Wild Space
South Quadrant, near the Kanassan Sector
To think, this was how the week was going to run.
To a Space Pirate, life was never considered simple, or even relatively easy. Commanding a crew of rowdy, violent scoundrels was by no means a walk in the park, and coordinating organized strikes on armed vessels with the intent of boarding and robbing the occupants blind was an even harder accomplishment, only finessed into art after years of experience and mercenary work under a Pirate Captain's belt. Usually, those who had the gall to call themselves a proper "Captain" were well into their pirating years, with the battle scars and verbal epics of riveting adventure and harrowing peril, the type to make one's hairs stand on edge. When one pictured a Captain of a pirate vessel, one pictured a chiseled veteran well into their advanced years, with enough age to hold vast stores of wisdom, yet not old enough to let the age impact his or her ability to lead or fight.
Kamui was nineteen years old, and had about three years of pirate activity under his belt.
Well, perhaps that was a bit misleading. In reality, the Changeling had had a criminal record since he was about nine years old. Starting off small with acts of petty theft and vandalism across several neighborhoods in his rather posh, wealthy neighborhood in Abbayor, the child's advancing years only led to advanced crimes, escalating into the realm of organized crime on a small scale, with the Changeling working with several street gangs, mostly consisting of lower class kids his age, that the local Imperial law enforcement had yet to suppress. In reality, Kamui had little reason to be involved in crime, for he had no need or gain out of it. He was hardly poor, his father was a lower tier noble in the grand Galactic Empire's social rank system, and thus was quite wealthy and well known, with Kamui and his sister being the "kids destined for greatness" once they reached the required age for enlistment in the Imperial armed forces, being dispatched into one of several fields. However, Kamui had little interest in nobility, and in his father's government connections. To him, he felt restrained by his father's reputation, and could never do what he wanted to do, even if what he wanted to do could have been at other's expense, which it often was. Thus, Kamui's criminal life only compounded upon itself until the top blew, and his father and sister were forced to put familial ties behind, and attempt to apprehend the sixteen year old Changeling as a criminal, prompting Kamui to flee from Abbayor, never to return.
That was three years ago, and let's just say that the three year respite from Imperial life hadn't left the teenager yearning.
In fact, it had left him quite bitter at his father and sister, and wishing nothing to do with them. It had been three years since he had seen them or any Imperial officials in which he had formerly found himself acquainted with. The most of Empire-esque thing he had seen was Imperial Patrol vessels, in which the pirate captain always made sure to steer clear of. Organized crime and organized imperialistic governments never did mesh well, despite the common adjective.
"You're daydreaming again, Lord Kamui. Perhaps we should keep tallies of such occurrences, for our official records." A voice to his immediate right perked up. Female, with a rather eloquent, well spoken ring to it.
Kaiju.
His second in command, and a brilliant warrior and tactician. The woman was a Makyan, a rare type of alien, not commonly seen ever since the destruction of the Makyo Star centuries ago, which caused the death of the majority of the species. She was Kamui's romantic interest, as well as the Changeling's protégé, and as such was the only person who could speak to him in such a manner without severe, and most likely fatal, repercussions.
Kamui, out of reflex, felt himself straighten in the Captain's Chair, his purple tail flickering back and forth. He was a rather sleek, handsome (and young looking) Changeling of multiple colors. His natural Bio Armor covered a great deal of his body, offering a breastplate and shoulder pads, as well as pink gemstones across the body. His multicolored skin also seemed to emulate pants, even though the bio armor served as all the clothing most Changelings needed, with any additional layers being up to personal preference.
Turning his head to Kaiju, Kamui allowed himself a small smile before speaking," Must you always berate me so, Lieutenant? There is no need for instruction just yet. Not until we reach Kanassa. From there, we must make rendezvous with Vladimir the Seer."
Kaiju nodded, having been reminded about fourteen times of exactly why they were going to Kanassa, even though the Makyan Lieutenant had remembered the purpose for travel after the first time. Yet, she knew better than to correct the Changeling. In public, at least. She couldn't look too comfortable engaging in banter with the man who was supposed to be her superior officer. Questions would rise, and no one liked questions.
"My question is more, what do you suppose to do with our guest that you brought on board the ship? You realize we cannot keep him, right? Unless it was your prerogative to recruit him?"
Absolut. Yes, the child Changeling that they had encountered back in the Eastern Sector. The defender of a carrier that Kamui had raided. The Captain himself went toe to toe with the younger Changeling, resulting in the younger Changeling falling to Kamui. However, instead of finish his opponent off, Kamui had rescued the child from what would have been a slow death, bleeding out on the floor of a stranded ship floating in the middle of space. Even now, Kamui could not properly conclude his reasoning for such a humane decision, but he figured he did it with the intent of being able to use the child in the future. For what, that had yet to be decided. But such could wait until the child awoke, of course.
"His fate is to be decided upon his first waking moment. I cannot speak to a sleeping boy." Kamui said simply, tapping upon the right armrest of his chair. The answer didn't seem to satisfy Kaiju in the slightest, yet she took it simply because she knew what the meaning behind it was. Kamui had no freaking clue, but was going to adapt to the motions as they came, as he was usually very good at.
Kamui's ship, dubbed "The Rogue Phantom", was a work of art. A beautifully crafted vessel of Arcosian creation, with more weaponry then there were people to operate them, and fast as hell. A recent modification to the ship that Kamui paid to have added in was what he liked to call "Parasites". What the parasites were were actually boarding craft, that shot with tremendous force from Kamui's vessel, with the intent of punching holes through an enemy ship's hull, almost immediately opening up to pressure seal the opening, to prevent leakage into the open atmosphere. The hatch would open, allowing Kamui's soldiers to successfully board, so that they could then take everything and anything that held any value.
Kamui himself had a crew of approximately sixty or so men, the vast majority on the...sketchy side. Recruited from the underbelly of Space Vegas, Kamui recreated hardened criminals, the type of people that have been on the streets since they knew how to toddle. The type of people with more street smarts than actual brain cells. While his crew weren't exactly the strongest group of scum in the galaxy, they were resourceful enough to get the jobs done. And of course, Arm Cannon Blasters were a lovely investment these days, and added a little extra punch when raiding time came. However, compared to the big time professional space pirates that tormented the galaxy's hyperspace routes, Kamui's crew size was less than a tenth the size. Thus, he needed every hand on deck for boarding when the time came, so Kamui had most of the operation duties handed off to service droids, specially crafted to perform the ship's duties, make repairs and work the controls and navigation.
One of such fellows, Kamui needed to speak with right now, and was usually positioned....well, right in front of him. Droid Commander Fritz, leader of the operating droids whose primary focus was to pilot the ship and operate the navigation maps and set courses.
"Commander Fritz, give me the current status. What is our ETA?"
Commander Fritz, a rather young looking Brench male, turned back to face Kamui and bowed, placing his right hand over his heart.
"My lord, we will reach Kanassa in a little less than an hour. From there on, we will inquire for landing permissions from Vladimir himself, and proceed the rest of the way on foot."
Kamui nodded his agreement with the plan,"Excellent. Proceed as planned, Commander."
Kamui leaned back in his chair, his tail swishing behind him as he reached over to a nearby table, his tail wrapping around his previously abandoned glass of wine. With a flick of his tail, he brought the alcoholic beverage to his lips and took a deep swig. He would be arriving soon.
And then he could proceed with his campaign.

From the dark silence of space, sparsely populated by pilots and commanders of various vessel, a lone ship that looked little more than a cookie in space was stuck – dead in the water, as the expression might go if she were stranded on a water planet. Just weeks ago, Zerori had managed with an Earthling friend to finish the mission that was supplied to her on the dust ball that was Earth. She’d barely managed to finish repairing her communications and send in a report on her findings when a plethora of dossiers, files and… surprise, surprise – new missions had come in. She’d stared at them for a good minute or so before exploding into a strong of expletives about the karma of it all. It took several drinks to calm herself down long enough to return to her shitty ship and pour over the missed ledgers, reports and briefings she was required to read over. Most of it was dated – bulletins and posts that most patrollers were required to keep in mind; something about a missing person that was important to the Emperor, while others were nothing more than the routine patrols that she was quite obviously late for. In those reports, something of a gem caught her eye as gleamed with a higher than usual color of importance. She’d given it a once over, not entirely feeling it, before she was interrupted by a call coming in. Within minutes, she was in a shouting match with an officer about what was expected of her during her ‘Parole’ and how easily it would be to end the service ’prematurely’. With gnashed teeth and a barely held tongue, Zerori sarcastic chose the mission that had caught her attention and none-to-politely announced that she’d embark on it soon. That was how she found herself in the situation, barely functioning with life support on as she tinkered around with the propulsion system from inside her ship. Below the seat, she was following a tattered manual as best she could while trying to fix the shoddy wiring for the ship. She wondered if this was just desserts for talking shit about that old junker* when she met that Saiyan woman. A loud zap followed by a hiss, the clunk of Zerori hitting her head on the underside of the panel and then a CRASH of Zerori throwing herself into the seat was an appropriate summary of her day in space. “Stupid piece of sh-AUGH!” She waved her finger, the burn and numbing sensation of electricity rushing through it still making her twitchy. With her other hand, she ran a brief scan of her propulsion system before she gave a sigh of relief that was working with minimal thrusters. “Finally…” The last thing she needed was to be stuck with space with no oxygen or (worse) starve. Back in business, Zerori scanned the rea for a suitable place to land and get her engine going properly again; anything to speed it along so she could just fuck off for a while! From her vector point outwards, she could see a few planetoids that could support life but were not entirely… suitable for a ship to get repairs. A bit further still was a planet that was tagged as a Galactic Empire asset, Kanassa and she could see that it was conquered suitably. “That’s my ticket,” She muttered, setting in the course. Little did she know that she was quickly speeding to within hailing range and – most dangerously – weapons range of an intimidatingly large cruiser. It wasn’t until she’d received an annoyingly loud alarm of an impending ship did she look through the viewscreens along the ship and nearly pale at the sheer size of what set off the alarms. “Are you fuckin’ kidding me?!” She exclaimed, quickly trying to find the cloak on her ship. Unsurprisingly… this shit didn’t have one. Or rather, didn’t install one. “Damn it!” Stewing in her seat, that left Zerori with very few options; while she couldn’t guarantee that the ship wasn’t confrontational, she wasn’t willing to stake her life on it. She could cut thrusters and let it proceed but something told her (possibly a gut feeling) that this ship was bad news. She glanced between what she could see of the ship before settling on a risky maneuver. “You only die once.” She laughed with a smirk, getting comfortable at the controls. She opened communications and set a hailing frequency, disabling any visual connection from her cockpit, before she started her introduction. “Arcosian Cruiser heading mark 151 point 256, on course to Kanassa, this is the Galactic Empire Patroller on duty,” She dropped formalities and leaned back in her seat. “This isn’t me bustin’ your balls or anything like that; more of a favor, actually. My ship needs some repairs and it’s going to take me DAYS to fix my engine. If it’s… not too much trouble, I’d like to request entry via your docking bay to work on my ship. I’d be more than happy to recompense for the trouble.” That was a lie, and a bold-faced one too. She was poor as shit. But the captain didn’t need to know that. Words: 885 Andrew C. Creed

It had been well over a month since Gallius had last dealt with pirates. After all the relic hunting he had done, it was finally time to get back into action. To the void he would venture once more. His target? A small band of pirates, who had taken it upon themselves to harass the local area and it’s denizens. The ship had disappeared, heading for a Realm known as Kanassa. These fiends would get to Konassa alright, in bindings and chains. The knight rode forth through the darkness of the Void. His golden shimmer could easily be mistaken for a large star, but that would drastically change as the knight closed in on the ship. Gallius would pass by a rather junky looking ship as his Glorious Pegasus burst forth. He caught two red dots emanating from within before passing by completely. Guess he knew what he would check after this. As the Knight edged ever closer to the hive of criminals, bursts of bright light would fling towards Gallius. Hm. So these fools had defense canons? Gallius would hold his arm down and form a large Greatsword. He would give it one good swing before holding it in front of him. The energy blasts were almost as big as the knight, horse and all. Gallius would allow one of the blasts to hit him, causing a magnificent explosion. He would come trotting out of the bright light, sword shimmering and slightly cracked. One blast after another impacted with the knight. Not one managed to slow his mad dash for the Arcosian ship. Once about 20ft away the knight would dispel his golden steed, sending him at top speed into the hull of the ship. He would impact it with a loud thud. As he regained his senses he would discard the Greatsword and summon two daggers. With them, he would begin to carve through the hull of the ship. Strike after strike dug him deeper into the ship. Eventually he would manage to burst his way into the ship, coming face to face with a pirate mechanic. Thanks to explosive decompression, the Mechanic would fly out into the cold void. Quickly Gallius would form a golden chain, throwing it towards the mechanic. It would wrap around him, causing his entire body to shimmer with a golden Aura. Gallius would pull the mechanic in and sock him in the face. He might not kill, but that did not mean he had to be gentle. The ships automated seals would finally kick in to pressurize the hallway. Gallius would form a short sword and unclip his shield from his back. Slowly he would proceed through the halls, shield raised in preparation for a counter attack. He would shout “Ceese thys now, an ye shalt be spared the payn of a thrashen!” to anyone within earshot. He knew it was against the teachings of Manus… But he almost wished they wouldn’t surrender. Gallius would raise up his shield, adding a solid layer of golden energy across it. It would take the shape of a Glittering Tower shield. “Ye get a syngel warnen!”

"ETA reduced to twenty five minutes!" Fritz called from in front of Kamui, alerting the Captain and Lieutenant as to their progress.
Kamui nodded briefly, leaning forward. In his mind, he was already planning his course of action. Kanassa was Imperial territory, he had spent enough time in school learning that when he was a good little Changeling boy. Whether his reputation within the Galactic Empire was somewhat inflated due to his father and sister, governments normally didn't take too kindly to pirate presences, mainly because....y'know....raiding and theft was illegal, unless done by the government of course.
He and Kaiju merely had to figure out exactly how to slip through customs without alerting the entire Empire that a pirate crew had intentions to land in Imperial territory, even if they had no intention of doing anything illegal there....well, not too illegal. However, it seemed as if he would never get the opportunity to truly concentrate and think, for it appeared there was something that caught his attention.....
"Incoming transmission, Captain. Imperial grade." Kaiju said softly, her hand already reaching for the button to accept the transmission. This wasn't the first time that the ship had received a call for the Empire, and they already had a system developed for it. While Kamui's identity wouldn't go over very well with anyone with any real access to the Empire's records, Kaiju's record with the Empire was rather clean, given she was merely a bounty hunter prior to becoming a pirate, and even to that extent she operated only on independent worlds, which lessened the chances of her name being recognized. This time, however, Kamui stayed her hand, and accepted the call himself, allowing for the transmission to come in clear."
“Arcosian Cruiser heading mark 151 point 256, on course to Kanassa, this is the Galactic Empire Patroller on duty. This isn’t me bustin’ your balls or anything like that; more of a favor, actually. My ship needs some repairs and it’s going to take me DAYS to fix my engine. If it’s… not too much trouble, I’d like to request entry via your docking bay to work on my ship. I’d be more than happy to recompense for the trouble.” "
The Changeling could hardly believe it. He had heard a lot of Imperial bullshit in his time. Hell, has anyone met his father? But this was new. On the list of poorly conceived lies to lure him into a false sense of security, this was by far the most pathetic. He, a pirate Captain, should let an Imperial Patroller board his ship simply because her ship needed repairs? She shouldn't even have let him become aware of her presence, for just as her voice picked up over the holo-transmission, Kamui became aware of her ship in his sensory radars. He was slightly tempted to blow the patrol ship out of space with his defense cannons right now. Yet, he held his fire for now. He would politely tell her to go the fuck away, and see what happens. As Kamui stood up, and cleared his throat to speak, he was granted another surprise.
Alarms blared throughout his ship as the entire vessel lurched and shook due to the tremendous impact force that came from....somewhere...
Kaiju, looked around, her eyes wide with alarm before she tapped on her scouter, activating the device's wireless radio.
"Lieutenant Kaiju, we have an intruder on board! Some type of...knight?! He burst straight through the hull in the lower levels Engineering without a ship! Permission to engage!"
Kaiju grimaced as she turned on her heel, beginning to walk off the bridge. She was about to confirm that the soldier was to engage the enemy, when Kamui got to the radio first.
"No, do not engage. I will handle the situation myself." He stated, much to Kaiju's surprise.
"Lord Kamui, I am more than capable of handling the enemy along with our crew..." She started, feeling as if the Changeling did not trust her with this threat
Looking back to ensurue Fritz's back was turned, Kamui leaned in, kissing the Makyan Lieutenant on the cheek.
"It's been awhile...since I've reminded the Empire of just what they're dealing with. I'll be but a moment." He said, believing this "Knight" to be but another cohort of the Imperial Patroller who tried to manipulate him into a false sense of security. Looking back to the transmission, Kamui pressed a button on his chair to allow a return transmission to the vessel.
"Darling, I am afraid you have answered that question for yourself already. I will allow you the chance to kick your pod into high gear and shoot away from this sector. I have no intention of killing you, but I will if you do not heed my warning and call off your partner." He said, before turning on his heel and leaving the bridge, not even waiting for a return message. He didn't need one, after all. If the woman heeded his warning, she and her partner would leave. If not, then oh well.
Now, to meet with a Knight.
Kamui wasn't even moving at full speed, yet he found himself in front of Gallius in just a few minutes. As Kamui instructed, his men did not engage, but instead made a defensive barricade of hastily thrown tables to bar Gallius's path through the ship. As Kamui approached the barricade, he looked to his own pirates. He could see the level of restraint in their body language. They wanted to engage, to open fire. But, the Changeling's commands kept them at bay.
"Retreat further into the ship, I will deal with the intruder myself." Kamui instructed, pushing the table barricades aside with his tail so he could face the Knight face to face. The sound of heavy footsteps slowly receding was enough verification that his orders were once again followed.
Alone with Gallius, Kamui chose to speak to the man first. To grant him warning just as he had to Zerori only moments ago.
"Leave and never return. I do not wish to kill you, but force my hand and I will only come back harder. This is your final warning. You know not what you are doing." He said, his voice as even and as calm as it always was. The Pirate Captain didn't show any indication of anger, or alarm. He was merely stating what he believed to be mercy. If one was intelligent enough to avoid a fight, then they would. However, if they truly wished to fight him, the Changeling had no reason to stay his hand. However, it would be on his terms.
"However, if your intention here was to cause harm. You may fight me in space. I am this ship's Captain. There is no need to bring the entire ship down with us, and kill everyone on board. My men say you infiltrated this vessel without a ship. So you should be fine fighting in a vacuum. However, there is if you wish to fight. The cards are in your hands. Play them well, for your sake."
Now, he merely had to wait, and see.

In her short existence in this universe, Zeorri like to think that she’d seen a lot in her life. The good, the bad, the weird and the ugly… But on this day, tucked away in her ship whilst awaiting the response from the owner of the Arcosian Cruiser, she could say… with a generous amount of certainty that she’d never seen what she saw before her eyes. The top of the cockpit was little more than a bubble-shaped glass that kept air in and the danger of space out – providing the convenience of seeing whatever was above her with added clarity. She stared, wide-eyed, as a being in what she could only assume was some kind of armor crashed into the side of the hull of the Arcosian Cruiser and was literally ripping into it with either weapons or their own fists. The sight was enough to elicit a disturbed twitch in her face as they somehow forced their way in to the ship – no doubt causing a sudden decompression to the pressurized cabins within. MORE INSANE was the body that flew out, was caught by a blindingly glowing golden chain and was flung BACK inside the ship. By this point, Zerori was seriously contemplating the pros and cons to trying to board the ship. She looked back at her console, face a little blue at the prospective of going head-to-head with whatever the fuck that was; it was at this point that she had received a response. As the message played on, Zerori’s face would change between a myriad of emotions. First, indignance that she was refused – well, can’t fool ‘em all – then, she scoffed with a smirk at the ‘merciful’ chance to escape before finally… her face dropped into a dead-panned expression. “…My what?” She looked between the console and the ship, double taking as the message finally sunk in and she scratched the back of her head. “Why the hell would he-? My Partner?!” Mystified that one could assume such a mystical entity – whatever else could that thing have been? – was a partner of hers was a dizzying prospect but something of an idea was slowly coming to mind. She scanned the ship once more, after the damage, and ignited her thrusters once more toward the opposite end of the ship where the docking bay was. They’d be distracted with the newest arrival, for sure, so they likely wouldn’t expect another threat to appear… Hopefully. The objective? Get in, steal some parts and get out. Maybe… if she was lucky, she might avoid a confrontation all together. As she turned, creeping into the bay doors, that hope was quickly tarnished with the view of quite a few bodies in the port. Her ship landed, quite a few of the Captain’s followers converging on her, Zerori would roll her shoulder with a sigh, “Wonder if I can talk my way out of this?” With a hiss, the top of the cockpit would rise. Just as it stopped, the hybrid would jump from the ship and brandish an energy pistol, firing with a laugh at the bodies that surrounded her ship. When she landed, spinning the gun between her finger with flair, the handful of followers that had likely intended to attacker all fell to the ground. She holstered the gun and made her way inward of the ship, “Nope.”Once inside the halls, Zerori would look both ways for any incoming grunts before she picked a direction and rushed down it at a brisk jog. Somewhere around here there had to be a section dedicated to storage and that might hold the parts she needed. After some time passing door after door after door, Zerori’s patience was wearing thin and she stopped at a junction before turning again, “Why isn’t anything LABELED?!” Not realizing that some ships actually had something called security. Imagine her surprise when she walked down a hall after miraculously not running into anyone… only to run into a hoard of the ship’s inhabitants as they were apparently in pursuit of someone. They all stopped, giving her a death glare as they clearly recognized her uniform; Zerori grimaced, clearly not expecting the group even though there was a ship full of them, “Hey, guys. Did you come for the free sauna?” At their confused expressions, Zerori’s hands ignited into flames and she grinned, “Cuz it’s about to get real fuckin’ HOT in here!” Before she threw her hands against the walls beside her and rapidly heated the halls to an excruciating temperature. She laughed as some of the group flailed at the sudden heat, flames raging alongside the walls. She was mostly unhindered by the heat, with exception to a bit of sweat gathered along her forehead. Some ran in the direction they came, while others that weren't as affected were bold enough to run at her. Words: 824 Andrew C. Creed

Gallius would close his eyes in frustration. Had he not given them enough warning? Perhaps this could be ended peacefully… “No” Gallius’ eyes would open suddenly and dart around the room attempting to find what had just whispered to him. Whatever it was, it didn’t sound friendly. Gallius would sigh and lower his shield. “I haf given ye warnen onse alredy!” He would shout angrily, slamming the brim of his shield on the ship’s floor. The ship would shake slightly at this sudden outburst. “He won’t listen to you” There it was again. The voice was beginning to get on Gallius’ nerves. It’s raspy, cold tone only distracted him from his current enemy. “Fyne… Ye won serender?” Gallius would raise his shield and throw it as hard as he could to his left side. The shield would slice through the emergency seals and cause another explosive decompression. Gallius’ golden aura would shroud him once more. Though something was strange about it this time. The golden color was dulled and darkened slightly. “Manus isn’t here now. Go on. Hurt him. Like how you wanted to hurt those bandits. Like how you wanted to tear Lilith’s castle apart and end her. How you wished to hang those cultists by their entrails....” Gallius would feel a dark presence, as if some unholy force stood next to him. Everything stood still, Gallius’ fear prevented him from looking around. “C-cees-” he would say rather weakly as the presence seemed to float ever closer. The knight would attempt to form a weapon, yet his hands seemed to shake too much to focus. “There is no reason you can’t hurt him… He lives to hurt others. What are you waiting for?” “W-wat ar ye?” The voice would chuckle slightly at the question. “Even the greatest of weapons carry Imperfections” Gallius’ eye would twitch slightly as the air escaped from the hall. The golden aura had dulled even more, barely giving off any light. Gallius would slowly look out to the void before turning back to the Frost Demon. “I am going to break you” he would quietly state. Suddenly Gallius would burst forth, dissipating his sword in favor for a halberd. Without blink the knight would thrust the Halberd forward in an attempt to hook the frost demon. Whether it pierced the demon or not didn’t matter as upon it connecting, Gallius would pull back the halberd with as much force as he could muster. This would cause both Kamui and Gallius to careen into space. The knight would propel himself towards Kamui, Halberd pointing forward as if he was attempting to lance the demon. Just before impacting with him, the Halberd would speedily extend to stab. Either way, the Halberd would dissipate upon finishing the move. Gallius, still floating forward, would form a Short sword in his hand. The knight would swiftly swipe at Kamui and flip the sword around to stab. Even the lack of gravity didn’t seem to impede the vicious strikes. If any strikes were to hit, blood would be spilt. BATTLE INFO - Sir Gallius, Prophet of Manus

Kaiju's Point of View
Power levels dropping like flies, calls for reinforcements over the wireless radio. This was absolute and utter insanity. How did Kamui expect for her to just sit pretty here on the bridge while their men were being killed by an Imperial?
Kaiju was a proud woman. Proud of her own strength, proud of what she had helped Kamui achieved. Proud of her position. She did not take her rank lightly, she knew she had a responsibility to uphold with that position, and it certainly did not include doing nothing while the remainder of the crew suffered. She had to do something, regardless of Kamui's orders.
Turning on her heels, she made her way down the corridor. She allowed her power level to burst free, skyrocketing from her suppressed three thousand all the way to an intimidating thirty thousand, her hair standing on edge as she did so, and her eyes gaining a red tint to them. She was angry, furious even. Like Kamui, she was quite fond of her crew, and took great care to ensure that they were well taken care of, and was concerned for their well being at all times. Not to say that her and Kamui hovered over them, but they would never do wrong by the ragtag group of scoundrels. So to hear the screams as soldiers encountered the enemy....it enraged her. And she needed something to take that rage out on.
Lucky for her, it didn't take Kaiju long to find Zerori. Partially because she was speed walking without even noticing it. Emphasis on the "speed" part.
As she stood before Zerori, Kaiju's eyes flickered around at the burning walls and the flailing soldiers trapped in the sweltering heat. Growling in anger, Kaiju took ahold of the white cape that trailed behind her and brandished it, waving it rapidly in the direction of Zerori. Infusing the cape with Ki, she released violent gusts of ice cold wind, that would shoot in a funnel through the hallway, snuffing out the flames, and most definitely threatening to smack into Zerori with the force of an incoming train, knocking her farther down the hallway if such an attack found its' mark as intended.
"Consider yourself eradicated, Imperial." Kaiju said as she raised her left palm at shoulder height, a pink sphere of Ki taking shape in her palm, her body exploding outwards in a light blue aura as she prepared to fight Zerori.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Kamui's Point of View
Fool.
Kamui found himself once more disappointed by the failings of humanity. Did this man consider himself some sort of daring hero, dressing in the garb belonging to an era in human history long past? Bursting onto a ship and attacking the crew who were not even prepared for an attack? Was this what passed for heroism? Kamui despised the self righteous type. Those who often hid behind the guise of working for the "greater good" or to "defend the innocent" often didn't even know what they were talking about. First, there are no truly innocent people in the galaxy, unless one was speaking of infants or small children. Secondly, Kamui strongly believed that everyone, whether they were ready to admit it or not, did everything for a reason. To satisfy an ulterior motive. No one did anything out of "the goodness of their heart", although that was considered a noble purpose to provide to the public in order to paint the hero in a positive light.
In reality, heroes were just as wicked as the villains they tried to convince themselves they were better than.
And Gallius was no different. His general attitude proved it, which merely solidified Kamui's decision. He was going to destroy this fool.
Kamui closed his eyes as Gallius's shield crashed against the hull of his ship, the Knight's overwhelming strength slicing through the emergency seals, causing a vacuum to once again form, the ever present emptiness of space seeking to consume all who remained inside the ship. Kamui allowed himself to be taken by space, flying out of the opening and out into open space. Given the anatomy of Changelings, his kind did not need oxygen to survive, making them fully capable of surviving indefinitely in a vacuum. As they both exited the vessel, a second pair of emergency seals would deploy, closing their entry point to prevent too much oxygen from leaving the ship.
Taking Gallius's internal debate as a chance to center his own mind, Kamui closed his eyes, falling into a deep meditative state to focus his thoughts, the stoic Changeling entering a state of impassive, infallible calm. A state he liked to assume during battle, or during any state which required his own focus, for it allowed him to think clearly to deftly analyze another's movements, and even feel out attacks through one's mind eye, via the Changeling's rather extensive psychic prowess. The latter technique was used when Gallius charged at him, with intent to spill his blood. As Gallius struck at him, Kamui did not open his eyes, instead moving in tandem with Gallius's own attacks, shifting back and forth, allowing Gallius's assault to, time and time again, meet empty air. Upon the end of Gallius's rush, the Changeling would disappear, his body flickering out of existence via a rather unique form of Rapid Movement, in which an ethereal afterimage of Kamui would be left in his place.
Appearing a few meters to Gallius's back, the Changeling would open his eyes, his aura immediately exploding outwards as he released his power, his power skyrocketing, breaking eighty thousand! he would immediately thrust his right arm outwards, clasping his other hand over his forearm, in a support. A large sphere of pink colored Ki would immediately form in the young Changeling's hand, before he fired it in an immense beam of Ki, the likes of which heading straight for the Knight! Even before the first one made moves to connect, Kamui would repeat the attack, sending another devastatingly powerful energy wave in the direction of Gallius.

The cries and screams of the various aliens as they writhed, thrashed and felt overall agony from her heat were as entertaining as a show or theatrical performance – incited by her own actions. While some fell to her flames, others were les than affected and made to attack her; weapons, their fists, arms – it didn’t matter to her. For the moment, she released the flames and sidestepped a particularly fast guard – a fast jab with the back of her hand thrown into the side of their helmet easily disorienting them. She followed up with a powerful axe kick, taking great pleasure in the dent made in the walls as they slammed against it. Another came at her, their swing wide just like their build, and she easily defended with the bulk of her forearm, grinning all the while. At their shocked expression, Zerori just scoffed, “Don’t be so surprised. The Empire doesn’t hire pussies!” With lightning speed, Zerori switched the block into a grapple and pulled the larger guard’s arm down before forcing it in a direction it wasn’t meant to go before dropping them where they lay, groaning all the while in pain. Darkly, she chuckled and stepped over the no out-of-commission fighter and made her way forward. She’d scarcely taken a handful of steps before a massive, freezing wind, nearly put her on her ass – grappling the wall for ballast as she stared ahead with fangs bared. She could only see white, flailing in a circle before suddenly it was in her face as she was thrown back. The sheer strength of it had damn near given her whiplash, the slam of her back knocking the air from her before she rolled back to her feet in a save. The voice of the woman had Zerori growl low in the back of her throat before she stood and returned the sentiment, “We’ll see about THAT!” Before she rushed forward. Like most others that were specifically trained, Zerori wasn’t entirely proficient and feeling the energy of others; though that didn’t mean she was entirely without sense. Like a candle or a campfire, the scent of power was a trait shared by the blood of her heritage and she could smell that this woman was no joke. Still, that didn’t mean she couldn’t try! As she quickly made to close distance between them, bounding over pained bodies and twisting passed other guards that hadn’t succumbed to her power – Zerori was about ten feet from the woman before she dashed at the wall to the left of her and appeared to run it a few paces before she twisted her body to swung her heel, directing it across the woman’s cheek in an attempt to interrupt whatever she might do with the ball of energy. The knight’s eyes would darken even further as the explosive Aura forced him into an uncontrollable spin. The knight would stop within a few feet of the ship before giving a blood curdling shout. It seemed distorted, as if shifting between various pitches. His eyes would burst with the darkened yellow color, leaking trails of the light from his great helm’s eye slits. The once pristine surcoat slowly fell away. The mail hauberk underneath seemed heavily damaged with a few major holes on the chest. He would begin to form two large swords in his hands, before suddenly stopping and letting them dissipate. He heard something, no, felt something. It was as if the very lives of Kamui’s crew had become tangible. They were screaming in pain and fear. Their presence slowly fading away into an empty void… Gallius’ eyes would burst once more, but this time with his previous golden aura. He would quickly flip around to face the ship, ignoring Kamui completely. Gallius would begin to form a large sphere of Golden light, shouting “SALVOS FÁCERET!” as it expanded and consumed the ship in a bright flash. After the flash dissipated, the ship would be surrounded in a transparent, golden orb. The breach had been contained totally, and any injured crewmate within was slowly being healed from the brink of death. Gallius continued to hold his hands out in order to sustain the shield, it strained him greatly. Gallius could feel his body burn in pure agony as his adrenaline began to fade slowly. The sheer effort of sustaining the sphere seemed to tear his muscles apart. Why did he attack that damned Frost Demon? It was foolish, he was even willing to speak with Gallius! Now these men’s lives were endangered. Because of him and his emotional outburst… Pirates or not, no man shall fall by his hand. Not after the revolts. He was the prophet of Manus, a tool for good and protection! He would quickly turn to Kamui, who he had completely ignored up to this point. “Ye men be dien. Tis not the cas of the void, save em all” With saying that, he would double his efforts into the shield. He had made a mess of this all. Even if it meant breaking his own body, no one else would be hurt this day. But even so that voice was so… convincing. It had managed to sway Gallius with such ease. Was he truly as devoted to Manus as he had once thought? He would banish the thought as quickly as he could. All his focus was needed for sustaining this shield. It will not take much longer to eradicate this one.
Even as the explosion of his Death Cannon filled the emptiness of space, Kamui knew his opponent wasn't dead, nor did he need his scouter visor to read him the energy level readings to let him know of such a fact. He was perfectly capable of sensing Ki all on his own without the use of such technology. The scouter, was more for other purposes.
Yet, his concern laid more in the fact that Gallius was still alive. And still posed a threat to his crew. And if there was one thing that Kamui would; not allow, it was those whose intent was to harm his crew. His crew was like a family to him, lives who had sworn fealty to him. Men and women ready at a moments' notice to take up arms. Those willing to risk their lives for the ship. He had recruited each and every one of them, had made sure to look after each and every one of them. They each held an intense, burning loyalty to him, and him to them. And if needed, he would sacrifice himself for them.
A pirate who was not completely ruthless. How interesting.
Which was why he was so intent on destroying those who wished to harm his crew, and would stop at nothing to eradicate them. Every man and woman on board The Rogue Phantom was as dear to him as his own self was valued.
"You will not continue any further!" Kamui cried out. He had mistakenly perceived Gallius' attempt to reconcile for the damage he caused as an attack, one with the caliber to destroy his vessel and its' occupants in one fell swoop.
Kamui directed his finger straight to the sky, yellow electricity sparking from his fingertip. He had one chance at this....one chance to completely obliterate this Knight with no chance of escape. Kamui's body flickered out view as he utilized Sonic Warp to warp across a vast distance, appearing not too far in front of Gallius, with his back to the vessel to avoid the chance of collateral damage. A small yellow orb had appeared on Changeling's fingertip by that point.
"I'll be damned...if I allow you to destroy MY SHIP! Fall unto dust, insect." Kamui yelled out as energy continued to coalesce into his fingertip, the Changeling's blue aura flaring erratically, the gathering of so much energy apparently a struggle for the rather capable Frost Demon.
But then again, once Kamui was ready...it was easy to see why.
Kamui's yellow orb of Ki expanded outwards at a near exponential rate, representing the sun in appearance. The orb grew larger and larger, many times larger than Kamui himself, so much so that it looked like the energy sphere, which was crackling with black electricity along the frame, looked just as ready to engulf the caster than it was not.
"I will not allow you!" Kamui said, rearing back his hand, preparing to release his Supernova upon the opponent.
Only to dissipate it a moment later, the expended Ki rushing back into the Changeling as he dispelled the attack.....
Kamui could hardly expect such a turn of events. Gallius' would be attack wasn't an attack at all. In fact, the golden light of energy he seemed to be emitting was stabilizing his vessel. Not only that, but as several readings upon his scouter visor was alerting him to, there were several fading power levels, those belonging to several of his dying crew members, who were shooting back up! This Knight...who had initiated the attack in the first place...was helping him?
"Ye men be dien. Tis not the cas of the void, save em all!"
He was telling him to....save his crew? Kamui could hardly understand why...why he would do such a thing? However, he hardly had the time to speculate. Gallius was correct. Even now, he could feel the power level of the Imperial Patrolwoman, fighting his first Lieutenant. She was all who was left....
Not for long.
She had been the one to dispatch several of his soldiers with lethal force. The one to combat and invade his ship after Gallius. While both were to blame, the Holy Knight was the one helping him right now, which meant any sense of animosity the Commodore held for the man...for the time being. Which, unfortunately for Zerori meant, that all Kamui's attention could be focused solely on her.
Kamui's body flickered out of view as he shot inside of his ship. Several brief images of him could be seen as he rapidly shot through the ship. Finally, he ceased his rush through the ship. Appearing a few meters away from where Kaiju and Zerori were furiously duking it out. He considered briefly allowing Kaiju to deal with the Imperial...but thought better of it. She was here for him....so he'd show her exactly what it meant to hunt for him.
"Kaiju!" He cried out, providing only a moment's warning, before he outstretched his pointer finger outwards, pink Ki coalescing on his fingertip.
Kamui would allow his energy to flare up, shaking the very foundation of the vessel, as a final bit of warning before he would release his attack, unleashing a barrage of sharp, thin energy beams from his pointer finger, his right hand moving furiously from left to right as he released the blasts, intent on having one of them at the very least wreak havoc upon Zerori's exposed body.

Tch, shit - her hits are actually REALLY starting to hurt! Zerori winced, narrowly avoiding being clocked right in the cheek but enough to graze the bone. Back and forth, one having an obvious advantage over the other in terms of raw power while the other was gritting their teeth in concentration, the two women were nearly even in terms of martial proficiency. This wasn’t what Zerori had in mind for a plan when she boarded this ship, but well, shit happens. Now, she had to just survive long enough to either escape or come up with an appropriate lie. Something told her that it was better to go for the former, rather than the later… In the midst of their tete-a-tete, a sudden light of gold would permeate through the ship and it made the hybrid pause in confusion before she jumped away from the woman that had attacked her, “What the hell is this?” She looked around, seeing suddenly that the hull of the ship she had damage was starting to mend. Around her, guards and soldier that she had burnt to a crisp were starting to apparently heal, moving once again as if brought back to life. Apparently, putting them out of the fight wasn’t going to be that easy. She looked back to the woman before barking, “What just happened?!” As if expecting that she would have an answer, assuming she’d done something to bring reinforcements. When a sudden call for a ‘Kaiju!’ rang out, Zerori’s concentration was diverted to the voice of another, just in time for a blast to come hurtling at her at near-light speed. Shit! Throwing her arm back quickly, Zerori threw her right hand outwards to push the barrage of blasts away from her, redirected this way and that. Some impacted against the walls while others were thrown behind her, all avoiding her save for a few lucky hits that burned into her armor. The result was a small cloud of debris, slowly fading away from where her body stood. For a moment, all seemed calm – as if she might have perished in the barrage. Then, in a burst of speed, Zerori would barrel with all the fury of a freight train towards the man responsible for the attack. Kaiju was the least of her concerns and, like a beast with a vision red, the hybrid woman’s body was alit with flames as she quickly closed the distance to pummel the Arcosian with an old fashion one-two punch in the face. “Anyone ever teach you to wait your turn?!” She declared. The knight’s hands would begin to waver as he kept up the enormous barrier. The golden aura would begin to crack slightly as Gallius contorted his face into pain. The effort was excruciating. As if all the power’s Manus had granted him were slowly draining like molten metal. Gallius had little else he could do aside from asking for Manus’ help. These men did not deserve death for the knight’s mistake. Manus parce mihi
Non sum dignus
Hi innocentes
Do ... punire eos non errore meum
The aura would begin to fade even more as Gallius continued his pleas to Manus. Manus placet, fac benigne!
Ne me manus cruore maculatur!
MANUS!
The barrier cracked even more as he shouted in utter desperation. His face would slowly contort to fury underneath his helmet. “Ye haf taken me home… Ye ROB me of me lyfe…” Slowly the barrier would begin to brighten, cracks slowly resealing. “Ye haf not saved me outa kyndness, ye simply wish to torture me!” The barrier would brighten even more, almost blindingly so. “TO HELL WIF YE!” He would shout as the barrier burst with a blinding light before fading completely away. The vacuum once more tore at the atmosphere within the ship. Gallius simply floated there, making no movements. The golden aura which had once surrounded his body from the cold reaches of space was utterly gone. Ice would begin to form across his mail armor and exposed flesh. As following her commander's orders, Kaiju found herself fleeing the scene of the action. If Kamui himself was going to deal with the Imperial dog, then the matter was already resolved, and her presence would only serve to cause the Changeling to hesitate, for he would automatically be weary to attack kill the Imperial, in fear that Kaiju would be caught in the splash damage. And the Makyan refused to be in the way. Thus, she decided to make herself useful and to release the emergency backup hatches throughout the ship. Red alarms were alerting the crew to several pressure leakages throughout the ship, hinting to the presence of a vacuum. The Lieutenant didn't need to be a genius to narrow it down to the Knight who took it upon himself to break on board, bursting through the hull. Not to mention that, but Kamui, in a moment of recklessness, took it upon himself to burst the emergency seal that solves the problem of leaks in the case of such a burst occurring. Normally, that would be it, but Kaiju had convinced the Captain to invest in secondary emergency seals, activated manually through a computer console, rather than automated. An annoying drawback, but it was better than letting the ship rip itself apart because some asshole took it upon themselves to raid the ship.
Halfway to the bridge, Kaiju stopped in her tracks.
Save the Knight.
Kaiju frowned as a voice popped up in her head. It was Kamui's voice, she recognized that much. The woman had had enough telepathic conversations with her boyfriend to recognize that voice. Thus, there was no confusion there. There was confusion with his order.
Save the knight? On the list of dumb shit that she had heard the nineteen year old Changeling say behind closed doors, this was pretty high on that list, along with when he had told her that story about him sneaking into his father's wine stash and drinking until he was absolutely wasted...at seven years old.
Save the Knight who broke the hull of the ship in the first place? Who initiated the attack? Even if he did seem to have a change of heart, that was no reason to spare him. If anything, it would be smarter to end his existence now, and be rid of him as a threat altogether. Then rid themselves of the troublesome Imperial and go on with their day until they reach a space port, in order to obtain the necessary repairs. But save the Knight for what?
First the child, now this? Kamui, you cannot be so soft with our enemies! If you weren't, we'd have a lot less to worry about all the time! She said telepathically back to her lover as she stormed onto the bridge, startling Commander Fritz, who immediately began asking what all the commotion was about. Ignoring the Brench man, Kaiju moved immediately for an empty console, and sat down, immediately pushing in commands.
He has saved us, and sacrificed his energy doing so. Please, dear.
Fuck him.
Leaving the console open, Kaiju shot off the bridge, giving up her sprint to just low altitude flying, racing down corridors, leaving soldiers stunned as she rocketed past them. Eventually, she reached the vacuum. The lighting around the giant hole dimming slightly. She had instructed Fritz before she raced off to simply press "Enter" on the console she left behind on her word. The code would be complete, and the secondary emergency seal would kick in.
Now, she just had to get Gallius. Unlike her boyfriend, Kaiju lacked the ability to breathe in a vacuum, thus she had to deal with what little oxygen was left in the nearby vicinity. And god forbid she was sucked out. If she was sucked out into space, she couldn't guarantee she could return alive. She probably wouldn't.
Centering herself spiritually, she would reach out with her mind, picking up Gallius's rapidly decreasing power level. She could sense the spiritual energy radiating from him, gradually fading away. She could hear his heartbeat....feel his body temperature, all in her mind's eye. Keeping her feet rooted, Kaiju closed his eyes and extended her hands outwards, her body slowly enveloped in a soft blue light. After a few moments, Gallius would find himself enveloped in that same blue light, although he was probably in such a state that he wouldn't be able to notice it.
Seizing control of him via Telekinesis Imprisonment, Kaiju slowly edged him closer towards the ship, using her psychic energy to serve as a tether of sorts, pulling the Knight to the ship. Given that she lacked eye contact with her quarry, and that distance negatively affected her abilities, such a feat was hard to accomplish, but the Makyan female hadn't failed Kamui yet, and had no intention of doing so. Slowly, but surely, Gallius was pulled inside, and then suddenly flew towards Kaiju, with the Lieutenant quickly outstretching her arms to catch the near frozen man
"Fritz, punch it!" She yelled through her scouter's wireless radio.
"Sir!" Fritz responded before punching "Enter" With a loud creak and crack, several metallic seals burst forth, sealing the hole, and thus closing the vacuum.
"Shit..." Kaiju sighed in relief, leaning against the wall with Gallius in her arms. Surprisingly enough, she seemed more than capable of carrying the man, armor and all.
"Now, to get you to Sawbones, motherfucker." Kaiju said, throwing the man into the air with one hand before stopping him in midair via Telekinesis, allowing him to float his way, with her in tow, to the Medical Bay and to their ship's doctor, Sawbones.

Meanwhile....
"Pathetic." Kamui exclaimed as Zerori approached, although to be honest he was lying. He found it quite impressive for a fighter of her power level to be capable of deflecting not just one of his blasts, but several in rapid succession. He almost felt tempted to praise her, but considered that an insult would prove much more effective in riling up an already susceptible Imperial Patrolwoman.
Like the phoenix from the ashes, the woman charged at him, the smoke from Kamui's Death Beam Barrage dissipating as she did so. In an instant, the woman's body lit ablaze, charged with superheated Ki. Kamui allowed his own purplish aura to flare in response as his body mass bulged out somewhat. As Zerori drew close, she went on the offensive, launching a savage melee attack upon him in the form of two flaming punches. For a moment, Kamui didn't respond to the attack, and to one who wasn't already familiar with the Pirate Captain, it seemed as if he didn't have the reactionary speed to react in time, giving the impression that he was bound to be hit.
The false impression that was.
His body a blur of movement, Kamui spread his feet shoulder width apart, and both of his hands, crossing them and catching both of Zerori's flaming punches, the Changeling's massive aura overwhelming and snuffing out the flames on her arms, so that it wouldn't burn the Changeling. It seemed that Kamui was getting even stronger as time went on.
"If you could not defeat Kaiju, this will not last very long. I am leagues stronger than Kaiju...and you are an insect by comparison. Cry and repent." Kamui spoke, his voice dull and monotone, before he went on the offensive.
In an instant, the Changeling was gone. One moment, he was there. The next, he was gone, a distortion of his body the only visage left behind, which was a result of Kamui's wickedly fast Rapid Movement.
"Behind you." A voice warned from behind Zerori.
If Zerori turned, she would find Kamui poised right behind her, his purplish aura dispelling back into a regular intense teal. Rearing his fight back, he would move to slug her across the face at a frightening speed.
Yet, at the last moment, he vanished once more. The attack was a feint!
Appearing to Zerori's right flank, Kamui would rear his fist back and this time and execute a heavy punch to Zerori's gut at full speed and at near full strength. It was enough to break the bones of a weaker opponent! More than likely, Zerori was strong enough to avoid such a fate, but it was more than strong enough to punch a hole through her armor and to damage the woman nonetheless.
Not bothering to stay to allow Zerori time to recover, Kamui's body vanished from sight as quickly as it came, the speedy Changeling never in one place for too long. Appearing farther down the hall, the Changeling's arms extended, each finger on each hand held slightly apart. Leaving little time to chance, Kamui began charging bright red energy to his fingertips in a finger scatterbeam, little red orbs of energy forming at the end of each fingertip. In tandem, Kamui's aura sparked to life once more, teal colored light enveloping the Changeling as he prepared to fire. After a moment of harnessing energy, Kamui released his attack in a perfectly executed assault, ten piercing beams of energy, one from each finger, being sent on their way to crash into Zerori. Upon contact, the beams wouldn't explode. Instead, they were meant to burrow straight through an opponent, punching holes in them as if the beams themselves were bullets.
"Hmph."

With the force of a jet breaking the sound barrier, the resounding impact of their fists colliding – Kamui grasping her knuckles in a vice-like grip – the hybrid struggled to move her arms in a way to either break or weaken the hold he had on her. When her flames looked to have been little more than blown out like a candle, Zerori made a double-take before renewing her effort to escape. Ki-blind as she was, Zerori could only rely on her primal senses to taste the aura around him and every intake of the scent was sharper and more cutting than the last. He’s getting stronger! Damn it! At his words, Zerori bore her fangs in a feral, snapping back at him, “Listen buddy! I tried to tell you that all I needed was some PARTS!” She tried to pull away once more, skin prickling with fear at the realization that the grip wasn’t letting up, his words holding weight about his power. “If you’d have just-!” Suddenly, she was free and Zerori took the opportunity to thrust her elbow straight into his face. For a second, she felt as though it might have hit before the image that was there was completely see-through. B E H I N DLike a moth to the flame, Zerori turned to Kamui – wildly throwing her fist toward him in a jab. The fear she felt, compounded by the sudden change in her chance to escape this situation alive, had her losing what composure she had. When her fist went through an illusion once, her posture snapped like a string and she flinched. “What-OOF!” Before she knew what had hit her, all she could see were stars swarming her vision. Foolishly, she buckled – struggling to swivel and deliver another (albeit shaky) elbow toward where the attack from come. Unsurprisingly missing. Still struggling for air as her muscles cramped uncomfortably, she searched for the spicy scent before turning around completely. By that point, however… reaction time wasn’t a possibility. With the force of a gatling gun, beams pierced and exited through her body at different points. The force behind the beams knocked her clear off her feet to throw her back, landing in a heap on her back as the shock through her body rendered her immobile. Her body twitched from the pain, blood rushing up her esophagus to come out in a violent cough. All of her was just pain, pain, pain and staying awake was becoming increasingly difficult. Man, what… shitty luck. This really sucks. First, it was Eschelot and now this – thought this was SIGNIFICANTLY worse, than getting a lecture. As her vision faded in on the edges, losing consciousness, the hybrid held out the hope that this wasn’t the last breath she’d take. Words: 470 Andrew C. Creed BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Trivial.
Kamui found this matter a rather trivial inconvenience. But it was an inconvenience that very well endangered his crew, and had to be eliminated. Zerori was an Imperial Patroller. And a very violent one at that. Despite her true intentions, her actions spoke for her, and she ruthlessly engaged members of her crew, with intent of serious injury. Such an infraction was unacceptable, and unlike the Knight, this woman did not repent her actions, or attempt to correct them. No, instead she decided to insult Kamui by attempting to fight him further. Yet, she had learned. In two strikes, he had felled her.
And his crew had seen it.
"Whoa! I could barely track that! She just went down!" One mercenanry cried out.
"Way to go Captain!"
"Kill her Captain! You know what to do!"
Voices steadily grew louder as more soldiers bounded down the hallway, providing reinforcements to an issue that was no longer an issue. As they came closer, they began to realize the growing reality. That Kamui had already handled the threat, and the desire for the Imperial's death grew steadily. Walking forward, the rather imposing Changeling's large tail stretching outwards, wrapping around Zerori's neck, the unconscious Imperial being raised helplessly in the air before the man. Flexing his muscles, the grip he held over the woman only increased, into near strangulation, the Imperial's flow of oxygen being cut off rather suddenly. To be frank, all Kamui needed to do was to flex just a little more, and augment his body with Ki, and the woman would be gone. Neck snapped. Just like that. It was almost trivial. An easy feat. He had no reason to spare this woman, she had done nothing but wrong him, and Kamui was in the right. He could kill her, and be justified in doing so. But, something made him hesitate.
Emperor Cam could have just have easily killed him, and the situation on the Avarice was a similar situation, in which Cam and his men were justified in killing him. Why? Because Kamui was useful, and in the business world, owing someone was a fate worse than death.
Zerori had proven her potential, after all. Despite her inferior strength to Kamui, she had proven capable of going toe to toe with Kaiju, even though if he were to give the Makyan female a few more minutes, he was sure that Zerori would be in a worse state than the one she was in right now. Decapitation, perhaps? It had been a long time since his girlfriend had ripped someone's head off.
Loosening his grip on Zerori's neck, he would allow the Imperial a chance to breathe once more, and he began to walk with the battered, broken Saiyan/Demon hybrid, his tail keeping her body suspended in air, so she wouldn't be dragged.
Halfway to the Parasite Pod Deployment Deck, Kamui came face to face with an annoyed Kaiju, who had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot impatiently, the boot making quite the tapping sound against the waxed floor.
"So, is this one heading to medbay too? Or are we actually going to kill this one for what she did?" Kaiju asked, her tone showing intense annoyance, eliciting a sigh from the Changeling
"We're not healing her. Oh no, dear. She doesn't deserve that much."
Kaiju rolled her eyes,"And the other one did? Whatever, just kill him. Unless you want me to, my lord."
Kamui shook his head," No dear. We're gonna take a page from Emperor Carambolis' book. We're going to spare her...and use her later."
"You're going to spare an Imperial Patroller, who knows our faces and the interior of our ship? So she can report back to Emperor Polaris?"
"Polaris won't give a fuck whether I lived or died. He has bigger fish to fry. Let me know when he gets the Saiyan Dominion off his dick. But no, she doesn't seem to be like....other Imperial citizens. No, but I believe she'll understand the angle I'm coming from....when the time is right."
"Hmph. I'd much rather cover our bases and be done with this issue once and for all, but I can see your point, so very well. It's a better plan then your rehabilitation clinic you seem to have running the past few weeks." Kaiju said before walking further down the hallway, in the direction of the Parasite Pods.
"Find the oldest one in this line up. We don't have to give her the nice ones." He said. Kaiju nodded and in moments began to power up one of the older models of the Parasite Pods, the lights flickering on after a few moments. Kamui reached down and opened the hatch before charging his Ki, his body enveloped in a cloak of Ki within moments. With Zerori held by the neck, he began to funnel his own energy into her, acting as an emergency medicine to give the woman strength. It wouldn't necessarily heal the woman. Not by a long shot, but it would give the woman enough strength to survive the trip...and perhaps find help if she woke up and really persevered. His tail flicking forward, Kamui's grip on Zerori released as he tossed the Imperial inside the vessel and shut the hatch.
"Punch it."
Kaiju nodded and pressed the release button, allowing the thrusters of the pod to shoot to life before being ejected from the vessel, shooting straight out into wild space. To some unknown place. Where? No one knew, Kamui hadn't bothered to set the navigation codes. All he cared was that when it finally did run out of fuel and land somewhere, Zerori would be all on her own to recover. And when she finally did recover...
She would find a computer coded message typed into the navigation console.
You owe me for breathing. Captain Kamui, Crusher Corps. Have a nice life, I will call on you soon."
After the pod vanished in the distance, Kamui turned on his heel and made his way back to the bridge
"Back to work."
