BARBARIANS AT THE GATES
The conflict between the Saiyan Dominion and the First Galactic Empire has reached a boiling point. Both sides wish to see themselves at the largest and most influential galactic state. Led by Emperor Polaris, the Empire over the past year (in RP timeline) has launched many campaigns against the Saiyans. It's largely been a success. The Saiyans have been pushed out of Kabocha and lost some of their forward outposts. Some of their senior commanders have been killed in the line of duty and their ranks thinned. And, they've steeled themselves to strike back
The Queen has returned from her training, resolved to put an end to the Imperial threat in one swift motion. To secure the Dominion's future, she intends to take Abbayor--the symbolic capital of the galaxy and former Throne World for the Galactic King, before his untimely death. She has secured the help of a mysterious hacker known as the Cryptomancer to help her in bypassing the elaborate defense system that protects the planet.
This will be a trilogy, each part having perhaps two or three individual and concurrent events running at the same time. By singing up for this, you are committing yourself to the story line and possibly participating in back-to-back events.
PART I - THE MITRA GAMBIT
This event will be Imperial oriented, focusing on defending Mitra against an invasion from the Oozaru Special Forces--the Dominion's strongest shock troopers. The Great Apes will descend upon Polaris's citadel planet with all of the fury they can muster.
PART I - ONWARD TO GLORY
This event will be Dominion oriented, focusing on the Saiyan expeditionary forces passing through the Abbayor defense grid unnoticed and bringing it down while planet side. They will be up against nearly overwhelming enemy land forces and space-navy support.
These events will begin on Wednesday 10/10.
Both Part I events are non-deadly. But, future events in the series may be deadly. Join at your own discretion. Priority will be given to members of each faction, however mercenaries are allowed on either side.
IMPORTANT! We've had a rash of people joining events and NOT posting within 24 hours. Please, only dedicate yourself to this events if you can meet the 24 hour post deadline. If not, you will be skipped and possibly replaced. There's no way around it, sorry.
