An utterly monstrous amount of destruction followed. While Ala grabbed tightly onto one of the Vegeta Bots, putting them in an immobilizing choke, Thast, Tora and Khoshai all together banded against its ally. Though the Earthling's energy blasts failed to hit home, the machine moving across the air too quickly, it served as an adequate distraction for, first, Tora's blue slashes to strike its metallic frame, cleaving the torso open and revealing the overclocked machinery underneath, then, finally, Khoshai's finishing blow. A powerful slash of purple ki cut across the battlefield, splitting the Vegeta Bot into two exploding halves and rushing past them towards Alexis. The suspended blonde girl opened her eyes slightly more widely, but did not pay much attention to the blow - instantly upon reaching her bubble of frozen spacetime, it violently dispersed and vanished into the air. " What a bother..." The other Vegeta Bot was more lucky - as soon as it registered Majin Ala aiming to strike it with an Ill Flash, it slipped out from the woman's grip and retreated back, its body slowly rebuilding with the help of nanobots as it went. Now it was one against four, and the odds were not in the bot's favor - however - the term "surrender" was not programmed in its systems at all. Instead, the bot moved its hands forward, its modules seemingly believing that even if it cannot win here, than at least it can do as much damage to these tomb raiders as possible, and fired off a yet another, but considerably weaker synthetic Final Flash into the crowd. One machine was destroyed and Tora was surprised at the resilience of its' partner machine. Also at Alexis' ability to survive- for a moment Tora questioned her intentions. She was most definitely a criminal, and Tora wondered how assisting her would affect this world. The android prepared another attack, a beam of intense energy barreling towards the martial artist. He zanzokened away from the attack as it dissipated harmlessly against the katchin walls. It was time for a counterattack. "Khoshai, Ala... Kung -fu wannabe... let's do this! Together! Hit this guy hard with everything you'vegot and bring him down!" Tora no Seishin flared with strength as he eyed the survivor. The Tiger Style master's claws blossomed once more as he prepared the same technique as before. Then, as an ethereal flash of blue light he dissappeared, slashing across the mask of the robotic machine as he moved rapidly. They had no time to waste. They had to finish this as soon as possible. Tora sensed this situation could grow more dangerous, these robots and this magical field were truly the least of their worries. Tracker Attack missed! DMG: None! BA: Rapid Movement! Ala snapped back briefly from her frenzied trance, blinking as she heard Tora's voice. "Together..." She repeated his words, nodding to herself as she knew what she must do. When the surviving android unleashed his attack once more, the Majin dashed out of the way of the attack, landing at her fellow Majin's side. "Kho." She said simply, looking down at the boy and placing her hands over top of his. "Together. Like family..." With that Ala began to channel mass amounts of ki at the palms of her hands. The small sphere teamed with energy, crackling with pink lightning at it drew in more power. The whole tomb began to rumble, as the Majin's aura lashed and danced with unbridled energy. The ground at her feet cracked and buckled, as Ala fed more and more of her ki into the attack. This room's Majin, it could cripple her, but it couldn't stop her. Even better though, she could sense it wasn't effecting Khoshai nearly as badly. Ala would put her all into this attack, so her friend could finish the job himself. Even merely charging the combination attack was deadly, as waves of energy buffeted the remaining android. Pelting it with Majin ki and potent magics, the kind of an overwhelming nature. "Now!" Ala roared, as she finished charging the duo's attack. She pressed their hands forward, unleashing the devastating energy wave on her foe. This was nice, "Family" Thast hardly knew them all, but he could feel their bond. He had seen the passion with which they all fought, and the emotions behind their actions. This was more than just a team, they were bonded in a way Thast only wished he could be a part of. Sure he had met Khoshai in the past, but they were not really "family" levels of close. The kid seemed to bring the other two together though, he had an aura of hope, and aura of love. Thast would do nothing less then stand by them. "I might not be a part of your family Khoshai! But we are friends, and I wont allow us all to die in a tomb!" A strange aura would begin to flash around the earthling as his energy flared up. Various colors would begin to flash from him, Black, white, and even blue. His power was increasing rapidly, but would still be dwarfed by the likes of Majin Ala. He would nod as Ala had shouted "Now" and Tora commanded that they all attack! For just a moment, he fealt like he was a part of the family. "Lets end this! Yin Yang Kamehameha!" Thast would allow yet another destructive beam of energy to fly from his hands towards the robot. Hopefully it would be enough to give Khoshai another opportunity! "Khoshai, finish him!" So he managed to destroy one. They were making progress, but it just wasn't enough. As Khoshai lowered himself back to the ground, the remaining Vegeta Bot countered with yet another golden blast of energy, the considerable strength of the Final Flash cutting through the ground as it moved to connect with the group. However, Khoshai was ready. His eyes flashing bright once more, the child released yet another Invisible Eye Blast that collided violently with the Synthetic Final Flash, causing the latter to explode in a shower of golden sparks for the third time. As the boy rallied to release yet another vengeful attack, he felt Majin Ala's arms placed over his, and he looked up at her, shocked out of his near angry outburst. "Together. Like family..." Like family... She was right. These people...they were his family. Majin Ala and Tora were the closest thing he had to parents, and Thast was a really good friend that the boy had met while punching his face in. These people....were special to him, and he would do anything to protect them, to maintain the love and security that he constantly felt surrounded by. These evil bots...he wouldn't let them ruin what he had. If they were gonna fight and get through this, they were gonna do it together. "Family....forever." Khoshai whispered as he drew his hands back. His aura flared once more, more potent than it had been before, even at the height of his angered frenzy. Then, it dimmed down. Instead of being a forceful aura that encompassed him like a very large blanket, a shimmering, fuchsia colored, sparkling aura clung tightly to outline his body. The orb of fuchsia energy that gathered in his hand gradually got larger, electricity clinging to the orb. "Now!" Was all the boy needed to hear. Thrusting his palms forward, the boy let out a loud, shrill scream as he unleashed a rather powerful burst of energy towards the Vegeta Bot, intent to wipe it from the face of the tomb. Together, they were all a family. And no pale imitation of a legend was gonna tear this family apart. Post Count: 9 | @amatricina | Tora | Thast Rowens | Legume BATTLE TRACKER

It was rather heartwarming to watch this odd "family" get together and show the raw, unbridled power which their friendship was able to manifest. Tora's claw slash brushed across the face mask of the Vegeta Bot, breaking it apart in several places and leaving its single eye malfunctioning. The robot stumbled on the floor for a few seconds, its sensors panicking at the stream of information suddenly being cut, before an utterly monstrous amount of ki energy, coming from three directions, slammed straight into it. Lacking energy for any sort of counters to the tidal wave, the machine could only hope that its chassis was strong enough to endure it. It was not. The Vegeta Bot's frame was fried in the combined trio of energy beams, its metallic case broken apart into several pieces and pushed along by the powerful blow, before finally slammed full force into one of the Katchin walls of the room, where it met its final fate at last. Once the triple energy beam faded, the room suddenly went quiet. No more bots popped out of the floor and no more traps seemed to be activated. Perhaps the designers of the tomb believed that the two bots would be enough to take out any invader - and seeing how much they made this team of powerful martial artists sweat, perhaps they were right to think so. Alexis's protective shield vanished and the blonde girl touched down on the floor of the room, the torch in her hand once again illuminating the area - however, she handed the torch away to one of her dolls and promptly ran towards the team, at which point she instantly pulled in the two Majins in for a wide hug. " We did it!" Alexis exclaimed and stepped back, giving both Thast and Tora, neither one of which seemed as huggable, a thumbs-up, one with each hand. While one of her dolls carried the torch, the other floated up to Khoshai, giving the Majin child a friendly smoochie on the cheek. " I ain't yer family either, but I gotta say, that was amazin'! Gosh, and I was a lil scared for a second, too!.." Alexis rubbed the back of her head during the last sentence, then cracked a smile and waved towards the rest of her team. " C'mon, we gotta go! Ya whipped up some serious noise over 'ere, someone's gunna be catchin' wind of us soon if ya keep doin' that!" Walking up to the double door which she had unfortunately touched and thus activated the trap, Alexis sent a kick straight down the middle, the door cracking open and spreading apart, letting them through. As soon as one were to step out of the room, they would instantly feel their ki flow return to normal. The effects of the Trick Room no longer reached anyone beyond its limits. The corridors after the Trick Room were littered with busted laser turrets and saws, broken spikes and cracked walls. Alexis could only guess that these corridors were supposed to be littered with traps, but the sheer force of the battle shaking the whole tomb destroyed all the antiquated, rusted machinery before they were even able to set their foot there. The blonde girl gracefully leapt over each destroyed machine, watching out for where she steps her foot, until the gang finally reached a yet another tall, massive and encrusted door, similar to the front door of the tomb, which indicated better than anything that something important must be on the other side. " I think this might be it..." Alexis muttered, looking over the double door. There seemed to be no lock to pick... or was there? In the middle of the gate, a robotic arm stretched out forward, its elbow placed on a table, which was bolted to the floor below. Alexis tapped on her chin for a few seconds and muttered underneath her breath: " If I know how Saiyans work, then that's gotta be the lock to the door..." As soon as the girl turned towards her team, her voice immediately livened up. " Aaalrighty, folks! Which one of ya has the most arm-bustin' strength?" They made their way deeper into the tomb after disposing of the second robot, Tora's eyes narrowed. He felt the effects of the magical room dissipate as they moved forward, but Tora no Seishin couldn't shake the feeling things were still not over with. The doll lady had congratulated them and been particularly kind to Khoshai- Tora found it manipulative. Clearly this lady had no regard for their safety if she dragged them along into this trouble in the first place. "Kho, stay close to me..." he said, wary of the girl. They made their way into a room with a massive set of doors, and a strange mechanical construct. It looked like an arm wrestling machine. Part of Tora got excited-- he loved arm wrestling. On Earth he had been involved in many different arm wrestling competitions in his youth to make a quick zenni. It was a good hustle. But Tora no Seishin wasn't sure if he could handle this. The doll lady challenged him, so Tora felt as though he had no choice. Settling down at the table, Tora eyed the machine. How strong was it? Guaging its strength by locking hands with it and applying pressure, Tora was genuinely frightened. It was insanelt strong. Tora wasn't sure if he would be able to do this. But he had to try. His giant aura roared to life around him as the huge ethereal tiger formed folly around Tora, the pair pressing down onto the arm with all their force. Tora looked like he was gonna blow a gasket with how hard he pushed! Damn, this was embarassing. How was he struggling so much? Saiyans were always so... Over the top. Tracker ARM WRESSSTLING! Majin Ala smiled as she watched their combined Majin Kamehameha decimate the remaining android. It had been overkill of the highest magnitude, but temperamental Majins knew little of the word digression. All the dust cleared Ala looked down at her adoptive little brother, ruffling a hand through his hair as she smiled warmly. "You did good Kho." Ala told him softly, before Alexis ran up to embrace the two in a tight hug. Ala was slightly taken back, usually she was the one doing the hugging. None the less, the Majin wrapped her wraps, and tail lovingly around her two friends as they embraced. "You didn't need to be scared Alexis." Ala added softly as the three held each other. "If things get really scary I'd just blow up the planet." The nonchalance of this declaration was slightly unsettling, but to Ala it made complete sense. She'd just regenerate in the depths of space, her theoretical foe obliterated alongside the planet. As their hug ceased, Ala pulled herself free of her friends. Her expression grew more serious once more, as she stopped her across the room to the wreckage of the slain androids. "I didn't forget about you." She declared to their lifeless shells, raising a hand as she charged an energy blast at her fingertips. Ala growled slightly, still filled with disdain at the machines and the magic of this room. "I said now you die!" She informed the hulks, before blasting them further with a point blank energy wave until nothing was left. Despite the battle being over, Ala's power level had not diminished. She was still emotionally charged, venting enormous amounts of ki in her anger. The blast was blinding, and when it finally cleared nothing was left of the androids. Not even scrap or debris, their entire bodies vaporized by the Majin's wrath. "Hmph." Ala said simply as she turned up her nose. "Stupid robots..." The Majin grumbled, turning to return to the group. The hallways beyond were filled with all manner of derelict traps and defunct obstacles. Ala kicked some aside, too lazy to step over them as carefully as Alexis did. "This treasure better be good." Ala spoke to know one in particular, suddenly remembering the entire purpose of their endeavor in the first place. She side eyed Tora as the group walked along, sensing his suspicion in more than just his words. "Tora don't be mean." Ala added innocently, playfully smacking the warrior on the back with her tail. "Kho's fine, he's got me to protect him." The Majin didn't want any contention in the group, and was happy to play mediator. Moreover, she didn't much see the issue with things. Battle was fun, and Ala feared nothing. So that tended to color her judgement of things heavily. Majin Ala was particularly perplexed by the robotic arm on the door. Alexis' explanation only added to the confusion. "It's a strength test? That's silly." She knew she was the strongest, she didn't need an arm to tell her that. However, Tora stepped up to the plate to take first crack at the machine. Ala gave him space, silently annoyed she didn't get to try first. "Oh, you're doing it Tora? Ok then." Ala informed him, as she stretched her arms and arched her back. The Majin suddenly tensed her muscles, once more splitting in two equal halves with her Majin Fission technique. Ala and Ka smiled at each other, resuming their aerobic stretches. She was quite sore from the battle after all, the room's magic had effected her more strongly than the rest. Without saying a word, small bloblettes of goo began to fall off the two Majins' backs, hitting the ground before forming. Small being a relative term, as the blobs each weighed over a hundred pounds and were near the size of Khoshai. They quickly began forming into a dozen smaller Majin. These new ones did not look entirely like Ala did. They sported shorter cut, wilder pink hair and had a younger look and lithe build compared to the older and more voluptuous Ala & Ka. Their outfit was similar, sporting the same poofy white pants and gold and black belt, but they wore a rather revealing black jacket, orange gloves, and a long purple cape. These new, Miniature Majins inspected each other for a moment, before excitedly announcing themselves. "Majin Zam!" They cried out in unison, high fiving each other and jumping with glee. The squadron of Zams ran over to Tora, acting as a cheerleading squad while he grappled with the arm wrestling robot. "Zam Zam Zam!" Their eyes lit up with childlike wonderment as Tora summoned his enormous tiger spirit around his aura. "Zaaaaam..." They sung in amazement, literally incapable of saying anything beyond their own names. Nonetheless, the Zams were there to cheer on their companions. Meanwhile, Ala and Ka simply sat down and slumped against each other's backs on the floor. The two Majin doppelgangers fell asleep without saying so much as a word, taking a nap right there on the floor next each other. Ala and Ka could be immediately heard snoring softly, though even when sleeping their power levels had not diminished in the least. Truly, she was a peculiar one. If the others tried to rouse her, neither half of the Majin would wake. Though a snot bubble did form at her nose and the two could be heard murmuring softly to themselves about candy in their sleep. Thast would let out a slight sigh of relief as the killer robots would be dismantled by a quick flash of the group's combined power. This was great, they had finally defeated the robots, little did they know the next challenge that would await them. The earthling would crank his neck and begin to stretch, he would pay no mind to Ala's talk of her world destroying power. He was far too distracted by his insane amount of exhaustion from the enormous amount of energy blasts he had just been firing off. Without thinking too much, he would simply follow the group into the next room where various traps had gone off. It seemed the rumblings of their epic battle had set them all off prematurely. He would give a gentle smile, "Well, looks like this is going to be easy..."In the room thereafter, Thast would take a close look at the mechanical arm. It looked as though it needed to be beaten in a wrestle, it was a simple puzzle. "Hmmm... Hey Ala would you--" Thast would suddenly realize that Ala had gone to sleep... Just like that. Just when they needed her. Tora would be the first to try, but it looked as though he was having a hard time. Stroking his chin, Thast knew he would not be able to move the arm if Tora couldn't. Perhaps Khoshai would be able to move it though. Nudging the young majin, Thast would suggest "Kho, I think you should give it a shot. Tora looks like he could use the help." BATTLE TRACKER SUMMARY

Finally, the threat had passed
Yeah, perhaps the family energy blast attack was a bit over the top, and did the job of eliminating the pesky Vegetabots a bit too well. But did Khoshai care? Not exactly. The Vegeta Bots were evil, and were trying to hurt him and his family, so he killed them first. Was that a frightening mentality for an elementary aged child to have? Yes, but again, exactly who was judging. The adults in this operation weren't exactly stressed about corrupting a child's view on life, for if they were, they wouldn't be letting him blast droids into particles.
Anyway, back to regular scheduled programming.
The praise and good vibes presented in the aftermath of the destruction was what brought Khoshai back completely from the violent zone that he had entered when the battle started. Feeling Ala's fingers course through his white hair, the child looked up at Ala and giggled, before hugging her.
"Glad you're okay, big sister!" Khoshai grinned, looking up on her, seconds before he was pounced upon Alexis, and pulled into a big hug. Unlike Tora, the child was much to innocent to be suspicious of the Treasure Hunter, and accepted her hug graciously, his tail wrapping around the woman, along with his arms. As they detached, Khoshai giggled as he felt the doll kiss his cheek
After Ala's vengeful destruction of the remains of the Androids, the likes of which the child had little to no problem with, they continued down the path with the rest of the group, at which point Tora instructed Khoshai to stay close to him. Just as the boy instinctively moved to walk close to Tora, Ala countered by saying he was going to be fine, prompting the boy to look between the two, conflicted on who to stay nears. The child's expression brightened, before taking Ala's hand to bringing her closer to Tora, and then taking Tora's hand, so they were both walking near each other, with Khoshai holding the hands of each in the middle.
And before long they had stopped before what seemed like...an arm? A robotic arm, no less. Khoshai cocked his head curiously at it as Tora sat down at the table, and gripped the arm. Try as he did, he simply could not force the hand down, and found himself struggling instead. Arm Wrestling seemed fun...and Tora was really strong....he wanted to try.
As Thast suggested he try, the boy ran forward, eagerly climbing into Tora's lap, not even giving his caretaker a chance to move for Khoshai to sit down. Once situated, Khoshai looked back at Tora and smiled sheepishly," I wanna try..." And with that he reached forward, and gripped the hand, and flexed.
Nothing moved. Khoshai tried a bit harder, but nothing happened. Grimacing, Khoshai's aura sprung to life, the child pouring a great deal of power to force the arm down. He didn't like losing games....in fact, it was pet peeve of his. He was a sore loser by spirit, an aspect of the boy's behavior that had not yet been corrected by his caretaker. As he tried to force the arm down, he began pouring more and more power out.
He wasn't gonna let this thing beat him!Post Count: 10 | @amatricina | Tora | Thast Rowens | Legume BATTLE TRACKER

Who could have thought that when the team managed to escape a bar brawl, open a locked door by pissing on the finger print scanner, defeat a duo of powerful androids while under disadvantaged conditions, the thing which put a stop to their adventure was... an arm wrestling match. It was just an arm! Created by people hundreds of years ago! How hard could it be to deal with?! The first of their team to sit down in front of the table and challenge the arm in a match was Tora. The Earthling martial artist activated a powerful aura around his body and the expression on his face screamed that of endless frustration and difficulty. Clones popped out of Ala's gummy body cheered for him, even though the Majin herself promptly went to sleep. What, was she so convinced in Tora's strength that she assumed the martial artist will unlock the door for them? Well, he didn't. After about a minute of struggling and desperate attempts to reverse the tide, the robotic arm finally slammed its adversary down to the table, an audible *CRACK* echoing across the empty halls of the tomb. As soon as Tora pulled back, Thast encouraged the other Majin by their side, Khoshai, to try his hand at the strength test. Unfortunately, the alien child didn't seem to do much better, and the same story unfolded as with his master - his resistance lasted for about a minute before the robot finally won the match, slamming the Majin's arm to the table and forcing him to retreat. Thast didn't seem willing to try the challenge, and since he was weaker than either Tora or Khoshai, it was unlikely that he would be able to make much of a difference anyway. Ala and her clone Ka were sleeping, murmuring something about candy and treats, and no matter how much Alexis would poke the Majin in the elbow to wake up and open the door, she just wouldn't budge. The blonde girl stood up and let out a long sigh. " Oh dear, oh dear... I didn't figure this would be so much of a struggle..." What was this arm made for, Super Saiyan Gods? Either that, or her team got more tired out by the fight before than she initially anticipated... Alexis tapped her finger on her chin, thinking for a few seconds on how she should approach this, before finally speaking again: " Fine, I'll try it myself." When a powerful, muscular martial artist and a talented young Majin both failed to even make the arm budge, how could this small blonde girl, standing barely above five feet and certainly being the most scrawny person in the entire group, hope to pull through? Hell, the sheer force of the arm might break her in half! If there were concerns among her teammates, however, Alexis would ignore all of them without saying a single word and finally stop in front of the robotic arm, grabbing its palm with a tight grip and placing her elbow on the table below. The struggle began. Instead of pushing at its adversary with full force, Alexis's arm remained in place, while the blonde girl started muttering in an unknown language underneath her breath. The standstill remained for a few seconds, before, suddenly, Alexis started to push. Shockingly, despite all of the force it had displayed against Tora and Khoshai earlier, the robotic arm was placed on the metaphorical back foot, slowly pushed into its side of the table before the blonde girl finally smashed it straight into the table and pulled back. Phew... That was... a bit harder than I thought.Alexis made a few steps back, while the table split in half and descended to the floor, the defeated robotic arm started spinning in a counter clockwise direction, and, finally, the massive double door finally started to open. What unveiled before the team's eyes made up for all the struggles they just went through. The resting place of Prince Vegeta, a wide and beautifully decorated burial chamber, dozens of meters wide. Custom made paintings decorated the walls of the room, each one encrusted with enough gold and jewels to buy out a reasonably sized city, and each one depicting the Prince one way or another. Whether him in a battle against some of the greatest threats which the Universe has faced, him standing before the metaphorical camera like a true leader, scenes of the colonization of Universe 7 by Saiyans from its twin universe, or him standing before the fellow Saiyan known as Son Goku right before their first battle - all of them would surely fetch many, many Zeni in the market. Several chests lined up the walls, each one filled to the brim with gold, jewels, and various valuables which the Saiyans who built the tomb were able to fetch. Two sets of gilded and encrusted Battle Armor stood either side to the stairs leading to the end of the room - both were still in pristine condition and perfectly usable, their quality was guaranteed by Capsule Corp engineers, though it might not be worth it to wear such a beautiful looking set in battle. And finally, at the back of the room, past the two sets of armor, elevated from the rest of the room, stood a heavy sarcophagus with the remains of the long dead Prince of the Saiyans held inside. Much like the rest of the room, this corner was also beautifully gilded, encrusted and rendered. Though the room was a bit of a mess thanks to the passing time, it didn't seem like it was touched by anything alive for centuries. All the valuables, jewels and gold across the room were still intact and awaiting for someone to pilfer them. And spend them to never need to work for money again... I figured that there was something about this room which prevented me from just teleporting inside. That door lock must have held a some sort of magic seal to keep intruders away...As soon as the door to the burial chamber opened, Alexis immediately ran forward, and while her dolls looked over the chamber in awe of the beauty and wealth of it all, the blonde girl herself ignored it as she went. Leaping up the stairs in a single stroke, she stopped next to Vegeta's sarcophagus and pushed its lid to the side. Much as she had expected, the only thing inside was a skeleton in a set of Battle Armor and a black jumpsuit underneath. Even legendary warriors powerful enough to challenge Gods of Destruction are not immune to the onslaught of time. No matter, she's worked with worse. A faint, wicked smile formed on Alexis's features as she looked over the corpse, and her hands reached for a set of jewels on top of the sarcophagus to give the illusion that she was only standing here to pilfer treasure. I'll see you soon. Give me a few minutes.Alexis pushed the lid of the sarcophagus back in its place - however, she left a small gap and reached out her hand to touch Vegeta's skeleton's palm, muttering underneath her breath: " Kai-Kai." As soon as Alexis turned around, her demeanor changed instantly. The two floating dolls of hers were already stuffing their small backpacks with jewels, and their master immediately joined them, taking one of the massive paintings off the wall, larger than her, and creating a portal next to herself to shove the entire thing into. " Aaaall riighty, we've had a few hurdles here and there, but this has been amazin'!" the blonde girl exclaimed towards her team with excitement. " Sooo~ If ya don't mind me askin', whatcha gonna be buyin' with all this treasure once we get outta here?" (1302 words, total 8713) Doctor Kaijin Vex Thast Rowens Tora @amatricina

Majin Ala awoke to the sound of Alexis slamming the robotic arm down on the table. "Huh you won?" She murmured groggily, as the Majin and her doppelganger rubbed the sleep from their eyes. "Zam zam, Zam zam Zam. Zam... ZAM!" The Majin Zam posse informed her, recanting their tale of how neither Tora nor Kho could best the robot arm. Ala and Ka just nodded along as they listened to their miniature counterparts as the duo rose to their feet. A good stretch and a few moments to brush the dust from their pants and the two were good to go. Ala exhaled sharply, looking to where the table had been, then back to Alexis. "Good job Alexis. You must be a lot stronger than I thought." Though her words were cheery, for once this was a facade. Ala had seen how strong Khoshai was when they'd play fight, and she could sense the power levels of her Earthling friends easily. But Alexis was like the androids, she radiated no ki. The Majin woman had no way to gauge her strength, something that now unsettled her if Alexis could perform feats even Kho could not. "I wanted to try to beat it too... I just needed a rest." Ala and Ka admitted sullenly, as a Zam kicked at the air where the table had once been. Ala whistled as the party entered Vegeta's burial chambers. The Majin posse split off to inspect assorted painting of the slain prince. "Saiyans sure like to show off." Ala commented, admiring a painting of Vegeta first ascending to Super Saiyan. "I wish I could have fought him. I was too little back then and nobody wanted me..." Ka chimed in, looking solemnly at an image of Majin Vegeta giving his life as he attempted to stop Buu. More imagery of her estranged parent was not helping to lighten to mood. As Ala and Ka spoke, the Zams silently kept watch tabs on Alexis. Their thoughts communally linked, relayed back to their more dominant halves as they observed from a distance. "Alexis..." Ala stated sternly as she turned to shout up towards the top of the stairs. "You shouldn't take from the dead. There's lots of gems and stuff here. We don't need to take it all." Ka's gaze remained locked on the scenes of Vegeta and Buu, and she began to talk aloud to herself. "These paintings are so pretty. It's sad they've been hidden away here for so long. Maybe we should give some to the Saiyans... so they can enjoy them too." The word she was looking for was museum, not that Ala had ever actually been to one. Still, even a centuries old Majin could see beautiful artwork was being wasted sitting in a musty old tomb. The Zams began piling up gemstones in a heap, Ala preferred them to gold and silver since they were shiny and had pretty colors. "Hmm... What am I gonna buy when we get out?" She questioned aloud as Alexis asked. Ala, Ka, and the Zams placed their fingers to their chins as they silently mused among themselves for a moment. Though her mind was split across numerous bodies, it still continued to function as effectively one entity. Not that Ala would ever be able to explain it in depth. It came naturally to her, and all of her kind. "Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... OH I know!" She said with a snap, before turning to high five Majin Ka. "I'll buy Tora a new Dojo. His is all broken and run down. Then I'll buy Kho a space ship, so he doesn't have to Vice Shout to travel around. Maybe I'll buy a space ship too. Hmm... A big space ship, like a really big one. That's pink, and smooth/ Then a bunch of candy. Yah." Ala's daydreaming quickly turned to salivation, and she eyed the large ruby in her hands envisioning how much chocolate it could buy. Hopefully a ton, and that measurement was not metaphorical in the least. Post Count: 11 | Doctor Kaijin Vex | Tora | Thast Rowens | Legume

As Tora gripped the weight of his failure completely, despite his best efforts looked strained. Then his companions either failed, or fell asleep. Kung-fu wannabe didn't even try! Until the Doll Lady- Alexis, was it?
Until she somehow opened the door. Tora, like a fool had his back turned at that moment, his eye caught on the kid majin after his failure. He was worried about his reaction.
The majin girl, Ala had chosen unconsciousness.
Khoshai had... well, let's just say Tora's secret technique up until recently had been to just throw Khoshai in the mix. Also recently? Khoshai had proven his power unstable, as unstable as his temper and his restraint. Still, Tora had faith in the boy. He held complete and utter resolve in his belief- no, his dream to ensure Khoshai's future as a heroic figure in the history of the universe.
The whole of him believed the kid could change everything and really make things better.
Just... His power made him so vulnerable. And if Tora even made a slight error-- as he did today-- he would not only put innocent lives in danger, he would jeopardize Khoshai's future.
Tora relayed his thoughts to the boys' guardian spirit, Gaido. The tiger spirit growled at him and fell silent. Had he become disillusioned with Tora's decisions?
Tora himself had. That was why questions of treasure were not on his mind.
The Tiger Master realized that he himself was still young for the first time. Was it fair for him to guide Khoshai? And to use the kid's power?
No. He was a child. Children... need to be protected. And this one had never had a chance to live a normal life. It had been taken from him, much like it had from Tora no Seishin himself. Or at least the boy who had taken-- no, inherited the name.
Tora passed through troves of treasure, yet not a single gem sparkled to him. He felt sick to his stomach. Unfortunately it was not from the hangover, moreso from guilt. He had made a mistake.
He couldn't even accept it when Ala offered to repair his old dojo.
"I won't be accepting any monetary compensation for my crimes here today, and neither will Khoshai. Isn't that right, Kho? We don't steal, now do we? I made a mistake by letting us come here. Khoshai, what we did was wrong. Don't forget that. Let this be a valuable lesson."
Tora turned to Ala after and smiled at her in thanks.
"I don't want you to spend a penny on me! Buy yourself a nice meal and a nice, quiet place to live peacefully!" he encouraged, reminding himself of his own goal once again.
Tora had to be better. Khoshai's life was on the line, whether he realized it or not. The martial artist wanted the boy- no, his kid brother to live a better lifestyle where he was safe from his own lack of self control.

Though both Tora and Khoshai had tried to defeat the arm, it wouldn't budge much. If they couldn't get past it, then how would Thast have any chance? A few ideas would run through his head about possibly blasting through the door, but it was reinforced by katchin. This would be troublesome indeed. As his contemplation would continue, Alexis would step up and give it a try. Thast would chuckle, after Tora and Kho she didn't think she could actually manage to-- Smack! The blonde haired tomb raider had actually done it! It was the most peculiar thing he had seen in quite some time. Thast would clear his throat before suggesting, "Shall we go in?" He would then follow Alexis into the treasure room. This was it, the mother load.
Thast was impressed by the artistry of it all, really a sight to behold. This really interested him far more than the money, though he didn't mind it all that much. Alexis would snoop around a bit before asking the group about cuts. It was true that Thast had taken this on as a job, but he didn't really do it for the money. More to just boost his reputation in the Ravagers, and get some experience. And he had done those things so far. The tiger pajama drunken master would then bring up the morals of the situation. It wasn't right to rob the tomb. Thast hadn't really thought about that, but the man made a good point. Was this really right? "Well, I don't think I'll be taking a cut either. I'm just along for the adventure really. I've got plenty of money after all, between the Ravagers paying me and the favor earth's guardian owes me. Tora is right, it would be wrong to take something that belongs to this planet, and something quite precious at that."
Yin would begin to whisper into Thast ear frantically, "Thast! You and your friends have to leave quickly! I sense a presence is surrounding the tomb!" Thast would raise an eyebrow and say allowed, "Surrounding the tomb?"

Khoshai wasn't exactly the best behaved loser. At the least, he got upset and pouted, perhaps even the occasional shameless stomp in annoyance. At the most, he got really angry, and either had a full blown temper tantrum, or tried to murder someone, the latter really only coming out in extreme cases of duress...mostly when the other side tried to "kill him", as what happened in Lute's case.
Luckily, the tantrum of today fell within the "least category". After losing to the arm, Khoshai frowned and jumped off Tora's lap, upset that he had lost. Stomping his foot once, the child crossed his arms over his chest angrily.
"It's not fair....I couldn't even move it!" The boy protested, pouting as Alexis walked forward. Was she gonna try next? Khoshai couldn't sense her power, but maybe she was strong enough to do it? Despite Khoshai's anger and impatience, he couldn't help but look on curiously as Alexis grasped the metallic hands, and after a few hushed incantations were spoken into existence, beat the damned thing. How? How did she do that? Alexis must be crazy strong! It managed to partially break Khoshai out of his funk, as he allowed a small smile to cross his face. He may have been a bad loser, but he was grateful when his friends managed to succeed at something, and the innocently naive child considered the Treasure Hunter his friend at this point, for the kindness she showed him up until this point.
"You did it Alexis! I couldn't though..." He said, before following along, skipping along the path as he followed Alexis. All the while unaware of the mental debate Tora was having with himself, and how profoundly it would change the boy's life in the future.
As he passed by gold and riches galore, the child was captivated by the gleaming sea of golden, the shiny sets of armor that adorned the walls caught the child's attention, and he found himself wanting to get closer, but afraid to touch, just in case some more scary robots came out like they did in that other room. Luckily, he was so distracted by the wonder of the artifacts and all the riches, that he didn't even notice Alexis's approach towards Vegeta's sarcophagus, and by extension, didn't even notice the teleportation technique she used once she reached it. The only thing able to snap him out of his stupor, was his big brother's voice.
That was enough to prompt a reaction out of the child, who was looking forward to taking a few shiny things to take back home. Even if he had no intention to sell it, just looking at it, and maybe playing with a few gold things would brighten up his home life while he was grounded.
"What? B-But I wanna...." Khoshai began to protest, before seeing the look in Tora's eyes. Khoshai did not forget that they were both here because he chose to disobey Tora and go without permission, nor did he forget that he was only in for more trouble once they got home. The boy could only hope he wasn't grounded for longer because of this.
"....Okay....I just wanna go home..." Khoshai said, walking over and hugging Tora. Maybe if he acted extra cute and sucked up to the bigger martial artist a little bit...maybe he wouldn't be so mad?

At first, the Saiyan Royal Guard couldn't believe that they were dealing with something as bold as an attack on the sacred tomb of Prince Vegeta, and upon being informed by law enforcement about a request for reinforcement, they did not even answer. Soon, however, more and more information started to flood in. Some civilians in the town surrounding Four Roses informed the police about some suspicious individuals with high power levels heading to the jungle in the direction of Prince Vegeta's tomb, the guards of the tomb alarmed the higher ups that someone had just busted the front door of the ancient facility, and the sounds of something battling down below, with enough ferocity that the entire tomb and the ground surrounding it started to shake, finally sealed the deal. A Royal Guard mission was approved to the Eastern Hemisphere, and less than half an hour later, the first rapid-reaction spaceships carrying hardened Saiyan warriors touched down in front of Prince Vegeta's tomb. The first among them was a Saiyan with spiky hair, a complexion somewhat resembling that of the legendary Super Saiyan, and a constant scowl on his face. General Cumber, the commander of the 1st Saiyan Royal Guard Division. After Cumber returned with grim news from the South, losing an entire Dominion squadron to an organization of pirates and vagabonds who would later form the Crusher Corps, and was thus forced to retire as a result, it seemed unlikely that he would ever have a career in the army of the Dominion ever again. However, the Saiyan-Imperial War required all the manpower which the Saiyans could possibly muster, and as such, Cumber was brought out of retirement once again, his innate talent in battle and incredible raw strength showing yet again and allowing him to cut through the Dominion's ranking system like a hot knife through butter. And now, he stood as the commander of the Saiyan Royal Guard, staring into the gaping hole which had once been the entrance to Prince Vegeta's tomb. Initial scouter scanning revealed the presence of four individuals, some fairly average, others incredibly powerful, within the depths of the building - however, Cumber was confident that this was nothing to worry about. " Surround the Tomb from all sides. If they are inside, then they'll have to crawl out of their holes sooner or later. Keep full combat readiness at all times." Over a hundred elite trained Saiyans dispersed across the jungle surrounding the tomb, a small contingent alongside Cumber standing in front of the main entrance, while many others kept tabs of all four sides of the facility. Now, it was only a waiting game before the unfortunate robbers inside dragged themselves out and realized that they have been busted... " Oh dear, well, ya caught me red handed, miss!" Alexis cheerfully explained herself upon Ala requesting her to not take from the dead, and continued shoving a couple more paintings down her summoned portal. Both of her dolls poured the jewels and gold pieces they collected down the same hole, too. " He ain't gonna need any of it, though, so is it really all that bad? He can't get resurrected with the Dragon Balls or nothin' at this point, and nobody else is going to take any of this stuff, sooo~" Oddly, her team didn't seem enthused with the prospect of filling their pockets with hard earned cash. Ala picked up plenty of gems and jewels, sure, but she also asserted that some of the paintings here should belong to a museum. Her teammates were even less enthusiastic - Tora declared that he is not going to take any payment for something illegal and Thast seconded him, while the martial artist even forced Khoshai to comply, as dissatisfied as the young Majin was. Alexis didn't have much of a stake in the whole discussion - she was here for her own needs, not someone else's - but struck a frown in her face regardless. " C'moooon, why you gotta be such a frowny face, turn it upside down! Are we really stealin' from anyone over here? This stuff has been nobody's for ages!" the blonde girl exclaimed, throwing her arm around Tora and snickering, then turned her eyes towards Khoshai. " Don't ya worry, kiddo, I'll portal-send ya a few rubies once we get outta here! Ya gonna be able to get yerself the biggest sundae in the world with 'em!" As soon as Alexis pulled back from Tora, however, Thast brought grim news. The Earthling, having communicated with someone inside his mind, suddenly spoke aloud about someone surrounding the tomb. " Surroundin' the tomb?" Alexis repeated Thast's statement, blinking a few times from surprise and then starting to stroll across the burial chamber. Indeed... there was a swarm of energy signatures collected above them in a loose ring formation. Somehow, the Saiyans must have caught wind of their actions. " Well would ya look at that? You're in a bit of a pickle, ar'nt ya? All those powerful Saiyans surrounding the entrance of the tomb over 'dere... Kiris! Angie!" Alexis's two dolls, called out by their names, suddenly dropped everything which they had been holding and floated towards their master, diving into her bag one after the other. Well then... She's acquired what she wanted, it's about time to depart, isn't it? Especially since the magic lock which prevented her from teleporting in and out was no longer active... " Mind if I say a few things?" Alexis suddenly spoke, glancing to her team over her shoulder, the country accent she had put on completely gone from her speech. " As difficult as it was to get you to work the way I needed... this has honestly been kind of amusing. Chaotic, for sure - that always brings joy to my heart. And I managed to get my hands exactly on what I wanted, too, so how could I call this adventure anything but a success? Cooperating with willing mortals is a new thing to me, but... it wasn't as much of a trainwreck as I expected. Perhaps we could meet again? But definitely not on the same footing..." Alexis offered a final wave towards her "team" and exclaimed: " Ciao! Kai-Kai!" In a single flash, the blonde girl vanished, only a lingering echo of a sinister cackle remaining as a reminder of her presence. Thast would watch as Alexis blatantly Ignored the warning of Tora, and simply filled her pockets with paintings and gold. Thast would take somewhat of a long look at himself and ask, "Is this really who I am?" he would shake his head. The events that had happened tonight were mostly his fault! He had arranged the meeting to rob the tomb, convinced a drunken Tora to come along, and even destroyed a local bar! This was not right. This wasn't who he was, maybe the whole "Ravagers life-style" wasn't right in every situation. This would certainly be one of those situations. Thast would begin to suppress his power level, and try to mask himself to the best of his ability. They needed to escape the tomb, but from what Yin had told him, there would be guards waiting. What the really needed was some kind of teleportation device, if only the Ravager's Big Gete Star was closer. He could easily teleport off world with that. There were other methods of travel though, one he had overheard Ala and Khoshai talking about earlier. That vice shout thing just might be able to get the lot of them out of there! It would be worth suggesting at least. Thast would begin to explain the situation, "Alright this isn't good. I've just been informed that the tomb has been surrounded by a large amount of power levels. This is more than likely the saiyan guard, with an army at their backs. Khoshai, Ala. Do you two think you could do that 'Vice Shout' thing to get us out of here before we're all arrested? I'll buy us all Ice Cream!" Thast had hoped the promise of Ice cream would work. At least on Khoshai... Moments later, Alexis would drop her strange accent and leave the group high and dry. Now Thast was really hoping his escape plan would work...

Majin Ala was irritated that Alexis continued to ignore her request, in spite of the fact there was plenty of treasure to loot. The Majin didn't much like the idea of taking directly from a corpse, whereas Alexis seemed to have no quarrels with rummaging through Vegeta's sarcophagus. Her tail flicked with agitation, before coiling around a clutch of rubies. Her Majin Zams held armfuls of precious gemstones and Majin Ka held a large painting depicting Majin Buu in her arms. The latter was more out of sentimental value than anything, Ala had no intention to part with it anytime soon. Already peeved, Ala was especially annoyed that Tora rejected her generosity, and forbade Kho from accepting it either. "I already have a quiet place to live, it's by your island. And I don't wanna live peacefully. I like fighting, I like battle. Peace is boring, killing is more fun." Ala's Majin tendencies were shining through, in spite of her attempts to be a good role model for Kho. She huffed loudly, and vented steam from her shoulders in a quick burst. She didn't like being torn between Tora's strong morals and her own selfishness. The latter was winning out, and the Majin and her clones made no attempt to put back any of their pilfered treasures. Though they didn't continue stockpiling more either. Ala's attention quickly changed as Thast informed them of what he sensed. "Saiyans." Ala muttered aloud, sensing the lot of them. "Tough ones too. Probably Super Saiyans..." She added quickly, she'd been too preoccupied with her companions to notice them before. Normally, Ala was all for fighting, but she didn't want her friends put in harms way if she could avoid it. She could fight Saiyans later, when Kho was safe. For now there were far more pressing concerns. Ala's gaze turned back towards Alexis, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "What do you mean, 'you're'? I thought we were supposed to be a team. Treasure hunters. Friends. Why so selfish all the sudden?" Ala was one to talk, being seemingly the only member of the group willing to actually loot the tomb, but her point still stood in spite of her own hypocrisy. When Alexis vanished without a trace, it was enough to set off the powder keg that was Majin Ala. "She left us!" The Majin roared, clenching her hand so tight the ruby in her clutches shattered into fine dust. "...And she tricked me." Ka added, voicing the same displease. "Zam. Zam... ZAM!" The Majin Zams concluded, ever wise in their assessment. Alexis had simply used the group as a means to her own ends, and now intended for them to take the fall. Ala furrowed her brow, trying to sense their departed comrade. But alas, she could not, just as she couldn't even in her presence. "She's gone." Majin Ala stated dejectedly, no longer holding any desire to be here in this tomb. This damn tomb's magic was still influencing the Majin, those less drastically than before. Either way, her emotions were charged as Ala stamped her heeled boot on the ground. "She left us..." She growled again, clenching her teeth as anger overtook her. She turned to her friends, a look of wrath in her eyes. "We're leaving. I'm taking us home." She informed the group, before taking a wide stance besides her doppelganger. "When I see Alexis again, I'LL CRUSH HER!" Ala bellowed, loud enough it sent out a wave of sonic force. In her anger Majin Ala attempted to tear open a portal to the Lookout back on Earth. It wasn't exactly the ideal place to go, but the Guardian of Earth was easy for her to sense even across the depths of space. Super Buu had also opened a portal to this location eons ago, not that Ala specifically knew it, and thus the dimensional fabric was weaker there. Either way, she wanted to go home, nothing angered her more than being tricked. Post Count: 12 | Doctor Kaijin Vex | Tora | Thast Rowens | Legume Vice Shout: YjHJXBXXd100+40 FAILURE! d100+40

Majin Khoshai found himself lost in the development. Whoever...whatever Alexis was, she had just revealed her true colors before the group, having dumped the country accent, seconds before ditching them in the middle of the tomb. It was weird. Had Khoshai been a bit more observant, the boy would have noticed that Alexis didn't take nearly as much loot as she would have expected from a treasure hunter looking to score the greatest heist in what could possibly be Saiyan history. If she wanted the underworld fame and riches, she would've done more than have her dolls collect the trinkets. She would've stuffed her pockets, and perhaps pocket dimensions, to the brim, and wiped the place practically clean, especially upon finding out her allies had little to no intention of doing the same. But alas, a simple child was a simple child, and all Khoshai could glean from the sudden revelation was this. A. Ala was mad. B. Alexis sounded funny the entire time, but now she spoke normal. C. Alexis left without saying goodbye! D. Kho wanted to go home. It was way past his bedtime and he was getting sleepy now that the action was over. With such a list of realizations in mind, Khoshai realized that Choice D was the most important to focus on...with Choice A being of near to equal importance. "Don't be mad, Big Sister! I can get us home...it's okay!" Khoshai offered, running over to Ala and rubbing her back soothingly, before standing besides her. Was the boy talented in his use of the Dimensional Rift? Yeah, over short distances, most certainly. Had he improved his accuracy over long distance portal making than when he accidentally shipped himself across Konats? Yes. Was he by any means an expert at the craft of portal making without dimension collapsing? Absolutely fucking not. But at the same time, unless anyone else in the group was capable of any safer mode of transportation, then Khoshai and Ala were the best hope anyone had at a simple escape. Letting his Ki coalesce in the pit of his stomach, the boy felt the energy rising through his body and up his throat, like bile, as if the child was going to throw up. The heated energy expanded outwards in his chest as the boy threw his head back and took a deep breath. The hot energy rose past his throat and filled his mouth and when he threw his head forward again and opened his mouth, the child let out a violent, shrill scream. Pink colored electricity and sonic waves left the child's gaping maw in a circular tunnel formation, the sonic waves hitting the space before the both with rather violent force. The space in front of him began to distort, and Khoshai could only hope that enough force, energy and accuracy was poured into it for the portal to made accurate. The child was focusing on his mental image of Tiger Island, his energy focused on the amount of vitality and life energy the island gave off. This needed to be accurate. He really wanted to go home! Tora still had to rely on Khoshai. That was the unfortunate truth. Otherwise Tora would be turning himself in. This wasn't a good thing for his reputation. Still, the martial artist felt proud of his apprentice, capable of successfully tearing a wormhole in space time with his strength. Today, his power would be too much.
In the future Tora felt his abilities would be necessary. It was impossible to gauge the strength that they would need to survive.
The young man suddenly felt old standing next to Khoshai. He eyed the dense vegetation of his familiar jungle through the portal, closing his eyes as he grabbed Khoshai by the shoulder.
"Alright, let's go. Everyone, mind your strength on my island. And please! Conduct yourself with some respect."
Tora picked the small majin up, laughing for a moment. Despite it all, Tora felt proud of the boy. He always did, understandimg what he was burdened with.
In the end, Tora didn't feel comfortable with all of these guests in his jungle. His home. But they had no choice, as Tora wouldn't just leave them behind after they had gone through this ordeal together.
Tora stepped through the wormhole with Khoshai sitting on his shoulder, shooting the group a thumbs up as he grinned from ear to ear. The somber look didn't fit him.
When he emerged through the wormhole he was surprised. They had appeared above the clouds, the misty shores of Tiger Island slightly obscured. He levitated for a moment as he took a deep breath and landed on a nearby beach, descending slowly before setting the little majin down.
"Let's wait here for everyone, Kho." he said before he picked up flat rocks and inspecting rocks and then started skipping them.
"Wanna see who can skip these further?" he asked, laughing.
