It had been well over a week since Creed’s new upgrades had been installed. There was much testing which needed to be done, how the energy output faired with increased damage output, the implementation of Energy shielding, and the all new optics which could allow him to continue hunting a running target. Though his work did keep him busy, he still found time for his little passion project. Lucky for him, not so lucky for the group of criminals who now littered the airways of Tech-tech. Criminals were such easy targets, no one except for Paragons cared for their demises. In fact many would prefer them dead. It was a recent robbery on one of the smaller banks on Tech-tech, originating from Biodome #4. They had managed to escape into Biodome #6 before their crimes were even realized. Creed flew in with a trail of green behind him, easily catching up with the escape speeder which the criminals used. Two bright green beams burst from his eyes and impacted with the back of the vehicle. It would begin to sputter as one of the criminals stuck out and opened fire. Creed quickened his flight and snatched the man right from the window. He would pause and examine the man before hoisting him into the air and tearing him in half. The blood was repelled by an invisible energy shield. A new addition suggested by Rine. Creed threw the dead body to the side as his continued towards his prey. The speeders engine would give one final sputter before completely failing. It would come crashing into the side of a building, bouncing off before slamming into the concrete below. The men began to escape from the flaming wreckage, stopping as they noticed Creed standing there with a hand raised. “Where do you think you're going?”
A beam would decapitate one of the three men. He would prepare another volley before pausing. His power level sensor would begin flashing. There was someone with a decent sized amount of Power level nearby, possibly greater if they were suppressing it. This couldn't be a coincidence. “Rine, Emergency Protocol Theta. Just to be safe” “I'll be there shortly”His Emerald gaze would fall on the two men who began their frantic escape. Sure, he'd let them go for now. But he had their faces scanned. Another day, another set of problems on this planet. Tech-Tech was an oddity for the swordwielding Saiyan. He hadn't even heard of that name before he got dropped into the wrong time and had to get acquainted with it. Surely, if it's somewhere near the Galactic core, he should have heard of it before, no? Apparently not. Either it was destroyed during the millenia which had passed or... subsumed into the Galactic Core, perhaps? Either way, he'd occasionally stop by this world, a quick midway point between Earth, where he spent the most time as it resembled his home world the most, and the chaotic Southern and Eastern Quadrants, even if the so-called "Galactic Empire" which ruled this world was not all that welcoming to Saiyans such as himself. As Legume strolled across the streets of the planetary capital, occassionally drawing glances from onlookers thanks to the gigantic ten-food sword, Vanity, he was carrying, he suddenly noticed that something was amiss. More specifically, a speeder suddenly zooming past the Saiyan, followed by a humanoid in a suit of metal flying after them, the two forces clearly racing one after the other. Some chatter broke out among the spectators in the streets, but most didn't seem too interested in what's going on. Just some criminals fighting each other, that's all. Criminals. Violators of the law. Must be stopped. "Excuse me!" Legume exclaimed as he ran through the crowds and passengers, making his way towards the scene - by the time he caught up to the chase, the speeder had already crashed into a wall, resulting in a fiery explosion and the men, thankfully, escaping from the vehicle before they became soup. Only for the armored man to suddenly descend and decapitate one of them with an energy beam. Upon witnessing the spectacle take place, Legume clenched his fists, his ki growing intense from the anger built up within him - something which the man apparently noticed, as he stopped in his tracks and let the two remaining people go, waiting for someone to show up. Fine, that's what he'll receive. Legume stepped from his cover, staring into the armored man face to face, and removed Vanity from his shoulder. "First degree murder. Fifteen or more years of jail time. That's what is waiting for you." the Saiyan murdered, opening up the attack by suddenly swinging his weapon, releasing several powerful gusts of wind and shockwaves from the mass of steel striking the air in front of him. Speaking of paragons… Creed turned to look at the strange looking person with an overly large sword. He looked to be either a Saiyan or a Human, given how he hadn’t attempted to throw one of the buildings at Creed, Human seemed to be the answer. Very heavy power level. This would be the perfect way to stress test the armor. He would chuckle slightly as the man read off his crimes. “You forgot the other murder, but I understand, counting can be hard” Creed said sarcastically. His voice had a metallic tinge to it to avoid recognition. “In any case, am I really the threat here? Last I checked these men murdered just as many as I. Amateur robbers got too in over their heads. But unlike those two security guards, no one will miss them” There was no real need to get the moral high ground on the fool. In all honesty he would of killed them either way. The hypocrisy just amused him. Two emerald beams fired from Creed’s eyes, each moving around various obstacles in an effort to confuse the combatant. A far larger beam would erupt from the center of his chest as the two smaller ones reached their target. Triple Barrage, a nice little technique he had designed during one of his first fights. Slower opponents tended to get so confused on which beam to dodge, that they failed to move in time to avoid the larger beam. “Andrew, are you sure you should fight him? Sensors are one thing, but I can feel that power level from over here. Maybe you should-” “No. I need to make sure the suit is working properly” “It won’t be working properly if it’s disintegrated with you in it” Creed’s energy shield would flair a crackling emerald color as one of the robbers opened fire at him. What a brave fool. Creed turned around and fired a small beam at the man, severing the man’s right arm. “We won’t have to worry about that. He may be powerful but he’s not ruthless. The armored Earthling's answer to Legume's decision to attack forced the Saiyan to strike a furious frown, and he almost immediately replied: "Murdering someone wanted for murder only makes you as bad as them, you know." That's, presumably, the reason why things like laws and legal codes exist. Not that he imagined that what he was saying was getting into the person he was fighting. They seemed to be completely out of any semblance of morality at this point, even if they've only exchanged a few words so far. And Legume opted to push that to the way's side. Instead, what he had to worry about was the series of emerald beams heading his way. Fast. And potentially deadly. I can't sense any ki fron this man, he's wearing a suit and not wielding his own strength... so I don't know how dangerous these attacks are supposed to be. Best to avoid them.Suddenly, everything around him - the beams, the screaming disarmed robber, the armored opponent, everything except Legume - froze, the vicinity around him transforming into a crystalline temporal bubble. A tenth of a second should be enough. Leaping forward, the Saiyan sped past the frozen energy beams and struck his energy-infused thumb at Creed's chestplate, following it up with several more strikes before the Time Skip technique ended. For someone watching from the outside, it would look like as if Legume suddenly vanished from his position and reappeared in front of the armored Earthling, with several energy strikes suddenly shooting into Creed from point-blank range. Immediately after, Legume would follow it up by swinging Vanity forward as several powerful strikes thrown towards the armored man, before pulling back and speaking: "Before I dismantle that exoskeleton piece by piece and take you in, answer me something - who are you?" The man simply stood there after his heroic rhetoric. Was he going to just stand there and- Damage sustained in torso armor. Suggest immediate disengagement for repairs. Creed’s shield crackled with green electricity as the man sustained the unseen assault. It didn’t seem he could use that block of a sword in such a fashion, however. Creed threw up his forearms, blocking the two sword strikes. They were certainly powerful strikes, as they reverberated throughout his entire suit. As he disengaged from the conflict, he noticed a large gash in the right forearm. It seemed to of struck the focusing mirror on the interior of the gauntlet. This wasn’t good, it would cause the energy output for each beam to shift dramatically. One may too powerful and thus causing ineffective aiming, or one may be too weak to cause any damage. “Rine, what the hell did he just do? Last time I checked you needed to move in order to hit someone” “Sensors from your armor show that he did move. The movement was so fast that it couldn’t be seen by the untrained human eye. Even if you could see it, you couldn’t react accordingly, even with the suit” Wonderful, out of all the powerful beings he could of tested the armor against, it had to be a self righteous speedster. Creed would press a few buttons on his left arm before looking up to target the man. Various beams of different power would rapidly fire out of Creed’s eyes as he edged closer. His intention was not to hit, it was to distract. As he closed in Creed would raise an open palm to the man’s face, spraying some sort of strange chemical towards him. “My name doesn’t matter. You won’t see me again after today”
Biological warfare was generally considered inhumane in this day and age. Creed didn't really care given the large market for it. If the neurological virus managed to infect the man, his senses would slowly begin to bite back at him if he performed any strenuous activities. The man didn't answer Legume's question on his identity - which was barely even a question, more of a demand to explain himself - and instead made an action which sent any respect or hope which the Saiyan might have had on this being a mistake off the window. Sinking like a rock. More specifically, the armored Earthling released a biological agent into the air - in the middle of a god damn city! Sure, it seemed personalized, as it was sprayed directly into his face, but it's still too much a risk to use in battle in populated areas. Legume instantly clenched onto his face to try to prevent intaking any of the dangerous chemical, but it was too late, as the Saiyan suddenly released several bloody coughs and collapsed on one knee, his senses dulling and shifting, his body weakening from the instant effects of the agent. Just in time for the armored man to send several energy beams his way. Damn it!.. Come on, you can't give up yet... It's just a cough...Everything in his vicinity turned into a crystalline time bubble yet again, and Legume, ignoring the pain pulsating across his body, ran forward, passing all of the attacks heading his way and sending a single powerful punch towards the opponent's torso right before the Time Skip ended. " You're correct, we won't meet again," Legume muttered afterwards, his voice a little more coarse from the effects of the virus and the blood bottling up in his throat. " Because, depending on the court's decision, you'll either be in jail or six foot under the ground." The Saiyan swung with Vanity yet again, sending several horizontal slashes towards Creed. It felt as if he was struck by a train as the Saiyan’s fist collided with his armor. The power containment unit cracked slightly as the metal around it bent. He could feel multiple ribs cracking as the suit bent inwards, making it difficult to breath. The suit would inject him with various painkillers to keep him functioning and awake. Rine was right, this fight was way over the suits capabilities. But it did provide some wonderful information, mainly that he should begin work on implementing a new targeting system. Blood splattered the interior of the mask as he coughed. The only solace he got from the fight thus far was that he managed to infect the man. “R-rine, prepare the evac ship. He won’t be able to-” More blood would escape from his mouth as he continued coughing “To follow it… No matter how fast the fucker is…” The evac ship was equipped with a specialized FTL Engine which could launch them into any random direction. He could use the ship’s medical facilities to properly heal before returning to Tech Tech. Though the thrashing Rine would give him for this would probably be worse than anything that man could muster. Creed would press his hands into the armor’s torso and slowly rip open the core which was housed in the center. “Arrest this” A large burst of green energy would escape outwards, completely destroying the suit’s power source in the process. The beam which was fired would be aimed directly towards the man, if he dodged it then it would easily cleave through the buildings behind him. Knowing these heroic types, however, he’d have some way to stop it. The depowered armor would fall towards the ground at an accelerated rate. Without power it would weigh well over a ton. That combined with Creed’s already broken body meant he was going no where of his own accord. Suddenly a blue blur would appear, sweeping Creed from the air and off the planet. There we go, the second Time Skip strike seemed to have done some real damage at last. Creed stumbled back from the powerful strike, the chassis of the metal suit got bent by the attack, and even though the armored Earthling still found enough guile in him to dodge the following Vanity slashes, the fight seemed like it was going to be over anytime soon. Legume was already preparing himself for a third and final Time Skip strike. The fact that Creed has been able to endure two Time Skip strikes so far should be a compliment for him. It is, after all, an assassination technique, taught to all of the elite members of the Galactic Army as a way to swiftly dispatch of powerful opponents. And he- What the hell is he doing?! Creed suddenly released a massive energy beam from the suit's chestplate and immediately disembarked from it, transported out of the battlefield by a blue light. The bastard is fleeing from battle, fleeing from the law! Before Legume could even try to catch up to him, however, there was the problem of the massive energy beam heading his way. He would have no trouble dodging it, but it would be bound to destroy much of the city if he did. So the Saiyan instead stood his ground, stretching his hands out forward and letting the beam slam straight at them. Legume's feet dug into the ground and his teeth clenched, and slowly, but surely, he collapsed the attack into a single, small and condensed energy ball in his hands. Taking a few deep breaths, Legume tossed the ball into the sky, watching it disappear into the vastness of empty outer space. "Now then..." Legume pressed his index and middle finger on his forehead, preparing to teleport. However, he couldn't find Creed's signature anywhere. Right... The man was so weak outside of his suit that even if he had a power level, it would be too far away at this point for him to pick up. He escaped from the law. Bastard. Defensive Phase

The injuries would of been extremely painful and could of easily of ended in death if not for the suit. One of the ribs would've actually punctured his lungs if they hadn’t been cybernetically enhanced already. The spot where the energy core was housed left a serious third degree burn. If he had opened it in even slightly the wrong direction, he would have a hole through his torso or maybe even be cut in half. Luck seemed to be the biggest factor in this battle. Rine laid him on a table as the suit’s emergency seals popped off and allowed him out. It was relieving to get rid of the pressure from his torso. Not that it was painful, the painkillers sought to that. There was much which could gathered from the fight. The suit was in no way equipped to deal with fast moving targets, it’s reaction time was too slow, and the shielding wasn’t strong enough. A targeting system would be best, perhaps based off the target’s Ki signature. Creed would push himself off the table, ignoring the loud cracking sound coming from his chest. Rine would grab him to stop him from moving. “If you keep up like this, you’ll kill yourself” She said with an angry glance. “I was just trying to get to the medical pod” He would look down at his bruised and deformed ribs. “Oh. Wow” He would say, surprised at the actual damage sustained. It wasn’t long after that he’d pass out from the injuries. Rine loaded him into the pod before setting course back to Tech Tech.
