”Heh, memories...”
Space Vegas was a location she held close to her heart. If she were to draw a comparison between it and Earth, she felt that it may have had more significance to her than the latter even despite being born on the human-run Kingdom. One of Earth’s first colonized planets, a largely urbanized city world inspired by one of Earth’s most famous cities, was the place where she had her most brutal and eye-opening fight. Engaging in battle with the Super Saiyan known as Ipomea, she participated in an utter bloodbath that rekindled her then dwindling Saiyan Spirit and showed her what it meant to be part of her sometimes esteemed and sometimes spurned warrior race. The fight was so gruelling she could attribute most of the scars decorating her body to the contest.
And frankly, she wore them like badges.
Ever since that bout, she aspired to become a Super Saiyan herself. Since this place held such meaning to her, she figured that it would be the perfect spot to take someone she liked. In addition to it boasting a lot of meaning to her, the place was covered in entertaining hotspots. It was literally the entertainment capital of the entire galaxy. Casinos dominated the planet, but there were other attractions as well, from shopping to fine dining, entertainment and a bustling nightlife. Which was precisely why she decided that the evening was the best time for this rendezvous. She did not fear the idea of the shadier aspects of the planet, the nefarious underground crime scene, because she welcomed combat. Brutalizing people who wanted to ruin her date sounded like a bonus to the hotblooded Saiyan.
Cipher stood in front of a building trimmed in flashing neon lights. It must have been some variety of nightclub or bar, but at the moment, she just intended on using the space in front of it as the meeting spot. She could use some time to relax from her training, and she invited Audrey via a communication link on her ship earlier on. Upon acceptance, she would have provided her with the exact coordinates for the location. Then she simply waited at the specified spot, in a very gothic attire. A sleeveless black dress, black gloves that reached just past her elbows, thigh-length black legwear and, surprisingly, short heels. Pale sidelocks framed her face, while the rest of her hair was tied into a crown braid. Her tail seemed hidden entirely due to the nature of her dress. -- Audrey | 415 words (+1 SM)

While it was not the first time for the android to visit Space Vegas, it was indeed the first time for her to visit the place for non-work related matter. Cypher had asked her out for a tryst with her commlink out of nowhere and the android had jumped on the opportunity. What comes next was digging out the perfect clothes that would suit the occassion. Now normally the android don't really care about such things. Afterall, a combination of leather jacket, jeans and black shirt underneath had never feel out of place for her no matter where ever the place she go. However given the place she was invited to, it was certainly a fancy place that requires a fancy outfit to go with it. With the help of a coordinator AI which she had purchase on the spot precisely for this occassion, the android was finally satisfied with her choice of outfit she picked before hopping into the space pod heading and setting the coordinate of her destination. As the android leaned back in her seat, she was reminded that the space pod she ride now used to belong to someone who is very famous in Space Vegas arena. The two had crossed swords back then...and for a moment the android thought she had the advantage. Only to be proven that she was holding back the whole time. "I wonder if she's still fighting in that arena..."Before she could mull over that thought for too long, the screen on her space pod beep informed her that she had reached the destination. Once she had turned it back to capsule form, Audrey began to walk slowly towards the destination as her eyes scanned for her partner. For a second she nearly missed her, she was so used to look for the tail in order to ensure she's looking at the right person...but even without that the familiarity of her ki signature was something she could tell anywhere. Stealthily and with the aid of her complete absence of ki signature, the android move over to her back before wrapping her hands to cover the Saiyan's eyes, gently pressing her chest against her back. "Guess who~?"Regardless of how Cipher react she would soon let go and smiled warmly at her. When the Saiyan turned to face her she will see the android wearing a purple and slightly revealing sleeveless dress. It was certainly a bit more feminine than what the android would usually wear and looking at what Cipher was wearing right now, she wasn't quite sure if the android made the right choice. "Geez, how come you're always one step ahead when it comes to dressing up hm?"the android teased her as she tilted her head slightly at the Saiyan's clothes. It appeared that the android wasn't the only one who had the idea to put a little effort in her clothing. "You look dazzling as always Cipher."the android cheeks blushed slightly, at least this time she wasn't beet red from attempting to pay her a genuine compliment. Cipher | WC: 500

Unable to grasp any sort of ki signature, Cipher could not see the advance coming. However, the sensation of having a pair of familiar hands over her eyes and an alluring warmth against her back was no cause for alarm. It was cause to quickly realize she was not under fire, or an ambush, and rather now within the company of the individual she invited to Space Vegas for what she hoped would be a memorable rendezvous. A smirk ghosted her lips while a shade of red quickly seized her pale cheeks. She waited a moment and then turned around to face Audrey. Admittedly, she found herself taken aback. Gone were the more mundane garments, and in their steed, the android adorned a sleeveless dress placing much more emphasis on femininity. To say the least, she absolutely appreciated her beauty and style, her awestricken expression undisputed evidence. “I’m not sure if I’d consider myself any steps ahead,” She began, extending her hand to brush her fingers lightly through Audrey’s extensive mane of white hair. Her efforts sported characteristics ranging from playful to graceful, to slightly demure. “If anything, I think I’m the outclassed one.” In a way, the dress she wore belied her usual choice of attire. Not only that but contrasted the usual garb a Saiyan may don. Her smile fuelled by the compliment she incurred, she tilted her head to the side while opting to place her palm lightly on Audrey’s cheek. “And you’re as mesmerizing as ever, Audrey.”

The Saiyan was quite modest with her choice of dress but for the android, she couldn't have pick a better one for her. Simple yet elegant, she had always appreciate the gothic style Cipher tend to wear. The android tilted her head slightly to lean her cheek into Cipher's palm though she could feel her face grew warmer and even the tip of her ears turn slightly pink. It doesn't matter how tough the android was in the face of planet busting adversary, just her slightest touch render her putty like this. "A-as well as I can be. Just bought a new cruiser recently...there are lots of space in it with all sorts of facilities such as training gym, medical bay, ya can practically live in there for months."the android told her. As much as she enjoyed their little meeting every now and then she figured it was time to invite her to spend some time to her actual living quarters. So far they had only spend their time training together in her gym and even then that was quite sparingly. Audrey hoped tgat she didn't sound too forward with this...then again perhaps she shouldn't be beating around the bush. No, the only way to move is forward. She just need to be confident with herself! "I even got a room set up for our jamming session so we don't have to rent a place. If you want to like...hang out, the door's always open."her cheek flushed even more at this, hoping that her moment of bravado didn't just dig her grave. Should she really be telling this now? Perhaps she should have wait for the mood is right. She took a moment to listen to Cipher's response, hoping that she would answer favorably before she attempted to direct the conversation towards the woman before her. "How about you? What have you been up to lately?"the android asked, curious to hear more about the Saiyan girl. While they do keep contact with each other every now and then the android assume there are something she would be more comfortable to talk about in person. Subconsciously she reached out as well, mirroring the pose by holding the Saiyan's cheek in reverse as she gaze into her golden eyes. To her such eyes look like precious stone, she could gaze into them all day without ever getting bored. WC: 402/902 Cipher

What a cute reaction, Cipher thought to herself. A certain satisfaction came with seeing a softer side of someone who, to anyone else, was as tough and powerful as they came. It felt like a luxury exclusive to her. The Saiyan learned that Audrey’s latest transaction included a new cruiser, complete with facilities such as training gyms and medical bays. She beamed another smile at the epiphany. If I had something like that, I could undertake any training regiment and accelerate recovery as much as possible...Her eyes practically sparkled at the mere thought. Not only that, but her friend did not forget about their promised jamming session. There was a separate room set up for it, and she was interested in seeing it. Her eyes widened in surprise at the woman’s attention to detail, before her lips formed a smile once again. “I’d love to head over and check it out. Hell, why not crash in your cruiser instead of bothering with finding some kind of hotel?” Came the albino Saiyan’s suggestion, eager to integrate a visit to the new cruiser into the events of the day. It made sense to her. Check out the nightlife in Space Vegas, then instead of blowing cash on an overly expensive hotel, go to the ship instead. It would efficiently murder two birds with a single rock. Before she could respond to Audrey’s question, surprise rebounded in her fair features. She recuperated relatively quickly, but Audrey’s gesture cultivated even more warmth in her face. Tilting her head to lean into the palm nurturing her cheek, she parted her lips to respond to the question. “Mostly training. I feel as though I haven’t made much progress lately, like I’ve somehow outgrown my current regiment. To that end, I suppose I’ve been trying to get past that barrier. Getting stronger admittedly is an obsession of mine, so much so that I feel as though I’ve been living under a rock in terms of the happenings around the universe lately. Which reminds me, any news I should know about?”-- Audrey

When Cipher voiced her eagerness to visit Audrey's space cruiser, the android let out an exhale in relief before beaming slightly. She wasn't exactly eager to go hotel hunting either, she could imagine the price of hotel in this part of the city to be quite expensive. "That's a sound idea. My cruiser's probably not as fancy as five star hotels but at least I can give you a view of the city unlike any other." Audrey chuckled slightly as her cheek flushed deeper red. Now that she have made that comparison she wondered how the Saiyan would have felt about her ship...it was moreso a portable training facility and the Saiyan love to train so that should appeal to her right? Then again Cipher had proven to be different than other Saiyan she had met so she may have a different point of view. Crimony...if only her combat algorithm was as useful in figuring out her love interest instead of picking up her combat pattern. Veteran she may be in the battlefield, she was a mere rookie when it comes to love. Listening to her laments on outgrowing her regiment, the android's expression changed. Audrey knew that feeling quite well as before she met the Crimson haired Saiyan, she had encounter the same barrier. The feeling of frustration that no matter how she spice up her own training regimen it barely give her any yield. Cipher's inquiry about the news make her blink slightly as she was reminded of the other reason why she was eager to see her in first place as she slowly let go of her face to look at her. "There was an incident with the Galactic Patrol. The previous Galactic King has fallen supposedly due to an assault by the Saiyan's Dominion. Now instead of a paramilitary organization we used to have, they were replaced with a nation called the First Galactic Empire, with Emperor Polaris at it's helm. He also appointed the Ultramarine forces which is basically his own paramilitary unit to regulate us." At this point her face turned quite serious, the embarassment completely wiped off from her face. "You probably knew him as some sort of television celebrity from Galactic Patrol but he's completely different from what he had shown us on cameras. He brought some changes and also gave the Ultramarines free rein to do despicable things which he turned a blind eye to as long as they promised him unwavering allegiance. Figured that was too much for some of us so we left them and...they didn't like that." Audrey exhaled again as she remembered the battle they just had recently. "Right now, I'm considered a traitor to the Galactic Empire..." the android awkwardly chuckled. Not quite the news she wanted to break this early in the date but she would understand if the Saiyan decided that was too much baggage to inflict on her. At the very least, she had hope that they could continue to spend their time together. WC: 505/1407. Cipher

“I’m a big fan of nice bird's-eye views. Besides, any place is as enjoyable as a five star hotel as long as you’re there.”With a her lips spread into a sly smile, her words came swiftly and without hesitation. Cipher kept her eyes fixed on Audrey the entire time she spoke, looking for her reactions to her advances. Since they were always endearing, she knew she ought to not miss a single one. Her unoccupied hand trailed onto her own hip, her body language suggesting she felt comfortable and relaxed. Audrey ended her hand’s tenancy on her face, and Cipher did the same as she retracted her hand to her side. In its absence, a cheek tinged pink was left in its wake. She listened to the woman speak, her expression sobering quickly. Her brow furrowed when she heard the news of the Galactic King’s downfall, apparently by the Saiyan Dominion itself. Hearing that, her blood turned cold and her expression seemed to pale. Her gaze became fairly unfocused. The First Galactic Empire, Emperor Polaris, and the Ultramarine Forces. Colour returned to her face, but her gaze darkened while she learned about the various happenings around the galaxy. Corruption ran rampant as long as his underlings swore their undying allegiance. The final thing she learned of was that Audrey was one of the individuals who deserted the insidious empire. Cipher looked upward, narrowing her eyes once more as the information registered in her mind. ”I see...”Cocking her head to the side, her gaze descended upon the android once again. She was grinning, seemingly not as perturbed or ailed by the news as one may think. ”I guess that means I’m a traitor to this so-called Galactic Empire, too,” A pause, and then her expression softened. “After all, I’m standing with you no matter the circumstance.”-- Audrey

"S-such a smooth talker..." the android awkwardly averted her eyes to the side when Cipher made her advances. Her mere appearance alone was enough to distract her thought process but with those words now she now felt as giddy as a girl during her prom night. If Audrey thought that the Saiyan couldn't top that she was proven wrong, as soon as her explanation ended Cipher dropped a line that had enough weight behind them to make the android weak in the knees. "I..." Her words hung in the air as she place her hand on her own chest, struggling to find the right words that express what she felt. Audrey had half expected that Cipher to at least think over it for a bit so when she voiced her loyalty to her side immediately it caught her off guard. The android was quite used to having people left her side when disaster struck, her first experience being the number of those who stayed by her side during court martial could be counted with only one hand. "Where have you been the rest of my life?" The android weakly replied in return. She didn't quite believe in fortune but if those were involved that made her meeting the Saiyan possible in first place then she'll accept it. Various emotions filled her all at once that she was almost certain that even if she use nanomachine to suppress them, it was highly doubtful that they would be able to keep them in check. So much so that the android realize her vision turned misty as tears filled the corner of her vision. "Hm, it appeared that my lacrimal glands are ill functioning. They should only provide aqueous secretion for when my eyes are irritated by dust or other irritants." the android commented as she look for something to wipe them away with. WC: 311/1718 Cipher

As expected, the reaction she received for her words was colossally endearing. Though she had no answer to the presumably rhetorical question, the white-haired Saiyan eased her lips into a softer smile. She was glad that she lifted Audrey’s mood but thought that her own words were merely the result of doing what she thought was right and made sense. It hardly even took her half a second to consider it. She wanted to stand by Audrey’s side no matter what because she was important to her. Having lost too many things over the course of her life, she did not intend on letting anybody take anything else from her. Not now, not ever. What she witnessed afterward was surprising and fairly anxiety-inducing. Her immediate thoughts pertained to whether or not she did something wrong, but she found herself quickly distracted by the android’s interpretation of her own tears. With a wry smile, Cipher extended a hand and erased the need for Audrey to find something to wipe her eyes with. Using her thumb, she would attempt to wipe away the tears that bordered the woman’s eyes. The gesture, for a Saiyan, was alarmingly gentle and emphatic. That was something she most likely owed to her mixed heritage. “My bad, my bad. You alright? Even if they ain’t out of sadness, I feel bad making a pretty girl have a lacrimal gland malfunction on a date,” She said, her tone playful in a hopefully not vain attempt to comfort her. “Hey, why don’t we take our minds off of the more heavy subjects? We can explore anywhere in this place, I’ll let you pick and regardless of the price, it’ll be on me.”-- Audrey

Before Audrey could grab the handkerchief, a thumb reached out for her tears and wiped them away causing her to blinked as she turned to face the one who reach out for her. The Saiyan's attempt at consoling her and the gesture brought a smile back on her face. "Thanks... but you do realize we're in THE Space vegas right? No way am I going to spend all your money unless you just won the lottery." The android joked as she led her friend away from their rendezvous point. Unlike other colonies Audrey paid a visit to, the city were buzzling with people that it was easy to forget that it's actually night time. All the bright and colourful neon lights that decorated the displays also made sure that darkness was never a concern for them. Still even if Cipher gave her the choice on what to do, the android was not sure on where to start. Usually a dinner and a movie would be the android's choice to go for the classic but a fancy place like this? It felt like she had to step up her game a bit, as she scanned the area for tourist attractions, her eyes glowing light green. When the android activated her Augmented Reality vision she was bombarded with almost hundreds of advertisements at once, each one appealed to a wide variety of interest and with their own competitive prices to boot. It almost felt overwhelming to have multiple choices at once especially considering this would be her first time here to try anything. "Well, this would be my first visit here for pleasure purposes. Should we grab something to bite as we check out the area?" Audrey finally suggested. She could use food which they could enjoy while they walk around the streets. WC: 301/2019 Cipher

”You’d want me to spend all of my money if I won the lottery?” Cipher answered with a joke of her own, her lips fastened into a small smirk. Following Audrey taking the lead, the Saiyan followed behind her. As she walked, she matched Audrey’s pace and rested her hands behind her head. Her eyes scanned the environment around them, noting that Space Vegas continued being as populated and bustling as she remembered. The flashing lights and enthusiastic nightlife caught her attention, making it difficult to decide where to venture first. In essence, everything looked like it could be fun. After awhile of scrutinizing the vicinity, Audrey suggested they treat their stomachs to some of Space Vegas’ foods while they explored the area. Cipher nodded in response before parting her lips to speak, her eyes once again fixed on Audrey. ”Sure. What kind of food are we getting? Fancy or something fast? I ain’t picky, ‘food’ is the hook, line, and sinker for me.” With those words said, she paused for a moment before continuing. ”And yeah—same here. The last time I was here, it sure wasn’t for fun. Well, it wasn't most people's definition of fun, but I guess it was mine. I was fighting in the arena with a Super Saiyan of all things. Kinda why I’m gunning for it myself.” Shedding some light on the planet’s continued storied history and her mild relevance to its recent exhibition, Cipher spoke and then chuckled. -- Audrey

The Saiyan didn't mind her suggestion to look for food first which was a relief for her. Still there comes the choice of going for fast or fancy...from the choice of both their attires, the both of them would be out of place in a fast food joint. Yet she wasn't in the mood to eat something fancy...at least not yet. "Something fast but light. We don't want to be too full to enjoy the attractions."the android suggested, narrowing the food establishment considerably. As she began to look, Cipher mentioned about fighting in the arena which piqued her curiosity. Throughout her journey she had met plenty of Saiyan along the way, "Oh? Tell me about this battle you had with the Saiyan Cipher." The android asked, even as she judged the viability of the fast food restaurants they encountered along the way. Restaurants with long queue were kicked out of the list, she didn't want to spend her time standing around waiting for the major part of their date no matter how good the food were. As she walked past she noticed couples linking to each other's arms or holding hands...they had yet to try that out. Her heart beat fast as she considered reaching out to grab her hand...it couldn't have been much more harder than touching her cheek could it? Yet those minute distance felt far away that she grew too self-conscious as she immediately point to a fast food joint labelled Burger queen. "...H-Here perhaps?"She had remembered Cipher had ordered one last time though her mood for it could easily change. It was not crowded as the other food join and from what she looked up it has decent rating as well. In the event that the Saiyan declined or was simply not in the mood for it she would just need to pull up the lists of food establisment that she dismissed earlier. Inwardly, the android facepalmed as she cursed herself for missing the opportunity. WC: 335/2354 Cipher

Providing a fair point about eating something light and fast, Cipher bobbed her head in an affirmative nod. Gliding her gaze over the vicinity served two purposes for the albino; checking out the vivid sights and looking for anywhere that suited the allotted criteria. She juggled speaking, walking and looking at the same time while their conversation progressed into talk of the Super Saiyan she fought months ago. “I felt power beyond comprehension, you know? Her name was Ipomea, and she issued a challenge that came with a reward if you could beat her. I can attribute most of the scars on my body to that one fight. Even without using her full strength, that Super Saiyan pushed me to my limits. But she evened it out, using one arm when I only had one at the time. Can’t even begin to describe how bloody we both were.” Some people might talk about something like this with distaste or pain—the saiyan, any saiyan, was the opposite. She talked about the grueling battle with enthusiasm as if she couldn’t wait to do it again. “I wanna become a Super Saiyan, too, then fight her again. Earn the right to fight her at her full power.” Grinning widely, she felt her heartbeat race at the prospect of becoming stronger and fighting the best. Win or lose, she would prove that she was worthy of her saiyan blood. It was slightly bittersweet. Cipher only met two saiyans other than her father. It disappointed her that she could rarely interact with her own kind, but Audrey was a saving grace that saved her from any depression that could have ensued. She had her, after all. Around that time, she noticed that the strip of the city they were in seemed to be a hotspot for couples. By the time she realized that Audrey pointed out a Burger Queen. “Hell yeah, sounds great to me. Last time I hit this place up I must’ve eaten twelve meals. Like I said before, don’t worry about how fancy the place is; it’s you being here that makes it fun.”-- Audrey

"Ipomea...? I've fought with her before." Audrey was surprised to hear the name. Well fighting wouldn't be quite right, it was more a sparring session with the Saiyan holding back 80% of her true power level. The android's smiled softly as she listened to Cipher describing her battle. It was hard not to get caught up with her enthusiasm...and when she voiced her desire to achieve the Saiyan transformation, the android subconsciously updated her own goal to help Cipher achieve just that. "Well, you're going to need to train on places other than Earth if you want to get stronger than you are now. My cruiser can bring you to where ever you wish to train. I can even offer to be your personal trainer and sponsor if you wish to join any tournament on other quadrants." the android realized that she may be a little forward at this point but seeing the Saiyan grew in her eyes filled her with happiness. "You just need to agree to represent my gym in doing so~" Having open her own gym before, she had trained several martial artist personally but she had yet to find a talent that can do so. While she could certainly offer what she did freely for Cipher, the android was sure she would be declined otherwise...she would at least need to show how it would benefit them both. "I'm glad that you approve~ There's something else that I wish to talk about...but let's wait until we buy these burgers first."If the Saiyan had eaten twelve meals here then it must be very good. Well, there's also the fact that the Saiyan eat a lot more compare to your average earthling. In contrast the android eat very little...her body was made to operate with very little need of food or water. As such the android stepped inside with her to join the queue, her eyes focused on the menu board. "Any recommendations?"the android wasn't quite particular about what she eat but as Cipher seem to be a regular of sorts, she probably have a favorite menu already. WCC: 355/2709 Cipher

“You have?” Cipher blinked, taken aback by the revelation of Audrey and Ipomea having indulged in combat together once before. “Well, I’ll be damned. What a small universe we live in.”“Oh?” Tilting her head to the side, her tail swayed and formed a vague shape resembling a question mark when Audrey made her proposition regarding training, sponsoring, and potentially representing her gym should she enjoy those acquisitions. Her lips crept into a smile while flecks of curiosity appeared in her golden eyes. Not only was she amused, but with her appetite already whet for acquiring strength, the idea piqued her interest. “Well, training closely with you and helping out your gym? My training has been stagnating lately, hate to say it, but I haven’t made a lot of progress. Sounds like a win-win situation for me no matter how I imagine it.” A thought whizzed in the back of her mind regarding if the android’s training regime would sate the spartan lifestyle of a saiyan. As her words implied, she genuinely could not detect an issue with the notion. Her expression sobered when the android expressed her desire to talk about something later, which got her wondering what that could be about. Curiosity paved its way on her features while they entered the familiar abode. She was immediately stricken with the thick aromas wafting through the air. Meat, the spices seasoning it, the omnipotent scent of fries amongst other food items. The interior was filled with enough individuals to easily claim a fairly busy status. Hearing Audrey’s question, the saiyan turned partially towards her and answered with no shortage of enthusiasm. “Well, the last time I was here I mostly had a bunch of Roadhouse Queens. Pretty huge. Barbeque sauce, onion rings on the burger and whatnot—awesome stuff. If you’re looking for something less imposing, then I’d recommend the BQ Single Stacker.”-- Audrey

The Saiyan had happily accepted her offer to train and help out with her gym, filling the android with joy and emotion. Her cheek had turned slightly reddish pink and in her mind she was already filled with various planning training regiment. Given the Saiyan's fondness of spartan regimen, her own hometown in Venus came to mind immediately. "I'm glad. We'll need to toughen you up before I bring you to Venus. You'll find that unlike Earth there's no shortage of training facilities, sparring partners or dangerous creatures to hunt. They even got sparring app which is sort of like a dating app here on Earth but you get to fight your "date" instead." As she explained to the Saiyan her hometown, one can hear a hint of fondness can be heard in her tone. It would be her first time in quite a while and this time with a precious friend. Hopefully things don't change too much since she left there, she imagined the Saiyan was counting on her to be her local tour guide. Upon hearing her recommendation, the android tilted her head slightly before she glanced at the signboard which show the menu. Huge was one word for it, she wasn't quite sure if she could fit the thing in her mouth without cutting it up...but when Cipher had suggested the BQ single stacker the android felt torn. It was indeed the usual one she would pick but with how Cipher going enthusiastically about the Roadhouse Queen, she ended up picking it. "I'll have one of the Roadhouse Queen then. You can..." the android paused slightly as she noticed one of the new sign that mentioned they were currently holding a food challenge for a limited amount of time. It displayed a rather huge burger and even offered a small amount of cash prize offered on top of having their meal free provided that they finished in time. "Do you think you're up for the challenge Cipher?" Despite her petite frame, the android had seen Cipher's voracious appetite. Unless the burger happen to be much bigger than shown on the display, she had complete faith in her girlfriend. WC: 362/3071 Cipher

”A sparring app...” Cipher’s expression conveyed pleasant surprise and amusement when she heard of the clever use of technology. ”Well, if the planet is that hardcore, then it sounds like it suits my interests perfectly.” If anything, it surprised her that it didn’t seem to have any overt association with the saiyans already. With the harsh climate and vigorous warrior tendencies in mind, it reminded her of the tales of her own ancestral land. ”Meet Up and Beat Up has a kind of snazzy tune to it, maybe I’ll suggest it and get some royalties.”It certainly served as motivation to get stronger. If Audrey cautioned her about the hazards there, then perhaps she was ill-suited to surviving exposure to that world for now. Hearing Audrey express interest in having one of the larger sandwiches on the menu, Cipher produced a small grin on her face. However, she noticed where the android’s gaze migrated and cocked her head to the side slightly. With unfamiliarity painting her visage, there was no doubt that the food challenge must have been a novel addition to the restaurant’s repertoire. Feeling challenged even before the other woman spoke up about it, she already rearranged in her mind what she would be dining on. She felt challenged, and she also wagered that may be the only thing on the menu that could sate her appetite to some extent. “Of course. Seems like it’s new, too. It’s free if you eat it all, plus the cash prize, but if you don’t you gotta pay for it, and it’s worth a pretty penny...” Dry laughter emanated from her. ”To top it off, don’t think anybody has eaten the whole thing yet, if the little blurb under it is still accurate. If they have, I’ll beat their record.”-- Audrey

Audrey's smile grew upon hearing Cipher readily accepted the food challenge. Had her appetite match the Saiyan in any way she would have join her for the fun of it but as of now the Roadhouse Queen will do. Turning towards the female cashier, she nodded and began order their meal. "A Roadhouse Queen for me and we'll be taking the challenge for the Queen's Majesty please."the android told her. Already she could hear sound of surprise coming from the other customers who have overheard her order. Given both their body frame, the android couldn't blame them as she too would have thought that they would be unable to finish such a meal in one sitting. "Certainly. Please take a seat while we prepare for the challenge. A waitress will be joining you both shortly as a timekeeper." the receptionist replied sweet after taking the payment and handing them out a receipt in return before barking orders to the kitchen staff to prepare the meal. Audrey realized that they may be deviating slightly from the plan of strollling around the city as they enjoyed their meal but she decided that she wouldn't mind. No matter, seeing her girlfriend taking on the food challenge would be memorable for their date. Such an occassion would definitely require a picture from her cellphone to remember or maybe two or three. The android led Cipher to one of the empty tables as she take in her surrounding. Aside from them there were families enjoying their meal, a couple, a group of rowdy boys laughing as they pat one on his back. Apparently the biggest of them tried to take the food challenge but failed to conquer it. The android glanced back to Cipher and smile, taking out her cellphone and put it on the table as she waited for their meal. "I never took food challenge myself. How about you?" Audrey inquired to pass the time, she imagined that this would not be Cipher's first rodeo. WC: 338/3409 Cipher

Well, well, well, it looked like people didn’t take on the challenge often, judging from the reaction of the cashier. Cipher grinned from ear-to-ear when she noticed the woman’s reaction. Granted, the warrior was not some pot-bellied man with a thick beard and beady-eyes, no—she looked like someone who has been honing and watching her frame for years and years. With that in mind, she supposed that she may give off the impression that she was going to lose this challenge, but that was where they were going to be very, very wrong. And that mistake of arrogantly putting up and ‘impossible’ challenge was going to cost them a fat penny, too. While she made her way towards the empty table, she looked around the room. A group of loud blokes were tending to their seemingly inconsolable friend. Directing a golden eye towards the plate, she picked up on some of the scraps of food that remained. It gave her a good idea of what the approximate size of her challenge may be. Since she could not fully deduce the size and nature of the food item, she failed to gain too much in terms of intelligence on the matter. Well, whatever. The woman loved surprises and what better way to surprise her than how convoluted her meal may be? It looked like Audrey wanted to take some pictures—at least that was what she deduced from the presence of her phone while she sat down at the table. Flashing a smile of her own in return, she listened to her question. Honestly, she never imagined that Audrey would be gungho over taking on food challenges. In turn, hearing that she had never taken one on before did not surprise her; that was further evidenced by the lack of astonishment on her face. “Nah, this is gonna be my first time with one. Me and my dad both eat a lot though, way more than my mother ever does. She makes him do all of the dishes though. Poor guy, there’s always stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks of plates and bowls from each person that needs to be washed. But hey—“ For a moment, she looked thoughtful while she cast her gaze outward, but now it returned to Audrey. “How about we talk prizes, more than just the monetary I’ll get for winning?” It would be easy to see why the saiyan’s smirk broadened when she added the following words: “Give me a kiss if I win?”-- Audrey | 421 words (+1 SM)

Audrey quirked her eyebrow slightly, tilting her head in response. With Cipher's confidence in taking the burger challenge, she had predicted that the woman had participated in at least 2-3 competition at the very least so hearing her not joining a single one before came as quite a surprise to her. Hearing her mentioned about her father makes the android quite excited, she had never told her much of her family before. When Cipher mentioned her dad had to wash his own mountain of plates, it was enough to draw a chuckle from the android. As she watched Cipher gaze outward, the android thought about asking more about her family but then was interrupted as the woman turned towards her. Curiosity was reflected on her face as she listened to her, wondering what kind of prizes she could be referring to beyond recognition and monetary one...until the woman told her what it was. "K-kiss?" The android repeated, now bearing a stunned look as her cheek slowly turned red. Just when she thought she had things handled, the Saiyan had ambush her while she's in the state of unpreparedness. Though she would never mention it towards Cipher, she had been planning to do that by the end of the date, even simulating scenarios that may lead to that. The expectant look on her face put pressure towards her and the android realized that she may be sending the wrong message if she hesitate any longer. "V-very well. I shall grant you one if you win." Come to think of it, she had never kiss another...which would mean this would be her first time. Just where should she kiss her? Should she wait for Cipher to indicate where? Or should she take the initiative and plant the kiss on her? Should she play it safe and go for the cheek or should she be bold and take her lips. The android was so occupied with such thoughts she barely noticed the waitress approached them with both their orders. "Here's your order Ma'ams. Roadhouse Queen and the Queen Majesty." the waitress smiled as she place both their orders on the table. Weighing almost 15 pounds, the Queen's Majesty burger easily dwarve her own...in fact, the android imagine it was big enough to be a meal of it's own. She could see there were multiple slices of bacons and cheese and fried eggs underneath them which leads to it's size and weight. "This burger is the ultimate food challenge for fast food lovers. The volume, the flavor, the calories...every aspect of this burger is majestic~ If you can succeed at eating the entire thing within the time limit given you'll be presented with the promised price as well as a picture on the wall of fame. Should you lose however, your picture will be hang upon the wall of shame. Would you still like to take the challenge?" the waitress said with a sweet tone but there's a hint of a smug look on her face. As she had indicated the hall of shame, the android could see plenty of pictures were hang there but on the hall of fame...there were none. "Time to earn your gift Cipher~"the android took her cellphone as she get ready to take pictures of her girlfriend tackling her burger. WC: 557/3966 Cipher
