East City, a metropolis nestled at the heart of a wondrous bamboo forest, was a home to all sorts of colorful characters. Countless martial artists came here to find challenges, purpose or simply inner peace. Among civilians walked trained fighters and veritable masters who kept the city safe from troublemakers. The afternoon was slowly slipping by. Gentle wind blew over the landscape, pushing citizens home for the day, patting them on the back for a job well done. One might expect such a spiritual city to enjoy a serene evening. Well...
Angry commotion echoed from a busy street corner. A robust, mustachioed man was loudly arguing with a short, floating child who clutched a glass jar almost too huge to carry. Locals would no doubt recognize him as the owner from a nearby candy store, a jolly old man who loved treats as much as his customers combined. However, he had no patience for shoplifters. The child, on the other hand, stood out a bit more. Her entire body, all the way to her short, spiky hair, was bubblegum pink. Pale antennae wiggled angrily. Golden gaze gleamed within the black eyes. She wore baggy white pants and black tube top with matching arms sleeves and boots. With such an odd outfit she resembled a genie that had popped out of a story book.
Judging by the size of the curious crowd, the loud back and forth had been going for a while now. The shopkeeper took a deep breath and for the umpteenth tried to jank the jar of sweets free. "Last warning! Give it back, you little thief!" Apparently size and shouting meant nothing to the girl who effortlessly pulled back. "Nuh uh! The sign said ‘Free’ and ‘Take one’ so Zam took one!" Another angry tug, another shout. "It means one candy, not one jar." And the logic was immediately shot down with ignorance. "You’re a big, fat liar, Mister! Others took jars and boxes too! Zam saw!" By now the furious man was turning an unhealthy shade of red. "Because they paid for them!! And I’m not fat!!!" But the stubborn girl was not easily swayed. "You’re lying again, Mister!" Well, this exchange was going nowhere fast.
For a tourist or a visitor the sight may have been weird, but locals were, unfortunately, familiar with the little creature. She was known for causing trouble on a regular basis. Persistent rumors labeled her as a notorious candy thief. Meaner murmurs called her something much worse though... And not without a reason. Her antics were wildly reckless at best and outright destructive at worst. Getting in her way usually ended with injuries and property damage. Many seasoned martial artists warned their students not to challenge the pink girl... BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Days weren't without their pleasantries. Though it had been nearly a decade since she had really lived in East City, having lived at the Demon Leopard school with many other students, after being deemed well prepared in her early childhood, it was still a place that she had visited frequently to have still consider it a home of hers. Years upon years growing up, had required her to travel on foot back and forth alone, within the earlier hours of the morning, just to make the distance between the martial arts school and home here in East. The advantages upon doing so, even in current times, were clear as day to anyone who gazed at her. It was well obvious by the outfit she wore, something more akin to be seen at one of the local gyms within the city, that her physique was better than the average around here, giving view to her abdomen. There was certainly different schools of thought about such exposure, but anyone seeing the back of her top, or even the weighted bracers around her elbows, would have been able to see she was apart of the Demon Leopard school. So many others were out there, and held their own styles to pass on, but this was her own. She couldn't say exactly when it had began, but she knew her training was something that led her to becoming an early riser. There were only several shops within the city which catered to people like her, small ones that were out of the way and could easily be something one would pass by. Such situations, she knew the circumstances relied on history or some outside funding, to really survive in a bustling place like this, but it also wasn't unusual considering recent circumstances. It hadn't been that long since the city had recovered from working on repairs, which only encouraged giving attention to places that were normally missed. She had seen this through how often she had traveled here as a way of training, and not just for what supplies she personally needed to really go and live off of. It should have really felt surreal to her, being able to walk through here again, knowing how easy it would have been, to just replace this area entirely with something different. But the memories were still all here, even down to the street where she had first seen practitioners of the Demon Leopard school. Not really here to gather supplies for herself, but more to continue testing what she was capable of, she had chosen to meditate here and there, near her favorite haunts. The competition all around made it so easy for it not to matter how early she got up, to try and be one of the first to shop somewhere. Crowds easily gathered around opening hours, the presence of the sun weighing on her, as she had moved from one place to the next, when it had became obvious there were those gathering around. The feel of their energy was also pleasant, knowing not many of them were really capable of manipulating ki, without putting in the hard work to do so. But it was easy to feel out and recognize those who possibly could, especially if they noticeably had a terrifying power. Something she had found unbelievable, as someone who was practically still a local, seeing just who exactly it was all coming from. She had yet to invest in a scouter to really see how far the gap was, but it was an incredible thing to see, even knowing beings of higher power were present and about. The sight of pink flesh running around, was unmistakably the kind of presence that she had seen time and time again around here. Someone who had been described as a thief, and a being that she had only seen running around, than having actual interaction with them. The height difference between them would have made her the taller one by far, which didn't implicate this being as any less competent, contrary to what physique should have meant. But that was a natural thing about manipulating ki. Gaps can easily close with the right training, which only made her wonder what kind this one had done. There were lot of organizations around, that asserted themselves as defenders of Earth, and it was unsurprising to see someone of this power might have been apart of one. Nearly two decades of existence, and her own power was nothing comparable. She lacked so many resources, even with what small competitions she had won, to go and earn money. It would be beneficial to be introduced to the right people, but questionable if this was the right person to talk to. In any case, there wasn't much she could lose. Humility was an embarrassment, as a representative of her school, but there were so many other rumors of martial fighters having fell to the same fate. What amusement she had felt from watching the sight go on from other times, had broken as she had tied up her hair to keep from being in the way. She was always told to abandon any outcries for help, knowing that if they were strong enough, it was something they could resolve themselves. And if they weren't, then it wasn't something that would have been of loss. But she had her own interests choosing to intervene. "If payment's an issue, perhaps I could be of help?"Of all the people that were around to witness this scenario, she had been the one to step forward to offer a simple solution. Really facing this pink flesh of a humanoid, she could see the obvious difference of age, which was another easy, but explanatory reason as to why things were persisting for so long. Children lacked money, though if there was any chance this being was someone of importance, it might not have been an issue in this situation. It was the idea of seeing something that said it was free, no matter how mistaken, and running with it. But assistance wasn't something that had really came free for her. There was surely some irony there, knowing she had been the only one to step out, and likely the most competent here, feeling out the energy that was around her. The odds of agreement were in her favor. "Of course, my assistance doesn't come free of charge. Rather than zeni, I'd like the support for a favor, when the situation arises. To what extent isn't something to discuss, only the guarantee I can have your backing."Things were already at play here for what she had wanted to set out, although her attention also fell on the young girl that was causing all of the commotion in the first place for this shop here. "I'd like to also speak to you about something, in exchange for a box of free pocky."Free was the word that might have been appealing to this being, even if a stick of biscuit goods, wasn't nearly anything as sweet as candy could be. This girl would have to picky to not be tempted. Majin Zam

Finally the bickering came to a tense pause as a new face entered the scene. Both the fuming shopkeeper and the accused thief turned their heads towards the stranger. One set of eyes squinted at her suspiciously, while the other regarded her with a twinkle of curiosity. It was something of an odd offer honestly. By the end of it all, Zam could really only say one thing. "...Huh?" The puzzlement was plain on her face. Slooowly she tilted her head, as if another angle would help her understand all the difficult words better. Hmmmm... Nope, she still didn’t get it, not one bit.
However, the last two words struck a spark in the childish creature’s mind. Her eyes lit up with a gleeful glimmer. "Free pocky?! Yes please!" Suddenly the excited, little glutton yanked the jar free from the shopkeeper’s grasp. The poor man tumbled backwards and flopped onto the street. It was a violently effortless motion, like she hadn’t really been trying until now. Or she had been extra careful... Hugging the shiny loot tightly, she floated circles around the new friend. "Gimme! Gimmegimmegimme!" Because anyone who offered free treats was clearly a friend. Flawless logic there... Not that the simple child cared about such complicated concepts anyway. She only had one thing in her mind right now. Pocky.
Fortunately the salesman understood the offer at least. Dusting his clothes and adjusting his round glasses, he let out a deep and tired sigh. "I’m afraid that particular jar isn’t for sale." Trying to calm down, he searched for some semblance of the jolly smile that usually came so naturally to him. Thieves were terrible for his blood pressure. "I would be happy to sell you something different in equal amount, as long as she returns all the stolen candies." His words were underlined by a stern stare towards the unruly child. The expectant look made the Majin protectively pull her treasure aside. "No..." Most of the conversation went waaay over her head, but she definitely wasn’t going to give the sweets back. She got them first, fair and square! BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Opponent Attack 1: Zam 50 vs Opponent (Acc) = Result Attack 2: Zam 50 vs Opponent (Acc) = Result Total damage dealt =

There wasn't much leeway for this kind of situation. Her words had been directed more so at the shopkeep, than this strange being of pink flesh, and reasonably so. It was obvious this girl was nothing more than a child. One who held a certain kind of naivety from the looks of it. Nothing she had said was too complicated, only structured with an obvious confidence. But out of everything, the pocky was what had attracted interest, although the demand for it suggested not every word had been heard of. Those goods were something she had no trouble parting with, but they weren't going to be simple handouts. It seemed to serve as motivation though, for this child to end the tug of war, and fully grab the jar, knocking the shopkeep on his rear in front of everyone witnessing things here. She at least has her manners down.'Please' was often more something children had forgotten to add, so this kid wasn't really as hopeless as was being made out here, when it had came to behavior at the least. That strength was something still unmistakable to be anything but holding more power than the average, knowing all the differences. Height and age were the two obvious ones based on sight alone. But what made her really assured was how easily this child had taken flight, circling around her, and really begging for what she had offered. Considering she had yet to really bring anything out, and was on guard enough to consider the presence of the girl, it wasn't too much of an issue to eye the salesman, listening to what he proposed instead. "Is it just for display then? That means it might be fake candy. It'll taste nasty."One jar not being for sale, when he clearly had others that were, according to what the child had said, seeing as she was a witness to people taking those sweets then leaving off with them. It was the only reasonable explanation she could offer, besides some foolish sentimental value to it, in which case, this was really only troubles he brought upon himself. Display jars could be replaceable, and if it really was filled with just fake candy, then that was an easy solution to get the girl to back off. She had gone back to eying the child, who had refused to give the jar of candy up, before she had answered the shopkeep. It wasn't just this strange girl, who wasn't entirely listening to what she had said. An offer to pay for this girl, wasn't something she would back out on, no matter the circumstances. If only because being remotely somewhere on this young child's side, was just paving the way to elsewhere. She had been expecting to hear agreement to the terms from the shopkeep, but there was just so much insistence on painting this whole thing as being more of a problem than it really could be. He'd only dig himself deeper into a rut, if it really was full of candy, but he viewed the opportunity more as something to lie about. There was no real assistance for someone who was being unnecessary. "I wanted to ask something of you, before giving you any pocky. The others here can't feel it, but you know how to fight, right? You're strong, and I want to see what you can do."Rather than go and answer the man regarding what she had failed to hear, she had turned attention to the girl instead, briefly forming a fist to point at it, before moving on to point at her muscles and back towards the child. She was accustomed to the sight of children at her school, but they were meant to endure their hardships, compared to whatever situations this girl might have gotten herself into. Nothing but the proper resources, or some kind of difference in biology, would have really aided in gaining such strength, for someone younger than her. The gap between them was just so obvious and brought with it the kind of humility she wasn't quite certain she could get used to. At least until meeting someone near her own age. The beings of power on this planet, she knew weren't all just children. "If you win, you can have the pocky, but I want to ask other things too while we fight. You can start when you're ready to try."No matter how odd it had seemed to be challenging someone much shorter than she was, all those around them would really need to see, is just what this girl was capable of. What she felt was undeniable, and better left to gauging what could happen first, rather than being the one to really make the first move.

Before the shopkeeper could defend his dubious claims against the inquisitive girl, the child immediately protested. "Don’t believe him! He’s a liar, liar, pants on fire!" The poor man couldn’t get a word in edgewise. Both girls moved past his troubles, focusing on their own agendas instead. He was quickly reduced to just another bystander, one more unimportant face in the crowd. And he could only bitterly accept it. He was merely an average human among many like him. There was no place for him in the imminent test of strength.
Meanwhile, the Majin was beaming at the compliment. Proudly she puffed her ego. "Yup! I’m suuuper strong! The strongest in the world!" The mention of fighting was met with hasty nodding. "Okay!" Of course she agreed to the condition. It barely even registered in her mind. Her smile sharpened into a mischievous crescent. "Nyehee~! I’m gonna beat you and then get pocky!" She was getting all giddy at the thought. Fighting and treats... This day was getting so much better!
However, Zam finally realized a teeny tiny problem with the situation. The huge jar had her hands full. She was already being suuuuper careful not to break it. That made it kinda hard to punch anything... She was honestly a bit befuddled before a spark of genius flashed in her head. Oh, right! Legs! She had legs too! Good plan, great plan! Flashing a cheeky grin, she chimed cheerily. "Ready or not, here I come~!" Suddenly her lower body twisted with complete disregard for how bones and joints worked. Her right leg stretched and lashed out like a whip. It came out at an awkward angle, aimed at the opponent’s torso. While it lacked accuracy, it held plenty of power, enough to send an average person flying. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. It was hard to tell who was really the victim of the situation here. Completely admitting defeat at her attention being turned towards this young child, the shopkeep only remained silent and let things be at play. No matter how many times she had seen similar responses from others, it was still something noticeable, to really see what actions others took with situations. All of that persistence that man had shown, suddenly all gone, with where things were turning to. She could see the reason of doing otherwise, but if he had truly wanted to continue imposing his will, he should have done so regardless of power. To back down, really only weighed things to be out of his favor. There was always going to be stronger beings of power, but seeing amusement out of it, was one of the things she had always been taught. There were just open opportunities doing so, and a slow paving the way to a more favorable situation. The one thing she was still hoping after this whole situation. Without any real acknowledgment on how much of her assumptions were truth, she was left with only appealing to this strange being, to get a semblance of what she had wanted. The candy store itself wasn't going anywhere, so there would be other times she could stop by, assuming that things went well here. "Did you have anyone to teach you how to get this strong?"This claim of being the strongest in the world, was evidently untrue. The age of this child made that much obvious, even if what power she could sense, was something that would have normally tugged at her stomach. Someone must have gotten this girl to where she was today, and it really only took these kind of questions, to try and prod for answers. Children usually liked to talk, but she saw the possibility of multitasking, as something that might have been a problem. Which was why something like that was a good start. There was a chance this child could have lied, or told technical truths, not really knowing how her upbringing was. But it might just as likely wind up being the kind of answer she was looking for. "I see you're pretty smart too, being careful."The kind of unnatural way this being had struck out at her, reminded her of elastic gum or taffy. Something that wasn't evident before. It was a surprising thing to witness, but not so much to where she couldn't have guarded against this leg, which twisted at her like some kind of whip. The force of it was still something she had felt, though nowhere nearly with the kind of impact it likely meant to have. Even more curious was what kind of control and grip this girl might have had, if she hadn't guarded and shook off that mass of flesh. She could have easily taken the full thing, but it was this kind of curiosity which prevented her from outright bombarding this child right off the bat, like she could have. That jar of candy which there was a clear fixation on, also had a role in just trying to hammer away. But it was that caution did that power of this girl was likely lowered, which wasn't a bad thing. Just something of a mistake, if this had really been any other situation, knowing how relaxed she was. "White Leopard."There wasn't much room to really strike at this being, without that jar getting in the way. So the best she could do was apply some of the basics of what she was taught growing up. The White Leopard dealt more with kicks, as she twisted and turned her body at the girl, aiming for the only option of the legs. Alternating between both of her legs, was what would kick off a rhythm of sorts, if it was something that could succeed. But the thing even more important, was using an advantage where she had saw it. "Demon Fist."She couldn't really tell if it was that caution for the jar, that kept this child from striking back more than once at her. They had hardly exhausted any energy just yet, and this one was so full of energy. But nevertheless, it paved an opportunity for her to move on. Regardless of whether or not her first set of basics had managed to land, she moved onto the next. A series of punches that got quicker with success. One was used to gauge what the other could be capable of, while the other started to test any strong feelings for the need to use force. Together made it into the Demon Leopard that was meant to be mastered. "Be careful and hold onto that tightly."Her fists were also aimed to strike at the legs, but more to appeal, rather than taking pity. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

A surprised gasp left Zam’s lips. "Oh?" She hadn’t expected the foe to block her kick so easily. Thus the counter-attack caught her completely off-guard. Having her hands full made blocking impossible, but for some reason she didn’t seem to mind. She took the strikes without flinching. It was like hitting a living blob of playdough. The resistance was minimal. Each impact left a deep dent on the smooth body. Luckily the precious jar was spared from the swift pummeling.
However, by the end of the combination the little creature’s cheery attitude was still intact. She pondered the question for a moment, before chiming. "Ah, nope~! I have always been this strong, I think." She sucked in air and puffed her body. The dents popped back into shape as if she hadn’t taken any damage at all. Her natural regeneration was something humans couldn’t match. "Oh, but I get stronger all the time too!" The contradiction was completely lost on her... Much like the concept of needing to train in order to get stronger. Majins had other methods...
Between the chatter, the Majin whipped her legs around for two more stretching kicks. The first one swept low, aimed to knock the opponent off-balance. Immediately afterwards the second attack came from above, meant to bring the foe crashing onto the pavement. "Mister Netto and Miss Asuka tried to teach me some march-eel arts stuff, but I didn’t really get it." Her attacks supported the claim. Wild, sloppy, careless... These were not motions born from discipline and rigorous training. No, her attacks bubbled from the deep depths of instinct. She simply went for whatever felt the most natural and her body bent to her will. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Rukia Attack 1: Zam 60 vs Rukia 62 = 8 - 2 (Edge 2) - 2 (Indomitable) = 4 dmg! This was the innocence of a child. To be so confident and surprised by a situation in which they were meant to be equal. Being able to guard was only because the girl was being careful with that jar. She would barely stand a chance otherwise. The higher power and control of those limbs, guaranteed it more than anything, which only left the question of just when this being would realize, then make short work of her. What contact she had made, truly felt as if she was hitting living taffy, and the force she sent with each kick, seeming to be completely absorbed. It would have been a defeating and hopeless situation, for anyone else in her position. But she saw limits that weren't obvious. This was a child. Their bodies were nowhere near developed yet, even if their biology were completely different. There was no way this girl couldn't exhausted. She seemed to ate like everyone else, if things like candy were desired, and food had naturally restored energy. Reaching those limits would come easier, if she could just make the timing of it all right. The dent in that wall of flesh, was something she pulled away from, as much as she could, not wanting there to be a chance to get crushed. It was easy to notice any lack of cries from pain, or even any flinching. "That's good."Confidence wasn't the kind of answer she was looking for. But asking a child to answer anything, was always going to bring some sort of bias. There was truth to it of course, as there were such things as natural strength. She could see it being more likely too, with that kind of physiology at hand there. All it had took was some puffing out, for those dents to disappear, as if the part of the girl's legs hadn't been struck at all. She would have taken more caution, if they were on opposing sides. "It's a lot of studying. Could you introduce me to them?"There were a lot of things to consider with spars, but no matter what kind of tension could build up, she had been trained to inherently recognize the faults others could show in their movements. It might not have seemed like it to others, but there was a difference in sheer force, and the application of teachings. This child had seemed so ready and able to keep going on, but she was still clearly limiting herself in ways that just weren't necessary. Nothing that gave reason to relax herself. Those legs were the only thing the girl could likely really use, without letting go of that jar. It took timing and carefulness, managing to even dodge the leg sweep, and even more to fully block and push away what came from above. Even if this child couldn't see it, those were great decisions to aim for. It was just unfortunate that the timing wasn't something enough. For her, it left the chance to greater prepare herself, knowing how unlikely it would be to do any damage, just applying the basics. "Demon Leopard."During the pause in her dodging, she saw the opportunity to charge through and take advantage, condensing ki into her hands to do more than just trying to pierce through the girl's defenses. A series of aimed punches where she had already struck at the girl, was the endeavor she had taken. More power than what the basics of her school offer, and the movements of her body being a mix of the two. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Talking while fighting was one of Zam’s strong point. Well, talking while doing anything really. Sometimes she even talked while she was sleeping! Yup, Grandpa had said so. She stuck her tongue out at the mere mention of studying. "Bleh, studying is boring." She had been to school a couple of times. Sitting still and listening to someone talk about dull things was the worst! Her smile returned quickly though. "Sure I can!" No conditions or hidden intentions. Her new friend wanted to meet her other friends, so of course she would introduce them. Duh~! Mister Netto was awfully busy though... Buuut she could probably catch him somewhere.
The condensed ki did the trick. Each strike left a lot deeper impression. Against most creatures, such impacts might bruise flesh and break bones. Even the sturdy Majin let out a startled squeak. She couldn’t even try to block. The precious jar almost slipped from her grasp. When she went to clutch it tighter, few cracks spread along the glass. Fortunately it didn’t break... Yet...
Zam wiggled her legs and they quickly got their normal shape back. She had no bones to break after all. "Wow, you hit hard for an Earthling!" It was honest praise too. Most people she had met couldn’t even tickle her! So this girl was pretty strong, right? With that thought, her smile gained a mischievous edge. "But can you do this~?" She opened her jaw impossibly wide and an orb of pink ki gathered between her teeth. The energy crackled ominously, a warning of unstable power. Suddenly she fired a bright beam towards the opponent. It was going to burst on contact with anything, showering the immediate area with hot sparks. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Nothing was really set in stone. Beliefs could easily changed with time, and whatever this girl had felt now, there was a chance that things could be different later down the line. There might have been a clear difference in physiology, but the kind of being this child was, should have shared enough similarities in at least intelligence. Without any of the consideration that came with age, she could see more dependence than anything, from someone with this kind of mind. There were alternatives out there to just studying. Though it didn't seem like this girl was really able to grasp the kind of things that she learned, growing up. But even seeing these faults, in the end, it was up to this being to make her own decisions, rather than be convinced by someone else. She herself lacked the right resources, to really benefit from assisting just about anyone. Even if she did seem to get the start of what she had wanted from this girl. A couple of other martial artists, were always going to be something of interest for her. It didn't matter if their ideals could clash, as that was just the kind of spirit of being apart of a different school. The chance to represent her own in any way, would always prove to be the mark of what she was aiming for in the long run. To be someone of influence, meant being capable of swaying the tides of a side. "I'll look forward to it then."These people could have possibly been even stronger than this child was, if that confidence wasn't ignoring the presence of others. As much humility as she could have felt, to currently be less stronger than someone younger, it only served to be the kind of motivation she had been looking for the day before. Her master had said things were always changing, and her friends being somewhere within this city, she was certain will hold a role in everything. But it started here first, meeting other beings of power. Unsurprisingly in her eyes, each strike that she had made, which carried much more power than her last few, did the trick of leaving the kind of damage she had wanted to see. And it was still all just the start of what her school could offer. She had much more versatility, which she had yet to show and use. But the thing about facing this girl, even if it wasn't at this child's full power, wasn't about really winning. In a world where there was just much stronger beings, coming close was all she could ask for. At this point, basic attacks weren't going to be enough to do the kind of harm she wanted. Even now, recovering from the blows she had gotten, the girl had only returned her legs back to its form. "Can your friends reform their bodies like you, then?"What could have been called praise, only led to another question she had wanted answered, but wasn't sure if she would have gotten a chance. Not when things could have possibly gone awry. She was dealing with someone young enough to persist at something, and what appeal she had already gained, came from being cautious. That jar of candy was still something she was concerned for, and had noticed with her strikes, that the tightened grip the girl had on it, left some cracks to form here and there. It was so sudden and quick, to find this child release a beam of energy directed at her, not long after she had asked of her own question. The timing of it all was really unfortunate, enough to feel that burst of contact, which sent her flying back, and not a single chance to even try dodging the thing. Compared to what she was sure the girl was feeling, the pain that she had taken was really something noticeable. Bruises which were barely on the edge of releasing the smell of blood within the air. She could feel it all over her body, and within her movements as she had gotten back up, her mind still too clear to really ignore all of this. But she wasn't going to stop, just from one good attack. "Looks like we both got some good hits in."A light smile was offered, fully picking herself up, and still ignoring what she could have done within this moment. This power wasn't all of what she could have summoned up. She was sure actually, that she could have matched the power this child had, because of her caution for that jar of candy there. But there was no need to be that alert of someone like this. Not when it wasn't really meant to be too serious. And this pain, if anything, was going to just be a reminder while she recovered, of where she should aim towards with power. The feel of this girl's ki, it was something she'd remember. "Are you tired yet? We could stop if you want?"Though she had said that, she had moved forward again, applying the basics of the White Leopard, as she aimed to kick at the girl again. That jar was so in the way, but something she was also careful for. Through the pain of what her own movements were inflicting, which the rapid building of speed her school's style began with, what kind of hold she had managed to form, kicked off to another clash of the Demon Leopard. She felt powered, charging up the movements, to where she had wanted things to be. There was a lot of focus in it all, to ignore this kind of pain, but it was one yet to linger. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Zam giggled gleefully while her mouth beam exploded. That was a good boom! Yup yup! She had completely missed the first question, but the second one at least got an answer. "Nope~! I never get tired~!" And the distraction caused by it ended up costing her again. The kick found its mark, actually managing to spin her around in midair. In the precarious position, the follow-up was nothing short of devastating. Each impact found a critical spot, piercing through the Majin’s natural defenses, truly hitting where it hurt. Not even her absurd regeneration could keep up with the barrage. Each strike shook her entire body to its core. Acting on pure instinct, she suddenly snapped around for a surprise dropkick. The vicious counter attack carried enough power to cut the combo short.
And that’s when her grip slipped.
With the sound of shattering glass the colorful candies crashed against the pavement. Only the asphalt got to taste the rainbow. After a tense pause, the child let out an agonizing cry. "Nooo!!!" She collapsed next to the glass shards, weakly scraping her hands through the remains. But it was too late. The five second rule had already passed. She hung her head and covered her face. Weak sniffling trailed in the wind. How could this happen to someone so important to her? All the good times they had passed together flashed through her mind. She could remember it so clearly... Like it had just been this morning that she met her delicious friend... How they bravely escaped from the fortress of the mean ogre... And were challenged by a fighting lady...
Suddenly Zam’s hunched frame sparked. Her regeneration visibly intensified as the dents began rapidly vanishing. The air crackled with pink static. All that careful restraint vanished and her power level spiked to overwhelming levels. Bystanders started screaming, some in obvious pain, others from pure terror. Within moments the whole street was empty save for the two fighters. The Majin didn’t notice though. Her thoughts were entirely elsewhere. Candies... ruined... And whose fault was it...? Slowly her head craned towards the opponent. Her friendly golden gaze had been replaced by ominous red. "Hey... Wanna see something COOL?" And the cheery tone really wasn’t helping the unnerving atmosphere. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Rukia Attack 1: Zam 60 vs Rukia 95 = 9 - 2 (Edge 2) - 2 (Indomitable) = 5 dmg! There it was. The ability to laugh wasn't an unusual one in normal circumstances, and even when shown during a spar, it was meant to show some form of amusement. She had displayed so herself countless times, battling against different schools, or that of her own. But it took a certain mindset to do so, when an opponent was nearing the end of exhaustion. Her body was growing tired, knowing they've been at it for awhile now. There had been no chance to recuperate, without having to possibly take a hit, making what breaths she took a bit long, as she still tried to pace herself throughout it all. Disappointing as it was for this one's fortunate timing, to cause the girl to miss her first question, she did manage to get an answer for her second. One which was meant to be somewhat hopeful, until really hearing the answer. There might have been some truths to it, but sleep was a thing for animals as it was for humans. Those of different physiology, it wasn't like were an exception. Beings that didn't need to sleep, were likely to lack intelligence, and be incapable of communication because of it. This must have been exaggeration. Her kicks were something that landed easily, even despite what lingering pain there still was. But it was a surprise to find this child suddenly dropkick her, while alternating her legs, not only stopping her assault, but pushing her away again and back onto the ground. It would have taken a lot more for her to really bleed and suffer anything harmful, but it was still a painful thing to go up against. That action was one meant to be paired with caution, but the sound of shattering glass had made it evident, that wasn't what had happened. The following cries, even more so, and she got up to find the girl scraping through the mess. Desperate and careless, this was nothing more than the result of someone persistent. Yet the way those dents in this child's body had healed, she doubted the girl getting up was meant to be a friendly kind of action. The power that was released, went back to the way she had first met this being. Ontop of her current pain, as her body was sore in certain places, it now felt like the pit of her stomach was tightening from the weight of this power. She could have easily passed out, if not for the training she had done over the years. Though releasing any amount of her own power, would have been useless. She was still certain the girl would have been four times her power, and doing so would only use up more of her energy than was needed. To overcome a situation like this, would take nothing but luck. Though did she really have a choice? The child had spoke ominously, and every little movement was something she kept an eye on, trying to pick out any options she really had. There were very few around, but to continue on, hoping that her timing would be right enough to put the girl down enough to exhaustion. "I already told you to be careful with holding onto that. It's your own fault for kicking like that."Rather than really answer the question, she had went on to state the facts as it was. That crackling aura, ontop of this overwhelming power, might have been the very thing that would cause her to pass out, after what she had planned. Her breathing was something clear and audible, especially with how they had cleared the area, and ridding any bystanders. How much reason did this girl even have within this state? She could have easily tried something more to test it, but the weight of everything was starting to catch up to her. What pain she felt, was being taken over by pumping adrenaline, which she saw as her only salvation as she moved forward to make these movements. The timing of everything could pull her through. She had taken it easy before, when she had gone and made more basic strikes, but now as she came closer to the girl, she used up a lot of what energy she had to deal what damage she could have. That torso and arms were free now, for her to aim these strikes at with her legs, and hopefully help tire this child. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Trying to reason with the childish creature was a poor choice. Immediately her brow furrowed and accusing fists started flailing. "Nu-uh! It’s your fault for hitting so hard that my hands slipped!" Whistles of steam escaped from the holes lining her head, chest and arms, giving angry rhythm to her tantrum. She was too busy fuming to even realize another combo was coming. But... It didn’t matter much... Her pliable body suddenly felt far more rubbery and resisted the assault much better. She tanked the entire pummeling without budging an inch. Hit after hit... And once it was over, the pink flesh immediately snapped back into shape. It was like the relentless attacks had done no damage at all...
Zam’s eyes lit up with a mischievous shine. "My turn..." Pink ki surged around her entire frame. She pointed her hands towards the foe, brought them together by the wrists and splayed her fingers. The unstable bolts gathered into crackling orbs before her palms. Slowly the orbs swelled. Baseball, bowling ball, beach ball... Under the sun they resembled shimmering soap bubbles full of pure energy. "Dodge this~!" With one last wobble, the twin bubbles burst. She unleashed a massive storm of fist-sized bolts. Their lousy precision was balanced by sheer numbers. Each one burst on impact, cracking the pavement and denting the parked cars. Facing the attack head on was a crazy reflex test. ...And the penalty for losing was pain, obviously. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. So assured she was. But it wasn't the slightest bit of surprising. She knew how easy it must have been, for someone so young, to be convinced that what they believed in, was right. It didn't matter that they were in a spar, and fighting was something natural during one. She found it questionable whether or not the girl saw this as one at all. It was at least a challenge, for what she had proposed of, when they met earlier. This self-assured moment, was one of the few chances she had to control her breathing, while holding some caution at the whistling steam that escaped this girl's body. That regeneration was really something. She gave so much of her all, trying to tire the child out, only to have it be effortlessly reversed, and putting this being in better shape than she already had been before. The difference in their power was so obvious. She was sorely lacking in the ability to muster up what she could, to overcome what this girl had. But knowledge wasn't something that got rid of the problems she was facing. This whole thing clearly wasn't going to end until this child was satisfied, and the overwhelming difference in power, was slowly weighing on her enough to have her feel like passing out. She could go on for a bit longer, but be incapable of doing much of anything, that could help her end this. It was nothing but a losing situation for her. Every movement this girl took, was one that she viewed with caution. The intentions were obvious though, seeing the crackling of ki gathered together, long before they were thrown, and she was told to dodge. The fortunate thing was her own timing. With no other options but to survive, with how there was a difference in energy and power, it was easily to fall into what pumping energy that adrenaline gave her. She had used her ki to dodge both attacks that were being sent at her. Powerful ones, which if the timing had been better, would have easily struck at her. It was hard to move as it was, and even through what numbing her body gave, she could still tell how sore she was going to be when everything was all over. There could be much worse exhaustion. Proper equipment like gravity training machines, would have made all of this seem like nothing. She was still able to stand. That was what had mattered. But she wasn't within the best condition. Each attack that was sent at her, had burst on impact, forcing her to move out the way, far beyond just where she normally would have. If she had been in more fortunate circumstances, she would have wasted her breath in saying more to this girl, even knowing it wouldn't have accomplished anything. But all she could do was try and create better openings through these defenses. From conserving what energy she had, from what pause there was earlier, she had just enough to aim more of her kicks, with what little power she could muster. It could so easily be over on this child's end. Though it seemed like this was all just more than just hitting her a little. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Where the martial artist struggled, the little monster thrived. Her soul was tickled by a twisted sense of sadistic glee. ...Not that she knew what either of those words meant. All she knew was that blasting out energy was fun~! Even being kicked all over couldn’t quell the sparking excitement. Again she stood her ground, taking the hits head on without fear. Such was the Majin way of fighting. Her regeneration could easily keep up with this level of damage, undoing all that effort in a matter of moments. At least the combination wasn’t entirely wasted, however, The child’s hands slipped back and the torrent of energy ended. While the fighter was clearly outmatched, she was definitely limiting the property damage. Who knows what the upset girl could have done without a clear target for her tantrum...
Despite the fierce kicks, Zam was far more impressed that the fellow fighter had dodged her best storm. The crimson stare blinked. Once. Twice. Then the surprise quickly turned into an excited grin. "Ooh, you’re super quick! Hm, theeeen..." She cocked her head and lifted her left hand towards the sky. "How’s this~!?" Ki surged around her arm in a rising spiral. It burst towards the sky as a wild beam. She resembled a glowing fountain of raw energy. And what went up... Few heartbeats later the first glimmering shots started raining down. These orbs were tiny and mean, like a pink hailstorm beating the street. Failing to dodge them would’ve led to some painful bruises. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. Her timing couldn't be anymore average. There were no openings she could really see, to hammer down something the girl wouldn't be able to just heal from. Each second that passed, was a countdown to how likely it would be for her to pass out. Whether it was through taking one more hit, or her own exhaustion from feeling the weight of this power, she knew that she wasn't going to be able to keep up for much longer. But one of the things that she had the slightest of hope for, was that this child would eventually forget what had happened. All of the excitement that she had saw, even if it was driven to the idea of hurting her, should have been some kind of sign that things were getting there. Children had energy, and as otherworldly as what was trying to be made out here, she wasn't going to give up on the belief there wasn't some kind of limit. She was certain that things would have been much different, if not for the edge in power over her. Things had been going fine for her, before that jar had been dropped. This wasn't a situation of doubting power she had already knew the girl had, but being capable of surviving against someone, in such a weakened state. She had a large lack of experience against beings of power, and this was a good learning one. Though a lot of things could have been more fortunate. Her hits weren't getting anywhere damning for the girl, as again and again, she had watched mass of flesh go on to fix herself. It was an incredible thing to witness, and she was so assured that being on the opposing end of things, had this been any other event, was something she would have wanted to avoid. Regeneration was a difficult thing to combat at her power. But with how carefree this girl just seemed to be, she wondered if being in a group would have even helped that much. It was difficult to gauge whether or not she was giving too much credit to a being she was unfamiliar with. The sight of these pink flesh humanoids running around, wasn't really that common. What she had already seen though, had moved away from utter incompetence on a surface level. She wouldn't have been so exhausted and sore otherwise. What adrenaline had been pumping into her body, had all but died down, bringing back the kind of forced caution she had to take with her movements against this girl. Like the strikes that she had sent out with her kicks, it was another round of heavy blasts with ki. No matter what display she saw, it was something she had to push herself to actually avoid, with timing being the thing that kept her from getting hit. The first couple had been like one of the last. Slow enough for her to keep moving around and dodge the attack, feeling the weight of its power against her, as she did. But it wasn't enough to just keep being on the defensive. She was limited in options, though still tried to look for any openings she could find, which she could take advantage of. Focusing on something like this, and being so driven to move around, wasn't an easy thing. Each stop she had made brought with it lingering strain, and moving around had only marginally helped out. The next set of blasts, she had to dodge again, using the help of her ki. It had been an astounding thing to see the first couple of times, which was only natural, with how many different styles there were in the world. But now, all she saw with the impact, was another chance this girl proved how much energy she carried. There was so much of it, yet she was still managing to hold on for this long. The moment that this child had seemed to stop, she had launched forward again. It was all in the timing to have even remotely the slightest chance in dealing any damage to the girl, that wasn't just healed away. She had just about enough energy to start off with some of the basics again, before kicking off to aim with more stronger force. If this couldn't deal any damage, it was over. There wasn't going to be anymore dodging for her. The pain that would also come, she knew would wind up feeling so agonizing. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Much to Zam’s endless delight, it was like watching someone dance in the rain. So swiftly and gracefully the opponent dodged every last one of the bolts. Between the impromptu performance and light show, she had already blissfully forgotten what had made her angry. Most of the candy had been scattered and crushed by the energy blasts by now as well. She blocked the basics with her face, getting her cheek squished by the impact. A chiming giggle playfully mocked the fighter’s efforts. "Nyeh heh hee~! Won’t work~!" As soon as she said that, her squished cheek already popped into shape.
However, against the stronger strikes the Majin’s hands suddenly swept upwards. They stopped the attacks on their tracks, clamping tightly onto the girl’s limbs. Her smile broadened. "Gotcha~!" Despite having released massive amounts of energy, she showed no signs of exhaustion. In fact, her power kept steadily rising with each passing moment. And it hadn’t even peaked yet... With unnatural flexibility and inhuman strength, she tried to lift the foe before slamming her against the pavement. Regardless of success or failure, she followed up with a heavy punch aimed right in the gut. It carried enough weight to knock out even a seasoned fighter. How very fortunate that the playful child had no killing intent. BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. The feeling of flesh wrapped around her limbs. With how much of it she had experienced today, it was going to be more than a long while, before she would even bother challenging the girl again. While soft to an extent, it was still nothing more than a surreal feeling, having something like that to harm her, again and again. The force of it hurt more than one would have thought, and whatever damage she kept hoping she could cause, was nothing more than a waste of energy. A lot of it was frustrating, knowing that she was getting absolutely nowhere, and it showed in what force she could muster up and land on the child. This was survival for her, but something that seemed like entertainment to the younger girl. The spectacle they were putting on, must have looked much more playful in the eyes of someone this age, though it was all in this being's imagination to believe in such a thing. Her first couples strikes at the girl, which was meant to quicken as it built up, ended in another failure where it was supposed to conclude. The leg she had raised to kick was caught in those fleshy limbs, before she found herself lifted up and slammed against the pavement. A sharp pain had struck at her, with the lack of adrenaline running through her body, which dared to follow up with more as a fist had came. But that aimed blow to the gut, was one she was able to catch and push back, however little the effort had been. That slam to the gut had done it. The pain that filled her body, was paired strongly with heavy exhaustion, as she had reached her limit. It was difficult to move at all, the feeling all around being akin to not having ate for days, even knowing that wasn't even remotely true at all. Her eyes were the only thing that had yet to close, but it wasn't an ability that she was trying to fight off. Just something she thought necessary, knowing just how things had turned out in the end. "Okay, you win. The pocky's in a capsule."Winning was something possible, had the girl stick to around the same power as her. But she had been taking advantage of the caution that was shown, just hoping she could have gotten lucky enough to overcome any regeneration, well before things had turned awry. To be taken down in the end, with this child looking more healthier than anything else, was something she couldn't yet compete against with her power. Capsules and their convenience, were why she didn't need to burden herself with any luggage, other than the case that had carried them. It was fortunate for someone as young as this, that she was the sort to carry only what was needed, fully intending to survive day to day, rather than be struck down. Stored within the pockets of her shorts, all this child had really needed to do, was press the lone capsule inside, for the handful of boxes that were within. Nothing remotely even close to the amount of candy that had been within that jar, but it was something, and what the girl had actually won. That was the thought that she had focused on, as she had shut her eyes. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

In the wake of the ground-shaking impacts, the foe was left downed and beaten. That meant... "Yaaaay~! I win!" The last of the little Majin’s fury faded and the energy lost its malicious, overwhelming edge. Snatching the capsule, she gave it a puzzled look. Uh... She tried shaking it, poking it, gnawing it... But the strange little capsule wouldn’t hand over the treats. Maybe magic and technology didn’t mix. Or maybe the little Majin just wasn’t the smartest cookie in the box. Luckily, a rare spark of genius flashed in the empty space inside her head. Where had she seen a thing like this before...? That’s right! Mister Netto had these things too! He would definitely know how it worked!
Zam’s aura flared into a pink blaze and she shot off to the skies. Moments later she burst through the door of a certain herb shop. A gleeful shout echoed through the rooms. "I’m hooome~!" She immediately went to pester a well-built, white-haired man. "Hey, hey Mister Netto! Hey, listen!" Excitedly she showed off her loot. "How does this one work? It has pocky inside!" She soon filled his ears with a her own totally true and not at all one-sided version of what had happened today. Maybe the beaten martial artist, left behind on the ruined street, would get to share her own side as well eventually.
But that would be a story for another time... BATTLE TRACKER

Broken sleep.
No matter how heavy her eyelids had felt from her own exhaustion, however long she had passed out, would only stir her awake and away from whatever rest she had managed to go and find for herself.
Sharp pains were still there, lingering around different places of her body, with the only improvement being her breathing returning to a semblance of normal. She could feel within the air, as she pulled herself up from the ground, that people were only just starting to return to the area.
The lack of an overwhelming presence, had also gone and suggested the girl had taken off somewhere, without also any signs of the capsule in sight. The object wasn't something that could have been replaced.
It was questionable whether or not, the child would start to even consider it to be what she now owned, having 'won' it from her. What mattered more here to her, was gaining something from being beaten.
Which was why through the pain, she had started to fly off and search for the ki of this girl. The signature was too familiar, with how much of it, she was at the short end of things.
Times like these were ones she normally filled with meditation, as a way of enduring any injuries from a spar, but she hardly had any chance at all, to go and do more than follow after what she was feeling.
Flying was by far the kind of approach she rarely took, knowing with how much power she had lacked, any kind of hardships she imposed onto herself, would only pay off in the long run. But there was no choice in the matter for the situation. Wherever the younger girl had gone off to, it was a considerable distance.
But one which she could turn to something fortunate, with her current circumstances.
