Kuueru felt great. Despite the various lacerations inflicted upon her form from this battle, she managed to keep a devious grin upon her plum colored lips. Her icy gaze traveled between Legume and Tora, trusting neither. They both could leap out and attack her at any moment, alas she had to be prepared---after all, a demon trusted no one.
"More fun than Tora? I suppose you've never shoved sausages down your mouth in competition with him then eh?" Kuueru hissed, her pearly whites baring at the Super Saiyan. She waved her hands to her sides while the Super Saiyan gloated about his ability to keep her entertained. None the less, it was his move. He had effectively dodged her icicles and sent them back at her. Fortunately, the woman was no slug. She was easily able to dodge the refracting attack. Now she was quite cross that he wasn't just laying down and dying like she had hoped.
"Who needs to be punished though? Jeez, so harsh. Shouldn't we all just be friends?" Kuueru retorted at the man's comment about her comrade Kaijin. Still, there wasn't time to mince words. This hasty man was already zooming in with his obnoxious blade. This time, he aimed to stab. Straight for her weak points. Still, like a dancer of battle she moved to the side of the gigantic weapon. Her eyes set upon it's blade, and to its owner before whispering a bit of her demonic tongue.
Tora wasn't done yet, he appeared out of nowhere, his vicious slashing ripping at the intricate cloth that wrapped her midsection. It was with ease that his claws ripped through the fabric and her flesh. Nearly exposing muscle amongst other things. She scowled, her voice filled with vigor and anger at this point.
Ultimately her friend the snowman crept back in with another snowball aimed for the blonde's head. While he acted, the woman made her moves to escape Tora.
Her friend Doctor Kaijin was also working to help ensure their victory in this bout. For some reason, once he pointed a finger towards the demoness she felt invigorated. A sharp inhale and she was ready.
No longer was this Saiyan her worry. She had to prove a point to her comrade, the Tiger warrior Tora. Again, all four of her extremities erupted in a frigid ki. Once she was in range of Tora she unleashed a deadly barrage of kicks, punches and attacks that struggled to be caught by the naked eye. Either way, she was growing tired of this fight.

" But... you started the whole punishing thing by saying that you should punish me?" Legume muttered, puzzled, when the demoness suddenly berated him for thinking about punishing others when they could just get along. Did she... not listen to what she was saying during their fight? Apparently, this, combined with Kaijin continuing to attack like nothing happened and Tora suddenly intervening, was enough of a distraction for Kuueru to take advantage of, shifting her attention from the Super Saiyan back towards the Earthling. All while a yet another energy attack coming from Kaijin was heading his way. Sigh...Vanishing from his position and moving at sublight speeds to avoid the android's energy attack, Legume appeared in front of Kuueru once again, right as she was in the middle of laying the smackdown on Tora, and immediately reacted by moving his hand and sword to block and deflect all of the incoming strikes, his arm flying across the air so quickly that it looked less like a blocking maneuver and more like an aura through which all of the demoness's strikes failed to pass. Until finally, Legume grabbed Kuueru's right fist, immediately starting to squeeze it. " I believe I was clear that I am your opponent, not Tora." the Super Saiyan spoke, while swinging Vanity forward to try to slash across Kuueru's midsection.

Although moving at lightning speed, Tora was overwhelming himself. Plus, he was tiring. On top of it all? He had stopped tracking Kuueru as efficiently, his senses rather... Preoccupied. His timing couldn't have been worse. At the last moment, he sensed Kuueru appearing with an intention to rain down upon him with savage blows. She landed many of them, but he managed to defend a few of them. Until, one looked like it would knock him on his ass. At the last moment, Legume had to intervene and protect him. Tora was just not fighting on their level at all! No matter what he threw at Kuueru, she seemed to dodge him or evade damage. And she keeped regaining her stamina. This was frustrating to no end- the youth eyed the Demoness with a ferocious glare, his eyes gleaming with frustration. The Tiger's fangs were bared. He didn't even have time to thank Legume before he kicked into action- quite literally. A devastating kick was aimed at Kuueru's midsection, followed up by two slashes across her face. Tora's whole body was injured and maimed at this point, but he didn't care. He had somehow sustained her last barrage- mostly through sheer force of will and tenacious determination. Willpower was a hell of a thing, especially when in the hands of someone so stubborn. He didn't care if he was the weakest of the litter, so to speak. Tora no Seishin wanted to at least be looked at as a threat- a challenge- if not the victor of this match. But, was victory really so out of his grasp? As he wondered this, he phased behind Kaijin, hoping to catch him off guard. Tora unleashed a fierce series of slashes and kicks, all the while his old master nursed his wounds, pacing patiently around the outskirts of the ring in preparation. He hoped to find a moment to catch any of these powerful foes off guard. The people, though struggling to watch the fight in actuality, still cheered for Tora. In fact, most of the humans had begun chanting his name- "Tora! Tora! Tora!" This echoed in his ears as he attacked feverishly, almost praying he could hold their dreams on his shoulders adequately. Beyond that, his own dreams lied in the same direction- up, above these monstrous powers! He desired a strength that was legendary, and unparalleled! Only now in the heat of battle did he recognize his inner desire- he finished his combo to Kaijin with a roar, his feral stare locked onto the android's blank visage. He had powered up considerably- in his focused state, Tora had barely noticed it. But something was different about the Android. He seemed to be utilizing much of the latent ki in the air. Tora was becoming quite annoying. Believe it or not, it was taking Kaijin quite the bit of energy to keep Tora controlled. The only reason he didn't show it was because of the constant flow of energy he was taking in, and the fact that he never tired. Tora's constant flurry of blows were hard to keep up with, but he could keep up with them. And simply because of that, Tora's attempts to tackle him were doomed to failure. Every blow that Tora threw out at him, Kaijin was able to keep up with, swatting blows aside or partially deflecting them so that the energy imbued in each strike wasn't as powerful as if he were to simply let himself be hit by the human warrior. "As I said....you're next. Simply sit...and wait." The Android growled before phasing out of view, his speed suddenly taking a huge boost as he zipped across the battlefield.  In the span of moments, Kaijin zipped across the battlefield, suddenly appearing in front of Legume, his fist already moving to slug him across the face," I would appreciate if you were to stop ignoring me. I'm the bigger threat...you should know that by now." Shooting away from Legume to create space, Kaijin took a moment to take a deep breath. Harnessing his energy into a focal point in the center of his forehead, Kamui breathed in slowly, before exhaling. Suddenly an invisible force was sent from his forehead. A transparent missile of undetectable Ki shot through air, homing in on his target. Only the massive, fiery magenta colored explosion would serve as indication. "Look Saiyan, can't you tell you're much too weak to keep this shit up? Who cares about promising shit anyhow?" Kuueru chuckled with a sinister grin parting her plump lips. Her icy gaze set on the Saiyan as he yet again, tried to enrapture her attention. She wasn't having it, she had a battle to win after all.
AGAIN, the blond interrupted her assault toward Tora. Now she was beginning to be annoyed. Still, what she knew would get under the man's skin more than granting him her attention, was letting her underling attack him again. She signaled for the snowman, and yet again he threw another snowball of hate toward Tora. In the meantime, she broke away from the sword wielder's attempts to block her from Tora. She was much too fast and annoyed to deal with him. For now, she needed to win this battle and ignore everything else.
"You're not my opponent silly, you're but a ticking timebomb," Kuueru mumbled towards the Saiyan before she focused on Tora yet again. The look in his eyes was frustrated, angry and ready to kill. Still, the demoness wasn't even tired yet. In a fiery explosion of ki the demoness seemed to be revitalized despite the circumstanced. The kick that he aimed, avoided. The slashes, easily skipped over. Now that his phase of attack was over. It was her time for repercussions.
"HAH, TORA? You think you can just join a tournament and best me? YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN MY FULL WRATH!" Kuueru belted at the Tiger fighter before her onslaught began. The woman was encompassed by a mist similar to Tora's, only it hardened into jagged shards of ice, ready to penetrate Tora. In an instant they launched towards the man.

His greatsword clashing with the frame of the demoness yet again, Legume burrowed into the floor of the ring with his feet, both to prevent himself from getting blown back by the shockwave of the clash and to remain standing on his two feet as the virus continued to infest his bloodstream harder and harder. Kuueru seemed to note his failing condition as well, as she mentioned that he was getting weaker and weaker and that he could not keep this up. A fair point, but one he was willing to discard. " If you think that even at this state, a Super Saiyan is less of a worthwhile opponent than that Earthling, then you should work on your eyesight." Besides, at least it's good to see that the demoness was finally fighting him again. Out of the two of their opponents, she was at least more interesting than the boring android who can only communicate in flat-faced commands. And has no honor in battle, seeing as he was willing to opt to biological warfare in a simple tournament match. Androids were a common sight in the future, too, Legume got the chance to meet plenty back then. He even once got the chance to help in stopping a riot sparked by the Android Civil Rights Movement, got to meet plenty of androids there. Demons, on the other hand, were always a rare sight in the Galactic Federation and- -I suppose I shouldn't have counted on her to have a long attention span.Kuueru suddenly vanished, running after Tora to try to deal with him, instead replaced by her aforementioned android buddy, who promptly clocked Legume straight in the face, Kaijin's fist sinking deep into his cheek and pushing his head back. Ooookay, Legume is definitely not going to be doing any favors for this guy. This unholy cooperation of having no regard for honor or the legality of his actions by outright infecting Legume with a deadly virus, followed by speaking in this constant, dull, monotone voice... it was starting to drive thje Super Saiyan nuts. Thankfully, he wouldn't have to hear it for long. As he was suddenly struck by a powerful missile straight in the chest, enveloping him in a concentrated magenta explosion and sending shockwaves across the entire battlefield. Once the explosion subsided, a single, completely naked figure was standing in the epicenter. Vanity remained in his right hand, though plenty of dust and ashes had fallen on its previously pristine blade, while Legume's chiseled and toned muscles and abdomen had now been splattered across with burns from the detonation. His grip over the handle of his greatsword clenching a little bit more tightly, Legume made a step forward. Every single piece in his body hurt, from head to toes. His chest felt like it was about to burst with vomit and virus-infected blood. His arms and legs wanted to do literally anything else but continue moving forward. Maybe a stop, or a nap? For an hour, or a week, perhaps? And yet, Legume continued walking forward. Fuck the pain, I've got a point to make.Almost at a snail's pace, the battered, wounded, naked Saiyan warrior made his way towards Kaijin, slowly raising his weapon as if preparing for an another strike, and spoke: " Life is too short to spend it by not ignoring someone as meaningless as you." Take that.The Saiyan spat towards Kaijin's cheek with a mix of saliva and infected blood, and this is where his body finally pulled the stop. Apparently, even moving his tongue was too much - the golden hair on his head fading in color, Legume soon collapsed to the ground like a stiff statue. I hate losing. And I'm not even smart enough to not lose. :<

Legume had lost. This realization hit Tora like a brick wall- now he was alone, fighting against these two freakishly strong individuals. In fact, he was pretty convinced they had lost this one. Kuueru seemed to want to make sure of it- an incredible barrage of frozen ice was hardly blocked by Tora. The last of them wouldve probably knocked him out of the game- he chose to phase from view, getting himself out of harm's way. For now. Until he closed back in, inspired. Legume had worked to keep him in the game. Now Legume was collapsed- and apparently nude? Tora tried not to focus on it as he closed the gap between himself and Kuueru once again. He aimed a few punches for her midsection before continuing on to assail her with his usual slashes. "I can't believe Legume lost- it's my fault." was all that echoed through his head as he struck. Tora felt weak, helpless. Useless. Even striking Kaijin didn't seem to have much effect before- still, it didn't dishearten him to such an extreme point. He zanzokened behind Kaijin, aiming a few strikes towards his exposed back. If lucky, he wouldn't be able to guard this and he'd be injured. Tora was getting tired- very, very tired. The crowd had grow silent as he fought, literally sitting on the edge of their seats. Somehow, the underdog was still standing. Only Tora really knew that it was because of Legume. The fighter had picked up Tora's slack- he had gained a newfound respect for the Super Saiyan. Tora hoped someday he could properly team up with him and prove that he was useful enough to help. Today didn't seem to be the day- but it didn't stop him from trying. Tora's old master had taken to watching, only planning to intervene in the instance of Tora's seemingly imminent loss. "Let's finish this!" he exclaimed to the pair. It was clear he was desperate to prove himself, still fighting with all his strength. Kaijin sighed as he descended down upon the ground. He didn't need to analyze Legume's pulse to decide that the Super Saiyan's role in this battle was done. However, Legume still decided it was best to get up, to persevere despite the fact that he was practically....nude. He would never understand how persistent organics were. But even while persistent, they proceeded with little to no plan, other than rush the other man consistently. Regardless of methods, Kaijin had discovered his opponents' weaknesses, had exploited them, dominating his opponents systematically. Honor didn't win fights, as shown by Legume's loss. Strategy and manipulating the battlefield to suit the plan created was how victory was attained. "Life is too short to spend it by not ignoring someone as meaningless as you."Followed by Legume raising his blade as if to strike the Android, and then spitting in his face, the blood speckled spittle marking the alabaster colored skin on his cheek. Before Kaijin could even fully react, the man dropped backwards, his blond hair fading back to black as he hit the ground. Sighing heavily, Kaijin took advantage of Kuueru keeping Tora busy to kneel before the unconscious Saiyan. If left unchecked, the nanobots would continue to tear Legume apart from the inside, which would definitely kill the Saiyan in due time. He didn't want that for two reasons. Reason number one being Shroomy forbid killing. Reason number two being what he heard Legume say to Kuueru just as he appeared in front of him.... "If you think that even at this state, a Super Saiyan is less of a worthwhile opponent than that Earthling, then you should work on your eyesight."This man was a Super Saiyan. He had the suspicion that he was this entire fight so far, but could never be sure of it. However, Legume's statement confirmed the good doctor's suspicions. This man in front of him was one of the rare Super Saiyans, capable of the rare transformation that only appeared a few times every generation. Queen Radia was reputed to be one, a fact that was well known, even outside of the Saiyan Dominion. When she was killed on Abbayor, Kaijin pretty much gave up on his desire to acquire Super Saiyan DNA, but here was another one. Right before his eyes. "You're so melodramatic..." Kaijin muttered under his breath, wiping the spittle off his cheek as he placed his hand over Legume's face. The nanobots would soon force their way out of Legume's body through the mouth, nose and pores, leaving his body and immune system to fend for itself until he could be rushed to the medcenter. Standing above Legume's body. Kaijin held out his other hand, in which a robotic insect, as small as a mosquito filtered off his body, dropping onto Legume's right arm. "Withdraw a blood sample and re-" Of course, it was in that moment that the tiger style martial artist returned to attack him with a vengeance. The flurry of blows sent Kaijin flying across the arena, his body crashing hard into the dirt. Luckily, his mosquito-bot had gotten the message and had flown off his body prior to the attack, extracting the necessary blood amount from Legume's right arm before flying back over to Kaijin, the mosquito-bot disappearing inside the Android's sleeves. "How....unexpected..." Kaijin remarked as he moved to stand up. That last offensive had hit harder than he expected, his artificial spinal cord moving to hastily self correct itself before it could suffer more damage. Regardless, the Android stood tall and calm amongst the roaring crowds. "You know you cannot defeat me. Allow me to teach you why!" Kaijin exclaimed before adopting a stance. A familiar stance. He had acquired enough detailed data on Tora, which, combined from the last bout, allowed him to mimic the martial artist's fighting style and attributes with devastating accuracy. Kaijin had now adopted the same Tiger Style stance that Tora boasted! "Fade unto dust..." The good doctor turned Tiger Style adept said before vanishing from sight, his speed boosting itself quite a great deal as he reconfigured the attributes of the fighting style, as it was based on speed, which was the opposite of Kaijin's default "Shatterpoint" fighting style. For a moment, it appeared to Tora that Kaijin had completely vanished, the man's undetectable energy making him a difficult one to track. But, suddenly Kaijin reappeared before Tora, and unleashed a devastating torrent of well placed blows dedicated to striking the pressure points, ending in a swift front kick, followed by a side kick, ending with a back kick aimed straight to the center of the chest. ❛ICECOLD❜❆ "Truth be told, I don't know much about what a 'Super Saiyan' is, perhaps you'll do a better job of teaching me when we next meet, Legume," Kuueru's icy gaze bared down on the man who seemed riddled with a pride unlike any she had ever seen. If this was the capabilities of a Saiyan that had ascended, color her impressed. The man certainly put up a valiant fight, even managing to shield his ally from several blows that would have left him without a teammate. Perhaps it was to save his own ass and have a chance of winning, or perhaps Tora was sincerely a friend of this Legume's. A friend of Tora's had to have been a somewhat decent person at least. Still, she could sense the defeat in the air. Why waste energy on a man who was barely able to brace his own weight? Every ounce of ki she was pushing out needed to be focused. Just because one man was down, almost, didn't mean that it was over. She attacked Tora over and over again. She could sense the wear in his soul, yet as an Earthling would, he always got back up. Kuueru smiled, the most genuine smile she could make. It came from the heart, mostly because she was damn impressed with the Tiger fighter's improvement since their last bout. Kaijin soon after handled Legume. Some magenta explosion left the man bare, and wobbly in the knees. Hell, even with what little energy he had, he still managed to spit in the android's face before falling on the ground like an overweight woman who lost her footing. Kuueru chuckled, perhaps she was too distracted because Tora was on the move again, and with a vengeance. Tora was on the move, his punches ripping through the air for her torso as she tried to weave, alas, a few managed to hit and wind the woman. She scowled, her teeth grinding as she tasted the iron in her mouth. Still, she was able to disappear in the last minute of a devastating blow. "Tora, please. . . You've proven your point, you've grown so much. Do I really have to do this?" Still, she knew his answer. Despite her pleas to stop the violence, the man clearly wanted to end the battle. She exhaled a chilling breath before her eyes began to glow with a vibrant hue. She nodded towards the Tiger, then to her partner. Again, she summoned the blade of ice from her arsenal, alongside of it a modest shield to match. With a beastly roar the woman fought to control the demonic energies that were rousing in her soul. Then, she was off. A shield bash to start, and then a flurry of wild slashes aimed to connect at an array of point across the blue haired man's body. A strange sensation had washed over Tora no Seishin, the Roaring Tiger Spirit of Earth. Kainin had adopted his own fighting style- any other development prior to that was irrelevant. He had done more than just copy it- In fact, in essence, he utilized the Tiger Style. With the same intricacies as Tora- at least, in that moment. But it was enough. In his surprise, Tora barely managed to guard against the flurry of blows they exchanged. Slash after slash countered each other as they were lost in a whirlwind of motion. The crowd cheered louder than ever at the display! Here was one man, standing against two superpowers! The xenos never imagined a mere human to outlast a Super Saiyan! Despite this Tora felt utterly despondent. Yet, inspired. Yet- sick. Yet? Awake. For the first time. He realized the universe he lived in. The scope. The scale. Such a being existed that could copy his martial prowess in a moment. This was more than a contest of skill. Everything he had learned up until now hadn't failed him- yet, it hadn't measured up to prepare him for this fight. Against the ethereal, or the mechanical. The Tiger of Earth disengaged Kaijin, panting and nearly out of breath. Shocking the crowd, Tora laughed, giving his opponent a thumbs up. "Alright, alright Kaijin... if you insist, I'll give you a lesson in my Dojo another time!" With that, his eyes gleamed ferociously. His body was close to exhaustion- yet his spirit was in full swing. He phased from view, targeting the good doctor with a series of clawed slashes, before moving to engage Kuueru- just as she engaged him. She had summoned a sword and shield, made completely of frost. She claimed he had proven himself after their last exchange- he was unsure of it. But he had always respected Kuueru. Admired her. She was a unique person- her strength only accentuated that fact. And added to her mystery. Her motivations were at a complete and utter loss to him. Despite that, he grinned at the demonic and holy enigma that he had picked a fight with, his battered frame literally trembling from exhaustion. Yet, he managed to evade her strikes, albeit narrowly. They were so fearsome that the air in their void froze, chilled. He could see arcs of the freeze in her attacks wake. He realised he would struggle to dodge her once more. With this realization he charged forward, assailing Kuueru with various techniques from his tiger style. She had evaded him before, despite his tenacity. Now, he hoped to prove himself even further. Her words had encouraged the Tiger to push himself and display his newfound capabilities. This had to be the climax. Tora, the human fighter, the representative of his kind in this tournament, against both Kaijin and Kuueru. He had to admit, he was impressed as well by Tora's dramatic increase in power. It wasn't so long ago that Kaijin had toyed with the martial artist in their last bout in that tournament back on Earth. Now, the martial artist was matching him blow for blow, and daresay, was pressuring the Android. Believe it or not, if this fight continued much longer, Kaijin feared that this fight wouldn't end in his favor, unless he increased the energy output. He copied Tora's infamous Tiger Style fighting style, and that was great. Now, he merely had to use it better than Tora himself.
Shockwaves rippled across the surface of the tournament as Kaijin and Tora continued their fierce melee, the two like opposing storms, clashing together as they whipped across the battlefield, every clash of blows like a collision of great force, sending an expulsion of concussive force rocketing across the battlefield.
Eventually, both Android and man broke contact as Kuueru jumped into the fray, Kaijin somersaulting backwards, before dropping on one knee. His sensory systems were in disarray, harrowed after such an intense fight. Legume and Tora both had proved to give him quite the struggle, and Kaijin's combat systems weren't used to being under so much strain. He could keep fighting, most certainly. He was built to be able to prolong combat for days, even weeks. Hell, he wasn't sure what his limitations were. But even so, if he kept suffering the same level of damage, surely he would reach a breaking point where the damage would prove too much. Which is why he was grateful for this little break as Kuueru took the lead in battle, leaving Kaijin time to self correct his systems, and root out imperfections, before flying back into the fray.
The tiger fighter came back at him with a vengeance, and before long the two were at it again, Kaijin's motions mimicking Tora's own, his own use of the tiger techniques fluid and smooth, as if he had spent years perfecting the craft, instead of simply mimicking it based on acquired data. The two were locked in a fierce, high speed trade of blows, once more sending shockwaves rippling through the ground.
"Damn you, I'm tired of this!" Kaijin exclaimed, his stoic expression breaking for the first time in battle. In this moment, both Kuueru and the tiger master could see past the calm and collected doctor, the all knowing scientist who kept his calculating mind hidden behind an excellent poker face. They saw a hint at his original personality that laid underneath the surface. The hotheaded child who had so brutally killed Aubus a year ago. His anger and frustration clear on his face, he returned at Tora with a vengeance, unleashing a devastating flurry of blows upon Tora before moving to place his hands around Tora's head, before pulling the tiger man's head forward to meet Kaijin's raising knee halfway, in an attempt to slam Tora's face into Kaijin's right knee.

❛GOD DEMON❜＊ Somehow, her strikes were completely avoided. This cat was fast, despite him moving away, the sword still managed to leave its lingering chill in the absent air. Her eyes focused on him once he came back into view. He seemed in decent spirits, even managing to crack a few jokes despite the condition of his body. She sighed, her sword first shattering as it hit the ground, then her shield. She was losing energy, that much was for certain, she hadn't the time to drag out this fight much long. She was hoping, no praying for a miracle to say the least. Her tired eyes stared up at the sky, the mega dome encasing them seeming miles above them at this point. The tiger came, but this time, the woman froze herself last minute in a block of ice. Tora's fists weren't even able to permeate such a thick frozen shield. Kuueru lay dormant inside, her body pulling what little ki she could muster while Tora went on about his business with Kaijin. She could still hear every word, the frustration in the Doctor's voice clear. Kuueru had gotten to know him well over the past month or so, she could even envision the frustration on his face. Still, there was something beckoning within her soul. Her chaotic energy began to subdue, perhaps mixing with another energy to create a harmony. Kuueru inhaled sharply, trying to quell the rampant fight within her very aura. Then suddenly, it all clicked. This was it. This was her. Kuueru in the purest sense of a demoness created from godly means. A fruit cast out for imperfection that finally managed to get a glimpse of what it was like to be, just the way she was meant to be. Perfect. It happened. The ice shattered.
A dazzling magenta light spilled over the arena, blinding many in the crowd for a moment. What stood in its place was a figure with a sprawling ivory wing span. It resembled the pink haired woman who first stepped into the arena earlier in the day. She had put the remainder of her power on the floor, and it was time to see if she could end this fight once and for all. The woman inhaled sharply, her eyes opening, a pure alabaster that showed no emotion. Her body was bare of any clothing, yet she was only a silhouette of pure light. A sense of calm arrived in the arena in lieu of the fear that Kuueru normally elicited. "I'm God." It was a simple statement, her voice monotone and clear. Then she was gone. Her speed was as tremendous as usual, and she moved towards the Tora with nothing but her body in tow. No swords, no shields, no energy blasts. Once in range she simply sent a gust of energy infused wind towards the blue-haired man. It buffeted and send immense blades of light towards Tora. Tora's old master eyed Kaijin, intrigued. This one had proven to bring something out of Tora- a power that the youth didn't even know existed. From his spot on the edge of the arena, the wounded old tiger knew the fight was coming to a close. There was no way that Tora could survive much longer short of luck- which seemed to almost hold up as the Tiger of Earth narrowly dodged most of Kaijin's attacks before they began to rend his flesh and wound him further. The pair disengaged after their impressive bout, which had elicited an uproar from the crowd.
They couldn't believe this human was this strong! It seemed to frustrate the normally stoic doctor, which did please both the old tiger and his apprentice.
However, Tora's strength was about to be completely overshadowed. Kuueru had managed to mitigate most of his attacks, surrounding herself in a barrier of ice. Then it began, the ice shattering, replaced by an brilliant hue of magenta, all emanating from Kuueru's incredible ki signature. The very quality of her energy changed to something... different. The air hung heavy with her newfound strength.
Then she said it. Words that frightened Tora to his core, words that actually made Tora question his trust for the woman.
"I'm God."
With that, she vanished with incredible speed. The very wind bent to her whim, she infused it with ki and sent blades of ki towards the martial artist. Tora's injured from was cut even more, blood spraying from various fresh wounds, painting the arena around the fighter crimson- until the ki itself evaporated the blood, and Tora was sent hurtling back at tremendous speeds.
That was when the old albino tiger moved. He materialized behind the youth, his large body taking most of the impact. The old Tiger grunted as a few of his massive ribs broke under the force of the impact- Tora's bones cracked as well, before he fell. The elder beast caught him in his jaws, the boy hanging like a young kitten from its' parents' maw.
Tora twitched, sizzling with injuries as the damaged white armor that covered his body began to crumble off of his beaten form, the transformation slowly dissipating. As this happened, the old tiger began to return to a mist like state, dropping the boy to the ground as he faded from existance, returning to the depths of Tora's soul. The young fighter struggled, trying to get to his feet as the crowd chanted his name. They wanted him to keep going! Some of the human kids in the stands had started crying- their parents bit their nails with anxiety, amazed at the display they had just witnessed.
Tora fell to his knees, his breath ragged. His eyes locked onto Kuueru, and then Kaijin- if they were looking at him, they would notice a distinct emotion hidden behind his blue eyes.
Respect.
He was furious that the pair had won- yet he couldn't help but shake with excitement. He cursed his weak body one final time for not being able to keep fighting, stammering out one last thought before he lost consciousness:
"Y-you two... did well..." he complimented, collapsing. His body looked horrible. Bruised, cut, broken. The taxing nature of fighting at this level was obvious to anyone looking on, but the actual amount of damage he had sustained was incredible. Tora looked worse for wear than the unconscious Legume, but despite his lack of consciousness his fists were clenched tight.
It was as if he was still fighting, despite his loss. Tora still hadn't given up, even in the blackness of his mind. He didn't need to be conscious to be determined, his determination ran far deeper than his conscious mind.
The crowd cheered again, this time for Kuueru and Kaijin. They had stopped chanting Tora's name.
If he had been awake, it would've broken his heart.

Never before had Kaijin felt such frustration. Not since that day, the day he had killed Kai Aubus in a fit of rage. In recent days, he had written his actions off as frustration as his practical enslavement to Doctor Janus, as well as emotional immaturity that came to just discovering the full realm of his complex emotions. But this time? This time it was frustration as Tora's capability to improve in combat, to pressure him so. To the point where Kaijin had to copy Tora's own Tiger style in order to simply compare in melee combat.
And even then, Tora was still giving him trouble. The half exhausted, wounded human was still causing the tireless Android grief. Around the arena they danced, every blow the Android suffered like a personal insult, a reminder of his own less than satisfactory performance. His partner, Kuueru, had displayed a dazzling and ferocious offensive in this tournament, relaying attacks that Kaijin wasn't even sure he could properly defend against. Hell, it was nothing like the woman he had fought back on Hollow, as prep for the tournament himself.
His fighting style wasn't offensive enough. He needed more firepower behind his blows if he wanted the same result as Kuueru got from her blows. She kept her opponents on her toes, creating a spectacular display of force. Kaijin's fighting style...depended too much on the variables, the likes of which were different in every person. It was almost like....like...
He underestimated the persistence of man.
"I'm God."
His thoughts were interrupted a millisecond later by the arrival of Kuueru. Or rather....Divine Kuueru.
The woman's dazzlingly bright magenta aura lit the center of the arena ablaze, like a lighthouse in the middle of a dark storm. In an instant, Kuueru was besides Kaijin and Tora, and a second later Kaijin could see nothing, his hair blown violently to the side. He was even forced to cover his face from the fierce elements as he was nearly blown away. He had never felt such tremendous force, such spectacular power in one blow...not since he had fought Demon King Lute.
The attack effected Kaijin just by being near the primary target, that when he finally opened his eyes, he wasn't surprised to see how bad it had affected Tora. The human male looked only a few steps away from death, and the Android scientist wasn't surprised to see the human collapse after muttering a few, unintelligible words, his praising of them lost beyond the mass cheers of the crowd.
They had done it. They had won the tournament match.
Another mosquito bot floated away from Kaijin's coat as it made it's way across the arena to where Tora lied unconscious. It would then proceed to latch onto Tora's exposed arm, moving to collect a blood sample from the human warrior who had long ago proven himself worthy of such an honor. Sighing lightly, the Android turned to Kuueru. Now this was interesting. She had claimed herself a god, a divine being, and his detection systems did show the presence of an energy signature that was related, at least vaguely, to that of Aubus's. Was she a Shinjin? Or a demon? All this time, he had only detected the demonic energy within her. It was what had attracted the Android to her and Lute in the first place, back on Tech Tech. However now, there was something else at play. What was it?
Smiling softly, the Android addressed Kuueru
"We'll have a lot to discuss on the journey back to Hollow. I believe it's time we spoke about who you truly are, and perhaps I will do the same. But for the moment, we celebrate."

ICE COLD The woman didn't relent her attacks until she was positive it was done. Suddenly, there was a sharp decline in the Earthling's energy. With it, the man's body became looser than before. She ceased her assault of energy inflicting gusts and stood amongst the middle of the area, Kaijin still on her flank. She hadn't thought about him in the crossfire, but surely the man would withstand it. Tora's body had been slung through the air, and if not for his master breaking the throw, he surely would have found himself in a concrete bed. Kuueru sighed in relief, her eerie gaze shifting the Kaijin, and then to the crowd who now shouted the winning duo's names. She felt odd, perhaps she hadn't consciously been aware of the past few moments. Her gaze shifted to her hands that gave off an ethereal glow, she turned her palms over and then glanced down to her legs. She was something…else. Something she had never seen before. She felt at ease however, and as Kaijin addressed her, she could only stop to stare at the man.
"I---I agree, I…feel pretty off righ---" Kuueru paused, her body's light going out like an old bulb. Her wings dispersed into a glittering display of light. Her eyes returned to their dull purple hue. Her usual tunic, shorts and boots were on her body once more. Then suddenly, she fell to her knee. She was exhausted, still she managed to stay conscious unlike their foes on the area floor. "I'm tired, very tired." Kuueru mumbled to the android, her eyes scanning the ring looking for the announcer who was shouting their every move during this fight. "Trust me, I have questions too." One last sentence for the woman before she managed to stand again. Her knees were wobbling, but she managed to make her way to the Doctor. She braced her arm against his shoulder, doubting he would mind too much. In the past few weeks they had become unusually close, well, about as close as one could be to an artificial being that is. "Say, do you know what we get for a prize?" Kuueru whispered to the man, a sly smile pressing on her plump lips. "Hell, it doesn't matter. Let's head out."

The gates opened up on both sides of the luminous arena and immediately a pair of medical droids floated into the expansive space. One went over to Legume and the other to Tora. This wasn't a deathmatch, so both were still alive--if not a bit worse for wear. The bots would administer first aid in short order, sealing wounds with bio-foam and giving painkiller injections.
The Super Saiyan Legume seemed far more battered and broken then the rest. The medical bot assigned to help him levitated his burned naked body, as well as giant sword, using an anti-grav projector and carried him out of the arena. He would need to be placed in a healing tank immediately. A few hours later, the warrior would awake to find himself in pristine condition, albeit maybe not mentally after such a horrendous defeat in front of thousands of people.
Tora, who was battered but not quite as broken probably could walk out of the arena on his own two feet. And he would do so to claps and cheers. The people were more than excited to see him fight and stand to to toe with colossal powers like Kaijin and Kuueru.
"Stupendous!" Shroomy said, his voice echoing over the arena floor.
He zoomed down over the masses on his platform, arms raised wide. "We have our winners, Doctor Vex and the Baroness Kuueru! Two great humanitarians and galactic defenders out here showing what they are made of. Give it up for the champs!"
The roars for the victors were deafening, a crashing wave of sound that battered the entire arena. In fact, in the tunnels leading to the locker rooms, both Kaijin and Kuueru would feel the hum and vibration.

Like most sports matches, soon as the winners were called and the participants left the stage--everyone started to filter out. There was an excitement in the air, a hunger for more super-powered violence. But, they would have to wait until the next Shroomy's to see the galaxy's best fighters wage war against each other in an all out bout of fisticuffs and spirit lasers.
Kuueru and Kaijin would find themselves treated like royalty for the rest of the evening. Personal doctors, or in Kaijin's case a mechanic, would come to treat any wounds they had. They would be treated to a king's feast and have their hotel expenses paid for. Finally they would receive a token of gratitude from their host, a platinum mushroom shaped medal naming them the winners.
