Chapter OnePlanet: Earth Location: “The End of the Earth” otherwise known as Yunzabit Heights. The heavens were weeping tonight. Although they always did in Yunzabit Heights. But such was especially true today The winds were fierce, striking against the plateaus with a fury unlike any other, whipping up clumps of loose grass and throwing them about the mountain ranges. The sky lit up as lightning assaulted the ground, followed by the terror-striking sound of thunder moments afterwards. The clouds reflected the anger of the heavens, the despair of the world above. A sign that no one could escape the wrath of the gods high above the clouds. No one. With a note of finality, a large bolt of lightning came crashing down upon a plateau, the lightning bolt striking straight through the center, obliterating the plateau in one monstrous blow. When the bolt struck the ground, it was as if the whole world shook with it. The thunder that sounded afterwards was practically a beast’s roar with its’ ferocity and volume. Smoke added to the sky’s pollution as the grass around the area of contact with the bolt began to burn. It was a good thing no one lived in Yunzabit Heights….but someone had just arrived there, it seemed like. Two figures stood in the center of a small crater, which used to where the plateau rested. One was rather short of stature, with rather wild silver hair, light green skin and glasses. His arms also rested clasped behind his back. The other figure was taller, and much more imposing. The other figure possessed a wild mohawk of sorts that extends in a longer ponytail that ran down his back and purple skin. Both figures wore what seemed to be the official uniform that Kaioshins often wore, along with the Potara earrings, that signaled them as divine beings of some sort….of some position. Yet why were they here? On Earth of all places? Jadus Zeno “Jadus…...are you sure this is a good idea? We are coming here despite orders….the Supreme Kai will be upset!” The shorter, green haired Shinijn spoke, looking up nervously to the taller, purple haired Shinijn, apparently named Jadus “We are here to reshape the minds of mortals, Zeno. Remember that. Kai Aubus came to this world to observe the goings on of the mortal realm, to guide it into a better path. And he was killed for it. We will find his killer, and end him. You know this, this is why you came.”
Zeno sighed, and adjusted his glasses slightly,” Jadus….I came because you’re my friend, and a journey such as this shouldn’t be taken alone. Aubus was an amazing friend, and I miss him just as much as you, but….we cannot punish the entire universe for this! Aubus was amazingly strong at the time of his death. Whoever killed him has the power to best a god.” “Hence why we spent so long training. We are stronger than Aubus was, and we hold power beyond what foolish mortals are capable of.”
Zeno’s eyes shifted, in order to avoid Jadus’s gaze. He knew what they were doing was so far off the scope of what a Kai….or in their case Kai Attendants, were supposed to do. They were supposed to observe and create….not destroy out of vengeance. Yet, the green skinned Kaioshin had already lost one friend to Earth’s mightiest villains, and was not about to lose another. Thus, he decided to swallow his morality and accompany Jadus on this unholy crusade. Jadus looked towards his companion and smiled softly,” We’ll be fine, Zeno. Nothing can stop us. Not these foolish mortals, not any machine built by them either. Now...let us begin searching...what is your suggestion on where we should begin the search? According to Aubus’s records, encountering the Android was a new experience for him. They do not have natural Ki, so they cannot be sensed. They must be identified by face. Luckily, in our observances, we know what this Android looks like.”
Jadus’s words did nothing to calm Zeno’s doubts and inner turmoil, yet he let his transgressions go regardless, finding further debate useless anyway. He was here, so he had little choice but to cooperate. “Our best bets currently are East or South City. East City is where spiritualism on Earth is at an all time high, and most individuals with above average power levels have taken residence in East City due to various temples and training centers for martial artists. A fighter of power comparable to Aubus could find entertainment there. On the flip side, South City, according to observances, is a bit of an indulgence area for humans. A vacation spot, chosen for its’ scenery...given that humans are so used to smokestacks and polluted skies, so seeing a tree every now and then must be shocking to their culture. As such, the Android could frequent there, due to the high population.”
Jadus nodded,” Then we will search South City first. Ease myself into Earth’s lack of life….” He said, sighing lightly. His body practically burned with rage. He couldn’t believe the news when he heard it. Kai Aubus….a prodigy amongst Kais, a being with the unstoppable force of the heavens behind him. Even if his decision to visit the mortal realm was unfavored amongst the other, older Kais, Jadus himself, along with Zeno, had cheered the man for his bravery, for being the chosen one to guide the foolish mortals to walk the path of morality and goodness. Then…..then the news that he had been killed….killed by an Android, no less. Jadus had refused to believe it, but the truth was irrefutable. Aubus was dead, and the very mortal world that Aubus wanted to help so dearly...had repaid him with death. It was unforgivable. Yet, the Kais were afraid. The Kais were afraid to interfere. Afraid of death, or perhaps waiting for Lord Beerus the Destroyer to awake and handle their business for them. But he couldn’t wait on Lord Beerus. No, he refused to. He wanted to avenge Aubus himself. He wanted to teach these mortals never to look down on a god. He, Zeno and Aubus were Shinjin. And these mortals better bow down...or they will die. Jadus’s heart burned with resolve as both his and Zeno’s bodies flickered out of sight via Teleportation. Next Stop: South City. Word Count: 1,091

Chapter 2
“Human Civilization cannot even preserve the greatness of nature….they instead built hotels upon it, casinos…..” Jadus grunted, completely disgusted with the seemingly limitless disrespect humans seemed to have for what the gods had created for them. Just the mere thought of all the animals killed, all the habitats destroyed, all the trees cut down...just to make way for South City to be constructed. It was sickening.
“Concentrate, Jadus. We’re here for a reason. We’re here to look for the Android.” Zeno said as he began to descend upon the city, gracefully landing on his feet in a back alley, away from the main traffic of people. Jadus soon touched down next to him.
Leaning forward slightly, Jadus spoke in a hushed tone to his companion,” We know his face, yet he doesn’t know ours. If we find him, we aren’t going to hesitate. We will knock him away from the main city and deal with him in one of the surrounding islands.”
Zeno nodded nervously before stepping out of the alley into the streets, followed by Jadus. Almost immediately, they were swamped in a sea of bodies, as various tourists traveled from store to store, in search of the perfect souvenir to bring back home for their families. Not being used to being in the company of so many, Jadus and Zeno found themselves quickly shoved to and fro by the oncoming crowds. Zeno dealt with the cards he was given and just moved with the flow, but Jadus was getting slightly agitated, his mood already sour with the seriousness of his mission.
Look at all these humans, enjoying themselves, not caring about whose blood they have shed in order to warrant such luxuries, all that they have destroyed in order to build their society. They realize nothing….that is what makes them so terrible. They are accustomed to destruction.
Jadus grimaced as he followed Zeno through the streets. This Android’s lack of a Ki Signature was quite annoying...but they’d have to make do. If only there was a….
“Zeno, look!’
Zeno stopped and slowly turned, his eyes drifting back and resting upon Jadus,” Hm?”
Jadus grimaced as he pointed towards what seemed like a large and rather well kept park. Besides children playing on large play structures, there seemed to be nothing there that would warrant one’s attention. Then, Zeno saw it too.
A flash of pink….the white, loosing fitting pants. The belt with the Majin symbol on it.
“A Majin….” Jadus said. Like Aubus, Jadus hated the Majin species nearly as much as he hated Demons. Unlike the mortal realm, the Shinijns were not affected by the wish that wiped everyone’s minds of the sins committed by Majin Buu, all those centuries ago. As such, the Kaioshins knew the truth. The Majin race was one capable of pure destruction, a slayer of gods….with only the current Supreme Kai being the survivor amongst his previous allies. This Majin before them wasn’t Majin Buu, of course...but all Majins shared the same temper, and the same tendency for destruction.
“We must-” Jadus started, before he was cut off by Zeno, who for once stepped forward first.
“I know.” Zeno said calmly as he began to approach the Majin.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today was such a great day! The following weeks after his fight with Lilith had been a blast! He returned to South City, and decided to just lie low for a bit, a pretty big decision for such a flamboyant child. As such, he decided to just frequent candy shops and play around with the local children in various parks and playgrounds. It wasn’t as fun as say….his own private playground, but there was definitely a lesser chance of being smacked around by evil witches.
Apparently, this didn’t decrease the chance of divine gods approaching you.
“Excuse me. Majin.” A calm, smooth voice came from behind Khoshai.
“Ooh?” Khoshai said, his voice rising in pitch, signalling his questioning tone as he turned to look at the person who called his name. Or rather, his race. Turning around, Khoshai came face to face with Zeno and Jadus. Both of the figures were taller than him, even though Zeno was short in his own right. Zeno stepped forward, as if to confront the Majin one on one. Instinctively, Khoshai stepped back a few paces, confused by the appearance of these two gentlemen
“What do you want with Majin Khoshai? Majin Kho is just playing!”
Zeno didn’t respond, he simply raised his right hand and let it rest upon the Majin’s head. Khoshai’s eyes drifted up and focused on the Kai’s palm as it rested upon his head, confused by the action. Zeno closed his eyes and was silent for a few moments as he channeled his energies into Khoshai, effectively reading the boy’s thoughts and memories.
“Merely a child...simplistic ideals and goals, even for one of his species. However...the anger and the destruction that he has waged, even at such a young age. An abandoned amusement park destroyed in a port city, nearly endangering the humans that reside there. Destroying the remnants of an ancient civilization. Trying to kill someone simply because of an empty accusation relating to candy.” Zeno said, reciting Khoshai’s memories regarding battle one by one. He frowned, and narrowed his eyes at the Majin,” It frightens me to think what will happen once he matures.”
Jadus crossed his arms in front of him, inwardly smirking. He knew that if there was one thing Zeno hated it was the Majin species. The old legends of Kid Buu’s mass murder of the Supreme Kais were a hard pill to swallow. An even harder pill to swallow was that Majin Buu never did truly receive punishment for his crimes. Only one aspect of him.
Meanwhile, Majin Khoshai was confused by the behavior displayed by the two men. Who were they? Why were they talking about him? Did they want candy? Did they want to hurt him? Little did they know, one of those questions would only prove to be true.
Zeno then looked back at Khoshai and smiled kindly,” Majin child, want to see something cool?”
Majin Khoshai’s eyes widened slightly. Like a child whose attention has just been grabbed, Khoshai smiled and jumped excitingly,” Yes! Yes! Show Majin Khoshai! Kho love surprises!”
Zeno nodded and began to levitate in the air, rising higher in the air, with Jadus following moments afterwards. Interested, Majin Khoshai performed the same feat, rising in the air to follow the pair. He wanted to see what the cool surprise was!
Eventually the pair stopped rising, Jadus looking down momentarily to confirm that they were high enough above South City to keep it from being threatened by this child. As much as he disliked humans...he wasn’t about to destroy a whole city….yet.
“What is the surprise! Tell Kho! Kho is impatient!!” Khoshai demanded of his newfound friends, obviously excited to see what the cool thing is. Maybe it was food! Or some cool type of soda! Or maybe a delicious dessert…..which was also food.
Zeno outstretched his right hand to Khoshai, his palm facing the boy,” This is the cool surprise. Kiai!” As he uttered the attack name, Zeno’s eyes flashed a bright blue for a moment, his glasses lighting up as well in accordance with the gathering energy.
Khoshai felt as if he had just been slapped by a very large hand, with a little extra punch behind it. With a loud cry of alarm, Khoshai felt himself being launched back, flying backwards at frightening speeds, unable to slow his movement or even control which direction he flew in. His body wouldn’t respond to him….he could hardly move! Khoshai shut his eyes and growled as he allowed himself to just shoot through the air.
“Jadus, let’s go! We’ll find the Android later! Majins are a greater threat….” Zeno said before taking off after the pink menace, with Jadus shooting off after him. As Zeno pursued the Majin, Zeno would keep the Majin helpless in air by assaulting him with Kiai after Kiai. The intention was not to kill the beast with invisible shockwaves, but to instead get him farther and farther away from civilization. So that when the Kai Attendants fought the Majin, they wouldn’t have to hold back. Sure enough, the Kai Attendants could have just teleported Khoshai to some place remote, and had the fight there. Yet….Zeno preferred this method, for the added effect of hurting the Majin. Eventually, they reached an uninhabited island, one of the smaller islands in the South City archipelago. It was there that Zeno stopped and outstretched his left arm, seizing Khoshai and causing him to halt in midair (due to telekinesis). Zeno waved his hand down, causing the Majin to drop to the ground. A moment later, the two Kais softly touched down in front of the fallen child.
Majin Khoshai was outraged. Not only did they hurt him and send him to this place…..but they lied about the surprise! The nerve of some people….! First the Saiyan, then the evil witch, and now two funny looking people! When would it end? When will people just leave Kho alone?!
“Why you hurt Majin Kho?! Kho did nothing to you! Everyone wants to hurt me!”
Zeno frowned,” The sins of your ancestors have only served to spur you forward. You are too young to possess the power you have, and too ill tempered to use it correctly. You use your power to bully people and get what you want. No consideration for the other beings on this planet. Majin Buu was a terror to the universe. You will be erased in his place.” The usually shy Kai said, his tone deadly serious.
Khoshai growled,” Fine! If you want to kill Majin Kho, then Majin Kho will kill you first!” And like that, the fighting words were uttered. Steam shot from the pink child’s pores, and his pink aura began to flare up as he charged Zeno, ready to pounce on him from the jump. However, before he could even reach the green skinned fellow, Jadus appeared in front of Khoshai, flickering into existence via Rapid Movement. Jadus swiftly executed a powerful sucker punch across Khoshai’s face, causing the child to rear back, disoriented. Capitalizing on such an opportunity, Jadus proceeds to assault the Majin with a barrage of fast paced punches, knocking the Majin back bit by bit as he struggled to keep up with the larger Kai Attendant. Grabbing Khoshai and reeling him into a knee placed squarely in the kid’s gut, Jadus retreated a few paces before charging a purple Ki blast, the sphere of deep purple energy igniting in his hands, before being released, the purple sphere morphing into a violent beam of purple energy, engulfing the Majin completely...along with part of the beachfront behind the kid.
“The King’s Judgement.” Jadus uttered after the attack had been released. A moment later he straightened up, placing his arms behind his back, waiting for the smoke to clear. He wasn’t surprised when Khoshai emerged from the rubble, injured but alive. The kid’s body was all mangled up and burned, a hole being blown through his stomach.
“So it’s true.” Jadus said. “They are nearly invincible.”
“Hardly.” Zeno responded. “They merely need to be beaten enough times. You’ll notice when their bodies stop regenerating...and then they’ll die.”
Majin Khoshai growled,” MAJIN KHO WILL KILL YOU!” He screamed, in an enraged frenzy. Then he shot forward, flickering out of view via Rapid Movement. Jadus’s eyes widened as he appeared in front of him suddenly. Khoshai reared his hand back and immediately executed a flurry of attacks, punching the Kai Attendant repeatedly, before executing a front kick directly to the man’s chin, knocking him upwards. However, the Majin was hardly done with the purple skinned Kai, allowing his headtail to stretch outwards, wrapping itself tightly around Jadus’s neck, strangling the man. As Khoshai prepared to finish his onslaught with a heavy finisher Ki blast, Zeno appeared in front of Khoshai and executed a roundhouse kick, which caught the Majin child across the face. Zeno’s eyes lit up with a blue light once more, before Khoshai was caught by another Kiai, his stomach suddenly stretching out as it took in the force, before he was knocked backwards….dragging Jadus with him.
However, Jadus wasn’t a helpless fool. Digging his feet in the sand, Jadus reached back and grabbed the headtail as Khoshai was forced back, forcibly reeling the boy back in. As Khoshai shot back towards Jadus, the Majin child opened his mouth, opening it to the point where it looked like he unhinged his jaw. Jadus outstretched his own palm and began charging one of his attacks, a purple sphere of Ki forming in his right palm. The two released their attacks at the same time, Khoshai attacked with quite the destructive mouth blast, while Jadus released an energy wave from his palm.
“Damn it! His power is increasing!” Jadus grimaced as he felt the weight of Khoshai’s attack countering his own energy wave, forcing the Kai Attendant back. Zeno groaned slightly before rushing forward to assist his friend, taking to the sky and flying to Khoshai’s right flank before charging his own Ki Sphere, producing a green colored energy ball with blue electricity sparking along the surface. In an attempt to ultimately disrupt the Majin, Zeno released the ball of energy, the energy sphere rocketing downwards to Khoshai, immediately cutting through his midsection before exploding in a flash of green light. In tandem with Zeno’s interference, Jadus redoubled his efforts, easily overpowering Khoshai’s mouth blast, and sending his own energy wave straight through Khoshai’s fading mouth blast, tearing straight through the remainder of Khoshai’s body.
As black smoke rose from the point of explosion, Zeno looked over at Jadus,” Don’t underestimate him, Jadus! So far, his power is inferior to ours, but Majins are as creative as they are unpredictable! You never kn-”
As is the tragedy of irony, Zeno would end up making the same folly as Jadus, as suddenly the ground beneath him exploded as a massive Ki beam engulfed him, pink light practically blinding Jadus, forcing him to avert his eyes.
“Zeno!” Jadus cried out, squinting against the light. It seemed Khoshai had, in a last ditch effort, had burrowed underground in order to regenerate, and had burrowed under the ground before releasing his energy in an attack.
“I’m fine!” Zeno grunted as he appeared amongst the smoke, his Kai uniform sporting several rips and burns, but not terribly injured. “He’s underground!” The green Kai Attendant called out.
As if on cue, Khoshai erupted from the ground before Jadus, immediately taking Jadus’s head in his hands and jerking him forward, Khoshai’s own head meeting Jadus’s halfway, headbutting the man.
“Gah!” Jadus cried out, rearing back, before planting a fist in Khoshai’s gut, causing the Majin child to cry out. Jadus reared his other hand back and backhanded Khoshai across the face, before performing several backflips to create some distance, not comfortable fighting the Majin at such close distance. In his place, Zeno swooped in to fight the Majin child. Recovering quicker than normal, Khoshai grunted and kicked another hole in the sand, his right foot burrowing underneath the ground, his leg extending to great lengths underground before erupting underneath Zeno, his foot smacking Zeno squarely in the chin, almost in the same manner as an uppercut. Khoshai repeated that attack twice, smacking Zeno around with his foot. As Jadus rushed forward to attack the Majin, Khoshai flickered out of sight via Rapid Movement before appearing behind Jadus, a large sphere of Ki already charged in the boy’s hand. Laughing maniacally, Khoshai released the large sphere of Ki, which immediately grew exponentially in size the moment it left Khoshai’s hand.
“Goddamn it!” Zeno cursed before they were both engulfed in the blast, drawing a massive pink flash as the explosion rocked the very foundation of the island, with Khoshai laughing his ass off in the background, enjoying that the two meanies were suddenly knocked into oblivion. There was no way they could have survived such an attack!
Except they did.
“Surprise.” A deep voice said from behind Khoshai, before he was knocked to the ground by Jadus.
“Agh!” Khoshai cried out as he hit the ground. Scrambling to his feet, he looked up in surprise as Jadus and Zeno both stood hovering in the air, seemingly unharmed. At the last moment before being struck by the blast, the pair had managed to focus on Khoshai’s rather oppressive energy signature, with Zeno executed the Instant Transmission technique to appear behind the Majin, not only dodging the attack but putting themselves in just the right position to attack.
“Majin Kho will kill you! I will make you dead! I hate people who hurt Majin Kho!” He said before charging at the pair again, his aura once again flaring to life. Jadus charged forward and initiated combat with the child, blows being exchanged back and forth between the pair. Despite what seemed to be a valiant effort on both parts, Jadus very clearly held the upper hand, consistently landing blow after blow on the Majin, causing the boy to be in a state of constant regeneration, for the attacks were too swift and too strong to dodge or shrug off. Yet the issue was….he could not regenerate forever. After several moments of combat, Jadus knocked the boy back with a well placed roundhouse kick across the face before blasting Kho in the face with a Ki Beam, disintegrated the Majin’s head….although it merely regenerated a moment later.
Khoshai was so dedicated to beating Jadus, that he wasn’t even noticing that Zeno was charging up his own attack. A tiny, compact ball of super intense green Ki was being charged in his palm, the Ki Sphere the size of a tennis ball, easily fitting in the palm of his hand. Yet, due to the high density and high concentration of energy, its’ destructive power was much more. He wanted to make sure it was perfect...and that Khoshai was too tired to bounce back.
On and on the one on one battle ensued, Jadus practically wailing on Khoshai, blasting the Majin to pieces. The fatigue was clearly beginning to show by Khoshai’s rapidly dropping power level, and the fact that each time he was blown to bits, it took longer and longer for him to regenerate. Yet he pressed on nonetheless, much too dependent upon his “invincible” body to take notice. He hated these people, hated everyone who bullied him, who hurt him, who just wanted to kill him simply for existing. He’d make them pay...he’d make them all pay!
But he couldn’t! It was getting harder to move. His regeneration was slowing, and Jadus’s attacks were hurting more and more! With a final kick to the stomach followed by a Ki blast that blew apart half of Khoshai’s stomach, Jadus cried out the last words Khoshai would hear
“Zeno, now!”
And then the last thing he saw was a small green ball of energy colliding with him. Then a green light. Then nothing….
The entire small island was destroyed that day, the explosion proving too much for the foundation to handle. All that remainder of the island was broken chunks of rock quickly submerged by a raging ocean. There was no sign of Majin Khoshai.
“There’s no way he could come back from that.” Zeno said, finally, the pair of Kai Attendants high above the island, having both teleported out of range of the attack.
Jadus sighed,” Good riddance. Now….we have to head back. We have someone else to destroy, and we wasted a lot of time. We’re gonna split up. I’m going to head back to South City, you head off to East City.”
Zeno nodded,” Of course. If either of us find him, we’ll communicate telepathically. If we don’t, we’ll meet up in North City in four days time.”
Jadus nodded, and both figures disappeared from view...back on their mission.

Chapter 3
He was not dead.
He refused to die.
Not until he killed the both of them. And then everyone who had wronged him.
Three days had passed since the fight between Khoshai and Jadus and Zeno. Which meant one day until Zeno and Jadus’s scheduled rendezvous in North City. Since then, Khoshai had protected himself and kept himself alive via his energy cocoon, encasing himself in a hardened pink shell of energy and entering a short state of hibernation in order to recover his energy and heal. And now, it was time to try again.
Ever so slowly, the pink bubble began to crack, and then finally it burst open. From the cocoon, Khoshai burst through the water, the cocoon having implanted itself in some rock formation deep in the ocean. As he emerged from the ocean, Khoshai growled, droplets of water dripping from his body, as he looked around, trying to re- familiarize himself with his surroundings. Where the island used to be was just water now, the ocean stretching on for miles upon miles. But, he hardly cared about the fate of the island. For once, his mind was not attracted to candy, or playtime, or little kid antics of some kind. No, he was well past that. He wanted revenge. He wanted to make those Kais pay.
No matter the cost.
Throughout the fight, he had become accustomed to their Ki signatures (when they were using normal Ki), and as such knew what type of Ki Signature he had to find in order to track them down. Closing his eyes, Khoshai concentrated, trying to extend his senses farther than he ever had before, trying to locate either one of the deities. Eventually, he managed to find one of them. Zeno’s Ki. The one that had started and finished the first battle. The one who almost destroyed him. Khoshai’s blood boiled at the very thought of the green skinned menace, and he automatically decided that Zeno would be his first target. He just had to find him.
As such, Khoshai raced off. He raced off to East City.
-------------------------------------------------------
He had had no luck so far. But he had to say, he liked this city.
Zeno sighed lightly as he flew around East City. He appreciated the spiritual feel that exuded from the city, Ki signatures he was reading, all across the city. Dojos, temples of various faiths, tournaments for entertainment, they all appealed to Zeno in a way. The spirituality of humans, if used in positive ways, was certainly one of their more redeeming qualities.
But unfortunately, there was no Android. Nor had he heard anything from Jadus back in South City, which meant no Android there either. There was still North City, but he wanted to find this Android in the cities. If he wasn’t in the city, that meant he was somewhere else on Earth...and “somewhere else on Earth” was too general for him, and lessened the likelihood of the two of them finding the mechanical beast. They needed a Plan B…..and quickly.
Yet, that would have to come at a later date. Zeno was immediately alerted to a large power level heading his way, which caused him to turn his head in the direction of where he sensed it. However, the Ki signature was familiar….but….it couldn’t be.
It was.
Zeno grit his teeth. He was tempted to call Jadus. Together, the two of them could kill this bratty Majin easily, but they were already too far off course, and were running out of precious, precious time. Soon, the Supreme Kai would take notice of their presence here...and who knew who he would send to fetch the two renegade attendants?
No, he had to let Jadus continue the search. He had to do this on his own.
Zeno placed his arms calmly behind his back as Khoshai appeared in front of him. He noted the Majin’s deadly calm expression, and his relaxed stance. Yet, he could also feel the Majin’s radiating aura. He could feel the malice behind the child, such evil energy washing over the Kai Attendant in waves.
“You should have allowed yourself to die.” Zeno said.
“Majin Khoshai kill you. Kho make you dead.” Khoshai responded. A moment later, Zeno flickered behind Khoshai and grabbed his shoulder. Together, both combatants vanished from the skies above East City, via Teleportation. Next thing Khoshai knew, both combatants were back where it all started.
Yunzabit Heights, “The End of the World”.
“You will die here.” Zeno declared,” Here, I will make you cease to exist. And I will ensure there is nothing left of you to regenerate. I will purify you from this universe!”
“Die!!!!!!” Khoshai screamed before charging at Zeno, his aura flaring as the two combatants met mid-charge, the two trading blows at each other continuously, exchanging punches and kicks. Despite Zeno’s rather reserved and bookish appearance, he was smarter, stronger and faster than Jadus, and was more versatile in his moveset, capable of adjusting accordingly to the enemy’s techniques, while Jadus preferred simple overwhelming destructive force, in which he did trump Zeno in pure raw power.
Khoshai, on the other hand, had grown stronger over the course of his hibernation, his raw power increasing dramatically. However, his technique hadn’t changed, nor had he really learned much to improve upon since the last battle, while Zeno had already adapted to Khoshai’s battle strategies, and as such knew specifically how to counter them. Thus, even in this melee skirmish, the exchange increasingly tipped in Zeno’s favor as he rapidly began adapting to Khoshai’s speed and force, blocking and interrupting Khoshai’s blows, and landing more and more of his own. The melee battle soon came to a rather abrupt close as Zeno planted his knee in Khoshai’s stomach and raised his hands over his head, cupping one over the other before executing a Double Axe Handle, smashing the boy down to the plateaus below.
Before his face smashed into one of the plateaus, Khoshai managed to halt his descent and charged back upwards to Zeno, flickering in and out of view via Rapid Movement. Khoshai finally appeared to Zeno’s right flank, preparing to blast the green skinned Kai with a Ki blast, however Zeno raised his hand to Khoshai’s face as he appeared, and blasted the boy with a Kiai at point blank before the poor pink kid could get in a shot. Before Kho could be knocked back, however, Zeno grabbed the boy’s headtail, to reign him back in before placing his palm on the boy’s stomach, releasing an energy wave a moment later that tore straight through Khoshai’s abdomen. Expecting Khoshai to be disoriented and in pain, Zeno was surprised when Khoshai persevered with his offensive, even through the attack, opening his mouth wide and assaulting Zeno with an energy wave of his own, coming straight from his giant maw. Unable to get away fast enough, Zeno was the victim of a point blank energy blast that knocked him across Yunzabit Heights, the Kai Attendant smashing through several plateaus before hitting the ground with a loud crash.
Khoshai growled as he allowed his lower half to separate from his upper half, in favor of regenerating a completely new lower half. The old lower half dropped off into the plateaus below, most likely splattering into pink goo once it hit the ground. From there, Khoshai outstretched his right palm, ready to launch another offensive. As expected, Zeno appeared next to Khoshai again, ready to attack, yet Khoshai was ready for him and turned around and launched the sphere of Ki directly at the Kai. Zeno’s eyes widened as he saw the sphere about to leave his palm, and in that instant disappeared via teleportation, allowing the sphere to zoom through empty air, exploding in the far distance.
Zeno appeared again right below Khoshai, and grabbed his leg. As soon as he grabbed the Majin’s leg he ceased to levitate, preferring to free fall through the air, Zeno’s weight causing Khoshai to fall with him. At the last moment Zeno began to levitate again, yet used a combination of his own strength and the momentum from freefall to throw Khoshai down ahead of him. Summoning a sphere of green Ki, he then launched a fearsome energy wave, the likes of which tore straight through Khoshai once more.
The battle continued on for quite a long time, the two of them going back and forth in fierce combat, Khoshai gaining what seemed to be a temporary upperhand, followed by Zeno completely dominating him for much longer than Khoshai ever seemed to. Despite Khoshai’s immense strength, Zeno seemed to be winning nonetheless.
Finally, the last stretches of the battle came into view, with Zeno standing calmly with his hands behind his back over the much shorter, and much more exhausted, Majin Khoshai.
“You knew you weren’t strong enough to destroy me….you’re a creature unfit to exist. The bane of gods. Your ancestry is nothing but wicked magic. You are the work of demons, and as such...will be destroyed.” Zeno said before raising his palm to be level with Khoshai’s head. His hand began to glow a bright green, signalling that he was preparing what seemed to be a finisher for this battle.
Khoshai growled in response. His body was slumped, his power had dropped significantly. His regeneration was slowing, to the point where there were several holes present on his body that still hadn’t regenerated yet. Yet, he still refused to give up.
“Majin Kho...will not lose….Majin Kho is strong!” Khoshai said, grabbing Zeno’s hand and attempting to headbutt the man, only for Zeno’s eyes to flare with anger, and for the boy to be repelled by a Kiai. Crying out in pain, Khoshai shot backwards, managing to right himself right before he crashed into a plateau. The winds were getting stronger, and the dark cloudy skies were getting darker, signalling a coming storm.
“A fitting end, for you. Sniveling, and seeking to hide. The gods pity you, even in your last moments.” Zeno sneered, outstretching his palm once more towards the boy, as his hand began to glow once more. “Absence of God: Seeking Judgement!”
Majin Khoshai let out a loud scream. A scream of desperation, crying out for help. A scream of rage. He didn’t want to die….but he couldn’t beat this Kai….despite trying everything.
“Time to die!” Zeno shouted, right before a blanket of pink goo smothered him. Zeno immediately canceled his attack, deciding it a more pressing matter to struggle against the liquefied stretchy substance that was now trying to encase him. Yet, despite his struggles, he simply could not break the hold over the pink goo, and it slowly began to cover his nose and mouth, along with the rest of his body.
“What….what is this…?! No…! No! This can’t be…! You’re..!”
Majin Khoshai growled as he stared at Zeno. The look in Khoshai’s eyes. Pure...bottomless, evil. The potential he had in the darkness. He was simply a well of untapped minerals, untapped power.
“Majin Kho kill you.” He said, his voice deeper and gruffer, sounding nothing like the high pitched voice of a child that he previously had. Then, Khoshai pointed to his stomach, and that was all the pink goo needed. Despite Zeno’s struggles, the pink goo completely encased him before flying across Yunzabit Heights, closing the distance between Kho and Zeno in a moment. The pink goo that contained Zeno slammed into Khoshai at full force and Khoshai’s body began to liquefy, consuming and merging with the other goo. Zeno’s body seemed to dissolve somewhere in the middle, fully being taken up by the liquidy goo mess. The process of merging took quite a long time, before the semi solid substance began to take a more solid form. And as it did that, a pink Ki aura, unlike anything Khoshai had ever been able to produce before took form. The pink aura stretched across the land formations. Electricity sparked across his form, and the pink blob that was Khoshai grew in size...before finally taking shape.
Majin Khoshai...or whatever this man was now, was no longer a boy. His white genie pants and little kiddie vest was replaced with a full black and red jumpsuit. Khoshai now sported two headtails. One long, thick one that ran down his back, and a smaller, thinner one that flopped across his front. He was also much taller, passing the seven foot mark in terms of height. Majin Khoshai looked down at himself, examining his new body, before he began to laugh. A hearty, maniacal laugh….one that informed the very heavens of what had been unleashed upon this world.
“Oh...that was fun. This new body is perfect….and now….” Khoshai looked up at the sky,” Time to find the other one….and to kill him.”
Majin Khoshai smiled wickedly as it began to rain.
The Kaioshin Hunt began.
