It was clear to the assassin now that he did not hold anywhere enough power to defeat these three. He was hopelessly outmatched by some of the strongest warriors on this planet, potentially even the whole galaxy, and what should have been a brief mission had turned into a desperate struggle for his life. Being stuck in a lethal situation with almost no hope of escape wasn't his idea of an ideal Wednesday but he'd been in worse situations.
It was no longer a matter of If he'd be defeated, it was When.
This would not be the place he died. His shadows at least protected him from some of the outside threats but as long as he was out in the open he was at risk of defeat. He had to escape from here, but there was no chance of that in the current situation. Only once his shadows were pushed to play their part would he truly be able to sneak away. For now these three needed to be dealt with.
Netto's cage was especially concerning as it repeatedly restricted his movements. Although his shadows were able to slip through it, the assassin found that the cage was very restricting and many of his abilities would be ineffective thanks to his efforts. The strange 'Dragon Soul' was also a concern. He'd heard stories of Will's protector but never thought he'd face it personally. Quick movements almost saved him but it was too fast, hitting his shadow armour dead on. Cam was similar, just a bit too fast for the Assassin to be able to react.
A quick response was necessary here. He sent shadows out in different directions, seeking the attackers around him as his energy gathered once again in a glowing purple sphere above his head. That Dragon Soul worried him the most, so after his tendrils of shadows had done their part Surin launched the overwhelming ball of energy straight towards Will, retaliating for the damage the Earthling had just dealt him. It would be embarrassing for the assassin to die to other Earthlings, and it probably wouldn't help his reputation. The bomb was powerful enough to send an explosion of energy straight towards Surin's other two opponents as well.
