In the midst of his daily routine, Tora found himself drawn away from a meal with a sudden realization. From nowhere, an incredible power had appeared on his island. It felt... dark. Ominous. In fact, Tora could smell that the air was thick with a pungent ki. The youthful martial artist rose from his makeshift table, making a few strange hand signs as he did. From there, a blue mist surrounded him, one infused with his latent ki.

A moment later, a massive albino tiger materialized in the brush near the martial artists home. Tora leapt upon its back, the mist still surrounding him. His canine teeth elongated into fangs, and his hair began to grow, stretching down the length of his body. The old white tiger laughed in excitement; He had figured out how to bind his soul even further with his own, thus increasing his power. A white almost organic armor now covered Tora's body; a strange bladed tail stretched from the back. Claws had now appeared on the ends of Tora's fingertips.

The Tiger of Earth had been honing his craft diligently in the light of his recent battles. Now this strange power had chosen to make an appearance- and the earthling figured he should at least make a flashy introduction. Tora didn't want to come off as weak. The pair had dashed through the brush with an unnatural agility, making their way to a large mountain near the power sources. It would overlook the mountain and the duo imagined they'd be most capable of surveying the power signature from the mountaintop.

As they reached the peak of the mountain the Tiger of Earth saw the individual emitting such an incredible power. From above the misted rainforest, Tora ascertained that the cloaked figure in the distance was in fact the one. With a grin and a wave, Tora did something unexpected.

He beckoned to the man.

"Hey! Stranger! I see you've taken the time to appreciate the view of my island! I hope that's all you're here for! Either that or the swimming! Oh, the fish are great!" he quipped with a strange and severe honesty.

The impressive part of this was just how booming his voice actually had to be to project the distance that it was. I guess that's why they called him the 'Roaring Tiger of Earth!'

Them being himself. If this was a threat, Tora had just exposed himself. Not that his power level wouldn't be an instant indicator. The youth grinned his fanged smile, still standing atop the brilliantly white tiger. Only time would tell what this stranger was doing surveying Tora's island.

See, what seemed unfortunate to Tora is the phrasing this obviously nefarious individual used when referring to one of the tigers that lived here. Freely, Tora might add. If he cared to talk it over after the immense headache that this stranger caused him with his psychic presence. Invasive. Much like Amatracina, in that way. The Demoness he had met recently. However, this one felt much stronger than she. His mere aura was emitting something unnatural. A being so attuned to the natural flow of ki like Tora could taste something vile when his mind was entered so forcefully. Like the very nature of this man was corrupted. Tora, in his brilliant white armor, clutched at his temple and rubbed it.

Phasing from view, he reappeared in front of the man, the old tiger that he had rode watching the pair from the mountaintop. Through their unique mental link, Tora had instructed the beast to guard the island itself; Prevent damage from coming to the general area as best it could. The beast and Tora had matched strength. Completely even. They could function separately, but only to an extent. The further away from Tora that the large creature went, the less 'real' it became. But, on this small island?

They could function properly. If there was to be a battle, however, Tora dreaded it being here. Which was why he had appeared directly ahead of the towering green figure. Tora extended a clawed hand, in an odd manner of greeting. Last time he had dealt with a dark force similar to this he had displayed a respect, and it had subsided the issue- albeit temporarily, giving Tora enough time to achieve the newfound strength he was displaying in this instance. However, just remaining at this level was taxing for him.

This man had also professed a malicious intent if Tora did not give up one of the creatures that he adored. If he didn't, the island would face dire consequences. But having raised many of the cubs here himself, he felt a connection to them as deep as family. The love he felt welled up in his chest as he eyed the man- no, the monster- who stood before him. He doubted the creature would be treated properly. Again, he recalled Amatracina who had experimented on the local dinosaur life to the point of mutation. Tora imagined one of his family twisted and deformed; Without warning, his teeth elongated even further, his hair becoming more wild. A blue flame burned in his eyes, as clawed hands curled into fists held by his sides. No. He wasn't going to act the same way again. That was before- fear for his island had led him close to bargaining with a dark force.

This time? This man was going to try to take one of the noble creatures that he loved. “I am not going to part with one of these Tigers.” he growled out, clenching his teeth viciously. He didn't tower over others like his counterpart, but he did have height to him. And thick, coiled muscle. “If you want a Tiger, take me- or rather, my broken body!”

With that, he phased from view once more, a strange blue mist, or smoke left in his wake. With an unnatural speed he unleashed an incredible series of strikes on his foe, hoping to frighten him with the true nature of his Tiger Style. Perhaps this had been a mistake- here was an enemy that Tora knew nothing about, who seemed much more powerful than the daughter of the Demon Lord that had taken residence on the nearby island. Yet he still kept the pressure on. Clawed strikes threatened his foe, but Tora made a special choice here- he targetted his foes' muscle groups, hoping to tear into them and limit his movements, preventing him from utilizing evasive movements as easily.

The old Tiger on top of the mountain eyed his pupil with concern- Tora had engaged a powerful foe far too quickly in his aged opinion. Where was the wisdom in his apprentice? With a sigh, the elder albino tiger chose to still follow the young tiger's instruction. For now.

If anything went wrong, he would intervene without a doubt.

To even be near such a tremendous and malicious aura was devastating to the youthful martial artist. He felt his reserves of strength dwindle as his opponent's aura seemed to feed off his own; Tora backed away quickly, as he felt an onslaught to compliment his own was about to be returned in suit. Tora knew this man would counter with something powerful; he just didn't know what. That is until the beast of a man extended a finger, his black smoke-like aura churning and bubbling with potent ki.

As an incredibly powerful beam of energy rocketed towards Tora, the martial artist knew it had the strength to destroy a mountain. Still, he also knew it would hurt him even moreso if it was allowed to strike. It was moments like this that ingenuity in the art of ki manipulation was a necessity. Focusing his energy, with a swift series of motions he began to create a strange shimmering surface, reflective in nature. Without warning the piercing beam struck the mirror-like surface- and, surprisingly it arced back towards its creator in a devastating sweeping motion. It was like a child playing with lights and mirrors when Tora's face lit up, hoping the counterattack would surprise his foe.

It was another crafty technique he had thought up to deal with long range fighters. Tora expelled at close quarters; he managed to narrowly dodge the kick the green figure followed up with, Tora's armored tail coiling to wrap itself around the Demon King's leg. "My name is Tora no Seishin, the Roaring Tiger Spirit of Earth! This is my island! These tigers are my family- I'm not the one seeking a fight here!"

With that, Tora unleashed a series of rapid claw strikes, hoping to hold the Namekian close enough with his tail. From there, the Earthling fighter would attempt to strike a few key points on his opponents' body- he wanted to return the favor and drain some of his enemies incredible strength for his own.

"I offer you a chance to make peace here and leave!" he yelled as he finished the attack.

The force that the Demon King proceeded with was incredible. He didn't seem to have any remorse or concern for himself or any injury sustained. The malevolent figure advanced through the smoke like the grim reaper himself, a horrendous aura encircling him. With minimal effort Tora felt his attacks mitigated- the martial artist roared in frustration, backpedaling and regaining his composure. Not that he had much time. Simply standing near the strange warrior was taxing to his body, already under a severe toll from the transformation. His ki was deteriorating rapidly.

In fact when he had stopped Tora's attacks the very jungle had shook. Tora watched as birds flew away in fear- perhaps in wisdom- from this man. "... Then you leave me no choice." the Earthling responded, having shielded himself against the resonating burst of energy the self proclaimed Demon King had displayed.

The hulking foe advanced from there. Rushing towards him, Tora calculated the other fighter was going to attack him with a knee, to the sternum or some other vital area. His body language suggested it. With an amazing speed, Tora narrowly avoided the Demon King's first attack, hesitating to cheer just yet. The Tiger of Earth knew this man was more like a runaway train.

The next unstoppable strike would come soon. It was a hook- a devastating one at that. Tora threw his head back and narrowly avoided it, laughing as he did. His deft precision would hopefully be rewarded with his own rebuttal. He aimed a series of rapid fire strikes at his opponents stomach- the center of his ki, hoping to disrupt the flow of his incredible aura. If he just could, maybe he'd have a chance of besting this monster.

Without it Tora feared for his island. Imagining the devastation that could befall the creatures he admired so fervently, Tora no Seishin unleashed a devastating combination assault, although plagued by the aura of his powerful enemy.

Tora wouldn't allow his home to fall so easily.

Despite the strain presented on his body, Tora felt prideful and invigorated. He even surprised himself when he instinctively defended against Lute's psychic onslaught; the Tiger's own telepathic abilities were minute in comparison, but in this instance he managed to create a wall protecting him from the strange mental assault his foe utilized.

Tora's feelings of success would come to a screeching halt. The Demon King would counter with a series of ki infused bullets- which, Tora dodged without much thought despite their speed and power. He almost teased his foe.

That is, until lava poured from the injured Earth, steaming as it came into contact with water. Tora roared in frustration, his eyes wild with emotional duress as he looked up at the Namekian fighter. "You... bastard..." he cursed, softly, anger welling up inside of his gut.

This was why Tora hated individuals who used their ki in this way. It was destructive and haphazard, tools of genocide masquerading as martial arts. There was no style. No substance.

Just raw power. Now the Earth bled, all because of some selfish King of Demons. Tora no Seishin clenched his clawed fists, his mist like aura bursting to life around him. A feverish desire to win and prevent any further destruction fueled the incredibly rapid fire series of strikes that were to come, Tora phasing into view face to face with the Demon King, ignoring the pain caused by his aura.

His stomach churned as he rained down strike after strike, hoping to discourage the monstrous warrior to disengage and retreat back to wherever he came from.

"Just leave, damn it! Don't you have anything less -selfish- to do?!"

So caught in the throes of passion, Tora could hardly even realize that his attacks were working. In fact, it wasn't until Lute's counterattack that his primal instinct relaxed enough to give him the opportunity to respond more reasonably. Tora felt his energy wane as Lute's aura fed off his own, like maggots in rotting flesh.

The energy Tora felt gathering in the air was terrifying. He knew something bad was going to happen- the very oxygen sizzled and bubbled as Lute extended his arm into the air. That was when Tora realized something; Calling on his mental link with the giant tiger, he gave the beast a command: mitigate as much destruction as it could, even if it hurts.

When a giant wall of ki began forming, Tora worried if he was too late. Parts of the island began to sear, and Tora evaded the majority of the explosion- it wasn't until his old master appeared, who's giant frame had chosen to take on the brunt of the explosion. The beast stood there, smouldering and trembling, clearly injured from the caustic force of the blast.

Tora was almost so distracted that he didn't see Lute attempting a headbutt, the martial artist narrowly avoiding the strike. With a newfound fury and passion, Tora attempted to grab onto the man's cape as he passed him, growling in frustration. If successful, he would strike him with such rapid precision all over his body, aiming to sap his foes' strength and energy.

From there, Tora supercharged his claws with ki and unleashed a devastating slashing combo, following up the precision strike with a more wild and dangerous flurry.

All the while, Tora could feel the pain through the mental link the pair shared. The giant albino tiger was injured, and Tora no Seishin wasn't feeling very forgiving. He wanted to drag this man's face through the mountains, rend his head from his body.

Tora felt like a predator hunting an even larger beast than himself.

Tora just couldn't seem to actually injure the other fighter. Despite apparently landing a multitude of strikes upon his seemingly living aura, the Demon King showed little to no physical damage. In a normal fight, Tora would have won by now. This man was far from normal. In an incredible display of his bizarre physiology, Lute reached for him from yards away, his snaking elongated arm threatening to constrict around him like one of the jungle snakes Tora tended to grill in his youth when he was training. They weren't poisonous; Simply muscular, and deadly. As a boy Tora would feign weakness, and allow the snake to attempt to suffocate him.

From there, a young Tora would break the neck of the snake at a critical moment, leaving a large meal for him to gorge himself on. The jungle taught a valuable lesson when hunting- you never know the difference from predator or prey, truly. The smallest insects can hold the deadliest poisons. So, when the Demon King's arm threatened to ensnare him, Tora could do nothing but evade. With incredible ki-empowered agility, he phased from view, appearing directly outside of the outstretched limb that had begun coiling around itself.

A cruel idea entered Tora's brain, and he entertained the idea for only a millisecond before he sprung into action. He would attempt to grab onto the elongated arm as it returned to it's master with startling speed, utilizing at least a fraction of the leverage of it to send him flying towards his foe, fist outstretched. Tora, now hurtling forward at speeds impressive even for the youthful martial artist, aimed an incredible punch at his foes' gut, trying to penetrate the force of his aura. Then, following through with the bizarre combination, he would try to ensnare the Namekian's neck with his tail, bringing a clawed slash up his body aimed for his face.

Apparently, Tora wanted to do some reconstructive surgery on the Demon King who threatened his home. He was so emboldened by his current passion, time itself seemed to slow to the fighter as his feral senses began to take over, showcased in the wild combo he had just attempted. In conjunction, his ears elongated a little further and his visage became more animalistic. He also hadn't stopped growling, lowly and deeply, since entering the proximity of his opponent.

"Let's end this quickly!"

Tora had landed a real blow, finally. But now wasn't the time to cheer; In fact, in his feral state Tora had no thoughts of cheering. Merely of his victory; His eyes had shifted to an even more incredible glow, but his pupils had utterly dissipated. His breath was deep and ragged, but strong- the same auric mist his body had been permeating before now came from his maw with each breath, swirling out around him and dissipating into the sky. Time felt slow for the feral martial artist as he felt Lute's aura smash into him, his body simply withstanding the concussive force- albeit painfully as it pushed him back a few feet. From there, Tora would rapidly dodge the left-handed jab from the Demon King, followed by a deft weave to avoid the right hook that continued the combination. Lute had gotten too close. Tora aimed a deft clawed strike for his right hand as he retracted it, striking up the length of his arm with his claws, not willing to break the distance and bring the fight back to a ranged battle.


Either that or he was so mad with animal fury that he failed to have the ability to disengage. Strangely, the mist-like aura hadn't left from Tora's form. His stamina seemed to be recovering itself, but as his injured master looked on he wondered how long Tora would be capable of sustaining this form at this level. Only once, during their training, had Tora reached this state before. He had burned through too much energy too fast. The old tiger, licking at his wounds, feared that the same would happen here. Still, he had to have faith. This young man had proven him wrong so many times before- the Spirit Animal knew he'd have to believe in the martial artist. He was far too injured to do much at this point, and if he wanted to heal then Tora would need to rest.


Tora didn't look like he was resting anytime soon, as he slashed at Lute's frame once again, hoping to draw purple blood once again. This time Tora wanted to taste it. Maybe whatever alien this guy was would taste good if he cooked it right? The mad tiger laughed at this notion, almost on autopilot as he fought. Instincts had taken over for him at this point- but it was uncertain how long he would be able to keep it up.


This Demon King was powerful, to say in the least. Despite his current focus, it hurt to simply be engaging in such close quarters combat with the behemoth. When he came back to consciousness, Tora would be surprised at the amount of damage he had sustained.

Tora, arms painted in purple blood from the slashes he had opened up on his foe, deftly evaded the kick and knee aimed towards him with a growl. Lute's immense aura was tough to be around- but the more blood that he drew, the more he felt pressured to attack. The very scent of the Namekian's life essence left Tora invigorated- this bestial fighter was his prey, now.

At least in Tora no Seishin's mind. The youthful martial artist phased behind Lute, slashing at his back. Then, with extreme speed he phased all around the demon king, cutting at him from all angles- under normal circumstances he'd give the move a cliche name, like Tiger Tornado.

In his current predicament? Tora didn't care for cheesy names or fun. His island was on the line. His packs freedom- his own freedom! His life! "Demon King. I offer you one final time- leave this place and never return! If not, I will rip your soul from your lifeless husk, and condemn you to live a life worth living! Stop wasting your power with this... this..." Tora struggled to find the words in his feral state.

"This unnecessary destruction! You don't hold claim to my home, or my friends! Every animal on this island is my family, I'll die before you touch a single hair on one of them!"

The strange mist like aura around him had grown in intensity, exacerbated by his frustration and heightened emotional state.

"I promise you, I'll make your life hell if you don't leave here!"
