Ganesha had seen better days. The god moved with a slow that seemed almost an illusion to the eye. His body was sluggish, almost as if he were drunken. The trio of demons had managed to keep the pair apprehended for a bit more, but soon they would come clean of such curses.
The opposing side the battlefield was a mess. Littered with giant shards of uprooted earth and numerous burning patches of grass, this was the scene of something great. The duo was showing their wounds, the woman barely containing her entrails, and the other cursed into oblivion, but they persisted still.
Durga began chanting an incantation as if in preparation for something. She had a great distraction with Ganesha giving his body and soul to the cause. She chuckled before a rippling black aura poured from her eyes like running mascara.
Somehow, with a simple whisper, the elephant mutant seemed to seize up in pain. A mixture of snot, spit and violet blood painted the ground before his feet. He tried to shake the pain, and soon thereafter fell to one of his knees.
“G-Guh. Father. These mortals are no joke, take...caution.” Ganesha mumbled a last message; he prepared to defend himself to the end. The first words to escape the bloodied mouth of Ganesha was a plea to his father. A dying bidding. Shiva shook his head, his manic actions too progressed to worry with the other male god.
The pointy eared hero managed to at least keep the Saiyan pushing through with his odd healing electricity. Though, it couldn’t be said if anything could fix Cipher beyond a hospital.
Shiva had been focusing intently on the pair’s every move and interaction. They were working together, he could only assume that they had known each other ahead of time unlike the massive crowd of strangers from earlier.
Many of the original conglomeration of heroes had all arrived from different areas in the galaxy. Hardly any of them would want to admit it to their families where they were either. They all came in clusters hoping to make it big so they didn’t have to explain to their families anymore.
Another attack slammed into Ganesha and attempted to sear his thick skin. He shrugged off the pain, but his eyes were fluttering back into his odd-shaped skull.
“Finish it fools!” The elephant pleaded with the heros this time. His formerly black eyes were now a dull blue. He fell to his hands, now on---all fours, sixes or... eights.
Cipher came in hot, shouting about her imminent killing blow. This would be her moment to steal the show. She had avoided his hatchets and now was ready to shoot off some fireworks.
The Saiyan warrior charged with a look in her eyes that could only illicit fear. Ganesha lowered his head, not daring to look the dragon in the face as it engulfed him. Ultimately the blade impaled his skull and brain stem, making the most awful sounds of crushed bone and fluids. The god fell limp on her weapon, weighing it down before the resistance disappeared.
In a dance of soul-like whisps the former god Ganesha wilted away before their eyes.
Durga yelped in pain but still managed to get off her incantation as a bit of the dragon aura from Cipher’s attack bled into her right side. The woman clad in crimson scoffed, three floating grimoires floating around her body with maleficent energy and auras. The Goddess then directed them towards Raijin, aiming to yet again curse his pour soul, perhaps even take his sight?
The two remaining demon’s bodies flickered to life with electrical energy, much like Cipher’s earlier aura. They would now do even more damage back to their foes.
Shiva yawned, waving his trident again in the hero's direction. Another barrage of golden orbs hurled towards them. Meanwhile Durga whistled, causing two large tigers to manifest. They both growled with vigor before lunging and swiping at Cipher, and then Raijin for what seemed like a minute.

Rai felt relief when one of the false deities died. It was like a jacuzzi bath- relaxing, wet and most importantly messy. Raijin. watched as the creature withered into a lifeless husk. One outta three. Not bad. But it was time to get to work- they were putting in quite a troublesome amount of effort to see them both to their graves. The knife ear had to return the favor. Before Rai could act, Shiva assailed him with a barrage. It had been weaker than before, and Rai had managed to sidestep it after a few blasts struck, minimizing the damage he took. Perhaps the demon had lost focus, or perhaps Raijin was simply prepared. A moment later, Durga materialized a tiger. It began swinging haphazardly at Rai, the halfling managing to avoid the assault with an uncanny grace. He felt himself cringe as the curses that assailed him reminded him of his frailty. At any moment he could be incapacitated. The very notion left him bitter, and frustrated. He hissed a sigh of contempt, eyeing the deities. They had done him a favor. Insight into his heritage had been provided- now felt like an amicable time for an interrogation. He turned to Cipher, hoping she would understand. Afterall, he could feel her Saiyan avarice- the desire for combat, for power. He felt drunk off of it. Between that and the fighting, its a wonder he wasn't completely inebriated. "Tell me..." the Shinjin hybrid huffed out. "What fruit do you speak of? You lot seem to know something about me that I'm ignorant of. Plus, I seem to have outlasted one of you. I'm at least more of a deity than him! You see, I'm an orphan. I've lived on this planet since I was a boy. Alone. So whatever heritage you think I claim, you can shove it back through the portal you crawled out of! There's no love lost there." The hybrid crackled with a malicious rage. He was, frankly, pissed. He really wasn't a hero. He might've sold the Earth out if they even offered him a job. Rai wasn't known for his strict moral code. To him, existance was just that. To exist! No matted matter the cost. Simple. He would betray anyone, murder anything and bet against all odds against one person- number one! Himself! Lightning generated from magic and ki bubbled and he molded its shape. As if he was Zeus, he held onto pure lightning and tossed a barrage straight towards the remaining pair. As he did, clouds gathered overhead, rain beginning to fall. Round two of his subtle spell from earlier. BATTLE TRACKER

The feeling of the entity’s body slackening against her weapon and frame did more than wash her over with a wave of relief. She felt a rush the moment she stole the demonic anomaly’s life. Her Saiyan blood burned with excitement the moment she indulged in the insidious practice and delivered unto her brain a feeling, not unlike a drug-induced rush. Ashamed as the Earthling part of her may have been to admit it, the loud crunching of bone and the skewering of flesh were like music and ignited pleasure receptors in her brain like stricken matches. For Cipher, the battle became nothing more than a means of sublimating her urges and getting her fix. While the entity dissolved into spiritual plumes, Cipher turned an unstable eye towards the two remaining demons. The thrill of battle was still present. She did not know whether or not she would be able to claim the lives of the remaining opposition, but she was filled with enthusiasm at the prospect of trying and the euphoria she would dine upon should she be successful. Crimson eyes eventually detoured until they locked onto the female of the former trio. Wearing the most damage from their assault marked her as the highest priority. But before that Cipher knew retaliation was on the horizon. Witnessing a technique similar to her own at play as the demon’s body coursed with electricity, she knew that she was going to be at a disadvantage. However, she could not let that discourage her. The dragon circled around her and her blade once again while she prepared for the next onslaught. Perhaps it was Shiva’s lack of motivation at that moment that caused the potency of the attack to not reach the levels she felt before. Cipher’s form was peppered with the golden projectiles, pushing her back slightly but mostly being resisted by the tenacious Saiyan. The second attack came in the form of Durga conjuring a pair of large tigers and sending them in their direction. The first attack she managed to mitigate with her sword. The creatures unleashed another slew of attacks over the span of a minute that she managed to elude by a series of acrobatics ranging from flips to side and backsteps. Cipher heard her partner out as he spoke to the demons. To some extent, she understood the non-verbal cue that proceeded it, but possessed little in terms of questions she wanted to ask. If these creatures still wanted to test her ability after she already killed one of them, then she would continue to off them until whatever remained finally understood what a boon she could be to a cause should she be offered the right amount of rewards. Namely, power. Wordlessly finding an opening in the offense to pounce, she launched herself towards Durga. At that point the Saiyan was much like a machine set to dismantle whatever she perceived as a threat. The first two strikes were the same motions that had slain Ganesha, lunging motions attempting to gore the demon through with her extensive blade. The third attack was a slash that came crashing down diagonally in an attempt to cleave through the opponent.

Shiva cracked his neck erratically, his black eyes now pouring black blood like the female by his side. His voice echoed when he spoke, it was like a cacophony or chorus when the words left his mouth. A mish mash of different pitches all uttering the same sentence in hushed voices.
“You will pay DEARLY for this. DURGA, cast your curse or hurry up and die!”
Shiva hissed in her direction. It was clear that a certain pressure was mounting as his trio became a duo. Both of them watched quietly moments earlier as Ganesha were poached like a wild animal right by their side.
Raijin had asked earlier, about the fruit. Durga could only find it amusing that he hadn’t heard the stories even as a mortal. The fruit that birthes Shijin granted them great power and opportunity. Usually the Kais haught around in Other World while the mortals suffered. They would intervene if necessary, but rarely did that happen.
Raijin threw insults at their fallen friend and family, rubbing the small defeat into the faces of those who still more than tripled him in power. Still, the halfling managed to muster up some hidden strength. Raijin seemed to be more than a little pissed off at this point--Durga would have to explain before she take a fatal blow like Ganesha.
“The Shinjin, the kais. They are born of the fruit, like you.” Durga murmured to the man, a smile playing on red painted lips.
After Cipher’s attack, they couldn’t help but be distracted by her insanity filled stare. Both the Gods scowled at the Saiyan, the pair nearly matched the ferocity that filled her face. Her energy dragon did not disappear after her attack however, it menacingly circled her body once more prepared to attack.
Next, the ‘hero’ pair launched their attack. The insane pain that once subdued Ganesha seared through Durga’s body, it didn’t help that he also was sending lightning barrages. A few of the energy attacks landed into Durga’s side and burnt through the elegant robes on her frame.
“Y--You will pay for that.” Durga hissed towards Raijin, but she soon had to brace for Cipher’s moves. The dragon plowed back through. In massive slashes the female’s body was flayed open. Bits of muscle and tendon were exposed to the group. She hissed in pain as crimson poured from the front of her wounds. One gaping slash nearly cut the goddess in half. Several of her hands lay strewn across the ground after catching a bit of Cipher’s sword.
“Durga!” It was like Shiva snapped back to reality a second. He seemed to look for Ganesha as if he hadn’t witnessed his death moments before. Shiva’s formerly black eyes faded back to a subtle gold.
“Stand your ground. If you can stay alive I might be able to finish them.” Shiva commanded in a much more sincere tone. Perhaps Kouzi’s control over the weird demonic deity was losing its effect or hold. Durga stumbled to a stand and grasped at her entrails which seemed to be making an appearance. She waved a hand, a string of black ki shooting forth at the Saiyan. “Be cursed! Wretched mortal.”
With the curse set, Shiva was ready for his offensive. His brilliant golden aura flared up around him, and in the blink of an eye he shot into the air. From a slight height advantage he aimed to perform a culmination of attacks from earlier.
His trident pointed, the beam of energy from earlier carving at the ground below Cipher’s feet and following her for a few seconds. Suddenly, a barrage of ki orbs sprung to life from the tip of his weapon still aimed for her.
Shiva then flew towards them, aiming to land a sweeping slash against the girl.

Despite her injuries, Durga answered Rai and smiled at him. A part of the halfling felt a kinship with her, and a younger version of himself would've been merciful. Yes, her beautiful face tinted with blood would normally have made him second-guess his murderous intent. Tonight? Not a chance. Raijin was running on fumes here. Not to mention he was covered in blood, cuts and bruises. On top of that he had most likely cracked the bone in his right forearm from an earlier attack. He had to keep playing the game though. Gathering up most of his remaining magic, he called on a trick he hadn't used since his youth. The spellcaster grabbed onto the ring he had used earlier and began fiddling with it. This time, it crackled with electricity, as its properties began to shift to just the opposite. He had altered the composition of the trinket to perform the opposite action it had prior, and focused on his ally. He used it to remove whatever malady that Shiva or Durga inflicted during their upcoming assault. Taking a deep, ragged breath he turned to face Durga. The hybrid definitely had broken more than one rib. His healing factor was not up to par with the amount of damage he had taken. It was hard to even take a breath. The knife-ear grinned as Durga held some of her entrails in her hand, as if she wanted to put them back. He closed the gap between them slowly, speaking as he did. "The sad thing is, I got so excited when I saw a big hole in the sky. I thought, 'Oh, the things I'll learn!' as if you lot were going to provide me some insight. You strolled out like Gods, taking the lives of many when you did. I watched them all die. Then, one of you. Now, you are going to die. Whether from me, the girl, or your injuries. I want you to know, I would've been more cooperative than you think. Besides, in a way, you're ravishing. Blood and all, you really look your best! Such a waste, all this killing..." The halflings face had darkened noticeably. He was hurting. But he felt something inside of him click as he raised his hand, a blade of lightning forming around it. It hissed and popped and bit at the air around it like a snake, and Rai coiled up into a sleek fighting stance as he eyed the Demon. He phased from view, slashing wildly at the Goddess. With every stroke of her blade she made, she exposed more of the goddess’ internal layout. Muscle and tendon were exhibited following vigorous spurts of blood. Cipher did not let up; she continued on with her motion and ended up nearly bisecting the woman with her sanguine blade. Severed hands littered the ground while the Saiyan backed up, her wild eyes locking on what was gradually becoming less of her enemy and more falling under the classification of prey. If she could be compared to anything in that moment, her faintly luminescent crimson eyes may induce the feeling of a bull staring the remaining duo down. Stil, each slash she struck her with wrought her body with similar pain. Despite the damage her body was experiencing, a combination of tenacity and adrenaline seemed to distract her from the searing sensations riddling her frame. That didn’t mean the damage didn’t exist, however. Her midriff still leaked pints of scarlet while the rest of her looked completely battered. There were car accident victims who looked in a better state than she did in that moment. Cipher still stood her ground, only moving to brace herself when black energy was shot in her direction. Unable to move out of the way as it seemed to be eccentrically drawn to her, she immediately felt the effects. Her vision blurred and doubled and her body felt at least one hundred times heavier. With the weighted garb she donned, it would take all of her strength to make even minute movements. Before it could be exploited, she felt the ailments suddenly alleviate. Her attention was drawn to Raijin, and she was able to provide a slow, appreciative nod through her delirium. The same unstable gaze shifted back towards their adversaries. Her comrade went on to taunt their opponents, but she made no verbal additions of her own. If this did go south, she had several tricks left in the bag in order to adapt and survive. The time for negotiating had since expired; she was just going to slaughter them all in the same way she murdered their fiendish progeny. Besides, the golden entity taking to the skies took priority over that. With a vehement growl, the rage incarnate whipped her blade forth after the beam of energy chased her, parrying and causing the energy to split into multiple thinner beams, most likely carving into the ground around her and indiscriminately firing in a multitude of directions. With Durga’s proximity, it would most likely saw into her. Cipher lost control in the last minute and felt it pierce her robotic arm, rendering it useless. Now one-handed, she swung towards the orbs of energy fired towards her. Her blade clashed with them, and it required double the effort due to her now only being capable of using one arm. They pressed against her as she clenched her teeth, burning her flesh to the third degree. Anger fuelled by the stench of her own burning flesh, she let out a battle cry on the top of her lungs, her power spiking once more. “YOU WILL ALL DIE!”Flinging the barrage of ki back in Shiva’s direction, her fuschia aura exploded around her once again, causing chunks of rock and earth by the hundreds of dozens to rise into the air before disintegrating. The golden entity saw it fit to sweep at her with its trident, but the Saiyan simply allowed it to hit her. Bearing with the pain and reinforcing her flesh with energy, she hardly moved an inch, she had braced herself to the point where the attack only left a lone laceration in her fair flesh. Cipher’s cold glare stared into the creature’s very soul as she took another step towards it. Calling upon a new technique, she focused her energy to form an invisible sheen around her body. In doing so, whatever damage she incurred would simply cease to be as though it were sent into another dimension. “Was that supposed to hurt, insect...?”

Durga kneeled, her hand still managing to keep herself from falling to pieces. Raijin, the shinjin man began to walk towards the godly duo. Durge gritted her teeth and struggled to try and stand. She did not do that, instead she collapsed to the ground and warily tried to pry herself up again. A cough and a brilliant shower of blood coated the ground beneath her. It seemed that she had finally snapped back to reality as Ganesha before his fate.
“Shiva….I’m sorry I couldn’t do more to protect you.” The raven-haired goddess smiled towards her companion who was cooling off from his earlier berserk. However, the halfling’s face was now contorted and twisted with pain. He was ready to end this battle, and she was his next target. He raised his hand, the appendage bursting to life with electricity.
She had to do one last thing, in a second she sent another curse towards his female companion. Perhaps being a nuisance would be enough to win them the battle.
Durga dropped her head, shaking it in disbelief. She never lost--these beings carried the perseverance and headstrong that anyone would envy. Her last vision was the odd fighting stance that Raijin took, she squinted her eyes and he was gone. With a flurry of wild slashes of electricity with enough force to feel like a real blade, that’s how she would be ended.
Tan skin bubbled and melted away from the contact. The rest of her innards poured from her thoracic cavity as his onslaught carried on. Once he was finished, the woman oddly sat upright on her knees. One of her half-melted eyes dropped from its socket and to the ground below. Shiva locked eyes with the red iris.
“Durga…” Shiva turned to the pair who managed to just, keep on KEEPIN ON. He felt his blood boil, and soon within her secret lair Kouzi began to fret.
Again, Shiva boasted his aura, though alone he seemed exactly a third of the former whole. Without their harmony he grew weak and visa versa. He had to end it soon, or hold out for long. Shiva raised his leg high about his head, his body bending backwards with grace. In a sweeping motion down he cracked into the already shattered earth and sent a wave of massive energy at the pair.
“Damn them. Shiva, keep it up. She will be there soon for the job. Remember, you are here to survive---not die. USELESS!” The young voice shouted. Though she appeared like a teenage girl, Kouzi was over a thousand years in age at least. A powerful witch who aimed to be one of the best conjurers in history next to Bibadi and his son Babidi. Perhaps she could even surpass them? Her brows furrowed as she spoke telepathically to an unknown source.
‘Hurry, the portal can’t stay open much longer. I need to get through. I’ll be there.’ The witch sent a message, the only voice ringing back through her balls premium Bose sound system was …

Raijin's aura flared up around him, as he felt the effects of the curse that had been placed on him dissipate. Energy began to flow through his wounded limbs, and he grinned as he felt his ki energy begin to flow back through him. He had been saving a little trump card for now, to help the pair keep their edge. As he began to power up, Shiva released a barrage of energy towards him, Rai evading it. The deity must've been shook from the death of his two companions. This was the most success Rai had ever seen on the field of battle. It was because he had uncharacteristically played it safe, making sure to use all of his nifty little tricks and spells to hinder the advance of the trio. Raijin had saved on little thing for now, grinning maliciously as he withdrew a small flask from his robes. He bit the cap and pulled it off, tendrils of magic stretching out and reaching for Shiva. If the strange magic touched the demon he would find his strength sapped, transferred to Raijin. After the spell finished being casted, Rai began to crackle with lightning once again. Plasma burned with an extreme intensity in the palm of his hand as he turned towards Shiva, nervous. Both him and Cipher were hurting right now, and despite their success to this point if Shiva could regain his bearings it could get extremely ugly for the hybrid. He narrowed his eyes as he unleashed the attack, yelling as he did. "Shocking slash!" He was getting tired of yelling that everytime. Sometimes he wondered why he was so cliche, but it worked for him. The lightning arced towards Shiva, threatening to shock him rather severely if he didn't dodge. BATTLE TRACKER

In her final moments, the goddess managed to fire one last manifestation of spite in her direction. Unable to get out of the way, she felt her vision double once again before her world was veiled by complete darkness. Cipher took a frantic look around for a few moments, the sudden lack of vision taking her by surprise. Whatever infliction she was subjected to was not purged this time by her comrade. She assumed that whatever means he used to dissuade its influence was exhausted. The Saiyan took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Perhaps a blessing in disguise, the insidious attack may have diluted her berserk state of mind. One of her teammates were robbed of their sight for presumably all of their life. In spite of that, she was able to use her senses and ability to sense energy as a means of coping with her handicap. Cipher would not be able to be nearly as proficient in a short amount of time, but she did not have a choice. Focusing on her surroundings, she listened and felt everything she could. She heard Shiva’s voice once again and felt his aura flare. The presence was not as great as before but that was not cause to relax. It cost a tremendous amount of effort to get to that point, and she felt physically and spiritually depleted. She could not see the exact manner of attack, but she sensed the spike of power charging for her. Holding raising her guard with her remaining arm and sword, she braced herself for the impact. Cipher winced, but much of the damage ceased to be while the other was subject to her durability. She proceeded to turn her attention towards her synthetic arm. Twisting it and activating a function Aozaki built in for her, she emulated Audrey’s second wind system. A chain of needles punctured her skin and injected a senzu extract that mended some of her injuries and restored her energy. The feeling of relief dwarfed the familiar magical pain she felt when healing. With her vitality renewed, she felt less on the verge of consciousness but not too well off. Though it shot another lance of pain through her, she tightened her grip on the hilt of her sword and powered up. Her aura burned around her as she drew more energy from within her. Battered, broken and bleeding profusely, she knew she needed to use her moment of respite defensively instead of offensively. At the same time, she could not completely devote her moment to defense because of the eccentric cursed placed on her. Cipher compromised and brandished her large katana once again. Dashing towards Shiva once again, now she was purely trying to go for killing blows. With one hand, she slashed towards the God’s throat, before pulling back and attempting to lance her sword through its eye. It would likely not find purchase with the intended marks, but her mechanical mentality in that moment was kill or be killed.

Enough time had passed, luckily Shiva was still standing. The demon god braced for the incoming attack of the knife-ear. He had removed a flask from his robes and released the magic from the vial. Immediately Shiva’s body felt heavy. He had to brace himself with his weapon like a cane to stop from ending face first in the dirt. The deity shook his head, while trying to get a grasp on how badly he was losing this battle.
“Damn. You both are worthy opponents, if I live through this I will bellow your names as great warriors.” The demon tried to find some stable footing, but Raijin was already doing another cliche ‘Shocking Slash’. Shiva stepped to the side with ease, it seemed he had some agility still--that was until Cipher began her assault….after dealing with the loss of her vision first that is.
The Saiyan appeared oddly calm after her initial panic, perhaps she was comfortable fighting blindly? She performed some sort of healing technique on herself, trying to milk as much time as she could in this fight. Still, blind or not she was to be taken seriously.
A hand slashed towards his throat, he avoided it and took the sweeping strike to his chest instead. Shiva bellowed in pain, his golden orbs focusing on Cipher as she cut him down. A second stab from her sword would be aimed for his eye. Maybe the girl was upset that he stole her vision and was returning the favor?
The blade pushed its way into his eye socket, the fragile orb inside splitting in two like a boiled egg. A scream played on the demon’s lips. The man pulled away from her sword but the damage was already done. He clawed at the wound in his head, plucking the damaged eye from its nest before tossing it at the ground.
“F-FUCK YOU ALL!” Shiva belted, the realization that both of his companions, one even being his son, were gone. Soon he would probably be too.
Kouzi was quickly on the move in her realm. She had packed all the necessities and waited anxiously by the portal that still remain open to the mortal realm throughout the fight. On the other side a powerful energy signature were racing towards the heroes and Shiva.
‘Here.’ The voice echoed into the witch’s head, with that the small girl stepped through the portal. Upon the skin it felt something of play-doh diluted with water. It engulfed her being and magically moved her somewhere else. The things possible through the arcane were immese, and Kouzi’s aim was to display that to each and every realm.
Meanwhile, our heroes idly wait, Shiva still yet to return with a flurry of attacks like before. It appeared he was stalling.
Suddenly, a cloaked figure appeared. It carried a female frame, a simple cloak hanging over her like a tablecloth. Her hair was hidden beneath a makeshift hood and a mask hid her face from view. Her brows furrowed once she saw the state Shiva was is in.
“Couldn’t keep it together, eh? Maybe I shouldn’t save you?” The eyes of the woman began to glow with a certain crimson intensity. Beneath her mask the girl chewed her lip and debated her next moves.
“S-Shut up. Can’t you see I’m grieving?” Shiva retorted, his own face displaying a lot of regret. It seemed that the demon god had to face his mortality after all.
“Well, why not join em?” The woman said in a cheerful tone as a massive amount of ki built up in the palm of her hand.
It didn’t take much to finish off the demon, since the pair had already wore down all of his resources. The woman’s body shifted, disappearing with such a speed it almost seemed like teleportation. She appeared shortly behind the giant of a man, a amethyst blade of energy ripping into the back of his neck.
Whether she used too much force on purpose, the god was decapitated. From the heroes’ point of view, Shiva’s head would fall off leaving the woman’s eerie stare to mount his headless corpse. Shiva’s limp body fell towards the dirt, and thereafter the white portal began to ripple as Kouzi made her first appearance.
“Ahh, finally decided to join us?” The masked figured turned her attention to the lavender haired witch who seemed disappointed to see her toy destroyed by her own ally. She could only hope it wouldn’t bother their get away. Like before the cloaked woman disappeared and reappeared next to the ‘teenage’ magic user. The new arrival placed a single hand on Kouzi’s shoulder.
“This won’t be the last time you hear of us. Had a blast, though short---keep up your training and perhaps you can take less damage next time.” The woman in the hood yelled some backhanded criticism towards the pair, although her voice seemed completely sincere and almost…. encouraging.
Kouzi chimed in, her face rather feisty in comparison, “Today was a test you see. We wanted to see how seriously the mortal realm took our threats. Besides you two, the rest of the ‘heroes’ here today were not exactly--up to par. Now that I am free of the demon realm though, be warned.”
The witch shot them a devious glance before nodding towards her cloaked companion. Speaking of, the odd cloaked woman shot a wave towards the others before they both vanished into air. The eerie silence that had befallen the battlefield after was intense. Blood, bodies, and even hands littered the ground...which was also adequately destroyed.
Even the news crews from earlier had fled, just the pair of heroes remain to lick their wounds and look over their shoulder from now on.

Rai didn't even care that Shiva had called him worthy. He felt a grim satisfaction as the demon's eye was eviscerated by Cipher's weapon. These three had tried to make a fool of him. They had almost succeeded. The hybrid desperately clutched at his injuries, blood dripping slowly from his wounds. Shiva did the same, backtracking away from the duo and cursing angrily. Suddenly, Rai picked up a powerful signature, uncertain of who they were, or why they were here.
A cloaked figure arrived, had an exchange with Shiva, then mercilessly killed the deity. That was one way to end this whole debacle, the knife-eared youth hadn't expected it. Except now he was bleeding heavily with a new, probably stronger foe standing in front of him. This was just his luck.
A girl then appeared, stepping through the portal. Two people. This could go poorly. They recognized each other. Teammates? Friends? Lovers? Both seeming to be female, that notion did entice him. There was no point in wondering though. One of them could be the sorceror responsible for this debacle. For the killings. They explained themselves and seemed to offer quite a bit of backhanded criticism, encouraging further training.
"You think we're remotely the best that this realm has? You're gonna need to do a lot better than this. I'm virtually a nobody." he spoke, slowly. He sounded frustrated at the concept. The pair dissappeared, waving as they did. Everything grew silent and the scale of the carnage was made apparent. Rai turned to Cipher, flashing a smile at her. She was cute, despite all her injuries. Maybe she'd think of him sometime.
"Listen. Thanks for carrying the torch today. I owe ya one. Let's have a drink sometime, on me! We'll hit Space Vegas and have a real good time."
Despite his wounds, he flashed a charming smile, his ethereal visage warm and inviting. He took to the sky, moving slow enough to hear her response before flying off.

Lancing the blade through Shiva’s eye was cathartic. It was a shame she could not see her sword pierce his eye like a succulent grape, but she felt the resistance and heard the agonized cry from the demon. With her veins filled with malice and resent, her lips formed a crooked smile while she savoured his anguish. The god dislodged her sword from his face and Cipher dashed away in anticipation of retaliatory action. Cipher did not drop her guard when another female figure showed up. Her choice of attire prevented the Saiyan from identifying her, if she were even privy to the face at all. Chances are she had no idea who it was, anyway. But if she met them again, she would be none the wiser because of the hood and cloak enveloping her body. Judging from the interaction with Shiva, they knew one another. The context implied they were in cahoots. Feeling a spike in energy, Cipher gripped the hilt of her sword tighter. Ultimately no attack came for them. Instead, she witnessed the woman decapitate Shiva with barely a second thought. One might think that she would prattle on about her kill being stolen or something, but Cipher didn’t really care. Seeing the demon’s head removed from its body was satisfying. Fatigue stopped her from thinking anything else. While she watched another portal open up, Cipher’s adrenaline was starting to wear off. Even though her vision returned, she was too hurt to acutely process information. One hand cradling her midriff out of fear of its contents spilling out, she furrowed her brow while observing the scene unfold. However, her observations were superficial at best. Figuring out who or what these people were was on the backburner. The criticism reached her ears, but was answered in kind by Raijin who posed a valuable point to the woman and her lavender-haired companion. She could not shake the feeling that the hooded figure was interested in seeing their development and not the stronger predators lurking in the universe. When waved at by the duo, the Saiyan’s lips curled into a wry smile. “See you soon…”There were bodies everywhere, but that was nothing new for Cipher. Turning her attention towards Raijin, she mustered her strength to broaden the weak smile. Had it not been for him, she doubted she would have made it that far into the fight. She may have done a wealth of damage, but mending her wounds and curing curses inflicted against her was ultimately the most important moment in the bout. “Oh? Sounds good to me…” She started, pausing for a moment as she corrected her posture and looked up towards the figure who took to the sky. “My name’s Cipher. Don’t forget about that drink in Space Vegas, partner.”Following that statement, Cipher would dial in a code into her nearly defunct robotic arm, calling her ship down towards her before boarding it and departing for deep space where she would tend to her wounds in isolation.
