Creed Cybernetics Headquarters, Tech Tech
If there was one thing that Kaijin loved, it was progress. These past few weeks had pushed the Android leagues ahead of schedule. Between meeting Demon King Lute and Kuueru, the Baroness of a planetoid called Hollow, Kaijin had found himself enveloped in an organization known as the Leviathans, dedicated to helping one another achieve their goals and improve their own selves. With that came the Android's inclusion into the ranks of the Galactic Empire, although his actual...well...ranking wasn't precisely established yet. But hell, he figured with time he'd sort that out. What was more important was the funding he was receiving from both Creed Cybernetics and the Galactic Empire. Andrew C. Creed had, during what was supposed to be a tour of the man's facility, had expressed mutual interest in a partnership. Well, technically Kaijin had inquired first, which was how he was able to tell the feeling was mutual between the two, and had thus established the deal. Since then, Kaijin had been back and forth. While he was establishing his lab on Hollow for his more...private projects, he made quite the use out of Creed's facilities, and with it, the establishment and development of Project Ambience.
Cybernetics capable of two functions. One was for organics, and the other for battle ready automatons. The first version of Project Ambience was what Creed had already developed, with a few choice additions of his own. The goal of the project was to incorporate these cybernetics into compatible species, the likes of which were listed in Kaijin's data reports, and would essentially allow the individual to draw upon their latent Ki and formulate powerful displays of energy, without the vigorous training, allowing them to compete with foes well beyond their power level. If the prototype proved successful in testing, and would then proceed to the production line, Kaijin predicted that the technology would find the most commercial success in the criminal laden sectors of Space Vegas, and the war torn independent worlds across the Eastern Quadrant, with Arcose most definintely becoming a frequent buyer after the death of Councilor Kelpo Baas at the Peace Accords. He could also see the technology becoming useful to the Kabochan Confederacy and the world of Kabocha itself, however to a lesser extent, given the Kabochans were a rough and tumble warrior race already, without the need for such a crutch. However, even for the trained and vicious warrior, such technology would only make them stronger, and bring out their inner potential.
Version One of Project Ambience was for profit. Version Two was a side project that could see some benefits in the market, both the free market and black market, but was more for Kaijin's own interest. Project Ambience Version Two was strictly for cyborgs and completely synthetic automatons, due to it's technological makeup. In addition to being able to bring out one's latent energy into powerful displays of artificial energy, Version Two went even farther, going as to be capable of absorbing ambient Ki in the atmosphere around them, with such even being capable of absorbing enemy Ki blasts, and absorbing it into their own bodies. From there, the organic Ki would undergo a swift and efficient reaction, converting the natural energy into energy usable by the organics, which could then be used to dramatically increase one's combat ability, from super enhanced physical attacks, to world scorching beams of energy firing across space. With such a creation, Kaijin predicted that automatons equipped with such advanced technology would find themselves at the forefront of their design line, with destructive power unmatched by most others. Hell, their destructive levels, due to Project Ambience upgrades, would rise in accordance with their foes, even. For the more energy their foes busted out, the more taken in by the droids, resulting in more potent power.
With that, Kaijin constructed the most brilliant plan for moving forward with Project Ambience. But first, he had to test what he had already created, and fix the glitches and kinks that may or may not exist in the design. And, he had to present it to Creed himself.
Which was what brought them together today. As Kaijin's shoes clicked against the white tiling as he made his way over to the "Testing" wing of Creed Cybernetics, Kaijin checked his watch one more time, ensuring that the rendezvous time was correct for about the fifteenth time. He had requested that Creed come to witness the testing of both versions of the Project Ambience prototypes. So that he could have a second eye to witness, and so the two could discuss.
Entering the Testing ring, Kaijin nodded to his team. A conglomerate of the best scientific minds in the entire company. Kaijin had observed each researcher personally during his first week, and from there handpicked and promoted the best to work with him. The sharpest minds, the most innovative, creative and loyal people. He needed all these things to create only the best. He constantly challenged them with new ideas, and welcomed feedback, both negative and positive. He smiled slightly at the fact that they were teaching him as much as he was teaching them.
"Is Creed here yet?" Kaijin inquired calmly, his red eyes resting on a single human male. Sels, his name was.
Sels shook his head briefly before readjusting his glasses," No, Doctor. He should be arriving any moment now, though."
Kaijin nodded and placed his hands behind his back, overseeing the massive room. It would soon come to a head here. The first testing of his latest masterpiece. He couldn't qualm the excitement. Even the mere thought of it had him giddy, unable to keep still, like a small child upon entering a toy store filled with all the cool toys they saw on TV the past week.
"Oh is he going to enjoy this...."

Capsule Corp was within his reach, after all this time. Creed would succeed where is father failed, he would make his name among the galactic Titans. Judging by the messages he had gotten from Kaijin, he should be excited for the results. Creed had never seen the kid so giddy with enthusiasm before, it was as if he wasn’t even a cold heartless robot. Project Ambience would not only make him a Galactic superpower, it would allow him to enhance his suit’s power tenfold… Perhaps it was time to show Kaijin this project. Creed would snap, causing the door in his office to slide open. Loud thudding steps would echo as a large metallic figure would saunter in. Creed would hold his hands behind his back and grin. “Are you ready to leave, my friend?” The figure would nod before pulling up it’s emerald hood. “Good. Just remember to do exactly as your told” Creed would lean down and press a button on his desk. “Rine, prepare the tram to the Testing facility. I shouldn’t keep Kaijin waiting for much longer” “Should I tell Kaijin that you’ll be late?” “No, I think he’ll understand once we get there” The doors to the testing facility would slide open, followed by the clacking of Creed’s dress shoes. He would light up a cigarette and blow a puff of smoke out. “Kaijin, Sels. It’s good to see you two again” Creed would turn to face Kaijin. “So, you’ve done it then? Finished our little Capsule Corp killer and done the impossible? I have to say that I’m utterly impressed by your abilities Kaijin. You have done what no other scientist or engineer has been able to do for years on end. Of course we built a minor prototype, but you, you helped to make that prototype advance by years. Hell, from what I’ve heard, this new machine you’ve developed looks fully finished compared to the old Prototype. You were worth every Zeni spent” Creed would remove the Cigarette and turn towards the open doorway. Two Emerald eyes sat in the darkness of the doorway. No sensors would pick it up, nor would anyone hear it coming. It could be more than stealthy when necessary. “I’m not the only one who was impressed by your efforts. Though I think my friend here is more interested in the end product. You may enter now” The figure slowly stepped into the room with loud thudding steps. As the light shone on its metallic form. The thing had a constant glare over it’s mask, or perhaps it’s face. Three large power cores sat along it’s chest, glowing lightly. The figure had a cloak across it’s shoulder with a hood. “I’ve taken to calling him, Armageddon. If you saw him during combat you would understand why. He will be serving as my bodyguard and agent from this point forward. Sometimes I need to deal with undesirables in rather… distasteful ways” Creed would place a hand on it’s shoulder. “With Project Ambience, he should be nigh unstoppable. A pure juggernaut of force. Capable of leveling entire planets if he so chose to” Creed would return his focus to Kaijin and Sels. “Well, now introductions are out of the way, let’s begin this presentation, Kaijin” Word Count: 545 Doctor Kaijin Vex

Finally, after several minutes of impatient pacing, the CEO of Creed Cybernetics finally arrived, with his entourage as usual. However, instead of the usual crew of six or more, Creed only arrived with a singular automaton that took the size of six or more. Kaijin was never that much of a fan of giant Androids. There was no particular reasoning behind it, it was merely personal preference.
"Armageddon, hmm? An interesting name, although I must say I am not a fan of bulky robots. I am merely grateful I was not modeled to be one. However, let me get down to business..."
Kaijin moved forward, and began typing buttons on the console, readying the presentation
"My productivity is the result of preparation. Project Ambience is a vision I constructed from the moment I laid eyes on your initial prototype. Within moments I had a plan set in motion, and you should credit yourself, for the resources I needed would not be easy to come by on my lonesome, which is where Creed Cybernetics came in. With the budget I had, it was made easier to attain the necessary resources, and from there, I merely followed my vision, and the finished products were born. And with that, I will present it to you."
Behind glass made specifically to protect against powerful waves of energy, a single human male stepped out into the white pristine walls of the "arena", which was a colloquial term for the testing area, where prototypes of various pieces of tech were put the test. Katchin walls and flooring made the surroundings rather damage proof, along with the specially made one way glass. He was shirtless. In fact, the only thing he wore were black pants and a belt fastened around his waist. He was big and burly, standing over six feet tall.
Pressing a button to activate the intercom, Kaijin spoke," Ray...are you ready to test what I outfitted you with?" He couldn't hear the man beyond the glass but Ray responded with a swift nod. Turning back to Creed, Kaijin began to explain the situation.
"What we have here is a volunteer. Ray, an independent mercenary. Bounty Hunter. I have offered Ray here the opportunity to test technology that can make him immensely powerful, which would be Project Ambience. If you are to look on your scouters.." Kaijin said as Sels began passing out the power level reading devices to Creed and company to fasten to their heads.
Kaijin didn't need such a device. He had a built in detection system that held the same capabilities as the modern scouter did, although his was built to have a smaller percentage for error, and could read more than just power readings. Locking onto Ray through the window, Kaijin then continued.
"As you can see...our friend Ray here boasts a power level of one thousand. Now..." Kaijin clicked the intercom once more, and spoke to the mercenary through the glass,"Begin test, Ray."
The human mercenary immediately began to yell out, although such exclamations were not audible through the soundproof walls that separated Creed, Kaijin and company from Ray. An amethyst colored aura enveloped the man as his Ki. Before the eyes of the onlookers, Creed and company would notice the power level of the man known as Ray begin to drastically skyrocket, moving from his full power of one thousand, to five, then ten thousand, all the way to a total of thirteen thousand. Bringing out the full extent of his latent Ki and potential out to show, a massive, blood red energy sphere forming in front of the man's outstretched palms as he directed it to the other end of the "arena"
"Attack, Ray." Kaijin spoke.
The blast shook the entire facility, rocking back from the impact force. The energy sphere was rather potent as it fired across the testing room with tremendous force, clashing and detonating against the katchin walls, sending an expulsion of force rocking into the walls and specialized glass. Deep red light bathed the facility, followed by thick black smoke that filled the interior of the testing area. Punching another command into the console, Kaijin activated the advanced ventilation, flushing the room of the noxious smoke.
"Thank you, Ray. Bring in Version Two." Kaijin said to Sels, who immediately ran off to prepare the next showcase. Turning back to Okata," There is the slight risk of physical strain on the body, for the cybernetics are more or less forcibly drawing out one's latent energy in a way to boost the body's capabilities past what they may be naturally capable of handling. Intense use of Project Ambience has been reputed in previous experiments to be linked with decreased effectiveness, a greater dependence on the cybernetic enhancements merely to keep up a steady battle rhythm and projected health complications in older age in the form of malfunctioning organs. The last one has not been tested merely because the prototype is new, and extreme long term effects have yet to be determined."
Turning back to the console, Kaijin pressed another button,"And with that, I reveal two things. You see, Mr. Creed, I believe that Project Ambience Version Two was created with myself in mind. And that won't do. Version Two is meant for automatons, for the absorption of ambient Ki in the atmosphere along with the drawing of latent Ki has proven too intense a combination for organics to handle simultaneously, and will lead to a swift demise. However, I began to think...wouldn't it be more profitable if the only way to obtain Project Ambience Version Two, would be to purchase it already installed in Creed Cybernetics brand war droids? Thus, I combined a long time project of mine with Project Ambience. Behold, Project Riot."
Six Riot Soldiers entered the room. Sleek, tall artificial creations, adorned with grey and red armor plating, a specially crafted blade attached to their backs and a singular red eye in the center of the head. The Riot Soldiers shifted, their singular red eyes glowing red as they crouched down and prowled about, their blades strapped to their backs, their bodies moving in silent, near rhythmic movements as they paced around the testing arena, each Riot Soldier moving about on all fours, like a Panther prowling in the night.
"Awaiting order to assassinate targets..." One Riot Soldier spoke in a deep, low pitched voice, all six of the Riot Soldiers' eyes glowing once more with that eerie red light.
"These six are prototype creations, originally Prototype Slayer R8 Warbots issued by the Tech Tech Government, a gift from Chief Citizen Crisp himself. They are not mass produce-able just yet, for I have to finalize the resources in order to mass produce them, but they are...works of art. I disassembled each and every Slayer Bot given to me. and completely recrafted them, using my own designs. I deviated from every known design style, completely basing it off of my own ingenuity. I broke them down into sleek, agile assassins who are as capable of slitting someone's throat in the dead of night without a single word spoken between neither assassin nor victim, as they are to blow up a continent in a single blow. I have them currently equipped with Version Two, but....I may swap them for Version One, to see if that may prove more compatible. It depends. However, once complete, these Riot Soldiers will revolutionize the standard for battle droids. Their agility and battle speed is perhaps even greater than my own, and make both silent killers, and weapons of mass destruction. All you need to, is give the order."
Kaijin looked to Creed and pointed straight at Armageddon," I can confidently assess that my team of Riot Soldiers can destroy Armageddon. But, I need these prototypes for a private matter of mine, so I cannot test that theory. Now...what do you think?Word Count: 1,325 | Total Word Count: 2,310 | Andrew C. Creed

Armageddon would turn to one of the bots as Kaijin described how they could destroy him. It’s emerald eyes would blaze for a second before bursting forth with a brilliant display of lights, searing a hole straight through the sound proof glass and knocking back one of the Riot Soldiers. It would cease, crossing its arms and looking straight at Kaijin, as if mocking his creations. “I am most impressed by their design, but you must remember that I myself specialize in making Cyborgs, not Androids. I couldn’t make one if I wished. That’s why I have people like you build them for me” He would turn to Armageddon with a grin. “I apologize for his behavior, he gets quite heated when threatened” Creed would return his view to the Riot Bots, examining them intensely. There was no doubt that they were strong enough to take on entire planets. An interesting creation, but perhaps one they should limit the sale of. Too many of these things running around could be disastrous, especially if any average joe could get their hands on one. “I can see you spared no expense with these Riot Soldiers. Even the exterior designs are artistically crafted. I’d enjoy bringing one along with me when you get the chance to make more. I find an assassination to be far more enjoyable when you are there to observe it” A slight smirk would grow across his face. “Or perform it yourself” He would turn to Kaijin. “Most militaries will care about the long term effects regarding the first Prototypes. Until we figure them all out, I suggest we move to selling them to less reputable governments and organizations. Quite a few come to mind, such as Chronos or The Raven Guard. As for the second prototype…” Creed would take out a cigarette and light it. “Do you think you could integrate it with a suit? Just a little pet project of mine, but an important one.” The suit could easily handle the excess power output, hell it’s got low power issues as it is. The only problem would be integration, perhaps it could be installed on the torso, near the power core. “In any case, we can discuss the matter in depth at a later time. How long until the first prototype can be mass produced? I’d be interested in getting them out on the civilian populations at a less powerful output. Maybe market them as Self defense enhancements. I suspect that’s where the majority of our income will stem from. ‘Wield the power of a god’” Creed would wave his hand in the air as he said so. Word Count: 441/986 Doctor Kaijin Vex

The Riot Soldier went flying across the testing arena, smashing against the katchin wall behind him. It sat there for a moment, smoke sizzling from the moment of contact, before the Riot Soldier stood up, his body glowing with a red light for a moment before it moved to rejoin his comrades. Kaijin, however, stared up at Armageddon with a cold, stoic expression, his face giving no indication of his emotion. However, when he spoke one could hear the venom in his voice.
"Project Ambience Version Two is in effect, so luckily your blast was absorbed by the armor chassis and by the absorption properties of the technology. However, Mr. Creed, if you cannot control your bodyguard, then we can test who truly deserves the name Armageddon, myself or your droid. I already know the answer, but I wonder if you do." Kaijin said.
Sighing, he turned back to the his screen,"Do remember, Creed, that I do not work under you. I work with you, which sets me apart from the scores of scientists and assistants under your command. As such, I will not tolerate insults in the form of physical assault unsanctioned, even if it was brought about by an offhand comment on my part, for which I apologize. Do correct such follies in the future, for even your automaton servants are a direct representation of you."
Looking back to Sels, he merely nodded to his assistant, and the scientists went back to work, taking down notes on the testing of both the Riot Soldiers and Ray's performance with Version One of Project Ambience.
"As I said, integrating it for organic use will result in unsavory results. However, if you so desire it, I will do it, if you provide me with the suit you have intent of using it with, so that I may properly install it. As for future production of Project Ambience Version One, I must upload the schematics, once all the kinks are rooted out, to production, and take inventory to ensure we have all necessary resources. From there, we can produce. It should take two to three weeks, at the very least."
"As for Version Two, I have intent to test that one in quite the detailed fashion. In a week's time, Shroomy's Invitational will take place on Space Vegas. I know you know about it, for it's all over the hypernet, and you're perceptive when it comes to money grabs. I will be participating in it, with a friend. I have already integrated Version Two into my body, and have full intent to use it during the tournament, to test for it's strengths and weaknesses. Then, I will return to work on it."

Creed would hold his hands behind his back, letting out a puff of smoke. “Armageddon is not my servant, he is my Apprentice. As I stated before, I do not make Automatons, I value free will when it is valuable, hence why my scientific staff are not as… subservient as the Security Forces” Creed would remove the cigarette and put it out on the chest plating on Armageddon's armor. “I know we are partners, but Armageddon is a partner as well, and will be treated thusly. No more unneeded death threats” There was one more matter that Creed wanted to discuss with Kaijin. Quite an interesting idea, if Creed was to say so himself. “I wish for you to release these plans to Capsule Corp. But altered, to the point where they kill anyone who uses them. In a large fiery explosion, preferably. Capsule Corp is desperate right now, after the controversy with Stone, my busniess had been domninating them utterly. If they believe this plan could help them, I could see their shareholders demanding for the device to be sent out without being properly tested. Exploding customers would lead to an extreme public outlash, and a decrease in stock price. We could buy them out in their entirety at little to no costs” A smirk would draw across Creed’s face. “How the mighty fall. Capsule Corp, a Titan of industry, sinking to the bottom of this economical ocean. After I get my hands on them, their Capsule Technology will be mine. Then…” Creed would turn to Kaijin. “We would be unstoppable. Armies outfitted with ambience, thousands held within a single Capsule. The entire Galaxy would purchase our technology, we would have a literal chokehold on every major Galactic body out there…” Creed only saw green in this moment. He would finally win, he would utterly destroy Capsule corp. Word Count: 309/1195 Doctor Kaijin Vex

"Your choice in allies is a mixed bag. How interesting." The good doctor commented as he continued to tap away at his computer. As he listened to Creed, he had to admit, that he was beginning to understand how flawed organics were. Andrew C. Creed, a man completely willing to kill others, simply for profit. A man that was fully willing to take advantage of war, in order to make money. To him, the degenerate nature of man was his way to make money, worthless coins only given value because of the governments in power that say they have value. Material wealth was Creed's desire, and all that he happened to care about. It was interesting to watch, almost as interesting as it sickened the good doctor deep inside. It was this type of thinking, this nature to man, that kept the cycle of war constantly rotating.
One day, he would correct such thinking. However, for now, Creed still held use to him. His facilities were of use for the man to escalate his projects, and to gain the material wealth he needed to built his own private facilities away from Creed's eye. One day, Kaijin's view for societal correction, and an end to war and conflict, would become less of a dream and more of a reality. However, as in all things, there would be bloodshed. Kaijin merely had to ensure he came out on top.
And Project Riot, which he already planned to keep in his pocket for private utilization within the First Galactic Empire, would be the first of many. Kaijin was using Creed, just as Creed was using him. Neither of them held any love for each other besides the benefit of having each other around. This being especially true in the fact that the good doctor was a machine. He was no fool to the fact that many viewed Kaijin as lesser, as little more than the countless other machines in the galaxy, simple because he did not have a soul. Often times, he let them think that. Many times, those same people realized just how flawed their perception and understanding was.
Anyways, back to business.
"Do you often sacrifice people to make more money? How interesting. However, I should hardly talk. I do not sacrifice people, but my creations are not to hug people, either." Kaijin spoke as he tapped away on his keyboard.
"Very well, I will create an alternate blueprint of Project Ambience Version Two. But no, I cannot make people literally explode from absorbing ambient Ki. This is not a movie. What I can do is have the Ambient Ki adapter overload easier than it is reputed to, and thus release unfiltered Ki into the bodily systems. An internal explosion, of course, that would fry them from the inside. Not as flashy, but I would reckon it is just as effective." Kaijin responded, breaking away from his computer as he shoo'd away his Riot Soldiers.
"Is there anything else you wished to discuss? Otherwise, I will begin working on the alternate version immediately."Post Count: 515 | Word Count: 3,275 | Andrew C. Creed

“I sacrifice people when it benefits me and my plans. Life is like a game of chess, and all those insignificant citizens, my pawns. There is more to my goals than material wealth mind you, but it is certainly part of them” Creed would produce a small glass square, lit up with various holographic buttons. He would type on it quickly. “You can use the security forces as test subjects for the first prototype. They should be more than cooperative and I want them outfitted with Project Ambience as soon as possible. I’ll also be delivering the portion of armor which I want Project Ambience to be installed in” Creed would pocket the device. “One more thing before I let you return to your work” Creed would remove a folded piece of paper, unfolding it to reveal a document. “Once I acquire Capsule Corp, I will have all of their production and research facilities. I have enough responsibilities with trying to keep this company running smoothly. Hence my offer” Creed would hand Kaijin the document. “I care little for what happens to Capsule Corp once I actually obtain it, only that their technology belongs to Creed Cybernetics. As such, I wish to give you full control of their facilities. Making you the Manager of the entire Earth Division of Creed Cybernetics. The funding, the research fields, everything would be at your whim. Given Capsule Corp was the most advanced technology companies out there, I’m sure you will find everything to your satisfaction” The document would describe the benefits and responsibilities of the job, as well as a place to sign. Creed would turn and light up another cigarette. Armageddon would walk ahead of him, as if scouting to make sure the location was safe. Creed would turn slightly once reaching the doorway. “We will soon be amongst some of the richest and most powerful men in the galaxy. All thanks to your efforts. "Life is not chess. If it were Chess, then you wouldn't be breathing, for you would be inanimate and otherwise non-living. Chess in the end, is a game mimicking the horrors of life in a game of conquest, although due to it's simplistic characters, is much more palatable for the average man or woman than the truth of carnage. The insignificant citizens, could have been your customers at some point, or may very well be. Or, they may have something else to their lives. But, I am not here to lecture you on the fine points of morality, for I cannot say I am the perfect citizen. However, I simply find your view of your fellow organics to be rather divisive, but I have long learned that cooperation on a large scale has always been a rather sore spot for organics, so it is of no matter." The Android said, halting his departure to listen to Creed as he continued to explain himself. The explanation meant little to the scientist, but it was only polite to let the man try, at the very least.
The prospect of being offered Capsule Corporation was an intriguing one. Well, it wouldn't exactly be Capsule Corporation anymore. Creed was ambitious, and had intent to sabotage his way to buying out the richest corporation in the galaxy, a galactic business that had maintained it's wealth for more than five hundred years. Tackling it would be no easy task, even if such attempts at sabotaging using some specialized Project Ambience model proved successful. But ultimately, that was Creed's job. Kaijin's job was different. He produced, and reveled in the fruits of his labor. Whether Andrew C. Creed's ambition would uplift him, or ruin him was the fault of the millionaire.
However, the prospect of being in charge of an entire division of Creed Cybernetics, on the grounds that used to be Capsule Corporation, with access to all their technology, with near unlimited funding to produce projects galore, was a VERY tempting one. However, Kaijin was not one to rush into things. Signing the contract would deepen his relation with Creed Cybernetics, and build a bigger ditch in which the Android would be in, for he would not only be affiliated with Creed Cybernetics, but would essentially become a corporate manager. That alone was a pretty stable job, that would root him on Earth almost indefinitely. Kaijin could not be rooted. He had an obligation to the Empire, which these days appealed to the Android a lot more than his partnership with Creed, more because of the newfound companionship he found with Kuueru and Lute. Such a position as a high ranking member of the Galactic Empire required him to be mobile, not tied down in some office on Earth.
"I'll read over the contract, and consider it. Eventually, I'll get back to you with an answer. Maybe once you actually have Capsule Corporation, since right now you seem a bit ahead of yourself." The Android Scientist said, before turning his back on Creed.
"The future looks bright all the time. It's when the present is bright is when I am truly interested. When the road ahead of you is bright, it is either the end of a long tunnel, or a truck moving swiftly to run you over."Word Count: 555 | Total Word Count: 3,830 | Andrew C. Creed
