Clover is motivated by the perfection of one's own body. He enjoys training day in and day out to perfect his hoplology and his martial arts. Ultimately, he would like to be renowned as one of the best martial artists in the land, perhaps even the greater galaxy. After a lengthy service under the Earth's military, he finally has the time and the ability to make his dreams become a reality. Although he has several trials and tribulations in his life, he takes them in stride and tried to remain positive despite this.

Clover is prideful over his weapon. It was crafted by one of his ancestor's upon the forge their family was known for. He weilds it for combat and combat only, if someone tried to touch, wield, or use his spear, a rage builds up in the man. The weapon, Stormreaper, is always by his side, upon his back, or in his hand. You probably won't see the man without it. Clove is also prone to show off his body, in particularly, he is proud of the work he has crafted over the years. Clove is often eager and prompt to jump into a battle, sometimes not thinking about the consequences.

He aims to find a cure for his ailing sister and saves up Zeni in tournaments for martial arts and swordsmanship displays.
Dan: Clove's father. A beacon of strength and influence for the man. Clover has always looked up and idolized his father and his skills with a weapon. While he seems to still hold the man as an ideal, Clove has long since surpassed his father in skill and brute strength. After the passing of Clove's mother, Dan spent his days resting and trying to enjoy more than the fighting he ignored his lover over for so long. Clove picked up his weapon to live the rest of his father's life for him vicariously.

Clover was born into a martial arts dojo. His father, the dojo master, and his mother both raised the boy up and instilled grand ideals into his aspiring mind. From an early age the boy was eager to pick up a blade and mirror his father's image. It all happened like he dreamed, and soon Clove was surpassing his classmates in skill and charisma. Clove was quick to intervene and help others when needed, he somewhat became a teacher to his pupils. As he grew, the number of people who came to train grew less and less; none the less, Clover kept up his training and took care of his family.
His mother grew ill, a virus ramping its way through her systems and deteriorating her health as a snail's pace. She lived for a long time, her body growing weaker and weaker until ultimately the woman succumbed to her illness. It wasn't a quick nor easy passing, surely it was rough for everyone involved. Still, the rest of the family persevered and grew on, trying their best to live in the remnants of a loving woman.
Because of this, it was all the more shocking when Lilly's health began to falter. The young girl began showing signs at around twelve. She would grow weak at first having a hard time walking to and from. In the present, at 17 years of age the young girl is bedridden. She will arise sometimes to watch the flowers in the fields bloom, alas, even that makes her weary.
Seeing the pain in his sister's eyes only made Clove strive harder in his training. Still, it wasn't enough. Doctor after doctor couldn't help the girl, and money was tight in a failing dojo. So, Clove set out, taking on tournament after tournament to fund her health burdens. Was it ever going to be enough?
