"You want tell me why you're here? And why the hell you thought it was a smart idea to attack the capital of the Confederacy?" Duria said, surrounded by smoke from the blast. He was a bit scuffed and scorched, but otherwise looked fine.
Rubble shifted nearby, collapsing with a thunderous boom. Lute stood tall with his arm outstretched skill, watching intently behind mask wrappings. Duria only saw two remorseless scarlet orbs staring back at him from the shadows.
"We were bored," Lute said, his voice sharp and gruff.
The Saiyan didn't respond with words, rather his fist. Lute threw his arms up just in time to stop the wicked blow. Still, the force behind their collision gouged out a huge swath of the pavement into a sizable crater. Duria was pretty strong, way more than Lute had imagined. No wonder Kuueru had trouble with him. From what Lute understood, the warrior was one of Cam's elites.
They both flickered from sight in a blur. They appeared above the city, exchanging rapid blows in a furious melee. The sky thundered and rocked with each brutal impact. Smoke parted and dissolved as they passed over the tops of buildings. Those still had their windows intact, exploded, raining shards upon the streets. Street lights and lamps dimmed and their bulbs popped with a shower of sparks.
Throoom!
Lute swatted aside an enormous azure bolt of ki. The blob tumbled end over end, careening off into the distance. Somewhere outside of the city it detonated, casting a wicked fireball into the air.
"You're a strong bastard," Duria said.
Lute threw a few smaller ki blasts from his palms as a distraction. Duria went to swat them away, but the Demon King materialized beside him. A single punch sent the Saiyan tumbling head over feet. He crashed into a plaza, kicking up huge blocks of stone and breaking through an elaborate fountain, casting water everywhere. Lute straightened his back and folded his arms, waiting for the Saiyan to retaliate.
As Duria was pushing blocks off of him and clamoring to his feet, more Royal Guards arrived and opened fire on Lute. Ki blasts lit up the sky in rapid succession. Lute zipped around, avoiding them as he circled back towards the cluster of warriors. He opened his mouth and exhaled a concussive burst of ki, which rolled forward and clobbered them. The Guards were scattered across the city by it and wouldn't cause trouble for a few minutes until they regathered.
Duria managed to clock Lute from behind with an hammer blow. The strike sent the Namekian plowing through several warehouses. To stop the slide, he jammed his feet down into the ground. He dug up a deep trench through duracrete, dirt, and brick, shattering through several walls before finally slowing to a stop. Fighting in cities was so tiresome and irritating. There was so much junk around to get in the way.
Lute floated back up, only to be met with a veritable wall of buzzing blue ki headed his way. It surprised him. Never did he expect Duria to fight so recklessly in the capital. Pukinpa had already sustained considerable damage, and this would make it even worse. Lute charged headlong into the blast, his purple ki enshrouding his form he caused it to halt and bow inward. Gritting his teeth, he surged fotward as hard as he could--using his titanic power level to simply punch through and out the other-side. The blast dispersed in an instant, broken apart by Lute's forceful collision.
"What the-"
Lute cuffed Duria in the chin. Crimson sprayed from his nose and mouth and he tumbled back down, crashing into the city below with a puff of dust and shower of debris.
Lowering his fist, the Demon King simply cracked his neck and took a minute to analyze in the situation. His little duel with the Saiyan warrior had caused a huge ruckus and plenty of property damage. The plan had changed considerably from the original intention. Still, what plans held together in the face of reality?
Very few.
This Saiyan warrior doesn't seem to be the type to let up. I really don't want have to kill him. How are things going over there? Lute reached out to Kaijin and Kuueru through his telepathy.

The Emperor of the Galaxy? Instead of standing down, retaliating, or screaming, the soldier Absolut had just downed and demanded to surrender instead declared the young Frost Demon to be a fool, in a harsh, metallic voice which betrayed that something was off about him and his brethren. Absolut's eyes trailed to where the villain gestured to look towards, only to witness the spunky orange-haired girl who was now his ally. She was just as enthused with the prospect of finally achieving something heroic, something meaningful, as he was, taking on the other villain while he pinned down the first one, and offering him to take care of the hiding masked man as soon as they're done. A small trail of blood was flowing from her nose, which was slightly worrying, but... ...well... The masked man she offered to take on together suddenly burst in out of nowhere, and, before, Absolut's eyes, he struck the woman with an invisible force of ki, sending her slamming straight into one of the buildings. Immediately after, he started walking towards his victim, right hand outstretched, preparing a blast of crimson-red energy, all while a single sentence floated across the battlefield, burrowing into the shocked, agape Frost Demon. What will you do, Blood Prince? It brought up many memories, and none of them positive. It brought up all of the memories when he could only stand and watch as evil continued to have its way. Where he, despite all of his tenacity and anger, all he would achieve is a seat at the spectator's lounges or, better yet, a one way trip to the ground, after being pummeled of course. Especially everything which happened on Abbayor. Especially when he watched his father and Mr. Cam perish. Especially when he had to watch Abbayor and his family locked there turn into a small speck in a ship's window... No more. No more. As Absolut watched the masked man threaten the woman with fury in his eyes, his left arm, upon hearing the sound of someone fizzling into existence behind him and slash at the air, moved autonomously, catching the incoming blade and holding onto it tightly, not letting it move an inch. The Frost Demon's foot sunk deeper into the pinned Riot Soldier, pushing him deeper into the ground. What will I do? What can I do?The answer was obvious. He has been screwing around for too long. He's been soft, he hasn't been letting himself go enough. Everyone was right - Cam was right, Polaris was right, Kamui was right... the world does not tolerate heart-eyed paragons. It wants you to be a murderer, a cold-blooded pragmatic, nothing else. If the world wants to break him, then, then he's going to respond by breaking the world. " I'm going to burn you to ashes and throw you to the wind." Powered by rage and frustration, all of the bottled up power within his body, one which had only managed to release once before, against Kamui, now coupled with the Namekian's gift, pushing his power level even farther, got released in a single powerful burst. With the powerful burst of power hopefully blowing the Riot Soldiers away, Absolut's eyes locked on the masked villain with everything else in the Universe fading from existence to his mind, an energy claymore construct forming in his right hand before the Frost Demon bolted towards his newfound opponent with immense speed. Only two things clouded his mind at this point - the first was how to save the innocent woman from being blasted to bits, and the latter was how many pieces to slice the villain into to try to fix the gaping, bleeding hole in his soul. To answer the first, the young Frost Demon, with a powerful scream leaving his lungs, slashed with his construct weapon at the masked villain's left hand, aiming to try to cut it off cleanly and thus eliminate the energy blast before it could deal any more damage. To answer the second... he slashed and slashed and slashed. Each one with greater and greater ferocity, but less and less concentration and logical sense behind them, any thought of, say, trying to strike the enemy in his weak points or where he might not be guarding swiftly thrown at the way's side and forgotten. ICE COLD At least amongst this chaos of a mission, her words to Kaijin didn't fall on deaf ea---mind? She responded simply to the man with a beaming smile after his thanks through the telepathic link. Though, it would soon be squandered by an attack on the woman. Still, she was no pushover, she could take what Kaijin, and these Riot Bots had to throw her way. She had no plans on dodging however. Now she was the thespian. Dancing along the stage as a damsel in distress for Absolut to narrowly save from certain death. This was all going according to plan, thankfully. Still, her eyes shot to the sky as thunderous auras slammed into one another in the distance. It was Lute, and the other aura she recognized as Duria. He sure caught her off guard on her mission a week prior, luckily, the demoness and Zarun were able to escape and wipe the memories of the encounter from the Saiyan warrior's mind. Suddenly, there Kaijin was. His fist leveled against her face. Right, smack dab, in the middle. She flew backwards and into the building to her rear. Smoke plumed from the crater she had made in the building with her disguises' petite frame. Streaks of crimson now poured from her nose and lips, there was clearly some 'internal damage' done in the process of all the vicious attacks. She managed to open her eyes just in time to notice the crimson energy focused right towards her. She managed to push herself from the rubble, but immediately collapsed back down into the crater she lay. "U-Ugh, it's….no use, damn it." Kuueru mumbled while looking at her untimely demise. Still, Absolut seemed determine as ever to be the hero this day. This was exactly what they needed. Just then the Demon King's voice rang through her head. She listened intently, he spoke of Duria of course, as well as inquired about how their side of the mission was going. 'Just lovely, I'm currently sitting in a crater about to get obliterated by Kaijin. It seems that the young emperor just blew his load though. He should be sleeping soon if that spell you put on him works as planned.' "I'm going to burn you to ashes and throw you to the wind."
Not quite what Kuueru was expecting. Though, she could feel something shift in the young Frost Demon's aura. It grew angry, brash and aggressive. His rage fueled his power, along with Lute's gift of power the boy managed to over double his original strength. Kuueru found herself smiling inside, but on the outside, she had to maintain her dismay of being obliterated soon. She sighed, accepting the cruel fate, but young Absolut wasn't ready to lay down and let another victim die. He used a concussive blast to blow the Riot Boys away, and then moved towards the masked man, Kaijin. The scream split her ears, but truly explained Absolut's pain and rage. The weeks prior of watching not only his father, but mentor die right before his eyes. It was a tremendous burden that much was for sure. Kuueru could empathized with the boy, still, her thoughts worried about how such a broken soul would act in the face of being a newly crowned emperor. There would be a lot of therapy, a lot of guidance, and a lot of work on his and their parts. In order to get this boy up to the standards that everyone in this Empire needed, they would all have to be devoted. Absolut slashed, and again, and again. He was unrelenting. With as much energy as he was expending, it wouldn't be long before he dropped to the ground and found the sweet embrace of slumber. Kuueru looked towards the other men, her mind managing to shoot off another message in the midst of the other two's altercation. 'He's using way too much energy; the spell should be popped soon. I think you have this timing right Kaijin. You're doing great."
Kuueru once again managed to pull herself from the dirt. This time she warily stumbled towards the men. She had to give one last performance to really push her point. She stumbled and limped a few meters from Kaijin before holding a hand up towards the masked man. In her palm a small orange ki blast barely managed to form. She shot it, not caring if it hit, did any damage, or had any effect on Kaijin. Still, she mustered it up and sent it off. Then she fell. Right before the men her face hit the dirt. "Damn," Kuueru murmured before letting her eyes fall shut. Her breathing shallowed, and it almost resembled that she had dropped dead on the spot. If young Absolut hadn't released all the borrowed energy yet, perhaps this would be enough to push him over the edge.

The child had snapped.
The moment he had waited for had come sooner than expected. But just as swiftly as hoped. Kaijin wasn't exactly all for this plan. To him, it seemed to hurt their chances of a successful capture and retreat, the longer they spent entertaining the ego of a child. However, Kuueru insisted that Absolut needed this, and that ultimately it would facilitate the child's taking of the throne later. To this effect, Kaijin begrudgingly accepted the role of "villain" in a most theatrical performance meant to play to Absolut's emotions. Every word, every action, meant to goad Absolut to reach this moment.
When pushed to the edge, the child refused to fall. Instead, he pushed back.
"I'm going to burn you to ashes and throw you to the wind."
Kaijin's vision was suddenly captivated with numerals, as his detection system picked up a new power level. Absolut's power level was rising...skyrocketing even. Kaijin's eyes widened as he refocused on Absolut.
Such levels of power were not recorded in his data. What could this mean? Was Absolut stronger than he predicted? Could he potentially reach higher levels of power with enough emotional provoking? What were his true limits?
Thoughts swirled in spiral patterns across the Android's cranium, but like always he barely had enough time to sort them out before hell itself was upon him. With a burst of energy, Absolut smacked his Riot Soldiers aside like flies, his mere aura causing them to shoot backwards, the Riot Soldier who attacked Absolut from behind crashing into a nearby building, and the one pinned by Absolut prior only sank deeper into the earth as a widening depression was torn open by Absolut's crushing power.
Is this the type of power emotions can unlock? His power keeps rising..
And before Kaijin could react, Absolut was upon him, his energy constructed claymore slashing down upon his hand, where his energy blast was charging. Try as the Android did to draw his hand back, the enraged Changeling was faster, bringing about a clash of energy versus metal, followed by a shower of shrapnel and sparks. Something was wrong...very wrong.
Error. Anomaly Detected.
My hand.
Kaijin's eyes widened as his eyes drifted down to rest upon the stump that used to be his hand, the shower of metal from his gauntlet distracted from the fact that there was no blood that spewed forth from the stump. Although, one could piece together the possibility of the energy blade cauterizing such a wound, searing it shut just as quickly as the wound was created, with that same energy blade, due to the force of impact, completely obliterating the man's hand. To add to such a misconception, and to hide the now exposed wires, Kaijin drew his sleeve over the stump.
But, there was another aspect to this, that brought about a sense of unease over the Android. Even though he was holding back a great percentage of his strength against the Changeling, Absolut had revealed a near limitless reserve of power, tied almost directly to his anger. With such increase in power came a near pinpoint accuracy and energy control that could very well rival Kaijin's own energy control. If attacks such as this continued....
There was no time to think about that.
Putting his reflexes on priority setting, Kaijin sprung into action, his remaining arm flying out to intercept. His red eyes constantly moving about to follow Absolut's swift strikes, his body moving in tandem to attempt to properly defend.
As the two were locked in their deadly dance, Kaijin slowly began to adjust, increasing his power output ever so slightly. Even with one hand, Kaijin was rather quick to defend against Absolut's follow up slashes, the rage filled barrage swiftly becoming completely denied by the Android. Rearing back, Kaijin cocked back his remaining fist, as if to slug Absolut across the face.
Such an action was interrupted by Kuueru's blast. While weak in nature, it halted Kaijin's movement for a second as the energy sphere collided against his frame, pushing him ever so slightly in reaction to the impact force.
"Damn it, no!" Kaijin cursed with mock surprise, his voice distorted by the mask, as he saw the glint of Absolut's energy blade emerge from the dark smoke that filled his vision from the blast. The blade penetrated Kaijin's compromised defense, striking him hard in the chest. Upon contact, the condensed energy sealed within the blade exploded outwards, sending a giant energy wave outwards that would blow the masked villain across several blocks, blue light bathing the sky as Kaijin vanished within it, completely engulfed by the blast. Dark smoke rose from the moment of contact.
Absolut had won. He had vanquished his foe. Kaijin's battered and broken mask lay at Absolut's feet. The last indication of his existence. As if triggered by the "demise" of the masked man, the Riot Soldiers all ceased fighting, straightening up, as if brought to attention. Then, their heads slumped forward, as if deactivated. Then, they vanished, as if unsummoned by some mystical means.
While some may see the sudden disappearance of the Riot Soldiers as weird, the crushing reality of the situation was real. The attack was over. And Absolut was responsible for it.
In some building....
"What a drag...." Kaijin muttered as he lifted himself out of the rubble of some dilapidated building whose stability was only worsened by a large wave of energy crashing into it.
While he had allowed Absolut's last offensive to break past his defense and to blow him across town, he hadn't quite escaped such a blow unharmed. Scratches adorned his body, along with tears along with alabaster colored artificial skin. His armored disguise completely destroyed, along with his jacket, Kaijin sported only a grey tank-top styled undershirt as his upper body wear. But, he had made the sacrifice so the illusion could go on. Fragments of his disguise laid in tattered pieces throughout town, with the body itself seemingly destroyed by such a wide ranged, destructive attack. To go along with such, Kaijin had also called off his Riot Soldiers, seemingly deactivating them and causing them to disappear. That too, was an act. Kaijin had merely activated their built in stealth generators, causing them to camouflage with their surroundings. While that would halt the distraction and chaos for a moment, he need only keep it up until Absolut was knocked unconscious for transport, before resuming so that the Leviathans could make their ultimate getaway.
Speaking of getaways, he needed to make his way back over there. Looking down at his ruined right hand, Kaijin grunted in annoyance. The nanobots were already running across the stump, new wires budding where the old ones had been severed and burned away. A skeleton form of his right hand was taking shape, his nanotech moving to correct the "anomaly" that was being crippled by replacing the hand and enhancing it to prevent injury in the same manner from occurring a second time.
"Shifting into Phantom Disguise. Holographic Technology is a go." Kaijin muttered under his breath as he reached into his pants pocket, taking out a small handheld device. Holographic Disguise Technology. The same brand that was installed into each of the Riot Soldiers, which had allowed them to pass as Xeno refugees earlier in the attack. Although this one was detachable, given that Kaijin had little intent to install that into his own hardware. Attaching it to his chest, the Android fiddled with a few buttons before his appearance shifted.
Closing his eyes briefly, the good doctor attempted to establish contact once more with Lute and Kuueru. As he did so, he leapt down from the building, making his way back to the battlefield.

Duria was out of the equation for a moment, perhaps stunned or downed. The Saiyan warrior didn't return to attack Lute immediately, so that was good. But, he wasn't about to stick around and wait for him to. The fight had done enough damage to Pupkina. It was time for them to wrap this operation up. The Demon King exhaled through his nostrils and turned his attention back to Absolut and his allies. It appeared things were reaching their apex.
Lute had given Absolut immense power, at least in comparison to his normal level. It was but a taste, of true potential. Perhaps the young Emperor would see now what sort of power it required to make a difference in this universe. Lute could only hope. It would make his attempt to put the boy on the throne even easier. Absolut was young, inexperienced. But, he was Polaris's son. That counted for more than anything he could accomplish. The Empire wasn't the Galactic Patrol anymore. It wasn't an autonomous organization. It relied on the Empire. Polaris had seen to that, whether he intended for it or not.
Centralized power led to more stability, but at times it made things rougher when the leadership was threatened or taken out of the equation.
Lute suppressed his power and landed, running atop the buildings. He kept low and within the shadows, avoiding detection the best he could. As he ran along, he returned to the scene only to see the finale. He watched through his twin scarlet orbs as Kaijin was "defeated". In reality, the android had retreated to safety. Lute followed after him. It would take a moment or two before the sleep spell finally kicked in and Absolut went night-night. Kuueru was there, and ready to catch him soon as he fell.
They would then make their exit. No doubt the Confederacy would be confused as to Absolut's disappearance.
It felt a bit wrong, to stage this whole thing--to lie to the boy. But, Lute knew it was for his own good. None of them would reveal the truth of the situation. No doubt Absolut would have questions as to how he got off Kabocha. Lute had answers prepared. It was better they be simple. He would tell Absolut that he had come to find him, to ask him to return to the Empire and that when he found the boy he was incapacitated in the street--having stopped a great threat. Just as a true hero would.
Lute felt Kaijin's telepathic message a moment before arriving above him. He crossed both arms and let himself drop from the busted roof and land beside the android.
"You did well," Lute said. He peeled his mask off his face and threw it to the side. "I'm impressed. I appreciate your flexibility with the change in plans. I think in the end it will prove to be the right choice to have made."
And then the Demon King froze, stammering as if he didn't know quite how to say what he was about to say. In fact, he had no idea why he wanted to say it. Usually he could care less about what people thought of him. But, Doctor Vex was different. Lute did care. He wanted to ensure that the good Doctor remained his stalwart ally.
"I-I am sorry I called you a computer. That was brash, in the heat of the moment and uncalled for. Just know that I see you as far superior to any computer. I see you as a man of your own."

The Emperor of the Galaxy? It was over. It was actually over. And not over because he had, once again, bitten more than he can chew. Not like every single time in the past. No, the complete opposite. Even in his frenzied, screaming state, Absolut could tell that the masked villain before his eyes was taken completely by surprise. Though, even with one of his arms busted, he was able to defend himself fairly well, his speed and power increasing with each passing second, it could not be denied that he was forced to the defensive. He... he should make a mistake... one of these seconds... Hopefully before Absolut's flood of adrenaline fueled strength vanished. The young Frost Demon could already tell that unexpected exhaustion was starting to grip his mind. He was not wasting away his energy that quickly, was he? And yet, if he was not in a life or death match against a villain threatening to leave hundreds of corpses in his wake, including some of his unexpected allies, then he could have definitely gone for a little nap... And yet, it didn't seem like the villain was going to give in. His movements were getting faster and Absolut's weaker, and if this continues, then he could finally have a gap to make a counterattack... Then the spunky Earthling girl, whom Absolut was fighting for to protect like everyone else, suddenly intervened. An energy blast from her hands, the last attack she was able to muster before her collapse to the ground, struck the villain straight into his frame, dazing him for a few seconds - which the young Frost Demon took as the opportunity to strike. With inhumane force building up from adrenaline, fury, newly unlocked inner strength and the Namekian's gift all added together, Absolut slashed his energy construct claymore, screaming. Except, something was off. The screechy, high-pitched, energetic voice one would associate with Absolut was still there, but no longer alone, sharing the scream with others. As if it was followed by an immediate echo, or a second, deeper voice layer underneath. Regardless, that was it. For now. The villain was blown away by the powerful strike, no longer visible in the battlefield, which gave Absolut a moment of reprieve. The energy construct in his hand faded into the air, and Absolut remained standing for a few seconds, heavily breathing, his eyes staring into the sky. Every single fiber in his body wanted to celebrate. Raise his hand into the air and embrace himself in the joy of victory. For the first time in forever... all by himself... he saved the day. He's not just a failure, a piece of loose baggage holding the real heroes down, but the hero of the day himself. For the first time in forever... he actually made a difference. How many of the people here would be dead had he not disobeyed orders and rushed to help? And yet... Will this victory bring Mr. Cam back? Will it bring Father back? Will it bring Mother back?
Can it make up for the fact that I watched them all die and didn't raise a finger? If one were to take a look at the young Frost Demon right now, they might notice some... weird marks starting to form on his body... Until suddenly, they vanished. I-I'm supposed a hero, am I not? I should...
...worry about the pain of others first, not my own...The aura around his body, and the rage fueled power level his body exhibited, vanished into nothingness, and the young Frost Demon turned around, immediately running towards the orange-haired woman who had joined the first alongside him, only to end up in such critical condition. This whole victory will be for nought if even one of the people he was supposed to save dies... " Miss! Miss! Are you okay?!" Absolut never got to hear an answer, however, or even check. Soon, his asleep body fell to the ground, sliding for a few meters from the inertia before stopping next to Kuueru. (683 words, total 6521)

ICE COLD The demoness sighed from the rubble she lay nestled in. It was comfortable, but the demoness did not enjoy playing the victim in this scenario at all. Still, for the greater good of the future Emperor they all had to cooperate and boost his ego. . . for now. Her last blast managed to catch Kaijin off guard, and boy did he play up the theatrics. He was getting distracted by the orange haired woman and attacked by the young frost demon. Unfortunately, perhaps Kaijin was playing the part too well, Absolut sliced straight through the android's hand, which Kaijin quickly concealed. While she was meaning for the android to play up a defeat, she had almost forgotten him a machine able to fix himself later. It wasn't as easy for a mortal or another race to simply just regrow a hand; unless you were Lute that was. She had seen him lose multiple limbs in their time of knowing one another. Kuueru nearly sat up out of her 'grave' at the sight of Kaijin losing a hand. It was instinctual; her comrade was hurt, but in this moment, he wasn't her ally. Still, she was unsure to what extent the doctor could even sense; did he even feel his limbs missing or attacks plastering his body? It was a thing that she had forgotten to inquire in their spare, yet frequent time together. Either way, she kept her head down, her eyes narrowing and pretending to be closed. Kaijin was blasted off by Absolut's next attack, his body hurling far and into some buildings. Kuueru couldn't tell if they were already decimated before or after the android's impact however. Still, the Riot bots around the area froze, and then suddenly disappeared. It seemed that this was the way that Kaijin would make his defeat known; he thought about this a lot despite this being a plan they had worked up only minutes before. The demoness did note that she didn't hear the thunderous bouts of fighting in the skies. For now, it seemed that Lute had handled the Saiyan who appeared to give him a bit of trouble earlier. Duria was a force to be reckoned with, no doubt, but Lute was on a level unlike any other in the group. His power was something of mysterious origins, even Kuueru hadn't asked him how he amassed such a strong and vast store of strength. Her eyes shot back towards Absolut. He was on the verge of dropping to his ass. From here the woman could note the strange markings that began to envelope his skin and bio armor. This must have been Lute's spell at work, at least, Kuueru had hoped the boy didn't have much power left. Still, he seemed alert to the situation and quickly ran towards the orange haired woman, the worry in his expression and voice. Then he dropped. His body skidded to halt, right beside of her ironically. Was she supposed to catch him? "Oh, I'm okay, don't worry young one," Kuueru whispered under her breath before rising from the rubble. Chunks of debris and dust fell from her frame as she patted herself off. She rolled the young boy over, her eyes scanning over him to make sure the spell did indeed take effect; once satisfied she hoisted the boy over her shoulder, her hand firmly upon his lower back to hold him in place. 'Looks like we have our catch of the day. The spell is in full effect, he should be out for a few hours; at least long enough for us to return to Mitra or wherever we're heading.'
Kuueru took fight, but low. She hovered through the streets and alleyways, looking for the other two in her party. Their energy signatures were low and hidden, but they couldn't be far. She headed in the direction that Kaijin had been launched off in; however, it looked like the doctor had already began his trek back to the battlefield. Her eyes looked at him, his disguise clearly perplexing, but she could recognize him straight away. Lute was quickly behind, his outfit rather; skin tight. "Hey, I suppose we should bounce as quickly as we came. The relief efforts will be here shortly. Seems, there was a bit more collateral damage than anticipated; but no losses of life on my end." Kuueru debriefed before pulling the small shard from her pocket. It was what was given to them all earlier to allow them to freely travel back to Hollow, she smiled at the others, her hand activating the azure jewel before she shifted and twisted from view. Back on deck. That's where she popped into view. Everything was just like when they left, the crew still hard at work. Kuueru sighed, her disguise melting away back into her familiar pink-haired visage. She set the young frost demon in an empty chair and took a seat next to him. She was tired. Tired from not only the mission, but all the work she had been putting in for the Empire lately. "Mission complete huh?" Kuueru mumbled as the rest of the party arrived on the desk, her tired purple eyes glancing them over.

At least there were no casualties.
Ultimately, he considered his operation a success. While there had been quite a great deal of collateral destruction to Pukinpa, it was rather unrealistic to believe that there wouldn't be. A distraction to draw even the attention of the Royal Guard would have to be something city threatening. The destruction caused by Kaijin and his Riot Soldiers by comparison to what could have been done was quite mild, in fact, with dozens...perhaps even hundreds of lives that could have been extinguished by the Android ended up being saved instead. The only real loss was the loss of his hand, and even that was being rebuilt as he walked.
The streets by this point were deserted, the occupants of the neighborhoods surrounding the destruction having either evacuated the area with their families or having shuttered themselves in their houses, praying to the heavens that the carnage and destruction did not stretch to their neck of the woods. Little did they know that the destruction was over, and that they had been spared from the seemingly never-ending carnage that only existed in their minds.
As he walked along the road that would lead him, at least in part, back to where he had last encountered Absolut, a string of numerals would flash across his vision, alerting him to the arrival of a new presence. Of course, the soft sound of footsteps hitting the ground served as another indicator of a new presence, and gave the Android sufficient cause to turn around and meet his newest visitor.
And lo and behold, it was Lute.
Many people viewed Kaijin as a rather mature, soft spoken yet highly intelligent Android. However, he wasn't always that way. As the man always seemed to say, his current appearance, his current intelligence, and his current combat ability wasn't always this way, it was acquired through accumulation of data and overall synchronizing and fusing with many different mediums, the likes of which ranging from his creator, Doctor Janus's supercomputer, to even a few choice Androids from her "failed collection" bin. Yet, even through all the brains, all the confidence, all the deadpan expressions, laid the child-like Android originally created to be a killing machine.
So, he couldn't help that a side of him was still a bit immature when it came to the emotions department. Sue him. This was rather new territory for all parties involved. Crossing his arms, Kaijin's head slowly turned away as Lute landed next to him. Yes, he had done it. He was giving Lute the silent treatment.
However, he hesitated slightly when Lute stumbled upon an apology. It was an awkward and clumsy one, and certainly hinted to the fact that Lute wasn't used to being sorry about something, especially about something as trivial as calling Kaijin a computer, which, to be fair, he was. Nothing about Kaijin was organic, after all. However, it was in that clumsiness, and the awkwardness of it all, that alluded to the sincerity of it. He was sorry, truly sorry for calling Kaijin a computer. And saw him as an organic, a man of flesh and blood, just as Lute himself was. Words he rarely ever heard.
Closing his eyes, Kaijin turned back to Lute and sighed heavily.
"I thank you for your sincerity. There are few beings that can understand...truly understand, how it feels to not be of flesh and blood. To not exist. Thus, my desire is simply to truly exist. My apologies if I responded irrationally." The Android responded, smiling softly, indicating that all was forgiven, about three seconds before Kuueru jumped into existence before them.
"Hey, I suppose we should bounce as quickly as we came. The relief efforts will be here shortly. Seems, there was a bit more collateral damage than anticipated; but no losses of life on my end."
Kaijin nodded, noting the unconscious Absolut over her shoulder. The mission, despite the shift in focus mid mission, had been a success, and with few incidents. The time had come to return home.
"Collateral damage on my end is mostly to architecture. No deaths reported, at most the occasional broken limb. I lost two Riot Soldiers to the Royal Guard, although the failsafe activated as planned and their bodies have been completely erased. The rest have returned to me in dynocapsule form." Kaijin said, indicating a dynocapsule in his right hand. Shortly before Lute's arrival, the Riot Soldiers, after deactivating their stealth generators, had reported before Kaijin for debriefing, in which the Android scientist recalled them to their dynocapsules for easy transport. The loss of two of them had been unfortunate, but frankly it could have been worse.
Plus, he had acquired sufficient data on this mission, which would only help improve the model.
"I believe it's time to return, then." Kaijin said, fishing his own shard from his pocket. He fumbled for a moment with the shard, unsure how to activate it. Whether he had finally figured it out, or he had simply fumbled and fought with the shard enough to where he had activated it by luck alone, one could never be sure. Although the latter could be inferred to be the most probable.
Nevertheless, as soon as Kaijin reappeared on the ship, he let out a sigh of relief. While he was not tired like the others, he found himself relieved that such a sensitive mission had passed. Now that the physically taxing part was over, the mentally taxing part was going to begin as soon as the young prince woke up.
"So, now we must simply convince a boy who wants to play comic book superhero to take his father's throne over millions of people, and have those millions of people respect him in either the same manner, or greater so. What a joy." Kaijin mused, chuckling softly as he opened such commentary to the floor. He finished such a statement off by snapping to one of the guardsmen on the bridge, who immediately snapped to attention.
"You! Go make me a mug of hot chocolate please. Extra marshmellows. I have worked long and hard today, and deserve a treat. Go me." Kaijin finished off before walking over to Absolut, kneeling before the unconscious child to give him a once over and to check his vitals.
