Planet CaneLocation: Abandoned Outpost #56 Alert: Environmental Anomaly Level 4 What a strange occurrence....To be completely frank, Kamui had not been expecting today to be an active day. The push to take Planet Cane was a slow, and agonizing conquest. If Kamui didn't know better, he could've sworn Emperor Cam was doing this to punish him. Hell, he very well could've been. The planet was barely hospitable, at best. Half the planet overtaken by a massive, ravaging Ki Storm, created by the likes of Cooler's Armored Squadron half a millennium ago. That automatically deemed the atmosphere of the planet rather volatile, at least on the Northern hemisphere of the planet. One side locked in eternal light, plagued by a Ki Storm, and a planet plagued by eternal darkness, with a fine line along the equator, proving to be the hospitable zone. The planet was formerly a maximum security prison for the Planet Trade Organization, and was home for a plethora of Frieza Force rejects who were deemed too volatile for even an organization as horrid as the Planet Trade Organization. The hideouts and bases have been long abandoned by this point, former, broken down husks of their former selves. However, they served as good navigational points, the various structures serving to allow the Crusher Corp forces a good idea of where was safe to settle. It also allowed us outposts to settle and to position seismic scanners, alerting to environmental dangers and paranormal activity. And apparently, there was a Level 4 danger alert, prompting immediate attention. Thus, Lieutenant Kamui Solaris responded almost immediately the scene, along with a small scouting force of Crusher Corps soldiers. None of his own men, no. These were seasoned scouts used to the Cane terrain, and would serve better than his own men, who had only been present on the planet for a little while. Kamui was more than capable of handling any danger if it showed its' ugly head anyway. The Frost Demon had been on his way to hell and back over the past few weeks. And it was all due to overconfidence. His overconfidence when facing Vile. An A-Rank criminal marked with one of the biggest bounties out there. Kamui had left Commander Fritz in charge of his Crusher Corps soldiers and had taken a detour out there with his Lieutenants in tow to tackle the bounty for a little extra payoff. He knew the threat, he knew how dangerous Vile was reported to be. Yet, he was drunk off his own victory, believed himself capable of beating people much stronger than him. Believed his own speed to be his ticket to success. He believed it would only take him a few days to capture the quarry and return. Another dangerous criminal off the streets was a good thing, right? Vile had proven much too strong for any of his men to handle, and although Kamui had put up a valiant effort, it had proven too much for the young Frost Demon, and he was utterly defeated... And thus, here he was. More machine than man at this point in time. A great deal of Kamui's body had been maimed beyond the point of no return, and as a result he had been emergency evac'd back to Planet Cane for medical care. The most painful surgical procedure of his life. A Cosmic Suit had been produced, combining the latest galactic technology with Kamui's own living tissue and natural Bio Suit, resulting in what could be considered a cybernetic skin, that happened to take up the great majority of Kamui's body. Extra additions were even made to enhance Kamui's mental capacity and physical capabilities with cybernetics, which resulted in a complete change on the man's part. A faster, smarter Changeling. A cross between Android and organic being. Mecha Kamui. A horrid name for a truly horrific work of art. Kamui's power level had very nearly doubled since the last time he had been active in battle, yet along with a psychological scarring unlike the boy had ever experienced before. Yet through this, a fierce determination bloomed. A determination never to make the same follies he had once made. Thus as Kamui neared the sight of paranormal activity, his built in scouter ran across the terrain, trying to pick up above average power levels. Or frankly, any sign of life would do. The cyborg Changeling's metallic feet dug harshly into the sands as he and his soldiers looked around. "Stay on alert. At the first sign of danger, flee and allow me to eliminate our enemy." Kamui spoke, his metallic sounding voice booming through his voice modulator. Despite being a cyborg, he wasn't like most mechanical menaces in the galaxy. He still possessed a Ki Signature, as he was technically still organic and had natural spirit energy flowing through his veins. MARK I had come to this strange planet to study its life forms. Despite most in the universe viewing it as inhospitable, they were completely unaware of the lifeforms which managed to survive within the extreme conditions beyond the equators. MARK I himself even struggled when confronted with some of the planets larger predators, though for the most part he had developed a sense of "Boredom" Once he memorized their behavioral patterns and migratory habits. He then decided that perhaps he should become the predator, and so he did. For days he hunted, studied and bisected the planet's lifeforms, mostly for sport, though sometimes for study. One day on one of his hunts a massive battle broke out between him and one of the larger creatures. This creature had a habit of burrowing through the ground in times of stress. Their battle lasted only minutes but it was long enough to cause a series of seismic tremors across one of the planet's tectonic plates, causing portions of it to shift and slide. To Mark I's surprise the creature managed to survive his assault, a notable feat. So he decided to let it go. Later his scanners picked up several life forms within the area. He noticed them as they ascended a mountain range, his mountain range. One where he normally came to think and contemplate. In the darkness and shroud of rain he stood perfectly still as a small group of mortals passed right by him, without even noticing the towering figure. His armor rippling droplets of rain as he stood with his back to the side of some jagged rock. Reaching out with his hands he clasped two of the men by their throats and within seconds he snapped them. The kill was swift and it was silent, yet as soon as the men faded two of the others turned and began shouting instantly, these two must be able to sense ki, a rare talent in lifeforms. In an instant he moved his body over their heads, and to a different point. They wouldn't be able to sense him, but they didn't know that. For now he would have his fun. Over the course of the next few minutes he would take the men down, one by one, moving like a shadow around them, killing them instantly until he got down to the final prey. A cyborg it seemed with a male storm of power tucked away within himself. A familiar power as well. As the final patrolmen was slain before Kamui MARK I reveled himself in his full glory, towering over the changeling. So much it seems had changed since their last meeting. He lunge forward, forming his hand into a blade as he thrusted it towards Kamui's chest, in an attempt to pierce his armor and pin him aganist a wall, not kill, but maim, and possible harm. Kamui couldn't sense Mark I, but the suddenly plummeting power levels of his scouting team? That he could certainly sense. Various numerals suddenly popped across his vision as his built in scouter registered the falling power levels, prompting the cyborg Frost Demon to turn his head in alarm. And when he saw who was responsible for slaughtering his men, his eyes widened in surprise. The Android....The Android who he had met on Space Vegas, all those months ago. Before all this Crusher Corps business, before he even ventured out to space. During all that crap with the Crimson Lancers. With King. He still remembered the fight as if it were yesterday. Slaughtering King as if it were nothing, and then facing an Android with no detectable energy, but with a force unlike any other the Changeling had faced at the time. Of course, such a slot for "strongest foe" had been replaced by Vile, who was more then five times stronger then the Android, had Kamui been able to detect Mark I's power level. Nonetheless, this Android was here, on Planet Cane, and represented a threat Kamui had thought to be long since forgotten. He had slaughtered Kamui's scouting team, and the cyborg Frost Demon didn't take kindly to that. As Mark I charged at him, Kamui's cybernetics immediately began rapidly scanning the figure, calculating movement speed and possible attack patterns. However, Kamui had little need to utilize the various algorithms his cybernetics were trying to calculate to help prediction. He had his instincts, and they served him just as well as these math equations. His foot shifting to the side, Kamui's body lurched suddenly to the left, dodging Mark I's blade to his chest, before Kamui's hand reached out, grabbing onto the Android's arm with a vicelike grip. "You're on the wrong planet, my friend." Kamui spoke, his eyes staring daggers into Mark I's "You're in Crusher Corps territory. Leave the planet.....or this will happen."Kamui felt himself lurching forward, before shooting off his feet, the Frost Demon's body flickering before vanishing. The Changeling had always been surprisingly quick on his feet, ever since he was a child. His Rapid Movement enhanced to the point where it was more akin to teleportation at this point, due to both natural talent and his enhanced body. His body would flicker before vanishing and at a moment's notice Kamui would reappear at Mark I's left flank, bringing his right hand down upon the Android. His metallic hand was glowing bright purple with volatile electric energy as he brought it down upon Mark I, claws shooting forth from the fingertips, enhanced by Ki to enhance cutting potential, in order to rend metallic flesh from Mark I. Even if it didn't cut through, upon contact Kamui's hand would send the purple, electric aura crackling through him, the electricity leaching out to burn and sear the body. Still enveloped in a purple Ki and electric aura, the Frost Demon vanished once more, his Sonic Warp causing him to cover great distances in mere moments. In an instant, he was meters away from his opponent, the purple Ki and electricity coalescing in his palms. He extended both hands outwards. Exploding forth from his hands was a rather large and destructive Ki beam, coated in volatile electricity. Not only would the Ki beam serve to disintegrate anything in its' path, but it would also serve to send thousands of volts of electricity coursing through the victim, before the energy wave detonated and exploded. "Kamui Solaris" Bunny spoke out as she reached into MARK's database, retrieving information about him within a single second. A second that relative to them was long enough for Kamui to finish his entire attack combination, it was an excellent attack, by all estimates. MARK I made no mistake in sparing this life form however now it seemed, disgusting to him. Kamui had been "Corrupted somehow". He was no longer himself. His proud form giving way to some disgusting mix of automation and frost demon. MARK I stood disgusted by what he saw before him as his opponent flickered in and out of view. This Visage would have to be corrected. The ground gave way beneath MARK I's feet as he began to hover in mid air. Violent energy crashed against everything, demolishing the mountain side around, above, and underneath him, but none behind him. MARK I stood still, like a bulwark, an indestructible shield for the mountain against the blast. Despite being ,a bit, damaged internally One would not be able to tell form his exterior. As Kamui's violent electric wave washed over MARK I's body he slowly and simply raised a single arm. His hand clashed against the wave of force, parting the energy beams to his sides as he unleashed his own destructive wave which would send an unexpected pulse of power directly towards his opponent. In an instant MARK I would move in an attempt to match Kamui's speed. Going where he estimated his opponents body would land and raising his hands overhead in preparation to pummel Kamui into the dirt. Should his opponent fail to catch his footing or stop himself from crashing into the ground, MARK I would be poised and ready to bring his fist down into the spot where Kamui would land, beating him into the ground with the force of a small meteor. He had to admit...he hated this form. It was all unnatural to him. Everything to him felt forced. All these numbers, all this data. The movement of his legs, the metallic nature of his limbs. They were mere shadows of his former selves. Mere imitations of what Kamui had lost. It infuriated him. Even though his attacks held amazing results..the unnatural feeling of it all irritated him. This was not him. But he'd have to get used to it. Grow to like it. Kamui had not been expecting Mark I's destructive wave to cut through his Thundershock Surprise, the lack of a Ki Signature making it hard to predict what the Android was going to do. As a result, he was caught unaware when the blast drew close and found himself hastily crossing his arms over his upper body in a hasty block as the blast slammed against his body. Kamui was sent flying back from the force, but not nearly as far as he would've flown had he not created a hasty guard. His prosthetic limbs shook from the impact, smoke erupting from the point of contact. "Unnatural Movement detected overhead. Compensating for lack of Ki Signature" A computerized voice spoke inside Kamui's head. Thank you.As much as Mark I attempted to go on the offensive, in an attempt to match Kamui's evasive speed, Kamui fell back on the defensive, his body flickering out of view as the cyborg Changeling once more utilized Sonic Warp to rapidly move out of the way. As he dodged the attack, the true nature of Kamui's previous attacks came to fruition. Burrowed within Mark I's body were thousands of microscopic Ki Parasites, breeding and multiplying in the body, gradually growing stronger by feeding off Mark I's internal systems. It didn't matter that the man wasn't organic. Everything was food to energy constructed beings with nothing on their minds but a desire to satiate a never-ending appetite. Purple electricity could be seen dancing across Mark I's body, along with a feeling of his joints locking up, making it harder for him to move and utilize his own energy. All the while, Kamui reappeared to Mark I's right after Mark I's offensive, with his back turned to the Android. However, the Cyborg Changeling's metallic (and sharp) tail lashed out with great force, moving to whip Mark I across the face, enough force behind the blow to send the Android reeling. MARK I was impressed with Kamui. Not since V3's own video and audio files had he seen such a rapid rate of improvement in another being. It wasn't even just the cybernetics. Those were just tools, tools that within the hands of a novice would have meant or done much less, despite the tech itself being marginally impressive. No. It was the frost demon's own skill and prowess as a warrior that was making it all work. It was more of a shame than anything else, MARK thought. A disgusting, unnatural abomination. Kamui was once an impressive specimen and he would have been impressive furthermore but now this sick, disgusting mix of machine and organics insulted MARK I to look at. One should not be allowed to live like this. This was not acceptable. He would not stand it. MARK's Faceplate whipped back and upward as his opponents tail crashed into him, the blow itself did minimal damage and as his head whipped back he raised an arm, blasting Kamui across his backside. It was more of a grazing blow than anything, nothing to serious, but enough to leave a small mark. Hovering in midair MARK I slowly lowered his head until his eyes met with KAmui's. A pulse of power emitted from his body as his skin began to mold and shift. Sparks of electricity rushed from beneath him as his body worked to exterminate the parasites within seconds. Already he had adapted and recovered. Though incapable of grinning, MARK I's eye and the seams where his brow would be placed furrowed with a look of smug satisfaction and a malevolent, eager anticipation. "Congratulations" Bunny's voice seemed to speak as if from some other dimensions. "You have impressed the Master. He has a message for you know, please listen closely" With that MARK I clasped his hands together and reached within himself, activating his power core deep within him. The Quantum Drives energy began to surround him in waves of strange ethereal light as space and time seemed to warp around him. "power at. Twenty one...percent" bunny spoke out before MARK I activated the Quantum drive. He manipulated it's energy so as to warp the space between the two warriors. His long arms would reach out towards KAmui. One arm would shape itself into that of a long spear like weapon while the other would attempt to grasp Kamui by his shoulder, holding him in place for the spear arm to impale him. One MARK one finished thrusting his arm into the direction of his opponent, whether he succeeded or failed his body would immediately flicker out of existence as the gravity in their immediate area began to swell and wrap, causing the space to feel as if an immense pressure was onto and all around them. From behind Kamui MARK I would appear again, his hand full extended and opened in a wide palm, unleashing a torrent of power straight at his opponent. Considering the circumstances of the battle at hand, Kamui couldn't care less about what the "Master" approved of. If one were talking about what Kamui approved of, it certainly wouldn't be the slaughter of his scouting team in the middle of Planet Cane's wasteland. But granted, people only saw what they wanted to see. Thus, Kamui would allow Mark I to play his little games of success, before he destroyed the man. "Twenty One percent, hmm? Now you see, that just won't do, will it?" Kamui commented as Mark I went on the offensive. As the Android drew close, the Cyborg Changeling made no move to dodge, or even move at all in an attempt to defend. If based off this one moment, all the evidence pointed to Mark I skewering the Frost Demon. However, at the last moment Kamui raised a single finger in the air, summoning a sphere of psychic energy to envelop him, the psychic energy acting as a barrier against the devastating force of the blow. Upon contact, the barrier would bend and fold, as if one were punching against stretchy rubber. However ultimately, the barrier would bounce back into place, the psychic barrier absorbing all the kinetic force and energy from such a blow. The same would ring true for Mark I's impressive warping of space, coupled with an energy blast that rocked the ground itself. However, such efforts would prove to yield too few results, as Kamui stood safe inside his protective bubble, sparks of energy fizzling off the psychic barrier as the last vestiges of Mark I's attack was sucked into the energy sphere. "Impressive, but all for naught." Kamui said as the psychic barrier was sucked inward, the energy dissipating as it was sucked into Kamui's frame. In tandem with such a form of energy absorption, Kamui's eyes widened as he was suddenly enveloped in a massive teal colored aura, his power level suddenly exploding on one's radar if they were checking. Kamui's power level very near tripled in the face of such a threat. "Let us see...just how well I can turn up the heat. You wronged the Confederacy. Allow me to show you what that means." The Frost Demon said before vanishing, his Sonic Warp allowing him a large and sudden burst to speed. Reappearing in front of his foe, Kamui outstretched his hands directly outwards towards his foe. Green energy began to explode forth from his hands, increasing the pressure force exerted upon Mark I, before it escalated in a grand blast of green from near point blank range, threatening to envelop and overwhelm the Android. MARK I was waiting eagerly what it meant to wrong the confederacy as he stood like a bulwark against the impressive green tide of energy that enveloped him. He didn't even budge as the wave of energy overwhelmed and enveloped his entire body, tearing away at everything behind and around him. The mountains themselves began to shake from the force of Kamui's explosive wave, it seemed almost as if the planet itself was damaged by this assault, a crater outstretched behind MARK I, as far as even his enhanced vision could see. Causally, he moved his head around, surveying the damage their battle had wrought on the environment. "Impressive" Bunny's voice uttered as a flurry of quick blows landed to Kamui's face before MARK I's hand burst through the wave of energy, reaching to grasp Kamui by his metal collar. MARK I's own energy did the rest as his ethereal Aura broke through the veil of energy that surrounded him. Where KAmui's green tide once was, MARK I's oppressive aura now seemed to weigh everything down around them. The air around them seemed to grow thicker and hotter around the android. "Master was right to give you an invitation Kamui Solaris" Bunny's voice said. As MARK I grasped KAmui's collar he attempted to land a series of pummeling punches into Kamui's abdomen ending the assault with a fierce uppercut that, if landed, would hurl his opponent into the skies, into a thundering storm overhead that seemed to pour endlessly. Utilizing his enhanced speed MARK I would rush to Kamui's position, whether his opponent managed to move out of the way or get hurled into the skies he would speed up in position to tackle his opponent before suddenly stopping and ignited the air between them with his eyes. The resulting explosion would be enough blow apart a building. Though not enough to damage MARK I as he angled its force in order to mitigate any backlash towards himself. MARK I's body seemed to protest the fight itself. Something Kamui had done visibly messed with MARK's Appearance, despite the android not voicing or showing any signs of distress, his skin seemed to react, as if it was constantly shifting and changing in a way it wasn't used to. It was clear that something Kamui had done effected MARK in a way he had never experienced before. MARK I's face told a different story. One of grim determination. His eyes fierce and lit aflame with a malevolent urge. They had a piercing sense to them. As if every Kamui did was being carefully watched and analyzed. This one was indeed a tough one. But it was a different type of tough, Kamui had to admit. The Frost Demon's cybernetic enhancements, paired with a dramatic increase in power, as well as a change in fighting style, produced wondrous results in the Changeling fighter. The last time he had fought this Android, the battle had proven much different. He could barely keep up with his opponent's assaults, Mark I capable of breaking through his defense and battering his form several times, proving faster and stronger then he was. But now....now the tables were turned. Now, he could say the two of them could perhaps be near equal in power. Hell, maybe Kamui even surpassed the Android? Only time could tell. Kamui's combat prowess had reached a brand new high. Before, utilizing his maximum power came with drastic physical repercussions, the likes of which drained his body of energy just as quickly as he was gaining it. But now? Kamui's recent training, paired with his technological functions that assisted the Frost Demon in efficiently controlling his flow of Ki, allowed Kamui a more consistent release of energy. As Mark I emerged from the massive energy discharge, Kamui felt himself moving back in tandem. The long arms, despite the Changeling's attempts to flee from the Android was all for naught. However, as Mark I moved to grab him, the Frost Demon grunted before releasing yet another psychic barrier. If Mark I did not retract his hand quick enough, he would find his energy once again freely flowing into the cyborg's body before the psychic barrier rejected his hand completely. The next couple of moments were rather interesting as Mark I pounded the Psychic Barrier with the intent of punching straight through the barrier. However, the psychic shield continued to bounce back after each blow. As the man continued to batter away at him, Kamui took note of the changing nature of Mark I's body. Without the use of Kamui's detection system, he only had his standard five senses to rely on. And through the sense of sight, he was able to focus Mark I's degrading body. Despite the Android's stoic nature and relentless efforts, he was feeling the effects of this battle. Which meant Kamui just needed to push a little more. The final blow finally broke through psychic barrier, the energy dissipating before being sucked into Kamui's body, the kinetic energy being converted into usable energy to make Kamui even stronger then he was before. "I'm flattered, really. Glad to impress you." The Frost Demon said as he skidded across the ground, the sand shifting underneath his feet. However, the Frost Demon wouldn't allow his opponent even a moment to recover. His hands lighting ablaze with orange energy, he would thrust both hands forward and would fire several balls of fiery energy spheres rapid fire at the Android. "Dance for me, Android."

MARK I's eyes came alive as the barrage of energy came at him. His eyes ignited in shades of CRIMSON RED... As the bolts of energy careened towards him he managed to bob and weave his way towards his opponent. Taking up a boxer's stance he punched bolts out of his way and some even straight back towards Kamui missing him by hairs. Bolt after bolt MARK I stood his ground and punched, hooked, and uppercut the balls of energy away from him. He gave no ground as he did, not one inch as he rebuked the changeling's assaults. What Kamui did not know was that as MARK swatted away his attacks he would go as far as to tag them with his mind. The bolts now surrounded the two warriors off at the edge of Kamui's vision. Upon the logical conclusion to Kam's assault MARK would simply stand tall, completely unscathed by the assault. His shoulder raised and the lowered in a jerking motion, as if to simulate someone's laughter. His Bro seemed to indicate a humorous tone. MARK I raised a single arm and snapped his fingers "Translation" bunny spoke out. "Your turn" As Bunny spoke all those stray bolt of energy made a straight line at Kamui, the beams surrounded him from every direction. The came at him in perfect synchronization, in such a way that only a machine could command, they enlarged and sped up as they got closer to their target. Kamui had to admit, he was surprised, and finally felt himself being pushed to the edge. Never would he had expected his own attack to be used against him. Never would he have expected to be pushed this far. In a moment, the tables turned. The usually confident Frost Demon's eyes widened as his detection system went crazy with danger alerts, Kamui's eyes darting back and forth as he registered the truth of the matter. There was nothing he could do to truly defend as the bolts came forward. Throwing up a hasty Psychic Barrier, Kamui couldn't have been too surprised to find his concentration compromised by the surprise of the ordeal, resulting the psychic barrier bursting as energy sphere after energy sphere collided with his body, wracking his body. A large grunt came from the man as he was launched backwards, a large plume of smoke enveloping his body. Skidding across the heated sands, Kamui couldn't help but see the detection warnings across his vision, alerting him to Mark I's approach, his senses finally switching from a Ki detection system to a heat detection system, being able to read Mark I's heat signature. As the man approached, Kamui once summoned the damn Psychic Barrier that had been his greatest ally thus far, the technique serving as a crutch for the Changeling who had been unable to dodge thus due to the pressure of the attacks that had been laid before him. Blow after blow bounced off of the Psychic Barrier's frame, absorbing the kinetic energy. Unlike the previous attack, Kamui had managed to concentrate well enough to create a halfway decent barrier that was actually capable of taking blows. Finally, Kamui allowed the Psychic Barrier to drop, before the Changeling vanished, his Sonic Warp once more taking him away from the man. Appearing once more a few meters away, Kamui sighed as the energy from the Psychic Barrier seeped into his body, serving as sustenance for him thus far, moving to knit at least some of his wounds closed and to fill him once more with energy. His right hand raising to press a button on the side of his head, Kamui spoke quickly. "Sergeant Zephyrus...this is Kamui Solaris. Sending my coordinates immediately. Need an elite team here immediately..." The Frost Demon ordered, deeming this threat much too dangerous for simply him to handle. If he could take this man down, lovely. MARK I stood over Kamui, a titan, towering over the formidable frost Demon. His skin crawled furiously as his metallic luster seemed to turn a dull grey. He began to lose his texture and some of his aura, which began to fade, lowering the temperature around him immediately. MARK I's brow furrowed, at first with an hint of surprise and interest that Kamui was still somehow standing. Then with an immediate rage once he realized what was going on. His synthetic muscles began to shrink in their size and mass as tendrils of steam billowed from his body. Pure rage shown in his eyes as he pulled his fist back before moving to pummel his opponent. He fired a series of rapid blows into Kamui's general area as fast as his limbs could allow him. He would pressure his opponent to the ends of the earth as he attempted to end the fight as quickly as possible. Whatever Kamui had done, had forced MARK's body to partially shut down. His system now running on emergency power, a state he's never been forced to before, especially not so suddenly. Within his body he commanded bunny to hurry and fix his reactor cores, which had been disabled earlier in the fight, he needed them now. The changeling had used some kind of strange psychic energy to bypass MARK's defenses. It was an energy h hadn't encounter before, an energy his body seemed unable to counter despite his own advance intelligence and counter measures. Calculating swiftly he began to formulate a new plan. Until then he would attempt to viciously assault his opponent, hoping to pummel him into the ground before matters got worse. It seemed that Mark I was feeling the pressure as much as Kamui was. Before the Changeling's very eyes, he saw Mark I begin to shrink in size and muscle mass. He couldn't detect the being's power, but he could only guess that the Android was tiring itself out. Which meant that Kamui still held a chance to win this battle. He just had to keep this fight up. He couldn't let Mark I power back up. If he did, this battle was near finished. Kamui was surprised by the limitations of his own power. Vile had served as the gateway to usher him into a new era of fighters. Fighters will combat ability beyond what he had ever dreamed possible. Kamui had once thought himself nigh unbeatable. Someone capable of toppling even the strongest of foes. But Vile had shown him otherwise. Kamui's current appearance was thanks to that Heran Mercenary. And now here was Mark I, an artificial being of great power that had proven to drive even Kamui's enhanced body to the limit. But Kamui was different this time. During his fight with Vile, he had fought too rashly, depended upon dramatic displays of power in the hopes that one day an attack would make contact. This time, the Changeling was depending upon strategy, drawing the fight on in an attempt to make his enemy weaker. All the while he was conserving his own energy. However, Mark I had firepower behind his ability, able to bypass Kamui's impressive defensive ability. Right now, it was a battle as to who would reach their limit first: Kamui or Mark I. As Mark I charged at the Frost Demon, Kamui's suspicions about the Android's decreasing power was confirmed. The Android moved at a speed much slower than prior, and his attacks had much less of a kick to it as they did prior. So much so that Kamui had no need to summon another psychic barrier, and instead engaged his opponent in fierce trading of blows, both combatants auras flaring as they attempted to attack each other. Eventually, however, Kamui decided to take a page from Mark I's books. While the Changeling had been relying on mostly energy based attacks that allowed him to keep distance, Mark I preferred intense melee barrages that overwhelmed the enemy with pure force behind such attacks. Now that his foe was pressured so, Kamui had decided the time was now to attack Mark I, once more. Stepping up his assault a bit more, Kamui took a step forward and began launching a vicious offensive, pounding upon Mark I's body with savage punches before he leapt slightly off the ground, turning and slapping Mark I with his metallic tail, the blow holding enough impact force to send the Android reeling. Kamui's boldness at caught MARK I by surprise. Along with his speed and power, in their current states, there was little MARK I could do but stand his ground and attempt to fight back. Kamui's speed proved to much for the monstrous titan as, for the first time ever, he found himself on his heels. Struggling to keep his footing MARK I began to gave ground, a position he'd never been in before. Despite considering himself an expert in hand to hand combat there was little he could do as blow after blow of Kamui's assaults landed. Blow after blow forcing MARK I to give ground as he launched his counter attacks, causing hims to stumble and stagger a couple of times until regaining his bearing. Raising his hand into the sky MARK I summoned a bolt of pure Ki and energy from a nearby Ki storm into himself. The technique was dangerous and it opened him up to attacks which his opponent capitalized on but it was worth it. The energy now helped MARK I's systems finally come back online. His muscles began to swell and reform into their original size. His aura shot out from underneath him like a massive shark breaking the surface tension of water. MARK I then wasted no time, he launched himself at his opponent with a renewed series of punches and kicks, aiming for Kamui's joints and weak spots in between the metal and skin. It had the potential to wipe out thousands, maybe even millions of Kabochan soldiers, if it had the desire. This thing already killed his scouting team, a team of weaker combatants, without any hesitation,and was trying to kill him now. As Mark I renewed his efforts, Kamui felt himself automatically responding, the wild barrage of blows, while proving to be advantageous in its' unexpected nature, was ultimately too unexpected even for Mark I to keep track of, the blows proving either too slow to even catch Kamui, or executed in a manner that made it easy to parry. Just....just a little more. One. Final. Push.A single punch broke through Kamui's defense, aimed squarely for his face. Yet, the Changeling's tail intercepted the blow by wrapping around Mark I's wrist, restraining the limb from moving any further, saving Kamui from what could have been a devastating blow. Ever grateful for the extra appendage, Kamui moved forward, Ki coalescing in his right hands, claws shooting out from his fingertips. Sharpening those claws with the concentrated Ki, Kamui thrust the hand forward, moving to impale Mark I through the right shoulder. "Die. Lethal Infestation!" Kamui announced. If Kamui was successful in impaling the Android, suddenly Ki could be felt rushing into the Android's body. For a moment, the Android would even feel stronger, as if Kamui was willingly giving him energy. However, a moment later, the energy would corrupt itself, in which Mark I would begin to exhibit a feeling, as if ice water was running through his veins. His veins would begin to show, the coloring of them showing deep purple. The Ki would move to course through his body, draining him of his strength and keeping his body from functioning, perhaps even corrupting some of his body functions with the malicious energy. Removing his hand from Mark I, Kamui let out a loud yell, his metallic sounding voice shooting into the air, filling the very heavens with sound. His teal colored aura would explode around him, marking an expression of power in the Changeling like never seen before. Wasting no time, Kamui would place his fingers outwards, marking a spot on Mark I's skin, before making a light punch. At the moment of contact, Kamui would send his exerted energy outwards into pure impact force, the likes of which would act as a Kiai meant to send Mark I reeling. Afterwards, the Changeling would vault forward, assaulting the man with a flurry of precise, devastating blows before eventually moving to blast the Android away from him with a simple Ki blast. MARK I's body flung across the skies. He went limp as his arms slumped over. The color of his eyes went dim as his body traced a long arching trail across the sky until he came crashing down into a mountain side. He skidded across the side of a rocky cliff for hundreds of meters before finally creating a small crater on the ground from the impact. Within MARK I's body energy swelled and reeked havoc on his system until... Rocks came crashing down onto his limp body, covering him nearly completely with debris and boulders. As he laid dormant among the debris his mind worked furiously to adapt to the situation. Gathering all of the emergency ki his mind could muster it sent a wild shock throughout his body. The cells and nanobots immediately came alive and under his command they managed to nullify and even convert the ki Kamui had given him into a power source. With this power source MARK I's systems came alive, suddenly, and explosively. He emerged from the wreckage with his aura fully ignited and his eyes back to their original, fierce glare. Damn it.Kamui cursed aloud as his opponent seemed to have recovered their senses. Mark I, who a moment ago was crippled and down, was now standing before him. He was displaying the stress of battle, but at the same time it wasn't enough for the Cyborg Changeling. Kamui wouldn't be satisfied until Mark I was completely dispatched. And now that he was back and standing tall, ready to get back into the fight. Hell, he even looked better than Kamui right now. It was a bad situation, he had to admit. In fact, he briefly wondered when reinforcements would arrive, for now it shifted from how long could Mark I's energy hold out against Kamui's infectious Ki, but now it had shifted into how long could Kamui survive against Mark I's renewed attacks. It was time to find out. It was a fight of endurance, a test of will. Their combat capabilities were practically equal, in different ways. Where Kamui excelled in speed and resourcefulness, Mark I excelled in pure resilience and attacking power. They both countered each other beautifully, and it was hard to determine who would win. "Surrender and Flee. You cannot win on Planet Cane..." Kamui said as his aura exploded all around him, the teal blue light enveloping him, weaving itself into his very cybernetic flesh, strengthening his defensive capabilities against his foe. He wasn't holding anything back. He had to go all out against this foe. Placing his hands together, he began charging crimson Ki between his hands, a dark red, compact energy ball appearing between his palms. The energy ball grew to the size of a tennis ball, before Kamui crushed the ball between his palms. Almost as if the crimson ball of Ki acted as a remote, Mark I would begin to feel an intense pain, as if the corrupt Ki in his body was eating away at him, trying to shut down his body functions. MARK I knew exactly what Kamui was trying to do. Before the Frost Demons infection could take hold he had already commanded his cells to begin the adaptations necessary so as to mitigate any internal damage he might receive. For a moment it seemed not to work as his insides began to burn. He could feel V3 begin to stir from within him. He could feel the man start to move around inside of him, almost as if something Kamui had done was begging to awaken him. Unacceptable. Lowering himself into a deep crouch MARK I launched himself straight at Kamui despite the pain and fatigue beginning to set it MARK I no longer displayed any outward manifestation of such weakness. He appeared directly in front of Kamui, the frost demon having to look up at him, his red eyes seeming to pierce through the frost demon's skin. MARK I rose one hand into the air, as if about to swat downward onto Kamui's head, like a bug. A simple distraction. He converted his other arm into a long blade and ignited it with power as he pushed to thrust it through the Frost demon's abdomen. Next he would open up his face plate, one Layer at a time to reveal the sleeping face of a man, human it seemed. V3's eyes would then suddenly open as a massive torrent of radiant energy would unleash itself with such a force that it would catapult Kamui across the battlefield, possibly even into space. MARK I walked calmly and casually over to his opponent regardless of whether or not he'd done any damage. He moved as if the fight was a forgone conclusion. As if he'd already seen then end and he followed this with a final strike. It was beginning to have an effect after all. Kamui could see it. The man's eyes, the chaos in his expression. The hurried nature of his attacks. When the battle started, Mark I was as calm as he could be, expressing satisfaction with Kamui's performance, as if he were a master of greater strength, evaluating a student who was showing improvement, but ultimately stood no chance against said master. Here, Mark I had about as much of a chance to lose as he did. And was now trying his hardest to take Kamui down, before he himself went down. Kamui had to admit that he was a similar position himself, his own cybernetics doing its' hardest to correct the multiple anomalies across his systems, in the form of bodily injuries, and trying to rewrite combat algorithms to help combat against further injury. And it turned out that one such algorithm proved to save Kamui. For a moment, just to test the capabilities of his computerized brain and cybernetic enhancements, Kamui allowed the programs to take over, to fight for him for a moment. It was a risky move, and one that could certainly get him killed if the system failed to calculate even one thing. But, given the current stress, Kamui was bound to make a mistake if not given a chance to catch his breath. As Mark I appeared, Kamui disappeared, almost as if he were anticipating such an attack. The Changeling's Sonic Warp allowing him to zoom away from the Android in order to once again create distance. When Mark I unleashed his energy blast in the form of revealing V3, Kamui found his body moving for him, unleashing a Psychic Barrier, for the system knew Kamui's maximum speed could not outrun an energy discharge with that wide a range. The Psychic Barrier held surprisingly well against the blast, as the environment around Kamui (which was 99% sand) was blown away, revealing a smoking crater that stretched on for miles in its' wake. It wasn't until the final blow was made that Kamui released his Psychic Barrier. Yet, instead of absorbing the energy, Kamui channeled the psychic energy, that held the absorbed kinetic energy of Mark I's blows, into his fist. Cocking his right fist back, Kamui unleashed it in a savage blow to Mark I's stomach, discharging the psychic energy outwards in a massive Kiai capable of blowing Mark I's stomach apart if he was not careful.
