MOTIVATIONS:
Alaka has few convictions. She has no desire to conquer the world, or to meet strong fighters, or to find someone to spend her life with. No, the only thing she wishes for is peace. She loves nature and will defend it with every ounce of magical power she can muster. Her feelings towards intelligent beings such as earthlings or Saiyans are... mixed. They have great potential for disaster and she's distrustful of them until they've proven themselves friendly.
QUIRKS:
Presumably the good Alaka can speak, though if any have heard her voice they are a rare breed. Instead she usually pantomimes or draws in order to get her point across. When she becomes enraged or embarrassed, white steam will billow out of the pores that cover her body. When most Majins become angry they fly into a temper tantrum, but Alaka simply becomes extremely serious and focused on the task at hand.
Though now Alaka is good, her evil nature has been suppressed through magic. The angrier she is, the weaker the seal keeping her good nature in control becomes, allowing for the possibility of her evil side to leak out. The evil Alaka is sadistic and has no problem speaking, mostly so that she can taunt and admonish her enemies. The battle for control over her body is a constant struggle.
As far as food goes, like most Majins she mostly only eats candy and other sweets. The thought of eating other food, meat in particular, sickens her and she can hardly stand to be in the same room when people are eating it.
BONDS:
Befriended the Shinjin that defeated Alaka and cleansed her soul following her rampage. They taught her the importance of nature and to value life. (Left bare in the event someone wants to be that Shinjin)
BACKSTORY:
Alaka was created well over a thousand years ago by an evil Sorcerer as his Thrall. The Sorcerer used her to do his bidding, destroying numerous ancient civilizations under his command. Empowered by his dark magic, Alaka seemed impossible to defeat. It took hundreds of years, but eventually the Sorcerer's lust for conquest waned. Despite his magic keeping him alive, he grew weak and tired, and wished to retire so that he may bask in his ill gotten gains for the rest of his wretched life. As such, with none willing to stand before him, he attempted to dispel Alaka. But the Majin wouldn't accept it.
The threat of erasure gave her the willpower to break through the Sorcerer's control. He attempted to fight back, but it was futile. She easily killed the Sorcerer and absorbed his magics into herself. But this turned out to be a fatal error. After gaining the Sorcerer's power, her strength attracted the attention of the Gods. Her blazing flame was snuffed out as their enforcers were sent to crush her beneath their heel. As powerful as Alaka had become, she could not fight against them. And so, she was defeated and captured. But try as they might, she could not be killed. No matter what injuries they inflicted on her body, she simply regenerated. Even when her limbs were removed, or her head was torn off, she healed almost as quickly as they could damage her. And so, she was locked away in the Otherworld for centuries.
The isolation drove her mad. And then sane. And then mad again. Her suffering was absolute. At least, until one day, a Shinjin learned of her plight and offered a different solution. Rehabilitation. They used their power to purify the dark magic that tainted Alaka's being, robbing her of the vast majority of her power with it. They worked with her for year after year. The Majin lashed out and stubbornly refused to have any part of this, but the Shinjin's patience was infallible.
Her true nature was that of evil, and that would never change. Yet, slowly but surely, the darkness gave way to light. Alaka's personality split into two, giving birth to something new. This new, childlike personality was enamored with the Shinjin and their teachings. The darkness was still there, locked away, festering beneath the surface... but as far as the Shinjin was concerned, Alaka was reformed and deserved a second chance at life.
CALL TO ACTION:
After much prodding by the Shinjin, eventually it was agreed that Alaka could be freed from her prison on a parole of sorts, as she'd technically never died in the first place. Thus, the Majin was released back into the universe, returning after over a thousand of years of absence.
True to her dominant personality, Alaka seeks only peace and to preserve life. Though she has serious misgivings about taking a life in order to save a life, the darkness lurking beneath the surface has no such qualms should it be called upon...
