Ha'ta and Simmer eyed Duria a moment longer as the Saiyan waggled a finger at the two, pointing towards Carambolis, "He's the only reason you're not dead, were it my choice I'd toss you both out the airlock for all the trouble you've caused me." He stepped back then, the two brother's slithering forward. Simmer definitely seemed the more level headed of the two. "Anything is better than that prison we were condemned to," he nudged Ha'ta, " Right?!" he said with some fervor towards his brother. At Kamui's offerings the Emperor nodded, "You understand then. If I hear one word of dissent, I will deal with you both myself," The Emperor kept his tone even but the look in his eyes said he was dead serious, "After this is over, we can see about re-uniting you with the rest of your people. Assuming any others are alive," the Emperor crossed one leg over the other as he lounged in his command chair, "That's not an empty promise either. Those who serve are paid and rewarded justly. Anything less would be me breaking my own laws and tenants. Though you Naga would fit in here, among us. You're a warring race, always have been. There's no need to shy away from that nature when the galaxy is already at war, tempering it though is perhaps a wise move," his gaze shifting towards Ha'ta who, despite having moved forward was still doubled over from Duria's punch. "We will accept your offer. If nothing else to keep our hides intact," Simmer stated, he hoisted his brother to stand straight, the Naga hissed, but nodded to the Emperor, then towards Kamui, "Don't think we'll throw ourselves on some sword or act as the tip of the spear to die for you all though." Ha'ta added, Cam looking towards Kamui, "Satisfied? These two should be able to fill you in on what you can do. Siphon or otherwise, there is always a solution, you're just not seeing it yet. You're no fool, no one in this room is a fool, I expect results soon." Giving that genuine smile he added, "Just remember what you're doing: saving a world. That alone should be enough stakes to drive you to succeed." Simmer was the one to speak up next, "Reflection is how we fought off Cooler and his men," the Naga added, "The storm was created by a Brench. It's energy feeding off the planets atmospheric changes, creating a loop. The more the storm rages, the more the atmosphere changes, the more that friction and change feeds the storm. Breaking the cycle will stop the storm, at least that is what we Naga have gleaned from it. The storm was ignited on our capital city, if we had more Naga we could deflect the storm's energies. My brother and I alone would not be enough," the Naga concluded. Ha'ta and Simmer moved towards Kamui. It would be Simmer who offered a hand out to the Changeling, "One of your race killed most of ours. Suppose it's only poetic one of you should undo it." Ha'ta however seemed not as friendly as his brother crossing his arms and spitting off to one side, "I cooperate with you because my brother does, nothing more and nothing less." Carambolis had caught Meiku's fascination with the pair, chuckling, "You can interact with them Meiku. They're people like you and me, perhaps a bit more... Abrasive than what you're used to. These two spent some time in a Frieza force prison, resistors of the previous government. I applaud them for it," the Emperor looking towards the two, "I've killed many Frieza force goons, you'll be happy to know that their ilk are reprehensible here." And indeed that did seem to catch the Naga's interest, though neither of them said anything. Cam kept on speaking to Meiku, "I'll arrange for some training, you and me and we can work some things out. I'll make sure Duria has a session with all of you. Fighting me and fighting him are two different animals, though Duria is just as fierce." Clasping his hands together he looked between the different commanders gathered, "Well, I've little else to offer. You have your missions, your routines, and have my orders and blessings. If you need anything else from me, now is the time to voice it. Otherwise you're all free to go about yourselves. Take a day or two, then get back into it." Preparedness and time for themselves was something that these warriors would always be allowed so long as they served with Carambolis. Treating his subordinates with respect was pivotal in his mind.

The prospect of the Naga joining his crew was a promising one, and one that improved Kamui's previously foul mood quite nicely. It wasn't quite a solution to the predicament that loomed over his head, but it was a start, a start to a solution. As for the brothers' differing personalities, it was a simple solution. If he pleased the one known as Simmer, Ha'ta would fall in line out of sheer duty to his brother, more than anything else. He hoped that in time the two would find themselves equally devoted to the Confederacy's goals, but when one was incarcerated for as long as they, sound reason was something to be desired, not to mention the Naga now had to re-acclimate themselves to a different world, for their imprisonment and isolation on Planet Cane hadn't done them much justice.
The news of the Naga's battle against Cooler's armed forces was an interesting one. The legendary Lord Cooler, older brother to Frieza, Conqueror of the Galaxy. While not as famous as his brother, Cooler's power and mercilessness was galaxy renown, and even to this day, countless worlds reel from the destruction and the aftereffects of Planet Trade invasions under his flag. The fact that the Naga were present to witness Cooler and his Armored Squadron invade their world was an interesting one indeed. Had Kamui been extremely insensitive to their situation, he would've pestered them ceaselessly about the fact, asking them to retell stories of Cooler's glory, simply to satisfy the Changeling's curiosity. However, these were sensitive times, an alliance being brokered merely due to the Naga simply having no choice but to cooperate. It wouldn't do to antagonize them further, for servants ultimately performed better when they were willing to serve, and found themselves complacent with their position.
The news of the Naga's "Reflection" being the core defensive mechanism of this species. He had no idea what this meant, if it was meant more in the literal sense of reflecting Ki back upon the caster, or if it was a colloquial term for something else amongst their species. However, if the Naga believed that this would be sufficient to deflect the storm that so ravaged their world, then Kamui desired a method to sufficiently use it. As to how....well, the gears were already shifting on that one.
Extending a metallic hand, Kamui shook hands with Simmer, solidifying the deal," Excellent. In time, I desire to meet with the both of you to discuss in detail the full effects of this reflection you speak of, how to perform it, and formulate a concrete plan on how to save your world. Only with your cooperation, can this be done with little risk." The Changeling said calmly, his eyes looking the brothers up and down. Then, with a wave of his hand, he dismissed them.
"The guards will escort you to lodging that if sufficient for two of your....size. We hope you make yourselves comfortable, and behave yourselves please. We will move to embark in a few days time." Kamui said, rising himself and preparing to retire to his own quarters on board the Omnipotence....once he found one that was. However, he stopped himself first, and looked to Cam.
"There is one more thing I wish to bring up, Emperor." Kamui said, his metallic tail creaking slightly as it wrapped around the Frost Demon's waist.
"I desire a bout with you, in private. I never got the chance to test your mettle in combat, and frankly I desire the opportunity to test my strength against yours, if you do not mind. Perhaps you can even teach me a thing or two." The kid was bold, someone had to give him that. Blatantly professing his desire for a training session, with the Emperor of all people. Especially while his position within the Confederacy was still being solidified, some might even say it wasn't his place to demand such. Yet, when did former pirates care about what could be considered "official" channels?

Amatricina was fast growing impatient with this meeting. She had said her part, reporting on both her mission to Styx and the her continued promise in helping to depose of the earthling king. She had even gone a step further, and offered her assistance to help remove the ki storm that ravaged Planet Cane. To the demon, there was little reason for her to remain seated at the table, and her atypical silence was proof of her agitation. The earthling Meiku continued to make light of other's comments, though the demoness was quick to note no jokes had been directed her way. Good, if Meiku was smart as she claimed to be, she would keep it that way. Amatricina did not fully understand her relationship with Carambolis, perhaps she had been his lover, but for whatever reason theirs' seemed a genuine friendship of sorts. Whereas Kamui and herself were merely allies pulled into the fold only by agreements that sated their own ambitions. The very existence of this faction vexed the demon greatly, diplomacy that was not simply extending an iron fist was not her forte. It seemed the two serpent brothers, these... Naga, were indeed going to join Kamui's personal crew. So be it, Amatricina thought to herself, it would at least give her a chance to study them more intimately at a later occasion. Perhaps even speak with them in private, she was quite fascinated by their monstrous bestial race. It was not an unexpected series of events all said and done. The Naga had no better option than to join the cyborg's crew. Cam had put them between a proverbial rock and a hard place. They had opted for the rock, at least that choice might roll away to safety in time. What was unexpected however, was Kamui's proposal to test himself against the Emperor. Amatricina raised an eyebrow, leaning forward as she listened more intently to them talk. She herself had been mulling over the idea of testing her newfound might against the Kabochan ruler. Since first arriving in the mortal realm, Amatricina had made great strides in weening herself off the intoxicating addiction her kind had to their precious Dark Energy. Unshackling herself from it had allowed her to flourish to her full might once more, even when in a realm absent of demonkind's greatest boon. What small vestiges of Dark Energy she could will forth from her realm now augmented her strength further, rather than act as a temporary fix from withdrawal like symptoms. "Carambolis. Kamui. If I may be so bold." Amatricina said aloud, a severe look plastered across her porcelain face. "I would love nothing more than to sit in on that spar." She ignored Kamui's statement on privacy, she wanted to study how both fighters operated, and to better study Carambolis' transformation without being on the receiving end. "Purely as an observer of course, I have no desire to stack the deck against either one of you." The fire demon flashed a wry smile, relishing the mere chance to study Carambolis in battle, unmolested by his assault. Kamui himself had made bold claims he could match the Emperor, she wanted to see if he could make good on those claims of if it was the same brash arrogance that had cost him most of his body.

With all the talking Meiku had sat through, she was surely growing stiff in her chair. After getting an eyeful of the Naga brothers and their intense conversation with Cam and Kamui, she took mirrored the same look of anxiousness for the end of the meeting that the fire demoness had. It wasn’t that she was bored---merely eager to return to the lab and continue her work.
Thought Cam mentioned that she could interact with the Naga beings, she only wanted to gawk at the pair like a child in the zoo for now. Not that she wouldn't like to augment them as some sort of wicked snake android race. Perhaps she could take samples of their sperm and repopulate their race? Were Nagas like some snakes with live births? Or---the other sort of snakes with egg births? With no female in sight for her to make more elaborate assumptions she sated her thoughts for the time being.
Meiku was a problem solver. Even if that meant she went out of her way to find a problem to solve. It was what kept her ticking, gave her purpose, and made her drive never ending. It seemed that no matter where the universe took the lass, she could always find something that needed her mind to fix it. Hell, if her mind didn't fix it, she could sure as hell hope that her fists could. That was the synopsis of the Earthling girl.
Beyond her studies however, she had to prepare training her body as well. If she were to take on bother Duria and Cam--she didn’t intend to be a disappointment or waste of time to either.
Gray orbs stared at her pale palm as she clenched it in vigor. Her power seemed to surge through her body like electricity. She surely wouldn’t give up in her plights, even if they changed over time. Be it intense research using her mind, or a spear used to fight---she would make sure she was the sharpest tool in the box.
“Very well then, I look forward to it,” She shot Cam a fierce glance before bowing towards the others in the room. It didn’t take long for the Earthling to find the door and ultimately her ship back to Kabocha. She was eager, more so than she ever had been in the past.
The short commute down to Kabocha’s surface was a short one, albeit filled with internal thought. Though only a few minutes had elapsed the woman found herself contemplating many a thing. From the end results of her virus and the beginning stages of testing. To the actual deployment and initiation of a plan from its results. Furthermore, afterwards she intended to do more research on the Tree of Might and just what initiated these turns of events.
With one less thing on her plate, she could focus on herself above anything else. Still, the Earthling population had more of a drive than a lot of races in the universe. For some reason despite extreme conflicts they seemed to have, and sometimes create for themselves, they managed to push on and resolve most things. Earthlings weren't to be doubted, no matter how generic or ignorant the stereotype of their race was. Hell, there were so many races living on the face of the planet now---what truly made someone an Earthling? In that same breath, someone born on the planet no matter with tentacles or blue skin could consider themselves as such.
Meiku aimed to bring notoriety to not only her name, but to the Earthlings who always got overlooked.
