Sol System Coordinates 10,40,57,64,89,43 Just outside the rings of Saturn There was one thought, perhaps decision, that the Emperor was struggling to make on his time travelling from his home world to the given coordinates: Was this a trap, a challenge, or a query? Whoever the being was that had attacked Kamui had been quite strong, that was never a question. He wouldn't take on subordinates who didn't have something to offer and in the Changeling's case, it was his ideals as well as his raw strength. Perhaps not as impressive as his own, but powerful in his own right, he was concerned for the younger members of his fleet and Confederacy. The Emperor was going about installing a new set of ideals but if so many of his younger warriors were off getting themselves killed for those ideals then his army would likely dwindle quickly after the first major battle. He had some of the best trainers, the most storied pilots, his army the Crusher Corp. had been the most accomplished mercenaries across the galaxy, the goal had been to minimize how many would be lost, either at the hands of an enemy or due to the stress and horrors of war, soldiers fled, soldiers broke, and some over committed, all too willing to die for a cause when if they had lived, they would have survived to further said cause. "Now I know that look," Talfa said, standing in the open doorway of Carambolis' quarters. She was a Brench female, her hot pink skin and dazzling green eyes, set with a bob cut of white hair that she had since let grow a little longer, gathering around her shoulders, normally she would be in armor though in this case she was simply wearing a blue under suit meant to go under battle armor, her curiass left in the armory, "You're wondering if this is a trap or not," she concluded. She was Cam's oldest and perhaps most trusted friend, serving together in the Frieza force, though these last few months had been trying on their relationship, when it became a rumor that the Kabochan was to marry a Saiyan warlord woman, that had only added to the strain. She still fought for him and was one of the most lethal soldiers in his army, this was perhaps due to the fact that she had been trained just as he had and was nearly as strong, Cam had lurched ahead when he gained a battle transformation, that was something Talfa couldn't compete against, though she came close. Cam forced a smile, trying his best to make it not awkward, "Ah. Am I that easy to read then?" He asked. She moved to a nearby table, leaning her rump against it, her arms crossing, quipping back, "Only to me," she remarked. They had been friends and fighting companions since they were mere children in the Frieza Force army, "How come you never spar me like we used to? I haven't had a good fight in weeks," she declared, "Deon and Hureo aren't doing it, and Duria is such a troll when he fights," the Brench woman stood up straight then, "Hey! We should go a round! These old ironhide ships always have a training room!" "You did not come here to train with me," Cam declared. "I did too! Well, more than that. I wanted to catch up, ever since you became some kinda warlord you haven't had time for your friends," the sharp emphasis hinting that perhaps she wasn't the only one in Cam's close circle that had become frustrated with the demands his new status and position held. "What's this I hear you're running around with some demon woman now? I thought you Kabochans hated demons for what they did to your homeworld?" "They didn't do it, we did," Cam stated, "Well they played a part, you can't be just trouncing around with some demon woman expecting it to go well, can you?" Talfa asked, "Amatracina serves--" "Oh you're on a first name basis with this girl then?" Talfa asked, her expression sour and indignant, she stepped forward, jabbing a finger at the Emperor, "I ought to kick you ass for the things you're doing. We can't be letting demons into the fold, you know that!" It was then Carambolis stepped even closer to Talfa, his body pressed against hers, "I think we can. She got rid of more than I ever did, I might have killed a few in my time, but she's not some brute or conniving wretch on the fringes of the galaxy, she's a warlord, and a powerful one at that Talfa." Just as Talfa was about to snake her arms around Cam's waist he shook his head, a captain standing in the doorway behind both of them, "We're close," the voice belonging to another Kabochan, "We're prepping some scouting squads and fighter at your behest Emperor." Flapping a hand, Cam looked down at Talfa a second before looking back towards the Captain, "Fifteen minutes then. I'll get ready," the captain snapping a salute before taking off to relay orders. "I can't Talfa. You know I can't." The brench woman stepped back, "That's a load and you know it," she declared, "We had our chance when we fled. We had it again after you pulled me off planet Root." A chance. It had gone unspoken between the two of them for ages, though in all fairness the Emperor had never seen them surviving this long, "Now isn't the time for this Talfa--Then when is!" She retorted, "I want to know when... You're gonna marry some Saiyan woman you don't even know! Then what? Have some grand heir and run the galaxy happily ever after? I know you Cam, you're not an Emperor, you're a fighter, so am I." She took her leave, "I'm not gonna be around forever you know." Fifteen minutes later...The ship they were on would land on what appeared to be a planetoid that sat squarely between Saturn and Jupiter, there wasn't much significance to it, on one side of the planetoid was a refueling station and some travelers amenities, on the other a mining facility that had been trickling out precious ores for decades before shutting down, the place was abandoned, but the ship set down at the refueling station. Several platoons of troops stepping out, they would scuttle what they could for the ship since they were here, the rest began to fan out, "What we're looking for is highly dangerous. Do not engage, you see anything you call straight away, that's an order from your Emperor, "No one goes anywhere alone. I don't want any of you getting the drop and getting yourselves killed." His soldiers snapping salutes before they began to fan out, searching all over the cold, desolate rock that they had been invited to, the Emperor among them.

V3 awoke once more to the sights of space. The soundless void, the ever expanding blackness of it's expanse. Before him stood a visage of bunny, a femlike construction of his imagination. It wasn't the "real" bunny, he knew that, but a corrupted visage of what MARK I wanted for V3. It's been a while since he'd been this lucid. It's felt like ages. The battle with Doctor Kaijin Vex had forced MARK I to revert power to different areas, essential areas which allowed V3 to enter a layer of consciousness just below that of being awake, but without truly being asleep. It was in this lucid state that MARK I would sometimes torture him, berate, and harass him for his strange alien reasons. A thick silence surrounded them as V3 gathered himself mentally. Nothing was happening as his spiritual form hung, tied to ethereal pillars within the stream of consciousness that he, bunny and MARK I shared. Within moments all memories of previous events would become clear to him and thought of the future too would be revealed to him. "…. .I hope he kills you..." V3 finally said. Breaking the silence. The figure before him simply smiled as she stared with her hands cross behind her back and a smile on her face. She had a feminine, yet featureless body, sleek grey, smooth skin, featureless breast, and the completely symmetrical figure of a women who stood about five feet four inches tall. "Why. Just tell me why you keep killing people. What's the point?" V3 spoke in a strained, exhausted voice which seemed to crack with every other word. The figure smiled yet again as it tilted its head at him. In a soft yet confident voice, one not fully hers but primarily feminine she spoke. " Strength & Survival." "Bullshit" He responded. "You know those people were "SURVIVNG" just strong before you came along!" " hahaha" The voices laughed at him, one soft and feminine the other deep and low, yet only a small part of every word. "Don't worry John. Poor sweet John. Master's self-testing phase has ended soon" "Look lady. I don't know who you are but when I get out of her..." Red tendrils of energy and power shocked every fiber of his being before he could finish his sentence. He billowed in pain, in shock, and alarm. "Aghhhhhh!!!" The women laughed softly to herself again. "Ever the hero VE-e3. Fear not. Together we will do more than your half measures ever could hope to reach. Soon you will be completely assimilated. Your spirit will break and you will no longer have anything to worry about. V stared at the women, rage fueled eyes told the story of a cornered animal more than a man. For a moment he thought about flaring his power, he considered unleashing his aura and attempting, for the thousandth time to break free of the kai weights and spiritual chains holding him in place. Though his body was broken, shattered, and bloodied he could still feel a fire within him, a light. His physical body began to twitch. His arms gripping onto the inner working of MARK I before he slowly began to give way to fatigue. In time he let go. He gave up. And faded softly back into obscurity. *Unnamed asteroid #1034 MARK I flew through space as he clung on to a medium sized asteroid amongst a grouping of space debris. Using the force and pressure of his ki he commanded a grouping of asteroids and space debris that once found a home amongst Saturn's ring towards the destination where Cam would be Emperor Cam's power could be felt Could be felt even from across a large distance of Space. He and his men had arrived earlier than MARK had expected. Even more surprising still, the Emperor himself actually came. It was a bold move considering the fact that the man's power level seemed equivalent to that of Kamui's. MARK I could sense as the emperor's personal guard began to establish a perimeter around him, looking, waiting, and scanning the area. They were good, very good. By MARK's own estimates there was only a 5.347% chance that he would be able to take out a man or two before anyone noticing. Very impressive, MARK I thought to himself. He had used the asteroids as a distraction, though they would likely be scanned and called into question as they began to pass by the small satellite where they were supposed to meet. Hundreds of small, medium and even some larger asteroids passed by the Emperor's men as MARK I observed them. "MARK I" Bunny spoke out to him. " Repairs are almost complete, current functional capacity is 90% with restraints. I recommend a diplomatic approach. This man seems to pass all of your criteria for strength and life, despite not being human. My systems and data displays he seems to have no negative track record with mankind. Awaiting your instructions.." MARK I released the satellite he had been on and stealthily leapt onto one of the largest asteroids which traveled with him. After some more subtle manipulations the largest of asteroids began to slow down until he came to a complete stop in full view of everyone on the planetoid where the Emperor stood. Like a moon to which loomed over the refueling station as the other asteroids began to orbit the planetoid, providing an odd distraction for any who didn't know any better, the Massive rock finally came to a dead halt. Within moments MARK I's large eighteen-foot frame came into view as he crossed the horizon of the space rock. He extended his arm into the air and unleashed a soft bright bolt of power into the air over his head, like a beacon, it shined brightly over his head, illuminating his strange, massive silhouette for all to see for a brief moment. The light casted a large sweeping shadow, who's figure seemed to reach out like the claws of a wild, hungry beast. Once the light had faded MARK I's eyes lit up. Displaying an unyielding gaze to anyone brave enough to stare into them. Cam W.C 1026/ T.W.C: 1026

The Emperor had not expected a meeting to go so easily. He was with a crew stripping the old fueling station down, old power cores for old earthling ships, though they could be retrofitted or at least sold for scrap. Ingenuity provided the Confederacy with more than enough of what it needed, how many ships they had salvaged from the old graveyards and battlefields of his home world made up a significant percentage of the current fleet today, not to mention the flagship Carambolis piloted around the galaxy had been found buried deep in the desert sands. So when a perimeter guard saw a flashing light, followed by two red eyes, he was quick to set the alarm, "Something's coming!" He shouted, pointing out onto the surface of the asteroid. A pair of other soldiers moving forward, one raising a pair of technical binoculars and range finders built into it. "It's pretty big," One soldier murmured, Carambolis stepped forward, he had no need for such range finders, or even the same vac suits or radiation protections that these other races needed to survive in space. "follow me," Cam ordered. He leaped upwards, conjuring up his energy and peeling off. Three soldiers following behind as they surged towards the massive creature out on the side of this planetoid. They halted in their speeding advance about thirty feet away. The three soldiers were hesitant to move with their Emperor, scouters struggled to get a reading--they always did with androids, but Carambolis knew all he needed to, this being was able to defeat Kamui in combat and that made it a possible threat. Even his soldiers were strong though, the weakest of the three with him sitting at a power level just above ten thousand, the strongest with him nearly double that. "I've seen you've bested one of my Lieutenants and killed some of his men," Cam stated, the words weren't just leaving his mouth though, psychic energy sent kinetic vibrations through the empty space, Mark I wouldn't just hear the words, he would feel them throughout his body, if there was an organic component, a brain and not just a computer it might actually feel the words pressing into its mind, "I don't appreciate what you've done, I respect your ability and prowess though. You called for me, I don't normally do house calls but I'm making an exception for you, so lets cut to the chase shall we? Why am I here?" he asked, gesturing around himself at the naked, cold planetoid, "If your intention is a fight, I would perhaps rethink such intentions, I'm known for kicking the asses of braggadocios super Saiyans, while you might be large and intimidating to some, I've fought and one against my fair share of giants." He paused, "But you're not here to fight. Otherwise You wouldn't have given me the time to talk, would you? No, you're thinking." He remarked, a thinking enemy was a dangerous one, but the real question was, was this creature his enemy?

MARK I watched carefully as a handsome man lead a small group towards him. Emperor Cam was obviously bold. He held himself with the confidence of a true, undisputed warlord, yet presented and acted like a true leader. In the background MARK I could make out his men. They were elites, no doubt about that, but in their eyes MARK I could sense their fear, their uncertainty, perhaps not about their own lives, but of the emperors. It mattered not to the Titan. As the men arrived The emperors mind seemed to seep into MARK I's consciousness. "Interesting.." MARK I thought to himself. This was a new form of power he'd not yet experienced in his time investigating lifeforms, though he'd suspected it possible based on previous observations, he yet again felt naked and unsure in this face of such a strange psychic ability. These were not emotions MARK I could stand. The moment Cam's mind reached out into the void he would feel MARK I's mind, or rather the mind of One V3, whom MARK I shared. A pit of ceaseless sorrow and rage consumed this mind. In an instant the emperor would see images of horror and torture, he would view segments of a young man's life, before MARK I took over. A man turned cyborg who would fight and fight countless battles for those who could not defend themselves. This Man, known simply by Johnathan had apparently once died in his pursuit to defend others. Only to later be sustained as an android named V3 where he would continue to fight and protect others. That is until MARK I took over.. The images and memories were not clear, it was obvious the entire experience was new to MARK I, who may not have even meant to project these Images to Cam, but a few things were clear. Within MARK I were two souls. Locked and infused together. One a man. A hero with a heart of compassion and perseverance. Secondly, that of an ancient alien mind from another dimension entirely. A soul of Rage and hatred. A proud and powerful being. Together these two made up a strange consciousness that referred to itself as MARK I " ...Otherwise You wouldn't have given me the time to talk, would you? No, you're thinking." The Emperor remarked.
MARK I took his time to respond he was in no hurry. He had time and he did, infact have a lot to think about. Eventually MARK I would reach out with Johnathan's mind, like a grip around everyone he would tighten his mind around them. It would have no real physical effect on them but in their bones they would be able to feel an alien mind analyzing everything about them. Studying them. Dissecting them in his mind as he spoke. And he DID speak into their minds. For the first time MARK I decided to communicate himself. The sound of his voice seemed to boom and echo in their minds, as if he was speaking from across an ancient dark temple. MARK I's voice seemed to rumble in a low bass of a strange alien sound which to them, temporarily would be comprehensible. "... Interesting.. You are in the presence of a harbinger. Carambolis. Mighty Emperor. I have seen into your mind....." Cam would then begin to "feel' MARK I's intentions. The android either not knowing this was possible or not caring. MARK I's initial intentions were simple. He wished to meet a leader of these, mostly, weak, pathetic organic life forms. He hoped to get an accurate baseline of strength and Kamui had absolutely provided him with a fair amount of data on two occasions now. As he watched him grow to eventually become the main leader of a gang in space Vegas, and over their past bout. This emperor, initially, seemed to disappoint MARK I. He was not as powerful as one Saiyan in particular which MARK had already dealt with. Though MARK I understood now that power alone was not a good indicator. Upon seeing and sensing the Emperor, gathering the data he wished to acquire MARK I initially sought to leave but something within him had changed and at a fundamental level the foreign mind now held his ground in the face of such a bold young man. As MARK I stared into the Emperor's eyes a a couple of words would continue to echo in his mind as MARK's eyes stared with an intensity that seemed to pierce armor. "Ea...Ear.....earth...EARTH......is....MINE." W.C: 758/ T.W.C:1784 Cam

The presence of a harbinger. Those words in the presence of the Emperor were coded. Cam knew beings from other places came and went. Demons, aliens, people from other galaxies, extra-dimensional beings. With the abilities unique to his race he could stare out into the void of space and see further than any human eye ever could. The images he saw sometimes, the light from galaxies that had been destroyed, the flow of energy changing, churning, the flow of gravity, space and time itself coalescing at different points. This being was certainly something else, and were it from another dimension he knew he would have to tread carefully, "Legendary Super Saiyan. You know of it?" he retorted into the titan's mind. "You're not the first being from far beyond I've encountered. Won't be the last likely." He looked back at his soldiers, they had those who had guns held them tightly, ready to act and those who didn't had amped their energy levels up. He waved a hand, signalling that they could put their guard down, "This being doesn't communicate like us," Cam projected the thought into his soldier's mind, "This may be boring for you, relax, but don't drop your guard entirely." The things in Cam's mind were many in number, if it were memories he would find that walls could be put up. This creature didn't appear to have a mastery over psychic energy, though certain pieces were allowed. For one, while Cam looked young, his race seemed to age slower than humans, they lived roughly twice as long should they die from natural causes. War, tactics, even all the ways that Mark I might have struck at him now and how Cam would react were thoughts he had left on display, but delving into personal memories or crucial tactical information to his army or home world? He blocked that, forcing the presence out of those areas of his mind. He looked back towards Mark I, the sound of a sigh could be heard or felt rather in the Titan's mind, "Earth is yours?" The sound of laughter than as Cam shook his head, "No. It's not. It's not mine or even the king down there who says it is," he stated, "It belongs to the strongest tyrant in the galaxy should he choose to take it right now. I am going to change that. Cut him off before he realizes how important Earth is in all this." He pointed a finger at the titan, "I hardly think a being such as yourself would be able to stop me. I've defeated people twice as strong as you are without my battle transformation--and yes, I do have one of those." he remarked, "Much more efficient than anything a changeling or a Saiyan can manage. So if you've invited me to this rock to make a declaration that 'the earth is yours,' well then you need to rethink that sentiment. I have armies, ships, an armada, allies and enemies and dozens of planets as a part of my rule. What do you have?" He crossed his arms then, "Used to be a single fighter could take those sorts of things from me, not anymore though. Far as I'm concerned the Earth is a part of the Kabochan confederacy. I've defended it. I've befriended many denizens from it, and I know the truth to king Ches lies and about the dragon balls." He paused, "Meanwhile you appear to be several things all merged into one... I've met things like you before. People and consciousness, multiple presences within one life form. It has its benefits and detractors. Seems like you've got a lot of imbalance though. No unity, clarity I wager comes and goes for you in that form." he stated this as though it were a matter of fact before reiterating, "Come now. Sure you wanted more than to tell me the Earth is "yours", you have to have thought further. If you could take the Earth today, if myself, Polaris, or Radia willed it, it would be ours by the day after that and you would be dead or chained." He paused, "So be thankful I'm willing to talk, especially after you killed and wounded some of those men and women who work for me. I have killed for less." He added pointedly, "Never mind how the Earth would react to you. I can think of a few Earthlings who would kick you ass for making that kind of claim." The leader chuckled then, awaiting the giant's response, the three men behind him while they were told to be at ease, found it hard to be with such a creature in front of them.

The Emperor had not reacted to MARK I the way he expected he would have, the way most mortals would have. Despite MARK I nearly killing his lieutenant, a figure of nearly the same Power level as this emperor, Carambolis seemed unfazed, completely undaunted. What is worse, he seemed to disregard MARK's Claim to the earth entirely. Could it be that despite his initial assessments of power and observations that there were figures that much more powerful still? The probability was there, yet MARK I had yet to discover even a single being that could defeat him. A couple, a literal two could give him pause, perhaps the emperor was a third. Then again there was also Ethon, the Saiyan which had defeated V3 long ago in a tournament. .." It belongs to the strongest tyrant in the galaxy should he choose to take it right now. I am going to change that. Cut him off before he realizes how important Earth is in all this..." MARK I listened to the Emperors words and as he referred to earth the monster felt feelings of anger and longing for earth. The feeling were conflicting, they merged together like a winter storm. Whether or not MARK I was aware that CAM would be able to sense these trace feeling within his mostly cold and callous heart the emperor could not be sure. MARK I had fought and battled warriors considered to be great and legendary. He had beaten them. He had evolved through each experience to be stronger. He had endured the punishment of his foes and the attacks of all who came into contact with him because his ideals and beliefs demanded he should. He did it all so that he could lead the earth, under his guidance, to become stronger, as he had. And now he was being told that he wasn't enough. He stared at the emperor with a malicious intent. In a second he could envision killing Carambolis's men, like they were nothing. He could see in his mind himself assaulting the emperor. The battle played out a hundred times within a moment as he used his analytics, based on current estimates, to determine a victor. "NO!" V3 yelled from within. "NO!" MARK I yelled in synch. For once. The two had agreed. A moment of complete silence befell Their minds "These are human thoughts. Human emotions." And with that his heart went cold. Callous and calm again. The two souls settled and his mind followed suit all while his body language showed no signs at all of what had just occurred. "... Earth is a part of the Kabochan confederacy. I've defended it. I've befriended many denizens from it..." "Yes" MARK I thought to himself. Like his nature, to adapt, to mold to things the voice in MARK I's mind began to sound and shape itself in the liking of the Emperor himself, until it reached an eerie similarity to Cam's own, actual voice, yet with a slight difference. Not a difference that could be heard but one that could be felt. Like a light weight added to ones chest as they slept, their body responding to it, respiratory system adapting, though they may never be conscious of it. "Meanwhile you appear to be several things all merged into one... I've met things like you before. People and consciousness, multiple presences within one life form. It has its benefits and detractors. Seems like you've got a lot of imbalance though. No unity, clarity I wager comes and goes for you in that form." "Earth, belongs to the earthlings" The eerie voice spoke out. "Carambolis. I must apologies to you for a great many things.. I am still getting used to this. All of this" As he spoke MARK I's spirit motioned in a way that suggested everything was new to him. " I hope you do not mind me adopting your voice.. I find that you are far more charismatic then I. This voice may have something to do with it. Of course you are correct, in regards to my current state of being. I am unfortunately sharing this body. Your perceptive powers and mastery of ki impress me. I've yet to meet an individual who could stare into me as you have. I am burdened with a human soul. It is a curse, unfortunately but It is mine to burden. This soul, however cumbersome it may be, has instilled me with great purpose." MARK I's eyes seemed to dim now. Their usually fierce red glow dimming into a soft warm hearth like flame. "In life the hero known as V3 sought to protect humanity, protect Xeno's and even his enemies you see, but he was nothing like you appear to be. He took half measures. You seem to be willing to do what must be done, in that sense we are the same. But I digress. Emperor, I have asked for your audience today because I am burdened with this purpose and my purpose is to ensure to it that humankind prospers and thrives under proper human law and humane government. I seek to ensure that humanity advances to the potential they are capable of and I refuse to sit idly by while these tyrants you speak of continue to pose a threat. I am here to offer myself to you in exchange for a deal. I defeated one of yours, I could potentially defeat you but our battle would be pointless. They however" As MARK I spoke his hand pointed a finger in the general direction of planet earth. "Those humans are weak. Pathetic and under corrupt leadership. You could conquer them and then they would become as much a burden, a liability. Allow me to change this. Allow me to lead them. Allow me to make the tough decisions that would stain your conscioius and soul, but decisions that need to be made regardless should mankind ever hope to stand a chance. I will prepare the humans and the earth for war in the only ways that ever motivate them to prepare for anything." As he spoke MARK I raised a gauntleted fist and with a tight grip he began to squeeze his hand together with enough force to break diamonds. "FEAR. The greatest of human motivators. In exchange I will create a better earth. A stronger earth and against these enemies you claim are tyrants and indomitable, I will fight for you, so long as it means the earth remains independent of foreign rulers." As MARK I spoke his feet began to hover as he slowly inched closer towards the Emperor, not in a malicious or deceitful way but an attempt at diplomacy, it seemed.. W.C: 1119/ T.W.C:2903 Cam

It was indeed eerie to hear his own voice used to communicate with him, the kind of experience that could certainly catch someone off guard, even one of the soldiers behind Cam went, "Ah fuck that's creepy," the trio seeming to get ready to react as Cam waved a hand, trying to keep his soldiers at bay. Here he was, a fork in the road, a giant amalgam creature was asking to rule the Earth with an iron fist, "Surely you must see how that's a... Contradiction," Though Cam knew that even as he spoke, his mission, his overarching goals had been crafted by fear, a fear of the unknown and what was coming. "Fear cannot be overused, that's how tyrants and dictators rule. I don't care to see the Earth grow resentful and revolt against me, my plan is to unify the galaxy, not piss it off." he paused before adding, "I may be an Emperor but I am a reasonable man. People and cultures are free to keep their ways of life and law for the most part, the universal laws I've installed are socially progressive for some but in all honesty not much would change in regards to the Earth's freedom. It's diversity however would cultivate quite a bit. People from all species all across the galaxy would come and go." He met the creatures gaze then, seeming to muse to himself a moment longer, "However, Earth will need a ruler. I'm not so inclined to say no quite yet. I would need to see what it is you offer--Though don't take me for some kind of fool," he waggled a finger at the titan, smiling devilishly, "I know you have your own intentions for the planet. You say you wish to make it stronger but that means something drastic. More drastic than I have planned, so tell me why I or any of my ilk should install you? Can you guarantee the Earth won't rise up against the Kabochan confederacy?" Cam was certainly hesitant so far with the notion, though he would consider what it was this being had to say. "Fear is a tool like anything else, but so is pride and courage and might and mercy," the Emperor went on, "People are everything, every spectrum and to forge them stronger you simply need to know how to test them. This is true of nearly any sentient, intelligent being. The tests might be different in nature, but all grow stronger from them, and from failing a few times along the way." He looked off to one side now. A distant blue dot, the Earth hung there like the blue jewel it was, "Earth can't afford to fall. Not to the cult that's growing on it now like a disease and not to galactic empire. That happens and any independence at all will be gone. Polaris has avoided the fringe worlds for now, but he can't forever if he intends to keep on fighting. That's why I'm taking them first. We'll cage those poor bastards in and make them surrender or defeat them in battle." The Emperor declared, "Do you really think you have what it takes to measure the Earth and its people enough to make them ready for war the likes of which it's never seen?" Certainly this creature had the power to take the Earth in an attack, though winning a victory and ruling a world were two entirely different tasks, one he wasn't entirely sure this being was suited for.

MARK I's data base was filled with tales, stories, and images of what a leader looked like. Leadership, genuine, pure and effective leaders were a rarity. Emperor Carambolis was one such leader. The longer MARK I dealt with him the more his mind seemed to open up to the possibility of other races being worthy of the lives they held, lives he allowed them to hold. MARK I's position on alien life forms had never truly solidified. Kobachans, MARK I thought to himself. They seemed, via his analysis's of the Emperor's biology and physiology, incredibly similar to human beings. despite this the emperor was far superior, in every way, to every human MARK I had met. In a way this angered him but he seemed to set that aside. Unsure of weather or not it was respect or undecided biases. "Perhaps you are right." The mimicking voice spoke with a contemplation tone, as if it had not yet fully decided upon its following actions "Diversity should be encourage for competition. I will allow sanctuary cities. Studies will be performed in order to find the best way to invoke proper change. Perhaps xenophobia would hurt them in the long run. The earth is allowed to be a part of something greater. So long as it's stability and independence is maintain via infrastructure and stable governance. So long as those who rule have the earth's best interest in mind I do not see why this confederacy of yours would be a problem."As MARK I spoke spoke Cam could pick up the sense of a rippling effect in his mind. A simpler mind, human. A man trapped within. His essence felt almost hallow and void. It was a soul in pain. A chronic constant pain yet despite this there was hope. Something else Cam might have notice as the Titan communicated with him were strange ripples in the fabric or space around the Titan. Should cam have the ability to see or sense radio waves he might have noticed, in hindsight, tendrils, lines of code that seemed to seep out of MARK I during their conversation. Subtle, sinister lines that seemed to snake their way around the pair. "The plan..." MARK I continued ". .was to run the earth through a forced artificial selection, simulating natural selection until only fifty percent of the population remained or submitted. Fear and a common enemy has a way of unifying mankind. I would be that enemy, at first, A necessary evil. A goal for them to overcome. They would fail and learn from this failure growing stronger bonds of community in the process. Bringing out the best in them, I would.
From there I organize them. Rebuild them, Groom each and every individual for jobs best suited to their natural talents and skills. The best would thrive, not just survive, those who were inadequate would suffer in a merit based economy. A reminder to any who would consider abandoning their new civic duties."It seemed clear by the monster's voice and tone that he had decided to be transparent with Cam, as if he wanted the emperor's opinion. As if this emperor was somehow an advisor, or an expert. Was MARK I leaning on this organic life form? in hopes to learn or adapt his behavior? "History is written by the victors and when we win. There will be nothing to raise against. Once I have built and established a new earth They will have nothing to raise up against. They will have only benefited from their experience and future generations to come will be allowed to govern themselves, should it be deemed appropriate." MARK I's arms and fingers started to move now. For the first time in the conversation the Machine seemed to motion with his hands as if he were subtlety attempting to grasp influence over something. They were strange alien motions that seemed unrelated to the conversation at hand. "The point is independence. My purpose is harbinger of great change. Though Sorrow by thy name, the earth will persist. It will adapt and in time they will view you as a savoir that allowed a molding of its perfect self. They will write me in their histories of a leaders who did what needed to be done. They will remember me as a warning, in their stories, a lesson of what is to come should they fail to maintain their purpose, greatness. Unification. Independence.
"So long as I exist earth will never fall to another foreign ruler. Not you not this Polaris. If this tyrant is as bent as you say than I will join you." Finally the massive hands came to a stop and he made motions as if gripping on to an invisible ball. MARK I began to chuckle softly to himself in a voice that sounded like the emperor but not just the emperor. There was another. A deeper sinister voice behind it. "Too easy.." MARK I thought. again unsure of whether he knew how much cam could listen in to the machines thoughts or whether or not he didn't care for the emperor to hear. Suddenly Cam's men started to freak out. As the filtration systems on their suits began failing. Their weapons began to malfunction. Light from Cam's ships in the distance began to flare on and off as the entire ship started to lift off, its guns activating and rotating towards their positions as the cruiser drew nearer to them. Any communication or tech like devices cam had on him would began to act strangely as MARK I's eyes began to glow with a strange dark green glare now. Any fighter ships, ejection pods, or guns that the ship held would begin to fire off into the distance. Miraculously, no one seemed to be harmed. Ships and missiles flew around the plantoid, devices with screens all began to display a visage of MARK I's face with the words "UNITY" in them, flashing on and off every fraction of a second. MARK I began to draw closer to the emperor now until he was within arms length, mentally the titan raised a segment of rock the emperor had been standing on until the two were eye level. "You say the earth must prepare for a war the likes of which it has never seen. To do this the earth will need leaders the likes of which there have never been. My eyes would see all. My consciousness would be omnipresent. My mind unlimited. Earthlings have grown lazy, slaves to the light of their blue screens, their computers, phones, technology. I will be with them all. Everywhere, at all times. Crimes will be punished, if that is a term you wish to set. Laws would be enforced. A competitive environment will be cultivated. Mankind would suffer first but in time it will grow. They will break the mold. In time they will adapt or I can have this same conversation with this emperor you speak of." As MARK I spoke the suits of Cam's men began to re-stabilize. Pilots regained control of their ships. Missiles deactivated in space. Everything came to a stop all eyes now on the emperor, on MARK I. There it was, the monstrous notion inside this titanic being. "Absolutely not," Cam retorted with cooly, "You don't kill half a planet's population. I worked for the Frieza force once upon a time, tell me, have you ever stripped an entire world of life? Half of it? A third of it? It doesn't take much to set the hole thing to collapse." Of course it wasn't a matter of could or couldn't, but Carambolis simply wouldn't. He had friends, confidants on Earth, he had seen the culture there as something to preserve, to introduce to the galaxy. Carving it up like a thanksgiving turkey wouldn't do anyone any good, "I don't know who built you, what your mind is made up of, if its fragments or a whole, but let me give you a brief history lesson--Their was an ancient warrior culture on our planet once, so dominant and so obsessed with war that they culled their own. Infanticide of even the slightest malformation, an army that could crush most others," he paused, "All it took was one worthy opponent, their armies were crushed and with too few infants and children, and all their men killed in battle, they simply had no way to reproduce. Tell me, have you accounted for what happens if after your culling and your perfect army is built, if that army loses?" Cam asked though he wagered he already knew the answer. "The Kabochan confederacy might be filled with cutthroat and conquerors, but I will not let you harm the Earth in such a way, ever." At Mark I's display of power, of scrambling of electronics and the switching off of his soldier's vac suits, he growled, "And I do not take well to threats creature. You'd do well to remember that," Cam lofted a hand then, his eyes shifted from amber to a bright purple. The chatter over his scouter was frantic at what had occurred, "Lock on my location, everything, all the firepower we have, now!" Meanwhile a field of psychic energy ballooned around the Emperor, "If your intent is to harm the Earth, then you're a fool to have come here. Intention and impact are not the same thing, and I won't let the Earth be destroyed by some creature who's willing to commit near genocide to do it! How many cultures would you wipe clean from the planet? How many families broken? Well, c'mon you must've run the numbers, you're a machine after all, or did you not account for all the others costs taking lives has?!" It was clear now that Carambolis was in fact, pissed. His aura flared a brilliant white and crackling purple energy rippled over his skin. He was ready to fight this titan if need be, "Consider your next actions and words very, very carefully," the Emperor cautioned. Both he and every gun of a war cruiser he had in tow were aimed at Mark I. A rejection of the titan's terms had been given. "You've never seen your world ravaged. My home world has been, time and again. You don't know the level of pain and suffering you would be inflicting, the damage you'd do that could never be undone. The Earth wouldn't be stronger for it, you might be. The some survivors might be. You know who inherits the world though? The meek--what you might think of as weak. When the dust settles, when the killing is done, those who kept their heads down and followed orders, those are who survived. Not the strong souls who fought so hard and resisted. That is the very nature of the Earth itself, as is the nature of many other planets that have survived something that should have been total and utter annihilation. Sooner you get that through your head the better."

MARK I lowered is arm with a causal indifference. The emperors passion and power shone through the alien's mind like a long sought after light house in the midst of a raging storm Could it be that in all this time MARK I had been so fixated in his goals of strength and supremacy. So fixated on what was best for the earth that he had not stopped to consider every single implication of his actions. Impossible. He knew he could do it. He had done the calculations before, hundreds of times, but as he ran the numbers and read through Kobached and earthly histories and rhetoric he saw... the emperor had a point. MARK I's aura flared with absolutely rage and fury like a thousand storms though his body did nothing to respond. A litany of painful psychic shouts and screams could be heard from within his mind as a powerful wave of cognitive dissonance pulsated throughout his being. Cam's own men, to their credit, stood firm against the powerful waves of pressure that formulated between these two warriors. As the pressure between them began to mount into ever increasing waves of power and force, it seemed for a moment as if a powerful ki-like storm would be caused in the ever expanding vacuum of space "Kill, adapt, reproduce. Kill, adapt, reproduce!" This was the way of things. Chaos was the natural order. Paradox. Contradictions. The earth could not be sustained this way. But MARK I could. He had the ability. To regulate. To command and measure. MARK I's skin began to change and mold into a more stable state as his aura slowly dissipated into more subtle waves of power, eventually giving way to Cam's own force and dissipating into nothingness. His eyes matched Cam's again and in a tense moment between the two. "Humans lesser beings have tried in the past, but none like I. My mind is capable of the moderation requi.." He stopped suddenly. MARK I's head began to jerk side to side, it was a jarring and sudden movement. For a moment there was silence. " Cam..buddy.." A strained voice came from within the machine. " It's Emperor Carambolis Vi, be polite" bunny's voice spoke out. "Yea..right.." The man responded. "Anyway's.. Hey. Listen. You're a swell guy. I ain't got like, time er nothing but we're like working to keep Mark...well..like so he won't be such an asshole..So bear with us..any help would be really swell buddy but if you gotta take him down that would be okay too. It's my fault this is all happening." The man's voice seemed to fade at the end as bunny's voice sent a brief and immediate message before MARK I seemed to take control again. "I am sorry for this. But know that we are working to ease this monster's tendencies. It might just take a while. We are however ready to die if you deem this monster as a lost cause. Best of luck to you sir." MARK I's head came to a stop as he slowly rotated it back into position and continued. "... Very well.." The words would ring in cam's mind like midnight bell at the end of an empty hallway. ". .Emperor. I do not wish to fight you here, today." The titans voice was dark and hallowed before it resumed to mimic Cam's own. "I will acknowledge that you have a fair point. I will acknowledge that in the past these attempts have failed. You appear to be a friend to earth. Your leadership is evident to me and those around you. If you can acknowledge that I to want what is best for this planet than I move we set your terms for me to govern and manage a large section of the planet under your supervision. A partnership. Perhaps I have yet to learn the ways of governance. Perhaps my irrational human emotions of which I am shackled with have blinded me to the cold logic of this reality." As MARK I spoke he slowly commanded all of the released missiles and escape pods safely onto the ground behind him, organizing them into neat lines and rows for ease. Shrapnel in the background and any salvageable parts would also be brought into the fold, making it easier for the confederacy to pick them up later, should they wish. " For now we want the same thing. An independent and free earth. It would do no good for either of us to die here. Allow me to display my ruler-ship over a segment of the earth. Install me and watch as anything I touch raises above all others in excellence. When our enemies lay defeated and slain then the earth can fall under my stewardship and under my charge you can expect to see the same results." MARK I's body glistened as he spoke, light from the Emperors raw power reflecting off of the strange responsive skin over his shell. It was hard to tell whether or not the Titan had entered a transformed state the only thing that was easy for Cam to read was its mood. It was a cold, callous emotion. The kind of numbing sensation one gets whenever they felt stupid or ashamed but not angry. As if he should have known something all along. Regardless MARK I stood at the ready for whatever was to come next undaunted by what he recognized was the emperors awesome power, yet ready, like a levies for the waves of battle to crash against his iron will. Other voices. Those other voices coming out from this titanic frame. Indeed this creature wasn't alone and it never would be, its fabric had several beings woven into it. How confusing it must all be to not know every corner of your own mind, to feel other beings inside yourself, trying to steer your actions and motives, how you felt, how you perceived reality. The energy the Emperor had conjured dissipated. He felt immense pity and sorrow in his heart for this creature. For all its flaws its motives, its want and need to do good seemed present, though it was erratic, unsure in its own emotional footing. "I won't break you. I can see what's in you, the will to act and do good for the Earth. You must tread carefully here, anything less will result in something that could result in catastrophe for the Earth." The Emperor turned, his eyes seeming to search the sky. Eventually he found that pale grey dot, he wasn't certain if the light it gave off would have reached this far across the galaxy yet given it was a new construct their was the chance not enough time had passed. "Stare at that point. Long and hard, I don't know if you can see the surface from here, but I can." He paused to explain, "That is Mitra. A construct of the Galactic empire, more importantly a super weapon that can destroy... Who knows how much, but it's far beyond a single world." He knew it was a toss up if the titan would be able to see like he did, "I stare into the stars often, they provide answers to me and my race, If you know where to look you can see what used to be, what is now, and what might be later. For instance," he rotated on a heel until he found another pale white dot, "You can see the light still because it's still travelling at us. That was another galaxy. It's gone now. The light is still travelling but it's long since been destroyed. How or why, I have not the slightest clue... But I don't want it to happen here." he said succinctly. "That's why I act to unite our galaxy now. Their are beings from other galaxies who would come and destroy ours." Cam stated this as a matter of fact, "Their are beings within our own galaxy trying to start a war with the gods themselves." His eyes shifting back to Mark I, he sighed softly, "If Polaris is smart he'll never touch the Earth. He'll let it destroy itself, he'll let the people fleeing from his rule create a refugee crisis on other worlds and they'll collapse under that weight, some already have. Most planets aren't equipped to talk on millions--sometimes billions, of refugees of another species. This war, the Earth is a part of it whether it wishes to be or not, it will need to be ready. Ready for any possible outcome that might come, I do not know you or who you are, I do not even pretend to fully understand your motives or to declare that I can tell your truths from your lies." He paused for effect, his purple eyes seeping back into a golden amber color. "I will say if you intend to vanguard the Earth and this galaxy as I am trying to do, then you're welcome to come along for the ride, for now."

MARK I shifted with Cam taking a position side by side with the Emperor as the pair stared at Mitra. Some of Cam's men shared a look of complete disbelief and confusion at recent turn of events. Earlier the emperor had expressed to them that this encounter would be "boring" to them, the emperor was rarely wrong. Carambolis was a god amongst them, a standard to be aspired to. An exemplar of their order. On this day however the Emperor could have been more incorrect. As they stood at the ready his men's reactions ranged from silenced laughter and dibelief to utter bewilderment, and finally, fear. "Trees be damned" One man spoke into the comm channel. "What the fuck is going on?" Despite not responding to Cam MARK I got a good enough look at the planet. Enough to guesstimate its size, its weight, and its density based on its rotational velocity, or lack thereof. How other, smaller bodies orbited around it. It was not a clear view but it was sufficient for the purposes of this conversation. This object was not natural. Clearly constructed, and most certainly dangerous. The emperor speech and mannerisms, his genuine qualities spoke volumes to MARK I. This Kobahcan was no man. Not human yet he displayed the qualities of mankind's finest. He had strength and power to spare, it seemed. A natural Charisma that MARK I knew he lacked and above all else. He had actually taken the time to not only meet with MARK I himself, but also speak with him. In many ways MARK I considered Cam foolish. In many ways he considered the emperor was over extending his reach. Perhaps he was desperate, but to voice these thoughts did not seem or "feel" right to him. And to express them seemed counterproductive. Despite this he made no attempt to hide these thoughts from the emperor, imply, that to at least some capacity he did know the emperor was watching his mind. "So long as I function the earth will never answer to a foreign ruler nor a weak one. Not you, not this Polaris. I will join you and so long as you keep the earth's interest MARK I will work with you for the betterment of the earth." As MARK I spoke the voices in his head seemed to quiet themselves. Cam would notice an eerie silence in the automatons mind. For once. There was nothing besides the omnipresent alien language that spoke before the mimicking voice of the emperor himself. It was an odd language A language that made no sense as to why Cam could not understand it, given that he was in the titan's head. The words themselves seem to change as the titan spoke them. It was as if every other words was completely different, inconsistent with the last. No, it wasn't one language. It was multiple ones. They had to be. Yet with each new sentence a new language seemed to introduce itself. Should the emperor attempt to listen to this dark, background voice just as his mind started to unravel the speech patterns and words the very next sentence would force him to start over anew.. "Emperor Carambolis" The mimic voice said. "I will allow you to take the lead. You have the rapport you have paved the way for MARK I to take the earth and meet with president ches in the most effcient way possible. Where it up to MARK I, I would simply fly to the man's house and bring him before you" As MARK I spoke he held his hand out. Within it a small black box seemed to materialize in it, as if his own, strange, black skin seemed to be coalescing and creating the box from within itself. The skin shifted and bulged as the box came into being. It was a simple device. A small hand held box with a single button and a thin layered screen above it. "This container will register only the finger print of Emperor Carambolis. It will register only the voice of Emperor Carambolis, it holds a rudimentary A.I of my design which will speak only to Emperor Carambolis and recognize you. You may name it whatever you would like. It will always report to you my location, my status, and anything I wish for it to reveal. MARK I will allow you to authorize only one more person to utilize this box, at its discretion." The button seemed to shine as the emperor looked upon it, as if it was awaiting interaction or instruction. "This box contains segments of MARK I. It contains a virus. If other attempt to tamper with it MARK I's code will infect them and destroy or assimilate them. MARK I will go to earth and there he will attempt to interact and learn from the people as Emperor Carambolis seems to have done. MARK I will await for the Emperor's call to action. MARK I will attempt to not initiate his plans for a better earth until the Emperor has called on him." The titan paused for a moment, never breaking eye contact with the emperor. It seemed to consider its words, though this was impossible to tell for sure given its complete lack of expression. It's emotional state was a confusing mix of excitement, anticipation, anxiety, and pain. The creature continued to stare into the emperors eyes as it spoke. "The earth may be inherited by the meek but it will belong to the fittest. MARK I will see to it." With that statement MARK lifted himself far above the planetoid and began to turn away, towards earth. A low burning light could be observed beneath his palms and feet as he prepared to fly off. As the Titan lifted and turned to face the direction of Earth he turned his head and tilted it downward to Cam, to the Emperor. MARK I said and thought nothing. He seemed to wait for something before taking off, allow the Emperor a chance to speak before taking off. His eyes peered into Carambolis, dull, and black. No rage. No emotion. Cold dead eyes awaiting a response. Or perhaps...a command... W.C: 1034/ T.W.C- 6075 Cam

The Emperor was accept this gift carefully. Taking the box, he would press a hand to it. Whatever interfacing that needed to occur would be allowed as he looked back up at the Titan. He examined the black box carefully, cautious not to press the button, "Interesting," he said finally as he looked back up at Mark I, watching him lift off the planet, "What will you do in the meantime?" he asked. He knew that a being such as Mark I likely had to keep a low profile, if he used his powers to the full capacity then chances are this creature could wipe out the Earth on his own, barring a few certain Z-fighters and several military officers who would move to defend the Earth. The fact of the matter was the Earth likely had just enough defense to withstand the first wave of pressure form on outside force, but rarely would it withstand a second or even a third wave from a force as strong as something akin to his level. Mark I was a powerful foe who had defeated one of Cam's top lieutenants. "Wait." He ordered. "You think you're getting off that easily?" The Emperor asked, genuinely curious. He reached a hand up to his scouter, "Men. Prepare for battle. We're going to fight this creature. On my mark." He then looked back at the gigantic titan, "You boast power, you crush one of my lieutenants and think you're just going to... Walk away? I have to kick your ass as a matter of principle alone," the Emperor stated, "Don't worry though. I'm not here to kill you. Think of it as a... Disciplinary action combined with a learning opportunity for both of us. I care to know what you're capable of, and I wager you're just as curious to see if this Emperor is talk or not." Lofting his hand that aura flared wildly. "You may flee into the asteroid or anywhere else in the system or you can wait here for us to begin. I'll give it ten minutes before we start for you to prepare." Though those ten minutes were purely for his adversary. If Mark I launched into combat immediately he would be ready but if those ten minutes were taken it only allowed him to prepare further, speaking into his scouter, "Arm all cruiser cannons. Be ready to fire on my mark when I throw up a signal." The challenge had been extended. Mark I could flee or fight.

"What will you do in the meantime?" MARK I floated, half turned to the emperor, half away towards the earth as he spoke. His head was tilted toward Cam, eyes not entirely fixated on the emperor as he floated. "Master will go to earth. He will attempt to communicate with the creatures there, attempt to establish better relations with mankind. Now that a good baseline of master's combat prowess has been establish he feels confident in moving towards phase two of his evolution." Bunny voice returned to the conversation. No longer the deep mimicking voice of Cam. She spoke almost as if she was tired. As if somehow the conversation had taken a lot out of her. Upon completion the Machine turned its back to the emperor and began to ignite his thrusters. "Wait." The Emperor had ordered. MARK I's thrusters halted as the emperor spoke. His sensors processing the emperors words in repeat, as if he needed to confirm the words he had heard in his mind, they picked up nothing. It was all in his mind. He grew angry. He was not used to this form of communication. "Men. Prepare for battle. We're going to fight this creature. On my mark." The emperor commanded his men and as he said, they certainly did. MARK I turned to face an entire squadron of warriors at the ready. Preparing for battle, preparing to face him, preparing to die.. He tilted his head in disbelief as he analyzed their ships, weapons and armory. "Interesting" Bunny spoke out. "Not bad but it may not be enough. Most of these men will die." "You boast power, you crush one of my lieutenants and think you're just going to... Walk away?... I have to kick your ass as a matter of principle alone," The emperor went on to make a couple of fine points. None worth debating over, for the most part, he was right. " Ten minutes before we start for you to prepare." MARK I stood in silence and his usual, unreadable, stoic disposition as the voice of bunny entered Cam's mind. "A word of Warning my emperor. MARK I is not adapt at managing collateral damage. I would recommend you keep some if not all of your men behind. While I and V3 care very much about your honorable trope, my master does not, if they choose to get involved, or if they get to close, I cannot promise you will like the the consequences. I am sure the death or your men would not be beneficial to either of us."
The Titan's body seemed still as she spoke, yet closer observation revealed the eyes of MARK I. They seemed to pierce the emperor and his men with a thousand yard stare that seemed to see right through them. The Machines eyes scanned every inch of the emperor, every inch of his men and more. MARK's skin, upon close inspection could be seen to shift and wave as his body mass slowly began to swell, preparing itself for the battle to come in a subtle ways to anyone who may not have been paying close attention. "My master battled you officer, Kamui Solaris, at a steady build up until he neared close to eighty percent. For you we will promise the same. Eighty percent maximum power will be our limiter for today, it should be enough for this test. Am attempt at prioritizing the life of one Emperor Carambolis will also be made..." There was a pause at the end here, almost like hesitation or perhhaps doubt, or regret as bunny spoke. "...Good luck sir." She said to him with an almost to human tone. Could she acutally worry. Was this spar a mistake?
With that a confusing series of images entered the emperors mind, as if someone was trying to tell him something, show him something. It all happened in a blur, and like that it ended. A timer displayed on MARK I's chest, ten minutes it displayed as it began to count down. MARK I lifted himself off of the planetoid and began to fly away. Before turning to leave he stared at the emperor and a series of coordinates, away from Cam's men was given. Saturn's ring. The machine stared at the emperor one last time and in the very same voice from the recording in which Kamui had presented to the emperor some time ago MARK I spoke. "I will be waiting" With that the Titan had blasted off towards Saturn where he expected their duel to take place, his aura leaving a Crimson red trail in his wake, as if he were a bleeding star, lost and in pain, waiting to die.
