Audrey blinked her eyes slowly as the sight unfold before her very eyes. Just minutes before they were fighting on surface, with her fighting two androids while her partner take care of the other one. She was doing quite well too against them both, sure she took some massive hit but her body was resilient enough to take them both. It wasn't until the massive wave of air pressure that threatened to envelop them both that she let her guard drop and the next thing she saw was a skyscraper coming down to crush them all. Now she found herself in a large crater witnessing the fruit of their training in the form of her lover's golden aura. Unlike the previous battle with Marimba and Ishmael it wasn't just her aura that changed. The dramatic increase in her power level was accompanied by a change in appearance known to many as Super Saiyan. The sight before her was too beautiful that her breathe was taken away...she even briefly forgotten about how her body didn't obey her will or the fact that she had a gaping hole of a wound in her chest. The only thing that looked out of place was her tear stained eyes. Audrey wanted to pick herself up and wipe those tears yet she can barely move let alone stand. "Ci...pher..."No, even with the current state she was in, Audrey still needed to be supportive. The female android knew that if she fell unconscious now, that would have brought her a lot of regret. Thus she used her remaining strength to cling as long as she could even as her blood flow out of her body. "Go... cut that sucker down." she uttered with a small grin as well as a look of unwavering faith in her lover. Meanwhile, the other silver hair android was bristling with fury. He didn't scream or rage like the Saiyan did...but within him was white hot anger. So close, he was so close to getting the true power he sought but at the last second Cipher had stolen the power core from him and even pushed him away until there was a large distance to cover between them as he was forced to dig himself into the ground to prevent from flying by the massive psionic force. "You think... that now you're transformed, you're on the same level as me? You may have killed both my companions but your girlfriend did all the heavy work before hand."Instead of flirting, a look of pure malice was now reflected in his golden eyes. He was done being playful as he would now attempt to take this combat more seriously than before. Throwing the leather jacket that covered his body, the duo would be able to see that his wounds regenerate before their very eyes and his energy replenished. Was this perhaps the result of the power he tried to sap from the core? "Last chance. Give me the power core and I'll consider letting you two go." CipherPost word count: 515

In that moment, Cipher lost the ability to smile. Even when Audrey produced a small grin and provided her blessing, she failed to raise the corners of her lips. The Super Saiyan seemed to be in a frightening state of mind for all onlookers. Rather than throwing a delirious tantrum, she seemed laser focused and calm. Instead of blind rage, a silent and harnessed anger guided her actions. In turn, she was not just an angry woman breaking things around her at random. She was a tranquil deliberate machine filled with ice cold hate, uninhibited by recklessness. In contrast, the male android behind her threw a tantrum. Something about her not being on the same level along with a monologue about Audrey doing most of the handiwork. Cipher seemed less than effected by his words, radiating an air that implied she was barely paying attention to the worm prattling on behind her. She did not need petty insults and tantrums. Those who opposed her and those she loved would die, and no words were necessary. They were as meaningless as the swordsman’s existence. With one final offer, he demanded the power core. She stood there in silence, her golden aura burning bright around her frame. Not offering him the satisfaction of a reply, boasting an unlimited amount of apathy for his feelings despite his past flirtations, the Saiyan crouched in front of her girlfriend. Finally, she spoke to the man. “Like this?”After her emotionless yet mocking rhetorical question, she reached forward in an instant. She planted the core back into the woman’s chest and tapped into a reservoir of power unheard of to mend her chest enough to sew the scar back together. Cipher knew Audrey still needed to get back to the cruiser to heal more and make sure everything was fine internally, but that would do for now. She decided to turn around and face the android. Reaching to her side with her cybernetic right hand, she summoned one of the gunblades used against them using transportation magic. It appeared from wherever its owner left it on the battlefield in an array of coalescing yellow lights. Cipher trained her eyes on the man, her expression devoid of emotion and her gaze light. Those eerie green eyes possessed the ability to peer into the future. Cipher examined him with detachment. She scrutinized him like a scientist did a lab rat. She looked at him as though he were just an object. Her eyes looked right through him. In an instant, she provided her answer. The gun’s blade and barrel aligned with his head, and she fired two shots towards him with the intention to blow his head clean off his shoulders. The muzzle flash enveloped the end of the weapon, while gunfire roared liberally throughout the terrain. 1d100+45·1d12·1d12·1d100+45·2d12·2d12LEsjf0nb

The Saiyan didn't listen to his words. He expected as much ever since he saw her transformation earlier. Of course that was a mere formality, he didn't even have any intention to let them go even if Cipher had decide to give the core. However he certainly didn't expect Cipher to slip the remote back towards Audrey and heal her injuries. In an instant a familiar feeling of warmth washed over Audrey as her wounds were mend by the Saiyan. Her body was still unable to move but trying to cling to consciousness was a lot easier now. "She won't get back up even if you do that you know." The android took out what appeared to be a remote in his hand. Audrey's eyes widened slightly upon the sight before gritting her teeth enough to make it audible to hear her. No wonder her body was quite fucked up, she recognize that device anywhere, it was an instrument of discipline against rogue androids. "You fucking prick..." Audrey cursed slightly but quite contrary to her expectation the android crushed the remote his hand before tossing the now crunched device away. Instead he cracked his knuckles and swing his neck left and right which made an audible popping sound. "Remote's tuned to your frequency specifically. Even if you left Talos, the brass there always keep a close eye on you. I could have blown you up but things would be too boring that way." In truth, it was a bluff. He needed to absorb the energy from the power core and detonating them would be counterproductive to his own plans. Not that the remote could do anymore than cripple her at this point, for some reason he couldn't sense the nanomachines within the android's flesh. His vision now drifted back towards the Saiyan who was looking at him like an insect. He was very familiar with that look, as it was the very same one the engineers sported as they fix him up. Everything she did was pissing himself more and more and he barely noticed the gunblade Cipher pull on him. The first shot missed him and cause a huge explosion in the background. He didn't even have time to look back before another shot of the bullet flew straight towards his head. But instead of blowing his head off, the android only take a few step back before bearing his teeth towards her, the bullet caught between his teeth. "Is that the your best can do monkey?" The swordsman spat before he raised his sword to the sky. He then unleashed his own pressurized air wave against them both at once to cut them with sheer air pressure. The wind barely died out before he vanished and reappear, closing the distance between himself and Cipher in an instant. Cipher would noticed that it wasn't through sheer speed he do so, those were often accompanied by gust of wind. He didn't give the Saiyan time to figure out the mystery behind his speed however, as he had decided to rain light blows upon the Saiyan. Cipher Post word count: 500. Even after seeing the android catch a bullet with his teeth, Cipher did not bat an eye. In truth, he insulted his partner’s weapon, which illustrated his rather limited intelligence. A sympathetic look in her eye while tilting her head to the side, she marvelled at the limitations of simple machinery. He called her a monkey, perhaps one of the most original insults the universe heard, before pointing his sword towards the sky. Cipher marginally lowered her new weapon, waiting unenthusiastically for her attacker to launch his series of assaults. When the pressurized blades of air came crashing in her direction, they passed right through the woman. The force carved lacerations into the planet’s crust, scattering clouds of debris in every direction until it clouded the atmosphere like a thick fog. It looked as though the attacks slipped through her, but it was an illusion created from her elite speed. She evaded and returned to her placement at such a velocity it appears she stood in place and the blades of wind harmlessly passed through her. Narrowing her eyes ever so slightly, the one detriment she had no power over was Audrey being incapable of avoiding it. Cipher could not do anything about it due to the nature of the attack. Worried as she was, she knew the android was powerful and tough and could take the hit. However, she kept in mind for the future that she needed to start intercepting some of the attacks he directed her way. Additionally, the need to take him out quickly grew in importance. As usual, the Super Saiyan oozed such a level of confidence she looked bored. The android erased the distance between them, and she continued standing in place. She noticed that he moved with more than sheer speed, and she did not bother to use deductive reasoning to figure out what mechanism was behind it. Cipher did not care. He started to rain blow after blow against her, but she merely stood in place. The punches may have sent gusts of wind tearing through the terrain and erupted shockwaves that could be felt for miles, but Cipher took each attack without blinking. Her golden aura continued to burn around her like candlelight. Sometime in the middle of him throwing blows at her, she sighed and spoke. “Likewise, Tin Man.”Raising her left hand, she literally attempted to flick him. Despite the minimalistic gesture, it carried enough force to level a city with ease. Regardless of whether she connected, she dashed backwards and slung the gun in front of her once more. Aiming for his chest, she fired once at the larger target. Then a coat of red and black overtook the gun blade, rendering its appearance demonic in nature. She fired another round towards him, this time the shockwave splitting another chasm in the ground, akin to the biblical parting of the Red Sea. She wondered for how long the little gnat could avoid her assaults. Take his head, Thirteen. Cipher thought to herself. Her opponent would not be able to see the ghostly entity move behind him, only feel the consequence. The jester-like apparition swung his scythe with an insidious cackle, trying to cleave the back of the swordsman’s neck. He hoped to behead him and send his blood spurting into the air like a fountain. Thirteen was in a good mood today ever since luring out the power within Cipher. To top off her sequence of attacks, Cipher conjured blue energy around her free hand. Lowering her gun for a moment, she arched her arm back and hurled a sophisticated orb of cerulean towards her aggressor. It would explode akin to a bomb, eradicating even more of the terrain and leaving Cipher to observe the wreckage.

Incomprehensible. Cipher had withstood his blow like it was nothing. The difference in power level was not that much....was it the difference in skill? It could not be his strength waning, every blow he delivered had an effect on their surrounding even if they were most negated by the Saiyan. When Cipher attempted to flick him away, naturally he swayed to the side as he knew that with such a power level he would be blown away but even that was enough to cause gust of wind to blow against his hair slightly. However, fast as he was even he couldn't dodge Cipher's shot towards his chest. So instead of dodging he raise his forearm to block the bullet, planting his feet in the ground enough a small crater formed underneath his feet. He manage to withstood the shockwave like a steady mountain in a furious hurricane. The swordsman may not have felt the presence of the supernatural but even he can feel a sudden change in temperature often associate with such event. Though he cannot see the presence he ducked forward all the same only to have his back nicked all the same, crimson liquid flow from his back. A confused look appear on his face at the moment as he couldn't see what had just attack him but he didn't let that deter his will to fight. Not that he had a chance to fathom anyway, as a massive cerulean orb of energy rushed towards him. This time he didn't bother to dodge or block but instead get into a stance that Cipher knew all too well as it mirrored her lover's perfectly. He sheathed his word and clench his fist, feet planted to earth as he gathered the energy within his arm. He then punch with an explosive force that rivals a star exploding. The cerulean orb actually split in half and scorched the terrain though it manage to singe his fist and his body slightly. However Cipher would note that the area in a V formation behind him was completely untouched. "Told ya. Not even close." The andorid shook his arm slightly as if to loosen it slightly before he drew his sword once more and unleash another chain of blow towards Cipher. The sword he used possess the ability to restore his wounds upon feeding the blood of his opponent. While it sounded like a demonic sword at first, in truth it was something achieved by the miraculous technology called nanomachines that allowed even "mere humans" to mimic the feats of other physically superior species and even trade blows with them. Meanwhile Audrey was in a state of shocked. Not because of the high pressured wind that cut her but how this "brother" of hers repeating her movement now and again. It was almost like looking a distorted mirror of herself, where she can see their similarities but everything else was warped slightly to beyond recognition. "Do you even know who you're fighting for? I bet that pathetic cunt didn't even tell you her history. I'm doing you a favor relieving of her current power core so she don't repeat the previous mistake from her incompetency."The android's blade was charged up with electricity, yet another technique that she had used in the past. Normally this would be where she would call him a poser for copying some of her moves but the sense of deja vu from watching them performed near perfectly made the insult slipped from her mind perfectly as the swordsman turn his head to her. "Audrey. Or A2. The previous leader of Earth special corps Talos. She was relieved of her position after her insubordination in Kerbala colony. The same operation cost many lives on both Earthlings and the Dominion." The swordsman spat with venom laced in his voice. "That's not my fault! The brass made the wrong call and..." Audrey replied but he was rudely interrupted by the swordsman. "You decided to do things on your own. Your incompetency cost us the mission and the lives of your comrades! And you had the gall to try and involve Earth in this mad war against the Empire after your spectacular performance against the Dominion on Kerbala colony last time." At this point Audrey knew that the desire for her power core was just beyond greed...the power within it was merely bonus topping. This was personal...whoever she led alongside with her to Kerbala war must be deeply connected to this person. "I was already punished for that! The Talos stripped everything they want from me. I had nothing to do with the Earth Kingdom after...""Yeah? And what do you call West City then??"A flash of lightning followed by the boom of thunder as the android was reminded of that event. The destruction within the city was much like the one surrounding her. She had join the rebellion against the CEO of Capsule corps in the hope of getting her full pardon but even that massively blow in her face causing thousands of lives lost in an instant as well as any hope of pardon. "I'd remind you of how catastrophic that went but you know...that's not even the worse of it. No...along the way you had developed a taste for it didn't you? A taste for torturing your opponent." With that the android unleash a furious barrage of sword, charged with electricity in an attempt to numbed the Saiyan's muscle and reduce her offensive capability. "You just need something big! and grand! to indulge it!" Each blow was emphasized by word and strong enough to wipe an entire country as he mercilessly struck at Cipher's gunblade. Audrey observed slack jawed. Even if his sword lack the strength to cut Cipher, it certainly cut up the android's spirit into pieces. For a long time she lacked goal, drifting from one mission to the next for money. Fighting against the Empire was her chance to make it right. A chance for redemption. Through the psychic link the Saiyan would be able to feel various negative emotions accumulated around the android but mostly of self-hatred and despair. Back during the battle against Ishmael and Marimba she had said it was because it was "her duty". Yet, the android cannot help but feel a slight rush upon toying with him before killing him. It was not the first time either, though she tried to hide the side from Cipher as she felt that her lover fell in love with how she appeared at first and not the monster she's hiding underneath. "You're wrong!! You're just projecting on me!!" yet one can sense a feeling of desperation inside the android's voice as she didn't believe a single word of it. If she admit such thing she will lose the little she gained in first place. Her beloved would certainly not look at her the same way again. The android avoided her flicking motion, distributing the force behind him. It caused stone and concrete alike to ripple under the waves of kinetic energy before they exploded into bits of debris and shrapnel. She obtained a vast power in becoming a Super Saiyan. With the amount of power coursing through her veins, Cipher felt as though she had to encumber every action as much as she could or risk destroying the entire planet. A simple flick could make stone appear no different than water, and that was not even a “strong” attack of hers. Disappointment filled her. She wanted to trivialize and break the failure before her. Regarding him as nothing more than a reject tin can, she supposed the future held the possibility of granting her the opportunity to flick his head free of his shoulders again. Her aloof expression endured, and her actions resumed. Cipher scored a hit with her gun, but he managed to use his arm as a makeshift barricade. She saw the bullet dig into the limb with reckless abandon. He managed to impress her marginally with his reaction time, but she knew her own surpassed it dozens of times over. In that moment, worry was a foreign concept to the ascended warrior. She achieved the legendary transformation of her race, renowned for hundreds of years, and despite the fury moving through her veins she felt accomplished. He seemed tough, given his ability to shrug off attacks. However, he seemed to be rapidly incurring more damage than she. In fact, he failed to leave a single scratch on her throughout the entire bout even though he landed hits. Audrey and Cipher fought somebody tenacious and useless offensively in the past, and now that man dwelt within other world. Cipher intended to send the android off there as well, but she supposed he lacked a soul to guide in that direction. She continued to regard him with her atypical lethargic stare. Thirteen found success in shaving away at the man’s neck. He let loose a steady flow of blood from his effort and remained unseen. Few people can detect the demonic apparition, which always boded well for her. With no presence, he could land attacks on her prey without them being able to dodge. His existence seemed ephemeral, but the damage tended to add up. Considering it a job well done, Cipher did not voice any complaints towards the demon. However, the wish for him to take his head with the action burned within her. This would have to do for now. The demon on the other hand seemed content with his work, and wagered he was not needed further. In turn, he decided to vanish even from Cipher’s sight before receding into her body. Even when contracted with the entity she was not sure of his ambitions, but she did not care. In truth, she was positive his participation stemmed from outlandish hunger for amusement and suffering. After launching her explosive orb of energy towards him, the opponent assumed a familiar stance. It was the same stance she witnessed from Audrey on many occasions before, causing her to narrow her eyes. He met the javelin with an explosive punch, though despite his theatrics he still took the full brunt of the attack. Blue light enveloped his frame and left him singed from the impact. “You protected the dirt behind you more than yourself. I guess that isn’t atypical in your line of work.” Cipher said, alluding to his pathetic dead friends with a mocking whistle. Witnessing the man periodically emulate Audrey, she started to get a little suspicious. It failed to surface on her expression, but it seemed peculiar for him to continue using the moves and techniques of someone he clearly held in disdain. By now, it was obvious the two had a storied history together. Whether or not Cipher cared about it was another matter completely. The tin man went on to insult Audrey and assert that he was doing her a favour. She did not answer the insult, but with every insidious word he spat towards her significant other, the narrower his chance of survival became. She intended to kill him in such a manner that it would trivialize even the brutality exhibited towards Marimba. Aozaki left out a lot of details when she told her about Audrey. She supposed she did it to protect her along with their relationship, and she felt gratitude towards the redhead. Cipher learned about her discharge from the service and her exceptional performance, along with her original dislike for Saiyans, but nothing beyond that. Cipher felt a tinge of amusement when he pursued getting under her skin or trying to convert her to his side. Whatever it was he was attempting, she did not know at that point. It was a little late for negotiations. Again the man used a technique reminiscent of the fellow Valkyrie. Lightning saturated the blade her wielded, probably some kind of attempt to lock up her muscles and thus limit her ability to fight. Deadened nerves lead to losses during competitions, but he failed to daunt her with the display. If anything, she felt a sick to her stomach that he failed to get any techniques original to his own name. She supposed with Audrey’s service they must originate from the same unit. Maybe they owed their proficiency to the same teachers. Apparently, Audrey was relieved of her position because of an incident in Kerbala. The planet sounded unfamiliar to Cipher whose experiences were only now taking to the galactic level. Due to a compulsion to go on a solo operation, she paid the price in the lives of comrades. Aozaki mentioned nothing about that back when she provided the mechanical arm. Ambiguous feelings stirred within her, but she isolated them to prevent anyone from getting a good read on her. Using his lightning sword, he rushed her with a barrage of powerful slashes. At first, she decided to humour him and avoid the attacks by moving out of the way. The force within every blow cleaved the ground around her apart, making it appeared mangled by a wild animal. As he attacked, he went on another story about her partner’s enjoyment in torture. With her continued denial and inner turmoil, Cipher felt Audrey’s feelings through the psychic link between them. And then Cipher caught his sword with her bare hand. The sword failed to slice her flesh just as the lightning failed to numb her muscles. Her lips curled into an eerie smile while she looked the opponent in the eyes. “Are you done with your little sob story yet?” Cipher tilted her head to the side quizzically. As she did, a sheen of black and red started to course through the man’s sword while she held it in her grip. Using her ungodly strength, she attempted to use her signature attack by twisting his sword around and slowly shoving it through him. No matter if successful, Cipher released a wave of force that would separate them once again. Pluto’s temperature failed to emulate the frigidity in the laugh that followed. “You and your ilk are pathetic. Always crying to the strong and blaming deaths on them instead of your own weakness. You and your pitiful friends died, and will die, because of one reason only: you’re not strong. Instead of shoving the blame on others, you should have addressed your own sorry state and survived. You can take your sentiment and woes to hell with you, or wherever you toy soldiers go when you kick the bucket.” Cipher spat with another fit of laughter. “I’m glad, really. Thank you for clearing all of this up. I could not possibly be anymore proud of my girlfriend in this moment. So much that I think when I bring you to your knees, I’m going to watch her torture you to death. That’s all you are, livestock to be consumed and enjoyed by those with more power. If you are blind to the benefits of conflict, how no society has grown to where it is today without it, then you are a fool.”In an instant, Cipher dashed by him and swung the bladed end of the gun blade towards him, attempting to cleave his arm off his body. Spinning around to face him once again, she fired a round towards him. The bolt was potent enough to resemble a crimson laser as it split the planet’s crust once more. “You don’t have a remote control to paralyze me, little boy! Come, come wallow in your own ineptitude one last time before you die.”

Once more, the android's assault failed to gain purchase on Cipher. Yet, he didn't seem daunted....it wasn't like he had never fought enemy that relied on overwhelming speed in order to generate the illusion of invincibility. Cipher's feat so far was certainly quite impressive in that regard but it's just a matter of time that she'd slip. He just needed to get at that point and bring things crashing against her. The android's blade was caught barehanded by the Saiyan and even twisted against him. He was surprised that he almost wasn't able to react in time, but he twisted his arm slightly and adjusted the grip so that the only cut she manage was a nick on his gloved hand. Yet the force was enough to split them apart once more as he listened to what Cipher has to say. "It's far too early to celebrate your victory yet Saiyan."When Cipher charged towards him to bereft the android of his arm, the android swayed back slightly to dodge the attack and the bullet that followed by a hair's breadth. His eyes narrowed as the heat of the shot was like one fired from a massive railgun, a blast of hot air can be felt in it's path of destruction. Sheathing his sword, a dynocaps pop out of his hands to which he crunched them and a handgun formed on his own hand. He immediately cock it in one smooth motion and fire it with such a speed that even Cipher would be hard press to dodge it. "You don't even know what you're talking about. Strength is a matter of perspective and contrary to your primitive ideology, goes far beyond beating the crap of the other to oblivion and consuming the weak for their own purpose. Or what? You are gonna consume your girlfriend there the moment you rise above her in strength? Why not do it now while she lay there inept!" With that the android closed the distance between them before unleashing another furious combo of light blows towards the Saiyan. P-proud..?The android can hardly believe her ears. Of all the feelings she possibly could have felt, pride was not one that the android expected. She had been constantly hiding them, masking them under the strict soldier code and yet what her lover had said was something that threw her out of the loop. For now, she could only watch as the battle continue to rage on before her eyes. Post Word Count: 416 Total Word Count: 2581 Cipher 1d6·1d100+50·1d10·1d100+50·1d10iUpDzDw7

Once again, he was able to mitigate her signature attack with his palm. Despite all the anguish, fury and rage she summoned to wield as her weapon in that moment, the man continued to deal with her attacks as though she were merely throwing pebbles in a playground. At the very least it was able to split the ground apart, resulting in another fracture in the already ransacked terrain. More fuel added to the flames burning within her, Cipher resolved to kill him slow. Instead of giving him a warriors’ death, she intended to humiliate and destroy him in ways his machine brain could not fathom. She started to wonder what the fucker was made from. There she was, wielding the iconic transformation of her warrior race, and she failed to find purchase on some android in a trench coat. His allies remained in literal pieces strewn across the battlefield, but he remained stalwart in the face of opposition. The amount of directions Cipher could point them out was only rivalled by how haphazard his code of ethics was. A few taunts about premature celebrations later and he poised himself to deal with her other onslaught. For the – Cipher lost count of how many times exactly – umpteenth time, he managed to just barely avoid her attack. Frustration built in her stomach as she clenched her hand into a fist, drawing more blood from the shallow cut etched into her palm. She replaced the amused expression on her face with blatant irritation, her lips neutral and her eyes blazing with murderous intent. If he thought he was getting out of this alive, he was sorely mistaken. Cipher would do everything in her power to make him suffer. After pulling a handgun out of dynocaps, he shot more bullets towards her. As though the projectiles were mosquitoes, she swatted them out of the air with dismissive hand gestures. They collided with the ground with such force it splintered and caved in the stone and dirt like plywood but did nothing to her. With his incapability to do anything to her and her attacks seeming less than effective against him, she wondered how long the bout would last. She did not know how long Audrey would hold out in that state, and she felt a pang of worry towards her condition. Additionally, she needed to be mindful of her reservoir of energy. “You’re such an insufferable idiot. Who said anything about strength not being subjective?” She sneered in response, elevating her left hand and blocking the onslaught of blows with her index finger. “You lack it in every possible department. Clearly deficient in intelligence, brawn, general usefulness, what do you possess that could possibly be equated to strength, trash? And consumption was metaphor for using someone or something to sate a need of your own. That is what is meant to be a consumer, or do you have some fetishes you’d like to talk about?” She doubted he would be able to understand basic logic, and she wondered why she humoured him with a response in the first place. “But sure, let’s continue more ethic lessons from the android cunt who rips people’s hearts out at a whim,” She spat, catching his fist in hand and pointing the gun blade straight against his chest. “Right before I tear yours out of your fucking chest.”Three consecutive shots followed, the conclusive one firing with railgun-like proportions that razed the battlefield under torrential force. All the while, her golden aura flared and burned brightly around her while she called upon her deeper reserves of energy.

The volley of insults continued but this time they were accompanied by railgun-like projectile. With his fist caught, swordsman couldn't duck or block in time thus making him an easy target for Cipher's bullets. When the projectile hit him, he can only emit a grunt as he was sent crashing down to the surface of the earth like he was hit by a wrecking ball. A small crater formed where he landed and Cipher would be able to see his body emanating some sort of steam. At first it looked like he was finally taken out for good before the android twitches and slowly get up into a half crouch, gasping for breathe. A major part of his torso as well as half of his face no longer maintain the same skin tone, instead they were blackish and grey as if he was burnt. A strange sight to some but Audrey knew that if something like that were to happen it meant the nanomachines working under the android's skin were pushed to the limit. The fact that Cipher manage to swat his attacks like that and even dealt a heavy damage to him irritate him even more, causing his blood to boil. He wanted to pay her back tenfold for this humiliation. Bashed her head against the concrete until her face was of the same colour as the armor and her eyes. "Clearly you missed the endurance department Saiyan." With effort, the android pulled himself up as he glared at her, grinding his teeth. At this rate he will be grinded to nothing even before he manage to make a dent on the duo. He needed to adapt and though he was reluctant at first, his anger came to the point where he didn't really care what about to follow anymore. "Paradigm shift." For a second his golden eyes glowed but other than that there were no other visible changes on him besides his body language showing a slightly more aggressive look than before. Internally, he adjusted his strategy and even downloaded multiple techniques from the Talos database, allowing him to adapt to any situation. His left hand make a swiping motion and soon multiple orbs of silver light formed all around him. This was followed by a finger gun gesture in Audrey's direction causing the orb to accelerate towards the target. However, even before it manage to reach Audrey the orb exploded with the force of a nuclear warhead which sent hundreds of hard light particles towards them both. Cipher found purchase with her attack, slamming the man into the ground. His body crumpled against the impact, caving the crust in as though it were nothing but weak plaster. The shockwave dominated the terrain for miles, giving credit to the amount of power she backed every attack with. She intended to kill him and leave nothing left for what he did to Audrey. A thousand years of pain would be dispensed into his pathetic body before she tossed his ashes to the wind. However, perhaps she hit him hard enough to bring the bout to a close. It felt good to hit him. She enjoyed every bit of pain she dealt to the android. Even though his kind were strong, she despised him for what he did to her lover. Callously plunging his hand into her chest and stealing a vital component, she intended to return the experience in kind. Cipher wanted to hit him more. Over and over, she desired to leave his body in shambles until even dental records failed to prove his identity. However, it was too early to celebrate her victory. Time and time again the Saiyan fought people capable of getting back up after suffering critical damage. In turn, she kept her gun poised and tentatively approached the crater. As expected, the man started showing signs of life before pushing himself back up. Cipher figured, with his previous show of resilience, he had no shortage of willpower and durability. An attack like that would not slay the aggressor. One part of her wished he would just die already, wanting to end an existence that dared harm Audrey. The other part of her wanted to drag it out for as long as possible to accentuate the pain he felt. He needed to suffer well. Cipher cocked the gun blade and kept it aimed at his head, waiting for him to speak. He directed an insult towards her cardio, but she did not bat an eye. Unlike the previous times, she showed no signs of losing her composure. Rather than satisfying him with a response, she trained her frigid gaze on his charred figure with the same level of detachment she started with. There was no use talking with someone who she intended to kill and put through hell. She did not value his opinion, his ideologies, and held a grudge towards him. Like his allies she already felled, she felt nothing. However, he did have some amount of logic behind his words. She needed to keep herself in check with the amount of energy she expended or suffer the consequences. The Super Saiyan form was a double-edged blade in that regard. She possessed such an amount of power that it seemed to “leak” from her constantly, resulting in the slowly burning gold aura framing her body. Cipher perceived it as potent, but a waste of her energy. The field of energy did protect her from attacks though, which allowed her to not care about most of the attacks he threw her way. The android mentioned something about a paradigm shift before his eyes turned gold. Cipher’s eyes widened marginally while she watched him closely, taking note of the illustrious silver spheres he conjured. Supposedly growing tired of using the same ineffective tactics, he resorted to greater exploits. She received a sickening feeling from each of the orbs he conjured, and thanks to her synesthesia she did not have to look towards Audrey to “see” her compromised position. Before he even started whipping them in their direction, Cipher already vanished and appeared in front of her, kindling her massive aura around her akin to an aegis. Crossing her arms in an “X” formation, she watched the orbs explode before arriving at their mark. The premature detonation resulted in an atomic explosion, swallowing the environment in an eerie silver light that disintegrated almost everything in its wake. The cloud of debris sucked inward towards the source, before continuing expanding for tens of miles on end. The battlefield was once again pervaded by a thick veil of ground stone and residual particles of buildings, resembling cumulonimbus clouds before eventually starting to clear. The first thing the android would see was her aura burning bright around her. She lowered her arms, and she appeared to be unharmed by the attack. However, she witnessed some of the damage seep through and contact Audrey, filling her with even more hatred than before. Cipher’s expression contrasted her emotions. Though she appeared detached and calm, the fury in her soul burned hotter than the sun. Cipher reached towards her wrist and undid what appeared to be a bracelet. When she twisted it, it unlatched from her arm. Dropping it onto the ground resulted in an explosion of dust and debris from the sheer weight the accessory carried. She repeated the gesture with her robotic arm, taking off the golden implement and dropping it with enough force to evoke a tsunami. These were her magically empowered weights, bogging down her speed, power, and ability to commit to better proceedings in battle. Old habits die hard, and she seemed to have forgotten to take them off in her anger. However, now there would be no more holding back. The Saiyan held out both hands, her robotic right in front of the organic left. Narrowing her eyes, she prompted a mechanism inside of her arm that suddenly transformed it. The prosthesis expanded, gained supercharged prongs and cannisters, along with a circular red and orange piece of glass in the center. Revealing her trump card, she infected her own mechanical arm – not a stolen weapon or a sword – with Code Zero, blackening it and tainting it with crimson veins. Even before attacking, Audrey would be able to feel dull heat radiating off her body. Unlike her illustrious aura, this heat was of an unnatural variety. Even Kadaj with his ocean of confidence and anger would be able to understand this was very, very wrong. An electrical whir briefly preceded the roar of flames. A football field-sized amorphous column of orange and red fire shot in the man’s direction, incinerating everything in its wake with reckless abandon. The heat was unbearable. She condensed it, but the raging inferno disintegrating matter at the molecular level wherever she pointed it, razing everything she wanted to cease existing with the temperature of a supernova. Even stone and earth skipped an entire stage, instantly being reduced to ash before it could even become lava. Stone untouched by the flamethrower turned to molten rock. When it tapered off, she shot it again to wherever he chose to relocate, if he did at all. When flames became hot enough, eventually the intensity bleached its pigment somewhat white. All Cipher could hear and smell was fire and the remains of intoxicants she set ablaze, and she could not wait until she added the android to the aroma. Audrey | 1153/4290

The Saiyan rushed towards Audrey's side when the android unleashed his energy orbs as he expected which was why he detonated them prematurely. The force of the explosion was enough to be heard for miles around them, consuming everything in their wake. He had hope that it would damage the arrogant Saiyan even a little, as he could sense the aura acting as a shield in front of the crippled android. All hopes were dashed immediately as he noticed Cipher was completely unharmed by the assault. The android struggled to understand what just happened, the difference in power level was completely minimal and yet he may as well be throwing paper airplanes towards her in the hope of delivering paper cut. He directed his attention towards Audrey, noticing that some of the light shrapnel somehow manage to seep through the shield. Not enough to grievously injure her but it was enough to allow a cruel smirk crept up on his face. Meanwhile, Audrey who was watching the silver orbs propelled immediately towards her struggle to move out of the way or at least shield herself. However she was spared from such effort when Cipher appeared in front of her, protecting her save from the spare few though the android could hardly blame her. She bit her lip to prevent herself from making any sound that would cause needless worry to her lover however she wasn't quite certain she achieve that effect after watching Cipher's concern glance at her. The weighted part of her clothing fell with a sickening thud on the ground, signifying that she was about to take the battle seriously. Activating the mechanism inside the mechanical arm, the prosthetic arm morph into a weapon of massive destruction, just it's spec alone make the android stare in wonder. Did Touko craft this just for her? She can only imagine the price tag behind them or the costly maintenance of that thing. A huge roar of flames followed, scorching the entire battlefield and rendering everything into ashes. It made Audrey sweat just from looking at the infernal firepower unleashed and being this close only magnify that. A sense of pride filled her as well, seeing Cipher had develop this far compare to how she found her on the barren field. Surely the android been incinerated into bits by that attack yes? The swordsman watched as flame rushed towards him and for once, he felt fear for the first time. He directed energy into his palm, the nanomachines concentrating all around the surface of his skin as he attempted to withstand the heat. It hurts. It hurts a lot. He would have try to dodge them had the flame not cover such a large surface of area but the only he can do for now was wait, even as the flame crippled his circuits. The flame barely died out before the both of them could hear the howl of anger. From the rage of inferno, the android emerge even before the flame died out. His skin darker than the moonless night, his golden eyes shone with the brightness of the sun, the wrath of his face made him look like a demon emerging from hell itself. A loud warcry beheld his arrival as he attempt to smash both Cipher and Audrey behind her with his fist, the impact of which rival that of an asteroid. The flames found purchase, adding the stench of rotten flesh to the myriad of pollutants wafting through the air. Putrid as it may have been, the Saiyan enjoyed the scent of him being gradually reduced to soot. In the aftermath, a brief silenced blanketed the atmosphere; the only thing she could hear was the crackling of thatch. The android shattered the silence with an agonized and frenzied howl. It failed to elicit change in her stony expression. The only thing Cipher did in response was making a motion with her organic hand, stirring something in the thick plumes of smoke behind the opponent. In truth, his ability to withstand the flames did not surprise her. It meant that, as she previously predicted, she could burn him for a much longer period. The woman’s composure endured while the target insisted on attacking the duo again, charging forward and hurling his fist towards them. Backed with force mirroring an asteroid, she felt the wind billow her golden mane while his hand erased the distance between them. Like before, she knew that the force would connect with Audrey, but she needed to try and mitigate it as much as she could. And she did. Raising her hand, she caught his fist. With nowhere else to go, the explode used her as a medium and transferred to the ground. Jagged shrapnel flew in every direction, the ground fracturing under the weight of the tremendous kinetic energy fuelling his attack. However, as with many times before, he failed to inflict any damage on her person. She stared at him coldly as though looking through him, her eccentric green eyes conveying her murderous intention. Pivoting on her heel, she kept holding onto his hand and threw him in the other direction behind her. At that moment, remnants of the fire she shot earlier followed him and attempted to detonate while he was still airborne. Cipher used her psychic powers to round up all the fire, condense them into globes of flame, and sent them in his direction while he soared through the air. Not only this, but she pointed her hand and released another devastating column of infernal tyranny, once again enveloping everything in her path in an inferno exceeding the creation of stars in sheer temperature. Should he move, she would simply move her hand to follow wherever he evaded to. The end was nigh. Audrey | 400/4690

It was like trying to stand in the middle of the earthquake. The impact of the punch can be felt even though Cipher's fist intercept his strike, shrapnels and debris digging further into her flesh. It took all the android's effort not to let out any sound of displeasure escape from the lips, Cipher had her back turned towards her and was in the zone now. The slightest distraction from her can easily turn the table in the favor of the android. At least that was the intent yet for some reason, the android in question see through her guise like a paperthin mask. He was smirking...at something. The whole time Cipher wasn't scratched...not a single bit despite the similarity of their power level, yet he was smirking. It was then Audrey realized that the target was never Cipher at the start, that he had long since shift his target towards her the moment he realize his battle is unwinnable. Just like one does not begrudge the weapon their enemy wield, the swordsman saw Cipher as Audrey's weapon. Audrey hated this feeling. Here she was, helpless as a newborn and relying on her beloved to fight for her. She possessed a strength greater than the both of them combined but with a flick of a switch, she turned into a marionette whose strings had been cut. It wasn't the fact that she wasn't able to fight alongside her, Audrey had often participate battles as Cipher's manager so watching her from the sideline was not new to her, regardless whether Cipher was struggling with her fight or cruising through them. So why was it that her heart hurt so much...? The swordsman was propelled away from her before it was followed by incineration of the flame, a cry of pain can be heard by them both. Normally such things were music to her ears especially if it was her enemy but right now they were moreso an annoyance. She couldn't understand. Shouldn't she be happy that Cipher was beating him silly? Yet what was this steadily heavy feeling growing in her chest. She wanted that feeling to go away, she wanted to simply be happy for her. Yet her heart did not heed her thoughts and the emotion only fester the more she wished it away. "Not... yet..."The android was on fire. Yet he keep pushing on no matter what. It would have been better if he scream and flee but the flight part of fight or flight response for Talos agents had long been suppressed and Audrey see that practice continue even when she no longer practice. They would only retreat when necessary but never out of fear. That's what made them a terrifying force to face against. He raised his hand upward to the heavens. The cloud on the heaven itself gathered into a whirlpool, causing lightning jump from one cloud to another. That solved the mystery of the manipulation of weather earlier but she highly doubted he was here to bring rain on them. The area around them starts to charged up and what normally takes a few minutes to prepare, took mere seconds thanks to the heat Cipher was throwing around earlier. In fact, she can see multiple clouds in the sky that were fully charged up. "....begone with thunder."Lightning flashed in the sky before one descended unto Earth towards them both. Unlike ordinary lightning, it was magnified to the point that it's strength alone would have completely vaporized an entire country in a flash. The thunder it generated sounded like someone detonated a high explosive warhead near them. The electromagnetic pulse would have fried all but the most shielded electronics in the area and even then, it will still have suffer from electrical problem. It was his last parting gift to the duo in his attempt to go out with a blaze of glory. Cipher Post word count: 650 Total Word Count: 4215.

Cipher redirected her attention towards the skies above, watching them stir with electric influence. She narrowed her eyes slightly, and then breathed a tired sigh. No rain came, which meant he utilized the clouds to generate a thunderous attack. Beginning to tire of his suicidal antics, she planned out in her mind how she would avoid the attack should bolts of divine light descend from the skies to smite her. Her immediate concern was Audrey, who she had long since deduced to be the new target. His onslaught began after some verbal theatrics. Looking around, she failed to see any ammunition laying in wake this time for her to use. Bending her knees, she assumed a preparatory stance. Cradling both hands to her side, heat started to gather within her grasp while lightning accumulated within the clouds. Thick tethers of blue plummeted from the sky, and Cipher simply disappeared completely. The electrical waves washed over the land, causing a slew of problems for whatever remained on it, and singeing her organic arm to some small extent just before she managed to teleport out of the way. However, he would find the fact she was nowhere to be seen even more foreboding. Had his lightning nuke finally felled the Saiyan? He would be able to hear an odd sound directly behind him before she forced both palms forward and launched an explosive wave of flame to consume his entire body in an unrelenting infernal embrace. This time, it carried enough force and fire behind it to start obliterating and tearing apart the land for hundreds of miles ahead of her. The amorphous wave of heat and light eventually expanded to such a point it coasted off the entire planet, venturing deep into space before eventually tapering off. Hopefully he wasn’t dead yet. She had one last thing she wanted to do. Audrey | 310/4990

For Audrey, the sign that a lightning was about to descend was too obvious. Travelling at lightspeed it was the nature version of Instant transmission, crossing the distance in an instance. The crippled android willed herself to move but the only thing she manage was to let out was a grunting sound. Lightning and electricity were her specialty and she had long since master the art of taming them. Were she able to move, she would have redirect the lightning back onto the sick prick and even shield them both completely. Yet now she can only watch helplessly as Cipher teleported away from her side to cut down the source of that lightning that fried everything under the heaven. As electricity light up her pain nerves, the android bit the urge to cry out in pain. The pain was unbearable. The humiliation was insufferable. Though her body and life still remained, her confidence had indeed "begone with thunder". Rain started to fall onto the surface once more, as if reflecting the anguished she repressed in her heart. On the surface she tried to remain positive for her beloved, her face brimming with unwavering faith and confidence yet underneath the tempest of self-loathing continue to rage unabated. The howling of anger made by the android...it could have escaped from her own lips and she wouldn't be able to tell the difference. At least he can voice such pain freely...the circumstances prevented the android from doing so. Not until she was assured that they left the area and with something that muffle her voice completely. Meanwhile, the swordsman look at the result of his work. Regardless of how fast Cipher's speed was, even she couldn't have outrun that lightning spear. He couldn't find her anywhere in sight...the girl even left Audrey's side. He wasn't sure where she could have gone but if he manage to grab the core in time... That was until he heard the sound and sense Cipher's energy signature behind him. Gritting his teeth, he turned around to punch her with a loud howl in an attempt to smash the non-chalant look off her face. "YOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUU BIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" His fist didn't even connect with anything before the android was consumed by the flame wave. It razed him completely and burned his flesh into crisps, exposing the katchin alloy exoskeleton underneath. Liquid gushed out from his body though they immediately evaporate into air. The fact that he was still alive was a testament to how far humanity has gotten with sheer technology alone, proving to the entire world that even if their flesh were weaker to other species their ingenuity allow them to develop one that can take on a planet destroying attack and still remaining. The android lay still on the ground. He couldn't move. No, he was too damage to move anymore. He could only stare as Cipher approached, unable to defend for himself. Cipher listened to the man speak, his utterances lagged by agony and his body nearly reduced to tethers. The underlying metal mesh and components were exposed for the eye to see, heralding waves of pleasure that nearly made the Saiyan weak in the knees. Her eerie green eyes fixed on the android; she looked at him as though he were a particularly offensive insect. There was no verbal response. There were barely any thoughts associated with her conclusive attack. She was simply a walking manifestation of unbridled rage and hate. If the man boasted any semblance of intelligence, he would realize his words were falling upon deaf ears. His final statement did not merit any visible reaction from the force of destruction, just as shouting into an encroaching tornado could not merit any emotional response. While he was incapable of moving, she slowly walked towards him. Her power continued to expand, distorting the space around her with every step with all-encompassing ripples. The anger she felt was not like a tumultuous storm that lashed out at everything around it. Rather, her composure held together like finely linked chainmail. No traces of emotion appeared on her face, sterile eyes emotionally dead aside from the murderous intent behind them. The only sounds occurring was the whizz of her golden aura and the collision of water droplets. Rain descended onto her form like amorphous diamonds, the pellets succeeding in their collaborative effort to dampen her golden mane of hair and clothes. His insults—his mettle, his hate, his power, they were all as ineffectual as the precipitation descending from the blackened heavens above. At a time that felt like ages ago, she defeated Atreus during an uncanny tournament that pitched the universe’s finest—and weakest—against one another in hopes of glory and riches. In that bout, she used an unusual piece of equipment to batter her opponent into a state of unconsciousness. With the flick of her wrist, the empowered Saiyan summoned that wicked implement into the grasp of her cybernetic right arm while she casually sauntered towards her to-be victim. She dragged the baseball bat against the ground while she approached, revealing its new twisted addition—lines of barbed wire encasing its entire frame. Pursing her lips, she started to whistle nonchalantly. High-pitched and constant, the sounds of hickory and metal scraping against the ground along with the whistling melded with the sound of rainfall. This was the limits of her response—if you could call it that. She continued her march, frigid eyes staring him down until she finally arrived at his position. Raising her foot, she stomped on his chest to keep him in place. The whistling transfigured as she raised her weapon into the air. Instead of the constant high-pitched tone, she started to whistle along the tune of a song. She whistled the melody of ‘On a Bicycle Built For Two’, the song sung by the supercomputer Hal 9000 during its death throes in a certain old film, an overt allusion to Kadaj’s status as a dying artificial intelligence. She continued to whistle this tune as the red and black sheen of Code Zero overtook the bat. She continued to whistle this tune as she repeatedly brought the weapon down on his head, splattering robotic chunks and synthetic liquid into the ensuing ran. She continued to whistle this tune even when his head resembled ground meat. She continued to whistle this tune as even while she hammered the bat against the bloodied dirt. She continued to whistle the tune even when she was just smashing the weapon into nothing but fresh ground and worms. Cipher would keep swinging until it made her hands bleed, whistling unperturbed, pounding the utensil against the ground after he was long dead, for minutes—even hours if someone did not stop her. The pain had stopped. Audrey can feel her muscle moving again. Not enough to get up and walk but her motor function had return to the point where she can now move. Audrey turned to look at Cipher and watched as she beat up the source of her pain today. While the sight appeared soothing to the eyes, it didn't escape her attention that her hands were bleeding. She considered calling out but her throat were so dry she can barely squeeze out a croak. Even if she could they would be drowned by the sound of the rainfall anyway. Thus without further ado, she crawled across the muddy ground. At times like this she was thankful she was part of special ops, countless times she had been crawling across her stomach under barb wires. The closer she crawled, the more she saw that Cipher had no sign of stopping. The thing she pummel was basically a mesh of grounded meat and metal at this point. Synthetic blood splattered everywhere, painting a dreadful scene on the Saiyan. A lesser person would have turned away, worried that they may turn the bat on them next. Yet she keep crawling closer, her gaze fixed on the injury of her hands. The whistling now greeted her ears. The ground reverbrated with each impact. She was certain at this point that Cipher wasn't just making sure of the destruction of the android. The tempest of anger in her heart had manifested in her hand as she keep on bashing like a machine. It wasn't until Audrey reach her ankle that she touch her. Dangerous perhaps as the Saiyan could unleash her anger on her next by accident. Yet the worry didn't even cross her mind. "Mmm, that's....enough Cipher. You did well....my Saiyan Knight." There were no thoughts—barely any emotion aside from rage. The only thing Cipher heard for an alarming amount of time was the repeated impacts with her weapon and the ground. Her frenzy persisted through the rain, each consecutive blow more cathartic than its preceding brethren. Adrenaline coursing through her body, she did not feel the wounds her hands suffered at her expense. Something broke inside of the warrior’s mind, and her appetite for causing the wretch beneath her misery seemed insatiable. And then she felt a tug on her ankle. Cipher stopped mid-blow, holding the armament above the ground. Synthetic blood and gore covered her body, tapering down her skin and clothing in thin tethers. Despite her exertion, her breathing seemed in check. Every instinct in her body encouraged her to turn around and continue swinging, but the familiar voice cut through her stupor. Life returned to her eyes, the hilt of her improvised weapon slipping out of her water-slick hands and hitting the ground with a dull thud. Even if she seemed less than injured or taxed, there was an unevenness to her breathing. Receiving an intriguing moniker did not seem to elicit much of a reaction besides halting her disturbing onslaught. Emotion flooded her body once again, but she still seemed groggy as if waking from a dream. Her eyes turned towards Audrey, and seeing her in that state ushered in a sense of urgency she almost forgot while drinking in a deluge of virulent anger. After a few long moments, she nodded her head in response. It was a slow nod, as if her words took a moment to register in her frenzied mind. “Audrey…” Cipher said, her golden aura fading. Her golden hair and eyes remained, seemingly maintaining her Super Saiyan state due to the possibility of running into more hostiles. The man mentioned something about more people coming for her lover, which meant she wasted time pummeling the ground. They needed to leave the area immediately, cloak the ship with stealth technology, and fly silently until they were sufficiently recovered. “I’m sorry.”What she apologized for remained a mystery she chose not to elaborate on. Cipher ducked down for a moment, helping her up to her feet and slinging her arm over her shoulder. Instead of using conventional means of getting back to their ship, she placed two fingers on her own temple and teleported the two of them back to the safety of their cruiser.
