This place is so much fun!
Majin Khoshai giggled loudly as he ran full speed through the dirt path leading up from the forests. Kho had had a delightful day! Having decided to spend the past couple weeks in East City, Kho had made it his prerogative to find every single candy shop he could possibly find! And boy did he find the motherload! Breakfast, lunch and dinner for a whole week and a half! Cookies, cakes, candies...chocolates, the whole shabang! It was by the miracle of the Gods that Kho wasn't overweight like his great ancestor. But goddamn, give the kid a few more years and he might just! Yet, today Majin Khoshai had found himself something to do, to burn all those calories away!
After hours and hours of searching in the mountains, he had finally found himself a playground fit for a King! All the other playgrounds all looked the same, and there were too many kids there, and all of them were hogging the play structures! How rude of them! With a purpose, Kho had struck out on his own, in the noble and heroic pursuit of a.....wait for it.......wait.... a secret playground!
Taa daaaaaa!
Packing up his military rations (which was just a bag full of candy stuffed down his pants pocket), and his sleeping bag (which he really never had in the first place, but imagination was amazing like that!), and the young adventurer had set off!
And it seemed he had finally hit the motherload!
Khoshai slowed down considerably as he reached the end of a path long forgotten, so heavily overgrown, so hidden, that it was a miracle Kho spotted it in the first place, and followed it. But, it seemed that the young child had come across what seemed to be the ruins of an ancient city, or perhaps a monastery. It was too hard to tell, for what could have been once grand structures were now broken pieces of buildings, destroyed by forces unknown long ago. Who knew what secrets they held. Normally, one's common sense would kick in and one would be able to tell that this was not a playground.
Majin Khoshai had no such sense."Ooh....Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhh! Lots of cool stuff for Kho to play with! Kho happy! Kho happy! Kho go and play!"
Spreading his arms out, as if mimicking an airplane's wings, Kho made "airplane engine" noises with his mouth as he ran into the ancient city. For the next few minutes, he had dedicated himself to having as much fun as possible, jumping around the city, jumping off fragile temple structures, not caring whether the structures toppled over moments later due to the weight (which eight times out of ten they did).
His laughs of extreme pleasure filled the air as he frolicked about within the ruins, not caring what ancient, and particularly powerful, artifacts that he may or may not have destroyed....or may destroy.

East City, was rather famous for its spiritual traditions. All kinds of people wandered here to discover mystical things, like inner peace or answers to life’s greatest questions. Standing in the heart of a lush bamboo forest, where the wind whispered in the leaves, one could really feel closer to the Other World. Whether that meant heaven or hell was purely a matter of opinion. Some souls certainly preferred the latter. Pompous martial artists and their vain temples were simply one side of the coin. Beneath the beautiful surface, this region also attracted far more dangerous folk, like occultists, demons... And witches.
Up above forest a dark figure drifted gently across the air. Sitting on a broom, a slender, pale woman gazed down at the greenery. Mauve hair flowed in the breeze and crimson eyes gleamed beneath the brim of a wide hat. She was dressed in long robes and carried a thick tome under her arm. All the signs pointed to her being a witch, but perhaps she looked a bit too young and frail to be called wicked. Looked being the operative word here.
Lilith rather enjoyed these quiet expeditions. No foolish mortals, or gods, to interrupt her research. Even better, this particular area oozed with arcane power. She could feel a notable concentration of it at the ruins below, the sort of ancient, magical energy that defied description. ...And was also somehow moving? Her concentration was violently shattered by sudden shouting. The racket nearly had her fall off her broom. Her twitchy, narrow glare homed in on the source. Some sort of unruly child was treating the priceless ruins like his personal playground. Pink skin, odd clothing and childish glee... Now why did that description sound so eerily familiar? Oh well, a question for later. Right now it was far more important to stop that thing before it caused even more damage.
The witch lifted her free hand and a blue glow lit up in her eyes. One of the crumbling pillars suddenly moved, slipping from beneath the frolicking child’s feet. It twirled around and aimed to slam him backwards, preferably into the nearest wall. Well, hit or miss, once Lilith figured she had the creature’s attention, her cold voice echoed across the ruins. "What exactly do you think you’re doing?" She kept her distance though, staying seated on her broom, floating just above the ruined scene. ...Mostly because she enjoyed looking down on the child. Majin Khoshai was having the time of his life!
He would certainly come back here everyday. The attractions, the sights....they were so much fun! It was official, this will be his new playground! Hell, he would never leave!
He was so busy breaking things and running around, that he didn't even sense Lilith's approach. Even as she hovered in the sky above him, he didn't even notice
Then, it happened.
Majin Khoshai just landed on a pile of ruins,when he suddenly lost his balance and fell forward, yelling out in alarm. As he fell off the ledge, he was suddenly smacked in the face....hard with the same piece of stone that had uprooted itself from under him. The stone hit him directly in the cheek, and the force of impact was transferred onto the young Majin, the boy's face disforming upon contact. He smacked onto the ground with a thud, and laid there motionless. If one didn't know better, they'd think the witch had killed the kid with a well aimed shot to the head with a stone. Yet, a moment later, Majin Khoshai bounced back onto his feet, his face bouncing back into regular shape. He looked around frantically, before noticing a power level above him, and his eyes looked up at Lilith.
The kid looked ready to cry."That hurt! Owwwwwwwie!!!! That hurt! Why would you do that? Why would you hurt Majin Kho! Majin Kho's cheek hurts! That makes.....MAJIN KHO ANGRYYYYYYYYYYY!"As if on cue, steam began to shoot with ferocious power from the pores all over his body, accompanied with a loud sound, that sounded almost like an old fashioned train whistle....at nearly the same overwhelming volume as well. Then, Kho's aura accompanied it. A violent pink aura, exuding from his body in waves.
Majin Khoshai was angry, and his power accompanied it. This woman dared to hurt Majin Kho, and Kho didn't like his fun being ruined by big fat meanies. "Meanies are mean! Kho no like big meanies! SO MEANIES DIE!" Apparently Khoshai had inherited Majin Buu's temper.
Shooting off his feet with surprising speed, Kho shot at Lilith full speed, his body phasing in and out of view via Rapid Movement.
Phasing back into view in front of Lilith, Kho thrust his hands out together out to Lilith, while at the same opening his mouth unnaturally wide, almost unhinging his jaw. Simultaneously, pink Ki began to coalesce in both his palms and in his mouth, a near blinding pink light exploding forth from his mouth. The light engulfed the nearby area, accompanied by the release of both attacks, releasing two massive beams of Ki, one from his palms, and one from his mouth, both intent on overwhelming and overtaking Lilith at close range.

Seeing a child fall lifeless often stirred many emotions. In this case... smug satisfaction. The witch lowered her hand, letting the pillar crash down. Ah, such sweet silence. Too bad it didn’t last. The brat was all too quick to bounce back up, seeming rattled yet disappointingly unharmed. Such elasticity... Wait, did he just say Majin? The crimson eyes widened with the realization. Oh... great... This was going to get a whole lot more complicated. The blinding light stung her eyes, leaving her wincing and unable to even move. Her form was engulfed by the attack, completely and utterly vaporized, vanishing into thin air. The ruins trembled and dust billowed as the raw energy tore through the stones.
Suddenly Lilith’s cold voice chimed from further away behind the boy. "You remind me of why I hate children." She was now standing on the raised stones of what had been a building once. The boy had unleashed his anger on a mere illusion. Though she had escaped the attack unharmed, her eyes were still watering, blurring her vision. How annoying. Her aura flared as well, like violet smog coiling at her feet. She lifted her hand and inky wisps of energy circled her fingers. "Creeping Dark." The same shady substance reached from the shadows beneath the boy, lunging at his face. It tried to latch on like a splash of tar, sticky and blinding.
Regardless of whether the distraction worked, the young witch continued casting. She needed something fierce, violent, something that could hunt even if blinded... And she knew just the creature for the task. "From Hell’s heart I summon thee..." As she uttered the words, an infernal flame drew an unholy symbol on the ground. "Come forth, hunter of gods, Fenrir." In a flash of fire, a massive wolf appeared. Eyes like burning embers, fur like a steel armor and teeth like shining daggers, it was gigantic enough to cast a shadow over Majin. "Attack." A single word was all it needed to leap, to try and chew the boy up like a living piece of gum.
Counting on the snarling beast to buy more time, Lilith gathered her power for one more incantation. "Suffer the pains of conquest, famine and pestilence as your body withers away..." While the words flowed into the air, arcane glow engulfed her fingers one by one. Yellow, blue, violet... "Black Death." She clutched her hand and a blast of foul air erupted around the foe. It smelled like death and decay... Or rotten eggs for a more naive nose. If the Majin’s unnatural biology failed to withstand it, he might soon find his breath running short. Majin Khoshai was a mystical creature. His entire species and their history derived from magic. The original Majin Buu's close association with Bibidi, all those years ago, ensured that. Majin Khoshai was a mystical creature too, his body manipulation, his swift regeneration and some of his natural abilities could be considered a mix of mystical mysteries and Ki manipulation.
That didn't mean he loved magic. And when he did, he liked it when he was using it. This....this was just some bullshit.
You see, Majin Khoshai initially thought that he had destroyed the witch, his impressive display of power completely engulfing Lilith. Then, when the light pollution cleared, she wasn't there. So, his first thought was that he vaporized her, and as such could go back to playing on his private playground.
"You remind me of why I hate children..."What?Majin Khoshai's eyes widened, and he looked around frantically, as if searching for the source of the voice. Then, he sensed her and his attention turned to where Lilith stood. She had somehow appeared all the way over there, and had grown stronger! And what was worse, was that she was already spouting stuff Kho didn't understand!Well, he didn't understand until it happened. The shadows converged on the pink Majin, like a constant sheet of black, covering his vision, overtaking him, trying to engulf him. "Nooooooo! No hurt Majin Kho! Bad darkness! BAD DARKNESS! OWWWWWWWWW!!!" Through his shouting, and with his vision impaired, he didn't even notice the wolf lunging forward. It's massive maw clamped down hard on his left arm, its' razor sharp teeth slicing straight through his bubblegum like skin. The wolf shook back and forth, trying to rip the limb off. And rip it off he did, for with a popping sound, Majin Kho flew away floated away from the beast, crying out in pain as the wolf consumed his left arm. His arm was only gone momentarily, however, before it instantly began to regenerate, the missing limb popping back into existence. Hell, even his armband was still there. "You hurt Majin Kho for no reason! Majin Kho just wanted to play! But you make Majin Kho angry! MAJIN KHO KILL YOU!"And with that, the pink menace let out a bestial roar as his pink aura flared to life, violent and powerful stretching out. Yet, there was something different about his aura. Sparkles of light were twinkling about his form, like tiny little stars, illuminating his aura even more.It seemed the Majin had magic of his own.The gases that threatened to engulf Kho were summarily sucked into his body, and his aura grew gradually bigger. If Lilith wasn't careful to guard herself, she would feel her own power leaving her, her own essence flowing from her and into the Majin, the only indication of such would be her own decreasing strength, and the growing size of his twinkling aura as he continued to scream. It almost made you wonder....what was this thing?Such cries lasted quite awhile, until Kho finally refocused himself, before shooting forward, his twinkling aura still active. From a distance, he looked like a shooting star, for his aura trailed behind him, like a spiritual tail. Zipping across the field and ending up in front of Lilith, he outstretched one hand towards her, while keeping one hand directed towards the ground. His left hand, which was directed at her, began to charge with intense pink energy. With a shrill yell, Kho let the massive pink sphere go, the sphere redirecting its energies into a massive Ki beam, similar to the first. His other hand would do the same thing, except this Ki beam would burrow into the ground, and would position itself in such a way that it would erupt under Lilith, where ever the winds took her next, in an unexpected surprise attack from underneath.Lilith Nevermore BATTLE TRACKER

An annoyance. Lilith’s eyes narrowed. That’s what this thing was. She watched as it quickly regenerated even from the most grievous wounds. Her curse failed to affect it as well, she could tell. Not enough agonized writhing and bloody coughing. Instead, the child just kept grating her patience. And her ears. Even as the aura grew bigger, she made no move to escape it. The heir of the Nevermore clan did not cower from anyone or anything. Before the magical aura could drain anything from her, it fizzled against her enchanted robes. She brushed her hair behind her ear with a scoff. "Hmph, a pathetic parlor trick. I shall show you real magic." Truth to be told, she was curious about the ancient form of magic emanating from the boy. Too bad the curiosity was drowned beneath all that screaming.
When the inevitable retaliation came, the young witch was ready. "Witch Step." As soon as the words were spoken, her body seemed to blur. She took a single step, yet unseen energies carried her several paces over the air. Slipping past both ki beams as they tore the ground asunder, she landed on another pillar and pointed her hand towards the boy. "Attack." Again the monster wolf followed the command, snarling and leaping upwards. A massive paw swiped, aimed to swat the prey down. Meanwhile, the caster continued her assault as well. "Creeping Dark." Another dark tendril lashed at the boy, aiming to blind him further. Her vision was slowly coming back and she wouldn’t grant that luxury to her enemy.
With the foe sufficiently distracted again, hopefully, the cold-hearted woman gathered her power. That baleful glow around her fingers returned. Majin Khoshai's eyes widened as he saw that he missed again! This woman was something else! Able to withstand his magic and come back with her own? And hers was stronger? Who was she?
Once more, his show of force did not warrant anything, Lilith vanishing before reappearing not too far away from where she was previously. And what was worse, was that she had an attack of her own on the ready. Majin Khoshai still hadn't shaken off the effects of her last few curses, and now she was going to compound curse upon curse until Kho was just a pile of goo on the ground. And the worst thing?
It was working.
Khoshai felt the barrage of curses, weighing down on him like weights. His movements were slowing, his body felt heavier, it was harder for him to breathe. Hell, he even felt his power level dropping, his Ki manipulation failing. It was as if the Majin was being suffocated by magic. He cried out as he writhed against the surging mists, as they invaded his pours, filling him up with foreign magic.
Why couldn't he be like this woman? Why couldn't he use his own magic?
Majin Khoshai cried out once again, this time in pure anger. He couldn't...he couldn't let her win. The beast's paw swipe didn't help much either, sending the Khoshai crashing back a couple of meters before righting himself."Majin Khoshai doesn't want to die....! Majin Kho has magic too!"Crying out, Khoshai's aura began to flare again, yet this time more violent...and more desperate. His aura exhibited the same sparkling, mysterious aura, seeking to suck in and siphon energy from everything around him, and feed it to his own reserves. His aura was also emitting a near blinding light, bright pink light emitting in waves from his body, threatening to blind all who stood to stare upon his frame. The aura at this point was the extent of his magic at the moment, serving as a barrier, and an offensive technique. Yet, it also showed something else.
Like a cornered animal, the Majin was getting desperate.

Finally Lilith allowed herself a small smile. This uppity Majin was no match for her magical might. But then, who was? However, her pride left her careless. This time the desperate aura attack caught her off-guard, siphoning her energy away. It was like a sudden chill creeping down her back. She stared at the Majin boy, feeling disgusted and violated. A mere peasant dared to steal her noble energy? The gall! While her power did dip noticeably, it almost immediately flared again, surpassing what it had previously been. No more holding back. Hands trembling, balling into tight fists, she struggled to keep her cool. Deep breaths... She could hear her wise grandmother’s sage advice echoing in the depths of her mind. Don’t get mad... Get sadistic.
The blinding light forced the witch to tug down the wide brim of her hat. It was too late though, her eyes were stinging and watering again. Her ego took brunt of the damage. "Die...? As if I would grant you such mercy..." She pointed a finger at the foe and spat out a hateful order. "Fenrir, tear that insolent brat into pieces." ...Buuut the wolf only whined and flopped to its side, panting miserably. Lilith’s cold facade cracked. She aimed an incredulous stare at the beast. "...What do you mean you’re tired?! You’re a magical monster. How does that even...? Tch, forget it." She could deal with that useless mutt later. Right now, the important thing was making the putty creature pay for this humiliation.
Lilith snatched her wand from her belt and flicked it to full length. She could barely see, but she wouldn’t let that stop her from glaring at the enemy. Erm, or at least where she thought he was right now. "Suffer." As the command was spoken, cursed energies crackled in the air. The clashed against the barrier for now, clawing against it, eager to get through. She took aim. "I call forth the frenzy of flora..." Between the prongs at the tip, a small leaf grew from the metal. It rapidly dried and decayed as she spoke the incantation. "Twin Withering Hex." Two green bolts shot from the wand, circling around each other as they headed for the boy. If they hit, he would feel a painful blast of thorns upon him. And if his fortitude failed, he would learn what it felt like to dry up and wither like a plant without water... Majin Khoshai grinned as her dark energies filled within him, empowering him, making him stronger. Khoshai couldn't help but laugh as her magical power enhanced him, made him feel a way, unlike anything he had ever felt before. He didn't know how to describe it...but it felt good. But apparently this witch didn't like it when Khoshai felt good. His laughs immediately died down once he felt the witch's power spike back up again, and seemingly surpass her previous limitations. Yet, the issue was, such shouldn't be possible! The boy had put everything he had behind that mystical attack. It couldn't have failed! He felt Lilith's power enter his body, fill him with strength! Hell, he still felt it! So...what was wrong?! Khoshai didn't have the time to wrap his mind against such an enigma The curse snuck past the barrier that was his aura, his body suddenly seized in spasms as electricity coursed through his body, only a visible representation of the internal damage that wracked his body "AHHHHHHHH!"He didn't understand what the issue was....how could this be happening? How could she still be hurting him?! Majin Khoshai continued crying out in pain, until he forced himself to focus, his mind snapping back to the battle at hand as he heard Lilith's incantations. Those stupid words....those stupid spells! He hated it when that woman spoke! He hated it when she said anything! She had been trying to hurt him since the beginning...and for no reason! Pressurized steam shot out from his pores. He couldn't stand this woman. He just wanted her to..... The two green bolts of energy shot at him with a ferocious fury, one particular bolt faster than the other, racing ahead to latch onto Khoshai. At the last moment, his body flickered out of view, aura and all, as he dodged the bolt via Rapid Movement. He appeared a few meters away, as the second bolt curved around to race to his new position. He just wanted Lilith to.... The second bolt this time smashed into Khoshai, yet his mystical aura took the entirety of the blast for him, soaking up everything. However, his aura diminished greatly as a result, simply a shadow of his former self. He just wanted Lilith to.... "GO AWAY!"The command acted almost like a spell of it's own, Khoshai's innate mysticism waking up, his rage acting a a catalyst. His eyes lit up with pink energy as he would conduct his own spell. If such was conducted properly, Lilith would suddenly feel as if a truck ran over her, as a sudden, invisible force would smash full force into her. If hit, it would most definitely send the woman sprawling. Lilith lowered her wand, watching as the foe avoided one blast and rejected the other with pure force. Curse this blurred vision eating away at her focus... However... If there was one thing she had to admit, it was that this damnable creature had most impressive durability. She had never seen anything like it. A lesser being would have been expelling their bloody insides out right about now. Yet the Majin kept regenerating and resisting. How very fascinating. She slipped her wand back onto her belt and flexed her fingers a bit. Retaliation was coming. So predictable. But this time she would not be caught off-guard. And her pet would help her, whether he liked it or not.
When the Majin demonstrated his brutal type of magic, the witch quickly swept her hand before her body. The slender fingers coiled, making a tugging motion. "Guard." The command was followed by a startled whine. The invisible force did indeed smash into something, sending it tumbling backwards. It had barely time to crash into the stones before the follow-up blast sent it high into the sky. A pained howl echoed as the figure vanished into a mere twinkle into the sky. As the dust settled, the eerie woman appeared completely unharmed by the devastating attacks. It had been the wolf that suffered the pain in her stead. Well, not willingly of course, but servants had no say in such matters. They would sacrifice their lives for her even if she had to wield them like marionettes.
The pale lady shifted her hand at raging boy. "Amusing. I was about to say the same thing to you." Familiar shadows gathered around her digits. "Creeping Dark." For the third time, the darkness lashed out to blind the foe. Eye for an eye, as they said... She gathered her focus, fighting against the aching of her... pride. "You dare raise your voice at me... use your filthy magics on me... And now you demand that I leave?" As she spoke, the curse kept crackling in the air, whipping the foe with bolts of pain. "Hmph, how disgusting. Learn your place, brat." The glow around her hand turned blue. "Soul Drain." Suddenly there was a pull in the air, like an icy hand grasping the boy and yanking violently. Majin Khoshai let out a frustrated roar as his fierce magical attack only served to destroy the fearsome wolf. Under normal circumstances, he would've been happy to a degree that the big bad wolf had been vanquished, but Lilith had proven to cause a lot more damage than a stupid demonic wolf, so such a victory held no sway over the Majin child. Green electricity coursed through Khoshai's body as the curse continued to wrack his body, draining him of his power. He hated this woman, he hated his mysterious ways of hurting him without even touching him. He hated her attitude, he hated the fact that he couldn't even have fun here without someone interrupting him! Why was the world so mean?Yet, he still wasn't going to give up. This was not the end yet. He refused to let it be! He would succeed....he would! He had to! He was going to....win! As the darkness threatened once again to engulf him, Majin Khoshai grew even angrier. He wouldn't let this thing get to him again. Letting out a loud roar, Khoshai's aura flared up again with renewed energy, banishing the darkness away from him with his brilliant pink light. His aura redoubled their efforts as a protective barrier, as if fully restored to new. Lilith would feel his power growing as a response to his anger, she could see the steam shooting out of his pores, accompanied by a loud sound, as if a train whistle was going off continuously, filling the air with its' sound. As Lilith's magic attempted to establish a link with Khoshai, it would find itself repelled by his magical aura, her own energies unable to penetrate. She would be warranted a bit of his energy as her Soul Drain did manage to drain some of his Ki away, and into her, yet it did not have nearly the same effect as what it was most definitely originally intended to do. Letting out a shrill scream, all the Majin could see was a blur of red, as his rage took over. His power get climbing and climbing as he shot forward, like a rocket. Much to the noble’s surprise, her attacks failed almost entirely. Her startled gaze widened as the Majin continued to violently resist. What little energy she managed to siphon was immediately spent on dodging the incoming attack. "Witch Step." At the very last second, her form blurred and was pulled out of the way by invisible powers. The ruins trembled from the impact. Shattered stone were scattered around. Many of the teetering pillars toppled. More priceless artifacts were most likely reduced to dust. By now a reasonable person would admit their mistake in challenging an endlessly regenerating being with essentially limitless energy. A huge mistake, really.
Lilith, however, was far past the point of reason.
The crimson eyes had shrunken into hateful pinpricks. Absurdly sharp teeth gritted together. Her whole slender frame quivered with seething, barely contained rage. "You stubborn, insolent, low-class wretch..." So much for not getting mad. Again that cursed energy crackled, but it too was losing power against the magical creature. She grasped the wand and aimed it at glowing, pink energy. "I call forth the fury of flames..." Between the prongs a small spark flared into life. Suddenly the temperature around her spiked. "Twin Fiery Hex." Two red bolts exploded into the air, like missiles of pure fire. They carried hellish heat, setting the overgrowth ablaze as they traveled. Once again, all he met with was air. The Majin cursed her speed, cursed her magic that allowed her to dodge everything that he had dished out. If only she'd just stand still and get hit, he would be playing right now! But nooooo, she had to keep trying to ruin his fun! Had to keep beating him up! He didn't like her! And he sure as hell wouldn't let her kill him. Khoshai managed to slow down his hateful descent before he crashed full force into the ground, outstretching his arms to break his fall, the energy used to surround him nonetheless creating a rather decent sized crater in the ground as a result of his expended energy. Steam continued to shoot from his pores as Khoshai fumed, his anger not satiated. It wouldn't be satiated until this woman was gone. Sensing around for Lilith, Khoshai's head suddenly turned to focus on her, just as she released her assault upon him. His eyes widened, for he had hardly enough reaction time as both attacks seemed to explode, the flames and heat washing over him in waves, the intensity near suffocating. The Majin let out a scream as he was burned, his body turning black as it caught fire. After a few moments of flailing around, Khoshai fell to the ground, motionless, as the flames continued to eat away at him. He laid like that for what could be seen as a few minutes, the flames eating away at his body until they eventually died away, leaving half of his body intact, yet charred black. The other half seemed to have disintegrated entirely. Normally, that would be that, right? Not when dealing with a creature such as Khoshai. His body began to twitch, before suddenly dissolving into convulsions, the black charred body thrashing about. From his midsection pink goo began to be expelled, covering the ground under him, before beginning to take shape, his lower half regenerating, clothes and all. At the same time, pink goo overcame Khoshai's upper half too, engulfing him completely as he regenerated. What took several minutes to burn to a crisp regenerated in about a minute, with a brand new Majin Kho appearing before her very eyes a few moments later...just as angry as he was before. Hell, perhaps even more so. However, his regeneration wasn't perfect. His skin was irritated, actually a more intense shade of red rather than bright pink. Perhaps the Majin was weakening? Unable to regenerate as effectively as he was before? Was his regrowth incomplete? All questions that had yet to be answered. Not that Kho would allow Lilith time to mull it over. Charging full speed at her, the Majin would growl before his hands lit ablaze with energy, large pink spheres of Ki forming in his palms. Rearing his hands back, Khoshai would chuck both energy spheres at her, the blasts growing in size once they left his hands, intent on engulfing Lilith whole. For a moment there, Lilith allowed herself a sigh of relief. Not because she was worried about her victory, absolutely not. It was even ridiculous to suggest that... No, she was relieved that her headache was gone. She could get back to her research and... and... "Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me..." Seeing the Majin pull himself together from the devastated state spurred a confusing sensation of combined awe and irritation. Why? Why wouldn’t that creature stay down? Her eyes shined with a strange gleam and magic danced around her figure... Yet she didn’t move. Both attacks hit dead on, engulfing her in their deadly glow. She was promptly turned into dust and scattered to the wind. And if that effect seemed familiar, well...
Suddenly the woman’s voice crept from behind the boy, along with a gust of icy air. "I call forth the wrath of winter..." White mist billowed around her from the rapidly dropping temperature. She leveled her wand at him from her vantage point atop a broken wall. A snowflake twirled on the tip of her wand. "Frost Hex." She fired a blue bolt that coated whatever it hit in a white layer of ice. The foe had better be careful or he would be frozen solid. Exactly as she was planning... "I call forth the enmity of earth..." The snowflake turned into a brown stone. "Shatter Hex." Another bolt pierced the air, this time brown in color. Getting hit would’ve been like a blast of gravel, tearing and shattering whatever it struck.
After the attacks, Lilith was left breathing heavily. While she was talented enough to sling even demanding spells in quick succession, it drained her reserves quickly. Yet she still refused to relent. This had stopped being about the ruins or artifacts several attacks ago. Now it was a matter of pride, pure and simple. She would see to it that this creature lived the rest of its miserable existence in fear of her power. If that required going through the entire elemental spectrum spell by spell, then so be it. Majin Khoshai let out a frustrated yell as once again he failed to hit Lilith! Every time he tried to hit her, she kept moving! Khoshai had no real evidence at first that Lilith wasn't obliterated by his attack. However, he had been tricked by this woman countless numbers of time, and as a result was suspicious every time he lost sight of her, which was the case this time as well. It looked like it hit her, but he didn't see her, so it might not have been what it seemed. And hell, he was right. Majin Khoshai was once again greeted by that infernal voice, the voice of someone who was mocking him just with her presence. The voice of someone who sought to destroy him for no reason. The voice of a witch. And he decided he didn't like witches. His skin burned something fierce, a reminder of that woman's magic, and of his inability to regenerate completely. And here came more magical bolts, most likely filled with more nasty surprises, the likes of which he wasn't about to open. As the first bolt of energy neared, Majin Khoshai's core suddenly opened up, creating a massive hole where his center mass would be, allowing the bolt of energy to zoom right through him, fizzling off into the distance. Due to the close proximity, he could feel the cold chill of the hex, and almost regretted dodging it. He could've used a bit of cold to soothe his burns. The next blast wasn't so friendly, however. The hole closing itself up again, Khoshai's form flickered out of view via Rapid Movement, the Majin flickering in and out of view as he zoomed across the ruins. Suddenly, he would reappear directly behind her, closing the distance between the two. Majin Khoshai's aura would suddenly flare up, stirring up the winds with his energy as he prepared for his offensive. Similar to the last time, large pink spheres of energy would form in each of his hands, growing to the size of a bowling ball, with blue electricity crackling along the frame. Leaning back, Kho would push off the balls of his feet and leap back, at the same time thrusting the energy balls forward, both spheres of energy shooting off his fingertips, seeking to destroy the witch. Arrogance was a dangerous thing. For all this time the young noble had been underestimating her foe, holding back and looking down her nose. Now it all came back to bite her. She was much too stunned by the display of dodging prowess to utter the words needed for her own. And so she simply... took it. The whole attack. It blasted her away, until she crashed against the furthest wall. A spiderweb of cracks spread across the ancient stones. Something gave in with a disgusting crack. She fell into the ruined ground, beaten and motionless. There was a reason she had been dodging everything up until now. Just one attack resulted in this. A Majin’s strength was not to be taken lightly...
However, even when reduced to a bloodied heap, Lilith was still conscious. And furious. Those hateful eyes, though half-closed and shaky, still aimed their glare at the magical creature. How...? She was of noble blood. That made her better by default! So how was this despicable creature giving her so much trouble?! An attempt to push herself up ended in a painful flop. She couldn’t feel her legs anymore. Merely trying to breathe was proving difficult. Every pained gasp tasted like blood. She could forget about uttering lengthy incantations now... Luckily some spells didn’t require incantation. They could be fueled with sheer emotion. Like hate for instance.
The young witch took a deep breath, even as her lungs screamed. Calm down... Focus... Just had to get two words out. "Negative... Maelstrom..." Responding to will alone, dark energies erupted from her soul and coated her body. Strange black bolts surged outwards, lashing at her surroundings like a multi-headed snake. It turned into a swirling storm, swallowing the whole area in a massive explosion. For a split second it looked like all the colors in the world had been inverted. White became black, light became dark. The foul radiation was toxic enough to leave even magical creatures blinded and suffering from a strange poisoning. He had done it! He had actually hit her! Khoshai knew, from the moment that the blasts made contact, that he had finally gotten her...and this time he had her body to prove it. However, he wasn't through with her yet. This was personal. This was beyond just a simple game. The ruins, although in a state of disrepair when Kho had found it, had been "ruined" in his eyes since Lilith had appeared, and he knew he could never play here again, regardless of the outcome of this fierce bout. And that.....that enraged him more than anything else. And then Lilith had the gall to still attempt to fight him? He would show her! Majin Kho will show her!Regardless of his personal feelings however, he couldn't believe that this witch was this powerful. Displaying acts of magical prowess that would make even the great magician Babidi tremble in fear of her....if Majin Kho knew who that was, however. She was....something else. An apparition not of this world. If Khoshai didn't hate her so much, he would've wanted to become friends with her or something. But, any chance of that was gone. Nonetheless, Khoshai's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the level of power Lilith was still capable of summoning, despite her injuries. The darkness emanating from her, the level of malice....it was frightening. A level of hatred so thick one could reach out and practically feel it coursing through the spaces between their fingers. Khoshai could feel Lilith's power growing, the darkness lashing out at her surroundings.... And then the world went to black. Khoshai didn't even have a chance to respond before the explosion of darkness engulfed the ruins. In an ironic sense, the very area that Lilith wished to preserve, was most likely destroyed or disturbed as a result of her extreme magic and hatred for the pink Majin. Khoshai had never felt so much pain in his life. Every fiber, every cell, every atom of his being hurt as the dark energies wracked him, tortured him over and over again. He could feel his body being torn apart. He could feel his very bodily chemistry being changed, the radiation rooting itself deep in his soul. At this rate, there was a chance he could be.... No.Majin Khoshai was a Majin. Just like Majin Buu! He was a being of extreme power, and of extreme freedom. And most of all, he was a kid! He had so much more to live for, so much more to explore, so many things left to eat! He would not let this witch kill him. With a scream that would shake the very heavens, Majin Khoshai's aura exploded outwards, creating a buffer of sorts between himself and the raging storm. His entire body hurt, and parts of him were missing, but were rapidly regenerating. Yet, he still held this much power in his reserves! How was such possible? Because, like all Majins, his power was deeply connected to his emotions. The angrier he got, the stronger he became. And the more he wanted to destroy everything. His aura lashed out, taking the form of a pink, ethereal bubble, protecting himself from the remnants of Lilith's storm, and also saving himself from sure destruction. The boy continued to scream, his voice serving as an outlet for his rage, and letting the world know it as well. Finally, he voiced his malice into words. The first words he had spoken for several minutes now. "Majin Kho kill you."Usually, Kho's voice was rather high pitched and overexcited (much like the original Majin Buu). But this time, his voice resonated through the storm, clearly audible to Lilith. And it was much deeper pitched, with a wave of malice attached to it, the feeling near palpable. (His voice relating more to Super Buu's) He raised both hands to the sky and began to charge his energy, pink Ki coalescing around his palms, and then forming into a large sphere of Ki above his palms, starting off at the size of a bowling ball and then growing exponentially larger. Electricity crackled upon the sphere's surface, the energy poured into this grander than anything he had ever launched before. Much to Lilith’s growing frustration, the damnable creature refused to simply roll over and die like a good boy. And frustration it was, nothing more. To even suggest she could be... afraid... of that thing was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous... She could see the attack coming, but aside from defiantly rearing her head, there was nothing she could do. Her legs were mere dead weight. Dodging was out of the question. Unless... That blue light shined in her gaze again. Somewhere in the far corners of the ruins, something responded to her call. The initial impact struck the vulnerable woman head on, nearly killing her instantly. Yet a dark blur shot like a dart towards her just before the explosion.
As the massive cloud of dust settled, a dark speck floated above the ruined scenery. How the haughty had fallen... Clinging to consciousness by the thinnest thread, the young witch coughed splatters of crimson. Laying on her broom, beaten and bloody, she resembled a mere spirit looming above the field of dust. Her energy was nearly gone. There was nothing left fight for, no artifacts nor old structures. Furthermore, this was her last chance to flee, to suppress her power and vanish into the forest before the creature realized she was still drawing breath...
As if!
The sharp teeth gnashed together. Blue glow spread over the red eyes. Trembling with fierce determination, the pale hand rose towards the foe. Lilith Nevermore fled from no one! "Soul... Drain..." There was a pull in the air. It started weak, yet quickly grew into a supernatural vortex. The cold sensation sought to steal the foe's energy for her one last time. It was a pity her lungs felt like they were on fire. No chance for any final witticisms before she drained him dry. Or collapsed trying... BATTLE TRACKER DEFENSE PHASE. The explosion was devastating. The air was ablaze with an intense heat, nearly suffocating. The Majin's display of power was near monstrous, such a show of force capable of vaporizing those it came into contact with. Yet, he wasn't invincible. Nor was his energy limitless. He merely hid it well, and managed to summon more energy from his reserves due to his intense anger. However, even in the midst of his rage, Khoshai couldn't hide his draining energy. Yet at least it was over. Khoshai could feel the last tendrils of the maelstrom being wiped away as the energy explosion caused by his own attack faded away. He was glad he was done. Glad that he could finally.....finally rest somewhere. Maybe go back home and recover. Do something about this damn pai- She's alive?Khoshai's eyes darted over to the nearly unconscious Lilith, laying upon her broom. Her energy was like a cancer to Khoshai. Every time...... every time he thought he killed her....she just kept coming back! That attack was his biggest one yet! It should've vaporized her. Yet she clearly was not vaporized. Khoshai frowned and raised his right hand, pink energy coalescing in his right palm as the Majin prepared to finish her off, channeling the rest of his energy into one last blast.....something meant to shake the heavens, to evaporate this woman. However, before he could fire the attack, Khoshai noticed the intense cold sensation, followed by the winds whipping up in accordance to Lilith's command. Khoshai's eyes would then widen surprise as the energy sphere in his hand would begin to decrease in size....followed by his own energy levels. He felt weaker...he could feel his power decreasing. His...his fatigue getting stronger. No.....no....Majin Khoshai....doesn't want to die....Nonetheless, he felt himself getting weaker and weaker. As the vortex whipped him up, Khoshai could do nothing to stop it, as he was thrown about. Eventually, he was released from the vortex's grip, and was thrown to the ground, his energy a shell of his former self. He could feel his energy fading, his consciousness lightly slipping. As sleep moved upon him to claim him, Khoshai finally gave in, his body shutting down completely in order to replenish his energies. However, as he fell unconscious, a weird pink light began to emanate from his body, and slowly began to form a solid shell around his form, protecting him from harm. With the strange pink dome protecting his fallen body, the Majin child let out a small, nearly childlike whimper of pain, all his anger replaced with pain and rejection. Finally... Finally! Like a match already dim and damp, the uppity bundle of energy was finally snuffed out. And not a moment too soon. The vortex subsided and the hand casting it flopped weakly. Lilith would’ve allowed herself a mildly maniacal victory laugh, but her breath was already running short. Plus it would’ve hurt to laugh. So she settled for a devious smile. Still, seeing the ancient ruins reduced to a crater dampened her victory somewhat. Well, there was nothing left to research anymore. As much as she would’ve loved to waste the rest of the day pointlessly digging through the remaining dust, she had more urgent matters to handle. Namely the internal bleeding. Nothing that a bath of healing potions wouldn’t fix though... Without wasting further time, the witch very, very carefully clung to her broom and flew off to the horizon. The Majin brat was left where he had collapsed. He didn’t deserve the kindness, if you asked her, but she didn’t have much choice. If the legends were true, that snoozing menace would be up and about far faster than her... And when that happened, she was going to be far, far away from this mess. At least today hadn’t been a complete waste of time though. She had learned a thing or two about her own limits after all. As for what came of her findings, well, that’s a whole different story...
