 After his last encounter Gurki had decided to remain in the mountains for a little bit longer to get his last bit of training in. His last challenger showed him that he wasn't fully prepared to be the hero of the planet. This also made him think about attending the Crane Martial Arts school to hone his raw talent. Gurki sat in the middle of his cruiser as he meditated going over his battle and mistakes that he could have prevented. This is how he would become a better fighter so that next time it would be more reactions and less thinking. Despite his power he was never satisfied always wanting to get stronger and to learn more from who he fought. This would be the only way that in his eyes that he would become a great hero like the ones he read in books. Gurki stood up as he dropped into a fighting stance preparing to hone his combinations and defensive techniques so that he was more sharp. Sweat dripped as he kept this up for several hours before taking a break and walking outside to view the beautiful frozen landscape. "I'm going to miss this place" he said to himself as he looked about seeing if there were any travelers that might have become lost in the icy planes. TAG: Tora WC: 222 |

After a heavy night of drinking, all Raijin knew was one thing: he was fucking cold. Wandering through a frozen tundra of rolling permafrost and barren landscapes, the half blood was using just a little bit of his energy to keep himself warm. This was one of those things he began to question- why was he here? Why was it so cold? What had he been drinking last night? What had he been doing?
Most importantly, what motivated him to keep blacking out from the drink? Extending his senses, Rai thought it best if he attempted to find someone in the immediate area. The crossbreed picked up a signature with a power similar to his own in the distance- firing up his aura, taking to the sky, he began to rocket towards the stranger. He flew over frozen mountains, the icy chilled wind cooling his face and numbing it. For a moment, it stung his pores. His ki fired up even more beautifully around him, Rai picking up speed. A minute later, he was there. Hm. Was he getting faster, or had he just sobered up enough to notice the change in speed? These were important questions.
Either way, Rai descended towards the stranger, eyeing him inquisitively. Perhaps this one would be a suitable candidate to practice on. He needed to accelerate his training, or risk becoming useless.
"Hey there!" he exclaimed, landing alongside him. "The name is Raijin. You, stranger?"

Gurki noticed that someone was actually in the area and sensed them as well. It seemed to have a strange energy that Gurki couldn't pin point why. He watched as he approached closer and even greeted Gurki. What crossed his mind immediately was why had this being traveled so far and was he a threat like the last guy he came here. Gurki decided to remain polite and introduced himself. "Greetings traveler, I am Gurki what brings you into the icy tundra of the northern part of Earth." Although Gurki was suspicious he didn't want to be rude after all it was rare that he met people this deep in the mountains. His curiosity was peaked though as all sorts of thoughts ran through his head as the strange looking humanoid stood before him. His ears made him seem as if he wasn't your normal earthling, but now days this wasn't strange at all. There existed all sorts of people from talking animals to dinosaurs that understood their main dilect. TAG: Tora |

The bizarre stranger who seemed to enjoy the cold introduced himself to Raijin, who responded by eyeing him with a mixture of curiousity and contempt. His aura flared to life as he bowed graciously, introducing himself. "The name is Raijin. I'm here because you had a power that I found quite interesting. I think you're a great stepping stone in terms of training. In fact..."
The half breed dropped into a loose fighting stance, clouds forming above them. Any rainfall he summoned in this tundra would turn to snow or hail. These were weather conditions he rarely fought in, and the notion of challenge got his blood flowing and his heart pumping. Plasma began to crackle around him, the hybrid clenching his fist. "So, what do you say? You ready?"
The cold wind bit at Rai's face as his expression darkened and turned very serious. The usually cheerful and irresponsible halfling seemed like he had a goal. Motivation was usually fleeting for the youth. Today? Today he felt rearing to go, like he could bite an Oozaru's head clean off.
No drugs, either. Surprising. Rai wasnt sure why he was so ready to go. His blood felt on fire, and his eyes gleamed with determination. He hoped he could prove his skill against a similarly powerful opponent.
Either that or prove he was a lucky bastard.

Once again someone had come to challenge Gurki. It started to feel like he was becoming somewhat well known for people travel such distances to meet him. Gurki smirked feeling that there was something special about him, seemed he was really into going toe-to-toe with him. "I accept, it has been awhile since I tested my strength out. Another test before attending the New Crane School!" Gurki looked at him as his crystal white aura engulfed him instantly as he revealed his base power level to new comer. His blazing aura simmered against the frozen plain as he dropped into a fighting stance, his boots slowly leaving an imprint in the ice. "Let's make this one to remember shall we?" Gurki screamed as a blue sphere of energy surrounded his entire form and merged with his aura. A metallic rod materialized in his hands that was about 5.ft long and possibly an inch thick. He prepared himself as he launched himself at Raijin, leaving a small hole where his foot previously was. He unleashed a super combo attacking with the rod aiming at devastating locations such as his throat and several jointed areas. Raijin laughed, ignoring the strangers talk of testing himself. It wasn't important to him. This was about selfishly proving his own strength over his opponent. Raijin allowed his own aura to flare to match his opponent, eyeing him as he prepared an assault. He withdrew a strange staff and charged the knife eared hybrid, aiming to bludgeon him with the blunt end of the weapon. Rai grinned, focusing his energy as he rapidly dodged most of the strikes, the edge of the weapon grazing him and causing some surface level damage. A moment later, his latent healing factor sewed the damage up. Rai cackled madly again, phasing from view. Was that really all the other fighter could do? Hit him with a stick? Oh, this was gonna be fun. Clouds began to gather above the pair, as Rai's eyes narrowed. He began chanting secret words quietly, phrases with meaning only known to him. A moment later a storm kicked up, swirls of white snow beginning to gather. The sky darkens, clouds looming menacingly over the pair. Lightning began to strike randomly, before two bolts arced towards Gurki, threatening to sear his flesh. A moment later Rai had phased from view, appearing above his enemy. He thought of the Demon Clan Namekian Lute as he began to gather up his crackling magically infused ki, electricity swirling around his fingertips. Rai's hand came arcing across the sky as he unleashed a devastating arc of intense plasma towards his foe, a huge grin across his face. Hopefully that would put a dent in this knucklehead Saiyan.
