From the technology gem of the galaxy to the tall tales of the planet Earth, Zerori was certain to get a work-out under her new contract. Although, she couldn’t help but admit… it was pretty sweet to be able to pilot a ship again. She’d relaxed in the seat of the one-pilot seeker pod as the warp gate allowed her ship to transfer into the sol system where Earth resided. The mission she’d been given was only allotted for a maximum of two months – more if it didn’t go to plan. Seek out the remnants of a handful of criminals that had made quick use of a prison riot. By the time security had been brought back up, they were long gone. Only now, weeks later, were they finally tracked down and it was her first mission – lucky her – to hunt them down and either bring them in for reassessment… or don’t bring them in at all. She was on the surface now, her ship going through the registration checks in the city known simply as ‘West’. It was dreadfully early in the morning and transports were going crazy to get commuters to their destinations. Crowds weren't cramped elbow to elbow, but it was close quarters as many waited for their papers to come back approved. Zerori leaned against a pillar, close to the desk, as she high-browed the name of the city plastered everywhere. “How does anyone get to this place without the use of radar? ‘Head north, north-east and you should be close to West City’,” She mocked to herself, earning a few glares from local Earthlings. “This planet is a joke…” She sent a few cursory glances around at everyone near her, keeping a close watch at all who might try and challenge her insults. Being cramped in with other people was something Rikudo was never able to get used to, therefor his constant visit to west citys registration offices always were a pleasant part of his day. It didn't help that Rikudo stood out amongst most crowds on earth, with his dark eye color and hard blue markings. His tattered clothes and style choices made him look like an out dated warrior amongst futuristic tourists. He had been spending quite awhile trying to get a small space pod registered so he could travel to space vegas. He had heared many rumors about its beautiful lights and bustling night life. The tales weren't enough however and for a good while hes been dying to see it for himself.
A few moments later, Rikudo caught sight of someone mumbling to themselves whilst leaning up against a pillar. From the look on their face it was easily apparent that they were not having the most fun in a place like this. Not to say one could blame them, offices such as this were never meant to be fun, they were designed to be quite literally the exact opposite actually.
Fancying himself a bit of conversation, Rikudo decided he would approach the female leaned up against the pillar and possibly attempt some idle chat. It was very possible that they would both be stuck in this area for the time being so what harm could it do. However as he made his way towards the girl Rikudo accidentally bumped into a man whom had failed to watch where he was walking. This man took offence to the event and immediately starting causing a scene, screaming into Rikudos face that he would be mindful to watch himself while everyone in the direct vicinity watched on. Fearing a large commotion, Rikudo held back his anger and attempted to leave the situation there but was stopped when the man latched onto his shoulder as he attempted to leave. This action prompted a quick response from Rikudo, causing him to quickly turn and slam an open palm into the mans stomach. This blow knocked the oxygen from his lungs and immediately rendered him incapacitated, allowing Rikudo to finally approach the girl against the pillar.
"Sorry about that, he'll live but he won't be waking up for awhile. So.. What brings you here? You look different compared to usual avergage joe that waltzes in here."

Zerori’s mouth opened wide in a stretch as she yawned, the stray thought that perhaps a nap might help to pass the time lingering before the sound of a scuffle just paces away from her seemed to break out. Within seconds, however, it proved just be a lesson learned for one of these Earthlings as the body of the instigator fell to the ground and revealed a most oddly-dressed male. As she observed him, taking in features that didn’t quite look human, she realized that he was making his way over to her and raised an eyebrow at the conversation he started. Staring into his double-colored eye was distracting but the conversation helped her to focus a bit. The comment about the fallen asshole elicited a sudden burst of dark laughter from her, “Oh, I don’t care at all! I’ve only been here for less than an hour and these humans are so petty,” She didn’t really know if this one was a human at all, but it wouldn’t have bothered her in the least if she offended him either. She responded to his next question a bit more carefully, “I’m here on business, if that ain’t obvious enough. Unwilling business, but that’s about the crux of what I’ll tell you… What about you, huh? Can’t say I know anything about Earthling fashion, but you seem to be fitting right in.” By the look of the once-over she gave him and the crass mockery, she was sure he would catch her making fun of his attire. The females initial comment on earthling pettiness was enough to bring a small chuckle out of Rikudo. He may be an earthling himself, technically, but at the same time it was hard to argue the truth in her words. Earthlings alike and especially humans, had a habit of being a volatile people, easily set off by the most ridiculous of circumstances as Rikudo had just demonstrated moments earlier no less. When she answered his next question however her words seemed more carefully chosen and restrained, “I’m here on business, if that ain’t obvious enough. Unwilling business, but that’s about the crux of what I’ll tell you… What about you, huh? Can’t say I know anything about Earthling fashion, but you seem to be fitting right in.”
The female had a point that Rikudo couldn't deny though, he probably stood out amongst most of the common folk here just as much as she herself did. With his demonic markings and duel colored iris, getting funny looks was just something he was seriously used to at this point in time. "Can't really argue with that, I guess you could just say I'm not your averge earthling" pausing to shrug his shoulders before he continued, "I guess thats what you get though when your mothers all human and your dads kind of an interdimensional shadow demon from another realm."
Ending his statement with a smile he was unsure how his new acquaintance would take his sudden burst of personal information. Perhaps she would be appauled by this or perhaps she would fail to believe him in the first place, either way he would say one last thing to end his current train of thoughts, "pardon me but I failed to introduce myself, the names Rikudo I come from a small village in the wilderness just north a few kilometers of west city, and who do I have the pleasure of meeting today?"

At the rather informative piece of origin Zerori received, the hybrid was left with her eyebrow raised in surprise while she stared passively at him. Then, without much hesitation, Zerori threw her head back in loud laughter. Around them, passerby looked at them like they were causing a disturbance – they probably were but the amount of irony Zerori felt was just too much to care. “Oh shit, you’re not kidding, are you?” She jested, pretending to wipe away a tear from her eye. As her laughter died down, Rikudo introducing himself and where he resided, Zerori felt an almost tit-for-tat exchange needed. She gave in and reciprocated the gesture, throwing her hand out to him, “Zerori and don’t mind me, I just find it… heh, hilarious that we share a similar situation. My mother is a demon and my father – a Saiyan. I’m not from around here,” Whether he shook her hand or not, she would pull her arm back and cross it with the other. She eyed him suspiciously as she thought about where he said he was from; it was possible her targets were near that village. Did he know about any Xeno outlaws on this planet? Did they gain any bounties while planet-side? Only one way to find out… “Hey, I got a question for ya,” She started, uncrossing her arms. “My business involves some criminals that were confirmed on this planet. Have you seen or heard of any odd activity from your village?”

His new friend had broke into a burst of laughter as Rikudo gave her the short run down of his origin story. Yep. Just like he had predicted his origin story had gone right over head as an unbelievable tale. Or.. At least thats what he had thought until she explained her own situation. Apparently she was a hybridized demon just like Rikudo himself albeit in the opposite circumstance with her parents. Her father being the mortal of the two rather than her mother. Rikudo couldn't help but wonder if this factor would be something that makes her childhood have happened in a much different way than his own. Her father was a saiyan which was a fact that interested Rikudo greatly. He had heard a lot about the legendary sayain race through legends, rumors and folk lore. Though this was his first opportunity so far in life to meet a member of that race up close and personal so he was motivated to cherish it for the time being.
Finally getting the sayain females name, she continued on to ask him about so fugitives she was apparently tracking. According to her they had come to earth seeking refuge from the law. This wasn't too surprising to hear for Rikudo as he often heard rumors of many such beings fleeing to his home planet hoping to steal their freedom while they could.
Bowing his head in a slight showing of grief as she brought up his village, it was easy to tell that the events that transpired there were still stuck within Rikudos mind. "Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the last time I went home to my village my father had almost completely destroyed it, most of the villagers either having been killed or fled. The forests that surround my village house a very strong mystical force that has been said to draw in dark spirits to it. My father is the most powerful spirit among these that have been imprisoned there for many centuries and for most of that time my people had been able to keep him and his follows sealed away so that they may only enter our world at night but my fathers somehow figured out a way to drain the seals power and cross over during the day for short periods of time. I barely survived our last encounter due to that very limitation."
As he spoke, the excitement ans rage in his voice could easily be heared. His heightened emotions forcing the markings on his arm to glow a very bright blue, the light from this glow visible even through his sleeves. Noticing this reaction to his emotions, Rikudo quickly took a few deep breathes, calming himself as well as causing the glowing light of his markings to fade. Then with a sigh he would speak once more, "one day though, I will destroy him using his own powers that lie within me. Though, for the time being, I'm more than willing to help you locate these fugitives your after if you wish for some company in your mission."

It didn’t elude her the obvious discomfort that briefly showed on Rikudo’s face, though she didn’t see any reason to care. If he didn’t want to help her, he could just as much say so or refuse to speak any more on the matter – that would be what she would do, anyway. Instead, he seemed to buckle down (admirably, if a bit fool) and tell her what had transpired in his village. The story was a bit more fantastical than she had expected – demons only being able to appear during night time? – but the point of it had been made clear. Their power had exceeded the expectations of their power and the village was not a place where mortal tread lightly. That made it a perfect place for prison-breaking Xenos to hide. While his story had obviously riled him up, the strange markings that marred his body seeming to glow angrily, Zerori was seeing that he could capably calm himself and his power with relative ease. She went right into it, accepting his offer of help with a grin, “Well, seems we have more in common than I thought. Hearing your story, I came up with a game plan.” By this point, she had leaned away from the pillar and gestured tactically with her hands. “We’re gonna go back there,” She started, quickly adding in case he protested, “-Together. And we’re gonna look for these shitheads. As we do this – I’m gonna help you destroy your dear-old-Dad.” She paused, uncertain if that was something he well and truly wanted, “…Unless you think you’re not ready for that. Seems like some heavy shit for a guy like you to handle.” She brought a hand to her hip, “-You a Momma’s boy? What would your Mom say to somethin’ like this?” Rarely, she’d questioned him seriously. Killing a family member was no joke, but she was more than ready to strike a deal with this hybrid that shared a similar origin as her. Words: 341 Rikudo

With a hasty grin the female saiyan quickly accepted Rikudos offer to hunt the criminals she had been tasked with finding. The saiyan even went a little farther amd offered her own help in destroying Rikudos father. While that idea was something that Rikudo would consider in the future, there was no way they could possibly take on Rikudos father at their current level, even working side by side it would be willing suicide. Rikudo knew his father had powers greater than he could imagine and that the only reason he did so well in his last fight against his father was for the simple fact his father wasn't trying to kill him. If his father had been coming after him with murderous intent that day at the village, surely Rikudo wouldn't be alive right now. So with a sigh and a smile he relayed his thoughts to his new acquaintance, "Thank you kindly for that offer and no offence to you but quite frankly I dont think we would survive a battle against my father right now. Plus, it may sound cliche but.. Destroying my father is something I alone must accomplish."
With a pause in her speech, Rikudo then noticed as the saiyan placed a steady hand on her hip before going on to inquire about Rikudos mother. This subject was one that immediately changed the look on Rikudos face. The emotion of complete despair washing over him as memories of his mother poured into his mind. "Well, I used to be, but my father took that away from me to."

Zerori listened on, an unimpressed expression blooming on her face as he politely declined her off with nonsense that this man was much stronger than she was giving him credit for. And the line about doing it himself was pridefully foolish, but it was at least a more palatable excuse. If Zerori wanted to enact any sort of revenge upon her family, she imagined the desire for help at such a task being the very LAST thing on her mind. However… That left her with the annoying task of re-assessing where the trouble Xenos were, if they weren’t in such a dangerous place to begin with. Once more, her thought process was put on pause when her mention of his mother changed the tone and feeling of his energy completely. What felt heated and resolute was now saturated in grief and what smelt like regret. Damn, that piece of shit really killed his mother…? Somehow, that doesn’t sound surprising as much as it just sounds sad. Even if she didn’t care about him on any deep level, she didn’t want to be infected by the bad vibes. “Hey!” She barked, her arm coming up to try and roughly pat on his shoulder to try and knock the thoughts from his head. “Ignore that for a moment and listen. Since we can’t go mano-e-mano against your Dad – and hearing that shit REALLY makes me wanna beat his face in – we’re gonna get something to eat and then go take a look at East City. Who knows what we’ll find there, but if I were trying to escape the law that’s where I’d be. Better plan, eh?” She offered, straining a more light-hearted smile at him that she hoped didn’t just look like a constipated smirk. Anything to avoid the abysmal taste of pity. Words: 312 Rikudo

As Rikudo spoke about the situation with his mother and the past history of his father he could tell the Saiyan felt for him in a way. Maybe not pity or remorse but he could tell that the female understood him regardless of their different circumstances. This caused the sad cold feeling that the thoughts of his mother brought out to turn to ones much warmer. The thought of someone willing to help him face such a dangerous threat after having just met gave him hope that not all demons were bad and some, much like himself, were just as compassionate as any mortal being could be.
A light tap on his shoulder and a loud "Hey! " soon jolted Rikudo from his focus however and he decided to listen on as the female sayain left him with another proposition. Better plan, eh?”
Rikudo responded with a smile that mimicked the girls own as he patted his stomach lightly, actually feeling quite hungry at the mention of food. "Ya'know that doesnt sound like a half bad idea. i could go for something to eat right about now. Afterwards, I saw we go round ourselves up some alien fugitives, sound good to you?" Rikudo hoped that the female would agree as for some reason, even though they had just met, her presence was comforting to Rikudos usually wandering mind. He could tell she would make a good friend, even though he hadn't really had any before.

Finally, Zerori mused with a bit of relief, they were on the same page. It was at this time that a voice called out to Zerori from the main desk ahead of her and she turned her head to see that it was the gentleman that she’d been waiting for to give her clearance on planet. She gave a quick glance and gesture to wait a minute before walking over to hopefully get the good news. At the desk, the man in question held a severe expression as he kept his gaze locked to the computer screen. “Hope you’ve got good news for me.” She commented, a sly grin in place that hopefully looked charming enough. Not an inch did the serious expression on his face let up and he turned his glasses-wearing face to her. “Miss… Zerori. There appears to be a discrepancy in some of your information, particularly regarding your-” He cleared his throat matter-of-factly before continuing and thusly dropping her grin completely. “-Incarceration history. Unfortunately, you will not be permitted planet-side without a form of visa from your occupation.” “A form of… what?” Zerori hissed between clenched teeth. “It’s the Galactic Empire; there was no ‘Visa’ for me to get before coming here.” “I’m sorry, but-” He started, his tone dipping quickly into condescension. No, she wasn’t having that; not today. “Tell ya what!” She interrupted loudly, gazes that weren’t already on her quickly finding her interesting. “You take a look at your system one more time and I’m going to take a look around. I’m sure by the time you find it, everything will be… the fuck do you humans say… ‘Peachy Keen.’” With that said, she turned around and gestured for Rikudo to follow, stomping towards the food courts. “Food. Now. Before I decide that this place would look better with a coat of char.”

The man at the counter had called for the female saiyan, meaning that perhaps her registration had been completed. With a quick gesture, Zerori then walked over to the counter with which the man calling for her sat behind. At first Rikudo couldn't quite tell what they were saying. He could hear jumbled words and sounds but he was far enough away that it was impossible for him to accurately decipher them.
They spoke for a few minutes before a large loud outburst from Zerori drew large amounts of attention to them. The saiyan woman then went on to stand her ground in an impressive display of assertiveness. She mentioned that she was going to go for a look around befote gesturing oncr again to Rikudo this time for him to follow. “Food. Now. Before I decide that this place would look better with a coat of char.”
Laughing at the little statment Zerori had thrown out, Rikudo simply shook his head at the man behind the desk. Following behind her, Rikudo caught up quickly to the female. As he walked with her, Rikudo wondered if perhaps they would ever be able to find the fugitives she had been sent to capture. After all, the entire planet was a lot of ground to cover and there were lots of exceptional hiding places for them to weasel into. Even so, Rikudo was starting to enjoy her company. It had even crossed Rikudos mind that maybe she would actually be able to help him. Conquer his father. After all she was a half demon same as he was, so her power coupled together with his own might just be enough for them to pull it off. Whether they would ever do so however, was left up to fate and only time would tell for sure.
