Working to achieve one’s goals was time-consuming. Day after day Kouzi had worked away perfecting her art, as they say, the obstacles you overcome to meet your end goal is the very essence of diligence. Kouzi liked to think of herself as a excessive worker, and finally she had the perfect pawns play into her hands. She prepared a spell deep within her smoke-filled den that would be used to telepathically communicate with her worshipers. The lavender-haired witch finally had obtained all of the ingredients for one hell of a summoning. One of unholy proportions.
After all, she did single-handedly craft one of the most powerful minion spells possible. She had worked tirelessly on the project for years, even. It wasn’t often something managed to breach into the realm of the mortals, so she needed to be prepared. Today's lesson was just that. How strong are these mortals, and what threat will they be to Kouzi in the future. Knowing one's enemy was one of the strongest advantages you could have in any type of combat. Even if the gap were only open for a few minutes, she could at least observe their skills and prepare for her next appearance.
The witch also had to hope that the mindless goons she employed will have enough life energy to sustain her portal. It was bad enough that they both needed to be casting simultaneously on both sides of the realms. She would be unable to escape without the help of such simple-minded mortals. She could at least thank them for that, by ending their pathetic lives that is. The crowd of cloaked minions worked diligently on Earth, ensuring that their God's will come to fruition, the media coverage of the event had been tremendous.
The witch lingering within the demon realm desperately reached out to any weak minds she could pinpoint. She had them do her bidding, commanding their idiotic minds and bending their wills like a puppet. These were the ingredients Kouzi needed to secure her ticket to freedom. Bodies in the mortal and demon realm working together was a rarity however, Kouzi had been fortunate to find these cult members in a time of weak-mindedness. Like a demon taking over the soul she wove her will into the thoughtless husks that were formerly people.
Using their aid she were able to get in touch with contacts within the mortal plane. Only a few weeks earlier a beacon went to every Imperial station in the galaxy. It were only a warning of few words and a time and place. Most legitimate forces that would defend against such an invasion in particular dismissed all of the Citizen's worries. Their aim was to keep the masses in a tonic state like trained dogs.
The coordinates lead to a highland area of hills and rocky peaks. The entire package was nestled into dense forests that hugged the edges of many walking trails meant for visitors to the area. The view was outstanding still. Anyone standing where this eerie ritual took place could see for miles past waves of hills that were dizzying to look at.
That was the point of attack for the witch, she would penetrate and see what the mortal's warriors had to offer her in terms of defense. If they proved too much a threat, she may have to give up her cause of entering the realm for yet, another time. For some reason however, Kouzi remained optimistic in her endeavors this time. Maybe it had something to do with contacts she had to help her once she were on this side for good.
“Finally, it seems my message was well received; wait in place and continue the ritual until completion.” The voice range though her minion’s heads as they stood within the plunging hills. The rain poured around them and managed to saturate everything within a few seconds. Although most wouldn’t want to perform a demonic ritual in such conditions, mind controlled cultists didn’t have that luxury. They diligently stayed with their arms waving in mystical casting motions.
The trio were dressed in dark garbs, their eyes dulls and bags drooping just below. They all simultaneously acknowledged Kouzi before returning to filtering their magical powers into a single point between them all. The various magics were all unique, each a key required to complete the ritual at hand. They all chanted in unison their incantation while their hands filtered their own life energy into whatever they were trying to conjure.
While there were many who ignored the threat from Kouzi the witch, there were some hopefuls who remained optimistic that they could make their big break in the world of hero-dom with success of this mission. Outside of the state park’s entrance many oddly dressed superhero ‘die-hards’ marched their way towards the same location. All multitudes of species and sexes hiked the mountainous trails to make their way towards the high altitudes of hill riddled horizon. Whatever was supposed to be happening was surely up there.
The cultists were already there, they had already been for three days. None of the hero hopefuls had the nerve to interrupt their ritual, perhaps they weren’t that strong after all. However, everyone could only worry about the ominous green portal that hung heavier in the air by the second. It were nearly the size of a few meters in diameter.
Anyone now approaching would be met by one of the many ‘heroes’ that lingered in the area for someone to make the first move. However, it didn’t seem like it were to happen before the portal get any bigger and let in some beast. Whatever lurked on the other side were way more frightening to a bunch of pale tan twenty-year-old goth kids.
As the rain continued to fall the gray backdrop was only fitting. Hopefully someone with enough gall would come to intervene soon.
“Yeah! I heard that it’s going to be some demonic centaur or somethin’!” Some loud guy yelled obnoxiously as he pulled up the seat of his pants to cover a shy butt-crack. He had been here since day one of the beacons delivery, and probably hadn’t showered or changed since. The stench that wafted from the kid was of onions and moldy bread.

Mizuri leaned back in the captain's chair of her ship, a bucket of assorted alien meats tucked underneath her right arm while her left rummaged through the breasts and wings to find a particularly thick drumstick before yanking it free and tearing a huge chunk of the meat off the bone with her teeth. If an Earthling were to see her now, they might think she was eating fried chicken at first glance... though a closer observation would make it clear that it was something else entirely. Beneath the fried batter was green flesh riddled with strange black lumps. It was once a piece of a monster known as a Lavarathen and was feared across the galaxy for it's lethal toxicity. Even a mere touch could send an unwitting victim into a coma from which there was no return. But here sat the Saiyan, happily chomping away at her meal while gazing out into the infinite abyss of space.
Message intercepted from galactic channel IMP20032. Play recording?
The Saiyan ripped off another mouthful of Lavarathen meat before rolling her shoulders in a noncommittal shrug. "Gesh sho." The other voice belonged to the AI that piloted her ship, The Final Frontier. Cheesy, but she liked it well enough. 'Burning Justice' was the runner-up. She probably made the right choice. She wished it had a little more personality though. Though she was distracted from her thoughts when the message flashed across the screens before her. Mizuri swallowed what was in her mouth with a mighty gulp before furrowing her brows. "Huh. I was expecting audio or somethin'." She gestured towards the numbers displayed on the screen with the stripped bone in her hand. "Those're coordinates, right? Where to?" The message was replaced with a display of a planet, which drew only an absentminded 'Huh' from the Saiyan as she fished out another piece of meat from the bucket. "A warning and a set of coordinates. That's a trap for sure, right?" Calculating probability. Mizuri's lip curled into a smirk as she shifted the bucket into her lap so that she could use her now free hand to punch in the coordinates given. "It's like I always say... what is a trap but an open casting call for a hero?! Setting course for adventure! Haaaahahahaha!" She threw her head back as her body quaked with a deep seated laughter, her hand curling into a fist before slamming down on the button to send the ship hurling through space.
----------------------------------------------
The trip was neither particularly long nor unpleasant, but still sufficient for Mizuri to finish the rest of her lunch before cleaning off the mixture of grease and poison from her hands. As for the ship itself, it remained in outer orbit above the targeted location. It'd be really unfortunate if she tried to bring it closer to the planet only for it to get shot down, after all. It was hard to traverse the cosmos without a ship, and she didn't have the money for a replacement! Thus, once the appropriate preparations were made, she climbed into one of the ship's space pods and sealed the door behind her. The pod was little more than a giant white sphere with a circular glass dome embedded in the front to let the pilot get their bearings. It was easily recognizable as a Saiyan design, one that hadn't changed aesthetically in hundreds of years since it's invention. All it took was flicking a couple of switches, and the pod was violently jettisoned from the ship, becoming wreathed in flame as it rocketed towards the surface of the world below...
As it happened, the pod crashed almost exactly halfway between the gathered cultists and wannabe heroes with enough force to kick up an explosion of dust and debris, albeit neither was likely to reach as far as the crowds. Though when the cloud began to subside, Mizuri had already climbed out of the pod, one hand pressed against her hip while the other shot up into the air in a clenched fist. "Never fear, for I am here!" The clenched hand came down to her chest so that she could extend her thumb towards her face as she sported a dopey grin. "Know that you face Mizuri of the Galactic Patrol! Now let's rumble!" Despite practically radiating confidence, she had no idea what was happening or who the group she was currently facing down were. She just assumed that it was a trap, so whoever happened to be at the location was her enemy. And in this case... the only group that was in her line of sight happened to be the crowd of wannabe heroes. Luckily for them, she wouldn't attack unprovoked... probably.

An influx of intense magical energy had roused Raijin from a rather intense dream, Rai envisioning himself highly successful and piloting a lavish space cruiser through the known (and unknown) universe. The hybrid burst from his makeshift campground with a fright. There was something going on, and he couldn't quite place it. As of late, he had been honing his latent magical talent, trying to discern its' limitations. As a result his senses had been honed acutely, which had alerted him to some sort of disturbance.
After grabbing a quick bite to eat, the knife-eared halfling took to the sky, centering himself for a moment. Raijin didn't consider himself a hero- in fact, he was far from it. Selfishly, he took off to investigate the strange magical energy that had flooded his senses. His intention was to try to determine if the energy he detected would have any use to him. He found that it was so potent that it actually lingered in his mouth with the taste of sulfur. Something was happening, something the youthful halfling had never seen before. He shook in anticipation, imagining the potential magical knowledge he could acquire...
As he made his way to the source of the energy, he began to detect power signatures that consisted of more intense ki energy. He imagined that several wanna be heroes had gathered at the site of the disturbance, aiming to 'save the earth' or some cliche. The only thing that interested him was the power he detected appearing near the magical signature, arriving about in unison with a shockwave and a cloud of dust and dirt.
Upon arriving within the proximity of some sort of spacecraft, Rai noticed that on either side of the strange device he could see a gathering of people. On one side, a group of folks that quite blatantly looked like mindless cultists. On the other? A bunch of... uhm, well, Raijin wasn't sure what they were. They looked goofy.
Worse than that? The swirling, ominous portal to some nether realm swirling with mad gods and tentacles. Or, Raijin presumed. So what if he read H.P Lovecraft a few too many times! Sue him! It won't be worth it, not like he had much zenni in his bank account.
Clearing his head, Rai made his way over to the spacepod, choosing to settle in with some girl who was yelling her name or something. He thought she said it was Midori, like the drink. So he spoke, addressing the female.
"... Listen, uh. Midori Sour, was it? Can you fill me in? I see the portal to summon Dagon, but I don't see Dagon. Or, uh, anyone but cultists. Should I intervene?"
Rai spoke slowly and deliberately, yet light and soft. Following his question, he eyed the strange portal in the distance, questioning its' creation. He would love to unravel something like this. The intricacies of a spell cast at this level of magical fortitude and know-how existed far beyond Raijin's current ability. Not that the potential for furtherance of his craft didn't exist, but Rai had only recently come to understand his gift.

Cipher was already within Earth’s solar system when the news made its boisterous debut on her ship’s various screens. She was somewhere around Venus at the time. With her modesty obscured with a simple towel, she was just finishing up one of her routine training sessions, emerging from the confines of her personal shower room alongside billowing clouds of steam. That was when the flashing message caught her eye and, with a quizzical expression, she slowly approached. Leaning down and placing her hands on the command board, she narrowed her vivid eyes and inspected the message. Arching a brow, the initial thing that piqued her interest was the fact the coordinates provided lead to somewhere on her homeland—Earth. Whether or not the threat was as ominous as it seemed was anyone’s guess, but the Saiyan did not intend to miss an opportunity for a fight. There was a significant lack of noble reasons behind her decided participation. Honing herself in the fires of combat, should any arise, would forge her into an even greater weapon. Additionally, she and her immediate friends had bases on there she invested far too much into to see ransacked. The stoic expression dissolved, her slight amusement expressed through lips curled into a small smirk. Her dark tail coiled around her waist while she decided what her agenda for the day would be. Pushing herself away from the command deck, her rasp voice escaped her and activated the A.I system riddled throughout her war cruiser, aptly named Mendacium. “Takes us to Earth, HK. Set course for those coordinates.” She said, garnering an immediate response from the sophisticated technology. Then, she went off to don a modified variation of her father’s weighted armor. “Certainly, miss. I wish you luck on an exciting day of meatbag hunting.”Some time later… Cipher found herself in an unfamiliar predicament. There was a very overt band of cultists, an extremely foreboding rift in space swirling like quicksand, and an excessive amount of heroes who seemed to have lost their mettle. Additionally, there was a ship somewhere between those two components along with a duo of unfamiliar individuals. Blinking, she scoffed before pushing her way past the crowd of hopefuls and towards the ship that was so Saiyan in nature it whipped up a feeling of nostalgia in her gut. As Cipher arrived before the two, she folded her arms beneath her chest. Her Saiyan tail was curled around her waist in belt-like fashion. Boasting a half-clothing, half-armor kind of outfit reminiscent of feudal Japan with a large sheath on her side, her tail and spiky hair made her Saiyan heritage extremely obvious as she elevated her chin in vague amusement. The man’s literary reference didn’t go unnoticed. “Yet, wouldn’t waiting for Dagon be far more intriguing?” Queen Kuueru Mizuri Tora | 475 words

The cultists remained ever-focused, not even bothering to bat an eye at the space pod’s overly dramatic entrance. The dust and debris that rose after impact blinded everything from view for a few moments--it weren’t until it cleared that a visibly Saiyan-esque ship sat nestled into a now disturbed earth. Webs of cracks radiated out across the grasslands, They were caused parts of the ground shifting into unnatural and jagged shapes. They ripped through the surface of the ground and radiated around the arrival’s ship.
It weren’t long before the pilot emerged from the safety of her vessel. The raven-haired woman stood tall, proclaiming her cause to the herd behind her, the cultists still had not dropped their attention on the task at hand. Like rats in a maze they desperately dug towards their end-result of conjuring a beast for their ultimate cause. Filling the world with a vision crafted by their ‘God’.
The energy that radiated from their portal was tremendous, it weighed heavily upon the psyche of those in close range and even tickling the senses of those deeper in the galaxy. It were only growing by the minute, the pool of energy trickling towards completion. Afterwards, all it will take is the word of Kouzi and her pet shall be released.
The pointed ear man arrived and took a place next to the loud woman. He was the second to arrive outside of the jokes that stood with their knees quivering. This fellow even had the nerve to interact with the woman who crashed into the freaking ground with a spacecraft. He cracked a few jokes, but then talked over tactics with his new comrade. Soon, another challenger would arrive to surplus their efforts.
Emerging from the crowd of faux heroes a new protagonist joined the party. She appeared to be from another era, her dress and style of armor archaic at best. Around her waist an obvious tail was poised. This woman’s essence whispered warrior all over--well to be frank, the entire trio did.
The dark haired feudal-esque woman joined in with the laughs, perhaps they weren’t so worried about the impending threat. All of their body languages seemed confident in their abilities, perhaps this would be an interesting affair for Kouzi after all? Or they would be yet another menace to the witch, impeding her goals once more.
The witch hovered over a ball made of glass, it reflected with visions of the scene at play on Earth. She could coordinate her magic and watch over her minions with such a device.
“Interesting, these three might prove to be some trouble”
Kouzi could sense the challenger’s auras and temperaments through her cultist’s direct link through the realms. Each seemed to be a formidable challenge to her pet---She could only hope that they hold out for her sake though.
“Hey y’all!” The chubby boy from earlier spoke up to the group. He had the knowledge of the event, but none of the cajones to attempt his ‘clever and striking’ super move to save the day.
“Maybe if you can interrupt the cultists, you could stop the summoning?” The boy’s body fashioned a makeshift wardrobe that looked as if his mother helped him create it. The costume itself wasn’t horrible, perhaps it was the grotesque fit upon his apple shaped frame.
“But, I would think they wouldn’t be unprotected. Maybe you should wait until they summon whatever it is?” It seemed the boy shared the same thoughts as the crowd as whispers could be hear of contemplation among the group of ‘heroes’. It seemed they were all too nervous to be the one to make the first move, and it be the wrong move at that.

The motley bunch assorted in front of her didn't seem all that impressive... especially for a message that spanned across the cosmos. If this was a trap it was a very disappointing one. Thankfully she didn't dwell on it long, as she was approached by a Shinjin. Her eyes lit up for a moment... and then dulled again when she realized this one wasn't her master. She really did have to get around to tracking him down again some day...
When the Shinjin addressed her as 'Midori Sour', she just blinked a few times before slouching forward and pointing towards her face. "Uh, me? N-No, I'm Mizuri." No last name given. She was stripped of her clan name when she turned her back on the pirate group she grew up with and simply never took on another. Shit happens. As he continued, she cast her gaze back to the assorted 'heroes' and scratched at the top of her head. Cultists? Portal? Dagon? She had no idea what he was talking about. Further, she was totally oblivious to the magical energy supercharging the air around them. She could barely sense Ki, much less magic.
Aaaaand then another arrived! This one a woman... and judging from the tail around her waist, she was a Saiyan as well. Albeit much smaller than Mizuri herself. She offered a curt wave, though this woman mentioned Dagon too! "...What's a Dagon? Some kinda food?" The woman briefly glanced back over her shoulder before returning her gaze to the two before her... and then quickly turned all the way around in a doubletake. Glowing green portal, a hoard of robed cultists- well, things made a whole lot more sense all of a sudden! And yet. She cupped her chin and frowned as she bladed herself towards the pair of newcomers, looking over to the crowd of weirdos behind them. "So if that's why we were called here, who are those guys?"
The question was partially answered a moment later when one of them waddled his way over to the group with a greeting. She listened to his spiel before folding her arms over her chest and frowning. She could already feel her Saiyan blood starting to heat up at the thought of letting the summoning play out so that she could fight some kind of horrifically strong extradimensional monstrosity. But on the other hand, letting the summon finish would mean putting everyone in the immediate area, and perhaps the entire planet in danger. "...Hn. I don't feel that strongly one way or the other." Sort of true. She felt strongly about both options for different reasons. But that meant they cancelled out, right? "If I end up having to be the tiebreaker, I'll vote for stopping them now but I could go either way." She grinned and punched a gloved fist into her open palm. "I'll crush these villains no matter what form they take."

Raijin listened to the young girl who revealed her name to be Mizuri speak, questioning her intellect at several points. She seemed to be more confused than he was. He ignored her line of questioning, taking a few steps forward, thinking of the options that the strange chubby boy had laid out for them. He didn't want to intervene, particularly.
Rai withdrew a small journal from his ornate robes, materializing a small pen and beginning to sketch the portal in its' intricacies and casting a basic spell to enhance the steadiness and accuracy of his hand. He wanted to capture this moment, as he imagined the ability to conjure a creature from another realm could be incredibly useful to him, potentially to the Emperor. Rai still wanted to prove his usefulness. "I vote we let the thing through. Worst case scenario, we can find some way to deal with it."
The Shinjin/Human hybrid's eyes were gleaming with a tenacious desire for understanding. He finished his sketches and put his small journal away, making sure to save a mental image of the ethereal portal. Raijin wondered who the ringleader of this whole string of events was, exactly. He felt pangs of jealousy when he thought into the strategic mind and magical experience that had gone into this conjuring.
Perhaps if things played out properly, he could find out who pulled this thing together. He could benefit from such a meeting. So, he adjusted his robes and made his way a little closer to the cultists, looking them over, searching for a leader. He also extended his magical senses, trying to pick up on a stronger magician in the mix. The massive amounts of magic swirling around the immediate area made it difficult to pick anything up in particular... Maybe the big boss wasn't even here?

After having attributed the crash landed pod to the significantly larger woman in the then trio, Cipher was not surprised that she immediately related the reference to food. Potentially courtesy of the blood coursing through her own veins, Cipher’s own appetite was well documented amongst her peers. An external look at her own habits induced a feeling not unlike looking into a mirror, but those thoughts were brought to a premature conclusion as the conversation progressed into more relevant matters. A humanoid manifestation of poor dietary choices made his way up to them, causing the raven-haired woman’s crimson eyes to dart in his direction. He proposed two ideas to them: one sat in her mind as the more brash approach to the situation. Assault the cultists because whatever they were doing seemed foreboding, or wait until the ritual was complete and deal with whatever came from it. Not only did her own Saiyan blood seethe at the opportunity of confronting something that could provide a greater challenge to her prowess, but the latter would sate her curiosity. The Earthling half of her may have even deemed it the more negotiable thing to do. And of course, the cultists very well could be protected. If they were even cultists, that is. The individual named Mizuri declared her interest in felling the cultists before their plan, whatever that may be, was executed. The other—the exclusive male of the party—cast his vote in favour of waiting for the supposed ritual to be completed. With her face vacant of an informative expression, the ruby-eyed warrior remained stoic as she regarded both of her potential allies. “I vote we let it through. We have very little information right now, let alone knowledge of what they’re doing and if it truly is a threat. If it is, we will retain the option of either confronting it with our fists or words. If we act hastily, we’ll limit our approach to a mere single choice. Maybe it will have offers, maybe it will prove negotiable...” Her words tapered off as she paused, her brow creasing slightly under a contemplative weight. She feigned apathy, but her enthusiasm for combat bled through her next series of words. “If all else fails, then we simply deal with it.”

The trio had the time to idle and chit chat, while introductions among the group were well underway--the cultists continued their ritual. The faces of the hooded figures seemed to be growing more sullen by the second. Once full cheeks began to sink into the skull. They had been putting their life energy into this summoning, and it seemed to be worth it to push themselves to the brink of death.
After salutations however, the group were rejoined by the slightly---morbidly obese hero who wore his name upon his chest. “Meat Lad”. He soon elaborated to the group that he were a sidekick for a middle-aged washed up hero by the name of “Bun Man”. Any around the boy to hear the story would surely tune him out, but he did have some conviction in his words.
“Y-You guys seem so at ease with either choice. You all must be really strong. Damn, this will be an exciting battle to participate in.” It seemed that little Meaty didn’t get the memo that he was a bit out of his league. The boy in his late teens sparkled in the eyes, he seemed totally okay with facing whatever was going to emerge out of that portal. At least he was interested in it, ...after the trio’s arrival. Perhaps he felt he might not get eaten by a hellhound with some new body guards.
Finally, the new contenders had their decision after a not-so-intense deliberation. They would wait until whatever monstrosity were summoned to the mortal plane arrived. Perhaps a dumb decision in the end? Perhaps by allowing the ritual to continue on, they would be able to filter all of their energy into it and make the beast stronger. Perhaps it made no difference at all--they wouldn’t know until---
“Wh-What’s happening?” Shouts hailed from the crowd.
Ahead one cultist lay face down in the dirt. It seemed that he had given his all to one last summoning. An ill fate indeed, but it did not bother the great witch Kouzi. She watched angrily from her hovel, her greedy eyes reflecting in the shiny surface of her crystal viewing ball.
“Damn, I hope you have enough left in you to carry on for his slack ass. FINISH THE RITUAL!” Kouzi’s voice barked telepathically to the group of cultists that were still on their feet. They eagerly continued to push out as much power as their could while their comrade lay dead on the ground. These weren’t humans anymore, no--they were but toys for the witch.
The one on the ground must have been Steve, he always straggled behind the rest at super secret demon cult school. Damn Steve.
The temperature of the air suddenly dropped twenty degrees. Oddly enough the rain decided to stop as well. The atmosphere that was already dampened with pressure from their spell doubled, no tripled with intensity and dark energy. Any normal person in the area would feel nauseous from the portals completion.
The cultists each fell to their knees, panting heavily while greedily trying to force the air back into their lungs. The portal had developed into a single white oval in the air. Suddenly, an azure hand pushed through the energy as if he were pulling himself through. The azure man stood over nine foot tall, looming over the cultists below. His hair were tied upon his head and his body shrouded in golden satin and jewelry. He held a trident of the same hue in one hand.
Afterwards, two other figures lurked behind the first. The next a woman in crimson and gold accents. Her complexion was similar to that of a nut, and she too had the outrageous amount of upper extremities as her comrade.
Finally, a non-human of sorts. The blue giant appeared with the head of an Earth’s elephant, his body however resembled Shiva's; stained blue like the sea. He grunted and held a small hatchet ready in grip. It appeared he wasn't of as many words as his two companions.
Irritated, the male named Shiva, held up a single palm. A blazing gold ball of energy rotated chaotically before hurling towards “Meat Lad” and incinerating him whole.
“We are here to force our prophet’s prophecy. We hope you will submit.” Shiva, the gold clad humanoid chimed in. He spoke a threat with such eloquence. “If you do not submit, well---you should.” A smile played on the man’s lips as he looked on to the trio and pile of dust that were formerly a heavy-set lad.
The entire crowd from behind them began to run. They pushed and trampled some of their ally who weren’t the most fit. A few beaten bodies remain, simply of the human’s innate will to live. It would be sad to inform their families of that casualty.
“You three--- you feel different. You will be powerful assets to the cause?” Durga the woman spoke, her fiery red eyes locking onto two Saiyan and their halfling friend.
“And you, you feel disgusting.” The woman addressed the Shinjin of the group, feeling his energy from beyond their arrival through the portal.
“There is no welcoming for you, little one.” She chuckled before turning towards the cultists who clung to life. With a wave of her hand the last of their energy were drawn from their bodies and transferred into the three evil beings.

Raijin eyed the three towering individuals with skepticism as they emerged from the portal, a disgusting energy lingering in the air. They spoke of a prophecy. They dropped some threats. Overall, it was a bit as Raijin expected of some sort of wanna-be Gods emerging out of a portal. Especially since this one seemed to siphon life energy, exhibited by the death of Steve, that random cultist. Poor, poor Steve. Not to mention they showed no remorse when incinerating Meat-Lad. Clearly they had little regard for life.
Rai almost lost interest. Until one of them adressed him- calling him disgusting. Raijin looked himself up and down, confused. Until he realized, they could be referring to his unknown lineage. "Disgusting, eh? What do you mean?" he inquired, greed inspiring his cocky grin. Perhaps they could serve to enlighten him as to his heritage.
Rai was unsure. Still, he felt skeptical. A thin magical aura began to envelop him as he watched them drain the life energy from the rest of the cultists rather effortlessly. The hybrid's eyes widened at the scale of the slaughter. He had never seen such a mass killing before...
"And why is there no welcoming from you lot of murderers, eh? Not that I condemn you; I'll admit you've piqueed my curiousity."

Very Big Sean made his verbal addition once more, though it hardly garnered the attention of the crimson Saiyan. With his paltry amount of power, she wondered if he would do his moniker justice and offer himself up as an adequate meat shield in the event of him actually participating in the potential upcoming bout. If he insisted on getting in the way, she perceived that as the lone contribution he could make for the greater good they so desperately yearned to promote. Before she could make further mental note, she noticed that something atrocious was brewing. It started with the very first loss of life. One of the cultists had perished, seemingly having given his all towards the ritual. In essence, a weakling; food meant to be consumed by whatever monstrosity lurked behind the foreboding rift in space. Despite their friend expiring far too quickly, they did not waver. She watched mildly impressed with their dedication, sensing the spike of energy in the air as they pooled their efforts presumably towards extracting a foreign being into that plane of existence. Had Steve been a little more devoted to his training, mayhaps he would have been able to feast his eyes on the malicious debut. The sudden drop in temperature did not go unnoticed by the Saiyan. Imperceptible hairs on her body stood on end, and the hair on her tail bristled from the insidious properties of the energy wafting wildly throughout the air. While she did not feel crippled to the extent of the fragile denizens around them, she could feel it in her bones. Her expression changed slightly, her brow furrowing as she scrutinized the birth of an unforeseen triad. Looking at the white oval in the air took priority over the exhausted cultists in its wake. An azure hand seeped through, pulling his way out until his satin draped form was revealed. Tied hair, a surplus of jewellery; already Cipher was wondering just what it was they were feasting their eyes on. Two other figures of immense power hailed thereafter, and she raised her head slowly in acknowledgment of the insidious energy she felt. A woman dressed similarly to the last entity, and then something that left her reminiscent of an Elephant—a blue bipedal one. In moments, she witnessed the incineration of 2trayz via a blazing sphere of chaotic energy. The crowd vacated the premises. They went as far as revealing their inner self-absorbed natures by trampling those they temporarily regarded as their heroic brethren. Cipher snorted as she glanced at them momentarily, before turning her attention back towards the trio parallel to her own makeshift party. The cultists were ultimately disposed of, and she was left with their group’s first reaction. And, with a nod, she decided to make her addition. “To add to that, I will admit my curiosity has been piqued as well. Prophecy? What is this cause you speak of? You mentioned that we would be assets.” Queen Kuueru Tora Mizuri

The trio of stoic creatures seemed ever so content with their destruction thus far. While they seemed to kill mindlessly, they allowed the group of heroes before them to get a few words in edgewise. Yes, they would be significant additions to Kouzi’s cause, but they didn’t seem like the group to follow orders. The witch grew wary of the pair who seemed to want to thwart her plans.
The smoke finally settled from Meat-Lad’s pile of dust, and the three demon gods stood prepared to attack or be attacked. Their eyes did not seem to fret or fear a challenge.
“You, are not welcome. You were born of the fruit---you must be destroyed, slowly.” Shiva belted out, his trident pointed towards the shinjin threateningly. He intended to use it, the bloodlust rising in his ironically serene eyes. Something about him being so eloquent before decapitating a person was unnerving. Hopefully that would be a fate that the heroes didn’t have to face.
Durga, the female fixated her attention on the Saiyan who questioned their God’s prophecy, and also the assets to be provided for their cooperation. Yes, demons weren’t the most organized bunch, but the mystic Kouzi could always use more pawns in her collection. The witch’s eyes lit up when the raven woman even considered joining a random demon cult. Her heritage was true, Saiyans siding with what would lead them to power. She continued watching from the shadows, her part soon to come into play.
“Our prophecy is that of the destruction of the Kais. In order to fully bring this world into ultimate chaos, we must remove such useless mediators. They sit there, thinking they can control every aspect, and keep everything in order. True order is that of the survival of the fittest, be it whatever species they are. All of us have chaos stained in our souls.”
The god wrapped in crimson replied earnestly to Cipher, but soon her face shifted, her human-esque optics shifting to a solid raven. Next, the entire trio erupted in onyxian flames, the demonic power rippling through their bodies as they prepared their onslaught. The thickness of the air was intense, and their focus ever-intimidating to anyone. Soon they would see exactly what threat they were dealing with.
“But now, we have to make sure you are worth our time--and dispose of this pest.” Shiva chuckled and glared at the half-Shinjin.
Ganesha stood as stoic as ever, his elephant head staring intently before his face shifted to pure dread. He began drooling at the mouth, his trunk tooting sounds of pain and power. His attempt was to immobilize the stronger of the two in her steps. He could only intimidate a person so much however--but he doubted he would need a second time.
“First, a test of your reflexes. Try and keep up.” Shiva laughed, his trident still aimed on the pair. At the center-most tip a golden bean began to form. A barrage of the golden ki flooded the space between the two opposing sides. In an instant the balls of energy attempted to pelt the pair. He laughed maniacally, the orbs that didn’t hit drudging into the ground and exploding on contact. The very battlefield would at least get to see some action whether or not they miss their marks. For reasons unknown to Raijin, the creatures shunned him, threateningly pointing weapons at him and insulting him. "Borne of the fruit, you say? And because of it I have to be destroyed?" Rai scowled at then, electricity crackling around him. These guys were the real deal. Strong. They spoke of a prophecy- destroying the 'Kais', bringing the world into chaos. Rai liked chaos and all that, it was great for gambling. But this whole destruction business was no good. No good at all. Especially when it started with him. The halfling felt a funny feeling in his gut as the trio continued to speak, Rai beginning to ignore them. It was time to be observant, and prepared. If Cipher didn't just betray him, she'd be doing the heavy lifting for this fight... He watched as the elephant one began to drool, as its visage darkened, its gaze settling on the girl. He looked away, finding the beast revolting. Suddenly, Rai felt a burst of energy gathering. It gathered rapidly, churning and bubbling with golden energy. It fired off so quickly, Rai didn't have time to defend himself initially, the salvo smashing into his unguarded body. His robes charred and his expression pained, the shinjin hybrid narrowly avoided the rest of the blasts, panting with frustration and discomfort as he did. This was not going good already. Right now Rai felt like he should counteract and go on the offensive, punishing his opponent with superior power. But that wasn't something he was capable of, being so outclassed. He had a few tricks, though. First things first, he intended to at least seal the trios' actions. It wasn't like this spell was all-powerful, but it was effective nine times out of ten! Normally, he'd only be capable of targetting one person with this spell. There was so much ambient magic here, swirling and bubbling, Rai took advantage of it, casting the spell on a larger scale than he normally found himself capable. He settled his hand into position in front of his beating heart, fingertips extended upwards. Clouds gathered above the trio, and Rai began infusing them with the properties of his magic. Thunder reverberated through the landscape, and rain began to fall. If the drops were fortunate enough to touch the trio, they would feel their energy leave them over time, the drops imbued with a crippling effect. Their muscles would tense up and they would exert themselves further through simple actions. From their Rai lifted his hand up, eyeing the Elephant menacingly. From this range he normally wouldn't be capable of much... but with the storm he had just summoned? Rai grinned as he infused his magic with some ki, displacing it into the cloud. He brought his hand down and laughed, a few bolt of lightning descending in an unnatural arcing slash towards the strange elephant man. "Shocking Slash!" BATTLE TRACKER

When the man was referenced by the satin veiled entity again, Cipher turned an attentive eye towards him. The continued distaste in this individual aroused some modicum of suspicion towards what he may be. Currently, Cipher was none the wiser to what the minute details meant such as being born of the fruit. However, it and his ears alluded to him not being quite from the same plane as them rest of them. It was a curious thing, but not something that held high priority on her list of mysteries to explore right now. The woman of the triad focused on her and revealed the prophecy Cipher yearned to know more about. When she heard about the destruction of the Kais, she thought in retrospect to their obsession with eliminating the man adjacent to her. Did that mean he was somehow related to these alleged entities? They sought to plunge the world into chaos and let it be simple survival of the fittest. She could feel her blood burning with vigor in her veins as she mused over a philosophy similar to her own. Her stoic visage shifted, her lips spreading into a small smirk. “You’ll get no disagreement from me. Complacency and order is but a way to cultivate weakness. Only in embracing chaos and adversity have I tasted power.” Cipher chipped in with her own wisdom, the smile ghosting her lips subsiding as she sobered. She remembered being weak; it set her on a quest for vengeance because of her inability to oppose what possessed more strength than herself. Her Saiyan blood, when excited, practically sported an inebriating effect that she currently did not care to keep in check. Yet even still, she would have to face off with these entities anyway in order to demonstrate her prowess. That was fine with her. “Good, anything else would be boring…”It was then that her attention was drawn to the elephant-esque entity. A revolting sight to say the least, but one she found herself unable to tear her attention from as though shackled by some kind of unseen force. An unfathomable sense of dread washed over her, crimson eyes widened as she peered towards the entity. She shook her head and renewed her mettle, but felt like this insidious technique would linger with her for a frustrating amount of time. Excited as she was to fight, she could not be reckless, and she needed to work in unison with the man in order to secure victory. After getting her bearings, she found herself targeted by the more humanoid man. Golden balls of energy were fired towards them indiscriminately, and Cipher was too occupied with the eccentric feeling permeating her veins to move out of the way in time. She was blasted away twice, skidding across the ground before bringing herself to a stop. The conclusive blast of gold shot towards her was mitigated by both her robotic and organic arm, but she still felt the impact through her body. Pushing herself back up, ribbons of lightning started to encase her frame. If she was taking hits like that, she needed to be prepared. Immediately, she felt a sharp pain throughout her body as she committed to the action. Something was wrong, and it was probably because of the elephant earlier. Scoffing under her breath, she furrowed her brow and maintained her composure while gripping the hilt of her sword. Pressing a button on her sheath, it ejected the demonic blade high into the air before she caught it in her synthetic hand. A crimson katana, or perhaps it would be better described of some excessive variant of a nodachi, measuring at roughly nine feet long. She eyed the actions of her ally as she did, noticing that he may have just created a good opportunity for her to chop them down as much as she could. Even if she was not sure of the effects of his attack, maybe it would fare well as a distraction. Odd though—was this man capable of manipulating the very sky itself? Cipher suddenly rocketed towards her first aggressor, the elephant who condemned her with some kind of curse. At first, she attempted to lunge her sword through its side, before she swung it diagonally towards its trunk. Spinning around, she made an attempt to cleave its legs and compromise its mobility. “Any so-called holy beast that lingers on living like a normal mortal is of no use to us anyhow.” Shiva barked towards the Shinjin. The diety’s eyes fell shut and a queer smile spread across his visage. He was overly calm for the situation at hand, that was if this ground was supposed to be a threat. With only two warriors to try and challenge them they wondered if the mortal realm was filled with idiots.
Ganesha’s scare tactics seemed to be holding, although the Saiyan appeared ready to attack or defend, she moved as if pain wracked her body with every step. The Gods all seemed pleased, watching as a few of the golden orbs dug into the Shinjin and shoved him back a few meters, the same was happening for the dark haired woman as well.
These demons did not play when it came to landing on a target. With precision like that of a surgeon his blasts all seemed to be hitting their marks---except for the last one aimed at the Shinjin, he managed to skert out of the way last minute. Interesting.
“Ahh, so you like to hide too? What about you girl? Are you still eager in allying with us?” The female in red uttered through the chilly damp air.
Now, the pair wanted to retaliate. Shiva knew this, as well as his companions. They braced themselves and waited as the Shinjin began initiating some mystic ritual. Despite his charred robes, his vitality still appeared to be in tact. Durga’s eyes concentrated on Raijin’s hands, trying to observe his odd dance which caused the skies above began to quake and rumble. Their eyes all focused on the lightning riddled atmosphere. After the first quake of thunder, the rain fell and saturated them all thoroughly.
The fatigue quickly set in. It felt as if their bodies weren’t renewing their ki fast enough to keep up. They would need to be careful about taking anymore blows from here on out. Could it be, the Gods were not putting forth enough effort in this fight?
“Ugh, That spell is malicious, I will most certainly have your head now.” Shiva shouted, his eyes turning a bit less ‘chill’ by the second. It seemed all of them ailed after the spring shower, whatever the Shinjin did they would be sure to repay his efforts. With death.
In a brilliant light, a single bolt of electricity shot down and engulfed the group like a Final Fantasy Aeon Overdrive. However, when the light vanished and smoke remain, the trio still stood unaffected. The look on their faces was still eerily stoic... besides the random time where they screamed words of insanity. Like Shiva, who seemed to be getting more unraveled by the second.
“Is that it Shinjin? Man, aren't these guys boring?” Durga questioned both parties; if the boy hadn’t grasped the concept of his ancestors by now, he may be better off dead. There wasn’t room in the world for ignorance on such a level, it only made you weaker. Weakness was not in their long term success plan.
Cipher had chimed in with her opinion of weakness before the attack.
Durga chuckled in response and pulled a small mirror from behind her back. She flashed it in the direction of Raijin, perhaps after the fruit boy were handled they could actually conduct business with Kouzi involved.
“You get it girl. Once you taste the fruit, you keep craving more. But, it also makes you a target.” Shiva spoke up this time, his trident waving wildly as he seemed to be enjoying the conversation. The Saiyan had since pulled herself off of the ground from their onslaught, her body seemed to flicker to life with energy still. The trio marveled, Ganesha even letting out a loud snort. It seemed they were eager to see how both mortals would perform under pressure.
It was the woman’s turn now. Her blade was revealed and hurdled through the air, it was sleekly tucked away moments earlier. As Cipher caught the hilt it was clear she was going to use the advantage that the halfling put into play.
Shiva scowled as he tried to picture what happened next. She moved with impressive speed, Ganesha her target. It was obvious the Saiyan still held a grudge from his earlier curse. She stabbed towards his side. He barely side-stepped to avoid the eviscerating slash. Ganesha took a slash to the trunk, roaring out with a loud bellow. As the bright purple blood spewed from his wound the woman’s blade would seem to burn within her grip. Another slash towards the legs connected, again the same pain would be felt by Cipher.
Ganesha stood upright, pleading with his eyes towards his companions. They had to do something, and do it quickly before he were poached like a real elephant. He now occupied one of his many arms to suppress the blood flowing from his trunk.
Durga gazed towards Raijin, her lips curving into a sinister smile. With the wave of a hand, a tiny crimson ribbon of energy whispered through the air towards Raijin. Once he inhaled it, he would seem entranced by the woman for a while. Perhaps even influencing his decision to avoid her attacks---how exciting.
Ganesha again let out a roar that seemed to scream agony. All five of his free hands began to glow with a chilly looking aura. He began to sling a few of the subzero aura’s at the pair in rage. They whipped and cut through the air like butter, seemingly fueled by an enormous rage. If they hit they would feel the true darkness of demon power. Fresh from the demon realm these beasts still used the remains of the powerful energy that flourish there.
Shiva jumped towards the group his trident tight in hand. It rippled to life with a black flame that would intimidate most. His body disappeared, but he was moving towards them. He wasn’t only fast--the power that rippled from his trident was insane and deafening. In a flurry of barrages the deity attempted to stab the midsection of Cipher with the draining energy of the trident. Like desperately trying to stab a meatball with a fork, Shiva aimed for her torso. Finally content, he returned to his group with a graceful hop backwards; the look upon his face was now borderline insane.
“HahahHahHAAh. What fun. You will know why they call me the destroyer fools.”

There's a moment when you realize your real use in a fight. Sometimes, it's after you've seen how strong you are- the moment an opponent is grovelling at your feet, begging for mercy. In this moment? Rai was at best supportive. Once again he saw himself completely outclassed. He pondered his lineage once more, thinking of the references to 'the fruit'. Rai had picked up that he was not of this realm. But... something more was at hand. These were creatures from another plane. That meant that Raijin hailed from another realm as well. It was almost overwhelming. If not for the fact his life was at stake, Rai would've stopped and gone into a deep contemplative reflection. Hell, he may have become a better person. But there would be no time for that. Raijin felt himself fall under the influence of a strange curse, his actions feeling hindered towards the demonic deity Durga. Magic was a pain. His spells were low in comparison to this one. His arms felt hesitant to move when he tried to defend himself. Rai felt a strange aura wash over him, cold and malevolent. His body was wracked with pain as he was assailed by his foes, and he barely managed to phase away from the epicenter of the demonic technique. During this time, another curse had befallen him. When his enemies' mirror was flashed towards him, his strength had felt stunted, as if he could hardly catch his breath. Rai could barely guard himself as he felt the strength of the demonic aura assail him. Enraged, Rai began to crackle and hiss with electrical energy. The burning plasma shimmered as it gathered in his palm, Rai left contorted in pain from the attempt. "What kind of..." Rai grunted out, frustrated with the magic that they were using. Still, it was a learning experience. They were leagues ahead of Raijin- but they were nothing compared to Lute, or Polaris. So, Rai targeted Ganesha and laughed, if only to keep up appearances. As he did, he allowed his own healing energy to wash over himself, weaving two spells at once. "Shocking slash!" He proclaimed once again. As he did, arcs of lightning shot from his fingertips towards the elephant deity, Rai aiming to knock the weakened one around at least a little bit. BATTLE TRACKER

If Cipher had to pick something she enjoyed about melee combat the most, it was the feeling of landing with her attacks that could not be attributed to attack from afar. Feeling the elephant’s flesh succumb to the razor edge of her malicious instrument filled her with excitement, her expressionless face unchanging except for the marginal widening of her eyes. However, something uncanny occurred when she landed her blow. Holding on her blade felt as though she were gripping a soldering iron, and she gritted her teeth in order to bear it. When she followed up and swung for its legs, she was greeted by the same sensation. This allowed the Saiyan to ascertain something about these creatures; like herself, hitting them seemed to result in suffering damage. This meant that she needed to use her defenses wisely, even if they would result in agony just to mount, and pour on the pressure to the best of her ability. She was excellent at finding openings in the defenses of others. One good hit and she was able to exploit their moment of vulnerability, showering them with attacks that made up for their usually low output with high volume. And as much as it literally pained her to do it, she knew she needed to start on an offense. As dire as the situation was, Cipher was still thrilled. Pushing backward and gaining some space, she brought her crimson blade just before her face. Her eyes never detoured from Ganesha while she slowly ran her tongue up the flat side of her weapon, literally lapping the amethyst blood off of it. The observant may notice that her power continued to steadily rise as the bout went on, expanding around her in circles that distorted the colouration of the environment around her. Her partner was starting to take damage, and while she was not sure what the overall outcome of the conflict would be after the battle, she needed to work alongside him right now in order to endure this onslaught. The idea popped into her mind that if he were to come under fire again, she needed to do something about it. The effects he was riddling them with were highly useful to her current ambition—winning. Before she could pay too much attention, she abruptly came under fire from a wrathful Ganesha. As the virulent assault cut through the air, the most she could do at that moment was to minimize the incoming damage. Brandishing her arms in front of her, she felt frigidity slice into her, the very darkness itself seeping into her bones. Crude as it may have been, as she was lambasted with brutal attacks the lone thought in her mind was if she could find a means of harnessing this power for herself. Shiva’s assault she dealt with less ideally. The only thing she could do was bring the blade between herself and the trident in order to present it from going completely through her. In spite of that, she still felt the taste of copper in her mouth and a feeling as though her life was being siphoned away. The Saiyan pushed herself back, her eyes wild as she regarded each of the demons before her. As mentioned prior, she needed to exploit the opening before it shut completely. But after that, she would need to act sparingly or suffer the consequences. “Perhaps, but if you insist on this preliminary bout foremost…” Cipher spat out a wad of blood onto the ground. Even though her target was Ganesha, her eyes were on Shiva as she spoke. A reply to his own insane quip. ”I will show you the might of Saiyans.”Cipher held the sword over shoulder with the tip facing Ganesha, her attention shifting back. She kept the other hand under it as though she were aiming before she shot in the injured demon’s direction once again. Raijin had already made an attempt to beat it down more, and now it was her turn. The first attack was another lunge, this time attempting to plunge it straight through its stomach. Pulling back, she swung towards its trunk in an attempt to finish the job, and then two more times in an attempt to form an ‘X’ across its body. Even that additional movement wrought her body with pain, but she pressed on. Finally, she spun around with her sword and unleashed a crescent of bladed energy all around her, threatening to cleave into all of her foes at the same time. The curses laid upon the shinjin seemed to stick. His body shifted dramatically in a matter of minutes. The trio of glowing black eyes fixated on their targets. They were killing machines after all, what was two more mortals? It should come with ease to such powerful demon gods.
Raijin whom Durga had inflicted with curses appeared to be on the offensive again despite their attempts to calm him. The tan skinned deity scowled at his diligence. Perhaps if the boy weren’t such a filthy race they would reconsider their decision to ally with him. Not that Raijin would have accepted such an allegiance.
Cipher spoke up as they both prepared themselves for the offensive. She spat blood after the fierce trident of Shiva ripped at her torso. Just watching the act were gorey enough, but the red that painted the ground reiterated the moment before. Surely someone would have died from such an attack, but no---this was a Saiyan.
“Might of Saiyans eh? I’m intrigued. If you survive, I will bellow the race’s name as a superior group of individuals.” Shiva chuckled, his grin stretching from ear to ear while a crimson liquid pooled and dripped from his spear.
The man engulfed in electricity began weaving another spell. A bit of vigor returned to his eyes afterwards, and then came his announcement. Shocking Slash? What was it with heroes and yelling their attack names? It was so cliche. At least come up with something cooler.
Ganesha was targeted again, they seemed to attack the injured member of the pack. Maybe, Ganesha would fall if the pair maned to keep themselves alive through another attack. The elephant god huffed through his trunk as he bucked his head at the oncoming assault. Raijin shot some force lightning shit at the azure deity, it seeped into his skin, stopping the beast in its tracks. Ganesha let out a roar, but Cipher was quickly coming behind the Shinjin to try and slay the demon.
Ganesha was prepared this time, he wouldn’t be fooled by the woman’s speed twice. As Cipher approached and swiped her blade the elephant seemed to shift away just out of her reach. One, two, no…. three of the vicious swipes he were agily able to avoid. However, another reached toward his body and cut deep into his muscular chest. The satin robes that hung over one shoulder were cut loose, and more purple blood burst from the wound. The elephant god’s chest heaved with great distress, a clear wheeze of blood and air gurgled through his trunk. He was tired, clearly going to be down for the count with a few more attacks.
“You want to kill my son first? How rude.” Shiva barked before motioning his weapon towards Durga.
“Let’s hurry up and end this please.” He barked before ordering the other two to prepare their attacks. A pair of fire-engulfed daggers materialized in Durga’s grasp. Ganesha prepared with a hatchet in each of his six hands, ready to use them after his last injury.
Ganesha moved first, hurling two round of hatchets towards the group. They may scatter, or he may miss--but it would make more of an opportunity for his companions to hit their mark as well.
Shiva stayed back this time, his index and middle finger aiming a single beam at the pair, it ripped towards the ground at their feet, following, the ground below them would explode afterward from the seam created.
Durga would finish up by sneaking in towards the end. Her quick blades slashed wildly at the two, aiming to at least do a minimal bit of damage.

Raijin felt he couldn't lose his momentum. Moments like this were defining, beyond just as a man, but as a warrior- something he very much aspired to be. Despite the curses that still were very much weakening him, Rai kept his body as prepared as he could. He imagined he wouldn't be able to sustain such a pace for long. He felt his power waning. Right now it was a gamble- something Raijin loved, actually. The idea of betting everything did more than just excite him. It roused something primal inside of the hybrid, a hunger of sorts. The same greed that he had nurtured in times of solitude. An avarice that perhaps the demons would find enchanting, as his eyes twisted with calculating madness. Right now, if this was a horse race he wasn't the winning bet. He found the girl, the Saiyan, had a better chance of eviscerating these heathens with utmost efficiency. Rai would provide the enthusiasm. Not to mention the support that someone would need, so long as his heart still beat and the gambit could continue. Rai's thoughts were racing, until he heard Shiva's rather unique voice. "You want to kill my son first? How rude." he seemed to suggest to Raijin, Rai instinctively fiddling with a ring on his left hand. The halfling muttered something under his breath, and suddenly all of Ganesha's injuries would be exacerbated. As he did this, he put a little faith in his trump card, tossing a jolt of electricity at Cipher with a slick smile, as if he had just placed a bet. This would heal a few minor wounds and stop some internal bleeding. "Let's put our best hand out..." he muttered, agitated at his inept strength. He just had cheap tricks at his disposal. But it still kind of got him excited. The knife-eared halfling refocused as he overheard them decide to end it. Just as quickly, the assault began. Ganesha threw twin hatchets towards them, Rai narrowly avoiding a devastating blow at the cost of his stamina. That was why Shiva's golden beam slammed into him, pushing him towards Durga. Rai barely managed to guard himself as one of her blades slashed into his forearm, nearly cutting to the bone. Blood spewed from the injury, and Rai grimaced. His aura burst around him, crackling with lightning as he tried to melt his opponent who was hopefully still close enough to be burned by the plasma strike. Now shit was getting real. BATTLE TRACKER

Cipher expected that after that initial attack that nearly removed Ganesha’s trunk from his face he would take precautions the next time she came for him. Still, the creature’s speed alarmed her to some extent as it shattered any stereotype normally attributed to the animal it was relevant to. However, she did manage to slice into his chest and release another vigorous spurt of violet blood. The Saiyan’s proximity with the aberration caused her to be decorated in much of the spatter, which was something she did not appear to mind or bat an eye at. She was nearly expressionless aside from the unquenchable rage stowed in her crimson eyes. After her display, she pushed back on her foot and retreated. The idea was to charge in, attack, and then make her way back in an attempt to minimize how much damage she took. While she was more durable than some, she could make the best out of her defense by trying to be as slippery as she could be as well. Hearing Shiva bark at her in mild protest of her merciless assault on what was supposedly his son, Cipher narrowed her eyes. Even though she felt like her entrails were at risk of falling out, she was able to speak with cold anger in response. Cipher watched while, suddenly, Raijin did something to the elephant man before tossing electricity in her direction. Some of her injuries were mended, and she breathed a sigh of relief. In addition, it restored some of her morale. She drew her crimson eyes towards the “father” once more, the rage in her eyes encroaching upon the territory of insane. “I guess you’ll have to make a fucking new one.” Cipher spat in response, holding her massive weapon at her side while drawing laboured breaths. Cipher eyed each one of them as they prepared their attack. The woman boasted a pair of flame-touched daggers, the elephant creature she was attempting to eliminate drew a surplus of battle-ready hatchets, and Shiva still seemed to have that disagreeable trident in possession. Immediately, she got ready to take more evasive tactics this time around. If she kept allowing them to get a steady flow of damage on her while they had the numbers advantage, the battle was as good as lost. Two rounds of hatchets were whipped in their direction, and Cipher quickly performed a series of backflips in order to elude. She did not have enough time to look at how they embedded in the ground with force before her attention was drawn towards the next attack, this time from the father. A precise beam was fired at the two of them, and Cipher did her best to jump and roll to the side, tumbling before quickly getting back to her feet. Whirling herself around just in time to see the woman lunging at her deliriously with her knives, she blocked what she could with her sword, but felt a searing pain in her limbs, blood slinging across the ground from what strikes found purchase. Pushing away, she caught her breath. Raijin was looking worse for wear, meaning she was going to have to find an opportunity to help him. As he sprung into action, so did she. Assuming the same pose as earlier, she made an intriguing distinction. Her aura flared into existence, an infernal mess of fuschia and red before dispersing. A large dragon of crimson energy soared around her and then her blade in preparation to be unleashed against her enemies. She then charged towards the wounded elephant god with a vengeance, choosing this time to lead with three lunges. However, the third one was different than the rest, her lunge guided by an energy dragon that cloaked her sword. A modification of her technique Dragon Fist was made, attempting to literally slam it through the creature with her sword as the medium. Queen Kuueru Tora BATTLE TRACKERAttack Phase.
