There was a new potential buyer. Not an investor, nor a Company. A singular buyer by the name of Doctor Kaijin. It was not common for someone to buy directly from CCE, nor request a tour of the their facilities along with an examination of the wares. Indeed if this had been anyone else Creed would of laughed them off as an eccentric entrepreneur. But not Kaijin. Creed didn’t know about the boy specifically, but he knew the name tied with him. Doctor Evelyn Janus. An interesting Former Government researcher who was rumored to take up Artificial Intelligence after her less than graceful termination. Creed had some interest recruiting her for his own AI Wing. But she had sadly passed away in a rather gruesome way, along with her colleagues. During his research on this unconventional customer, he had managed to get some private information some of which regarded Dr. Janus. Perhaps this person would know of her research or where he could obtain such information. Either way he was a well paying customer, one he would show around personally. Creed held his hands behind his back, staring out at the red smog of Tech-Tech's surface. “Mr. Creed, the buyer should be here shortly” Creed’s assistant stated over the Intercom. "Thank you Rine" Creed would spare no expense on introductions. First impression is everything after all. The kid would be set up with one of the best hotels that Biodome #12 had to offer, free food and drink, as well as full reign of the cities various entertainment sections. To top it all off, Creed would show up to the Spaceport in his own personal limo along with a bottle of Abbayorian Champagne. There was indeed more to this Limo than met the eye, as stored within were various compartments containing pieces of his Armor. Guns were just below the headlights and the back area could be shifted into a 40mm Grenade Turret. Eco Terrorists were being more and more common since the first major attack, precautions were needed. Creed opened the bottle of champagne and poured two glasses whilst waiting for Kaijin’s ship to land. Word Count: 337 Doctor Kaijin Vex

Tech Tech was, by far, his favorite planet.
A technological marvel of a planet, in which the inhabitants, from an early age, showed a natural talent and interest for technological innovation and ingenuity, the likes of which could only be compared by a few species in the entire galaxy. Even with all of Kaijin's recent successes in the field of science, his progress did not compare to the Tech Tech race. Their obsession with progress and evolution was unparalleled, and reflected Kaijin's own obsession, which often made for good conversation. The scientist, in his several visits to the planet, often found himself wrapped in avid discussion with the natives, in which he found minds, organic ones at that, whose genius seemed to compare to his own. With such a supportive and intellectual race of people, Kaijin was quickly becoming infatuated with the planet itself, and was already preparing to establish his laboratory here.
However, he needed to become more familiar with alien technology first.
As advanced as Kaijin was, and as much data and knowledge as he held, his body, and the extent of his abilities were based on state of the art Earth tech, mostly procured from the black market, or from Capsule Corp. His being incorporated, very sparsely, of alien tech, and even then the aspects of his body that did contain such foreign technology were relatively small, and only offered a small bit of assistance when it came to Kaijin's overall function. As well as the Android functioned on his own, he desired more. He wished to upgrade himself, incorporate more alien technology into his own being, evolve himself to even greater heights of power and understanding. For his body to be able to resonate and synchronize with various brands of tech throughout the galaxy. He sought endless knowledge and understanding, to be ever present. To be omniscient.
That was the gist of today's visit.
In his synchronization and absorption of "Nirvana", Doctor Evelyn Janus's supercomputer, into his own systems, Kaijin had become aware of every aspect of the Doctor's life and research that had been documented into the supercomputer, which was quite a great deal. In a way, one could say he had inherited her brilliant mind from the doctor herself, which explained why Kaijin was as obsessive over progress as he was, for he inherited several traits from the very same doctor that he sought to destroy in his early days, in his bid for freedom.
Among the hundreds of thousands of files integrated into his databanks, Kaijin had focused on one single file that could serve to prove beneficial. A company, based on Tech Tech, under the leadership of a man named Andrew C. Creed. Creed Cybernetic Enhancements, the company was called.
Apparently, according to the small notes next to the company files, Janus had planned to collaborate with them at some point, in an effort to improve upon Kaijin's own design, in the creation of her next Android, Designated as number Forty Three, whereas Kaijin's own designation was number Forty-Two. Obviously, her death led to the end of those plans. Kaijin had no intent to continue Janus's work when it came to the creation of independent artificial intelligence....just yet. First self improvement, then production line.
Capitalizing upon such information, Kaijin had established the meeting with the CCE, in which the company had made arrangements to meet at the spaceport, with living arrangements and a variety of other accommodations made to favor the buyer, most definitely in the hopes that the display of good service would only entice Kaijin to buy more.
The luxuries didn't matter in the least for a man who did not need to sleep or eat, and had little to no interest in the planet's tourist attractions. He was here for the products.
Stepping out to the limo that was parked in front of the spaceport's ground transportation, Kaijin was sporting a fairly long blue overcoat with a fur rimmed hood. His sleeves sported a multicolored floral pattern, his red earrings and hairpins hidden beneath his hair proving to match his eyes in their intense red color. His skin was pale, almost the color of alabaster, near matching his long white hair in color.
His strides long, and his posture absolutely flawless, Kaijin would begin to slowly approach the vessel. His strange, unnatural red eyes would focus on the limo, and as the attendant next to the limo began to approach him, Kaijin would speak.
"Doctor Kaijin Vex, of Earth. I have an appointment with Mr. Creed."

The large attendant had a very inhuman appearance about it. It stood at well over 6ft tall in a typical black suit. The attendant seemed to of donned a full black mask with two large green eyes and various tubes jutting out into its back. It stared silently at Kaijin for around thirty seconds, scanning just to make sure he had no weapons. The attendant would nod before opening the door for Kaijin to enter. Inside sat Mr. Creed sipping on the glass of champagne. “Welcome to Tech Tech, Doctor Kaijin. I hope your travels were satisfactory?” He would set down the glass and light up a cigarette. The Attendant would turn heel and began it’s flight back towards CCE’s Security HQ. “It’s an automated transport vessel. I’ve found computers drive better than any organic ever could. Well, let us be off. I’m sure you didn’t come here just to stand and stare at my Limo” Creed would offer Kaijin a glass of Champagne. Tech-Tech had a much lower drinking age than most other planets. A result of younger and richer business men gaining governmental power. But this was not the only reason why Creed held no qualms about giving this fairly young kid an alcoholic drink. That scan had revealed quite an interesting array of information about Kaijin. Mainly that he was not organic. Oh it was certainly difficult to discern at first, the quality of the artificial skin was superb. The interior had been designed in such a way to give the idea of organic function, whilst being entirely more efficient. But the major thing which gave away him being an Android was his brain. The synopsis fired much to rapidly, as if a super computer was housed within his head. Creed didn’t wish to pry, not just. “Tech Tech was once a beautiful place I heard. Before all the technology and pollution turned it into a desolate wasteland. It’s quite impressive how it’s people were so adamant on staying, even with the technology to leave” He would blow out a puff of smoke. “But also quite pathetic how with all of their technological advancements, they never did try formulating a way to make their planet habitable again. They cling too much to the past, never accepting change” Their main production facility would come into view, popping up on a holographic display to inform the Limo’s inhabitants of their imminent arrival. Creed finished off his glass of champagne before dropping his cigarette into a small tray. “I was quite interested in meeting our first singular buyer. It’s not common for a person to make dealings with us directly, usually they’ll work for larger entities” He would look out the window. “But I understand your curiosity in our product’s manufacturing. I wouldn’t buy something without knowing all I could about it and I don’t expect you to either. Our first stop will be the Production Facility. If you wish to continue after that, we have Research and Development along with Testing and…” He would pause, looking for the right words to describe the facility. “The Employee Integration Facility. One of my personal favorites” The Limo would land softly on a designated landing pad, Creed would step out as the Limo doors automatically opened. The Large glass dome protecting the denizens of Biodome #12 was a mere mile or so away. Land was always cheaper near these areas, especially since Eco Terrorism became more rampant. Two guards which looked very similar to the previous attendant stood by awaiting the group. Unlike the attendant, these men wore heavy metallic armor with a green glow emanating from various points. They didn’t seem to have any weapons on them. Creed would continue forward at a reasonable pace as not to lose Kaijin on the tour. The guards came trudging behind. As the automatic doors opened, the group would be introduced to a large and bright factory area. It was pristine white, completely sterile to ensure the Cybernetics are void of any harmful pathogens or bacteria. Creed would walk over to a large cylindrical device and enter into it. After a few seconds he would emerge in a fully sealed protective suit. If Kaijin were to look down at the factory floor he might notice workers of various heights also wearing the suits. “Please equip one of the suits before continuing” Creed said through the suit’s speakers. Once Kaijin finished getting his suit equipped, Creed would hold out a hand beckoning the lad forward. “You have free reign of the factory floors. Just make sure not to move too quickly, wouldn’t want to get lost and mistaken for a worker” Creed would follow behind. The machines were state of the art and fully automated. The only employees which were present ensured the production maintained its peak efficiency whilst also looking for issues with the end production and resolving the cause if any are found. Creed wouldn’t stop Kaijin if he attempted to scan the machines or take one of the cybernetics off the line. Every employee had been informed of these possibilities. An interesting welcoming party.
Kaijin was never one for flashy entrances, and this one was about as fancy and lavish as they came. The attendant towered over the good doctor by at least a foot, and seemed to be some form of automaton. Of course, the likes of which would be inferior to his own design, but not many Androids held the technology, as well as the independent nature to pursue self improvement in order to constantly improve one's own design. It was a shame, of course, but who was he to judge? Or even care, frankly. He was here on his own mission.
And the object of his mission was right before him. Andrew C. Creed.
Sliding into the limo, the pale, white haired teenage focused his intense red eyes on Creed, scanning him intensely for a few moments before leaning back. He accepted the champagne from the man, but made no move to drink it. He wasn't necessarily a fan of alcohol. Due to Doctor Janus's side goal of making her Androids as human-like as possible, she programmed her creations with an ability to eat and drink without it tampering with their mechanics. Kaijin did not need to eat or drink to survive, due to possessing a limitless energy core capable of satisfying all of his needs for survival, he simply did so out of pleasure, and had the capacity to taste. While such a special addition to his technology allowed for a strong fixation on hot chocolate, it also allowed him to form a strong distaste for alcohol. He simply found it...unappealing. He couldn't understand why organics, especially humans, found themselves growing addicted to the shit. But hell, he barely understood why organics did most things.
Again, off topic.
Tilting the glass back and forth, allowing the liquid to slosh around, while not spilling, the good doctor would speak as the limo rode through the streets of Biodome Twelve.
"The Tech Tech are a species obsessed with progression and pursuit of knowledge and improvement, a trait I share with their species. Their solution to the pollution issue was the creation of artificial landscapes, otherwise known as the Biodomes. To them, the issue has been solved and their efforts are better suited looking to the future, to greater technological breakthroughs. It is not a matter of them clinging so much to the past, Mr. Creed. Quite the opposite. They look too far to the future to be stuck cleaning up after themselves. If their industrialization does not impede upon their ability to survive and thrive as they do now, to them there is no reason to fix it. As things stand, Mr. Creed, I do not believe the vast majority of innovators will look to solve the problem anytime soon. However...if it is your intent to attempt to make the planet habitable again, they would pounce upon that once such a method was discovered. Just because they would not waste time to create themselves, doesn't mean they wouldn't herald someone else creating the means to do so as a technological genius. However, I will not presume to know your motives. I am not here for that, after all..."
Call it the curse of scholastic pursuit, but he couldn't help but discuss the finer points of culture with the man, based on what the scientist knew. The Tech Tech were one of the few species in which he truly connected with, and understood, and despite their flaws, felt a need to defend them. They held the same drive he did....the desire to constantly improve. Become better. Build something more.
Nevertheless, the doctor faded into silence for the rest of the limo ride, greeting the rest of Mr. Creed's attempts at conversation with half hearted nods and "Mhms" that truly didn't mean much. Their first stop would be the Production Facility. It was time to see what the CCE had to offer.
Several minutes and several large bodyguards later, Kaijin was traversing through the halls in a bodysuit, apparently meant to protect the tech from any form of taint, a precaution that he couldn't help but appreciate. If nothing else, Mr. Creed took his business quite seriously. As he walked through the halls, the Android did not move to touch anything. He didn't need to, nor did he wish to disrupt any of the machines in its' natural state. As he scanned each cybernetic component, each piece of machinery, he could feel their codes resonating to him, speaking to him. If he closed his eyes, he could almost hear them. He desired to synchronize with them...to learn everything they had to tell him. They were works of art...pristine in their make, and with no noticeable flaws or delays in their design. True marvels of Tech Tech technology. It was beautiful, like a finely crafted canvas of painted artwork, a masterpiece of a renown artist.
"How...invigorating...." The Android whispered as he closed his eyes, holding his head slightly upturned. Impulse began to take over, a result of his personality matrix. He almost desired to seek to buy right then and there, a result of his excitement for potential improvement and integration of alien technology into his own body. But reason won over such irrational thoughts, and he calmed himself down. He requested the full tour for he had desire to see the company as a whole before making a decision. And he wasn't simply going to change his plans because of bullshit such as his own impulsive excitement to experiment with new toys. If he was going to do this, he was going to do this right.
"Impressive, Mr. Creed. I am pleased so far...thoroughly pleased. Show me the rest of the facility."

The lad closed his eyes, as if basking in the various machinery at work. It was quite strange. Then again, he wasn’t human. Perhaps he felt something that biological beings just couldn’t. Kajin wished to continue the tour which was understable. Testing would be the best choice, given that Research would be too lackluster and Integration… There was no need to show surgery to an Android. Kaijin would probably just install the cybernetics himself. Creed walked towards a large door with “Airlock” written across it. The doors would slide open with a loud hiss. Creed would enter, waiting for Kajin before sealing the door. “There is a button to the right of the helmet. Just press it and leave the suits here, they’ll need to be cleaned before entering circulation again” With a slight beep the suit would increase to twice it’s normal size before sliding casually off. The other set of airlock doors would open, revealing a bullet shaped tram and a woman. She seemed to be a member of Burter’s Race and carrying a bright green datapad. She would hand it to him before taking a seat on the tram. After examining it for a little while he would turn to Kaijin. “Apologies for the wait, just some information regarding a side project of mine. We’ll be heading to Testing next, I’m sure you’ll want to see what our tech can do in field” Creed took his seat next to the woman. “Oh, and this is Rine, my assistant” She would simply nod at Kaijin before whispering something to Creed. The words “Suit” and “Damage” seemed to be repeated quite a bit. “So, Kaijin. I’m quite interested in what your plans are for this tech, if you don’t mind me asking. We have quite the assortment of utilities and military technology. We’ve even begun rolling out new Lung purifiers, though they aren’t as effective as I wish I could make them” The tram would stop after 2 minutes of travel. Testing had to be kept underground for safety reasons. Couldn’t have possibly dangerous cyborgs running amok on the surface. Creed stepped out and entered through another airlock. This time there was no need for a suit, as the subjects were already integrated and separated from the scientists. There would be a long hallway with dozen of scientists walking back and forth, clacking away at consoles. Along the hallway walls were glass panels which revealed the subjects. They were in orange jump suits with shaved heads. Some were scaling large and intricate obstacle courses while others simply sat as different gasses poured in. “Many of these men and women are volunteers. They are paid handsomely and given free cybernetics, opening up their chances for employment. A Mining company is more likely to hire you if you can breathe without a gas mask. A deal which far outweighs the risks, wouldn’t you say?” Creed would saunter over to one of the unoccupied consoles with Rine following behind. A man with large metallic eyes would sitting behind the glass and waiting for orders . “If you are looking for something specific, you are sure to find it here. This happens to be one of my favorite enhancements thus far” He would lean forward and open the speakers. “Please give us a demonstration S-7734” The man would stand up and look at the wall. Two large beams of red energy would burst out, scorching the wall. After a few seconds the man would stop and take his seat. “They focus the latent Ki within most biological creatures and condense it into an attack. Of course one doesn’t need to be biological to use it, they only need an energy source” Creed held his hands behind his back, once more allowing Kaijin full reign of the area. Though at the end of the hallway, if he so ventured, Two guards would be barring the way. A large red sign above would state “AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY”

It didn't take too long for Mr. Creed to get a move on, on his way to give the good doctor the rest of his tour. However, at this point, Kaijin hardly needed to see more. He had deemed Creed's cybernetics to be of a completely different quality than that of most businessmen within the same field. More often than not, they offered low tier pieces of garbage and then had the audacity to call it the most cutting edge technology offered on the market today. When presented with such an insulting prospect, the good doctor then proceeded to make his leave, in search of better business.
But not Mr. Creed, however. A first amongst the Android's own experiences. Perhaps.....he would be the one to invest in. To pose the question to.
His thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Creed's assistant, Rine, who then proceeded to engage in deep conversation with the man for several minutes, leaving the Android to dwell with his own thoughts as the tram shot towards to what Creed had called "Testing". Apparently, the zone where all cybernetic prototype experiments were put to use in order to see how they operated in actual practice, and to resolve any kinks or design flaws before they could be released to the general populace. It was good to see, for even if Kaijin connected positively with the technology in the last showcase room, seeing how they worked and performed in action. Stopping alongside Creed, he observed silently, only speaking once Creed's showcase of "Demonstration S-7734" was concluded.
"Bringing out latent, unused or wasted energy within one's body...and bringing it to light an energy blast. Perhaps can even be approved upon to absorb ambient Ki in the atmosphere, remaining after the energy blasts of opponents, quickly converted to artificial energy that is compatible with the cybernetics, thus creating powerful blasts of energy at little cost to the user. One will find that their own spiritual Ki, or in my case my energy reserves, will deplete less energy yet maintain the same lethality output. Techniques recorded in history, such as the Spirit Bomb, have depended on the absorption of ambient Ki, albeit on a much larger scale. However, history books and research provided by the legendary scholar Son Gohan in Groundbreaking Science, have long since shown us the power of techniques such as this, in his more scholarly versions of the text, meant for those of a higher echelon of knowledge than the general populace."
"Project Ambience, that is what it should be called, if you are willing to. I am personally invested in purchasing this project, on the grounds that I am allowed to help you upgrade it. The harnessing of latent Ki within one's body, as well as the absorbing and alteration of ambient Ki into usable energy would provide one with immense power, capable of augmenting their offensive and defensive output tenfold....it is...a glorious idea."
Kaijin was on a roll now, the words just flowing out of his lips as his expression grew more and more animated, as his potential plan began to take shape. Began to expand. This technology was good, amazing even. But with him to upgrade and build upon it, it could be even better.
It could be revolutionary.
"I am impressed with your work, Mr. Creed, and I propose my services to you in the form of a partnership of sorts. It would be foolish to assume that I cannot help with the vast stores of other projects you have laden throughout this facility, whether a finished project in need of additional components, or a mere thought plotted onto paper in the form of blueprints. I can help with it all....on the grounds that you assist me in integrating your technology into my own form, to build my own power...beginning with Project Ambience, or Demonstration S-7734, whichever you wish to call it. Also, I do expect a portion of the profits, it is only natural. The work of science is not cheap. But, I am flexible when it comes to money."
It was a generous offer. And Kaijin ultimately had nothing to lose. If Mr. Creed agreed, it would only begin to blossom into a beautiful partnership that could benefit them both tremendously. Should Creed refuse, however, it was of no loss to Kaijin. A few diagnostic scans of the technology, along with acquisition of the right raw materials should allow the good doctor to replicate the technology used to create Demonstration S-7734 within a few months time, and given a few more months, Project Ambience would be complete, without Mr. Creed to assist and sponsor. However, things were so much more interesting with more heads in the midst. Especially if the heads were brilliant enough to keep up with the good doctor.
It was up to Creed, at this point.

That was...an unexpected turn of attitude. It seemed Creed was correct in bringing Kaijin here next. The lad was utterly ecstatic at the notion of S-7734 alone, there’s no telling how much more he’d be willing to purchase if shown the other tests. Creed grinned slightly. “It’s not just an efficient and powerful means of attack. It can allow anyone to manipulate Ki into a blast without training” He would hold his hands behind his back. “We would be able to give the powers of Gods to mortal men. Defense forces could combat planetary threats without need of intervention from a singularly powerful being. The income from private armies would be enough to purchase several planets” Creed would turn to Kaijin as he proposed a partnership, even titling a Project. Everything was falling into place perfectly. He didn’t even have to offer Kaijin anything to coerce him to join, the terms given were more than satisfactory. There was just one more matter to be settled. “I would be fully willing to work with you on such a project. But I was also interested in your knowledge on Artificial Intelligence. You see, the reason I brought you here today was because of your involvement with someone known as Doctor Janus. I was originally going to ask for her assistance in the matter, but as I’m sure you know, she has passed away. You seem to be even more intelligent than her on the matter. I am designing a specialized Lung purifier which will require a specialized AI capable of sorting various chemicals in at least .0005 seconds each. I know that popular AI technology has yet to surpass the .005 mark as of now. Hence why I ask for your assistance on the matter. Consider yourself a partner of Creed Cybernetics, you’d be given the best possible wage we have to offer, along with full reign of the scientific department and previous testing logs. If all goes according to plan we will not only revolutionize the Cybernetic market, but become some of the richest men in the known galaxy. Our power alone would be enough to purchase Capsule Corp” He would hold out a hand for a handshake. “Do we have a deal?” Word Count: 337/2,184 Doctor Kaijin Vex

Wondrous. Creed was indeed correct on what vital part of his response to Kaijin: The silver haired Android was indeed more brilliant than Doctor Janus, in nearly all aspects. However, despite such immense brilliance and potential for growth, he lacked the funding to do so. Doctor Janus and her research team survived initially off the remnants of their money that they robbed the government of prior to going into hiding, and when that well eventually ran dry, they sent Kaijin Vex out to replenish their supply through various assassination missions for various underworld bosses on Earth. That well also ran dry once Kaijin killed Doctor Janus and her team, for he most definitely could not continue his bounty hunting and test blood samples in his lab at the same time, so he had to venture farther. Farther than Janus would.
Creed offered the resources and the funding to practice as he desired. Between him and Demon King Lute and the demon known as Kuueru, he would find himself in an adequate place to practice using the most high tech equipment the galaxy had to offer, and had the means to collect as many resources, genetically based or non, that he needed in order to test the scores of hypotheses that ran through the Android's head on the daily. The curiosity of the scientist was one that could never be quenched. Every successful experiment turned scientific conclusion only prompted yet another hypothesis to take its' place, just begging to be tested. Kaijin merely had to please Mr. Creed, as well as Kuueru and Lute, and they would reciprocate.
Apparently, the first task Creed had for the good doctor was on the matter of Artificial Intelligence. Fitting, giving Kaijin was one of the most advanced forms of artificial intelligence to ever walk the universe, only bound to improve and evolve as time went on. He apparently wanted Kaijin to program an AI compatible with his Lung Purifier design, capable of sorting chemicals faster than the latest technology can, at a .0005 of a second rate or less. That alone was enough to crack a small smile on the Android's face.
"Your first task is rather simplistic in nature. I need only study the blueprints of your design, and I believe I can draw up blueprints for the program within a few days time. Once I am familiar with the design of your purifier, the rest should be elementary, for I will finally be provided with adequate resources to work. Nonetheless, I find your conditions and deal acceptable, and thus I will solidify with a handshake." Kaijin said, extending his hand to Mr. Creed, and shaking it to seal the deal.
"I suppose I should begin moving my portable supplies into what is soon to be my office and laboratory. How soon can we begin?"

Creed gave a slight grin as the Android child asked about starting. “Why don’t you follow me, I have something you might be interested in” Creed would return back to the tram system, waiting for Rine and Kaijin before setting off again. Creed would sit back and look out as the Tram exited a tunnel out into a large complex of white buildings. Various construction bots would seem to be adding onto the various buildings surrounding the tracks. “My business started out small. It had to after the Eco Terrorist attack. Well, Eco Terrorism is what the government blamed it on. In any case, I helped this company grow from a single building into three, and then into seven. Our wings are simply meant for touring purposes, we show the bare minimum to our prospects, some of the newest technology we have developed. This, however” He would beckon to the vast array of different buildings. “This is the true Creed Cybernetics. My friend, what you see around you is the culmination of a near 3 years of sheer scientific advancement. Even the construction bots are of the most advanced caliber any robotics company has managed” The tram would stop in front of an almost citadel-like building. Creed would step out as two guards scanned the group before returning to their posts. He would lead them into the building through a set of automated glass doorways. After passing through a few more door ways they would reach the true Research department. Well, the most important building with regards to the department. The enormous room would be filled with near hundreds of researchers, all working on seperate pieces of technology. Some would be working together in an attempt to integrate the various cybernetics into one piece, whilst others poured over papers and various X-Rays of cybernetically enhanced Xenos. “This is the pinnacle of research and development. Our products require the utmost quality, so I have spared no expense on our Scientists. Almost all of these buildings have been designed for Research or testing” He would walk over to an elevator near the entrance, scanning his hand and eye before it opened. Creed would hit the second to last button on the elevator, almost 100 stories in height. The two would step off into a hallway filled with some of the most lavish offices imaginable. These were the lead researcher offices, imbued with some of the most advanced recreational technology on Tech Tech and perhaps even the galaxy. The group would walk to an empty office without a nameplate as of yet. “Your office will be outfitted with Rectek’s Omni Drink and food dispenser as well as a fully functional bedroom. You will have one of the best views on Tech Tech and a direct link to the entire scientific team which will be at your disposal. My friend, you may start working at anytime you wish” It filled Creed with pride to know that things had gone so well. Kaijin seemed to share Creed’s desire for scientific advancement, although not so much his desire for wealth. And though the kid might be a bit odd, so were most of the scientific staff. Oddities are the catalyst for innovation. Kaijin could easily advance numerous projects by years. Maybe even help with his side project… But enough plans for the future. “Make yourself at home Kaijin. Our security teams can fetch your equipment from wherever it is. Kaijin remained silent throughout the remainder of the Tram ride, his eyes drifting to stare out the windows of the vessel, outlooking the remainder of Creed Cybernetics, as Creed proceeded to explain the company's history, and how the upcoming buildings represented the true heart of Creed Cybernetics. Kaijin was impressed, if not slightly turned off. Not that the facility wasn't amazing, but it was a rather big change. All his life, he had lived in an underground laboratory hidden within the depth of North City. As high tech and spacious as the lab was, it paled in comparison to this. He was used to the dim lighting, the water dripping from the ceilings. The tranquil silence. Not a bustling metropolis in the background, the high skyscraper buildings, and the traffic of scientists and businessmen and women traversing throughout the compound. Whether or not the change would be welcome or unwelcome....one had to see.
As the tram slowed to a stop, Kaijin followed Creed and Rine closely as they traversed the halls of the true Research department, the reality that the previous one was merely a showroom did not escape the scientist. However, it was to be expected. Even with all the precautions that Creed took to ensure the safety of his tech, the risk of allowing the public to view his work was too high, so it only made sense to make a proxy version of the department, strictly for touring and showcase, so that in the event that destruction ensues, which was not that crazy of a prospect given the ever pressing threat of Eco-Terrorism, that nothing was really lost.
Nodding with satisfaction as he passed by, Kaijin decided to give voice to his concerns, if not for any reason except to make conversation.
"It has been quite a long time since I have been. Well, allow me to explain that I inherited Doctor Janus's laboratory. Granted the lab was built into the side of a mountain, I am not used to towering skyscrapers in the middle of a metropolis. It will certainly be a change of pace. Perhaps, not an unwelcome one." He said as the doors to his supposed office. Apparently when it came to Creed, too much expense was not in his vocabulary. Kaijin was never one for comfort, but he wasn't exactly one to reject it either, especially since the expense was on Creed's dime, and not his. Nodding briefly, he looked to Creed before moving to sit at his desk, his finger tapping against the desk.
"I do not possess fingerprints, nor will my eyes prove overly compatible. Do not worry, however...I will take care of the security measures. Now, it's about time I got to work.."
