Planet: Space Vegas Location: Lower District, Club Starlight Space Vegas. A breeding hole for gamblers, addicts, gangsters, murderers and much, much more. Some came for the casinos, some came for entertainment, some came for the opportunity to make it big. The giant casinos on the planet offered many places...and many avenues with which one could pleasure themselves, and the underworld provided an outlet of opportunity. Club Starlight was such a place. Located in the criminal laden lower districts, various fight clubs ran hidden from the public eye, in which poverty stricken citizens and the scum of the galaxy gathered, Club Starlight represented an opportunity. An opportunity for immense wealth and riches. All you had to do was work for it. It was Kamui's favorite place to cool down. He could remember the last time he was here as if it were yesterday. Fighting Raijin, the Living Storm. An opponent he praised before because of his indirect method of fighting, combining martial art with magic to attack the Changeling indirectly, resulting in handicapping the Frost Demon in several aspects, before the Changeling finally managed to wrestle victory from his opponent. Even though the attack had seemed heavily skewed in the Changeling's favor throughout, Kamui had to admit he felt some degree of pride every time he tackled a new opponent, every time he discovered a degree of his power that he had not been privy to prior. He never killed his foes, even though Club Starlight was a club that heavily encouraged the use of excessive force and fed off of the blood and gore that usually resulted from ravenous, bloodthirsty gladiators fighting for ultimate profit. There was once upon a time that he needed money too. However, several things had changed since the last time he was here. Kamui had become overconfident. He had overstepped his bounds, had crossed a bridge he shouldn't have crossed, and he knew it. Vile. An A-Rank criminal marked with one of the biggest bounties out there. Kamui had left Commander Fritz in charge of his Crusher Corps soldiers and had taken a detour out there with his Lieutenants in tow to tackle the bounty for a little extra payoff. He knew the threat, he knew how dangerous Vile was reported to be. Yet, he was drunk off his own victory, believed himself capable of beating people much stronger than him. Believed his own speed to be his ticket to success. He believed it would only take him a few days to capture the quarry and return. Another dangerous criminal off the streets was a good thing, right? Vile had proven much too strong for any of his men to handle, and although Kamui had put up a valiant effort, it had proven too much for the young Frost Demon, and he was utterly defeated... And thus, here he was. More machine than man at this point in time. A great deal of Kamui's body had been maimed beyond the point of no return, and as a result he had been emergency evac'd back to Planet Cane for medical care. The most painful surgical procedure of his life. A Cosmic Suit had been produced, combining the latest galactic technology with Kamui's own living tissue and natural Bio Suit, resulting in what could be considered a cybernetic skin, that happened to take up the great majority of Kamui's body. Extra additions were even made to enhance Kamui's mental capacity and physical capabilities with cybernetics, which resulted in a complete change on the man's part. A faster, smarter Changeling. A cross between Android and organic being. Mecha Kamui. A horrid name for a truly horrific work of art. Kamui's power level had very nearly doubled since the last time he had been present in Club Starlight, even though he was most definitely unrecognizable by the masses who had become acquainted with his face before. Nonetheless, he didn't care for public support. He was here for self improvement, and to test out his new body. Club Starlight was known to attract beings from across the galaxy, the reputation of the underworld fighting club spreading across galactic sectors. Their reputation for high powered entities of all races, even those of divine origin attracted all sorts of creatures to just test how true the rumors were. Normally, Kamui wouldn't believe the rumors. But given how his last few visits to Club Starlight panned out, Kamui no longer doubted the strength of a select few of the fighters who came from far offworld. "Well. A fusion of frost demon and machine." Vayle added with a chuckle, stepping into the arena with a clacking of metal heels on the arena floors. "My, and I see we have a significant power level on this one, too, don't we?" Vayle Crossed her arms as the Fighter stepped forward, seeming to think about something, as she sacually strode towards the other side of the arena. "...It seems we have something in common." Vayle added, striding forward with a grin on her features, as a black barrier lanced across her features, glowing in the uneven lighting the arena had. Vayle was a newcomer here with a considerable power level, after all - she may not have had any sort of following, but the power levels of the both of them promised a good fight to these glorified thrill junkies. "After all, I'm fighting with a body that didn't originally belong to me either." Vayle continued with a soft shrug. for a second, Vayle simply stood still in the center of the arena, studying her opponent like an interested cat. Then, her opening vocabulary spent, she dashed forward, striking with a simple, forward uppercut that would somehow find it's way behind her opponent's head as well, the single fighter becoming two for just a brief moment - a useful trick reserved for one who could simply deny time. The Eldritch warrior would give no pause in her movements as she teleported back, disappearing and reappearing on the other side of the arena with twin puffs of yellow smoke, before holding up an open palm, as though offering a handshake. Instead, she clenched her fist, and only a moment later, The space Kamui had been occupying only a second ago would heat and charge, before erupting in a buffet of sickly yellow explosions. His opponent was an interesting one. Dressed in fine black armor, with considerable power to her name as well. As she came within Kamui's field of vision, his vision lit up with various numerals as his built in scouter registered her and began reading her power level. His original estimation was right, and was consistent with his previous rounds at this particular fight club. Every time he came, something new happened. Someone new rose to challenge him, and it made him happy, to be completely honest. A chance to test out his new body, and to test the limits and capabilities of the Cosmic Suit. If he was to be of any use to anyone, he had to be as deadly as he was before the cybernetic enhancements. No, even more so. Kamui's power level flared up as Vayle shot towards him. Her speed was considerable, indeed, but he was already analyzing her speed in comparison to his own, and found his own considerably higher due to past calculated averages taken in test runs. Of course, when it came to battle, everything changed, which is why the cyborg Frost Demon took all of his data with a grain of salt. As Vayle drew close, Kamui finally took notice of the appearance of...two combatants? Almost as if her body was splitting into two ethereal entities. The illusion only lasted for a moment as the attack ensued. Biding his time until the last moment, the Changeling shifted his body suddenly, staying in place yet shifting his body in tandem with both blows, Vayle's attacks hitting empty air before the woman vanished once more. As Vayle reappeared and moved to execute her final offensive, Kamui felt himself lurching forward, before shooting off his feet, the Frost Demon's body flickering before vanishing. The Changeling had always been surprisingly quick on his feet, ever since he was a child. His Rapid Movement enhanced to the point where it was more akin to teleportation at this point, due to both natural talent and his enhanced body. His body would flicker before vanishing and at a moment's notice Kamui would reappear in front of Vayle, bringing his right hand down upon her. His metallic hand was glowing red with volatile electric energy as he brought it down upon her, claws shooting forth from the fingertips, enhanced by Ki to enhance cutting potential, in order to rend the armor from her body and cut into the flesh beyond. However, that was not the only threat. Even if it didn't cut through armor, upon contact Kamui's hand would send the red, electric aura crackling through her, the electricity leaching out to burn and sear the body. Still enveloped in a red Ki and electric aura, the Frost Demon vanished once more, his Sonic Warp causing him to cover great distances in mere moments. In an instant, he was meters away from his opponent, the red Ki and electricity coalescing in his palms. "I have no issue with your taking initiative. As long as you don't mind reciprocation...Thundershock Surprise..." Kamui said, whispering the last part under his breath as he extended both hands outwards. Exploding forth from his hands was a rather large and destructive Ki beam, coated in volatile electricity. Not only would the Ki beam serve to disintegrate anything in its' path, but it would also serve to send thousands of volts of electricity coursing through the victim, before the energy wave detonated and exploded. Vayle grimaced as the lightning coursed through her body, held back by the sudden avalanche of claw strikes. The expression on her face read pure and utter shock as the frost demon one-sidedly beat the Majin into submission, before the golden light lanced through her Body. The explosion covered the eldritch knight suddenly and viciously, and Vayle didn't manage even a squeak before yellow dough covered the arena floor and walls. The reprieve didn't last long, though. A twitching, shaking Vayle reshaped herself with a still-present smile. "Powerful... and that's not all. You've weakened me with that ki of yours. Made me less malleable. more... erratic. Vayle squared her shoulders, before making a clenched fist. "Interesting! You come from a species known from overpowering their opponent, and yet I notice no small measure of martial talent from you! You've learned exactly how to manipulate your ki!" Vayle adds with a complimenting gaze... before holding out one hand, A barrage of small, yellow blasts forming all around Kamui, before converging, hollow points of light folding in around a steadily shrinking sphere. Whether or not the attack hit, however, Vayle took no chances, Reappearing behind the mechanized frost demon, holding one hand out long enough before a black, dingy hammer summoned itself to her hand. Kamui crossed his arms over his chest as Vayle took the time to regain her composure, his metallic tail slowly wrapping around his waist, his eyes keeping an even tone as he observed his opponent. His HUD was already scanning his opponent's internal function readings, and seemed to report that everything was working as planned. He knew that an opponent such as her would not be defeated by an attack as simple as Thundershock Surprise. Thus, it was not surprising to see her still standing. As she spoke her words of praise, Kamui's eyes remained riveted on her, albeit a small chuckle resonated from his voice modulator, followed by a short commentary on her words, "Trust me, I've learned many things from many species. It is simply up to you to figure them out in your vain attempt to destroy me." Kamui simply stood there, in the same position he was since he fired the Thundershock Surprise as Vayle seemed to assault him with a barrage of poorly aimed Ki Blasts, the blasts flying in all directions around him, before hanging suspended in midair. As she brought her hands together, the bullets of energy naturally converged upon him. However, at the last moment Kamui raised a single finger in the air, summoning a sphere of psychic energy to envelop him, the psychic energy acting as a barrier against the energy blasts, the various barrage of blows being blocked and deflected by the barrier. The same would ring true for Vayle's melee offensive upon him in the form of a giant hammer. As she brought the hammer down, such a heavy weapon would shake the very ground with the immense force behind it. Yet to Vayle, it would feel as if her weapon was hitting a tough wall when it came into contact with Kamui's psychic barrier. "How interesting....a spectacular offensive. Great fireworks." Kamui noted, before going on the offensive himself. His psychic barrier dissipating, Kamui himself vanished a moment afterwards, utilizing Sonic Warp to once again improve his already excellent natural speed, the man deciding a few meters distance between them to be acceptable. Once he reappeared, Kamui started his offensive by snapping once, on his right hand. As if reacting to the snap, Vayle would suddenly begin to feel a strange tingling feeling running through her body, along with a sudden red electric aura enveloping her body, almost as if she were suffering the effects of the Thundershock Surprise all over again. In this case, if such an offensive was successful, her muscles would begin to seize up, making it harder for her to move. "Electric Ki Parasite Infestation." Kamui explained as he held out a single finger out towards his opponent. "Everytime I hit you, my Ki invades your body, and takes the form of small parasitic insects. These insects feed off of your energy and internal organs. It is why you feel the way you do. It is why you will continue to feel the effects of my Ki. You are correct, this form has finessed my Ki control to the highest point. And I will continue to utilize it against you." Kamui said before his pointer finger, the one that was outstretched would glow teal briefly before he began to release a fast stream barrage of teal colored Ki blasts from his finger, intent on battering Vayle's form with the small pellet sized spheres. Individually, the pellets wouldn't deal much damage, but considering that Kamui was unleashing them upon his opponent with the fire rate of a machine gun, the damage would tend to add up rather quickly. Vayle stood stone-faced as the fighter explained his game to her. Sadly, she was fairly certain the frost demon might just have her number here. If she'd been a little more used to this body, this fight might be going very differently already. With her new, untested body, and the sudden ache going through her gelatinous form, Vayle knew she would have her work cut out for her if she really wanted to win this little duel. But the prospect didn't disturb her in the slightest. She'd beaten saiyans before she even understood ki. She'd fought unwinnable fights and came out on top with sheer grit before. And she'd faced death and loss every day of her life. Her opponent was skilled, and she'd acknowledge and respect that. however... Vayle stepped forward, allowing the blasts to go through her with nothing other than a wry grin, even as parts of her body were blown off in response. Vayle could have hardened them to deal with blasts of this magnitude with some more time, but as is, it made little difference when the shots simply passed through as often as they did. the blows hurt, but only dimly, and Vayle knew she could take the hits. Then, a darker aura rimmed itself around shale in the form of black fire, and she stepped forward, attempting to grab the Mechanical Demon's Collar and send him flying into the wall. "Then let us dance this beautiful dance, my murderous escort." Vayle added with a grin, regardless of if the attack actually struck, and held up her hand. Small, invisible blasts of gravity fired from her hands, unseen bullets that would drill their target with excessive force. "And show me more of these beguiling moves." The mechanical menace was rather interested in his opponent after such a display of malleability. Vayle was seemingly capable of suffering grievous injuries with little hesitation, and ultimately surviving with no issue. It was quite the ability, and one that Kamui found himself envying, given his current state of existence. However, that just let Kamui know that his opponent had impressive resilience, and that it would take slightly more to dispatch her. As she charged forward, Kamui found himself unable to defend against her initial attack, the woman swiftly overwhelming the Mecha Frost Demon, sending him crashing into the wall positioned behind him. Grunting, Kamui nonetheless raised a single finger in the air, once again summoning a sphere of psychic energy to envelop him, the psychic energy acting as a barrier against the gravity blasts. However, this time the barrier would bend and fold, as if one were punching against stretchy rubber. Not long afterwards, the barrier would bounce back into place, the psychic barrier absorbing all the kinetic force and energy from such a blow. Throughout Vayle's assault, this continued, the psychic barrier bending and bouncing back into place, absorbing the kinetic energy from the bullets of gravity as they made their impact. Ultimately, such efforts would prove to yield too few results, as Kamui stood safe inside his protective bubble, sparks of energy fizzling off the psychic barrier as the last vestiges of Vayle's attack were sucked into the energy sphere. Then, something interesting happened. The psychic barrier was sucked inward, the energy dissipating as it was sucked into Kamui's frame. In tandem with such a form of energy absorption, Kamui's eyes widened as he was suddenly enveloped in a massive teal colored aura, his power level suddenly exploding on one's radar if they were checking. Kamui's power level very near tripled in the face of such a threat. It seemed that not only had the Cyborg Frost Demon absorbed the energy the psychic barrier had absorbed to feed his own levels, but he had also released his suppressed energy on top of that, allowing his power to ultimately grow drastically. "My turn..." Kamui said before snapping his fingers. Suddenly Ki could be felt rushing into the Majin's body. For a moment, Vayle would even feel stronger, as if Kamui was willingly giving her energy. However, a moment later, the energy would corrupt itself, in which Vayle would begin to exhibit a feeling, as if ice water was running through her veins. Her veins would begin to show, the coloring of them showing deep purple. The Ki would move to course through her body, draining her of her strength and keeping her body from functioning, perhaps even corrupting some of her body functions with the malicious energy.
