In high orbit over Earth. Time: 14:22:35 The Omnipotence had been parked a safe distance from the Earth for some time now. Well within the range of any orbital guns the Earth had, though Earth's military likely knew that those guns wouldn't be able to do much against such an advanced piece of technology, though more than anything the ship had been parked further away simply because the immense size of it could interfere with the planet's tides and gravity, were one to weight the ship side by side next to Earth's moon, it held the mass of about eleven percent of said Earth's moon. Keeping the ship a healthy distance back would ensure that none of Earth's systems were interfered with, though it was still leagues closer than the moon itself, Earth, for a time, would appear to have two moons, one giant, ominous, and mechanical, the other its own simple white orb that had, aside from several random occurrences of destruction, always orbited the planet. He had five dragon balls under lock and key aboard his ship, to put it mildly. Every day that passed brought him closer and closer to his end game in regards to the Earth, at least, an amicable alliance that would bring the kingdom into the larger galactic world stage, at best, an absorption of the Earth and its secondary systems into the Kabochan Confederacy, he had to make his next moves carefully of course, he wanted the whole package of Earth and its kingdoms to be an ally, not just the singular planet Earth. Obtaining all of them would meant that the Kabochan Confederacy would have a military and economic presence in every quadrant of the galaxy. If he had to give a few concessions in order to obtain that, so be it. Absentmindedly he wondered to himself when this had become the goal: to unite the galaxy. Some used the word liberate, some conquer, though in the end Carambolis found these distinctions didn't necessarily matter all that much. Each planet was given the same rights and liberties with a few exceptions as needed, each planet held just as much saw and power politically as others, with few exceptions, all cooperated and all traded together in commerce and culture, sure wars had been fought, lives and soldiers had been lost, but the common person wasn't repressed and nobody was starving or getting raided by unwieldy marauders and bandits, inside the Kabochan confederacy things were relatively peaceful compared to the rest of the galaxy, extending that peace and prosperity outward was motivation enough, that those ideals that Cam and all he had built had come to stand for weren't at the core, they weren't what started it. Fear had started those wheels in motion. Fear. Fear had become the motivation, along with the primal instinct and urge to survive. Carambolis had fought and been beaten by Super Saiyans, even a legendary Super Saiyan. He had done what it took to survive. He had faced strange, corrupted majin monsters, ran from them and done what it took to survive. He had faced prodigies of of their race, fighters more meticulous and powerful than he ever would be, been beaten and survived. The Emperor, for all his losses, knew how to survive. He walked away from it all, rallied planets, armies, resources, won battles, made alliances, even gotten engaged and while all of these were achievements, what came next had to be carefully planned, for better or worse, the Crusher Corp. and Kabochan Confederacy was becoming more and more of a household name. Of course a still growing government could be easily shaken if one knew how to uproot it, to that end the Emperor had called for a meeting of his reliable assets. For those with scouters and communicators, contacting them and making them aware of a request to return to the Omnipotence was easily done. For those far away or off world, transports were easily provided, attack pods or frigates dispatched to pick people up. He was patient, ever pragmatic in his approaches, however it was time to steer things a little differently this time. He needed to make several important decisions, right now it only took one thing to bring about the demise of the Kabochan Confederacy, or at least hobble it greatly: his death. While some might think it nigh impossible, the Emperor knew full well that their were warriors and leaders who were individually stronger than him, Colla and Onyon seemed capable warriors of his pedigree and they were mere commanders, Radia and Polaris? They seemed of a level unlike his own, even that strange teenager Russ was more capable than he in a simple brawl, though simple brawls weren't everything. Pragmatism kept him alive and it would be pragmatism that in the worst case scenario should come to pass and he did die, that his legacy would live on after him and continue to influence and vanguard the galaxy. Every heavy hitter and smart mind he had at his disposal had been sent for, either with headhunters and ships or with simple communications, the calls made he simply sat and waited for all of those he had called for to arrive, staring from his commander's chair aboard his ship out into the cold vastness of space, whatever he saw only his eyes could detect it seemed and that was starting to irritate him, no one knew what was coming.

North Quadrant
Nearing the Omnipotence...
The Dread Spectre shot through space. A modified Capsule Corp created war cruiser, originally purposed for pirate raids across the galaxy, meant to cripple and punch through the hulls of ships in order to board. Yet lately, the warship was not doing much raiding and plundering. Ever since the raid over Brench, where Captain Kamui Solaris had encountered Emperor Carambolis, Emperor of the Kabochan Confederacy and leader of the Crusher Corps, during an unfortunate raid on one of Cam's ships. Of course, the Changeling teenager had not been aware of the fact that he had been attacking a Crusher Corps vessel, and after jumping through seventeen hoops, Kamui had finally found the desire in him to ask Cam to join his forces, to which the Emperor agreed. Originally, Kamui was assigned the rank of Lieutenant within the organization, and was stationed to Planet Cane to assist the war effort. Such a mission was one of extreme importance, and allowed for ample opportunity to the young Frost Demon of nineteen years. However, much had happened since Cam had left the former pirate captain and his crew on the dry, half dead world in the Eastern Quadrant.
The Dread Spectre was among the first few ships to arrive to the scene.
The Frost Demon had most likely, without a doubt, been through one of the most stressful weeks of his life, and had suffered for it. But, it was all because of Kamui's thirst for power and wealth.
And his overconfidence.
He had become too overconfident, too drunk on his own power. Believed himself invincible. He had overstepped his bounds, had crossed a bridge he shouldn't have crossed, and he knew it. Vile, an A-Rank criminal marked with one of the biggest bounties out there. Kamui had left Commander Fritz in charge of his Crusher Corps soldiers temporarily and had taken a detour out to The Badlands with his elites in tow to tackle the bounty for a little extra payoff. He knew the threat, he knew how dangerous Vile was reported to be. Yet, he was drunk off his own victory, believed himself capable of beating people much stronger than him. Believed his own speed to be his ticket to success. He believed it would only take him a few days to capture the quarry and return. Another dangerous criminal off the streets was a good thing, right? Vile had proven much too strong for any of his men to handle, and although Kamui had put up a valiant effort, it had proven too much for the young Frost Demon, and he was utterly defeated...
Despite all the odds stacked against him, he was still breathing. Still living. His soldiers had dragged responded to the scene, and had dragged the half destroyed, near dead Changeling from The Badlands, and into emergency care, with Sawbones, Kamui's personal doctor, at the foremost of the action. From there, she had moved to operate on him.
And thus, here he was. More machine than man at this point in time. A great deal of Kamui's body had been maimed beyond the point of no return, and as a result he had been emergency evac'd back to Planet Cane for medical care. The most painful surgical procedure of his life. A Cosmic Suit had been produced, combining the latest galactic technology with Kamui's own living tissue and natural Bio Suit, resulting in what could be considered a cybernetic skin, that happened to take up the great majority of Kamui's body. Extra additions were even made to enhance Kamui's mental capacity and physical capabilities with cybernetics, which resulted in a complete change on the man's part. A faster, smarter Changeling. A cross between Android and organic being. Mecha Kamui.
A horrid name for a truly horrific work of art. Kamui's power level had very nearly doubled since the last time he had been in Emperor Cam's presence. The man himself had seemed to change. No longer the haughty, boastful and loud Frost Demon, Kamui's new status seemed to humble him slightly, and taint his heart at the same time. Filled with rage at the inorganic nature of his body, and fuming at his inability to win.
Then there was Mark I. That Android....whatever he was. He had beaten the Changeling's pride even further by defeating him while he was coming at the Android at full power, overwhelming Kamui in a test of wills on Planet Cane, and then slowly torturing him, by pulling him apart and nearly killing him once more, before leaving a message for the Changeling as a parting gift, before leaving him to drown in his own inadequacy.
Too many insults, too many things piling up. However, there was work to do. Planet Cane was a mixed bag of successes and failures, and Kamui had intent to use this little meeting to shine light on such matters, as well as remain appraised of progress from all the other officers in the Confederacy.
"My lord. Seven minutes until arrival and alignment with the Omnipotence." His top Crusher Corps officer, Sergeant Zephyrus reported from inside Kamui's office. The only person, other than Kaiju, allowed in at most times of day.
"Very well..." The scarred and marred lump of flesh that made up Kamui's upper body and head spoke from inside his rejuvenation tank, his voice like sandpaper. A process the Frost Demon had to repeat several times a day in order to ensure a certain level of comfort and fluidity to....basic functions. One didn't want every breath one took to feel like one was drinking shots of liquid fire, yes? Thus, he did this to offset the adverse effects of being dismembered and nearly killed twice.
Zephyrus stepped forward and began to drain the rejuvenation fluids from the tank. Holding himself up with telekinesis, Zephyrus opened the tank door, Kamui floated out, his prosthetic limbs and face plate slowly floating over to him. One by one, Zephyrus assisted the Changeling with reattaching the prosthetic limbs to him one by one, before fitting the other attachments over his body, attaching the rebreather last. Once everything was secured, Kamui took a large deep, shuddering break before beginning to walk out of his office, Zephyrus quickly on his heels.
"Arriving to Earth now...Fritz is preparing to give the pass codes to the Omnipotence. Preparing to board."
"Excellent. I will return shortly." Kamui said, as he stood as a link was established between his ship and Emperor Cam's. As the doors slid open and the tube was revealed that allowed safe passage, Kamui stepped forward, his computerized brain already reaching out to connect and establish a link with the Omnipotence computers.

The Demon Warlord stood agitated at the bridge of her modest flagship, the battleship Relentless. Amatricina was eager to return to the Earth, and the mighty warship couldn't travel fast enough for her liking. She had much to tell the Emperor of these last few days. The demon had requested a nominal fleet, no more than a dozen assorted cruisers and destroyers, led by a singular battleship. A menagerie of Crusher Corps and Kabochan Confederacy vessels, all filled with crews eager to return to their flagship and be rid of their interim commander. She knew she was disliked by the officers of the vessels, and the crew, but they had no say in the matter. If they wished to follow their Emperor then they would follow his allies, no matter how unlikely they may be. As promised, Amatricina had taken her forces and 'liberated' the planet Styx or demonic influence as part of her agreement with Carambolis. She had summoned forth a great portal to Demon Realm, a magnificent display of magic and sorcery unlike any she'd been able to conjure before. A testament to her markedly increased strength in recent months. It had taken an enormous expenditure of ki, as well as calling forth Dark Energy from her home realm. The latter task had been especially draining, Amatricina was not yet fully accustomed or proficient in drawing forth Dark Energy when outside the Demon Realm. Regardless, her task had been completed and within acceptable parameters. Styx had its dissident factions brought to heel, its defenders crushed beneath the armed forces of her fleet and her own efforts on the battlefield. After the capital city's last bastion of resistance fell, she had summoned forth her beloved siblings through the rift she'd woven in time and space. Her brother Raigu brought with him an entire demonic legion, much to the dismay of her own soldiers. The Fire Demon clan spent the next few days scouring the planet of demonic life. Men, women, children, warriors, scholars, wounded, none were spared from Amatricina's ambitious claws. All were rounded up and dragged kicking and screaming through the portal back to her homeworld Monsigneus. There, a fate worse than death awaited them. They would join the ever growing ranks of the slave casts that toiled endlessly to keep the Fire Demon Clan running at peak efficiency. Toiling in the mines, working ceaselessly in factories and shipyards, or simply serving as a household servant to demonic aristocracy for the lucky few. Either way, it was a plunder of souls that Amatricina would needed have conquered a minor clan in her realm to accomplish. Millions of fresh bodies that she knew by now would be suffering in processing as her clan busily sorted through their spoils of war. Meanwhile, in the mortal realm, Amatricina had let the portal collapse once her brother's legion finished scouring Styx. The non-demonic populations had been spared as per Carambolis orders, not that she wanted them anyways. An interim government and the cruiser Vigilance and the destroyer Unyielding had been left behind to maintain order and patrol the system. She had nominated the captain of the Vigilance to the rank of interim planetary governor, until someone of higher status within the Confederacy made the say otherwise. Overall the invasion, occupation, and subsequent decimation of Styx had been an enjoyable outing. Amatricina had met the cyborg frost demon, Lieutenant Kamui Solaris, and learned a great deal from him. She assumed his own ship was likely well ahead of hers if it was also returning to earth. In addition to having more than a day's head start on her fleet, she assumed the agile vessel could easily outrun the lumbering battleship she commanded. Amatricina was eager to make her report to the Emperor. Both parties involved will have gotten what they wanted, and the demoness was more than ready to return to the earth. While she was not fond of the planet, she was familiar with it. The demoness did not like the many unknowns of the greater mortal realm as a whole. Moreover, she wished to be rid of her ships and her crew, they could return to the ranks of the Kabochan Confederacy's fleet and be rid of her. The demonrolled her shoulders slightly, looking out into the endlessly drifting abyss as her ship traveled at faster than light speeds. "Commander Amatricina." The vessel's navigator called out from his bridge station. "Yes? What is it?" She asked curtly in reply, eyes not lifting from the view outside. "We will be arriving in the Sol System within the hour." The officer spoke eagerly, he too was ready to be done with this mission. "Excellent, carry on then." Amatricina said as she began to hover, crossing her legs and taking meditative state. She could at least focus her ki a bit for the last leg of her journey. When she was young she always felt this task mundane and boring, loathing to do it when her mother or father demanded it of her and her siblings. But as an adult she found it relaxing, like clearing the mind. She breathed out, exhaling a puff of black smoke as the demoness lifted the veil of her mind. Amatricina's fleet arrived on schedule, not more than an hour later. Ten large warships slipping out of faster than light travel just beyond the planet earth's gravity well. "Commander. We have arrived." The helmsman of her flagship said, setting a new heading for the Omnipotence, which now hung in orbit above the blue planet. Amatatricina arose from her trance like state, cracking her neck and rising to her feet. "Excellent helmsman. Communications, open up a secure comm channel with the Omnipotence." The demon spoke confidently, her voice full of authority and lacking its usual tone of agitation with her crew. The communications officer nodded in response, pressing away at the buttons on his terminal and hailing the flagship of the fleet. Amatricina cleared her throat as the signal was patching itself through. When the link was established she finally began to speak. "This is Commander Amatricina of the task force Molten Talons, returning from our assignment on the planet Styx. We request docking privileges with the Omnipotence to offload cargo and replenish supplies. I myself am officially dissolving the task force, our mission having been a success, and granting permission to the vessel's under my command to return to their previous assignments. Lastly... I request an audience with Emperor Carambolis. We have much to speak of..." With that Amatricina ended the communication relay, confident in the knowledge that female Kabochan that Carambolis spoke so highly of would likely be listening to this very message. With the sight of the massive flagship growing larger in the distance Amatricina breathed a sigh of relief. As much as she was a stranger here, and an unlikely ally of the Emperor's, there was no denying it felt good to be back.

Viruses. Mixed with tiny bits of nanotechnology.
Peering through the eyepiece of her high powered microscope Meiku diligently studied the interactions of the man-maned virus and its naturally occurring biological counterpart. They microbes wiggled and almost moved in synchronization, this was her closet attempt yet.
Since her last encounter with Cam, he had given her this new task. Her aim? Create a crippling nano virus that would disable the Ikondans greatly and force them to submit to the Kabochan Confederacy. Whether or not there was a lack of ethicality behind the project--Meiku only did her job. She allowed Cam himself to deal with repercussions and politics, for, it really did not interest the Earthling woman.
It had been a few weeks, and while her progress had been steady; Meiku was certainly taking more time to relax and enjoy her free time. Of course, that was only after a direct command from the Emperor himself. Too often she had spent many a sleepless night trying to achieve nye impossible tasks. If the woman didn’t know any better, she would think that she was performing better, and making better strides with her new ‘well-rested’ approach. She would have to let Cam know that his advice was only aiding the cause.
As for the Tree of Might, with a steady plan of how to remove the massive parasitic monstrosity, she was ready to act. That would be a topic of discussion she would bring up.
Meiku pulled herself from the microscope and then her chair. Leaning back she popped her back and a series of released in her spine immediately brought her some comfort. She would need to leave soon---after all, the Earthling dreaded being late.
She pulled out a small back and stuffed a notepad and her mobile tablet into it’s maw. Once satisfied that she had everything needed the woman waved a hand. Ripping to life sparks of orange energy began to sprout before her frame. Eventually the small ovum of sparks expanded to form a mesmerizing portal. She hadn’t the energy to transport herself to another quadrant, and besides the Emperor already had a ship prepared for her beforehand.
She stepped through the portal and found herself in the busy hanger on Kabocha’s surface. Soon she found her ship, boarded and set her coordinates for those provided. Earth? She could only wonder what Cam was up to there, besides something she could probably care less about. The sooner she could meet with him, the sooner she could get her nose back into her research and experimentation.
The small warship took off into the vastness of space. It was a small but speedy vessel. Meiku had left with enough time to spare so there shouldn’t be a reason that she would be too late to the party. Not that there was an official time for her to be there anyhow.
Of course, she brought her tablet not only to present some things to the Emperor, but to also perform some work on the transport to Earth. The idle time only made her feel like she was wasting time or potential breakthroughs. Therefore, she dug her nose into the LCD screen for a while. Hell, perhaps the Earthling became too engrossed in her time working. Before she knew it the ships’ computers were alerting her of her arrival to the destination.
Omnipotence. Some hours later.
It was one hell of a ship, base, and all around powerhouse. Definitely a major intimidator for the Kabochan Confederacy. Still, Meiku marveled at the massive metal construction. What she wouldn’t do to get her hands on it one day---knowing Cam, she probably would too. He was pretty open about letting her flex her abilities. Still, there was something irking the Earthling lately.
Not only was the brain. She wasn’t some weakling either---Meiku wanted more as of late. She wanted to get her hands dirty. She wanted to work out more muscles than just the one housed in her cranium. She aimed to talk to Cam about that as well.
She typed upon the control panel of the warship. She needn’t ask for clearance since her arrival was already expected. She simply pressed a few numbers and letters and inserted the access codes for docking to begin.
“All right. It’s been a while,” Meiku mumbled as she gazed at the azure orb beyond Omnipotence. She would have to go back one day. She would have to see them. She made the promise not only to one, but two people at this point. As much as her memories of her home planet bothers the woman, it was inevitable that she would one day return and close those open ends.
With that the woman made her way towards the airlock that connected the massive vessel to her much smaller one. It hissed as it opened. Meiku waltzed into the long katchin hallway and into the main receiving room on the ship. It wasn’t long before she made her way to the Emperor’s area. She walked in to find a mechanical ...frost demon? It took a moment before she sense Cam staring out of the viewport at Earth.
“Good evening,” Meiku piped up while entering the room and taking a seat at one of the various chairs in the room. She placed her bag upon a surface in front of her and nodded in greeting towards the strange half mechanical and half arcosian hybrid. To be fair, Meiku hadn’t kept up with Cam’s doings within his infrastructure. Still, she was beginning to think it was about time she did.
“Hope you’ve been well Cam, and---” Her sullen gray eyes shifted towards Kamui. “Pleasure to meet you as well.”
While Meiku wasn’t ashamed of her level of power, she certainly didn’t go around blasting it out. Especially not within allied company. She found it much easier to avoid a conflict if you disguise such a thing during initial encounters. Cam @amatricina Emperor Absolut Doctor Kaijin Vex WC: 993

The gathering took time but happened quicker than usual it seemed. He watched as each individual ship was slated to board the massive hangar. For those who had never been aboard the Omnipotence it was much like the sensation of entering a city more than a ship, lights shining down from a high ceiling and people of every race and creed bustling about, they weren't the only ships coming and going, with such proximity to Earth trade had become stimulated, all part of the plan of course. Through the hustle and bustle, a sergeant awaited each of them, Kamui greeted by a large, powder blue Xeno with long blonde hair and beard, forehead complete with two short but sharp horns, "Ah, you must be Kamui," he would say to the mechanized frost demon, meanwhile Meiku had her own escort in a sergeant named Sudae. They looked like a robot, however a small cephalopod like being about the size of a football was housed in the chest cavity of this robotic body, complete with four, metallic skinny arms and two legs, additionally a large cylindrical head that held three eye stalks that could swivel and turn. From a speak on the head placed where the mouth should be came a voice that contrary to the body, didn't sound mechanical at all, "Meiku, welcome aboard! I'm sergeant Sudae, Cam sent me to escort you," they would say before snapping a salute to the woman, gesturing for her to follow, "Right this way." Amatracina would find a familiar escort in Sergeant Scald. The Canean lizard man stood in his armored uniform but carried no anti-material rifle this time, the only apparent weapon he had was his holstered side-arm, though Caneans were known for their sharp claws and poisonous bite, not that the otherworldly demonic warlord would know this. "Amatricina," he hissed out, "I hear you're more than capable of execution the more wrathful side of our Emperor's will, impressive. He sent me to await you and make sure you're escorted quickly to the bridge. If you'll follow me," Scald, Leatha, and Sudae all leading their charges towards the same destination, operating the railcars and flipping switches, opening doors, doing all that was needed to keep travel across this massive ship brief. Kamui was the first to arrive, though Meiku and Amatricina were quick to follow, each of their escorts leaving them once they entered the bridge of the ship. Rising from his command chair the Kabochan Emperor would turn to greet his subordinates, smiling, though that smile wavered for a second when he noted Kamui's state, "Ah... What happened to you Kamui? You look the Ikondans got their hands on you," he remarked towards all the cybernetic implants, he murmured, "Hate to see what the other guy looks like," trying to at least make some light of the teenager's status as a cyborg, "Thank you all for coming. Our ranks are swelling, our technology, trade, and influence is spreading across the galaxy and vanguard it from those who would simply manipulate it for self-gain or motives that would send billions to fall upon their own swords in a war that seems endless." the Emperor concluded, "What we've built is strong. It's a beacon to the rest of the galaxy that they can reach for strength and find unity in all of this," he paused, looking from face to face. "It's still fragile though. I'm sure Polaris sees me as a proverbial head of a snake--one that hasn't truly bitten him yet, but that time will come. He'll try to cut the head off, simple as that," the thought was terrifying, he would have to fight many, many folks stronger than himself if he were going to do this, to unite the galaxy, that or he had to find some sort of way to unite what was already there, "The way I see it, the path forward is one of peace or one of brutal war. I will be marrying Colla soon no doubt, securing an Alliance with the Saiyan Dominion, I imagine that means I'll become a father eventually, but a child is far from a decent replacement. I trust all of you, that's one reason why you're here. Succession must have a clear path forward, I imagine that power would go to Colla," he remarked, "But until she's been married to me, we must know who would take over if I die, to do that you must all know what is at stake." He paused, his stance shifting as he stepped closer to the trio now, "The second reason is to determine the path forward, I am a leader but I am by no means the mightiest or smartest, to that end the path forward must be considered carefully. I am the final say, but any leader who disregards the brilliant minds and strong bodies that works alongside him is no leader at all." A hand brushed against the amulet around his neck, Amatricina knew the significance of such a burden and what it granted, "Set course for Kabocha," Cam ordered behind him, "There's something you all must see." He remarked. All at once the massive ship started to lurch, the sleeping giant awakened to react and quicker than one might think. The Emperor was taking them to his home world, for those that had never been, the galaxy regarded Kabocha as a sort of once proud but now dirty jewel. Intact, but dying. That was changing. When the Omnipotence would come into orbit over Kabocha a few minutes later, from orbit it looked much, much different, instead of the greenish brown marble in the sky it had turned emerald and blue, not too different from looking like the Earth at a distance, though the continents and bodies of water below were all in places they shouldn't have been. His planet had been restored, by who or what, was unknown.

The Omnipotence was a mechanical marvel.
That much Kamui was willing to admit. He was impressed, thoroughly impressed. The space station resembled more of a city within itself then it did a vessel, and the Frost Demon couldn't help but wonder just how much effort....and money, went into its' production.
It didn't take long for Kamui to be brought before the Emperor. In fact, he was the first one to arrive, soon to be followed by a woman the Frost Demon had never seen before. A humanoid woman, had to be in her early twenties. She was rather lovely to look at, however that was as far as he dared to go, for he was almost positive Kaiju wouldn't approve. Even while recovering from the wounds she suffered while in The Badlands, she still wouldn't be afraid to march onto the ship and destroy Kamui herself had he been caught even looking at another woman.
Regardless, Kamui bowed to her respectfully, his left hand held behind his back, while his right hand was tucked in front of him. Closing his eyes briefly, he spoke to Meiku ""A pleasure. My name is Lieutenant Kamui Solaris, a recent addition to the Confederacy." Opening his eyes, the Changeling broke his rather formal bow, raising his head towards Cam as the man addressed him, seemingly very curious as to his current state. Even the sheer mention of it angered Kamui. He wasn't angry at Cam for asking the question. It was only natural for one to be curious, when the last time they laid eyes on an individual, they were at least a foot taller, and fully organic.
Kamui decided that that moment would be as good an opportunity as ever to tell Cam, but such intent was interrupted by the arrival of Amatricina, whose grand appearance was deemed appropriate with the fact that she was the last of them to arrive. Her arrival made the Changeling slightly more annoyed then he already was. Her cruel and callous tactics on Planet Styx was not so easily forgotten, and was not regarded well with the Frost Demon. He saw Amatricina as a capable being, and a figure of power, but one who abused that power and viewed herself above the common folk. Above her followers. It was a trait that Kamui found himself despising time and time again in those who held seats of power. Using authority to bully and abuse those weaker. She had sapped the energy of the very soldiers who fought for her to power a portal to transport demons to her own realm. To satisfy her own side agenda. If they weren't in a formal meeting, and if Amatricina's deal wasn't with Carambolis himself, Kamui would've taken it upon himself to destroy the Demon Warlord right then and there. Yet, he stayed his hand, and simply allowed himself to move on. There were more important matters to address. As such, Kamui simply moved to his own chair and sat down, crossing his right leg over the left, his metallic tail resting comfortably in his lap.
Then, he listened. He didn't speak, but merely listened as Cam gave his introduction, and spoke of plans for the future. It was his first, and he found himself quickly being updated to a great deal of personal plans that the Emperor had in store. He had heard of Colla, the daughter of Supreme Commander Onyon of the Saiyan Dominion. Both were staples to the Saiyan Army. He had no idea the Emperor and Colla were....involved. However, he supposed that if it were to be anyone, it would be her. Hell, it would even make the alliance between the Saiyan Dominion and the Kabochan Confederacy that much stronger. As well as make the Galactic Empire hate both superpowers that much more. Not that Kamui cared too much about the Empire.
Upon Cam's statement regarding paying attention to the brilliant minds and strong bodies alongside him, Kamui's eyes darted over to Amatricina for a brief moment, before looking away. Yet, it was long enough to make a silent point clear, if she was indeed paying attention to the going ons at all.
However, he had to admit that the most striking part of this meeting so far was seeing Kabocha. As a space pirate, he had traveled across many sectors, and the East Quadrant was one in which he did frequent, although (with the exception of the last two of his raids) he had steered clear of Crusher Corps prior to his joining them. He had never deemed it fit to visit Kabocha, although he had seen the planet in passing, and had also reviewed records of them that were stored in the database of his old ship. He was under the impression that that planet had depleting resources and was essentially drying out, which lead to the race being as hardy and resourceful as could be. However....something had changed. It seemed the planet's geographical landscape and natural resources had replenished itself overnight, so quick that atmospheric readings hadn't even updated the galactic description of the planet for navigators. It took a moment for Kamui to even realize that he was looking at the same planet that he had overlooked so many times while thumbing through holofiles.
"How....interesting." Kamui remarked, for a moment too surprised to properly speak. So, he would simply leave it at that, leaving the talking to others. The time to share his update was not now, it would have to wait until after Cam had spoken his peace. However, he decided to alert the Kabochan Emperor to at least one thing.
His gaze shifting back to Cam, Kamui's brow furrowed as he focused his pyschic energy, forming a telepathic link between his mind and the Kabochan Emperor. Only when the link was safely established did he speak, from one mind to another.

When the Relentless berthed within the main hangar of the much large Omnipotence, Amatricina was among the first to depart 'her' warship. Command relived the to the captain of the vessel, who in turn was no doubt relieved for her to be out of his hair. It mattered little to the demoness, for she at arrived and been successful in her mission. She had much to report to the Emperor, and was more than happy he had requested her audience. Upon disembarking the hangar she was greeted by a familiar face, the reptilian brute Carambolis had sent to shadow her as she explored the depths of his flagship. Amatricina paused before the warrior, who was less armed though no less armored than their last meeting. "Scald..." She said simply, narrowing her ruby gaze. "Here to follow me again? Or do you just like basking yourself in my heat?" The demon chortled at her own remark, her coldblooded escort seemed less than enthused but held his tongue. Her tone softened, and the demon smiled. "You heard well then Scald, Our Emperor's dissidents lie slain at my feet, Styx has been returned to Crusher Corps authority, and the demons hiding among the populace now serve a higher calling." She gave a short curtsy, bells and jewels jingling from her horns. "Lead the way..."
Amatricina followed the Canean commander to the bridge of the warship, she knew well where it was, she had been there before. But Carambolis and his Confederacy seemed sticklers for protocol and the chain of command, so she felt no desire to step on the Emperor's toes with petty insubordination. The fire demon was last to arrive, entering the bridge not far behind an earthling of all beings. She herself thought the race weak and malleable, save for the few notable exceptions she had met in her travels. She wondered to herself what the woman's purpose was in this meeting? Her power level was unspectacular, at a glance, but humans seemed fond of suppressing their strength until they needed it most. It was an easy task for them to blend in among the weaker members of their race that way, she reasoned. Perhaps the woman was an infiltrator, a mole within the earthling government, or a replacement for King Ches once the Emperor's and the demon's plans had come to fruition. Regardless, Amatricina could simply ask latter. She stepped into the bridge with a hand at her hip and a haughty sashay to her step. Armored heels clinking against the metal floors as she found herself a seat opposite the cyborg Changeling, Lieutenant Kamui. She shot the warrior a teasing smile, before turning to listen intently as the Emperor rose from his throne. The demon held little interest in Carambolis' words, the monologuing speech on the state of mortal politics. The ongoing war between the Saiyan Dominion and the Galactic Empire, or the part the Kabochan Confederacy had to play in the growing conflict. Her only concern was on the great and powerful warriors that led the warring factions, those who's strength exceeded the Emperor's... and therefor her own. Though her strength had returned considerably since first arriving on earth, her demonic body adapting to the suffocating lack of Dark Energy in this realm, it was not enough. Amatricina still doubted she could hold a candle though to the Emperor should they fight, though she wagered it would be a much more even fight than he expected this time. A small grin crossed the demon's face as she thought on that matter, only half listening to Carambolis as he mentioned marrying some Saiyan woman named Colla. The name meant nothing to her, she assumed it was the daughter of the Saiyan ruler, who admittedly Amatricina also did not know the name of. Regardless, the Saiyans had proven themselves a formidable race of warriors, and from all the demon had seen of them they were a foe worth killing, and to be treated with begrudging respect. What did not sit well with Amatricina however, was when the Emperor said upon his unlikely death the authority of his rule would fall to his yet unwed wife. While primogeniture was all well and good in the Demon Realm among the warring clans, Amatricina was sworn to an individual, not a crown. She crossed her arms at the statement, exhaling sharply, two small wisps of black smoke pouring from her nostrils as she did so. "With all due respect My Emperor, the terms of my allegiance were sworn to you directly. I do not 'serve' the Kabochan Confederacy, and I am a member of the Crusher Corps in-name-only. My strength is pledged to you, and you alone, because my kind believe the strong must rule, and you are the strongest in this room. Should you perish I am not beholden to your widowed Empress, and I make no promises as to anything on the contrary." Amatricina's ruby eyes began to glow with fiery light, and she pointed a finger accusingly at the demonic amulet that Carambolis wore around his neck. "So long as you remain among of the living to rule your people, you'll find no grievances with me."With that the demoness relaxed herself, uncrossing her arms as she returned to listening to the Emperor's words. The man began to speak of showing them something, and Amatricina presumed it would be his transformed state again. However soon the Omnipotence began to drag itself against the sheer physics of its mass, accelerating as its engines willed its vast form into motion. Soon enough the vessel's mighty engines had spooled to full power, and the leviathan warship tore through space faster than the speed of light itself. It was no small engineering marvel a ship this large could even move at such speeds. Amatricina had seen and studied its power cores, they were an ancient design that defied even her kinds' knowledge of space travel. Another matter to discuss with the Emperor in private, at a latter date. For now she had a more important report to make with her superior. Amatricina cleared her throat, standing up and pushing back her seat. "My Emperor." She said simply, giving a short curtsy before addressing the meeting. "Allow me to use this time to make my formal report on my mission. As promised, I have retaken the rogue planet Styx, and returned it wholly to Crusher Corps authority. The resistance to your rule has been quashed, with some assistance from Lieutenant Solaris here." She motioned a hand to the cyborg, giving him a knowing look. "And the demonic population has been scoured of the world by my legion, and hauled back to my home world Monsigneus to serve until their dying breath. Lastly, I have left the warships Vigilance, and Unyielding in orbit above the planet to enforce law and order, and appointed the captain of the former as an interim planetary governor until you administrate a more permanent candidate. As you have willed, Styx is once more yours. Once we return to the Earth, I plan to resume my other assignment." Amatricina flashed a smile, fanged canines gleaming in the light of the bridge as the demon returned to her seat. The warship arrived at its destination not long after she finished her report, and the demoness stared out at the blue marble of a world before them. It was not dissimilar to earth, though she waited for the Emperor to say why they had set a course for this particular world.

Meiku was at least thankful that Cam had sent her an escort to meet her upon the mega-ship that was Omnipotence. Even with her photographic mind and knowledge of the layout, she found it easy to get sidetracked and lost within the miniture city and space port that was housed within. The woman was met by an odd xeno---part robotic in nature. Yet, the true brain of the being was housed within a robotic case. What Meiku wouldn’t give to disect him and the technology that allowed him to tango with those of a much larger size.
“Ah, thanks for the greetins’, you’re too kind Sudae. Lead the way!”
The woman smiled and walked alongside of the Xeno creature with her briefcase tightly in hand. Eventually they all arrived within the meeting room and found their seats amongst the rather long meeting table before Cam’s throne. Meiku was used to these types of affiars. After all, she had attended many a meeting, and even a fight alongside of the emperor. Despite appearances--the woman did get her hands dirty when it was necessary.
The mecha-frost demon was the first to greet her besides Cam. She returned a smile to his rather formal greeting a bow. Of course, she returned the gesture of good fate before brushing the silky locks of raven hair behind an ear.
As she sat and began preparing for the meeting she began scribbling notes upon the screen of her tablet. That was when her eyes shifted towards another arrival. Amatricina was not one she heard of---but from what she could feel in the air the woman was strong indeed. All of the people in the room were formidable fighters and could hold their own against most of the fighters in the universe save for a few exceptions. To be frank, Meiku was eager to test her own abilities.
She took note of the names of the individuals as they were introduced by themselves or Cam. Kamui seemed to have some manners and rational thought. But the huffing and puffing of the horned woman seemed to purplex Meiku.
As the talk of a successor for Cam went on her mind flipped back to Colla. She had been there as Cam was proposed to by Onyon and his daughter. It was awkward at best---but she had seen the woman fight by their side. She may have saved their asses in actuality.
“Colla is a good mate I would say---considering she probably outmatches even you Cam,” Meiku teased with a soft chuckled before leaning back into her chair. As the talk of successors and mission reports flowed through the room, Meiku took clear note. Upon her tablet she noted the successes of each of the members of the Confederacy as well as the status of their controlled planets and temporary governments. Logistics were a nuisense, but the woman found it necessary and almost fun to organize the data for the faction.
That was the way Meiku was. A fucking nerd.
The conversation continued after Cam ordered the ship to head towards Kabocha. With the magnificent technology that housed the ship Meiku marveled. They were moving way faster than the speed at which hyperspace travel could fathom. Her hear skipped a beat as she ran the math over again in her head---this was a marvel, even to the engineer.
Her gray orbs set on the viewport of the ship as stars and planets alike sped by them in a blur. Her ears in the meantime tried to pick up any interesting conversation; but it was hard to concentrate with such a gorgeous lightshow.
However, what shocked the girl futher was---Kabocha.
As the planet came to view the Earthling jumped from her seat. She rushed towards the viewport and marveled out the window at the...suddenly green Kabocha. Her jaw dropped, her mind race, and she felt a lump in her throat. In an instant the woman turned to the emperor himself and tried to seek answers.
Did he even realize what had happened in his stead? Did he plan this? Did he even have a hand in the restoration? SHE WAS JUST HERE A FEW HOURS AGO? How?! She felt as if she were going insane, but the expressions of even Kamui seemed purplexed.
“What the fuck?” Meiku mustered a broken sentence of profanity.
“CAM THE TREE---It’s...it’s gone,” Meiku pressed a flushed palm to the cold window of the ship as they closed in closer to the planet’s atmosphere. Once barren desserts were replaced with lush foliage and greenery. It was beautiful. It was all Meiku could wish for---but still, she had no hand in the result.
The months of work she had contributed to reseraching the Tree of Might and how to removed it and utilized it for Cam suddenly were useless. All of it, down the drain. Meiku awkwardly cleared her throats. As much as she wasn’t trying to cause a scene amongst the group, she didn’t know how to react.
“My lord,” Meiku mumbled to herself as she made the seemingly long trek back to her seat. Quickly she grabbed the tablet and began pulling up applications that monitored the health of the planet. It was---amazing.
Even the sensors that she placed in various habitats along the planets were responding with---positive readings. Still, this didn’t explain the missing tree---where was it? How could it have just been removed after so long? The woman was right on the edge of making a huge move to not only restore Kabocha---but utilize the tree for the benefit of the Kabocha Confederacy. Now---she was thrown for a loop.
“Well then----That’s an interesting turn of events,” Meiku mumbled before dimming the screen of her tablet and tossing it on the table in front of her. Her arms folded over her chest as she tried to even understand what happened. The only other person who knew of her plans was an ‘Earthling’ named Russ. He had understood her plight and even promised to help her restore Kabocha….But how? Could this be his doings? He was just some man who couldn’t even fly.

The emperor seemed amused at Amatricina's outburst that he was the one she had made a deal with, really he had expected that kind of reaction from the demoness, "Ah, you should see some fottage of how Colla fights, Meiku is right, I'm not sure I would want to face her ever myself. I'm sure I will, her being a Saiyan and all," the Kabochan concluded, "That said, I can't make you swear allegiance to anyone. You're free to leave anytime Amatracina, people follow me because it's their choice, not because I make them. As for your mission, well done. I'm sure we'll both benefit in the long term, errant demons running about our realm, taking over entire worlds isn't exactly my definition of something acceptable." There was certainly an irony to that sentiment given what Amatricina was, though she had some measure of oversight and direction, if nothing else Cam could at least predict her behavior. As psychic words entered Cam's mind, he would reply telepathically back, "Excellent Kamui. Give me the details and we'll make it happen." before he shifted around, "Someone interfered," he gestured towards the planet as their ship continued to descend, "I'm glad to see my homeworld so pristine and healthy, but someone robbed us of a tree of might. A problem we'll have to deal with, though I've some preserved pieces and many resources that were harvested. No seeds though," the Emperor concluded, even from orbit it could bee seen, the crumbling husk, "No. It's not gone Meiku, it's dead," like an ashy grey scar on the planet, he pointed to a spot on the planet, the tree grew so high and so mighty they often could be seen in a lower orbit. This was just that, a naked, dead tree. A symbol perhaps to the Kabochan people, but a loss all the same. "I'll be setting up an order on my home world. We'll cultivate enough food, gather enough minerals that entire new armies will be funded, we've been traded one boon for another." He shifted around, looking to Meiku, "Which means we can put that brilliant mind of yours towards new things. This doesn't change the plan, merely pushes it forward. How is the progress with our solution to the Ikonda problem?" He didn't hear anyone stepping up to the plate, so he decided to take the reigns now, "There's many irons in the fire. I'm trying to align with Earth--peacefully, mind you," he said towards Meiku, "Their king has lied to his people and in so doing started a religious revolution on false pretenses, I don't intend to let him get away with it. The galaxy deserves the truth--as much of it as it can handle anyway. To that end Amatracina has been helping me," he gestured towards the fire demon, "We'll need Ikonda to move forward from there. But this doesn't answer my question to succession should I fall before the marriage, who would take my place?" he asked, looking between the three of them, "I don't expect any of you to step forward with such high stakes, but I ask you all to be aware that someone will need to. We're about to enact some dangerous plans that once done, cannot be undone. The Galactic Empire will see us as their enemy and may come after us. Will, eventually." Returning to his chair, the Emperor admitted something pivotal that could not be ignored, "I need all of you now more than ever. We're at war and we've stood on the side lines for too long. We need to take Ikonda, we need to get Earth and its secondary systems on our side, and we need to enact our plan Kamui. When these things have happened, I will make the marriage happen, and we will defeat the Galactic Empire, whether Polaris survives or not, his rule of law, his oppression and wanton destruction will end." What would be left over, the Emperor couldn't say but he knew what was happening couldn't go on much longer, the Saiyan Dominion couldn't fight the Kabochan Confederacy's war for it forever, and it wasn't just his war, but it was going to be. Radia hadn't stepped onto the stage, Polaris and Carambolis had, and that was important, it meant Cam wasn't afraid to face his enemy, where Radia either was, or simply chose not to. However he wondered absently what her own Saiyan soldiers thought of what she was doing. Hell, Radia hadn't even come to face Carambolis when he took back his homeworld, they merely sent Colla and Onyon to do her bidding, something Cam had taken as a great insult. "I need to know someone can step up to the plate, that this doesn't end if or when I die," Cam murmured. Legacy. That was all Carambolis had. No children, no family, no loved ones, only this. Only his might and his rule, and if it could change the galaxy, he would be immortal, regardless of what happened.

Apparently Kamui wasn't alone in his disbelief. Out of all present, it seemed the Earthling, identified as Meiku by the Emperor, seemed the most shocked of the group. Almost nearing the point of anger. And from the way Cam spoke to her, it seemed the Earthling was some form of researcher, or perhaps holds some position that required great intellect and specialization. And in the world of science and reason, a phenomena such as this would of course prompt some outrage. At least, that was what Kamui guessed was the reason behind her apparent frustration and disbelief. It was hard to believe for him as well.
And then, there was that term again. The Tree of Might. This was the second time he has heard of such a thing, yet the meaning behind such a term still eluded him. However, the Tree of Might in this case seemed to be the cause for Kabocha's previous state, and the death of the tree was the cause for Kabocha's fast restoration. But what exactly was this Tree of Might, what did it do, and who planted it? And who killed it?
Kamui had too many questions to file through at the moment, but once again, his own personal concerns could wait for the end. There were too many topics to run through. His report was one of the more important priorities in his mind right now. Cam had responded to him telepathically, giving him permission to speak. However, the fact that the Emperor had responded telepathically, then subsequently switched topics when speaking aloud to the rest gave Kamui ample cause to not give voice to the topic, and simply speak telepathically to the Emperor. The rest of his report could be given orally.
My lord, shortly after you left me on Planet Cane, my ship was attacked by an Imperial Patroller, and a....Knight of sorts. The Knight's affiliation is unconfirmed, for after fighting me briefly, he seemed to switch tacts and contributed to saving my crew instead of continuing the efforts to destroy him. I know not his name, or where he came from. He is a mystery for another time, however. The Imperial Patroller, in question, boarded my ship and attempted to attack my soldiers. However, she was much too weak to be an ample concern, and I nearly killed her within moments. I left her to die by shooting her out to space in a Parasite Pod...however I kept her ship, which is in my possession.
"Imperial Patrollers are meant to travel throughout the galaxy safely, and throughout Imperial Territory swiftly, so it is imperative that they are not stopped, or if they are stopped for customs, access codes will provide swift and speedy access to the world's facilities. My technicians have been working to derive updated codes from the vessel, in which we can use to obtain access to Abbayor's surface. It contains a certain degree of risk, for playing with access codes can be tricky, but I am confident in our degrees of success."
After giving his telepathic report, Kamui satisfied himself with simply listening to remainder of Cam's speech, the Kabochan Emperor updating the others upon recent action to be taken upon Earth and its' inhabitants, speaking of yet another corrupt government leader, for it seemed a common trend amongst governments across the galaxy.
Then there was talk of an heir, just in case, which was a subject that Kamui found himself surprised to hear. He wasn't expecting the Confederacy to take such a bold stand against the Galactic Empire so soon. Polaris and his Empire was quite formidable and poised a certain threat to the galaxy. As much as Kamui disliked the Empire, he had to admit the prospect of facing them directly was a scary one. Not scary enough to frighten the Frost Demon into a corner, but just enough to make him tremble with anticipation.
Everyone is beatable. Even Polaris.
Only once Cam finished, did Kamui begin to speak.
"The subject of an heir is a difficult one, for ultimately you have the vision and the motivation. I am no stranger to leadership, nor am I afraid to challenge the status quo. However, I have not been here long enough to take the reigns of millions of soldiers and citizens unlike. Nor do I believe I have the moral drive behind my actions to do so effectively. However, I do not suppose I was even a candidate for such a position, so my disclaimer was all for naught. However...."
Kamui hesitated a moment, tapping the right armrest of his chair with a metallic finger.
"The boy." Kamui pondered briefly," Little experience, but a moral drive that eclipses nearly everyone in this room. One who truly desires peace and justice. A self esteem that has dropped below sea level, most certainly. But with enough molding, he could potentially lead the Confederacy. Consider that my compliment for the day. Of all the possible Changeling leaders in existence within this galaxy, I would personally pick him out of the bunch. Merely because he will refuse it outright. A leader who doesn't want the authority or power associated with leadership. I couldn't think of a better and more pure driven leader." Kamui said simply. The boy, in question, was Absolut. Someone who the Frost Demon Lieutenant had, for some odd reason, taken a liking to since he had met him, even if their first meeting did not give cause for mutual respect between the two. Kamui had in fact beaten and kidnapped the boy, before returning him to Emperor Carambolis several weeks after the fact. However, Kamui found himself admiring the boy's spirit, even if his confidence and physical strength was....absolute shit.
The boy wasn't a hero, because Kamui didn't believe in heroes. Yet, perhaps Absolut could change his mind in that aspect.
With that out of the way, Kamui deemed it a decent time to give his own report
Rising slightly, the cyborg Changeling gestured with a hand to the rest of the crowd.
"I would like to say I come with all good news, but I don't."
He looked to Cam first, before continuing,
"First, this is less a report that affects the Confederacy, and more of a personal report. My current form is the result of foolishness, and hubris beyond what could be considered....acceptable. I rushed into combat, throwing abandon to the wind, and got myself punished for it. I was chasing a bounty in the Eastern Quadrant, to the planet known as The Badlands. Was pursuing a bounty, a Heran Mercenary by the name of Vile. I believed myself capable of beating him, but found myself no match for him. His power level equaled up to slightly beyond six hundred thousand, and my rash behavior and belief that I could win....warranted this." Kamui said, gesturing down to his current appearance.
"In case you were wondering. May I also put it out there that I for one, despise this form, for it is hopelessly inadequate. However, I cannot regrow lost limbs or repair irreparable damage. So I simply must make due with technology. However....if any of you possess the skill or the means to remodel my body into a technological form more....fitting and less...torturous to my current mindset, much would be appreciated."
A hand raised to Kamui's forehead, the Cyborg Changeling began tampering with a few buttons and mode settings.
"Now...onto my report. Planet Cane is proving a mixed bag of success. The soldiers planted there are doing extremely well, and every week we find ourselves stretching farther and farther. The planet is a hard world to operate on, however it will not be long before it is subjected to our will."
There was a notable shift in the Changeling's tone as the next sentence spilled forth from his mechanical lips. Perhaps a trace of anger?
"However, I have met a setback."
Outstretching his right hand, a spike like protrusion shot from his pointer finger, before suddenly a 3D Holographic Projection layout flashed over the table, filling nearly the entire table with various shades of color, providing a rather realistic layout of a certain section of Planet Cane.
"Planet Cane, Planet Trade Organization Outpost #56. A week ago we received an alert from our seismic scanners. Environmental Anomaly Level Four on the scanners. I took a team of scouts and proceeded to investigate. Upon reaching the focal point of the seismic readings, my team was attacked, and the scouts killed. By this."
Suddenly, the 3D Projection scene vanished, and Kamui pointed the spiked protrusion up to a nearby wall, projecting something else. High Quality Footage, it seemed like, taken from a first person view. It seemed as if it was recorded and saved by Kamui's cybernetics.
A large figure in black. Reaching about eighteen feet in height (although due to the footage projection, such immense height was not drawn to scale). Silent, with golden eyes and black, scaly skin that was constantly shifting. The footage changed to scenes of battle, in which showed Mark I in combat with Kamui.
"I do not know what it is. Yet, I believe it is a form of Android. I know Earth is known for their creation of artificial life, however this seems to be of more...alien creation."
The footage audio would clearly (as clearly as one's voice could be heard above the sounds of battle, of course) depict Mark I's loud screeches, paired with him speaking in a rapid, foreign tongue.
"It doesn't match most known alien forms of communication." Kamui explained once more.
The footage shifted and showed Mark I, even larger than he was before. The quality of the video dropped severely by this point, but Mark I's massive frame was still recognizable. By this point, it was clear that the Android menace had suffered extreme damage, but was still pumping out attack after attack with a ferocity unlike most fighting styles.
"You cannot sense its' energy signature, but it was able to fight on par with myself at my full power. If I were to guess, its' power level, it is roughly equal to my own. I nearly had it down....but its' energy store seems almost....limitless. With enough damage to the power core, it showed signs of slowing down and weakening, but then powered right back up to finish me."
"It destroyed a team of elites that arrived to assist me, and proceeded to escape without being apprehended by myself, much to my....intense anger. What is more, is that it decided to completely rip me apart, one by one and forcibly interject his own coding into my cybernetic neural pathways. It was....extremely painful."
His hand rising once more to his face, Kamui turned yet another knob before bringing the 3D Projection screen back, ending the battle footage. This time, a list of coordinates appeared on a galaxy map, pointing to a single point in the Northern Quadrant. It seemed nearly encrypted. Yet wasn't encrypted was a message written in red font in a weird, nearly corrupted font.
"I will be waiting."
Kamui grunted, as if the process of simply emitting the coordinates and the message brought him pain.
"He killed two squadrons of my soldiers, defeated and broke me. And proceeded to hack his way into my mind and program me with a message for you, Emperor Carambolis. He wishes to meet you." He spat, the Frost Demon's anger, which was barely concealed to begin with, now fully showing through.
I want him dead. And I wish to kill him. This is a declaration of war, a challenge to you, and an insult to me. I do not tolerate either. He deserves to die, and I want to be the one to inflict it upon him. His victory over me was of a failed opportunity. One miscalculation, and it cost the battle. Next time, he will not be so lucky. I promise you, he will die. Or I will die first, whichever one happens first."

Shifting restlessly in her seat, Amatricina watched the earthling woman's reaction with mild curiosity. She was visibly upset, excited, even a touch ecstatic. The demon could also practically taste the envy dripping from her soul. Had this mortal girl, whom Carambolis quickly addressed as 'Meiku', been working to restore or even remove the so-called Tree of Might? The Emperor had told her the god-plant was both a boon for his race as well as a blight for his planet. Was this development going to prove the Confederacy's blessing, or its curse? The demon's attention quickly shifted back towards more immediate concerns... beings stronger than herself. She raised an eyebrow when Meiku said this Colla could defeat even Carambolis in a fight? Between Polaris, and this Colla, the thought crept into her head that she was perhaps backing the wrong faction. However until these beings proved their strength to her, she would remain content... for now. Names were just that to Amatricina, words. The demon scoffed aloud, before addressing her compatriots. "I will believe this Colla when I see her. I have felt Carambolis' strength, and there are several island chains and a mountain or two missing on earth that will testify on my behalf." The closest thing she'd said to a joke, the demoness crossed her arms beneath her massive bust, almost sulking at the memory of the Emperor's full power Helix Beam bringing her to the inch of consciousness. She perked up slightly when the Emperor thanked her for a successful mission, and Amatricina grinned slightly. "I was happy to help, and I'd gladly do it again you have another world rife with demonic influence. My legions hunger endlessly for fresh slaves. But for the record, I follow you because the terms of our agreement still stand." She chuckled, her grin widening at the audacity her Emperor's statement. "No, taking over entire worlds is only acceptable when the Emperor himself wills it..."As discussion shifted to the state of the planet Kabocha and the now withered Tree of Might, the demon listened in intently but deigned to speak, having little knowledge on the matter. Once again she found herself out of her depths when it came to mortal history, but the tree did ruthlessly pique her curiosity. She held suspicion it was a Kaiju, one of the great world-trees that bore fruit that became Shinjin. Although this tree seemingly did not bare fruit even when it was alive that turned into godly beings, as it should have. Perhaps it could not do so outside of Other World? Or perhaps the tree was corrupted, or atrophied in some way? Maybe the life energy it took to create fruit of the Kais was insufficient on a mortal world? Amatricina had many questions, and no answers. And with the tree seemingly dead, she was unlikely to find any definitive answers among its withered branches. Despite her vast knowledge of the Other World, Amatricina did not share her thoughts with her comrades, believing mortals unworthy of such information. Amatricina rubbed a hand to her chin, mulling over the tree. "If there truly no way to revive this Tree of Might? Outside of acquiring a new seed of course." The demon summoned a wispy orb of shadow in her other hand, gingerly coaxing it lovingly with a taloned finger. "There are those in my realm who practice foul black sorcery even my clan is distasteful of. Necromancy, the dark art of reanimating the dead. Though it does not return the spirit to the body, it does animate the limbs in a cruel mockery of life. The cadavers can walk, fights, and are usually predisposed to base desires like the urge to feed. But without their soul their minds are not whole, they retain none of their former personalities or intellect as they held while living." Amatricina crushed the orb with her hand, and the tendrils of darkness seeped back into her form through the seams of her gauntlet. "But... a tree is no thinking being. I cannot even begin to fathom the amount of black magic it would take to restore its form, or if the process would even work as desired. It could easily corrupt the Tree of Might, tainting its otherwise beneficial properties. Regardless, it is an avenue I would be willing to explore, if our Emperor willed it." With her brief spiel concluded the demon returned to quiet observation, she had offered the council her two cents on the matter. She may... experiment on a fragment of tree on her own accord later even if Carambolis declined her offer. When Carambolis asked if any of his council were willing to step forth and rule upon his death Amatricina simply scoffed, but otherwise remained silent on the matter. He had offered her a planet and she denied it. Now he offered up his whole government, and she did not so much as peep up. As tempting as the offer was, she had no hope of ruling realms in two separate dimensions. It was an arduous process just traveling between realms as is, and between the Kabochan's long history and innate distrust for demons, she knew well enough the faction would crumble instantly upon her ascending to lead it. But what of the others she mused to herself? She knew nothing of Meiku the earthling, what talents did she possess that qualified her for leadership? Or Kamui, he was a pirate turning cyborg. Powerful in his own right, but Amatricina doubted he any experience in ruling. "What of your commander. The female you seem to have such a high opinion of. Could she not rule in your stead?" Amatricina piped in, having long since forgotten Coca's name. Kamui offered his own solution to the problem of an heir. Some boy, a changeling child by the sound of things. Amatricina knew not of who he was talking of, but based on what she'd seen of Kamui's race, she could only assume this child held great power. But youth was no substitute for experience, not that she cared much for mortal politics. All this talk of heirs and ruling was growing thin on her patience. She wished to excuse herself from the room, go find a quiet place within the ship and meditate or train. But, common courtesy kept her paying some small attention on the matter at hand, even if bored her to tears. Her ruby gaze however remained locked on the sickly withered visage of the now rather ironically named Tree of Might, and all the untold secrets it held. This Meiku seemed to have studied the organism, perhaps she'd see if she could enlist her for her experimentation on the dead husk of the tree. The cyborg changed his subject to something more interesting, his dislike of his current predicament. She had questioned the changeling on his race's abilities when they had first met. Without the ability to transform due to his cybernetics, Kamui had expressed frustration and resentment of his crippled body. In that Amatricina saw opportunity. She cleared her throat to signify she wished to speak. A sinister smile slowly crossed her porcelain face. "Lieutenant Kamui, if I may be so bold, I believe I have a solution. My race cannot regenerate severe injuries such as dismemberment on our own. However, the power of Dark Energy is near limitless, and with our dark magics we can harness its chaotic power, using it to reconstitute our physical forms. I could do the same for you, if you wished it. But I can make no promises you would be able to survive the process. It is like drenching your every cell in dark energy, forcing them to regenerate lost or damaged tissue. Despite your race's nickname, you are no demon, and demonic ki does not flow from your spirit. And with the extent of your injuries... I cannot say for certain you'd even survive the procedure, or that it would not change you in ways I cannot yet fathom. But as always, my magics are at my allies' service..."Discussion shifted to a new threat, a mechanical life form from the Planet Cane. Kamui had briefly mentioned the world when he met Amatricina, and now she knew why he was so eager to finish his mission there. She looked at the footage of the strange creature, its appearance both unnatural and slightly unsettling. Like a mechanical parody of life, the demon did not like these artificial lifeforms, especially if they truly did lack a finite supply of stamina as flesh and blood beings did. "It is nothing of demonic origin." She added to the conversation. "Nor is its strange manner of speech any demonic tongue I know. This being is alien to me, I will attest it is not of the Demon Realm, for whatever comfort that is worth." She paused, feeling the anger and the rage building within Kamui. Wrath fast overpowering every sin within his heart, it brought a smile to the demon's face. "Kamui, if you wish to slay this menace to redeem your honor, I would suggest you redouble whatever your current training is. I'd be more than happy to help." Truly that was what Amatricina was today, helpful, without the slightest hint of ulterior motives. Except this time she was being earnest, aside from the fact she wished to feed the flames of the cyborg's wrath and corrupt what little virtue remained inside that cold mechanical shell he called a body.

Her mind was ablaze with thoughts. This tree, albiet still on the surface was as ashy as the tray of a chain smoker. Whatever chain of events led up to this was baffling. It made no scientifical sense. Whatever method of poison used to wilt this regerating monstrousity seemed to kill it by the time she left Kabocha. Sh--She just left. Purplexed she pipped down and listened to Cam as he spoke on.
That was when she was questioned about her work on her most recent project. She seemed to perk up. Her sullen eyes locked onto the Emperor before she found the words amongst her massive confusion clusterfuck of a brain.
“Oh right. I’m starting to find a nice symbiosis between both artificial and biological viruses. My aim is to combined the two to affect the Cybernetics of the Ikondans like you requested,” Meiku replied matter of factly. Still, there was a sadness that lined her words. She seemed almost apathethic.
“This would hinder the technological side of the Ikondans, aka---the part they rely on the most. During that time period you could do your bidding with ease. I should begin testing the strains in the coming days. Again, excuse me--I’ve been trying to stop working through the night at your suggestion. Therefore, I’m a bit slower.”
Her apologetic tone dropped off as her gaze shifted absently around the room. While she looked bored or lost, she was running a magnitude of projections, numbers, and possibilities through her mind.
The conversations that followed didn’t hold her attention much. Talks of Earth and their King’s misdoings weren’t of her concern. Talk of allying with the planet also didn’t matter to her. To be frank, the entire political game didn’t mean a thing to her. Even if Cam kicked her out of the faction today---it wouldn’t matter. She would still strive to make some sort of impact in the scientific community. Be it a feat of engineering madness, or something manifested in a lab.
That’s not to say she didn’t regard her friendship with Cam at all.
Kamui, the mecha thing went on to begin blabbing about imperials and some weird alien android that whooped his ass. Meiku stared at the projections with an idle expression. The thing looked distructive. In fact, she wouldn’t mind disecting it and preforming some experiments. Speaking of---this frost demon would be interesting to cut into as well.
She eyed the man and his cybernetic attachments. He seemed to hate the form and it’s hindrances. Perhaps there was a better way for him to live life. Maybe she had an answer.
Still--the ‘demon’ at the table spoke up next. Talks of heirs to the throne were…’thrown’ around as well. With such a lack of interest in politics it was clear Meiku had no interest. The horned woman didn’t care much for it either. Still, a suggestion was thrown around of Absolut. She nearly snorted at the thought.
“Absolut? That’s amusing.” Meiku mumbled before leaning back into the office chair.
“He’s a bit flighty and scared.”
It wasn’t a lie those. The boy nearly pissed his pants during their last chat with Supreme Commander Onyon. How could he run an entire faction?
Anyhow. Here they were on Kabocha. Whatever they had to discuss would take place in orbit? She shrugged the thought and retained her glazed over expression. She felt like an oddity at the table. She had no mission reports. Only dull talk of her laboratory. Talks of demonic energy, talks of empires, talks of weird space android aliens. The table certainly was open.

Carambolis gave a small, amused chuckle at Meiku's assertion that Absolut was indeed, flighty and scared, "You're not wrong there. He's a child still in many ways, perhaps a few years down the line he would be ready but I'm not so sure he is now." Cam concluded. All this conversation keep steering towards was that he simply didn't have a viable replacement among his ranks yet. Amatricina had suggest Coca, and she was a strong choice comparatively. Only one person stood out in his mind. "Right, well, I just wanted to have that conversation. I have no intentions of dying regardless of how strong an enemy we face. Raw strength hasn't been enough in the past, I can outsmart that as I need to," the truth of the matter is against Polaris, no one knew who would win. Sure his might and power seemed overwhelming, but then again he had lost a very important battle on Mitra. One of his lead henchmen had been struck down easily, and he had only just survived an assassination attempt from Colla herself. Were Cam and Colla to strike at the frost demon, he wouldn't have stood a chance, not to mention if this entourage was there to help. He had numbers, logistics, and his enemy was reeling, it was time to strike. "Meiku, an Ikondan has been retrieved from a scouting mission I sent some troops on, alive and well, save for some battle damage to restrain him. When you're ready to run the first test, you may use him as a subject." Cold perhaps, but if they were to win without killing the entire population the virus had to be debilitating enough to Ikondan technology that their system was broken, at least for a few hours. Then there was the whole matter of what Kamui had been bested by, "So he wishes to speak to me directly," Cam murmured. He could tell Kamui was a prideful changeling, he certainly didn't blame the cyborg for wanting another shot at this unknown enemy, a chance to restore his pride and defeat a potentially lethal foe that had killed some of Kamui's crew, and yet... "I'm going to go to these coordinates when we're done here, if such a creature could be brought into the fold, even temporarily, could only help turn the tide quicker. We don't win wars by destroying the things that can help us, even if they might seem monstrous. I'm more worried about the intentions and nature of something like this," he said gesturing to the display of images within the message, "And more importantly, who made something like this. I wouldn't blame the actions of something mechanical, rather the motives of whoever made it. Perhaps I can reach into its mind and pull out what information I seek, a sort of tit for tat, if you will Kamui," he could likely make the experience entirely unpleasant, even for a machine. "Amatricina. I want to finish with Earth, we're close to the goal I assume, and if you can get me a seat at the table with Ches, we'll end our mission there. You'll see a weak ruler be replaced with a strong one, as you seem to say it should be, and the Earth will have the charade its fallen under dissolved. Anything that can be destroyed by the truth should be," Cam concluded, "This little fox man buried himself when he lied about what happened on his planet. These satanists have already done damage across the galaxy, if we don't contain them they'll only cause more harm outside of Earth. Last thing we need is an interplanetary cult." Cam scoffed then at the idea. He shifted them to look back at his homeworld, "We have seeds of the tree of might, its legacy is not entirely lost. Perhaps a new host world will have to be claimed, something teeming with life but not civilization," a few worlds came to mind as his amber eyes met Amatricinas gaze. If anyone would cull a world for him, it would be her, though that was a talk for a different day. "Kamui. Your mission is to take planet Cane. Do not deviate from that mission again. The raging ki storm there threatens the entire planet. If it grows we may lose two entire species of warrior races from the galaxy, not to mention everything else that dusty world has to offer. We need it as a staging point, the golden fleece armada has set up shop in the Eastern quadrant so resources are there if you need the assistance, but that's become only more time sensitive. Make it so," his voice grew tiresome then, some iron and venom reinforcing the next phrase he uttered towards the Changeling, "Do not disappoint me. I don't care to see another world needlessly destroyed." He didn't mean to make it sound like a threat, more a warning that the teenagers actions had repercussions, "Once planet Cane is ours, we'll focus on the next prize. I intend to take Arcose and Vegeta. The Arcosians need to know that any attempt to restore the Frieza force or planet trade organization will be met with extreme force. We are not world enders, we will not tolerate those who wipe away whole civilizations for simple profit." Cam said affirmatively. Though, if he could get changelings in his army, how fearsome it would become. Sure, few were as strong as Frieza had once been, but even the most average of arcosians was worth a battalion of troops, maybe more. Not to mention what that would say to the rest of the galaxy if Carambolis could bring arguably the strongest race in the galaxy to heel. To serve the Kabochan Confederacy and write a new path for the species as a whole, one that wasn't soaked in endless blood and innumerable profit solely. "Once we have these planets, I will gift Vegeta back to the Saiyans, as they have gifted me Ikonda and Konats. When the entire East quadrant is brought into the fold alongside with Earth and its systems, our reach will be in every corner of the galaxy. Polaris and his army will have nowhere to run or hide and we will end this war once and for all. People who have never known freedom will know it wholly." And he will have atoned--atoned as much as he could. "I want you all at your very best. Completing your missions, gaining in even more power. Meiku, you're a brilliant mind, but if you could fight half as well as you think, you'd be a force of reckoning on any world," he complimented, "I am going to order a training regimen for you with my bodyguard Duria." He then looked towards Kamui, "You have the power to take Cane as it is, there's no enemy there to oppose you, only that raging ki storm. Stop it, earn your keep and prove your worth. There might be more in it for you than you think." He then looked towards Amatricina, "I know your terms, I won't pretend that I can order you as I do others, so I will state simply: get me what I need to take the Earth without bloodshed. I want a seat at the table with Ches. You say yourself, he's not fit to rule, so lets unseat him already."

One had to say that he wasn't expecting such a course of action.
Although it was safe to say he should have. Kamui's position was one of redemption. His own introduction into the Crusher Corps was of little difference than that of Mark I's. The fact that Cam would seek to bring the Android into the folds of his grand scheme simply due to impressive power and a desire to see the mechanical beast's advantage was little more than a sense of poetic justice in the case of the Mecha Frost Demon, for there were more than a few officers within the Crusher Corps ranks who felt the same way about Kamui's own inclusion into the Crusher Corps ranks when he first commanded armed forces on Planet Cane. Hell, there were most definitely officers who still believed the Changeling should have been killed rather than assimilated. Just as Kamui felt towards Mark I.
It was this realization that stayed Kamui's hand. That kept him from arguing with the Emperor further. To argue with Carambolis would be to have such a point brought up against him in front of the remainder of the people present, and Kamui had no desire to expose himself further in front of a seemingly uninterested audience. Thus, he did not. His time to speak was over. Now, it was merely time to listen.
Surprisingly, Kamui did not speak out against Cam the rest of the time he was giving orders. Even the forceful way of speaking to Kamui, as if warning him to not deviate from his orders again, went without question from the Changeling, who had deemed it fit. He knew his job, and he knew his purpose. To continue in the conquering of Planet Cane, and to tackle the raging Ki Storm that plagued the planet. How to go about it was certainly troublesome, given that he had no materials at his arsenal to consume a phenomena such as this, that has sat festering for over five hundred years.
But, he would have to figure a way to solve the issue.
"Yes, lord." Kamui spoke simply, moving to sit back down in his chair, his metallic tail once more folding over his lap.
"As it stands, the issue remains. I lead an army to conquer Planet Cane, yet the Ki Storm remains overhead. As it stands, I do not see how to break apart the storm. To absorb the energy into myself is suicide, as well as simply stupid. There must be a method to contain the storm, or to safely transfer it. I have men and I have bases, as well as myself. What I do not have is a sealing method. In which then I open the question up. A Ki storm plagues the atmosphere and grows stronger, as it has for five hundred years. We cannot simply destroy it with more concentrated energy blasts. In fact, energy such as that has become unstable due the planet's atmosphere. If there is a way to transport such energy and place it...somewhere else, I would love to hear such a method." He said, sighing lightly before looking to Amatricina.
Forming a psychic link with the woman as he did Cam, only then did Kamui move to answer the demon's wishes. His next words were fueled by a deep desire for vengeance. A refusal to sit idle while Mark I is recruited. A desire to kill, and to have the tools to kill him.
To Amatricina, he spoke telepathically:
Make a deal with the devil, I will. Do as you will, hone me as you will, and I will become the strongest in the universe. Do as you will to assist me, I do not care. And I will be happy to repay."

The Demon Lord gazed out the window, eyes focused on the decrepit husk of the supposedly once grant spectacle of a tree, whose sap yielded almost supernatural rejuvenation properties. She didn't even get to see the leaves, she wondered if they were green as most trees on earth, or red as were the ones of the few species of trees stubborn enough to grow on her home world. Their rocky bark and ashen leaves protected against the extreme heat of her volcanic world. Amatricina's attention was lost on her thoughts of the tree, she only half listened as the others prattled on about some cybernetic race. It seemed Meiku had created a weapon of sorts against them, as was requested. If Carambolis wanted to wipe out a population to expedite conquering them, then it had finally become clear why he had invited the otherwise unassuming earthling woman to this meeting. Between her fascination with the now dead tree and the supposedly restored world of Kabochan, and her apparent gift for technology and research, Amatricina assumed Meiku to be a valued scientist working in service to the Confederacy. It was the only explanation that made any sense to her. Amatricina's attention shifted back to matters at hand when the Emperor addressed her by name, the others had been discussing this 'Absolute' individual again. She would have to meet him at some point, to see what the others saw in the boy, especially since they continually addressed him as a child. She held no desire to be led by a child, the demoness was over eighteen hundred years old. There was a high probability she was born before Absolut's society first traveled the stars, it certainly felt that way with the pace at which the mortal civilizations tended to wipe each other back into the stone age. The demon smiled when Carambolis mentioned their task on earth, it had been her entire reason for ultimately siding with the Emperor. She nodded her head in agreement, the jewelry and ornate bells that hung from her horns jingling as she did. "I am in complete agreement." She said simply, snapping her fingers as wild crimson fire momentarily covered her form. As it dissipated the demoness had shifted back into her favored mortal guise. A tight red top and black leggings replaced the demoness' usual crimson and gold armor. The demon's normally wild mane of fiery red hair was fashioned into a long braided ponytail that trailed down to the small of her back. Amatricina's great crown of black horns were hidden away, replaced only by a simple black headband. Her armored heels were traded out for black high heels, and the normally ostentatious amount of jewelry the demoness wore was replaced by simple pair of ruby and gold earrings and a matching set of gold bracelets about her wrists. Lastly, Amatricina's normally crimson gaze was exchanged for soft blue eyes. She had long since mastered adopting her human guise at a moment's notice, perhaps a sign she was spending far too much time on earth. The stunning mortal woman smirked, this had been the form she first met the Emperor with. She had hoped to seduce him, but look where that had gotten her. "Amata Tricina has several contacts within the earthling government, the most notable being the commander of the Venus War Fleet, a human soldier by the name of Joshua." The two had a brief fling in North City, and though the man was somewhat skeptical of the woman, he was none the less enthralled by her beauty. Moreover, he was a capable warrior, malleable, and held a disliking of bureaucrats. The woman quickly shifted back into her true demonic form in a second burst of hellfire, snapping her fingers as she grinned ear to ear. "The weak should serve the strong, or be crushed beneath them. It is an edict my race has followed since we were enkindled by the blaze of the First Flame. I would love nothing better than to see King Ches deposed and despoiled. I care not if he lives or dies, I just want to see the light fade from his eyes as the cretin finally is exposed as the fraud he is." Amatricina licked her lips, already anticipating the terror that would seep from the man like puss from an open wound. "And then Carambolis, the Earth shall be yours. Just find someone who rules with might, not 'rhetoric' or 'compassion' like you told me earthlings do." Amatricina pointed to Meiku, shrugging her shoulders. "Perhaps Meiku here, I assume she is a powerful warrior. She can probably rule over the earthlings on the Emperor's behalf." The demon was only half serious with her suggestion, earthlings all looked the same to her, she just cared that their ruler ruled through strength as a proper leader should. She simple nodded as the Emperor gave her her marching orders. "As you will My Emperor..." came her swift reply. Amatricina shifted back to silence, listening to Kamui's report on the Planet Cane he been sent to conquer in the Emperor's name. When the cyborg's gaze turned to her, she rubbed at her chin thinking of how best to deal with the Ki storm that ravaged the world. "You have seen my Dark Siphon, but if you think trying to absorb the energy is folly, then so be it. I could conjure a portal to the Demon Realm, but I would have no way to draw the storm into the void, unless the rest of you have a means. Moreover, the act itself is massively taxing, I do not wish to do so without great necessity." Kamui was well aware of how much energy a sufficiently large dimensional rift took to create, he had seen the demon's finest one first hand. She felt a presence push against her mind, at first she assumed it was Carambolis attempting to speak with her telepathically as he had before. To her surprise it was Kamui's voice that flooded her mind, it was not an entirely unwelcomed intrusion. Fire Demon. Not devil, devils live in Hell. Her mental tone was curt, she was ceaselessly tired of mortals incorrectly associating her kind with the beings that serviced Hell in the Other World. And do not flatter yourself Kamui, so long as I draw breath, the title Strongest in the Universe will one day be mine. But, I'd rather strive towards it alongside you than against you. We can discuss this later, perhaps over training. This warship has a truly impressive number of gravity chambers, I have explored the Omnipotence quite thoroughly. Regardless, I accept your offer, if only to slate my curiosity. We can discuss payment later, perhaps you teach me these damnable psychic powers you mortals all seem to possess... Amatricina did not let her expression change, and let her inner voice drift off. She had said what she needed to, she disliked protracted conversations within her mind. It made her feel out of control of the situation, a feeling she did not like in the least.

Meiku found herself grinning at the news of a new lab rat. It wasn’t ethical for her to use another sapient being as a subject for experimentation, but it was the only way to ensure that her work was heading in the correct direction. If the woman had the chance to test her virus live, and before any sort of attack, she could rest easy that all would go well.
“Very well. I must say, I am a bit eager to begin my test runs on this virus. I think that I’ve created something very dibilating to their tehcnolofy. Something that wouldn’t interfere with our own as well. Hopefully I will be confident now that I have a testee for this new… erm, ‘vaccination’,” Meiku replied with a subtle nod.
However, what she didn’t expect next was the mention of her power. She wasn’t a weaking, no. But the woman could admit she wasn’t the type to chase power. She also wasn’t the person to put her body or physical needs first. Too long have nights of takeout affected her hips. Still, she wouldn’t lie and say she wasn’t eager to explore her potential.
“Oh? Duria agreed to that?” Meiku paused while searching her head for excuses not to participate and train. Did Cam not think that her mind was good enough of an asset? Did he really require another proverbial sword in his ‘armory’ of allies? A heavy sigh pressed from her lips as she leaned into the meeting table before her. All she did was nod and stare at the smooth tabletop.
“I suppose I could be bothered. After all, I know I’m more of an asset in that department,” Meiku mumbled while thinking of her power. She had achieved a transformation of strength that managed to increase her might thrice over. Still, she hadn’t tested it. She hadn’t a need to. Why would Cam care now? Was there such an imminant threat?
Her eyes shifted towards the mechanical being. She wondered just what technology held him together. Her gaze lingered for a long while. It was analytical in nature, he may even feel she were undressing him down to the neuron using only her gray optics. Speaking of lab rats---wouldn’t he be a lovely one to enhance? Making a stronger soldier was something she had grown an interest in while studying the biology of the Ikondans. They relied on the enhancement of technology, much like this man now did. If she used her mind for the good of those types of people, what could she achieve?
“I’d like to talk to who---or what put you back together in one piece. From the looks of it I bet they swept you up in chunks when they found ya eh?”
Blind assumptions maybe? Still, the extensive modifications to his frame only supplemented her argument.
Meanwhile, this ‘demon’ at her other side seemed to shift her physical appearance into something more familar. A human yes, but of some sort of unnatural allure. Meiku felt her cheeks fluster from the sight. Nonetheless she averted her gaze as soon as the fiery visage returned.
Alas, she was now brought back up in the conversation.
A gauntlet graced digit pointed towards Meiku. Agasp, she began to laugh at the comment. Her? Rule over the Earth? The notoriety sounded nice indeed---but was she even qualified for such? She barely paid attention in her civics class---and barely managed her own affairs. How was she to dictate an entire populace? Still, the thought indeed inticed her.
“Hmm? Me? You assume right, I’m not some weakling. I’ve served beside Emperor Carambolis before. Though, I wish it were more often….N--Not that I like to be around hi--” Her tongue twisted into knots as she began to wave her hands and dismiss her comments.
“I--I mean, I suppose combat is just a refreshing change of pace. Still, being a spearhead of a planet is a bit intimidating yes. Yet, my mind would organize it such as a well oiled machine. I wouldn’t see why it would be a problem if the, ‘negotiations’ led to such an ending."
There was a pause of long silence as the three others maintained an intense deadlock. Perhaps they were in each other’s heads? Everyone these days seemed to carry psychic abilities. Speaking of which--she needed to brush up on her magic as well. Perhaps she would inquire with Cam about that.
“Oh--that reminds me Cam. I wanted to practice a bit of my magical abilities---should I address that with Duria? He doesn’t really seem like the type,” Meiku replied with a chuckle. The story of the Earthling began with a strange anomaly earlier in the year. Her body randomly manifested objects at first. It was uncontrollable. One moment she would be looking for a pencil, the next---seven would shoot from her forearm. Eventually the powers became unstable, and even destructive.
After blowing up a good portion of her family's home she was sent off for their own, and her safety. Albiet it was on horrendous terms---she still hadn’t spoken to her family since she accidentally crashed her homemade ship into the---erm---now former desserts of Kabocha.
What replaced them now was almost unrecognizable. Her mused eyes focused on the recently green surface of the planet.
“It’s amazing really. I--I’m glad that it’s flourishing, but---I’m truly in awe of why. Maybe it is time that I refocus myself into something more constructive. I’m eager to show you what I’ve learned,” Meiku spoke confidently. She wasn’t speaking on her research either. She felt differently than when she first met the man---now she wanted to show him that.
“Who knows---maybe if you need an ‘heir’ I would take ya up on that. Still, I’m much too modest to admit that..Well, I suppose I just did huh?” Meiku closed her eyes and leaned her jaw into the palm of her hand. Cam , @amatricina , Doctor Kaijin Vex WC: 984 | 3595

Cam mused on Kamui and Amatricina's words for a moment. They had indeed posed a good question, absorbing a ki storm like that might have been something only he could do--quickly shaking his head, no, there were always multiple solutions to a problem, they just had to see them. "This is your challenge. Killing is easy, if I needed purely killers for my army and what we are, then I would have simply scooped up every Frieza force brigand and paid them a premium for their abilities. We're not just killers. We're healers, we're conquerors, we're installing a new order to everything, one where people won't have to know fear or tyranny unless they're a threat to their fellow men and women. Those beings, well, they get crushed into oblivion," Cam stated as a matter of fact, crushing his hand closed for effect, "Siphon the energy, carefully counter it with your own, perhaps those would work, however I do have something that can assist you in your endeavors. I want you to take on two new crew members." Cam announce to the Frost demon, reaching up to his scouter he pressed a button on the side, "Coca, have the naga brought here, gently please." It took only a moment for his trusted lieutenant to reply, "They're on their way." Shifting his gaze Amatricina Cam seemed elated, "My my, already sounds like you have an in. I've recently helped defend Earth from an assassination attempt as well. With all of that, this should become an easy task for you. Perhaps after Earth is brought in, we can test your abilities further. You value strength, I value it as well. It would please me to see all of you grow stronger," speaking to Meiku then, "As for your arcane abilities, if you wish to hone them with me, I won't say no. Duria is a good trainer day in and day out, he's even learned to channel something close to a super saiyans abilities, though it is somehow... Different," Cam murmured, "I've seen a few different transformations the Saiyans have, Oozaru, Super Saiyan, a legendary super Saiyan, this is altogether something different. I'm sure he'd take a challenge from any or all of you." He remarked then, tossing the idea out that perhaps the trio could fight Duria as a unit. Perhaps it would be fair then, underestimating his bodyguard would be a fatal mistake in most cases. Though then Meiku spoke of an heir, something he hadn't exactly expected, but it wasn't entirely an unwelcoming notion, "Ah, you taking over should things go sour?" he paused, in his minds eye trying to imagine the kind of leader that Meiku could be, her clothing more regal, her hair styled and skin and nails manicured and taken care of, he for a moment, imagined the human as an Empress, a hand coming up to touch the red jewel around his neck, imagining it around hers, the thought had a certain enticing appeal to it, it didn't hurt that the Emperor was surrounded by so many beautiful beings, though Kamui perhaps didn't fit that bill anymore, he was battle scarred and rugged in his own way. "I just don't care to see what I work for fall apart if things go to their worst outcome. If you would take on that mantle in that event, I would accept that as would my people, all you'd need to do is claim this," he pointed to the jewel around his neck, "It's known as the Emperor's blood amulet. The wearer is the Emperor of Kabocha, the king, the ruler of all there. No ifs, ands, or buts. If I were to put it on you now the loyalty I receive from my men would be the loyalty you would receive." He neglected to mention of course that the amulet was demonic in nature, Amatricina had revealed that little detail, he wondered suddenly if it had magic within it--it certainly felt otherworldy, perhaps it could compel others to serve and obey? After all, the Kabochan Confederacy and the Crusher Corp. had never once had any great acts of dissenting voices or mutinies, and mercenaries were fickle creatures, yet they followed him, he assumed because he paid well and always found a good fight for his men to participate in, plus it wasn't like they were fighting for a cause that would force them to do horrendous acts or crimes against humanity. It was then the Naga had been brought in. Two of them, unlike the other species of planet Cane the Caneans, Naga had no legs, only a hard armored scaled torso that melded into a stout, strong serpent tail, flecks of rust red and cobalt blue made up their scales which glinted and shined in the light of the monitors among the bridge. Duria and Scald escorted the pair, along with four other armed soldiers. The each had a collar around their necks, "Well, I had wondered who had taken us," apparently this was the first time they had seen Carambolis, "Ha'ta, Simmer," Cam stated their names, "Kamui, you would know these two as the voices in that prison that antagonized you. These are Naga. The second species of planet Cane. They are few in number, these might even be the last two, who knows?" the Emperor stated, "They live millenia at a time. They should be of some use, able to tell you how the storm started, they are to serve you, be careful though," their power is great. Flourishing a hand, his psychic powers snapped the collars that had been suppressing the brother's powers. Immediately their was a surge, well into the seventy thousands from each of them, "Ahaha!" Ha'ta laughed, he was the darker scaled of the two, more cobalt blue on his scales than rust red, lifting a palm an energy orb formed, aimed directly at Cam, "Time to die kabochan!--Augh!" Duria had sidled up right beside them, and with a simple manuever he gut punched Ha'ta, the energy channeled dissipating as quickly as it had come. Simmer gave a low, humming laugh, "That was foolish brother. We're no longer prisoners, we're guests. Lets act like it." Cam tapped his nose before pointing at the other Naga. "Indeed. You'd be dead if it weren't my orders that pulled you from that prison, so lets not forget that shall we?"

There it was. An idea was beginning to spark within the young Changeling.
Perhaps it was motivated by speaking more within the minds of others than the actual traditional method of speaking aloud. Whatever the reasoning, Kamui was beginning to form a hypothesis, a method in which to suppress and siphon the chaotic energy that so plagued Planet Cane.
While something that he had been able to do since he was young, before being reduced to such a mechanical form, the Changeling hadn't seen much use for psychokinesis beyond communication beyond a different medium then simple spoken speech. He had very rarely used it in battle. However, ever since he had lost to Vile, and his body had been reduced to near ash, the Changeling had sought strength in other avenues then just the simple punch punch slam. With such a decision came hours upon hours of honing other avenues of fighting. More indirect methods. Usually, they were meant to be used upon others, to inflict pain. However....
As the two Naga were brought in, Kamui's eyes slowly shifted from Cam's own frame to examine the two massive alien serpents who were brought in. The two whose voices plagued him within the Fridge. He recognized the serpent aliens, although they were in much better condition then when he had first found. And apparently they were to assist him. Join his crew even.
First, he would make a move to voice his idea to the public, before moving to address the Naga present.
"My plan is an ambitious one, but can be possible with sufficient energy. There are two methods of Ki Siphoning that I am capable of. I have never used either on such a large scale as to tackle a giant storm in space, but it is possible that I will be able to."
Kamui spread both hands out full length on either sides of him, his palms facing upwards. In his left hand, a ball of ethereal psychic energy would be conjured into existence, the ever shifting bubble moving in accordance to various stimuli. In his right hand, something seemed to be growing. Red and black Ki began to coalesce in the right palm, before forming something...solid...something that was moving. Several things in fact.
" My Psychic Absorption Barrier.." Kamui said, referring to the bubble of psychic energy on the left," A defensive technique I use that bends and folds when faced with opposing energy and impact force. Instead of deflecting, it absorbs the kinetic energy and Ki that comes into contact with it. I usually create bubbles large enough to encompass myself, but have never tested how large of one I can create by myself. However, if I am to have the energy loan from my crew...I could potentially create a much larger one. However, it may not be enough. Thus..."
Kamui gestured to the creation in his right hand," My second ki siphoning method. Ki Parasites. Artificial constructs created by my spiritual energy. They are not actually alive, but will mimic live creatures. They are meant to be infused into the living body to serve as a host, and feed off their energy and bodily organs. I am not positive they will be able to survive in a vacuum, but perhaps the amount of chaotic Ki that is present the atmosphere of Planet Cane will provide enough sustenance that it will not be an issue. Upon successful absorption on both fronts I can condense it enough for travel, with severe effort on my part. The energy will have to be released, and I am hesitant about absorbing it into myself. So perhaps in that front a dimensional rift would be useful. By that point Planet Cane will be safe, and I can transfer the condensed psychic ball of chaotic energy and overgrown parasites to Amatricina for disposal into the darkness." Kamui proposed. It was a plan that involved a great deal of strain on his part, but if several factors were to fall into play before that part, Kamui was sure he could accomplish such a task. The first and foremost was to restore his old body. However, that was discussion for another time, with another individual.
Finally deciding it fit to address them, Kamui's metallic tail slammed against the chair behind him with greater force then it had previous, the force sending a shuddering vibration throughout the room, accompanied by a loud metallic sound. Once he was sure, he had their attention, the Changeling addressed the pair of Naga.
"I am Lieutenant Kamui Solaris of Planet Abbayor." The Frost Demon introduced formally," "Ha'ta, Simmer. You have been brought here because I have the intent to save your world from destruction. Hundreds of years ago your world was invaded, and your people went to war with the very invaders who caused the storm that rages your world. Your people fought bravely, braver than most races I have met, and fought with honor. Thus, I will rectify the mistakes of my ancestors and assist you. I have a plan to save Planet Cane, and I trust you to join me on my mission to make it possible."
"I will propose this to you. When you step upon my ship, you are no longer prisoners. No longer guests to tread softly on the ground that belongs to a foreign body. You are considered soldiers of the Kabochan Confederacy. You are part of the crew of the Dread Spectre, you are part of my family. You will not be treated as slaves, but instead treated as equals amongst your fellow soldiers. You may even rise to leadership under me, as long as you perform. You no longer sit to wilt away in a forgotten jail cell, you will be paid handsomely as members of my crew. And, if it turns that after I save your world, you deem it fit that you no longer wish to work with me, I will personally request your transfer to the squadron of your choosing. Or even arrange provisions for you on your home planet. I do not seek to make slaves out of you, or to even force you in the tiniest bit. I am giving you the choice. You can help me help you, and serve as my officers, or you can not. I am fair, but I am not soft. So when you make the decision, do not make arrangements to double cross me. If you have concerns or questions before making your decision, air them before the floor in but a moment, so I may hear them." The Changeling finally finished, before moving to sit once more, intent to wait out the answer of the Naga.

Amatricina merely shrugged at Meiku's response to her suggestion she rule the earth. The demon did not truly care which earthling held dominion over the planet, so long as they were a capable warrior and ruled through force. So long as the new King of the Earth fit those criteria, and the weakling craven Ches made to suffer for his insolence, she was content. She dryly listened to bits and pieces of the conversation between the others, only half paying attention as her thoughts drifted back to the Tree of Might, or rather the now dead Husk of Might. Ideally she would be rid of this meeting, free to wander the ship at her leisure and travel down to Kabochan to study the giant flora in peace. Carambolis said something though that caught her interest. 'We're installing a new order to everything, one where people won't have to know fear or tyranny unless they're a threat to their fellow men and women.' She couldn't help but laugh to herself at the words, letting out a soft sigh and shaking her head at the rosy optimism. Did the Emperor forget in that moment with whom he consorted? He was free to be as blindly optimistic as he liked, Amatricina had no intention of changing her demonic ways. She rolled her eyes at such naivety, but deigned to speak up on the matter. It was the Emperor's council, not hers, and while she The demon grinned as the Emperor showed off his amulet. Her own hung clasped around her neck. His was the artifact of a Demon Lord, the symbol of power to the once mighty demon clan that had enthralled his race. Hers was a family heirloom, passed down from one generation of Warlord to the next, all the way back to when the First Flame placed it upon the next of his mightiest creation in the first generation of Fire Demons. She found it humorous how a man seeking to unite peoples great and small from across the stars wore the amulet of powerful, and likely very dead demon as his badge of office. Were he not as powerful as he was, she'd have long since considered reclaiming it for a more 'rightful' owner, namely her, specifically a glass case in her castle archives. But, things were not that simple, so Amatricina let this one slide. Kamui began to speak of his plans for this ki storm that ravaged the Planet Cane. He seemed to believe himself up for the apparently daunting task, going into great detail about his plans. Amatricina nodded along in silent agreement, listening as the cyborg illustrated his varying techniques that would be used to remove the hurdle from their way. "So between your Siphons and my Dimensional Rift, that is a great deal of ki needed to do so. As Kamui has seen, it takes a phenomenal amount of normal ki for me to create a stable portal of significant size. Depending on how big his 'condensed psychic ball of energy' ends up being, I could opt for a smaller rift... which would be preferable. Once in the Demon Realm the energy will simply be converted to Dark Energy in time, as most errant energy is." Amatricina debated summoning some of her siblings to assist in the matter, but she alone was in service to Carambolis. The fire demon had little desire to bring more of her siblings into the equation, helpful as they may be. She did not even remember if she had told the Emperor of her vast number of kin... though Kamui had seen the eldest three of her younger siblings. She raised an eyebrow when the hideous serpent creatures were brought force. While the demon admired some facets of their appearance, their size, physical prowess, and colorful scales, she found their overall forms too bestial and savage for her tastes. The demon mused on how the race would make fine demons in another life, poisoned fangs biting through armor as thick powerful tails crushed the life from her foes. Amatricina was slightly saddened to hear these Naga were few in numbers, her early dreams of a new vassal race within her clan dead on arrival. They certainly were lively, ill tempered creatures. Were she in Cam's shoes she'd have torn off one's head and forced the other to watch. The surviving one would at least be more compliant. It seemed these Naga were to be granted a chance at freedom, press ganged into Kamui's warship's crew. It was an odd turn of events, though Amatricina admitted to herself she did not begin to know the half events between the Emperor and her fellow compatriots. Her time in the mortal realm was predominantly spent on Earth, and now Styx. The landscape of her bargain with the Kabochan was ever changing, as if she had been caught in an ever growing web of alliances and promises. One man stood at the heart of it all, and she was looking directly at him. She felt compelled to speak to the Naga siblings on their behalf. "For what it is worth, Ha'ta and Simmer..." She stated simply, shifting restlessly in her seat. "Lieutenant Solaris fancies himself an honorable commander, he holds the safety, opinion, and companionship of his subordinates and crew in high regards. Be thankful he has extended such a merciful and generous offer to you, you would do well to accept it. Were I the one doing so, you would have no say in the matter. You'd be press ganged into indentured service, or forced into the front lines of combat as little better than cannon fodder. If you believe me a liar, there is a recently depopulated planet by the name of Styx that will attest to my statements." With that Amatricina let out a loud sigh, returning to quiet observation.

Meiku couldn’t believe the words she was speaking either. To be frank, she never saw herself as a leader---but she also didn’t see herself as a follower either. To think that she would rule over an entire planet, let alone an entire faction was quite a tremendous thought. While she enjoyed the thought of others holding her in high regards, she knew that it wasn’t all sunshine and sugar working as a leader of a confederacy. Surely some of the people under Cam’s jurisdiction looked towards the man as some sort of evil tyrant, right?
“I see, yeah--perhaps we should have a training session ourselves Cam. I don’t think I’ve ever faced you on a one on one spar. I’ve been able to admire your attacks on others, but I must say I wonder how much they hurt,” Meiku replied. It was an odd statement, but for the sake of science she had to explore every avenue. If she could gain power from understanding power, that was a wind in her book.
As for Duria, she knew the Saiyan was a bit crabby. Still, Cam held the man with high regards. It would be interesting to mess around in a fight with the man. However, Cam mentioned all three of the comrades going against him. Was Duria really such a force to be reckoned with? Sure--Cam mentioned that he had some sort of transformation up his sleeve, but didn’t everyone at this table?
Her eyes glazed over as the group talked about efforts on Cane as well as the other’s assignments. Meiku had spent way too much time locked away in her lab to even know the current events. Of course, that’s not to say she wasn’t interested. She was just way too invested in accomplishing her goals, and her goals required her to keep her head in the books. As dull as it was during the process, the glory she received at the end of a breakthrough was what kept the woman’s head on straight.
A person without goals was lost. A person without goals had nothing to push for, therefore they became weak and forgotten.
“You and your jewels Cam, if I didn’t know I’d think you were metro,” Meiku chuckled a bit under her breath as Carambolis explained the significance of the amulet around his neck. Oddly enough she could definitely feel the strange aura the gem emitted from across the room. The ruby color caught her eyes and kept them for a moment before it was announced more guests were to join the soiree.
“Nagas? W-What?” Meiku mumbled under her breath as the order was given to bring in the pair. It didn’t take long for the two slithering brothers to make their appearance. Meiku nearly gave herself whiplash to marvel at the two. Their coloring was mesmerizing, more so, she hadn’t seen very many Xeno creatures in her time.
Of course, Earth was crawling with a lot more now and days---that is, when Meiku left the house in her younger years. Most of her time was spent in the mechanic shop or at school. She had a few tentacle folks in her college course---but nothing like this.
"Whoa." It was all she could muster. The Earthling wasn’t afraid of snakes, no. Still, there was something about them that unnerved her. Perhaps it was the ki salvo that one manifested and prepared to hurl at the Emperor.
Duria swiftly put an end to that shenanigans, and soon the woman was second guessing Cam’s instructions to train alongside the Saiyan.
“Man, are you sure I have to train with Duria? My stomach already hurts just looking at him, let alone exchanging blows with the man."
Still, her comment wasn’t expecting a retort. If anything, she put a little humor into her words.
Meiku didn’t have much to add to the conversation, promises, or rants that Kamui went on to say to the brothers. Still, it was odd to see such a compassionate and levelheaded frost demon. He called his comrades family and gave them options. It was an oddity amongst his race---the only other person like that she had encountered was of course Absolut.
For now, her mind went back towards her more tangible projects of bringing a downfall to Ikonda---as well as restoring the Tree of Might to harvest its fruit. Since the first time she laid eyes on the Tree it was long past withered. The fruit it bore were rotten and less than desirable. Her and Cam had spoken about removing the tree and replanting it elsewhere to thrive and harvest since the soil of Kabocha was not ideal.
Having the fruit would be a tremendous asset for the Kabochan Confederacy; at the same time however, this would also mean more threats towards them. People seeking out that power and the fruit for the themselves would more than likely lead to more conflict. It was a tick for tack. Cam Doctor Kaijin Vex @amatricina WC: 825 | 4420
