He thought he was ready.
How often had he pictured this moment in his mind? Colt had lived for six decades, and if he were lucky, he would live for many, many more. But he had resigned himself to the fact that the moment he clashed with Gadreel, his life was very well forfeit.
Colt couldn't say whether or not his deeds in life had been good or evil—he tended to live within an ambiguous morality. While he had not meant to hurt others, he had. Sometimes, he'd even enjoyed it. And considering he possessed demon blood, there was a grand chance upon his untimely demise he would open his eyes in the Demon Realm.
But nothing could have prepared him for this. It felt as if the very air were attempting to choke the life out of him.
They stood upon a solid plateau of dark stone, staring across a vast, desolate wasteland. Spires of dark stone jutted like spasming fingers into the blood red skies above. Thick, swirling swaths of sulfuric clouds churned and ebbed like the sea above their heads, where winged beasts and creatures dove to and fro amidst red bolts of crackling energy and deep rumblings that shook the very atmosphere.
The ground was dry and sparse, not a single blade of grass to be seen. Web-like cracks coated its surface, nasty critters with wriggling limbs jutting from hard carapaces emerging from the cracks, skittering around their feet.
Every breath was full of nauseous gases, coupling with the unsettling means of teleportation through which Kuueru had gotten them to the demon realm to cause him to feel ill. Beads of sweat evaporated as quickly as they appeared from his brow as Colt stumbled over to the side and vomited into the dark chasm below. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he turned on unsettled legs and staggered his way back over to Kuu.
Even the gravity here didn't make sense—weak enough in some pockets to allow him to float inches above the ground, strong enough in others that he could hardly maintain his balance.
It was far too late for regret now. They were here in the realm of demons, the very birth place of all the evil that resided in the universe.
"...so, this is it."
A dry breeze, like a hot raspy breath, blew across his face. It carried the sickening stench of rotted eggs, and a myriad of other foul odors.
"How could you stomach living in a place like this?"

It wasn’t the first thing the demoness wanted to do with her day, but she had made an agreement after all. She stared sleepily ahead at her hotel she had occupied the night before. Her sheets were strewn about and clothes littered every corner of the bedroom. Today she dressed herself in a modern pair of jeans and a simple turtleneck to reflect the Autumn air.
As she walked into the main den of the place she was bathed in the brilliant morning light from outside. She waltzed to the fridge and pulled some cold slices of cheese from within. She then began to fold and each the cheese bit by bit while pacing the room. Eventually Colt had arrived, and soon they would begin their hell of a trip.
The nausciating ride took place, but this time she hoped Colt would be able to handle it with a bit more poise. However, as they entered the stagnant and putrid air of the demon realm, her hopes were crushed. Colt immediately leaned over into a ravine before spilling the bile and contents of his guts down below. She wondered how he didn’t lose all of his teeth with how much he purged.
The boy soon composed himself and joined her back in the misery she referred to as ‘home’. She turned, the heel of her brown leather boots kicking up the crimson dust. With a sharp inhaled and a sullen gaze she focused in on him.
“Well, after 750 years desperation eventually turns to complacency. Also, It's not exactly easy to get out of here, unless you had a way in. The woman cleared her throat and folded her arms over her ample chest. Now that he was here, the power would start to soak in. It might be a bit unstable at first, but he would have to fight to find a balance and control what he could. Trying to exert too much power will make the gift uncontrollable, he’d probably blast himself into space like a rocket; if they were on Earth that is."
“Anyhow, stop being a wuss and get ready. You need to soak in as much of this as you can handle. And stand your ground. We are here today to train, at any moment something thrice our power could ambush us, anytime. We need to be quick, we need to get you as much experience as we can. He could feel the evil leaking into his soul. Drop by drop, it sought to oppress his will. His thoughts turned darker, his anger and angst being amplified by the second.
Here there would be little he could do the curb the desire for carnage.
In a way, it was freeing. He'd spent his entire life concerned about the safety of others, walking around with his head tucked, afraid to form relationships for fear of how he may hurt those around him. But in this wasteland, in this birth place of evil, there were no friends—no relationships worth cultivating.
There was only predator and prey. He had a choice as to which one he would be.
His leather, fingerless gloves creaked as Colt flexed his hands. It was to keep Kuueru from noticing how they trembled from a mixture of newfound power and excitement.
"Battles in this place must seem terrifying," Colt remarked, glancing up at her. "You sure it's okay if I let loose?"
It was a matter of redundancy. They already agreed to a no holds barred fight, where anything goes. Gadreel would not show mercy to Colt simply because they shared blood ties.
So, neither would he.
"Get ready."
Colt shrugged off his trench coat. It fell heavy to the ground in a pile, leaving him standing shirtless in tight leather pants and boots. A leather harness was strapped to his upper body, customized to hold both his pistols and the massive greatsword on his back.
Drawing one of the twin .50 cal Desert Eagles, Colt leveled it squarely at Kuueru.
"I'm not holding back."
He squeezed the trigger twice, the gun kicking in his hand.

Kuueru could only watch as the boy visibly shifted in nature. It finally appeared that the demonic temptations of the realm had seeped into his soul. She turned to face him and see the happening, but it seemed he was still containing himself. A sharp exhaled and she looked off into the distance. Something about this place made her uneasy, perhaps an irrational fear of not being able to escape again? Now she had techniques, now she had options. That was all the woman carved in life, was options and a free will to let her guard down instead of fighting every goddamn day. It was a tremendous weight off of the demon’s shoulders. Coming back here screamed at her in disbelief. “I don’t tell you to do something twice,” Kuueru retorted as Colt reaffirmed their earlier agreement. It was supposed to be all out, and he had doubts, he shouldn’t be here. “Why don’t ya turn around and go home if you’re not gonna take this serious kid, I got better things to do.”
Her face shifted and she took on a wild stance. The immense pressure of the demonic energy trying to seep into her pores couldn’t be resisted. She opened the floodgates and went back to a most primal state. Even suttle growls could be heard bellowing from her throat. Her dull purple orbs shifted to an intense crimson as she locked onto the ‘target’; that was what he was now, not the guarded half-demon she had met a few days back. He warned her and then leveled his weapon with her. She chuckled at the toy, her eyes locking onto the barrel as she prepared to defend. However, it was if the man’s bullets were gags, they flied off target, perhaps from his shaking hands? He was scared? Now---invigorated by his demon blood. Now was the chance to test the boy. “Lucifer!” Kuueru called to the heavens seemingly. Like a bolt of lighting from the gloomy overcast a figure hit the ground and caused cracks to spiderweb out below his impact. He stood, his angelic features most intimidating; however---a beauty about him drew the eyes in. She pointed, commanding the angelic looking demon to lash out with his sphere. Then, to follow up Kuueru was ready to move in. Her palms outstretched before her, brilliant green orbs focusing from her palms. They were the color of something ethereal and ghastly, which didn’t much fit the pink-haired woman. The beams expanded four times in size before ripping from her hands and through the sulfuric air. As they drew into their target they all split and acted like homie rays upon the shirtless halfling. “LET’S SEE IF YOU LIVE WIMP!” BATTLE TRACKER EFFECTS ►EDGE 3. The bullets flew wide, missing their mark by a mile. His hand trembled and it altered the intended trajectory. Perhaps it was fear. Kuu's aura was sinister and terrifying, oppressive as it slammed into him, knocking him backward a few paces.
She called to the skies and a brilliant bolt of lighting struck the plateau, searing heat washing over Colt as he threw up an arm in defense. Only his battle instinct saved him as her companion, Lucifer, attacked. The energy sphere sizzled as it flew past his ducking head, glancing off his forearm and burning him.
It hadn't done any serious damage, but Kuu's next attacked seemed design to harm as the massive lime green orbs barreled down on him. Colt moved quickly, flickering from sight as the first flew past him and exploded, the force kicking up harsh winds that buffeted the plateau. He could not predict the second attack as easily, this one slamming into him with full force.
His gun flew from his hand as Colt was thrown backward from the blast. He cried out as he hit the ground, kicking up dirt as he tumbled a few meters to a dusty stop. He grimaced, climbing back to his feet, pain lancing through his torso where the blast struck.
"You're not the only one with a friend. It'll be rude to not introduce you!"
He removed the glove on his right hand, thrusting it into the sky. The elaborate demonic sigil sparked to life, emitting a bright purple glow and a flash of blinding light. As it dissipated, a pink haired adolescent girl stood beside him.
She seemed annoyed more than anything, rolling her eyes at Colt.
"What do you want?"
"Lilica. Mind lending a hand?"
"Ugh. Fine. But you owe me."
"The usual. Best candy zeni can buy."
This seemed to satisfy the young demon, her barbed tail swishing as if to seal the deal. She turned and fired a large beam of crackling pink energy at Kuu, looking to take her out per Colt's request. Colt didn't expect it to harm the demoness—merely provide a much needed distraction.
He disappeared from view, only to reappear in the air behind Kuu. The hilt of his greatsword held in both hands, he heaved it high above his head.
"Dread Reaping!"
The blade swung with fierceness and power, unleashing a razor sharp slash of powerful wind meant to cleave Kuueru, and the entire plateau, in two!

Lucifer’s energy sphere was easily avoided; but it still managed to do a bit of damage. So much could be compared to Colt; as he too summoned his own companion, The pink-haired girl stood annoyed, her face seeming disinterested in what Null had to say. The young girl still obliged however, choosing to send her attack towards the demon woman. It didn’t take long for the large pbean of pink energy to blast her way. It too, burned her skin---though only a minor annoyance. IT wouldn’t take long until both of their companions had left the battlefield. The two would have to battle one another based on their pure strength, not emotions. Kuueru chuckled and wiped the grime from her sleeve. Thought his companion sent out an attack, ti wasn't much stronger than her own. She would have to deal with Colt with her own power. “Dread reaping? Sound edgeyyyy?” Kuueru appeared behind him as he launched his attack towards her. The demon was much too fast to be hit with such pathetic attacks. She chuckled and looked towards Colt with a curious expression. “You are trying right? I have a feeling, you’re not…” Kuueru murmured in disappointment while her finger pointed accusingly towards Colt. It was true, if she was putting forth her best efforts, she hoped he was purely doing the same. “It doesn’t matter, you’re weak,” Kuueru mumbled while charging up hr next attack. A simple slew of energy blasts to test the boy’s dexterity. She could only hope he would fare well against her onslaught this time. She quickly powered up her next attack and send another barrage of shitty energy blasts towards his silhouette. “It doesn’t matter, you’re weak,” Kuueru mumbled while charging up hr next attack. Worthless.
No matter what he did, none of his attacks had an effect against Kuueru. Either she shrugged off his blows as if they were nothing, or managed to dodge them altogether. He regarded Kuu with a steel expression, his brow furrowed in a glare at her accusation that he wasn't putting forth his best effort.
That was the problem, wasn't it? He was. It just wasn't good enough.
On the same note, Colt could tell she was still holding back a great deal of her own strength.
The second wave of assaults came at him. Though he managed to evade the first one, the second blast caught him full on. It sent him hurtling to the desolate ground below, the pulsing green orb exploding upon contact. It shook the earth around them, the ground shuddering from the impact of her attack, deepening the giant fissures in the ground. It left a massive crater, a deep hole of black abyss.
Colt was nowhere to be seen.
He floated in the ether, wanting to die.
It had been a long time since Colt experienced that depth of remorse. His efforts felt fruitless. Even with the energy of the demon realm flowing into him, strengthening him beyond his limits, it still wasn't enough.
How, then, could he stop his father?
Hot tears brimmed beneath closed lids, forcing their way out, trailing down his gaunt cheeks before dripping off into the nothing he floated in. Pain wracked his every limb, and something more.
Something he'd never felt before.
It surged in him, bubbling up and welling over, so vast and powerful he could hardly contain it.
He couldn't contain it.
The ground began to tremble, great violent tremors that tossed boulders and critters alike. A deep rumbling, much like that far overhead, could be heard emanating from the giant chasm formed from Kuu's attack.
There was a sound of a deafening explosion, followed by wave after rolling wave of gale force winds. A brilliant red light flooded the crater, and in an instant, something shot out of the hole like a rocket.
Violent red aura laced with flickering black lightning danced around the figure, burning away the remains of his tattered, scorched trench coat. Gone was the sword, his guns and the leather harness. Demonic energy surged throughout his body, his muscles expanding in girth and bulk, buffing him up to twice his original mass. His short, choppy white hair was gone, replaced with long flowing locks of crimson-colored hair. His eyes, once a forlorn gray, now burned with an inner amber light.
A total transformation, and yet, not a transformation.
As if he were merely emerging from his own self-inflicted cocoon of doubt and fear.
Colt stared at his hands. They no longer trembled. Though he still felt great pain and fatigue from enduring the demoness's vicious attack, a new energy coursed through him.
His demon half had fully awakened, no longer mentally suppressed by him. It was such a traumatic change. Was this what he was meant to look like all along? Gone was the appearance of age. Though still over six decades old, he looked even younger than before. No longer the tall, lanky man that walked around with shoulders drooping.
Castor Ceyx was a powerful brute of a man.
He absently flexed his powerful bicep, arching a curious brow. He wasn't sure how this was possible, and he had the sneaking suspicion it wouldn't last long.
He glanced up at Kuu, and for the first time in many long decades, he smiled.
Not the grateful smile of a man who had finally achieved true power. His grin was predatory.
Colt erupted forth as if he were a rocket on full throttle, zipping through the air as he flew at Kuu. He made a grab for her arms, his newfound strength overflowing to where his iron grip would hold her steady in place, maybe even crush the bones her arms. Colt reared back, thick muscles tensing as he unleashed a vicious headbutt, aiming for the bridge of her nose.

The expression painted upon his face said it all. Beneath the steel eyes, his face expressed minor annoyance. Perhaps that was due to her avoiding his attacks; perhaps she was using too much of her power to her advantage? Maybe the boy wasn’t holding back--- The two energy attacks had locked on, the first one was easily evaded. However, the second most certainly hit it’s mark. THe erratic green salvo made contact, and then the fireworks show began. The land beneath them trembled from the pure concussive blast. Even the ground seemed to kneel to her power. However, there was something ary---the man was nowhere to be found. Frantically she looked around before trying to lock onto his energy signature. “Huh, hiding?”
Suddenly, the ground quaked again; however--it was much more intense. She stumbled and tried to regain her footing despite other critters being tossed around like ragdolls. Suddenly, the wave of wind pelted her face---and a light show? Kuueru narrowed her eyes as she tried to get a glimpse of what was causing such a reaction. The demon drew a forearm to shield her eyes from the blinding crimson aura. She was almost so distracted she didn’t noticed the blue that escaped from it’s center. There it was. A transformation she had been waiting for. It wasn’t until someone was pushed to the brinks of desperation that they truly unlocked their full potentials. While her job of helping the man train his power and achieve great things in the demon realm was over, she couldn’t help but feel a flicker of excitement from the power pouring from her companion. “There we go; What? Not gonna talk to me anymore?” Kuueru teased with a sinister smile. However, Colt still seemed in awe at his own ability. He no long shook with fear, no---he seemed confident. Something that the smile on his lips eerily enforced. Perhaps this was the true demon side of the man, the thing he fought so hard to contain. Now there was really no holding back. The boy burst forth, his hands immediately locking onto her much more slender arms. She didn’t fight his grip, merely looked him dead in the eye. She felt the joints in her arms twist and hyperextend from the pressure, but that pain only made her more excited. “See, this is much mo---” The headbutt; it may have stunted her words, but she still smiled towards him with a maleficent expression briming her eyes. Her usual amethyst orbs were now crimson. They locked onto him like a target. A single stream of blood escaped her nare; broken. What an inconvenience. “Ow. Look at you, you hit me.” She didn’t tear away from his grip however, instead she felt it time to show him the true her. Too long had she kept the secrets from everyone. Be it her appearance, her power, or her true transformation...Kuueru had many secrets. At her core a small fire burned; however, it soon tripled. The sheer pressure coming from her body should have been enough to blow the man from her frame, if not--the azure dance of flames that overtook her frame would force him to. Her image was obscured by the flaming hot wall, but underneath it all, the pink hair was gone. The sun-kissed skin desaturated. Replacing the former cute and cheerful ‘ Earthling’ was something otherworldly. Onyx horns sprouted from a now blue crown of hair. A forked tail curled absently around one of her thighs for protection in combat. Behind her a single black and bat-like wing flared from her back. She opened her eyes, again now, locking sights with Colt. But, more so than power---there was a darkness that was deafening emitting from her soul. “Bein’ a demon isn’t so bad… Hit me with all you have.” BATTLE TRACKER EFFECTS ►EDGE 4. The flames from her aura burned him. Colt cried out, a guttural curse that sounded nothing like his original voice. He grimaced at the searing pain in his hands, throwing up his arms in defense as the force of her exploding aura washed over him. It knocked him back several meters, and Colt pushed out with his own ki, steadying himself in the ever shifting tide of power.
His amber eyes widened, not out of fear, but in awe and wonder at the blinding transformation that took place before him. Gone was the lovely human woman with soft pink hair and supple, nubile body. And in her place dwelled what could only be labeled as a true demon—a queen.
Her turquoise locks flapped in the current of her overwhelming power, her paralyzing crimson gaze locking him into place, as if he had been turned to stone. This presence... this power... it was unlike anything Colt had ever experienced before. It stood to reason that, if this demonic realm could power him up so dramatically in such a short span of time, that Kuueru could unleash her full power here and have it magnified ten fold.
Or was she always this strong, all along?
He couldn't help but grin at her comment. "Indeed. I feel like a new... well, demon." His grimace turned into a sneer of annoyance. "This new... form of mine isn't accustomed to this power. I can feel it beginning to wane already. If all I've got is a few short seconds... I won't hold back."
Power erupted from Colt, more than he thought imaginable. He felt his energy reserve swell with renewed strength as he thrust his thick arms forward, palms aiming at Kuu. A single large sphere of throbbing red energy grew in his grasp. It crackled with demonic energy, black sparks dancing along the red orb's surface as he took aim and fired a powerful beam of energy.
He would look to quell her in one massive blow.

It seemed that the flames were more than enough to force Colt to release his grip on the woman. Then the recoil; his now heavily-muscled body shot back from her raw power, a few meters of space was now placed between the pair. However, that wouldn’t last long with the boy on the offensive once more. He acted like a statue, perhaps not fearstruken; but---something much more complex. Her hands rested upon her ample hips as she awaited the boy to do as she commanded. Here in the demon realm was the place for Colt to push himself, only here would he unleash the full extent of his demon power. That’s not to say he wouldn’t be a successful warrior outside of this place; however, it was like an unending reservoir of good vibes and extra energy. “Yeah, forms like these are extremely stressful upon the body to maintain, unless you’ve really mastered your own body and energy. Over 750 years I’ve had plenty of time to train here. Some look at this place as a hell, a containment. Now that I’ve left, I see it as a sanctuary for the strongest race.”Kuueru spoke on her pride for her people, not in particularly their attitudes or features. But their resilience and natural power. Demons were a different breed, she could only grow angry that she wasn’t full-blooded. His palms positioned towards the woman, and soon a sphere of red flew towards her. It appeared the boy wanted to kill her off in one blow, but as the massive energy blast came to her, she smacked it to the side. The colossal blast flew off into the distance, slamming into a crimson mountain range into the distance before exploding with a tremendous boom. “Hn, welp,” the demon muttered to herself while one hand grasped for the sky. She conjured the dark and chaotic energy in the air, a single blue beam of lightning coming down to strike the now-red haired man. Afterwards she closed the meters between them. Thunder boomed overhead. Lighting crackled from the sky. It struck him with a brilliant flash of piercing light, sending electrical shocks lancing through his body.
It disoriented him, his scratched and bleeding body almost numb with the pain. His tattered clothing smoked from the blast, and seeing that at this point it did little but offer a liability, Colt ripped the remainder of his clothing from his body. It fell to the ground in a smoldering heap, leaving him standing fully exposed save for a simple pair of black trunks.
It was at that moment that his aura gave out, his power level dropping rapidly as it returned to normal. With it went a great portion of Colt's strength, and it was then Kuueru chose to attack.
Her first blow glanced off his muscular chest, sending him staggering backward. It stung something fierce, but didn't hurt as much as the second one—a vicious kick, faster than his eyes could see, and so he blocked it on pure instinct, curling his bulky arm to absorb the brunt of the impact as it drove him backwards.
His leg muscles bulged, his feet gouging deep into the cracked soil, throwing up dirt as he forced himself to stop. Large shoulders heaving with each struggling breath, Colt peered at Kuueru through the gap between his forearms.
"I don't suppose you'll give me a breather so I can unlock that power again, will you? Fine, have it your way. I asked you to push me to my limits, and you did. I won't last much longer, so I'll make this next one count!"
He thrust his arm out to one side.
"Come forth!"
A swirling red portal of distorted energy appeared before him. Colt thrust an arm deep within before pulling out a wicked looking spear. It was as tall as him, its pole shaft made of impenetrable katchin. Its sharp edge gleamed with wicked light, a demonic aura seeming to emanate from it. He let its tip touch the ground, and where it touched, the ground corroded away.
Colt brandished his spear in a threatening manner, sinking low into an offense stance.
"Let's see what this thing can do!"
He charged her, slashing and thrusting in an attempt to pierce her flesh with his weapon.

After the smiting strike from the heavens, and her flaming aura--Colt was left with tatters of cloth for clothing. He ripped the smoldering fabric from his bulky body, which seemed to deflate in a bit of mass as the crimson aura departed. It seemed that his transformation was complete---Still, Kuueru could maintain hers indefinitely; or at least until she was incapacitated. The man asked for a breather, almost comically. He also stated that he was aware their bout would soon be done. Kuueru had given him a few hits, but she still held back the majority of her strength. Though, she wouldn’t reveal that to the man, she felt it would only wound his pride. He then summoned some sort of weapon; a polearm? One that was readily aimed at the demon. Still, she stood, her ethereal glow lighting up the dim demon realm. She was ready, and he was going to give her every ounce of juice he had in him. With stunning speed he charged. Ducking low to the ground he aimed to fatally wound her with the weapon, however----she would rather avoid such a fate. “Let’s see,” Kuueru mumbled a response as he slashed and thrusted with the sharp blade. However, she was gone. With an eloquence and graced comparable to a dancer, she appeared on the flank of the boy, that way he could at least see her next moves. “Very well, I saw it,” Kuueru chuckled and swung a heavy haymaker towards the man’s jaw, she followed through with a sweeping kick towards his spine. His chances of victory had long since waned. His newfound power, while impressive, had taken quite a toll on his physical body. Though he possessed several more pounds of solid muscle, his strength waned with every thrust and parry of his blade as Colt sought to take down the demoness.
"Raauugghh!" A mighty bellow accompanied his final thrust. Much to his dismay, Kuueru simply vanished from sight. The tip of his spear slammed into the ground, snapping from the force. "Wretched woman."
She teased him, her voice inches from his ear.
Colt spun around and her fist slammed into his jaw with tremendous force, spinning him in a full circle in mid-air. Pain exploded in his head from the blow, and pure battle instinct caused him to raise the broken shaft of his spear to slow Kuu's kick before her foot slammed into his back. It hurt, and probably would have paralyzed him if he hadn't sacrificed his weapon.
He backflipped away from her to create some distance, landing in a crouched stance. A heavy weariness settled into his bones. At this point, fatigue was as much an enemy as she was.
"I can't thank you enough for bringing me here. I've done my best to repay you by fighting with all of my power. Let's put an end to this!"
Colt unleashed a battle roar as he charged and pummeled at her with fists and kicks, raising his cupped hands high above his head to bring it crashing down in a double axe handle that would put her in the ground.
Opening his mouth, a beam of crackling ki erupted forth at Kuueru, one aimed to put her down for good. Dread Reaping!

Though the winner of the fight was clear, Kuueru wasn’t the type to stop and give someone a break. A true battle went until someone hit the dirt. While Colt had eaten a lot of dirt so face, he was still managing to stand upon his own two feet. That was admirable in face of such a grim battle. That showed the resilience and dedication the man would have for bettering himself, and his power. That was what made Kuueru hopeful, that was what she wanted to achieve in all this. Make the boy realize, he had more in him than he thought. As the woman avoided his last rushing attack, she was gone. Then, her fists connected. Perhaps it was the demon realm air getting to her, but she wanted to go out with a bang. “Thank me enough? You have energy to backflip, and you think it’s over?” Kuueru chuckled as the man prepared to mar him with fists and kicks. They hit their mark, the pain reminding the woman of what she was doing. A fight was not something to be lax with, Colt reminded her as his fists pelted her rather tight midsection. She grunted, but stood her ground. However, she wasn’t expecting an attack from above. Her entire body stunted as her face smashed into the red dirt below. Well, if her nose wasn’t broken before, it certainly sat different upon her now. She stumbled to her feet and blew a mixture of blood and snot onto the ground. “Well, don’t worry if you don’t wake up. I’ll bring you back to safety,” Kuueru grinned, before she once again was out of site. From behind she send a punch infused with electricity to the spine. It would hurt, like hell. Perhaps even knock him out cold. To make sure he was done however, she pulled him into a bearhug from behind. Her ironically hot body pressed to his own as she released a torrent of flames. "Goodnight Colt, I'll see ya soon."

Mighty fists rained down relentless onto her. Her warm pale flesh pliant beneath the unyielding stone of his blows. Colt drilled her into the ground as intended, and though her pain was obvious, she spat blood and mucus as she rose from the dirt to counter him. He had to admire this—this petite demoness weathered his blows as if they were the obstinate ravings of a petulant child.
In a way, he was a child—a veritable newborn with the power that coursed through his veins. It was a grand power, nearly doubling his strength, and with it came a confidence he did not possess prior to this excursion into the hellish realm.
But he could not wield it properly. In truth it sapped what physical resolve remained, so that he stood upon shaky legs that couldn't long support the new weight of thick muscle he'd gained. Not that it would matter. His fate was sealed this day. The fist that plowed into his spine caused his body to convulse with pain, as electricity lanced through his limbs.
A gob of spit escaped his mouth, his body arching from the force of her blow. Slender arms possessed of an impossible strength wrapped around his frame. Her slender digits could scarcely meet, yet held him with impressive strength. Colt could not speak, only smirk in response to her words. "T-Thanks," he sputtered, blood dribbling from the corner of his mouth. "I'd rather... n-not be left to the buzzards..."
The torrent of fire overwhelmed him. It pried a yelp of pain and surprise from him, blue flame licking at his bare skin, burning the hairs from his arms and legs and leaving his skin raw and irritated. The oxygen was sucked to the top of the cyclone, darkness plunged over him as his conscious mind went dark to protect him from registering further pain.
It was a hard battle fought. But a loss was still a loss.

It was finished. The woman’s arms embraced the man, and then his body fell limp within her grasp, of course--that was the point. She didn’t drop him however, instead she maneuvered the man over her shoulder carefully. She made sure not to make his wounds any worse, it appeared she probably should have held back some of her power, but she truly believed the halfling had learned a lesson today. A lesson he wouldn’t if she had been easy with him. If Gadreel’s power really rivaled, or even surpassed Kuueru’s, Colt should really be worried now.
Just as easily as they came, they left; the swirling white portal welcomed them back to the mortal realm. The stench of sulfur was gone, but still plagued their clothes. They were in a lavish room, the feeling of the place however, mirrored that of the realm they just left. Maleficence seethed from every corner of the room, but it also smelt of the demoness. This was a more, permanent residence of the woman's, on the planet ‘Hollow’.
She gently hoisted the man’s bruised and beaten body onto the sofa of her living room. She wasn’t sure how long the man would be unconscious, but whatever transformation he used sapped the life out of his physical body.
Kuueru ran some hot water, and grabbed a few rags before tending to the more obvious abrasions to his figure. She didn’t need him bleeding on her porcelain furniture afterall.
“You did good,” Kuueru mumbled to the slumbering man before tucking away her supplies and finding her way to her own room to tend to lick her own wounds. “Real good.” @null
