It was a bright day, the sun was shining, birds chirping. Bento had been leading his two friends out to a field he found earlier that week, he wanted to show them a surprise out there. Once the three arrive, Keki happily skips ahead turning to her friends Bento and Kurimu, "Wow! This place looks so beautiful Bento? Are we gonna come here together more often?" Her blonde long hair blowing cutely in the wind as she shyly tilted her head focusing her attention on him. The three had gone out to train with each other, reaching a field outside their hometown it looked like a lovely hidden and beautiful place to relax in.
"It’s just nice and quiet really. Will make training harder with all the vines and stuff.” Bento half-heartedly chuckles to her. He was adjusting mixed martial arts gloves as he looks around at all the different colors of flowers sizing up the field and surrounding forest.
Keki gives him a slight unimpressed look as if she was expecting a different response from him. Kurimu takes Bento's arm tugging him a bit and turning his head towards her with her pure white Saiyan tail. "We should start training, right? I really wanna get my new swordstyle down." She shoots Keki a small smirk having just swiped Bento's attention away from her.
Keki turns to Kurimu holding out her palm to her with an adorably pouty face, muttering a magical spell as spark juts from her fingertips. Suddenly a ball of flames fires out directly at Kurimu and Bento, "Then training starts now!"
Kurimu, seeing the spell, jumps out of the way using Bento more as a stepping stool rather than a friend, leaving him to take the entire blast head on. Drawing her blade, she cuts through the air, her ki enveloping the cutting edge as she slashes towards Keki with a beam of energy sailing through the air.
Bento is sent flying back through the air taking Keki's fireball unexpectedly, he sails back into a tree crashing through it. "Hey! We agreed no--!!” CRUNCH! the large tree trunk slammed down on top of his back as he tried to stand, smashing his face into the ground. He was pinned under the tree partly from the pain, but the tree was heavier than most anything he lifted before.
Keki's full attention is now solely on Kurimu, not even batting at eye at what befell Bento. Sidestepping the windslash from Kurimu, she fired a volley of magical blasts back using her magic to teleport backwards to keep her distance.
Kurimu's powerful steps and strides allowing her to catch up with powerful swings of her blade one of her swing lands home bringing the full force crash into Keki sending her back into a tree.
Keki's magic protected her from losing and arm but now she was clearly mad. She landed next to Bento as Kurimu landed on the trunk with her sword, snapping it in half.
Bento's groaning and gurgling startled the girls, snapping them back to reality as they both realize what they just did to their best friend, dropping her sword Kurimu jumps down kneeling next to him pushing the trunk off his back, "Benny! Benny, are you ok?" Her tail brushes up against his face, wiping away some of the dirt.
Keki rushes over placing her hands gently on his back chanting a healing spell to mend his wounds, the warm soft glow helps him sit up. “Careful Bento, don’t move so much.” She caresses his head in her arms.
Bento squirming and trying to use the girls as support to sit up, one arm wrapped around Kurimu and his head resting on Keki’s shoulder. “A little warning before you blast a guy with a fireball, or jump on his back would be nice.” The girls help him stand, with a crack of his back he stretches getting himself ready to train properly.
The girls smile and stand in front of him when Keki chimes, “We should start his Ki training first, it'll be a better warm up for all of us.”
Kurimu nods turning to Bento, her arms posed at her sides to work her core muscles. “Remember to breathe in through your nose and out your mouth.” The faint golden glow of her powering up her snow white hair raising and turning to a bright golden shimmer. Becoming a Super Saiyan standing before her friend with a smile as it were that easy to do. “Now make an aura of ki around yourself like mine.”
Bento poses himself the same as Kurimu, he puffs out his chest taking in a large breath of air pour all his concentration into what is essentially just a focused scream as all his muscles tense up, pulsing and flexing the louder he gets.
Kurimu and Keki lean closer both able to sense he is indeed causing some sort of faint ki fluctuation however it’s nothing significant. Keki tries to hold in a giggle as she notices his face becoming a flustered red. Bento simply continuing to concentrate purely on his yelling and tensing every muscle in his body was beginning to run out of breath. His scream slowly starts to dwindle as he loses his composure hunching over to heavily pant.
Keki rubs his back gently to give him a little encouragement, before Kurimu sighes, “I told you before a hundred times. It’s not just about screaming!” As she yells her aura flares up, while bento glances up to her with a look that just oozes ‘hypocrisy’. Kurimu’s cheeks puff out in a rage, “Fine then! We can just start your normal training, maybe you’ll learn something.” She exclaims while drawing her blade once more.
After catching his breath, Bento gives her a thumbs up getting into a boxer’s fighting stance, “Now this is something I know I can do, but...can you maybe not be a super saiyan this time?” He smiles sheepishly knowing, despite her size compared to his, when she goes golden he is out matched.
