passed out. But that would draw a lot of attention, and would leave them with an unconscious body as a burden on the mission. Besides, who was to say he was the only one? If he was an undercover Black Star agent, it was surely possible there were more hidden amongst the stands.
Or perhaps he was being paranoid.
Nonetheless, he had to stick to the mission. It wasn't until after he exited the marketplace, the Android heading into a rather secluded area that Kaijin spoke once more into the open channel, for once grateful for the location of the nanotech. The audio for the nanotech was within the ear, so one could clearly hear what was being said to them over the channel. However, the nanobot wasn't big enough for others to hear it. Hell, they could barely hear it, and it was meant for communication.
"I will attempt to make my way over to communications. I should, hopefully, be fine..."" Kaijin said as he slowly began to trot down the path to the radio station. When he spoke, his guilty tone of voice was plastered all over his face. Under regular circumstances, Kaijin wouldn't have hesitated when it came to helping Dain and Kuueru. However, this was a sensitive mission in which brash actions such as killing the Xeno could have jeopardized not only his own life, and the life of his team, but the Empire's future. And that was more than he was willing to sacrifice.
Kuueru and Dain were powerful and resourceful beings. Whatever it was, they could find their way out, and rendez-vous with him before he unceremoniously fried himself once passing the would be electromagnetic gate.

The man startled him. It was as simple as that and it took every bit of restraint not to take the man down. Not because of intent, but simple muscle memory. Plus he really did not like to be hugged by man. Sly being the only exception, but he was a furry raccoon and Dain enjoyed the tickling. Still he managed to hold still as the man embraced them. It was odd though. This might have been some kind of normal greeting here, but he had seen nothing so far. His Saiya-Jin spidey sense going mental. “Oh yes and as always it is a pleasure guarding you, milady.” Dain threw a quick irritated look back at Kuueru, before smiling his friendliest smile and returning the embrace. Resting his hand upon Ryu´s shoulder, yet twisted slightly, so he could grab and break the mans neck at the first sign of trouble. Still Kuueru was not exactly helping and Dain did not know exactly what to do. It was not as if their answers were really inconspicuous and if the man had been suspicious before, they would not be helping. As he was contemplating what to do, he decided to distract the man a bit with idle talk. “To be honest, I am not sure we are comrades yet. We heard about the resistance and decided to see it for ourselves. We are not sure whether we actually want to join, the rumors have been so incredible it is hard to believe them, but at the very least we wanted to help. Traders we are, but we plan to donate half the spices to those in need.” He began talking friendly, hoping the good doctor was listening and deactivating the robots in case the offer was accepted. “Actually my name is Dain, captain of this flying rust bucket. She might be old, but she is worthy and this friendly little thing is my trusted assistant.” He said as he grinned, friendly slapping the man on the shoulder as he quickly looked at him and gave him a sly look and nudge, as he made fun of Kuueru. “In any case I´d be delighted to have a tour. Perhaps you could show me around, so I could determine where to best distribute the spices we bring.” He said as he gently tucked the man´s shoulder, beginning to lead him away from Kuueru. As he talked, Dain had considered many options. From killing him to torturing him for information. Well okay basically those two, but in quite a few different variations on the themes. None of them worked out though. For all they knew the man was an appointed spotter and an alarm would be triggered if he suddenly died. “What can you tell me about this place? I have heard the rumors and quite frankly… the place does not live up to it. It feels a bit messy and yet all these people are here together, helping each other. What is binding them? I just witness some kind of speech and it did not seem to resonate all too well.” He continued as he led the man further away, just blabbing like an overstimulated merchant, barely giving the man the time to think, as they made their way to the fighting grounds. The two newcomers took the sudden hug about as well as Ruz expected - instantly going on edge, the woman letting out a scream and the man tensing up. That's good. That means that they weren't prepared with camaraderie and weren't well acquainted with the modus operandi of this organization. Not something to grow suspicious over all by itself, but with all the clues building up that these people are up to no good, this was something to mark down as well... The woman, introducing herself as Kela, tried to get out of the situation by stating that she was trying to find a way to distribute the spice she had at her hands before embarking on a tour of the camp. Ah, well, at least Ruz can offer some help there, even if his suspicions weren't any weaker. " Ah, well, if you want to distribute that spice of yours, you just gotta assume one of those empty vendors outta there. I think there's a few on the other side of the market, you gotta go check. Though I don't think people are really interested in spice he-" Suddenly, Ruz got tucked away from the woman by her so-described bodyguard, whose name, according to him, was Dain. Ruz's arm slightly flailed around and he released a few "hey, hey, hey!"s, but as soon as he heard that, he raised his eyebrow and continued: " Wait, Dain? Didn't I hear that name somewhere before?" He couldn't put his finger on it, however. Eh, maybe he's mistaking the captain for someone else. Speaking of the captain, what he was saying caught Ruz by surprise. He seemingly had no understanding of why these people are gathering here, the speeches aren't resonating with him and this whole camp appeared messy and poor to him. " Wait, really? You made your way here, probably dodging the Imperial bastards on the way, and that's how you speak when you land? This is where liberty begins and all the tyrannies across the Galaxy will end, comrade! Sure, it's not much... but a humble abode is just what we need. Luxury corrupts people.
Or do you want to say that you're here for a different reason than to join the fight?" As Kaijin approached the radio tower, it would perhaps come as a welcome surprise that his android body did not shut down or fry itself by getting too close. A greater energy source than that of a nanobot was not going to exhaust itself as quickly. However, the android might have been able to notice that something fishy was definitely taking place. Energy, whether natural and harnessed from ki, or artificial and harnessed from other sources, was being dampened and suppressed, and for someone, be it man or machine, to bring it forward would lead to a significant aftershock, as if their body or chassis respectively was trying to resist it. The radio tower was inching in closer, the area around it seeming surprisingly less active than the rest of the camp, with only the occasional teenager or ragged rebel passing through the "street". Already, one could notice a small congregation of people gathered at the shack underneath the structure. Suddenly, however, four blaster shots rang out from the gap between two hastily constructed wooden shacks, all aiming directly towards Kaijin. It was Sasha, with a Galactic Patrol standard issue blaster in her hand. Her left hand was pressed on her ear. " End of the line. Almus, I think I've found a spy." "Dr. Kaijin Vex I strongly advise not doing that and let Kuueru, and he's already left." Dr. Grey said.
That doctor better know what he is doing cause if not he could end up being captured and dismantled, and he doesn't want such a great mind be lost forever. Maybe since he's a scientist he has back up data on his memory on a cloud save that would be used to put him inside a new body. That's definitely a major benefit for being a completely artificial android. Digital data is hard to get rid of and the same can be said for digital AI. It would definitely have it's perks.
"Alright just trade your spice but only certain containers. The ones I marked with a blue stripe are the ones with the Dynocaps hidden inside, and the ones that aren't have a red stripe. Remember, better red then dead. I made that on the spot right now." Dr. Grey advised.
Actually he didn't, he just stole that from when he was working for the Neo Red Ribbon Army. He just needed to think of a catchy phrase to help her remember. Hopefully she does anyway, but if she can get this guy off their backs then she can go incognito to aide Kaijin. Speaking of which he needs to check up on him. He looks to the screen showing the perspective of the nanomites on Kaijin when he notices their batteries quickly draining as well and then seeing a glimpse of Sasha Qui firing at him
They were definitely ill prepared for this. Although maybe if Kaijin hadn't rushed in and Kuu went in with her disguise powers she could've gotten through. Hell, maybe they could win their favor through the battle arena and gotten a safe passage through this strange energy distorting anomaly like Dain suggested. But no the Chief Scientist of the First Galactic Empire had to rush in thinking he could go through an energy sucking field despite being filled with electrical parts. He's really starting to lose his patience with this group.
"Well Kaijin has been discovered by the enemy. They got some kind of device somewhere that's doing something to energy around the radio tower. I need someone to find the device, and stop it. And hopefully bring me the parts if you can so that I may reverse engineer it for the empire to use." Dr. Grey ordered to Kuueru and Dain.

The time had long passed where Kaijin felt comfortable speaking to nanites in his ear. Consistently whispering to himself in the marketplace had gotten him quite the number of stares from ongoing passerby, and frankly Kaijin was trying to remain the least suspicious. Thus, he decided to connect directly to the nanites through a wireless link, which would allow his own thoughts (although filtered to avoid overloading the machine), to be processed directly to Dr. Grey and the remainder of the team, without the man having to speak himself. In a way, the spontaneous link was Kaijin's imitation of psychic telepathy, without the psychic part, of course.
"Doctor Grey, Kuueru and Dain Sincara are preoccupied in case you haven't noticed, and every moment we remain out here, the more time we waste, and the more Almus will move. If I am to assist Kuueru and Dain out of this situation, then it may prove even more detrimental than not. We do not know who the individual is who approached them, and if he is a scout for Black Star. If so, then he might not be alone, and there may be others monitoring the area, for anyone who may interfere. Trust me, it is not my intent to infiltrate the radio station on my own...however, if I can simply take a moment to observe the guard rotations and exter-" Kaijin cut himself off, suddenly aware of the situation he had gotten himself in. Before he knew it, Sasha Qui had revealed herself before him, firing off several rounds in his direction.
How troublesome this has become...
How? How could he could have been discovered? Suspicious as the entire team may have looked, there was nothing he could think of in which that could label him as a concrete spy. Sasha Qui wasn't even in the marketplace for long! Yet she went through all this way to hunt a man who had only caught the last vestiges of her speech? For what? All these thoughts raced through his mind.
He didn't do anything.
It took all of Kaijin's self restraint to keep him from leaping into the heat of battle, engaging Sasha Qui in some convoluted battle to the death. While it could prove useful for a distraction, opening up several opportunities for the rest of his team, while he was stuck fighting a plethora of foes. However, such a situation, especially with such...a weird electromagnetic field pushing down on him, Kaijin didn't have much of a chance of getting out of the situation alive in the long run.
Something else was at play here...perhaps, he could weasel his way out.
Rearing back, Kaijin felt the blasterfire sear into his skin, the dampening field on his body suppressing his energy to a point where it was hard to even circulate his artificial energy to defend himself properly, while keeping his body from being shorted out by electromagnetic energy. Luckily, while Kai could not feel pain, he had observed enough organics to mimic it...to varying degrees of success.
Luckily, today was such a day in which his acting was believable.
His body shooting back from impact, Kaijin fell on his butt, grimacing in pain. Looking up at Sasha, his eyes widened in surprise, with a mix of outrage.
"What the hell?! Gah..." Kaijin said as his arm immediately went to his arm, where one of the blasts struck him.
"The fuck did I do to you...?!" Kaijin grunted out as he moved into a sitting position before Sasha Qui.
"Spy?! I just arrived here to...agh...escape the Kabochan Confederacy. How the hell does that make me a spy? I didn't even do anything!" Kaijin grunted while slowly moving to stand. His act was rather convincing. A rather weak civilian who had just been shot four times? Well, obviously they would be rather injured by such a fact. Or perhaps dying. Kaijin wasn't exactly sure where that line was, he had never been a human....nor had he ever been as weak as a civilian who didn't actively practice Ki. Nonetheless, he saw Sasha Qui's presence as an opportunity. But only if he could pull this off. If he couldn't....well, then there was a slight problem.
Sasha Qui was a high ranking government official in Black Star. While there was little chance that the ragtag group of dropout spies could infiltrate Almus's inner circle without months and months of preparation in deep cover...perhaps they could use someone else's power and influence...it was a budding plan, but hell...did anyone have any better? The best plan at the moment was infiltrating the training camp, and somehow going from new blood to Almus's personal guard within a day. Hmph. It was worth the attempt.
His eyes lighting up with with golden light as the Android channeled psychic energy, Kaijin thrust his hands outward, and began to shift them ever so slightly, as if controlling the ebbs and flow of the mental energy that shifted about inside of him, and exerted them outwards. It was a form of Hypnosis, a powerful psychic spell that would enthrall his foe, place him under his control. In this case, he was performing the "Sleepy Boy Technique" a form of hypnosis which, if successful, would place his opponent in a rather deep sleep, brought about by psychic energy permeating the body, bringing about this effect.
"Sleep....." Kaijin whispered. ICE COLD At this point, Kuueru's mind was on fire. She would have to check and ensure black smoke wasn't pillowing from her ears. Alas, Dain was eager to connect with this odd Ruz fellow. Kuueru simply watched as they waltzed away, arm in arm like a young teenaged couple. Of course, that was after the blue-skinned man offered Kuueru advice on how to distribute the spice, and the possibility that many people wouldn't be interested in it. Frankly, Kuueru didn't even know what spice was, or what it was used for. Kuueru hoisted the ref labeled containers over her shoulders and wanted off back into the market. She found an empty stand and set up herself the jankiest yard sale one could imagine. With a bemused gaze she cleared her throat and looked towards the people with a grin. "LOOKING TO SPICE UP YOUR DAY?" She paused, a few odd glances from around the area focusing on the black-haired woman. She waved her hands and pried open one of the lids of the spice before taking out a handful and pushing it into her face. "I BRINGETH YOU, SPICE! Ease your worries, forget the bad days. H-Have fun!~" Kuueru shot a cute smile towards the patrons before walking away from the stand to leave the crowd to take what they wanted. Meanwhile she returned to the blue marked containers to hear Grey mention that Kaijin was under attack. She sighed, her eyes looking towards the radio tower. She was off, casually making her way towards the scene only to find Kaijin, and the woman from earlier, Sascha in some sort of trance. "What even is happening?" Kuueru spoke to the android while looking to the tower. "Popcorn pal back on the ship wanted me to disable some thing here. I threw some spice out, Dain is trying to join the Black Star. How's life?"

Dain shrug his shoulders as the man wondered about his name. It was true that using his own name was risky, but no more then any other. He had used many during his adventures, plus without a last name it was more or less a common name. “Oh maybe you have heard. I honestly can´t tell. I´ve been flying that rust bucket for a couple of decades now and broken through a blockade or two...” He said, letting his voice tail of and leaving the man to fill in the gaps himself, weaving truth and lie, as if it came naturally to him. The fact that he used his own name was no problem. Better then running into someone he knew, calling him differently and it all falling apart. Lying about the ship though was a calculated risk, knowing Peet could back him up. While in disguise, he still had his armor equipped and the AI could feed him all the needed data if the man wanted to test him. Probably even to the serial number. The next part would be crucial though. “Can you blame me? I am not particularly fond of the empire, yet until now I only heard the rumors about this place. So yeah I came to check it with my own eyes, while helping as a mark of good faith.” Dain said seriously as he looked straight at Ryu, this time no lies were within his words. Albeit he might have bent the truth a little bit. It was true that until today he only heard the rumors and he did intend to spread some spice as a mark of good faith. Not the entire truth, but good enough. He hoped. The other part was more difficult to dodge though, so he decided not to answer it directly. As a `trader´ it would simply be too much to suddenly agree that luxury corrupts people. “May I be honest with you Ryu? I have not decided whether to help directly, I want to learn a bit more about this Almus and his true goals. I prefer working in the background, doing supply runs, gathering intel and such. Though if need be, me and my ship can and will join the fight. However…” He said as a frown appeared on Dain´s face and he let go of the man´s shoulder so he could turn around and look directly upon him. “…I just heard a speech about directly taking on the empire, how serious is that? I have seen the imperial fleet, I have seen it´s army and to be perfectly blunt, you can´t hope to match them in numbers, material or training. I had hoped that an organization such as this would work a bit more… covert? Seems to be more my style anyway. I would love to break a blockade or two for you, run a few supplies, smuggle some troops in, but taking on the fleet directly? I am nor sure me and my rust bucket have the nerves for that anymore.” He continued his talking, as a grin appeared on his face and the end and he let out a small chuckle. Only to be interrupted by the voice of the good doctor in his ear, saying Kaijin had been discovered. Wonderful timing. “Excuse me Ryue.” He said as he took a step back from the man, yet did not turn around as he pressed his ear. He hoped that even here it would not be that uncommon to talk to someone wireless. In any case, he hoped that by not turning around, Ryu would not consider it suspicious. “I read you. Do you really need my help with that? Please tell me you lot or not as incompetent as you look! … … … Good. Please keep me informed on the progress and let me know if you do need my help. I swear to god if you idiots break any of the cargo, I am docking your pay.” He said seriously, trying to sound angry and annoyed, before turning back to Ryu and grinning sheepishly. “Sorry about that…” He said, once again letting his voice trail off, to let the man fill in the gaps himself. Trying to explain it meant nothing was often far more dangerous then letting people come to their own conclusion. “By the way, I keep hearing the sounds of weapons nearby? Is something going on?”Post Count: 6 LegumedoctorgreyQueen KuueruDoctor Kaijin Vex

Dain was quick to explain the thing about him - he might have been no fan of the Galactic Empire, but he stated to be hesitant to join the Black Star directly, instead offering to help the organization from the shadows, through clandestine means such as supply runs and intelligence gathering - something which got Ruz to raise an eyebrow. " But that's what we have been doing for years before settling down here. Our comrades, hidden among the average citizen, had been trying to topple the unjust society out there for all that time, and it just didn't work. Almus's vision is different and definitely better, do you really want to go back to the failures of old?" As soon as Dain mentioned that a direct attack against the Imperial Fleet would be a terrible idea, perhaps suicidal even, Ruz immediately went for a rebuttal: " Ah, but you're making the mistake of assuming that the morale of the Imperials is top notch! Few people out there want war, suffering and destruction to continue, they want peace and freedom, and once they see that the people they are fighting bring exactly what they seek, they're going to stand down and join our ranks by the thousands, and-" Dain, however, suddenly stepped down from the surprised Ruz, speaking into what seemed like a hidden communicator. Clearly, he was connected in comms with someone else. The Saiyan immediately turned back around and tried to cover it up by shifting the conversation to a different direction, but the revolutionary was having none of it. " Who were you speaking to?" " Don't take me for an idiot. A group of individuals, completely untouched by the Imperial blockade, slips in and the people inside immediately start snooping around in places they should not belong." Sasha spoke, reloading her blaster, her eyes staring into Kaijin after his pleads and shouting. " I've seen very well how Imperial spies operate, and you're not going to trick me otherwise with a sob sto-" Suddenly, however, the man stretched out his arms forward and his eyes began to glow with a golden light, clearly trying to pull off a some sort of technique on her. It might have been perfect for her, further proof that she did not execute a random civilian again and actually caught a potential threat this time, had her eyes not been locked into Kaijin's gaze and following the slow, dreamy movements of his hands. Sleep...Sleep... Sleep... Sleep... You know... she just went through a fairly exhausting speech and now overexerted herself while trying to catch up to this mysterious person. A nap seems like a perfect decision to make. And as such, Sasha's unconscious body collapsed to the ground below. Suddenly Dr. Grey then noticed that the Nanomites were being linked to something with Dr. Grey taking control of the nanomites communication array. So he managed to connect himself to the Nanomites very impressive. Doing so also seemed to allow the Nanomites to be able to wirelessly recharge using the link with Kaijin to get just a tiny amount of energy to keep them going. It seems they are more adaptive then he had anticipated. On the bright side it seems that they can still be able to work for Kaijin in this danger zone.
He then watched as Kaijin somehow managed to put Sasha to sleep with a type of hypnosis it seemed like. It is thought that one must have powerful mental abilities to be able to achieve and control psychic powers, and what could be more intelligent then a learning and adapting AI such as the one Kaijin has. Dr. Grey was worried for a bit and took Kaijin for a fool. However, the doctor managed to get himself easily out of such a tense situation without even having to resort to combat. He couldn't help but clap for the doctor after successfully doing so.
"An prodigious display of wit, I am sorry for having any doubts in you Kaijin. You certainly proven yourself to be quite an intellectual with how you managed to find a way out of such a situation without having to resort to violence." Dr. Grey stated.
He then notices Kuu meeting up with Kaijin, which gives him an idea they can do with her abilities and Sasha unconscious. Although Ruz seems to be having trouble. The Nanomite splits into two identical ones and the other crawls out of the ear and hides in between the earlobe and head and points it's speaker at Ruz's direction to make it seem like he is hearing the person from the communicator like how one throws one's own voice to make it look like it's coming from somewhere else. Dr. Grey adjusts the wrist communicator disguise his voice and mutes the other channels so that only Dain would hear this and clears his voice.
"Hoy, Dain dere you be tis the captain. Those bloody bastards accidentally dropped some dynocaps into the spice canisters they did. I need you to grab them out and bring them over ere. Go on then get your arse off and bring them Dynocaps." the voice coming from the "communicator" said.
The nanomite then reunited with the buddy in his ear while Dr. Grey adjusts the wrist communicator to get his voice to normal and unmutes the other channels.
"Dain, I need you to try to get Ruz, and anyone else who could be following us and thinks we are suspicious, off of your back and find a quiet place to hide for a bit after you got those capsules. Kaijin has successfully made Sasha unconscious and I have a plan and for it to work you'll need to switch disguises. Kuueru I need you to shift your appearance into Sasha, Kaijin you should be able to disguise yourself as one her private guards, and Dain should also disguise themselves as one of her private guards once he gets Ruz off of his back. Then we can be able to find Almus much easier especially with the real one unconscious, but first we need to find a good place to hide her body. Perhaps even we can get Sasha's body and capture her as well so that we could take two high ranking members of Black Star alongside Almus." Dr. Grey said.Post Count: 7 Tags: Legume , Doctor Kaijin Vex , Queen Kuueru , Dain Sincara

ICE COLD Kuueru looked around the area cautiously before rushing over towards Kaijin. The demoness met his gaze, her eyes then rolling over to the sleepy Sascha. She was out cold, and it seemed now that she lies prone against the ground. Kuueru paused. As she thought about the situation and what would happen when and if that woman awoke, the more she wanted to teleport off the planet and blow it up from afar. Alas, she was on a mission now, and the Dr by the moniker Grey was belting more commands into her ear. She huffed, her tired gaze looking at the woman's face, clothing, and hair. It would be easy to duplicate, but what about when you get asked questions? How is she supposed to know how this woman acts to and in front of her allies? Perhaps the answer lie inside the woman's mind. Kuueru fell into a trance, her eyes wandering along the mind of the unconscious woman. She felt her emotions, she dealt with her pain. The briefest of imagines playing through Kuueru's head made up a highlights reel for all the best times in her life. Kuueru's eyes slammed shut, and then suddenly her body shifted to match more of the other woman's. "Hm, I see a bit, I think I can pull this off," Kuueru spoke from behind another disguise. Alas, now was the time to hog tie this lady and throw her in the sexual assault trunk. Kuueru quickly pulled out a pair of unmarked energy powered handcuffs. She slapped them on both the wrists and ankles of Sascha before turning to Kaijin. 'Empire, fuck yeah.' She said telepathically to the android before her face slumped into something more annoyed. Something more, Sascha. Lastly, she plucked the communicator out of Sascha's ear before placing it in her own.

It was a good thing Sasha had succumbed to his hypnosis. If not, he'd be forced to resort to more...fatal means. And frankly, he had little desire to resort to such desperate tactics so early in the game. However, her discovery did complicate things. Before she succumbed, she did reveal that she had discovered a spy amongst the ranks of Black Star. And granted that Sasha was one of Almus's trusted few, he probably held faith in her efficiency and effectiveness, and held her judgement in high regard. High enough regard for it to be out of place for her to rescind such a radical declaration such as treason within the ranks. If this plan was going to work, they would need the act to be convincing, to be complete, and to hold as few holes as humanly possible.
Although, perhaps it was Kaijin's tendency to be lost in his own thoughts, or perhaps it was the dampening field that blanketed the radio station territory that was messing with his sensors, but regardless of reason, the Android visibly jumped when he heard Kuueru's voice. Within moments, the disguised demoness regaled him with her trademark wit and sarcasm, alluding to the whereabouts of the remainder of the team, with Dain tied up with that same individual from before, and Grey....eating popcorn on the ship...
"So that's what the crunching sound in my ear was..." Kaijin muttered. As if on queue, the scientist himself chimed back into the nanite speaker in his ear. Due to his own synchronization with the nanite that Kaijin practically forced on it, the message was transmitted and decoded immediately by his own processors. Within moments, the Android had prepared his own message to send back to Dain, without even opening his mouth to speak.
Your doubt in me was ill-placed. Rest assured that I do not act recklessly, and throw caution to the wind at my whimsy, especially when the stakes are so high. Now, your plan is as I intended from the moment I was caught unexpectedly. It is the only course of action which has been uttered thus far to have even the slightest semblance of succeeding...if pulled off correctly. We will begin preparations. Dain Sincara, I pray you can join us soon...without company. We have little time to waste. We are expected."
Turning to Kuueru, the disguised Android allowed himself the faintest of smiles as she entertained him with her witty remarks, her own flash of a smile rather uncharacteristic behind the guise of the usually stoic Sasha. Revealing a dynocapsule from his pocket, he threw the device downwards, the Capsule Corp brand storage device releasing a thick gas as it stored Sasha's unconscious body within its' confines. There was no time to return to the ship...nor did he trust Dr. Grey's ability to fight her off (without automaton help) if she happened to awake and surprise the doctor and his little minion friend.
Kuueru, remind me to scold High Command's screening for these missions. I believe it's become a bit problematic since Polaris's demise. Kaijin remarked, laying down his own little bit of super duper desert dry humor.
He was never one for jokes. Androids, apparently, cannot do it all. Nonetheless, there was two final pieces to the puzzle. Tinkering with his holoprojector, he adopted yet another disguise. This time, a lot more...dark.
He had observed the guise of Sasha's private guard. Dark, tattered hooded figures, all wearing a vast array of different clothing, but with the same hooded, helmeted theme. And they all carried various weapons of varying quality. Kaijin now took the appearance of a slim, pale male covered mostly by tattered dark clothing and shrouded by a dark cloak of equal poor quality. A visor covered the lower half of his face, while an old, beaten sniper rifle was slung over his shoulder. His red eyes, albeit not intense as the original, focused on Kuueru for a moment, as if asking for input before he transmitted another message to Grey over nanite.
I require something of you, and I need it quickly. Sasha Qui alerted Almus of her discovery of a spy. While I dispatched her before she could reveal more, Almus and his men are already preparing for her to return with a trophy. I need a trophy. Use a droid and a holoprojector, or anything you deem fit. I need a holographic projection that looks like my previous disguise, that can mimic life signs to a basic degree, able to at least pass a momentary pulse check, while also unconscious. The body will not have much role besides gaining us entry and appeasing Almus. If you do not have something at hand to serve such as a body, if you are to look in my little corner of the ship, and withdraw red marked dynocapsules. Withdraw one and bring out a Riot Soldier. Have it activate a holoprojected disguise, and transport him to our location. However, I would rather not waste my children...so do what you can. I am relying on you.
Turning back to Kuu, Kaijin sighed lightly before speaking to her once more telepathically.
I pray he can do this much.

“Actually you might want to hold of on that…” Dain said with a grin as he appeared behind the group. Just at that moment his look seemed to tremble a few times, the holographic display switching over to emergency power. “My suit is almost out of power… so why not turn me in? As a bounty hunter of a bit of a name, I would be credible as a spy.” He said with a weary smile as he held up his hands, offering for the group to bind them. “Oh and Kuueru… if you ever wanted to vent a bit, might I recommend you shoot me a few times, so it looks realistic?” He added with a grin, although clinching on the inside. Even if his armor protected him a bit, he still hated getting shot! It was a serious flaw in the design of the armor it seemed. He had hoped that it could maintain the hard light projection for a few hours. With everything that had gone on though it seemed to have run out prematurely. Or perhaps it was the nanites within the projection that caused the disturbance? Dain honestly did not know, he just knew it was a flaw he would have Peet investigate next turn. It had happened just as he was explaining himself to Ruz… “Seriously? I am a spice trader, of course I am talking with my crew. Do you really think I would have done something so brazen if I was a spy?” He countered rather annoyed, taking a step closer to Ruz, so their heads were almost pressed together. Figuring the best defense was a strong offense and there was some truth to it after all. “Seriously, what is your problem. I offer to help and all you do is object. At least I have a ship, a crew and combat experience. What can half the people here offer you? Tell you what, if you want us, we can leave and never come back! I did not come here to get treated the same way as I did in the empire!” He said angrily, pressing his finger against the man´s chest. Unfortunately just at that time his disguise had flickered, revealing for a split second his black armor to Ruz. Or perhaps it was fortunate that it had happened just then. As Ruz eyes grew wide instantly, before breaking. All Dain did was simply push his finger through. Mortal flesh was weak and before the man could make a sound, his finger was lodged solidly in the man´s heart. The next part was a bit more tricky though. He had wrapped his arm around the man´s shoulder and used his telekinesis to keep the man upright and seemingly walk with him back to the ship. It was annoying, clumsy and Dain hated the fact that he never practiced as much as he should have. Somehow they managed to make it inside the ship, where he dumped the body at the good doctors feet, before making his way to the group. The hard light projection was growing more unstable with the minute though, so as much as he wanted, he could not comply with the suggestion. He would have much rather be a bodyguard then be shot and taken in as a prisoner. “Comon, make it quick!” He said tensely, gritting his teeth and tensing his muscles, in awaiting the coming of pain. " What?! Why the hell do you think I am immediately accusing you of being a spy?! I was just asking who you were speaking to and you immediately jumped on me like I'm about to execute you or something! Or, what, if you have gotten so defensive all of sudden, do you want to tell me that-" Ruz, however, never got to finish his sentence and get to the point that he had been suspicious in Dain's intentions all this time, as a finger suddenly punched through his chest. Releasing a shrieking eep at the shooting of pain through his body, the alien quickly succumbed into Dain's grip. Though he was quickly lifted back up by the Saiyan's psychic powers and walked away alongside him as if nothing happened, Ruz stopping to speak in the middle of his sentence and the shriek which followed immediately, as well as Dain's body flickering for a second, caught the attention of more than a few people in the overcrowded market surrounding them. " Ruz? Ruz, are you okay?" one of the Black Star members nearby muttered immediately after hearing the sound. Ruz, much to his surprise, did not answer with anything, instead continuing to walk alongside this mysterious, somewhat suspicious man - even though he was generally a talkative guy who would respond to people addressing him immediately. All by itself, that was enough to rouse suspicion, but combine it with the fact that Dain's appearance flickered for a second and he had apparently grown heated in their conversation despite them only knowing each other for a few minutes... that was enough to rouse suspicion. An another Black Star member nearby pulled up his radio communicator and, following the departing Dain and Ruz with his eyes, spoke: " Almus, Sasha, we've got a problem over here in the market district. There's some suspicious individuals snooping around, I think, and they might have done something to Ruz. We request reinforcement, and quick." As Kuueru and Kaijin dealt with the sleeping Sasha, placing energy powered handcuffs on her, the demoness switching her disguise to the woman's and Kaijin adopting that of one of her bodyguards, a beeping sound suddenly reached all of their ears. It was a radio communicator, attached to the unconscious woman's belt, and after a few seconds of static and beeps, it spoke with a man's voice: " Almus, Sasha, we've got a problem over here in the market district. There's some suspicious individuals snooping around, I think, and they might have done something to Ruz. We request reinforcement, and quick." Immediately after, however, a different, smooth voice, slightly feminine, but clearly that of a man regardless, added: " Sasha, can you hear me? What's happening out there? You said something about a spy and then immediately stopped responding. Rendezvous with me in the market in a few minutes, there's something suspicious happening out there." Grey could tell from their snide remarks they think less of him. Is it because they are out there in the field risking his life while he is in here doing ground control? He can understand why they think that, but he is the one who made the plan. Then he'll create his own disguise and help out in the field. He could even play the part as the spy Sasha told Almus about before she was knocked out. He shall show how loyalty it is in the empire.
And then he noticed Dain killing Ruz and taking him somewhere. What the hell is that idiot doing?! He killed him in a public area. Well at least he is finding a secluded place to dispose of the body. Does he not realize that even killing a single member of the Black Star, even a minor one like Ruz, would make the Galactic Empire look bad if they are discovered to work for them. And then he watches as Dain, with his flickering holo-disguise, dumps the body of Ruz into their ship.
Before Grey could tell Dain why he made a monumental mistake the Saiyan left before the doctor could say a word. That idiot probably led some Black Star scouts who noticed him come here and are probably going to investigate. He checked the body hoping it was still somewhat alive so he could heal him and dump the body near a dumpster while he's unconscious so the empire wouldn't look like killers. With his medical expertise he can tell that he is definitely dead. He's going to leave a bad review on Dain Sincara's merc work online after this. Come to think of it Dain is a mercenary and not affiliated with the Galactic Empire directly so we can make him the fallboy and say that he went maverick.
Then Doctor Grey got a call from Kaijin saying to make someone to be the spy, like what Dr. Grey himself was going to do, although it seems that said spy role seems to be going to be filled by Dain. He can't trust that idiot to get this job done right, plus he has been discovered so they would be looking for two people. The one Sasha said she found and the one in the marketplace. It would be suspicious if they found just one and odd if the suspicious individual they found in the marketplace turned out to be the so called spy while Sasha reported from near the radio tower.
He put Ruz's corpse into a capsule, and went to get one of Kaijin's Riot Soldiers out of said capsule. It seems great minds think alike when it comes to stealth androids. Although it seems to lack a cloaking device and focuses on disguises unlike his Cloak Commando. They even made both of their robots cyclops amusingly enough. Although this Riot Soldier seems to be much more sturdier and built for combat compared to his prototype Cloak Commando, makes him reluctant to use such a beautiful piece of tech and he understands how Kaijin must feels towards it. Wait this gives him an idea.
After studying the holo-projector technology of the Riot Soldier he puts it back into it's Dynocap and gets some spare parts out from a Dynocap of his own to started to tinker. He built a holo-projector that is worn like a belt around his person. He then spoke with Kaijin through the Nano-mite that he made a link through to his artificial mind.
"I have built a holo-belt after studying the technology of your Riot Soldier after carefully studying it. I will be the one to act as a spy and disguise myself as your previous disguise to act as the spy. I will use it to camouflage myself to stealthily make my way to you guys and act as the spy. Since they got Dain Black Star would be looking for two people. And this is the best opportunity we have to get alone with Almus to capture him." Dr. Grey said.
He is going to prove to them that he it was the right call to have him come to this mission.
"Morton I am going to be leaving, don't let anyone in except us." Dr. Grey said.
He then pressed some buttons on his holo-belt and suddenly it was if he was invisible. In actuality the hologram around him is blending in with the environment around him while leaving him out. Like editing out a person with editing software. He then walks out the door and heads to the marketplace first. Like hell is going to leave his DARCED's behind and let Black Star use his technology. He then gets to the spice containers that were left behind containing them.
He carefully and quietly reaches into each and gets the capsules out from each one. Just in case things go wrong and they need to use this in order to slow down enemy soldier shooting at them so that they can escape with Almus or Almus himself refuses to go down without a fight once they brought him to the ship. With capsules hidden on his person he reconvenes he meets up with Kuueru, Kaijin, and Dain who have all already responded to the radio messages.
"Alright then it is my turn out in the field." Grey said.
He then pressed some buttons and appeared before them as Kaijin's previous disguise.
"Impressive isn't it, and if I press a few buttons here." Grey said.
Then the disguise was "edited" to look beaten up and damaged as if he was in a tussle.
"The illusion is complete, now all you need to do is knock me out but I prefer if Kaijin hypnotized me to do so." Grey said.Post Count: 8 Tags: Queen Kuueru , Doctor Kaijin Vex , Dain Sincara , Legume

How exactly do these things happen, I will never know Kaijin thought to himself. Just a few moments ago, a plan was being constructed, and the situation seemed to be moving on into a more...favorable position. They had dispatched Sasha, and Kaijin and Kuu had taken the guise of Sasha as well as one of her private guard. And just as quickly, everything unraveled. Dain had killed a man in the middle of a busy plaza, and the suspicion of his actions had certainly not gone unnoticed, especially given the subject of conversation earlier. His original plan was to have Dain escape Ruz through some way that wasn't fucking killing him, and then rendezvous with him and Kuu, so that Dain could adopt the disguise of another of Sasha's guards and they could move from there. However, with now there being two confirmed spies, he could hardly risk such, and as Dain approached them, one look at the man's flickering disguise destroyed the last semblance of such a plan, drawing a groan from the Android.
Answer them, Kuueru. Tell them you were locked in battle with the spy or something. After I address Grey and Dain, of course. We will move from there to rendezvous in the marketplace. It might be a trap, but one we could hardly risk, given the stability of this mission lies on how well this plan can be salvaged... Kaijin addressed Kuueru telepathically. With his instructions to the young demoness finished, his eyes shifted over to Dain and Grey, who stood before him. Grunting, he addressed the both of them.
"I will save all commentary on this mission for later....or at least try my absolute hardest to. For now, we must make the best of a bad situation. Dain, I know not your reasoning for killing the Xeno who you interacted with, nor would me knowing improve my mood any more. Nonetheless, Black Star suspects you heavily, so I would appreciate it if you distance yourself from Kuueru and I as much as possible. Why? Well, we are masquerading as Almus's elite, and if we see you, we will attempt to kill you to keep our cover. So, your job, Dain, is to remain out of sight for as long as possible. There is news you escaped the marketplace, but your location has not been determined. Keep it that way, and we will call for you when the time is right. Your flickering disguise and the fact that there are two reported spies about will not do us any favors..." With that said, the masked Android moved over to Dr. Grey, who had adopted a similar visage to Kaijin's previous disguise, prior to switching over to Sasha's Bodyguard. Conducting a quick once over, Kaijin nodded, both in satisfaction and surprise at the fact that Dr. Grey was participating in this mission himself, and had left the comfort of his ship. Albeit, given the circumstances, he would most likely be safer this way....
"Excellent. Good night, Grey." His eyes lit up once more with golden light as the Android channeled psychic energy throughout his body. Suddenly, Kaijin thrust his hands outward, and began to shift them ever so slightly, his body leaning back and forth with the motions as he moved his fingers about in a hypnotic motion, to send the good doctor crashing into dreamland. If successful, Kaijin immediately leaned forward, slinging the disguised Grey's beat up body over his shoulder, much like one would do with a sack of potatoes.
With that done, Kaijin waved his hand as a way of telling Dain to get moving before looking to Kuueru.
"Let them know you and I are coming, and then let's get a move on. We have the first spy."Post Count: 8 | doctorgrey | Legume | Dain Sincara | Queen Kuueru

ICE COLD Kuueru stood there in Sascha's skin. She was hot under the beaming sun, yet all the plan seemed to be twisting and turning into something she hadn't predicted. Not only was there a dead body on their hands, Grey had come up with the plot to join the field as well as to serve as a defeated spy 'enemy'. Whatever. At this point Kuueru just wanted to go with what would get them to Almus the quickest. Her finger pushed finger into the communicator that she had plucked from Sascha's body. The voice that echoed out of it seemed to notice the struggle at the market and was probably actively looking for a body and the spy as they spoke. Hence Kaijin's orders for Dain to stay far from the group. "Sascha here, sorry I got into a scuffle with the spy on my end. I hope you're having more luck with your target than I, I'll meet you in the market in a few."Kuueru's voice flowed from her body in a perfect mimic to the woman who gave a boisterous speech earlier. She would have to be careful in this meeting, they were already so tangled in their lies, they couldn't afford to blow their mission any more. "Aight, let's roll then boys," Kuueru chuckled at the unconscious 'Grey' and Kaijin who carried him around like some sort of ragdoll. They made their way back to the market in time, Kuueru quickly looked for the person who would be on the other end of the line. She watched the crowd for odd gestures be it someone talking into a communicator or looking unnerved. She would be sure to spot them. "Be sure the restraints on that filth are adequate!" Kuueru belted out as Sascha, her eyes flaring while she looked towards the android. 'Keep an eye out, I don't doubt this is a trap,' Kuueru spoke telepathically again to Kaijin.

Dain did not really like it, but he guessed he had very little choice. He was hired as part of the team and if they could not use his help so be it. The Saiya-Jin would get paid all the same, whether he did something or not. He had to resist the urge to give the man the finger as he waved him off. With a shrug he shut down the holographic display and unequipped the armor. With it being shut down, it would begin quickly recharging itself and perhaps he could still use it in the end. “Good luck.” Was all he said, before turning around abruptly. Wearing his dirty gray robe, black spandex pants and wooden sandals, at the very least he looked a lot more normal. With a sigh he reached inside his pocket, plucked out one of his black cigarettes and lit it. A frown appeared on his face as he contemplated what he wanted to do now. If he was not going to join the rest of the team, he might as well have a good time and suddenly there was a sparkle in his eyes. With a small smile on his face and the cigarette bungling from his lips, he changed direction towards the arena. At the very least he looked like a warrior with the sword at his hips, so it should not take too much to convince them to let him have a go.
