These were no pushovers, Korrat found that out the hard way. The kick that Zauran had delivered hit it’s mark, knocking the Lieutenant across the marshy lands, followed by a swift kick into the air. Korrat would manage to recover and dodge to the side, avoiding the Saiyan’s final attack in the deadly barrage. Korrat would roll along the ground and raise his rifle to face the Saiyan, leg slightly sunken into the mud. He would begin channeling the freezing beam into the gun, causing the bullets to gain the same effects as the attack he sent towards Null. Hopefully this would slow them down enough to land some decent strikes. As Null went in for his strike against Korrat, he was stopped suddenly by the large figure that was Yarow. Unlike the other Saiyans, Yarow stood an impressive 7ft tall, and was much more heavily armored. The sword strike intended for Korrat instead bounced straight off the large Saiyan. Yarow looked down at Null and grunted before attempting a headbutt. The attack would be followed by a heavy fisted strike to his chest, attempting to attach a Flash bang to the enemy Saiyan at the same time. The large Saiyan clenched his fist after the attack, causing He and his Lieutenant to burst with a bright blue energy. Yarow cracked his knuckles whilst continuing towards Null. The area which Cloak Commando managed to enter into seemed to be a large hallway. Since it was night, it could be assumed that not many of the Raven Guard would be awake, thus leaving the halls fairly empty aside from the random Guardsmen. At the end would be a split, left and right. To the left would be a sign saying “Barracks, Mess Hall, Armory” as well as two fully armored Saiyan’s chatting. If Commando wished to hear what the Saiyans were saying, he’d need to take a few moments to focus. The left sign would state “Administrator”, there were no Raven Guard that could be seen. Cloak Commando, You may either take the round to listen to the Saiyan's conversation, or go either Right or Left.zarun @cress doctorgreyBATTLE INFO - Lieutenant KorratDEFENSE PHASE.Direct Damage: Zarun Atk 1: Hit, 18 Damage Atk 2: Hit, 4 Damage, Wounded and Burned Atk 3: Miss (Rapid Movement) Null Atk 1: Intercepted by Yarow Atk 2: Hit, 12 Damage, Immobilized OFFENSE PHASE.At Will Assault At Will Dampening Field (+10 Toughness to Yarow and Korrat) Bonus Action Freeze, 95% chance. e|CjhpGj1d100 zarun Cryo Rounds zarun 1d100+35 / 1d100+35 to Hit 2d8 for Dmg 1d100 90% for Freeze EFFECTS.Immobilized 4 / 4 Burn 3 / 3 Wound 3 / 3 TraitsCleverness Assault Grit ItemsDampening Field Magic Cape Mirror Cryo Bomb Defense/Utility TechsFreeze/95% to Freeze/5 Ki 2 / 2 Attack TechniquesCryo Rounds/Single/Bashing/Freeze 90%/2d8/10 Ki Open Fire!/Barrage/3d8/20 Ki PL: 127500 HP:110/150 | Ki: 55/100 | DEF: 75 | ATK Bonus: +35 | Hit Die: d8 | Toughness: 10

Keep a cool head, don't get psyched out. Zarun tried to remember the words that he'd been taught, the kind of mantras that had been drilled into his mind in the short Imperial Officer's course he'd received. Tactics, combat strategy, everything from theory to focusing on an enemy's weakpoints, but more importantly, their strengths. If you could combat their strengths, you would immediately be up against a weaker adversary, and that meant those weaknesses, those pressure points and chinks in their armour were that much worse for them to deal with. So, what did he do? What was this Lieutenant's strength?
As he rushed down towards him, Zarun could immediately tell. He sensed the Ki around him, and he noticed something unusual about it. It was cold. Deathly cold, actually. It wasn't the kind of cold meant to strike at the body, but tear away at someone's insides, and more importantly, their Ki. His own energy radiated with it, and then there was the weapon he was firing, and what looked like some kind of explosive letting off cold vapour on his belt, if that even was what it was. He saw his game now. Freeze up the Ki channels, prevent the energy from flowing freely across the body. As the shots came towards him, Zarun only kept charging, speaking far more sternly through his mind than he usually would.
Null. Recycle your Ki, keep it constantly rushing through your body. This guy is going to try and trap it where it is.[/i[ It was a quick explanation, and didn't really cover any of the theory behind this idea, but it was there all the same. The shots struck across Zarun's body, one ripping into his cheek and slightly bursting past his aura as it did, leaving a small, searing cold mark that stung like hell. The pain only pushed the young Saiyan to fight harder.
Zarun grit his teeth, with a bit more power now behind his strikes as he rushed down, trying to land a powerful, single punch across the Lieutenant's face, hoping to stagger him. He quickly followed up with another, this time to the stomach, before kicking low to try and take the man's legs out from under him and follow up with yet another kick to the abdomen, trying to slow the man down, to cause him haggard breath and slowed recovery.

Thankfully the Saiyan delivering the crates was unable to tell that the dollie got heavier, even though he is not strong enough to be a soldier he is unable to feel the increased weight that the Cloak Commando unit has on his dollie. As he is can be able to push the already heavy dollie with ease. There is a monitor on the dollie that shows how much weight is on it to warn when it reaches the weight limit. Although the delivery Saiyan never pays attention to it, and if he did look at it he wouldn't know that the thing has gotten heavier then earlier cause he's not very good at math. Essentially Cloak Commando lucked out on choosing this option. The crates were filled with more stuff procured from the Chronos Corporation, however instead of weapons and armor they were more so strange devices and equipment that they don't fully understand what they do and what they are for. So the Saiyan is delivering the stolen tech to the storage area so that they can get someone to look at them later. He walks up to the door and types in the password on the monitor next to it, and the door opens letting them in. Cloak Commando looked around from the bottom of the dollie to notice they are going down a large hallway. He peeks out from underneath the dollie to notice the two signs, the one to the left stating it's going to the barracks, mess hall, and armory. And the one to the right going to the Administrator which could lead to the man holding the data pad. But the plan was to find the security room and turn off the turrets to allow his Saiyan comrades safer entry. And then he spots two Saiyans talking. They could give valuable information if he listens in. The robot focuses its auditory receptors onto the two Saiyans talking. "So Korrat and Yarow were sent out on that patrol mission in the swamp eh?" the left Saiyan said. "Yeah I feel sorry for them, that place is nasty, it's much more nicer in here." the other Saiyan said. "The smell is just unbearable, and not to mention the fact that you could sink into that mud." the first Saiyan said. So far they don't seem to be saying anything of worth but Dr. Grey had Cloak Commando listen in more to see if they do have anything to say that he could utilize. Word Count: 417 Andrew C. Having grown used to Kuueru's (Queen Kuueru) tremendous speed, it was almost child's play avoiding Yarrow's attacks.
He tilted his head aside to dodge the headbutt, turning his body as the big man's fist nearly caved in his chest. He may have been slow, but Null would be a fool to underestimate the power behind his blows.
The flash bang was another story. He drove it upward into the air with a deft palm strike, his blade slashing an arc through the metal canister. Electricity zapped along its surface, stunting its trigger mechanism, keeping it from exploding and blinding him. The severed pieces fell harmless to the ground.
He took a step back, and then another, creating distance from the advancing Saiyan.
"I'll warn you once. I don't want to hurt you. We're both casualties of a broken war and a broken people. Not every order must be followed blindly. Know that I'm not your enemy."
With that, he flickered from view, leaving Yarrow something to ponder.
Null reappeared near the lieutenant and Zarun. His blade arced effortless between the gap of Zarun's heavy blows, the two Saiyans fighting with a fluidity that only came with experience and instinct. Zarun's voice filled Null's mind, and he consented with a nod. He planned to avoid that rifle fire as much as he could.
Null was fast, but not invincible.
He still sought to deal a lethal blow to Korrat with his attacks and put the Saiyan down for good. Perhaps then, Yarrow would reconsider this battle. The Saiyan 'Kingdom' was a prime example...
You could not honor an empty throne.

Lieutenant Korrat would fall to a knee out of exhaustion. These guys were too fast too keep up with and the guns were draining their Ki at a rapid rate. He would raise his gun to Zarun, only to drop it as he was struck in the face. Yarow would manage to put himself between the two before the follow up strike was dealt by Zarun, only to be overwhelmed by Null’s interwoven sword strikes. Yarow was only quick enough to catch the last slash. Yarow’s aura would flare up as the final strike impacted, sending a shock towards Null. Korrat couldn’t believe this. His men were all going to die because he wasn’t observant or strong enough. The Lieutenant’s anger would begin to swell as he continued dwelling on his ineptitude. “LIGHT THEM UP!” Spinic and Borage would stand side to side, opening heavy fire on the two enemy saiyans. One of Spinic’s legs was missing, only a burnt stump remaining. The Saiyan had nearly sunken into the mud below and was forced to blast his leg off to escape. If he was going to die, it would be in a fight. The sight of his injured soldier only helped increase the rage that Korrat felt. He was so incompetent that his men had to literally saw off their own limbs to save their lives, so bad at fighting that his men had to sacrifice their own bodies to keep him alive. And now they would all die in this mud filled hell, bodies sinking below, most likely never to be seen again. Korrat’s aura would begin sparking up, like a lighter trying to start. He would double over, holding his head as it did so, trying and failing to keep the anger silent. The ground around him would begin rising slightly as he hammered his fist into the muddy ground. “Yarow, Lieutenant looks injured, we’ll take care of these asshats, get him out of here!” Borage would shout, still helping to prop up Spinic. “Yeah. To be honest though, I’m kind of glad. Spinic is an asshole. Yarow seems pretty cool though. Heard he’s got a family back at home. Wonder if they’re mute too” “Is he actually mute?” “I don’t know, why don’t you ask him when he gets back. If he doesn’t respond I guess you’ll have an answer!” The Saiyan’s would chuckle slightly before leaning back. One of them would look left and then right making sure no one was around. “You want to hear something freaky?” “No one cares about that birthmark” “No, no man. This stuff is crazy. I think it’s just a rumor but the higher ups don’t like us talking about it” “Well come on man, not like any officers are going to be up this late. Gotta get their beauty sleep” “Alright, well, I heard the Captain had connections with Chronos. That’s how he got the datapad. He’s got like turrets and shit guarding his office, only way to get in is either through him letting you in, or getting his DNA. I try to stay away from there in case I get too close, I ain’t getting killed by a bunch of turrets” “I thought turrets were only allowed outside after that whole Ginger thing?” “I did too. Guess Higher ups get to ignore the rules. How is Ginger by the way?” “I heard he can eat solid food again. Dude must have a skeleton of metal or something to survive that shit”BATTLE INFO - Lieutenant Korrat DEFENSE PHASE.

Now that is useful information, if Dr. Grey had Cloak Commando try to go into the captain's office and get the data pad himself or the rest of his team they surely would've perished from the turret defenses they spoke of. Then he would have to get a piece of DNA from the captain to be able to get past the turrets safely. All he would need is just a single strand of hair, but he would have to either find one in his living quarters or pluck a strand from his very head. The barracks are for soldiers, he would have his own private living quarters elsewhere. Logically he doesn't see any reason for why the captain would be in the armory. That would leave the mess hall where he could be eating a meal with some other Saiyans, and even if he is not there he can still gather more Intel from listening in on soldiers conversations which could also prove useful. He quickly got off the bottom of the dollie and began climbing up the wall and onto the ceiling like some kind of horror movie monster. He begins crawling along the ceiling back down the hall and goes left over the unsuspecting guards heads to the direction of the mess hall. He sees a few soldiers walking towards the mess hall and while the door is swinging open he climbs inside and gets onto the ceiling of the Mess hall. He looks down on all of the Saiyans eating and enjoying their meal. He tunes in to listen to all of their conversations hoping one would reveal which one is the captain or anymore useful Intel he would require to get the mission done. So far he is picking up casual conversations and chewing noises, not really anything to make mental note of so far unfortunately. They certainly have a wide assortment of food from meats, vegetables, various assortments of rice, soup, beans, and even some dessert. It was a spread that would be normally seen in a buffet restaurant, and the Saiyans definitely were enjoying it with plates upon plates of the food on their tables. Saiyans are infamous for their huge appetites, originally Dr. Grey theorized that they had multiple stomachs like cows from Earth, but it turns out it more seems like that they have a very high metabolism and require a lot of food to be able to upkeep their bodies high energy output. Although apparently they do have some unique nerves connecting the brain to the tail which activates the Great Ape or Oozaru transformation upon eye contact with a full moon. They seemed to have the squad on the back foot, now. With Yarrow seemingly overwhelmed by these attacks, they only had to move past him, take out the Lieutenant, and then they would be in the clear. Or at least, they would've been. Zarun's senses immediately kicked in as he sensed the two other power levels approaching him. Well, crap. Not good. Not good at all. They were now at a 2 to 1 disadvantage on the numbers game, and he had to think quick. Alright, so the big guy wanted to get the Lieutenant out of here, right? The Lieutenant wasn't doing so well under their attacks. They planned to act as a distraction. Meaning he had to act fast.
Zarun dodged and ducked around the blasts of Ki as they came rushing towards them, making it look like he wasn't putting effort in, which was much as a psychological game as it was anything else. As much as his tactics and strategy had been at the forefront, he was now focused entirely on something else, a different influence entering his mind. For the first time in a battle, he was starting to feel a different kind of desire, a different drive. He saw and understood that if these men won, Null was going to die, and he was going to die. There was no way around it. If what he was told was true, even more might die.
Zarun disappeared as a blast seemed to collide with him, having only gone through his afterimage. In fact, he floated above the, his entire body quaking as he felt a strange anger building up in him. He wouldn't let them kill him. He wasn't going to die in a place like this. Suddenly, the Saiyan's aura erupted as he yelled, a ball of energy surrounding him before Ki blasts rained down from it, all over the battlefield at screeching speed. This display continued for a while before the bright yellow energy seemed to fold in on itself and absorb into Zarun, causing his aura to take a steam-like quality, almost bubbling off him.
He rushed down towards the two Raven Guard Soldiers as he heard one of them talking of how they were going to 'deal' with them, a bloodlust in his eyes as he closed in. "Like hell you are." He seemed to chop the air in front of them, before a torrenting blade of Ki shot from his hand, trying to slice right inbetween them, where the soldier that wasn't maimed was doing his best to help up that soldier who was. Suddenly, Zarun followed up, bringing his leg around to try and drive his knee into the side of Borage's neck, flipping forward and over the two as he did. While still floating upside down he stuck out his hand, firing a beam of energy to try and tear through both soldiers, his teeth gritting as his eyes widened, something having opened up in him during his first real battle.

Things were getting way out of hand. Null regretted attempting a surprise attack against the patrol. It sounded good in theory -- take out a patrol, snag their uniforms, and slip into the enemy base undetected.
Minutes passed as seconds. Null wasn't sure how long ago this skirmish began, but the longer things went, the more difficult their task. They ran the risk of alerting more soldiers. It was difficult enough, and now the other two soldiers had rejoined the fray. Null ducked and weaved between the bolts of gunfire, dodging out of their line of fire.
He watched as a new wind seemed to sweep through Zarun, ramping up the intensity of the battle as he let off a barrage of assaults against Spinic and Borage in an overwhelming display of battle prowess. Null wanted to be impressed, but there wasn't time to admire the young Saiyan's ability. With Zarun engaging the others, he had to keep the lieutenant from retreating.
He flew at into Yarrow and Korrat's paths, effectively blocking their exits. "Have you made your choice? If not, I'll make it for you." Bright blue light flickered between Null's palms as he charged his attack, his white aura flaring wildly around him. It grew in size and density between his hands. "This is your last chance. You can join me, and prove to the universe that we possess worth beyond beating each other senseless! Or you can stand in the way of progress and destiny, in which case, I will defeat you!"
He unleashed his attack, a massive beam of blue-white energy erupting from his hands, barreling toward the two soldiers. Null didn't want to kill them, but he could not afford to fail here.
He had a family to return to, and a destiny to fulfill.
And not even his own brethren could keep him from it.

Yarow turned to look at Korrat, making sure he wasn’t hurt. No, he wasn’t hurt, it was something much better, or worse depending on who you were asking. All the abuse he had taken seemed to finally get to him. Korrat’s aura would begin to flash more frequently, shining a bright gold. Yarow looked back to Null as he went in for an attack. Korrat, even if this is what he thought it was, was already too weak to survive another onslaught. Yarow wouldn’t be able to move in time to stop him. There was only one feasible way this would end, and Yarow didn’t want anyone to die. The large Saiyan would quickly grab the Lieutenant, raise a fist, and sock him hard enough in the face to knock the man out. The golden aura quickly faded away. Yarow would throw the Lieutenant out of Null’s attack path to make sure he didn’t hurt the already unconscious saiyan. Quickly he would make his way to his fellow squad mates, running up and suplexing Borage as Zarun knocked him back with the Ki slices. Zarun was just fast enough to hit Borage in the neck just before his head was buried under the mud. After a few seconds, Yarow would lift Borage’s head out of the mud and remove his helmet. The filters would of been clogged by the mud, cutting off the airway just long enough to knock out the Saiyan. Spinic would push himself up. “Yarow, what the he-” He would be cut off as Yarow kicked his head, cracking Spinic’s helmet and knocking him out as well. Thankfully the two were already weakened by the attacking Saiyan’s relentless onslaught. Captain Sparg walked into the mess hall, hands behind his back. The Saiyan was in a rather nice uniform, almost perfectly cleaned and pressed. It was a strange sight for a Saiyan to take uniformity with such vigor. Some Saiyan’s stood to attention, others didn’t. In all honesty it didn’t matter to Sparg if they followed the rules or not, just as long as they weren’t killing each other. “At ease. I hope you saved some food for me” He would jest before taking his seat. Cloak Commando, roll a 70% Stealth check if you are going to try and get a DNA sample.@cress zarun doctorgrey

Exhaustion seeped into his being. His arms and body felt burdened, as if someone had draped a blanket of lead over him. His shoulders rose and fell in tandem with his heavy breathing, sweat trailing down the narrow planes of his face. He felt like collapsing to the ground, having expended the majority of his energy. It was difficult enough to remain afloat in the air.
Moreso than this, his wide eyes and quivering brow betrayed his surprise and confusion.
T-That was...
Had Lieutenant Korrat truly been about to...?
No. Impossible. Or was it?
None of them would get the chance to see it unfold as a heavy fist from Yarrow laid his commanding officer out cold. In mere moments, Yarrow put down all three of his comrades with stiff strikes that knocked all three men unconscious.
Null glanced at Zarun, unsure of what to say or do. Had his words truly taken effect on the big Saiyan? Was Yarrow... on their side? It didn't seem like that was the case. He made no attempt to approach either Null or Zarun. The sudden silence pressed in on them, the echo of gunfire ceasing all at once.
Soon, the ambient sounds of the marshy swamp returned, as if its hidden critters had deemed it safe once more to resume their nightly cadence.
His white aura dispersing all at once, Null landed on a patch of rough ground near Yarrow and his unconscious allies. His dark gaze held suspicion, but that uncertainty was also mingled with relief.
"Congrats to you and your men. You four are formidable warriors. Perhaps, in another place and time..."
A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. Much like a Saiyan, Null relished the thought of engaging these men in fair combat.
"...anyway. It looks like you're no longer interested in fighting us. Should I assume we're done here?"
He glanced back at Zarun.
"No one has to die here today."

This was infuriating, not only did the captain not seem to be here, but the Saiyans had nothing important to offer. They've been doing nothing but talk about fights they been in, rumors about their colleagues, and sharing weird personal stuff with each other that Dr. Grey wishes to wipe from his memory. It seemed coming to the mess hall was a mistake. Might as well try the barracks and see if any of the Saiyans there had anything that was actually useful to say, unless that is they were all asleep. Those two are taking too long with that squad anyway he might as well go find the security room as originally attended.
But then, a Saiyan of important stature and clothing appears. The way he walked in so calmly with his hands behind his back in such a nice uniform was unbecoming of the other Saiyans. He sees some of the Saiyans stand up in respect towards the man in uniform, while others were too busy eating to notice. After he let out a quipped the uniformed Saiyan calmly sat down on a table. There is no doubt about it in his mind, logically this man is the captain he has been looking for and he's sitting right there.
However, the place he is sitting in is a cafeteria full of Saiyan soldiers who would kill him on sight if he was found out for messing with their meal, but Dr. Grey must take the risk and go in and take a hair strand. Not just because of the mission, because this would be the ultimate test for his creation's stealth capabilities. If Cloak Commando can take a DNA sample unnoticed in such hostile territory, then truly he has created something worthy of the Galactic Empire. So he must do this just to see if he can.
Cloak Commando slowly and carefully climbs from the ceiling, to the wall and back to the floor. Carefully it gets up and slowly crouch walks to the captain's table. It makes sure not to bump into any of the Saiyans or step on any of their tails. He gets behind the captain in question and reaches out his. Ready to quickly pluck out a piece of hair without him noticing. Sweat begins to form on Dr. Grey's head, as this procedure was even more stressful then surgery. He just needs one little strand of hair and he's good. His hand is inching closer to the back of the captain's head, his fingers are almost on his hair, it's do or die now.eQO0k1WC1d100 (Stealth check 70% chance) Word Count: 431 Andrew C. Zarun didn't recognise the golden energy like some other Saiyans might, but when the power had spiked up behind him, he'd instinctively turned to see it for a split second, before he refocused on the two unfortunate soldiers in front of him. The young Saiyan's assault was relentless, and in his haste to get things done, he was fully prepared to bring down a killing blow. Maybe there was just a ruthlessness in him that hadn't had any reason to appear yet, the young Saiyan having had almost no situation ever happen to him that was this serious, never having had this much on the line.
Which was it just left him more confused when Yarrow, the biggest of the soldiers, ran in and began to clobber his squadmates, including the Lieutenant and then the two others who had been unfortunate enough to still be conscious. Zarun was still floating upside down, his hand opened and aimed towards where the two had been standing as he floated there in confusion, watching Yarrow slam down one of the Ravens' head into the mud below. He slowly turned himself to be upright, still pointing his open palm in Yarrow's direction, not wanting to take too many chances.
When Null's eyes shot to his own, Zarun returned the stare. His power was just about starting to die down from the momentary burst that he'd given to it anyway, so maybe this was for the best. He remained still for a few moments, still keeping ready to blast Yarrow before the other Saiyan spoke. Nobody had to die today. "I guess not." Lowering his arm, it was an odd feeling. Why did Zarun almost feel a little..disappointed at how this turned out? Not just that the fight was anticlimactic, that much was obvious, but that...well, it didn't matter now. There were more important things at hand, so he'd either hear out Yarrow, or they could just take these uniforms.
That were now filled with swamp mud. Great.

The large Saiyan looked around for a bit before find a large log, half buried in the mud. He would take a seat and look at Null and Zarun. The armor’s large sickly green eyes scanned over the two saiyans for a bit, before turning to his fallen comrades. Slowly, he would snap the tubing in the helmet out, making a short sizzling noise as the various air filtering chemicals escaped from the filter reserves. The Saiyan would remove the helmet, revealing his clean shaven head and goatee. The left eye of the Saiyan was missing, forced shut by a large scar that crossed the entirety of his face. His good eye would look to Null. “I’m done working for the Raven Guard. Take their uniforms. I’ll stay here and try to convince them to leave as well” Yarrow would once more look down at his fallen squad mates. His expression seemed blank, though the scar did give him a slight glare. “Back when we were with the Dominion, we knew what we were fighting for. When the war ended, we didn’t know what to do. The Raven Guard was just an empty attempt to relive those moments” Yarow Examined his issued rifle before tossing it to Zarun. “Good luck” Captain Sparg winced slightly as one of his hairs was pulled. The Saiyan’s hand shot up to the spot, narrowly missing Cloak Commando’s pincer like fingers. After rubbing the spot for a bit, he’d shrug and return to eating. “Hey Captain! Korrat’s squad has been out there for a while, you want us to go get them before the food runs out?” Sparg would nod and give a thumbs up, unable to speak from his mouth full of food. “Alright boys, out to the Fart Fields we go!” A few armored Saiyan’s would chuckle and they prepared to exit the base. @cress zarun doctorgrey

Null gripped the back of Spinic's collar, hauling the man up from the ground. The armor was heavy, though versatile in design. It would protect the various vital portions of the body while allowing his limbs to move freely as needed. A brilliant design, leagues above the typical battle armor sold on the market. It would do for now. He pressed a button on the side, watching exhaust filter out of the ports on the helmet before removing it to inspect the inside. Tiny bits of data scrolled across the eye ports -- mini-HUDs relaying data, information, and power levels.
No wonder they engaged Null and his group. Seeing their power levels, knowing Yarrow and Korrat were stronger, they acted with utmost confidence versus bowing out of the fight after Null's sneak assault. The fools... Null's tail swished in indignation as he began systematically removing the armor from the unconscious Saiyan's body. "We'll need more than luck. We'll need you not turning us in and giving away our identities." It was easy enough to remove his gi, slipping into the black pants and combat boots.
The armor fit his bulky frame in a snug manner. Spinic was smaller than he was, but it seemed to stretch to accommodate the wearer. One size fits all. "Believe me, friend, there wasn't much glory to be found in the Dominion at the end. So many of our brethren died... Radia's dead. What was the purpose of rallying the people, if she were destined to fall in the end? I'll be sure to amend that." Twirling the thick girth of his hair around his hand, Null managed to twist it into a top knot, shoving the helmet down to conceal his features. His voice became distorted through the helmet's speaker system.
Good. No one would recognize that he wasn't Spinic this way. If they were forgiving of the slight increase to his size, that is. "You made the right decision here today... if you grow weary of the vagabond's life, you'll find me on New Sadla. I'm going to restore our home and redeem our honor. We'll be soldiers of fortune fighting other men's wars no longer." He glanced at Zarun to ensure the other Saiyan had donned the Raven Guard armor as well. "Let's get going. We need eyes on Cloak Commando. Call me short-sighted, but I don't trust anything pretending to be organic."

Dr. Grey managed to get Cloak Commando to pluck a hair out of the Saiyan's head and hid it one of his hidden compartments in one of his fingers, and then his heart almost stopped. Time almost seemed to be moving slowly. As he sees the captain's hand reaching behind his neck. This is it, he has been found out and the Saiyan is not happy. He is about to watch his own creation die through it's very own eye. He begins to sweat profusely as his hands shake with the controller in hand, the doctor took a risk and he is about to pay for his hubris.
And then it as if it's time begins to move again, as the captain simply scratches the back of his head as if it was some kind of bug or insect that bite him. He was in stunned silence for a few seconds. He then came back to reality and moved Cloak Commando a bit back when the Saiyans approached the captain. As they left he silently walked behind them out of the mess hall and then climbed onto the ceiling. He muted Cloak Commando's mic so that he wouldn't be letting out any sound, and sat there for a few seconds. And then began letting out a laugh which began to grow into a mad cackle.
"I HAVE DONE IT, I HAVE CREATED THE ULTIMATE STEALTH ROBOT! MY TECHNOLOGY IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD! I AM TRULY ONE OF THE GREATEST MINDS THIS UNIVERSE HAS TO OFFER! AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" he gloated.
It's a really good thing he was in the privacy of his lab on Mitra and that he muted the robot's mic, otherwise his cover would've been blown by such a careless mistake. Of course the doctor was too smart to make such a critical error. But he felt such joy from actually succeeding and pride in his creation that he felt the incredible urge to gloat so he had to mute the mic on the robot to do so. After letting it out he calmed down, and now his mind was focused back on the mission. As he recalls from the mission briefing, the captain's office is in the center of this building. He had no idea where the security room or the control room for those turrets were so he had to go towards the center to get to the office himself and grab the data pad.
He climbed along the ceiling and took a left after he got out of the hallway he came from, and moved towards the center of the base. He went at a steady pace, not too fast or too slow, cause he was still worried that he might be discovered if he rushed it but at the same time he was in a hurry cause who knows how long the captain will spend time in the mess hall. He stops and drops down and peers across the corner to see a room filled with turrets over the door. His finger opened a little door inside with the captain's hair strand inside. He holds it up in the air as he approached the turrets.
The special turrets bio-scans only detect the hair strand as Cloak Commando is a machine with no DNA to speak of. So the turrets didn't detect Cloak Commando and due to this flaw in their design, believe that Captain Sparg is coming back to his office. If the other two Saiyans came here ,even with the Saiyan's DNA, Dr. Grey is unsure if they would be able to still be safe as they would be seen as threats to the turrets, unless of course they are unable to shoot when detecting Sparg's DNA so that he would allow other Saiyans into his office. He then opens the door open and walks into the office. Now all he need to do now is to find the Data Pad wherever he stashed it.Word Count: 670 Tags: Andrew C. Creed , @cress , zarun

Zarun just stared, confused even if he didn't show a bit of it behind the stoic look on his face. This was a Saiyan, surrendering. Why was he surrendering? That wasn't what Saiyans did, was it? Right?
Yet, as he stared at the bald, scarred Saiyan sitting there in defeat and remorse, just looking for those old glory days again in a small paramilitary group somewhere on the edges of the galaxy, he wasn't looking at some kind of legendary hero. He wasn't looking at a coward or anyone pathetic, either. Yarrow was still a warrior, as much a Saiyan as any other. Yet, he was giving up, admitting a mistake, and he, this whole team, had made such a...normal mistake. The kind he would make. They thought...like he did.
It was a bit overwhelming all at once, to have his expectations shattered, but not harshly, even if that didn't make it particularly easy. The young Saiyan moved his hand up to quickly catch the gun that Yarrow threw his way, and he began working on the other uniform, gently pulling Borage into a better position to lie before he stripped him of his field gear. Glancing over towards Spinic and his new stump of a leg, Zarun couldn't help but feel remose. They could replace those, right?
It stung more to hear Null speaking from his experience as a soldier. Even in the very Army that the Saiyans were known for, there wasn't that much glory? Was it really so little to speak of, so insignificant? Zarun quickly moved Borage's helmet on, sealing the tubes as he could finally stop holding this face, the pained expression now thankfully obscured by the headgear he'd acquired.
Even hearing that they would no longer have to fight other men's wars, was....conflicting. Was that what he was doing, as a soldier in the Empire? It couldn't be. They were a great fighting force, and at the very least he could trust Kuueru. He could, couldn't he? He didn't look at Null, only vaguely hearing that they needed to go, and the comment on Cloak. He'd almost forgotten about the Android, actually. In the heat of battle, it would've been easy to forget why they were even here. "Yeah."
He followed after the older Saiyan, keeping a bit more quiet than usual. This whole situation had given him a little more to reflect on than he thought.

As the two finished dawning their new sets of armor, the brush would begin to rustle slightly. Luckily the two had gone just far enough to out of sight of the unconscious Saiyans. Two fully uniformed Raven Guard men would pop out of a slightly sunken tree, landing in front of the two. “Hey Spinic” He would turn to Zarun and nod. “Borage. You guys better hurry back to the base before the food runs out” He would turn to look at Null . “Though you might want to cut back, Spinic. Maybe all that hetap is finally getting to ya” The Saiyan would slap Null on the shoulder before turning. “Oh and tell Korrat he still owes me that 50 Zeni, I told him we wouldn’t be getting any action today!” The Captain’s office would be a stark contrast to the dull halls and mess hall of the base. The office had lavish wall hangings from various parts of the universe, some were completely unrecognizable. On his wooden desk, which sat center in the room, sat a small rectangular pad, flashing with a bright blue light. Information flashed on the screen, it appeared to be listing blueprints. The various pieces of technology seemed far more advanced than anything previously seen, perhaps helping to explain how a group of Saiyans managed to gather such effective combat equipment. On closer inspection, each blueprint had “CONTINUUM” written on the left corner, followed by the title given to the piece of technology. Finally, the pad would stop with a short message. “We have had a few issues with records keeping, so we’re transporting this master key for our blueprints. Make sure to keep it safe. I’m still amazed that we managed to create such advanced technology back then, especially during a war. Then again, it took a hell of a lot of Saiyan deaths to formulate them, maybe the war was good. If only we managed to win it, we’d probably be able to rule the damn universe. Well, enough of my ranting, stay safe. Raven Guard is still trying to peck at us and they got some strong monkeys fighting for them

The office looked quite ornate for something belonging to a Saiyan. This base was probably procured by them and belonged to someone else. Those turrets seemed too hi-tech for something they could make. In fact the same could be said for their armor and guns. And then through Cloak Commando's eye, Dr. Grey catches sight of what appears to be the item the people who call themselves the Chronos Organization are after. So the captain was allied with them, turned traitor, and stole this data. Might as well look through it to see what there is.
What Nikolas Grey saw shocked him, very detailed blueprints on highly advanced weaponry and technology that he wish he would have designed himself. They were so beautifully made, and yet he noted the word Continuum on each of these blueprints instead of Chronos. Dr. Grey then read through the message the appeared. The way it derogatory referred to the Saiyans as monkies reminds Grey of the man who briefed them on this mission before they came here. So the so call Chronos Organization and this Continuum could be one and the same and they have a grudge against the Saiyans.
Still though he can't just let such beautiful blueprints to such a xenophobic organization and their one track goal. After all if the Galactic Empire learns about this test he did and taking this mission he would need to give something in return to show his loyalty and allow the Galactic Empire to have this technology as well. Luckily, this robot can be able to wirelessly connect to Dr. Grey's computer, all he needs to do is just jack into the data pad. Cloak Commando takes off one of it's fingers which acts like a USB wireless adapter and connects to a port in the Data Pad to connect the robot to the machine. Now all Dr. Grey needs to do is copy the folders from the data pad to his computer.
However, the data pad sends a message asking for administrative access. It seems to be a safeguard for unauthorized data copying. Dr. Grey will have to hack into it and make a bypass to be able to do so. Good thing he read up on the many different types of coding in the universe and took Computer Programming classes in college. He cracked his knuckles and switched the controller with a keyboard. He flexed his fingers and began typing out a code to make the Data Pad think he is an administrator. Time to show how smart he is, his brain against the "Continuum's" technology and coding.(Hacking check 60% chance) jss1GH4S1d100Word Count: 435 zarun , @cress , Andrew C. Creed1d100

They were in the clear for the time being. The black armor did wonders for concealing their identities. Numbers and data scrawled along the HUD, scanners beeping as they locked onto every soldier in the nearby vicinity. It relayed information such as who they were, their ranking within the Guard, and their power levels. It also gauged distance, tracking the position of each guard in the area. This was too easy.
"Heh. Sure thing." His voice sounded monotone through the helmet's speaker, indistinguishable from the other soldiers whom they now followed. Null tried his best to mimic their behaviors and patterns of movement. It wasn't hard, considering these men were former soldiers much like himself. Marching in tandem step was child's play.
It wasn't long before they neared the base itself. The automatic turrets were even more intimidating than Null could have imagined. It was impressive technology, and as he gaped up at the massive energy barrels, Null was grateful each guard's armor registered a specific bio-signature. These cannons would have shredded them upon arrival otherwise.
We need to find Cloak, he relayed through his thoughts to Zarun. Their psychic link had been strong since they arrived. By now he should have located that datapad. This place is built like a square... shouldn't be hard to find the center. When the other two guards made a beeline for the cafeteria, Null paused, holding up a hand to signal for Zarun to stop as well.
"We're going to make our rounds one last time. That swamp smell has a way of making you lose your appetite." Without waiting for a reply, Null headed down the nearest corridor. As if in response to his thoughts, the HUD displayed a mini replica, bird's eye view layout of the base. No way they could get lost from here. "C'mon, Borage."

Zarun honestly wasn't sure how to respond to the other Saiyans' off-hand banter. It seemed like the Raven Guard were at the very least, friendly and cordial with each other, in the weird way that his race seemed to be. He wouldn't ever hold it against them, though. They'd been like this when he visited Katchin, too. It was a nice feeling, to have other Saiyans acknowledging him as one of them, even though he was only playing a character, pretending to be someone he wasn't. Without responding verbally, he just gave a thumbs up to the other patrol, something about the Lieutenant oweing somebody 50 Zeni. Well, if the bet was anything to go by, at least Korrat had won something today.
He followed after Null, sticking to the more experienced Saiyan's lead. He was glad to have someone he was familiar with here; he was pretty sure he could've handled things if it was someone else, and he probably would have taken more of a lead if that as the case, but he was happy to defer to the person with more military experience here. Yeah, he must have. We've been out there for a while. We probably should figure out a way to explain who we are, right?
Zarun hadn't really considered that until just about right now. Although he was pretty sure he could handle it if Cloak tried to ambush them, they'd all be better off knowing who each other were. Better to think about that than the awkward situation Yarrow had put him into back there.
