Planet: East Quadrant, Kabocha Location: The Omnipotence, Training Room #42 Four days. It had been four days. Four days since his body had been restored. Since Amatricina and he had ventured down to the surface of Kabocha. Since that fateful day, Kamui had resorted to intensive hours of meditation, coupled with sitting in a rejuvenation tank, sleep and eating. His newfound body was new to him, the organic limbs that he now sported proving a feeling rather foreign to him. How it felt to be able to eat unaided, to breathe without issue. To be able to feel the ground beneath his feet. Kamui had taken the past few days easy, as did the demon lord who had accomplished such a seemingly impossible task. The ritual to restore Kamui's form drained Amatricina a great deal of her power, and she very early expressed her desire for rest before resuming training. But now, such a respite was over. It was time to return to training. The Frost Demon was eager to test out his new form, and to test the extents of his new found power. It had been days since the ritual, yet Kamui still felt the demonic magic coursing through his veins, pumping his body with energy. It threatened to exude off his body in waves, only kept at bay by Kamui's willpower, as well as the magical runes tattooed throughout his body. Nonetheless, he was eager to exhaust some of this pent up energy, and to improve himself in the making. Which is why he requested Amatricina's presence, and to interest him in a spar. The Frost Demon now levitated in the center of the training arena, his legs crossed in a lotus position in midair. His eyes were closed and his body radiated a red outlined light as he concentrated on harnessing his energy, awaiting the moment that the Demon Warlord would enter the compound, to accept his offer to spar. Four days, four long and uneventful days. Amatricina did not expect it to take even a single day to recover her strength following her dark ritual, and yet it had taken over two full days before she once more felt in peak fighting form. It irritated her, but did little to diminish her pride at her creation's glorious new form. Already there was much talk among the ship's crew of the incredible transformation of the Frost Demon into warrior that stood among them, tinged with darkness and free from prosthetic or cybernetic augments. The Demon Lord's vast display of hellish power had rightfully sent fear through the native population, making the locals think back to their ancient history as thralls to a demon clan. Presumably their Emperor had reassured them Amatricina was under his command. He was right, mostly. The last few days had been spent mostly in quiet meditation, honing the mind while the body rested. Amatricina had taken to sitting motionless on the bridge of the vessel, hovering at her seat at the Emperor's war council table. She liked unnerving his senior officers, and she especially enjoyed taunting Carambolis' bodyguard Duria. The Saiyan brute had made numerous threats against her when her body was still weening itself off Dark Energy, and the demoness had not been able to summon her full strength. But, now that her full might was laid bare, and the demon more than doubled the Saiyan's own power level, he had quickly grown silent on that matter. When Kamui requested Amatricina's presence, she had expected as such. The Frost Demon had claimed his power was near to Carambolis' own, and Amatricina say this as a worthy first step towards testing her own limits. She knew well enough that Kamui was also itching to put his new body through its paces, to which Amatricina would not disappoint. The door to the training facility slid open with a metallic swish, and armored heels clinked against the titled floor. The demoness walked with a heavy sashay to her hips, hungrily gnawing at the roasted drumstick of some native Kabochan bird. It tasted much like the chickens of Earth, one of the few mortal animals whose name Amatricina new. "So, you finally feel ready for this?" Amatricina said between mouthfuls of succulent meat. "I am surprised by your patience, I expected you to request this match far quicker." She tore off another bite, swallowing after barely chewing at all. "Consider that a compliment, it tells me that you are serious about what I instructed you." The demon finished the last of the meat on the bone, then hungrily chomped that up too, snapping it in half and mashing it into a pulp with her teeth before swallowing. "Just one thing before we begin..." Amatricina said as she focused her magics and clenching her fists. The large gemstones along her armored pauldrons, gauntlets, and belt all lit up with an unholy crimson energy. The rubies did not change visibly, besides now shimmering as if they were eggs filled to the brim with molten lava. The demoness smiled, the floor beneath her buckling slightly under her newfound weight. Amatricina flexed several times, stretching her arms and back before exhaling sharply, two jets of black smoke pouring from her nostrils as she did. "I have weighted my armor greatly with my dark magic. I want to keep this interesting, and minimize damage to this facility." The demoness added casually as she rose in the air. "Let us begin!" She roared out, fangs bared as the battle lust began to flow through her. Amatricina took a wide stance, letting her aura flow forth unbridled to full strength. She cracked her knuckles, then threw her hands out to her sides. The demon breathed out a steady stream of inky black smoke. A gift from a certain android, one she'd assimilated into her body and made a part of her very being. It began to fill the room, a thick miasma that induced debilitating ailments in her foes. "Behold Kamui, my Destron Smoke..." The fire demon said simply, her figure mostly hidden by the thick cloud of nightmarish gas but her curvaceous silhouette still quite clear through the agonizing haze. Amatricina's normally orange eyes began to glow bright with crimson light, as she charged her demonic ki at her pupils. In an instant the demon flexed her muscles, clenching her fists as she awakened the spirit of the ancient creature of hatred she had consumed from the ashes of the Dark Planet. Its power now her own, another portion of her vast might. Then without warning the fire demon charged forward, kicking off the floor and dashing at blinding speed. Twin beams of demonic red ki arced from her eyes searing their way towards her opponent. "Now taste my Burning Gaze!" Amatricina roared, her will steeled for battle. To say he believed Amatricina was an easy opponent would be a blatant lie. Thus, when she entered the training arena, Kamui immediately opened his eyes, uncurling his legs and touching once more upon the ground. His body still resonated with energy, yet it slowly faded as he became aware of Amatricina's presence. Turning to face her, Kamui allowed a small smile to cross his features. He was, for once, pleased to see the Demoness, the hours of conversation shared before them in the past, paired with the events of the ritual having caused them to become fond of each other's company, perhaps due to their shared wickedness, or a never ending hunger for power. Most likely the latter, more so than the former. "You view me in such a negative light. I am no child, dear Amatricina. I am capable of waiting and doing what is good for me. However, at the same time, I decided the time has finally come for us to test our own mettle against each other, and to see the fruits of our labor come to fruition." The Frost Demon said, taking note of Amatricina's rather...voracious appetite when it came to whatever she seemed to be eating. He silently observed the woman as she went through her pre-battle motions, moving to weight her armor down with magic. If he were her, he would not attempt to handicap himself with such weights, even if they did benefit her in the long run. He was more the one to focus on honing technique and progressing his battle tactics rather than his raw strength. But, to each their own. He was simply eager to start this match. And it turned out he didn't have to wait long. Before Kamui knew it, the room was flooding with a seemingly thick black smoke of demonic origin, exuding from her form. The thick miasma hung in the air like a cloak, concealing everything from view. Almost immediately, Kamui summoned a teal colored aura around his own form, meant to serve as a shield or buffer of sorts against the destron gas, as she called it. He knew not of its' origin, but whatever came from the mouth of a demon such as she had intent to harm, and Kamui was not willing to allow himself to become a test subject for her. However, as he defended himself against the first offensive, Amatricina's second offensive rapidly became aware to Kamui, shooting through the air and smashing full force into the Changeling's navel. Although his aura did wonders to soften the blow, he had to admit the attack did hurt slightly, and only served to signify how seriously he would have to take this fight. Perhaps, it was time to regale Amatricina with it. Swiping his hand horizontally in front of him, Kamui applied some of his Ki into the sweep, sending a massive gust of wind across the field in front of him. Such a move would do little more than banish the smoke to the outermost corners of the room, allowing his eyes to once more fully rest upon Amatricina's form. "Impressive, impressive indeed." Kamui praised, his tail swaying back and forth as he praised his opponent. His left hand slowly lowered to rub his navel, the spot where her Burning Gaze had indeed struck his form. A slight redness showed at the point of contact, where an ugly welt was bound to form in a matter of moments. His eyes once more rising to meet hers, Kamui continued to speak. "There once was a moment, on Planet Styx, where you lamented my inability to transform, and desired to see the day where you could witness the transformation of one of my kind. I, for one, wish to regale myself with such a transformation. Allow yourself to be the first person to see me in this form. Please, allow me a moment. I will not take long." Kamui said before assuming a stance. Suddenly, the Frost Demon's aura began to spike outwards, the bright teal coloring shifting to a rather violent magenta, pink electricity crackling along the frame, as if the aura was of a solid foundation. Kamui grimaced as veins began to pop out across his body, his demonic runes glowing bright orange as they appeared to "sear" itself deeper into his skin. Then, before her very eyes, he began to change. Kamui's body began to grow, his horns diminishing in tandem until they all but disappeared inside his cranium. His Bio Armor began to expand outwards, taking on a pure white color, while the red orbs laden throughout his bio armor shifted in color from their natural ruby red coloration to a deep blue. His eyes shifted and grew, glowing yellow in color. And finally, his bio armor shifted around his body so that it looked more like full body armor then anything else. When he was finally done, his aura dissipated around him. A seven foot tall Frost Demon of imposing appearance, Kamui swept an arm around his body. "Now, let us truly begin." He said, before he moved upon her. Utilizing the rather rare technique known as Time Skip, Kamui skipped forward a tenth of a second, his body vaulting through space and time so that to Amatricina, it would seem as if the Frost Demon suddenly spawned in front of her, from seemingly nowhere. Thrusting a fist forward with little to no warning, Kamui sought to drive his fingers into one of Amatricina's many pressure points, the Changeling infusing Ki into her body at the moment of contact. The attack itself would not only prove to inflict quite the great deal of physical pain, but would prove to disrupt her equilibrium if the infused Ki did what it was supposed to do, which was disrupt her Ki flow and warp it. Whether the attack itself warranted success of not, Kamui would not pause in his assault. Skipping into time once more, Kamui would suddenly appear behind Amatricina once more, his rather large tail this time seeking to wrap around her legs and lift her into the air. At this point, the transformed Frost Demon would thrust his left hand forward to unleash a rather powerful Ki wave upon her, threatening to engulf her in burning energies. Amatricina watched her opponent with eyes narrowed as he dispelled her Destron Smoke, the thick miasma that wafted around her forced to the far corners of the training room by Kamui's pressure. His aura flared a brilliant green, and the Frost Demon showed no sign of ill effect from her attack. The Fire Demon snorted out a brief gout of flame from her nostrils in mild irritation. She did note to herself however, Kamui claimed to be near as powerful as Carmbolis, and his strength had likely only been augmented further by her dark magics. She was flattering herself if she believed this would be as easy as the Battle for Styx, especially after willingly handicapping herself with her magic weights. Amatricina flashed a fanged grin as her opponent began to speak. "I was not the only one lamenting your inability to transform. Not the way I recall it that is..." Her tone was sarcastic, almost mocking, though the truth was she did desire to feel her creation's full strength. To see if he truly matched the Kabochan Emperor's power. The demoness braced herself as her opponent's aura flared violently, lightning crackling from his unbound energy as Kamui began to grow and change before her. What she hadm't expected afterwards, was Kamui's newfound speed. No sooner than a fraction of a second after uttering his declaration, the transformed warrior was upon her, striking Amatricina with his finger before grabbing her with his powerful tail and blasting her point blank. Amatricina reacted as fast as she could, her own demonic aura flaring to life as Kamui's finger struck its mark. Her Infernal Resilience was vast, and as a Fire Demon she could stave off most debilitating injuries... for a time anyways. As Kamui unleashed his ki blast the demoness opened her mouth wide, it glowed with crimson energy as she fired a Chou Makousen at her foe. The beam of energy swept from right to left across the arena, insuring her foe would not escape unscathed. As her scanning energy beam finished, and before Kamui's ki blast impacted, Amatricina spread her arms wide and summoned a dense barrier of demonic ki. It crackled with fel black lightning, its surface giving off a molten appearing as her crimson ki melded with tinges of Dark Energy to create the shielding barrier. "Demonic Barrier!" She cried out as the sphere was erected around her, absorbing her opponent's energy attack wholesale. The Fire Demon was left unscathed, though panting slightly. She hadn't expected Kamui to be capable of so much, so quickly. Amatricina remained hovering in the air, looking down upon her foe. "An excellent display." She admitted to her adversary, the truth in her words despite her usually callous tone in battle. "You were right Kamui, your transformed body is magnificent... and I can already tell it nears the Emperor's own strange transformation in raw strength." Amatricina clenched her fists, they crackled with ominous black lightning as her aura began to shimmer and surge more violently outward. "But you are not the only one with such power here!" The demon boasted, straining herself as a vain throbbed at her temple and her teeth clenched hard. Amatricina's breathing grew labored and heavy, grunts of exertion clear as she pushed her body to the limits. She had not attempted this anywhere by in isolated meditation on Poco Poco Volcano, this would be her maiden voyage in the heat of battle. Kamui could feel the ruinous malevolence begin to coalesce around the Demon Lord. Amatricina roared, an almost feral battle cry as she willed force vast quantities of Dark Energy from her home realm. It poured into this dimension through small gashes that appeared in reality, wounds in space itself she tore open with her dark magic. The Dark Energy poured forth like blood from a wound, flowing into the demon and being absorbed into her body. After a brief moment the small dimension rifts sealed shut, Amatricina no longer mentally straining herself to maintain them. "HHHHYYYAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" She roared out as her body was enveloped in pure darkness. Her silhouette began to change slightly, her horns sharpening to grimmer points at their ends. The demon's already long crimson hair extended down to the small of her back, and her already buxom and curvaceous figure was further accentuated. Her curves swelling to even more grandiose proportions as her musculature gained new, more toned definition. In a flash of obsidian light the darkness was dispelled, leaving Amatricina visible to the naked eye once more. Her attire had changed noticeably, her armored gauntlets now sporting long shoulderless black sleeves and the metal belt at her waist having grown to form an armored mail skirt that did reached half way down her thighs. Most notably, the Fire Demon's hallmark red and gold color scheme had darkened considerably. Where once her armor was a vibrant crimson shade, it was now obsidian black, and the once gilded trimmings and ornamentation to her attire had become a rich, deeper shade of crimson. Amatricina breathed out heavily, almost a sigh as she finished. She placed a hand at her hip, lovingly feeling its newfound prominence as she silently admired her own demonically enhanced beauty. Her gaze quickly returned to Kamui, and she spoke with total confidence and self centered pride. "I had hoped Carambolis would be the first to witness this new transformation of mine. I call it my Darkness Demon form, though you may call it as you like." Amatricina flashed a fanged smile, her canines had grown slightly longer and more fanged like a serpent's. "There were legends among my race, ancient myths that I now see to be fact. That we too could ascend beyond our body's natural limits. I have rediscovered the way, by training my body to lose its innate dependence on Dark Energy to operate at full strength. I can now harness my realm's ruinous power to augment my form instead!"Amatricina let out a haughty cackle, already channeling more crimson energy at her eyes. She dashed forward towards her opponent, twin searing beams of energy hurtling towards him as the demoness rushed Kamui with speed and strength increased threefold. Her power felt boundless, beyond anything she'd ever known. Augmented beyond the limits of what her kind thought possible through intensive training, and the wrathful spirit she had consumed. Even now she felt its vestiges of spiteful power fueling her to ever greater heights of might. Let the Galaxy Burn! For Amatricina the Avaricious had ascended. Kamui found himself stricken with surprise as Amatricina's reflexes proved truer than he had initially believed. Not only had she managed to defend accurately against his swift attacks, even with Time Skip in motion, she had managed to retaliate, the energy wave that she released from her mouth washing over Kamui with intense fury. Were it not for Kamui's protective aura and Bio Armor, he was sure he would've found himself grievously wounded from such a display of power. Pushing through the intense energy wave, the gargantuan Frost Demon stood once more before Amatricina, a few meters of distance poised between them. His giant tail smacking against the ground, Kamui crossed his arms and made it clear his intent was to wait, once he had heard of Amatricina's impending transformation. He too, was interested in seeing the woman's intense strength. "So, you have intent to perform as well. How flattering." The Frost Demon commented, his voice slightly distorted by the Bio Armor mouthpiece that stood fitted over his mouth. And, it was quickly proven that he was correct to wait it out. For what he saw next impressed the Frost Demon to no end. The woman seemed capable of opening rifts within this dimension itself. He had seen such a display on Planet Styx, although he admitted that the woman appeared weaker then. Now, she was opening several smaller ones, leaking Dark Demonic Energy into this realm, like rivers just ready to be lapped up greedily by her form. And in her doing so, she began to change, her body reacting to the intense amount of dark energy she possessed. "Interesting...." Kamui commented, observing her finished form with great interest, his yellow eyes glowing brighter as they narrowed. She was stronger in this form, possibly even stronger than his own current power in this form. He was capable of pushing his power in the form further, but not yet. He wanted to see how well he could fare at his current form, against her current form. As she launched herself forward, her eyes lit up before she shot another blast of those infernal eye lasers from her eyes. Fast moving, piercing projectiles. He raised his hand once more and let the energy beams burrow into his gloved palm. It burned, yes, but it was a bearable pain. He allowed Amatricina to approach him, only acting when she drew in close. Skipping forward in time, Kamui would suddenly spawn besides Amatricina, his knee already raised to slam into her midsection with great force. Skipping in time once more, to her Kamui would appear once more directly in front of her, his pointer and middle fingers poised together as he reached out to tap Amatricina's forehead lightly. This time, his touch wouldn't serve to hurt her, but would once again flood her body with foreign Ki, this Ki seeking to once more disrupt her equilibrium and set her Ki flow off balance. Rearing his left fist back, Kamui would then follow up with such a light tap with a devastatingly forceful hook punch across the face, such a blow powerful enough to send the demoness flying. "I intend to do more than perform." Amatricina said through her hellish grin, her dark miasma wafting off her like a haze as she moved. She grimaced as her opponent merely took the brunt of her attack and stopped it with an open palm. When Kamui appeared before her, it caught the demon off guard and gave her little time to react. The wind was knocked from her lungs as the towering Frost Demon's knee slammed into the demoness' gut. "Bastard!" Amatricina yelped through the impact, gritting her teeth and shrugging through the blow. When Kamui appeared again before her, she was ready. Amatricina felt her opponent's ki flood into her, she laughed in her opponent's face at the attack. "You forget who gave you that energy, child! Perhaps I should just take it back!" The Fire Demon's words like venom as her demonic aura rebuked the other combatant's attack, drawing in Kamui's ki and absorbing it into the demoness' being. Amatricina licked her lips at morsel of energy, then opened her mouth wide and unleashed a great bout of hellfire at her opponent at point blank range. When Kamui responded with his fist, Amatricina was sent careening into the ground like a burning meteor. She slammed into the arena's floor, warping and sheering meters of thick alloy before coming to a halt carving carved a deep trench along the floor. When the demoness rose to her feet, her face was contorted in pure wrath, the time for games was over. Amatricina let out another demonic howl, drawing force mass amounts of Dark Energy into her being. Her aura shifted from a burning crimson to a malevolent onyx tinged with ruby embers. Hardening, almost visibly, into a malleable barrier of near impenetrable demonic ki. "Test yourself Kamui, before the Unyielding Flame." Amatricina said simply, before opening her mouth wide again. She pooled demonic energy into her throat, before firing it in a deadly beam of molten ki that hurtled across the damaged arena towards her armored foe. A foolish notion, to believe his own Ki could prove to destabilize hers. Her own demonic energy now ran through his veins, thus debunking the usual "foreign Ki comes into contact with your own Ki" theory that has worked so well in the past. In fact, it just seemed to reinvigorate her and spur her on forward. How annoying. Nonetheless, his follow-through proved to hit true, knocking the demoness across the training grounds. She was another one of those....ones. A fighter who could take beatings just as well as he could dish them out. Mark I proved to be such a combatant, capable of taking punishment after punishment, while also dishing out his own. Demon King Lute proved another, in the extreme sense. The two duked it out for what seemed like hours (although it was most definitely not that long), to the point of both being on the fringes of energy. And here was Amatricina, another such example. Kamui grunted as he moved to swipe the last vestiges of her Evil Flame from his Bio Armor. Once more, she had proved the use of flame proved to be a staple of the Fire Demon. However, the Ki infused fire was proving rather difficult to deal with, the intense heat superheating his bio armor, his ever present aura proving the only defense against it. And to add insult to injury, Amatricina's assault wasn't done. Fast approaching was another blast of molten, fire infused Ki. Kamui knew that he truly tried, he could've avoided such an attack with Time Skip, since her attacks were too swift to dodge with his already impressive speed. However, Time Skip was a technique he had yet to truly master, and as such was difficult to use in reaction to something else at this moment. At least against such fast attacks such as this. Thus, he deemed it fit not to experiment in such a high stakes duel. Thus, Kamui hiked up his aura to act as a protective buffer and crossed his arms across his body in an 'X' formation. The blast once more washed over him, striking through his aura, burning his flesh and Bio Armor. However, the brunt of the blast was absorbed by his aura, preventing further injury. Yet, the intensity of her blows struck with the firepower of a truck, and the lingering effects were most likely insane. If he couldn't take her down quickly, he was done for. So, he had to shut down his opponent now...before it was too late. Using the smoke created as a byproduct of Amatricina's blast as cover, Kamui once more utilized skipped through time itself, appearing in front of Amatricina, his fist already moving forward to jab her in the throat swiftly, sending a shock of energy through a pressure point in her neck. If Amatricina attempted to counterattack this time, she would find herself quickly foiled by the Changeling for he utilized yet another Time Skip to warp himself several feet behind her, a large Ki orb already materialized in his hand. Clamping a hand over the Ki Orb, Kamui allowed the unstable energy to shoot around in his clamped hand for a moment before unleashing it, discharging a massive bowl of energy capable of engulfing his opponent fully in white/yellow hot energy. Amatricina growled in fury as she watched Kamui emerge largely unscathed from her attack. It was hard to land any lasting damage on him, and she was fast burning through her reserves of ki. No matter, the demon thought, her enemy would break in time. She would grind her creation into the dirt slowly, if need be. Detestably persistent, she thought to herself, and by the time she finished her thought the Frost Demon was already upon her. The demoness raised her arm in defense, preparing to smash Kamui out of her way as he went for her throat. His attack struck first, smashing into her throat and causing the demon to spit up hot, molten blood. It seared the floor like caustic acid, burning small holes in the tiled floors. "GGAAHHHKK!" Amatricina made an unbecoming noise as her windpipe nearly collapsed; when she regained her composure she felt something was off... had the strike been more debilitating than expected? Her opponent shifted out of her way before she could retaliate, having accomplished what he set out to do. The Demon Lord rubbed a hand to her throat, then wiped away the blood from her lips. When she shifted around to face her foe, her eyes went wide as she found him charging a massive blast of ki point blank. Amatricina merely scowled, raising her arms in self defense and resigning herself to taking the brunt of the blast head on. The energy washed over the demon, and she slowly waded forward through it holding her arms crossed in front of her. As she did so Amatricina drew in some of the energy into her body, rather than be simply hammered by it like an unrelenting wave. It was too much to siphon all of it, but she managed to gorge heavily on the energy wave, replenishing much of her depleted stamina. Her feet slowly plodding forward step by step against the Frost Demon's attack, eyes locked forward in steadfast resolve.. When she reached her foe's position, his feet planted as he fired the massive bowl of energy, Amatricina stuck her head out of the blast as if she was surfaces from underwater for a breath of fresh air. As she opened her mouth, instead of inhaling, the demoness exhaled another merciless cloud of her Destron Miasma onto her foe. The potent fog of hellish smoke pouring over Kamui even as his blast fought to drive Amatricina back. Once her opponent had ceased his attack and paused to deal with her miasma, the Fire Demon snarled, fangs bared as she clenched her fists. "Enough!" She roared in defiance, dashing forward to try and simply pummel Kamui into submission with her fists. Amatricina unleashed a volley of furious punches, following them up by attempting to smash her opponent into the floor with a brutal head a savage headbutt from her black crown of horns. How annoying. Amatricina was a resourceful one, he would give her that. Capable to react reasonably well to anything of worth that Kamui was able to dish out, no matter the distance between them. A testament to Amatricina's skill as well as Kamui's own inexperience in the nuances of the technique he was using. Not to mention, that this transformation was new to him as well. As a result, he had to admit that he was more than rusty. But, that was the point of this training, wasn't it? To push his limits against someone much more capable of tackling him at his best. Someone who was very likely to best him. It was a learning experience, and one had to admit that the Frost Demon was very eager to learn. Kamui smirked with satisfaction as he felt his Ki blast connect, the unrelenting energy wave of Ki washing over her body and her surroundings, the very training room shaking on impact and shuddering as it obliterated everything in its' path. He knew Amatricina wouldn't be killed by such an attack by this, but at least she would.... What?Imagine Kamui's surprise when she poked her head free from his wide cone like energy wave, and produced her dark miasma once more. He was so stricken from surprise that he was a fraction too late in his reaction to her poisonous mist, the Destron Gas being successfully inhaled a few times by the Frost Demon before he dispelled the gas from in front of him with another gust of powerful wind. Coughing violently, the Frost Demon could feel an uncomfortable heat within his body and throat, as if he had inhaled liquid fire. It was brewing within his body. "Damn you!" He cursed out loud as he coughed, trying to expel the gas from his throat, to no avail. In a fit of uncharacteristic anger, the Frost Demon roared as he moved to block and parry her attacks, intercepting and deflecting the majority of her blows with surprising swiftness. His aura flared around the pair of them, its' oppressive nature pushing out upon Amatricina like a violent wind. As Amatricina reared her head back into a headbutt, Kamui capitalized upon such an opportunity. Skipping through time, Kamui closed the distance between him and Amatricina, his fists moving as if they had a life of their own. In an instant, Kamui was unleashing a blazing flurry of punches upon his opponent's pressure points with devastating force and accuracy. At the end of the rush, Kamui swept his hand outwards to shop Amatricina horizontally across the chest with every bit of force he could possibly muster, moving to send her flying away from him. "I am indeed quite damned." Amatricina purred back in response as her opponent coughed and sputtered after inhaling lungfuls of her toxic miasma. Already she knew its debilitating effects would be coursing through Kamui's body like a fiendish plague. Finally, some display of mortality out of her opponent. The demon was beginning to think this battle was going to go the way of her fight with the Emperor, her opponent just manipulating time with their raw speed until eventually she succumbed. It was refreshing to know her opponent was not invincible. Amatricina was however, caught off guard when the Frost Demon's power flared forward to new heights of strength, his aura managing to diminish hers with is unbridled nature. The Demon Lord's wrath grew, and in her battle lust her own power swelled even against this contest of raw power. The Spirit of Hatred within her only growing stronger within her black heart at the ailments she inflicted and the damage she had received. Pride may Amatricina's greatest sin, but it was Wrath that carried her through battle with its savage might. As Kamui unleashed his endless volley of punches, the demoness was more than prepared. She moved with equal speed, knocking aside fists with her own and rebuking her adversary's every assault. The ones that made it past her defenses didn't so much as land a scratch on her. Her Unvanquished Flame still burning bright, the malevolence of the demon momentarily beyond what Kamui was capable of harming with such a series of attacks. Amatricina gritted herself, having lost her appetite for words as she knocked aside blow after blow. The waves of pressure as fists and forearms clashed and collided echoing throughout the chamber like miniature sonic booms. Blow after blow, only succeeding in angering the demon further. Kamui's final attack however, struck true. It impacted Amatricina hard in the chest, slipping deftly past her guard and connecting with unexpected force. It sent her hurtling across the room, slamming into a wall leaving a large indent against its once immaculate form. Amatricina stepped out casually, cracking her neck as she did. "Is that all you have Kamui? I expected more." No sooner had she uttered the words than she felt a sharp pain in her chest. The demon winced slightly, trying not to show signs of injury. Her opponent had done something to her with that strike, something internal. Amatricina gritted her teeth, she would need resort to magic for the time being. She didn't want to chance further injuring whatever caused the aching throb in her chest. Magic, thankfully, did not draw upon ki in the way her other techniques did. It was channeled through the mind and spirit, not the body. Amatricina rushed forward towards Kamui, pausing when she was only a few feet away. "Witness my Agonizing Gaze!" She commanded, the words a spell to compel her opponent against their whims. The demon opened her eyes wide, a brilliant flash of hellish crimson light projecting from them at her foe. It was a malevolent spell, designed to send shooting pain in through eyes before traveling down into her opponent's nerves across their body. The effects were quite crippling, with only the strongest able to withstand the unbearable agony created should they be unable to otherwise remove its effects. She was able to predict his movements? How was this possible? He was moving through time itself! This wasn't simply a matter of being fast, this woman shouldn't be able to defend against him, or even know from where he was attacking! It frustrated him to know end, and this was only exemplified as she defended against his every attack, only falling victim to his final blow, which sent her reeling. But even that had little effect as Amatricina rose once more. Then there was that agonizing stare, the likes of which sent a ripple through Kamui's body. His body immediately seized up with near agonizing pain, the very movement of his muscles shooting waves of pain throughout his body. It was enough to make one pass out right there. Amatricina's magic was proving quite the annoyance to deal with, and was giving her the advantage in this bout. However, he could hardly give up here. Not when Amatricina hadn't felt the true extent of his wrath yet. Roaring in anger, Kamui's aura once more flared around him and he vaulted forward, utilizing yet another Time Skip allowing him to appear in front of Amatricina. He made a move to punch her, yet just as he raised his fist, he utilized yet another Time Skip to, sending him behind her, then another to send him once more in front of her, this time moving to complete his punch, planting a fist in the center of her face. In tandem with such an offensive, Kamui would plant his hand on her stomach, before charging a Ki blast to release into her stomach. The Fire Demon grinned to herself, a haughty grin of self satisfaction as she saw her opponent struggling against the Dark Magic of her Agonizing Gaze. This contest was over, she need only bleed Kamui out and let him crash against her as her debilitating magics did their work. It seemed he was too strong to be completely paralyzed by the attack, a testament to his mental fortitude and her own demonic energy now coursing through his veins. "Few mortals have survived that spell... for long." She said simply, bracing herself for the Frost Demon's counter attack. As Kamui charged her she was ready, or so she thought. "Too slow!" The demoness growled, slashing out with her clawed talons as her opponent materialized in front of her, succeeding only in striking the air as he vanished. "#$@&%*!" Amatricina swore out in her native language, the harsh Makaioshin indecipherable to those without extensive knowledge of the Demon Realm. Her agile opponent appeared behind her, and Amatricina spun around, unleashing a savage kick and again colliding with nothing but air. She swore again, whirling around only to feel Kamui's fist connect with her face. The Demon Lord barely had time to curse his name before her foe unleashed another point blank energy blast on her stomach. Again, for the second time that fight Amatricina did not so much as budge from the attack, her Unvanquished Flame burning bright as her black aura of demonic fire absorbed the brunt of the damage. Amatricina drew in small vestiges of energy from the attack, siphoning the last lingering morsels of demonic ki she could before her Unvanquished Flame burned out. As it did she stood there, angered but unphased, her aura shifting from black back into its normal crimson hue, losing the otherworldly durability it once held. Amatricina responded as she had before, opening her mouth and unleashing a debilitating attack of her own. This time another gout of hellfire erupted from her maw, the demonic flames infused with dark magics to wounded even beings resilient to flames such as herself. Amatricina used the attack to leap away, creating space between herself and Kamui. "Twice you fall for that tactic my child. I pray you do not do so again." She said coldly, drawing forth her aura. Again Amatricina's power flared, tearing open small dimensional rifts around her and drawing in tendrils of Dark Energy to be absorbed into her body. Not as dramatic as when she transformed, the action took only a fraction of a second. Nonetheless, when she finished the display the demoness felt, and looked visibly refreshed. Her aura tinged with the obsidian glow of Dark Energy, the chaotic power now supplementing her natural reservoir of demonic ki. The Fire Demon took a defensive stance, waiting for her opponent to make the next move. Kamui was on borrowed time, and the two of them knew it. Amatricina need only play out the fight slow and bide her time. How frustrating this must have been.
He hated the way this battle was shifting. He felt himself losing control over it, and he hated the feeling. However, this all boiled down to an unfamiliarity, and once again, hubris. His form was imperfect at best, his battle senses compromised to a sense of familiarity with his cybernetic form, the likes of which allowed him to rely on so much more and run so many more calculations. In this form, all he had were his battle instincts, which were rusty at best. Thus, the lack of control he felt over the situation was natural.
For he was barely comfortable in his own skin, while Amatricina had been in the thick of battle between her own kind for generations. It was simple to derive who would win this battle from a logical standpoint. Amatricina was bound to win. Bound to win unless Kamui could turn the tables, and try something new.
He had to craft new attack patterns. His were becoming too predictable. There was only so many times he could use the same Time Skip attack maneuvers before his opponent fully adapted, especially with her reactionary speed being as impressive as it was. He had to switch things up, or risk being dispatched too quickly.
The wave of demonic hellfire rained upon Kamui, dousing him in fire and forcing him to roar and rear his head back. He held back his head and screamed, as if gone mad with rage. His aura flared around him, a brilliant magenta color as it send shockwaves rippling in the air around him, the concussive force sending tremors through the ground. "I WILL KILL YOU! I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL KILL YOU!" He roared, his very muscles seizing up, sending waves of pain through his system. The burns only added to that, searing through his Bio Armor and to the skin beneath. With a roar of anger he would charge forward, utilizing yet another Time Skip to skip forward so that he would appear right before Amatricina. Rearing back a fist, he made a full move to punch her in the face, before vanishing once more.
Less than a split second after, a searing hot Ki blast would smash into Amatricina's frame from above.
"Just kidding." Kamui said, before skipping forward in Time once more. His tail reaching out, it sought to wrap around Amatricina's legs and hoist her into the air before smashing her into the ground once more. Kamui doubled that up with another offensive, hoisting her up once more and moving to punch her in the gut with her upside down, if he managed to hold her for that long, that was.

Kamui's behavior seemed for frantic as his injuries began to take hold of him. Amatricina was like a shark, having smelled blood in the water. It heightened her bloodlust and battle frenzy further. Her own aura flared and clashed violently against him, as if their own energies were locked in a duel as were their masters. "SWEAR TO NO GOD MY CHILD!" The demon roared back, half mad with frenzied hatred. "I WILL TEAR THEM FROM THE SKIES ONE BY ONE MYSELF!" The Fire Demon hurled herself at her foe, claws bared as she went for the throat. As their fists were about to collide, Kamui vanished, and in a moment the demon knew she had been deceived. She roared in anger, her Dark Miasma pouring from her throat like vomit as she let out her angered cry. When her opponent appeared above the demon could only raise her arms in self defense, taking his surprise attack head on. It wracked her body with pain, vestiges of demonic energy seemingly augmenting the attack against her. The demoness responded in turn be raising a hand, her clawed fingers slicing through the very air itself and gashing open a rift between dimensions. Dark Energy seeped through like a wound, bathing the Fire Demon in its ruinous black glow. Amatricina absorbed the energy greedily, already feeling rejuvenated and fresh for battle as her realm's power mended her ailments. Amatricina swore again in her Makaioshin tongue though, feeling the sting of the deception more than the burning pain of the wounds it left behind. Her dark cleansing had alleviated her more pressing injuries, but did little for the mounting fatigue and sustained damage her body had taken. It mattered little, she knew herself to be by far the more durable of the two fighters. She had proven as much with her sheer resilience in battle. When Kamui's tail swung outward it didn't so much as bruise when it slammed into the demon, and she grabbed it with both arms. His follow up punch to her get however, struck hard. But the Demon Lord help an iron will, unyielding as it was relentless. She merely gritted her teeth and narrowed her gaze as she shrug off the brunt of the blow. Her body like an immovable object throughout much of the fight. "Enough of your tricks!" The demoness roared, sinking her claws into the soft tissue of Kamui's tail, attempting to fling him over her body in an arch and slam him into the ground. She followed up her counter attack with a point blank Burning Gaze, once more focusing the wrath of her signature technique upon her foe. It seemed his little ploy had worked upon his opponent, at least to a degree. Amatricina was an opponent unlike any other, her adept ability at drawing upon otherwordly energy allowing her an almost limitless reserve of stamina, something that Kamui could neither emulate or properly shut off. At this rate, his defeat was coming closer and closer. At this point, he wasn't even angry about the fact. but was more focused on ensuring that this defeat wasn't her simply dominating him.
He wanted to at least prove to himself that he could compare, even if she had consistently held the upper hand.
Kamui grunted in pain as Amatricina dug her claws into his tail, and ultimately allowed himself to be lifted into the air, seeing the strategic value in trickery, and making her believe she held the upper hand in terms of strength. Being slammed into the ground didn't hurt, to be completely honest. At this point, the Changeling was so heavily armored that attacks like that would have to have a lot more force to truly hurt him. However, that isn't to say he wasn't in pain. The injuries he suffered before burned something fierce, and the slam just served to remind him of that pain. On the flip side, it only made the performance more convincing that Amatricina had truly winded and stunned him with that attack, so that when Amatricina prepared her point blank Ki blast, Kamui was ready. Turning on his back suddenly, the large Frost Demon threw up a single hand, using his exceptional Ki control to summon a Ki blast in a manner of moments, releasing it so that the condensed magenta sphere of energy would collide with Amatricina's fierce Burning Gaze, the two energy blasts colliding with each other in such close range, before discharging outwards in a large explosion that engulf the both of them...

"What!?" Amatricina cried out as Kamui rapidly shifted positions, flipping over and firing a blast of energy back at the demoness. She snarled in fury, already committed to her assault. The Fire Demon's gaze burned into the magenta blast of energy, trying to overwhelm it through brute force. The tactic did not succeed, and the energy blast detonated violently, sending the demon hurtling backwards. Her arms crossed in front of her, Amatricina guarded as much of the damage as she could. Smoke drifting off her as she flew back. Slowing herself as her armored heels dug into the floor of the arena in a shower of hellish sparks, the demon spat blood from her cut lip onto the floor below. It boiled and sizzled like magma, burning a small hole in the tiled floor. "Bold..." She said, irritated Kamui could continue to put up such an offensive. The demon winced in pain, slightly dazed from the concussive blast of the attack. She shook her head, trying to shake free the throbbing pain in her skull. It only agitated the demoness more, and Amatricina threw herself at Kamui. She roared, throwing her arms up in the air as fiery energy radiated from her eyes. "Bind to my will!" She commanded, and tendrils of Dark Energy shot forth from beneath the demon's cloak. As if the underside of the garment was a pocket dimension all its own, the inky black tentacles of magic and spite flung themselves at Kamui like serpents, trying to bind his limbs and bog down his movement. She followed in hot pursuit, armored talons bared as the demon slashed and clawed at her opponent with savage fury. Once more, it seemed trickery had gotten the best of Amatricina, resulting in yet another successful counter, as dangerous at it seemed to him. He was at least managing to stay away from the most lethal parts of her techniques, and was serving to anger her as well. If he could keep up such onslaughts, he would at least be able to drive her to a near breaking point before he himself fell to her. His body continued to burn and shudder as pain wracked his body, however not enough to make him lose focus. As Amatricina casted her threads that attached to the Changeling's body he felt it attaching to his flesh, forming a tether between himself and her, tying themselves to his muscles. Now, on top of everything else that was happening to him thus far, it seemed as if the demon warlord had a method meant to bog down the Changeling and keep him from being so quick on the response with his evasive maneuvers. But, for these binds to truly hold him, Amatricina would have to try a lot harder. As she neared close, his fangs and claws bared, Kamui allowed her to draw uncomfortably close, her claws nearing his body, before utilizing a Time Skip, for the first time defensively, to dodge her attack, rearing his body back and moving around her. To Amatricina, however, it would most likely prove to be confusing as to how he was able to avoid her attack. For one moment, he was there, and the next he wasn't. Appearing behind her, Kamui swiftly brought a horizontal chop down upon her neck, the downward motion bringing along intense force and momentum upon the pressure point in the back of her neck. Moving swiftly to follow up, Kamui would place his other hand upon her stomach, as if moving to throw her. However, as his moved to toss her, he charged a Ki blast in the palm of his hand, moving to blast her the stomach as he swiped his hand outwards, the Ki blast acting as a rather dangerous propeller to send her flying across the arena. Amatricina slashed and struck nothing, again enraged by her opponent's ability to deftly avoid her every attack. For all the speed her Darkness Demon form had granted her, Kamui was still faster in spite of his injuries. Her opponent appeared again behind her, and the demoness snarled in fury but was unable to move quickly enough as her foe's hand smashed down on the back of her neck. His hand struck flesh, and the demon didn't so much as flinch. Completely shrugging off the impact, Amatricina turned only to find her opponent's palm in her stomach. Her gaze narrowed on Kamui, for a split second their eyes locked before the flash of light from his ki blast immersed the demoness in blindling light. Rather than be sent flying from the blast, Amatricina remained rooted in place. Teeth gritted, her arms out in front of her she struggled against the energy wave as it pressed into her. It was excruciating holding the attack back, and the fire demon bled heavily from her wounds. Her molten blood splashing like caustic acid, melting into the floor was she struggled against the attack "Ennoouugghh... Kamui!" She roared through her teeth, determination driving the ascended demon to ever greater feats of resilience. In one swift motion Amatricina fired her own demonic energy wave from her hands, overwhelming Kamui's blast and redirecting it back at him. At the same time the Demon Lord fired another Burning Gaze from her eyes, the twin lances of ruby ki soaring in concert with the reflected attack. The three projectiles detonated as they reached Kamui, and Amatricina was left panting, gripping her dislocated shoulder before wrenching it back in place with a wince. She couldn't see her foe in the smoke cloud from the explosion, she didn't even know if her attacks had hit. Kamui's tenacity and speed had proven her biggest hurdle in this bout between warriors. Amatricina raised her good arm, hand outstretched as she manipulated the tendrils of Dark Energy that bound her opponent. Her hand glowed with ruinous black energy, and the demon's eyes radiated a familiar fiery light as she infused ever more Dark energy into her spell. Perhaps that would be sufficient to bind her foe. He could feel the immense pain welling inside him. He definitely had organ damage, that much was clear. His muscles flared with pain, his lungs burned with every breath. He was fading quickly, his eyes beginning to lose focus. His power level fluctuated as his hold and control over his Ki began to falter. But he could not falter now. Not when there was so much left...not when he was so close. Amatricina's counter and attack of her own lit up the sky as the Frost Demon in turn felt himself hurtling back, his body crumbling under the pressure of Amatricina's last ditch blasts. They were both hitting a wall, hard. Both of them at the extent of their power. The only test now was how many times they could smack against that wall before falling unconscious. A rage burned inside of him. A fire that could not be slaked by water, by defeat. He could not fall like this. Even if it was his fate to fall before the Demon Lord, he was going to make her suffer for it, even if it was the last thing he ever did. Rising slowly from his fallen position amongst the black smoke that arose as a result of her last offensive, Kamui's flaring magenta aura once more banished the cloud of smoke that permeated the arena in which housed their bout. All of his energy was going into one final attack. If he lost this attack, he lost the battle. His muscles bulged, his aura sparked around him. Everything rested on this. I WILL ERADICATE YOU!" The giant Frost Demon roared as concussive energy was sent out in shockwaves around him, the very ground rumbling under his massive power spike. It seemed that even at this level of injury, the power threshold for Kamui's kind continued and continued to grow. Kamui's species were truly the pinnacle of durability among mortals, capable of coming back time and time again, intent to continue a battle where a normal man would have fallen ten times already. Rushing forward, Kamui skipped forward in time once more, appearing in front of her. His body moving forward with a life of its' own, Kamui sought to sock Amatricina right across the face with a devastating right hook, the likes of which were capable of sending her flying across the stage. Once more, the Changeling's energy burst open like a dam, as the Frost Demon outstretched both of his hands, pouring his energy into one final burst of power. Rearing his hands back to charge, the Changeling waited a moment or two before thrusting his hands outwards, shooting powerful spheres of energy with the recoil power of a high powered gun, each discharge of energy with the accompanying booming sound of a cannon being fired. Time and time again, Kamui's arms smashed back with recoil as he sent barrage after barrage of energy spheres bombarding his opponent, threatening to absolutely devastate his training partner. Amatricina stood panting, nursing her aching wounds as she watched the smoking cloud from her explosive counterattack. She could still feel Kamui's power level, so she knew he hadn't been knocked unconscious or forced out of his transformation. The effort to redirect the attack prior had taken a lot out of her, and the demoness took these precious moments to gather her strength, recovering as best she could. Her wounds continued to bleed, her body drained and debilitated by her opponent. She didn't know how much longer she could keep going in truth. Amatricina had exhausted herself to the point she couldn't muster the strength to open a dimensional rift and try to rejuvenate herself with Dark Energy. When Kamui's aura flared and banished the smoke it was the last thing the demon expected. The fire demon cursed aloud, watching as her opponent's strength bounded forth unbridled in a last ditch display of raw power. She lacked the strength to avoid the attack, not even so much as trying. The wounded demon merely raised her arms to shield her face, slowly trudging forward as Kamui unleashed volley after volley of energy blasts upon her. They landed around the demon like artillery shells on the battlefield. Scores of energy blasts impacting her and exploding in a dazzling light show of destruction. Amatricina dropped to her knees, barely able to stand. It was the second greatest pain she'd felt in her life, rivaled only by Carambolis' Helix Beam. When at last the seemingly endless barrage finished, Amatricina was still standing, albeit barely. She grinned a cocky grin, beginning to chuckle to herself. Her chuckle turned to raucous laughter as she realized she'd endured the attack. The elation of the revelation was unreal, and Amatricina's stomach hurt as she cackled maniacally to herself half from the pain. "It's over..." The demon stated simply, continuing to slowly walk to Kamui as her own aura flared out in one final violent display. Black streaks of lightning crackling with Dark Energy from her aura, arcing into the ground around her. Her burning aura erupting like a raging wildfire for one brief instant as Amatricina drew in her remaining reserves of strength. As she approached Kamui, the demon grinned ear to ear, locking her gaze on her opponent. "A valiant effort my child." She said dryly, before raising her good arm and firing a large, nameless blast of demonic energy at her foe point blank. If Kamui found a way to dodge the attack, Amatricina would be amazed. The exertion needed was great, taking a heavy toll on Amatricina's reserves of strength. The injuries she'd sustained made even the normally simple act of drawing forth her ki a grueling nightmare. It didn't matter, the fighting would be over soon.
