It had been forty-five days, 19hrs, 37mins, and 53 seconds since "V3" went on his natural wildlife exploration conditioning drills. And to think in another 3months or so he would be done. Being an android may give him some advantages to outdoor survival, but it was more the experience he was looking for anyways. Besides, he had read many different accounts on the internet of a strange creature that some claim to have sighted in a jungle somewhere in this desert he'd been traveling through. Say what you will about humans and their downfalls but at least their brains make permanent changes to hold information. The problem with being an android sometimes is that you get bad reception in certain parts of the world. Nothing to bad really but if you, say for example, find route to get to said forest and map it out in your head then lose all of that information for one second because of some technical difficulty than boom all that information is gone, and until communications are back up there's no way of getting it back. It wasn't often that Alaka left the solitude of the forest, but sometimes it was good to visit other locals and expand your horizons. Or something. It was mostly just that she grew a little listless after staying in one place for a long period of time. A holdover from being locked in a cage for a thousand years or so, perhaps.
Today her exploration took her to a nearby desert... and to her disappointment, there wasn't much in the way of wildlife. Even while flying overhead it seemed that only a few dry trees and scattered cacti were all that passed for greenery on the rolling hills of sand; and most of the animals were either small like rodents or scorpions, or so well camouflaged like foxes and snakes that she could hardly make any out. This trip born of wonderment and curiosity wasn't going very well. Perhaps it was her fault for thinking she could find paradise in the desert, but one could hardly blame her for the attempt. After all, nothing ventured was nothing gained... next time she'd just have to try looking somewhere else.
But as she flew, something unusual caught the corner of her eye. It looked like... a human? But why would a human be out here all on his own? She glanced at the surrounding area, and finding a particularly thick cactus, she dropped down behind it. Her fingers gripped the trunk of the plant, seemingly not noticing the needles digging into her rubbery flesh as she meekly peeked out from behind it, exposing only her left eye. If she were still able to sense Ki, she might notice something odd about the 'human's body, but she couldn't so she didn't. All she could do was hide and watch. "Hmmmm," V3 thought to himself. "Alright, I've gotta really think a somin. Ok... Well the good thing is I ain't gotta eat for another 18hrs" "Although, maybe I should eat. Well at any rate..." V3 let out a long slow sigh "ughhhh man. I shoulda got a map down by that thrifty store or maybe... ahh whatever. Guess I'll fly upwards and figure this out" As V3 gathered his energy to take flight his sensors started to pick something up. "Huh? Woah, momma! That is a huge power level. it's... it's over nine-thousand?!" V3's mechanical heart and brain started to shift gears. He instantly dropped his pack. "That has to be a Saiyan," V thought to himself. "What is a Saiyan doing out here? Something's not right about this" In an instant his power reactor shot a surge of white-hot energy into his legs and with a single bound he leaped into the air, eventually taking flight. "Dang it!" He thought to himself. Before he could react his battle protocol activated itself. Sending his nervous system into full-blown action mode. "Calm down now V boy. Deep breath c'mon now!" From up above he began to take deep breaths. Slowly regaining control of his subroutines. By the time he calmed down his targeting computer found where the energy signature was coming from. Slowly and calmly he descended to this strange rubbery looking life from. "Umm. Excuses me... Ms? I... I never saw anyone like you before but you wouldn't happen to be no Saiyan would'ya?" As he spoke he quickly reprimanded himself for losing control. A curious look drew itself across his face as he looks upon the sheepish creature. It seemed shy and kind of cute. Alaka wasn't close enough to hear the man talking to himself, but she did see him suddenly drop his pack and jump dozens of feet into the air, only to catch himself in flight. The Majin simply... blinked as her brow furrowed in confusion. What was he doing? Wasn't he going to take his bag with him?
She was just starting to consider perhaps going over to retrieve the bag and flying over to offer it to him when the man came down to her! A surprised squeak escaped the Majin as she slid fully behind the cactus. She thought she was well hidden! Maybe she wasn't as stealthy as she'd hoped...
The Majin remained hidden for a few moments even after being called out by the man, but eventually she slowly slipped out from behind the cactus and stood beside it, hands pressed together and fingers anxiously fiddling together. A light breeze kicked some sand into the air, but thankfully her gray scarf was already tightly wrapped around her mouth. When she was asked if she was a Saiyan... her head tilted to the side slightly as she grew even more confused! What was a Saiyan? Some type of vegetable? An animal? It wasn't a term she'd heard before. Her knowledge of alien species was very limited. Shinjin, Majin, a few Xenos... and that was about it.

V3 could not believe his sensors. The creature was...pink?! "Could something be wrong with me?" He ran a quick systems diagnostics check and troubleshot it a couple of times within the span of a couple of seconds. "These new system enhancements the Doc made for me are amazing" he thought to himself. Nothing was wrong. He stepped closer to extend his hand out and introduce himself. "Hey uhh I'm sorry there umm... mam. My names V3 and I didn't mean to startle yea. It's just that power level of yours, it is... AMAZING!!!" With this last exclamation, he did a series of bombastic jumps into a handstand, a couple of summersaults, and landed himself squarely on his feet into a fighting pose. He had been practicing these moves using his simulated physics engine in his processing unit for entire minutes, the equivalent of weeks for an android of his caliber. As he stood there awkwardly awaiting some kind of approval or recognition he noticed the creature had also just been standing there awkwardly. Confused even? "What's wrong babe?" Did he say in an attempt to be comforting? "Didn't yea like my sweet moves?" More silence. "Huh? tough crowd, tough crowd." Suddenly, an alarm system activated in his head. "Strange?" V3 thought to himself? "Why am I gearing up?" Before he knew it his action mode protocol had come online again. "Ohh brother," he said to himself. "Look out pinky!" He manages to yell out before lunging at her midsection with a powerful right-handed cross and following it up with a dropkick, landing onto the ground in a crouched position via a quick mid-air backflip. "No no no no no!" He thought to himself but it was too late. He had been overridden by his new subroutine "Action hero mode!" It was one of the new combat systems Dr. Danny had downloaded into him earlier. He had been hoping to test it out on a Saiyan but apparently, they still had some bugs to work out. Alaka simply... stood there and stared at the odd man. Even when he extended his arm, she just shifted her gaze towards his hand. What did the gesture mean? She had no idea. The Majin extended a finger and sloooowly reached out to poke him... only to hop back in surprise when the man started bouncing around and doing all manner of acrobatics. Her confusion had reached dangerous levels. Her brain was gonna short circuit at this rate.
When the man addressed her, she lowered her chin to nestle more of her face into her scarf, letting only her red eyes poke over the top. Maybe she should leave...? She just started to consider turning around and flying off when the man suddenly lunged forward and struck her in the chest. "...?!!" Her body wobbled back a bit, only for the dropkick to knock her off her feet and send her crashing back against the desert sand.
Neither attack managed to penetrate the natural defense of her rubbery body, though she quickly jumped back onto her feet, eyes narrowed. She had no idea what the man's deal was, but she knew hostility when she saw it. If this person was going to attack strangers at random, it was too dangerous to let him do as he pleased. So, she responded to his attack by thrusting her left arm out, the limb stretching until it reached the man's chest with a surprising amount of force. Whether the attack landed or not, the arm would quickly snap back into place before she twisted at the waist, following up the first punch with a second from her right arm this time.

As pinky shot backward, her body smashing onto the ground two swift fists of fury came crashing in V's face. They landed with a surprising amount of speed and intensity, arms stretched farther than anything V had ever seen before. Despite the blows themselves not hurting they did manage to throw him off his balance. "Pinky!" V screamed, "I am sorry, I'm malfunctioning!" it was too late though his battle mode had recognized a threat and to top it all off he'd just been attacked with enough force to blast through a wall. Thinking fast he grasped one of the long stretched limbs, wrapping it around his arm. If his systems were correct the creature's own body tension was increasing rapidly. Soon his computer told him that he would contract. As the creatures arms began to rush back to its body V pooled his energy into his leg thrusters and propelled himself forward with all of his might. This monster, his systems informed him, was too powerful to hold back against, and so his limitors began to shut down. At speeds upwards of 100mph, the 1200lbs android crashed into this pink blob and launched his assaults straight into its body. Even in the midst of battle, the man kept shouting something unintelligible. 'Malfunction'? What did that even mean? He was certainly the strangest being she'd ever encountered. But it didn't make him any less dangerous. A fact that was soon reinforced when he got hold of her arm and flung himself towards her. She barely had time to bring her free arm up to defend herself.
The barrage of punches rattled her entire body. Despite being functionally immune to blunt attacks, several of his punches managed to slip past her guard and the impacts penetrated to her core, inflicting lasting damage and physically denting her skin. The force of the attack knocked her away again, her arm pulling free as she wobbled back. Once she was a fair distance away, she pulled her scarf down to put a thumb in her mouth before starting to blow hard enough to puff her cheeks out.
The 'dents' left in her body from the man's attack popped out as her body swelled slightly, whereupon she pulled her thumb back out to let the gathered air leave her body with a loud whoosh, letting her deflate back to her usual size. With the damage somewhat mitigated, she drew her arms back... and then swung them forward in a rapid barrage, using the elasticity of her arms to build momentum and attack faster with each strike, mirroring the man's attack with a similar one of her own.

There was nothing V3 could do to override his protocol it seemed. He tried desperately to stop but nothing seemed to be working. slowly he began to fade, back into the nothingness that he used to know. He was a full-fledged machine now. Cold, lifeless and without emotions or regards for his enemies or others around him. Despite the constant wave of punches now raining down upon him like a winter storm, he walked forward ignoring most of them, barely phased by their force and tenacity. Moments ago he would've found this "mimic" attack flattering and cute, but not now. He flung himself into the punches, towards the monster, with all of his might again. Summoning forth more power from his internal reactor he pressed himself tight into the creature body, and with clasped hands, he let out a torrent of violent energy at point blank range. His body temperature now in the hundreds. He began to feel the exhaustion creep in. Had he really spent so much energy already? How is this thing still surviving? He sensors started going haywire. In spite of her best efforts, the man was seemingly unphased by her attacks. Which was to be expected, considering that her punches had nearly no force behind them. Such was the life of the squishy marshmallow girl. She tried to up the speed and power of her blows, but it was futile. He managed to slip past her guard and fire a bright beam of energy directly at her. The light enveloped her body but she managed to hold her ground against it.
Even if she lacked strength, she made up for it in spades with durability. The man's technique seemed to do little more than scuff her clothes, a light steam rising off her body from the heat of the attack.
But she wasn't deterred. She threw a punch towards his face, and whether it hit or not, would attempt to jump up to grab onto his body, arms aiming for his shoulders and feet looking to plant themselves on his knees to hold herself in place for a moment before leaning back... and then slamming her head into his with as much strength as she could muster. The attack... probably wouldn't hurt either of them very much, given her body was very soft to begin with, but it was the attempt that counted.

Despite his best efforts, she stood her ground. This Gum girl was still standing and acting as if she'd never been hit in the first place. Asides from some minor tear of her clothing it was obvious that V's Attacks had done minimal damage, and what is worse she seemed to be regenerating from her minor wounds at that! Something had to be done. Some sort of distraction or technique had to do it. V fired off beams of energy from his legs in an attempt to break free from her grasp, ha managed to fly up about 10 or so feet before succumbing to the unnatural strength of her elastic arms. She contracted again, but this time with a speed and force he wasn't expecting. She dug her heels into the ground, like twin drills, and bashed his face with her own skull, if you could call it that. V struggled to escape but she climbed onto him, hands on his shoulder and both feet now planted on his knees she continued to headbutt him with the tenacity of a wolverine in heat. Recalculating his battle systems tried something different. As she went in for another headbutt he clasped his hands behind her head. At the same time, he shot his legs back behind him as if he were trying to avoid a wrestler's shoot to grasp his legs. With his hands now behind her head he waited for her to pull away and then began to fire his knees into her face. Channeling his energy into his legs again he propelled them forward into her face with all of his energy. He then followed it up by quickly unclasping his hands, slipping behind her, and grasping her tight from behind. Once again, her attempt to strike the man only ended with her being grappled and countered in return. His knees slamming into her face shouldn't have hurt, but it did. Once again the attack penetrated to her core, though the suplex that followed was ineffective. She wasn't sure what it was about his attacks that caused some of them to actually cause damage to her while the others failed to accomplish anything.
If she were stronger, she might think she had to end this battle quickly. But she lacked the strength to decisively close it out. Instead, she just had to keep wailing away at the man's strangely tough body and hope for the best. Thus, after being suplexed, she started to roll away... only to stop when her head touched the ground, using the odd position to thrust her legs back in an attempt to slam into the man's shoulders and knock him over.
Whether it struck him or not, after her legs snapped back into place she'd use the momentum to finish her roll and hop up onto her feet, taking a moment to brush the dirt off her clothes before resuming a shaky battle stance. It seemed that if she wanted to make do without magic, she would really need to learn how to fight...

If V3 were capable of laughing he would have. As the pink lady struggled to get onto her feet his energy systems began the process of revitalizing themselves. His reactor core deep within his body began to rev the tiny engine within him furiously as he began to feel the energy return to him. "This is going to take a while," he thought to himself. Good, He would need the time to override his systems and regain control. Luckily for him, the pink lady seemed more annoyed than actually hurt. "I think she hit me with something just now?" He thought to himself but he couldn't tell. His systems recorded some negligible damage done to him but not enough to register on his overhead display. "Listen up pinky!" He said in a firm yet serious tone. "You gotta hang in there a little bit longer ok? I'll figure this out. Yo..you...you're doing great alright uhhm. Keep it up". With that last statement launched into his next attack. sending a single powerful kick straight into her midsection, probably to be absorbed by her rubber body. His system had hoped for that. Once again the man called out to her, and once again his words were at odds with his actions. She didn't know why he was praising her in one breath while attacking her in the next. But she was ready for his next strike, deftly slipping to the side when he came flying at her with his foot. She had little doubt that she would have been able to absorb the attacks easily, but until she figured out why some of his strikes hurt her while most could not... it was best to be a bit more cautious than she had been.
When the roundhouse came she tucked beneath it, delivering a quick one-two combination to his midsection before jumping back, her aura surrounding her as she caught herself in the air to hover above the ground. The man had attacked so many times that she thought he must be getting tired by now. She just had to think of a way to get him to burn off the last of his energy to render him unable to fight further. But without any big attacks of her own, it would be a real challenge to figure out how she might force him to push himself past his limits.

The battle raged on for what seemed to be an eternity, yet in actuality it was mere moments. The pink bubble gum champion bobbed and weaved, up, down, left, and right. Landing vicious upper cuts and hooks to the body. V3 was beginning to tire out as these, the most vicious blows she has landed in the entire fight, dug into his metallic ribcage. "Yes, yes! Do it bubbles that is what I am talking about girl!" Shouted V3. "Could she be getting stronger?" He thought to himself. As he looked over his interface he began to worry. "Two more big ones coming girl watch out! Duck!" With those words his body jumped 3 feet off of the ground, tucking his knees into his stomach and turning horizontally, he smashed his heels into her, igniting his thrusters again as he did so. The force of the blast sent him flying at roughly 120 miles per hour, his fastest rate yet. As he began to gain distance his legs altered his path. Her attacks seemed... slightly more effective than they had been? But still not nearly enough. What exactly was her game plan here? She'd long since passed the point where she wanted to flee, but that would leave the man rampaging... and that wouldn't do anyone any good.
The man yelled for her to duck and, confused, she did so... only for him to go sailing overhead. "...?!" So now he was calling out his attacks before he did them? It was all so odd! The poor Majin's thoughts were turned up flipped upside down.
So distracted was she, that the Majin failed to notice the man whip around for a followup attack. Though she certainly noticed when his hand struck her temple and send her flying to the side, only coming to a rest after she tumbled along the ground for a few dozen feet. She slowly pushed herself up onto all fours, rubbing her dented head. Her body was already starting to heal itself, but it still hurt!
After she rose to her feet, the girl turned to face the man, and then stretched her limbs as she attacked him once more, first striking at him with an elongated punch before following it up with a similarly ranged kick to the side of his head. All she could do was just keep fighting until an opportunity of some kind presented itself... though she had no idea what she was supposed to be looking for.

V3 was so proud of this Majestic creature. Though he had made little progress in regaining control of his motor functions he had started to grow quite attached to this pink ball of love and joy. "She could make a valuable ally," He thought to himself. The punches were not so bad though she would have to work on that. He felt confident that with some time and effort he might be able to introduce the concept of "Sweet gains" to this strange creature. Perhaps introducing some weights or a new diet program would suffice? "Hmm" A ponderous look spread across his face. "I wonder what her diet consist of" He said out loud as another swollen fist crashed into his dome... "Wooh. That one actaully hurt" He said, mostly to himself, in a low yet assured voice. According to his computer programming, he was starting to run low on gas, and there odds of winning had begun to drop rapidly. Below 0.273% now. Of course, he already knew that he could feel his limbs were already starting to weigh him down. Each of his steps, jumps or kicks now feeling like he were treading through 2 1/2 feet of snow, without his bi-monthly oil change. It sucked. "That is good" He thought. He didn't want to win. He actually was hoping Pinky would be okay after all of this. She had earned his respect now. As a smile began to spread across his face he began to remove his sunglasses. It was time. It occurred to her that the man might not be an earthling. At least, not in the way that she understood. She didn't exactly have a lot of experience with them, but she expected them to be soft and squishy. Not unlike her, albeit with bones. But this man was different. He was... solid, like a rock. Or metal? Whatever, she was still left feeling very confused.
But there wasn't time to dwell on it. When the man removed his glasses, she brought her arms up in a quick guard, expecting another attack. Rightfully so it seemed, given the deadly rays that erupted out of the man's eyes. Alaka let out a surprised squeak and dived to the side, hands pressed against the top of her head while she hit the ground. The lasers cleaved through the ground where she'd been standing, leaving the sand as a sheet of glass.
Alaka hopped back onto her feet and brought her arm back as if she was going to punch at the ground... and then did! Her fist buried itself in the sand. A small lump pushed through the sand, snaking itself over to where the man was standing... right before the fist popped out of the ground, aiming to strike him on the chin before grabbing at his head to yank him down against the sand while the limb retracted.

The problem with being so bulky and tough. You are not so fast. His vision was filled with pink overtone as the baseball sized fist erupted from the ground and crashed into his face. The first one was not so bad. His arms grasped it easily and held on tight. It was the second one that was a bitch to the teeth. "POW!" It was a solid hit. With such a speed behind it that it forced him to release his grip on the first hand. Everything went dark... ... ... And then back again. "wait a minute..." "Yeaaaaaa!!!" V began to jump and shout as loud as he could. He shot up about three meters into the are, ecstatic. He had managed to reboot his systems and regain control of his body. As he ran over to pinky her arms made it difficult for him to get there as they began to wrap themselves around him. It would not stop him but he was not gonna fight it. He allowed her to slow him down. " You did it, girl! You did it! You. Are. Amazing!" At this point, his superheated lower body had been entirely wrapped up by her abnormally long arms. He fell to the floor as he lost his balance. Staring up at her now he could see her confusion plastered all over her face. "Ohh man You know girly you really are something else. Hey, are you living with anyone? I mean you have like a boyfriend?... Wait no not like that. Nothing weird! I was just thinking maybe we should do this again sometime, you know?" When the man hit the sand, it seemed to have knocked him out. So... the fight was over, right? Or not, considering the man popped right back up. She shifted back into her fighting stance, hunkering down for the long haul as the man rushed forward... and then fell down again. The Majin could only blink in response. What-
Aaaand then he asked if she had a boyfriend. She barely even knew what that was! Her gaze blanked out for a moment as her eyes glazed over. This was all just too much for her. It was just one shock after another. She couldn't do this anymore. Any longer and her brain would frizzle like a strip of bacon over an open fire.
So, instead of answering his query... she just slowly turned around, let her bright pink aura surround her body, and rocketed up into the sky, quickly flying back towards her home in the forest. The man seemed to be... in better control of himself now, so the threat was gone. Probably. Or maybe not. But hopefully it was, because otherwise she'd feel bad about running away. For now, however... she just really, really needed some time by herself to reevaluate things.
