Netto woke up early this morning as his shop was needing to be improved a little bit before it was opened today. He stretched out of bed, got dressed, grabbed some breakfast, and went down stairs to his storefront. He got a new shipment of a very rare breed of flower whose nectar is capable of neutralizing most poisons from animals and even increase ones resistance to poison. The problem was they only grew in very humid conditions, so humid in fact his humidifier he has set over his other plants wont be enough.
Netto set to work get a glass tank set up and built in such a way that it would trap even the smallest moisture turned the humidifier in the tank on and in seconds water was collecting on the glass. "Perfect" he said to himself as he lifted the lid and place the seeds into the dirt buried them, closed the tank, and resealed it.
He looked at his watch to see he finished just in time for opening. He walked over to the front of the store and lifted up the metal shutters while at the same time turning the sign out front on. Walking outside to see his sign working fine the shop looking good he sighed, picked his morning newspaper, sat down at the front desk, kicked his feet up and started his day like he usually did.
He read the newspaper waiting for costumers, Audrey his friend and owner of the gym right across the street waved to him as she came to open it for the day. He waved back and continue waiting, this had become routine everyday it was like clock work to him, it had a few days since his last adventure or spar and he was growing restless and was secretly hoping something would happen to add some spice to the monotony.

The feminine voice whispered into Felaern's ear with a deadly hush as it asked a simple question, "Do you understand what you're to do, Felaern?"Turning his head slightly to the side to look at Mousse, the middle-aged Konatsian Sorceress that served as his personal handler, Felaern gave a quick nod in response to her query. Yes, he knew exactly what he was doing. Or more properly, what was about to be done to him. For the Cabal that had created him, the ones who had molded him into a near-perfect Guardian, had decided that there was nothing else they could do to improve upon his design. The only thing left to do at this point was to send the Golem out into the universe at large to begin gathering intelligence of any possible threat to Konats or its people... and to ensure that Felaern had the power and experience utilizing it to successfully defend against any such threat. To that end Felaern was to be sent away from Konats, far away. Noting his apparent understanding Mousse continued her speech, "Good. Now the place we're sending you to is called Earth. From every bit of information we could muster about it, it is a world rampant with advanced technology yet is relatively peaceful, even being within an alliance with the Namekians, who are known peace-loving folk. Hopefully it will be the ideal place to test your abilities in a somewhat safe environment as well as gain intel." As she spoke Mousse guided Felaern down the center of a large room, at the far end was a large raised plinth, several pillars adorning its edge, and a great complex arcane circle was dug deep into its stone flooring. This was the portal room, designed for instantly transporting someone a great distance through mystical means. Not for the first time Felaern felt an urge of curiosity and perhaps even jealousy. The mages here had never granted him access to the tomes and spells that related to transportation, despite his stated interest in them. They had, in fact, looked terrified the first time he had even asked about it. Mousse had said that perhaps some time in the future when Felaern had a better grasp on his mystical powers; yet that day was not to be this day. Moving with a sure step Felaern quickly made his way to the center of the raised plinth, several mages approaching from the corners of the room, some repeating some snippet of a mystic phrase, others merely staring at Felaern in silence. The only one who was willing to speak directly to Felaern was Mousse, and she gave an exasperated sigh as the others began to go through the motions and spoke the words to invoke the magic that would send Felaern across the Galaxy. "Gods I still cannot believe we're doing this. You're not ready yet. We're. Not ready..."As the magic gathered the world began to feel less and less real to Felaern, as if everything was going to slip away at a moment's notice and replaced by something different. Like he was going to be replaced. Yet this was to better himself, to gain power and intelligence. This was... "For Konats." Felaern uttered with confidence, nearly distracting those casting the spell, and causing a visible reaction from Mousse, who put her hands to her mouth in surprise. Felaern almost never spoke aloud unless he needed to. But as the magic began to take hold of him, and Felaern was beginning to slip away, it felt the right thing to say in that moment, and Felaern was blinded by a great white light while he had a smile on his face...
As for the bored Netto? He was about to get his wish. For with a sudden sound of rushing winds and crackling thunder, a great hole suddenly yawned wide in the air above the city. A center of blackness expanding for a few short moments, seeming ready to engulf the entire city. But then the yawn ended, and as the hole in the sky snapped shut a single being was left behind, falling to the ground...falling....towards Netto's shop! Or at least very close to it, as in fact the falling object would strike not Netto's shop or even the gym across the street, but the street itself! THUNK. With a very odd sounding crash the object struck the ground, raising a small cloud of dust in its wake, hiding the object within for a minute or so. By the time the dust had cleared enough to see, Felaern would stand there, slowly dusting off his clothing and giving a curious glance at his surroundings. They were certainly different to what he knew, and Felaern would be happily willing to stand there and gawk at the sight of the city if no one interrupted him for several minutes.

Netto was leaning back into his chair when he heard it start to break. "Oh crap!.... Man I guess that's what happens when you buy furniture used." suddenly a massive crash happened and the floor shook, it caused Netto to slam his back into the chair causing it to snap in half. He was now lying on the ground with one of his feet still on the counter, he got up slowly looking around for damage see his new tank had cracks in it. Netto quickly grabbed some duck tape and taped up the cracks to keep the moisture in it before looking outside, see a small crater in the middle of the street and see his store front windows shattered and his sign hanging from the front by its wires. Netto stormed outside seeing a man with pointed ears and green clothing, something about him seemed off Netto couldn't read his energy signature properly, this pointed toward Android as he's met his fair share. "Hey knife ears!" Netto screamed at the guy "you got three seconds to tell me why you crashed landed here. I'm asking not only cause im an earthling and you wrecked my shop, but also cause I'm one of earth's defenders" he said while walking toward him letting his power level and aura flare. Felaern was still mesmerized by the cityscape that had unfolded before him, and with a wave of his hand he cleared some more of the dust surrounding him so he could get a better look. There were scarce few words that the Konatsians Guardian could think of to describe what he was seeing. Their structures are so tall, so massive in scale! Is this the power of their technology? Shouldn't those structures become a barrier for the winds? Wait, perhaps that is intentional! By Konats have they tamed the winds with their technology? His mind boggling at the incredible possibilities that what Felaern was seeing were presenting to him something drew his attention away. With incredible force, for it was hard to ignore the flaring ki aura so much more powerful than anything Felaern had ever sensed before. The owner of that power was in fact within twenty meters of his position, and Felaern turned to the Earthling as he was shouted at by the man. "Hey knife ears! You got three seconds to tell me why you crashed landed here. I'm asking not only cause I'm an earthling and you wrecked my shop, but also cause I'm one of earth's defenders!"The first thing that registered was the racial slur. It was a common enough insult to throw at a Konatsian given the length and structure of their ears, even those who had visited Konats sometimes used it towards the populace in a jovial manner, but most Konatsians hated the name. The next thing to register was the threat and question combination. It made Felaern gaze around the area they were at, noting the state of the storefront, the cracked glass, and finally he looked down at his feet to see the street itself had been split slightly, his impact apparently having caused all this damage. So there was little to do besides.. Throwing his hands up into the "I'm not a threat" position Felaern turned back to the Earthling and gave his response. "My apologies."Yup. That was it. That was all Felaern had to say for himself, at least until he realized that some level of introduction might be in order to show further cooperation with a Defender of this planet. He would hope for the same courtesy from those who had done something similar back on Konats. "I am Felaern Blackmange. I come from Konats, seeking knowledge, not violence." Felaern would remain standing there facing the approaching Earthling, his arms still raised into the air. Perhaps Netto might have noticed, but all this time Felaern had not given any sort of sign of alarm. Not at his landing, not at Netto's overwhelming power, not at the situation he now found himself in. In fact he seemed to maintain a level of friendly calm, like he was fully willing to just have a chat with Netto.. [Word Count: 479] [Total Word Count: 1,295]

Netto walked up the man and grabbed his collar to look him in the eyes. After a little bit he could see that the man who called himself Fealorn wasn't lying and he let him go "sorry but what was I suppose to think, you just fallen out of the sky at such a speed you shattered a two block area and caused at least a few hundred thousand zeni's worth of damage to the whole area" he looked back at Fealorn and said "sorry for the knife ear insult I was angry. You said you were from the planet Konats? I'm sorry I've never heard of that planet." Netto then realized he hadn't introduced himself "oh I'm Netto White, Demon Hunter, Survival Expert, and one of the members of the Z-force a group of people whose soul focus is defending the planet from anything that threatens it from domestic to extraterrestrial." He then looked at his shop to see his sign wires snap and it slam onto the floor Netto sighed heavily "I just bought that sign, this store isn't even a week old yet, and this is the second time its been wrecked." Netto walked over and grabbed a piece of glass "fortunally due to the nature of my powers I can fix the glass but the sign is gonna have to re-ordered." Netto then ate the piece of glass as his powered flare he raised his hands and all the surrounding glass piece began to lift up and form back into the windows, after a few minutes the window was fully repaired. He looked at Fealorn who was understandable confused "sorry its my ability I can devour anything and gain control over it for a short time. I eat fire I can breath and control it, same goes for water, wind, earth, glass, you name it I can eat it and control it for a small time." WC: 321 total: 855 Alpha Nebula

Felaern had mixed emotions about the words that Netto spoke. At first he was glad that the man hadn't meant his earlier insult. Anger drove people to many things, and no one was really immune to it, so a slip of the tongue was expectable. However when Netto claimed that he did not know of Konats Felaern was torn. On one hand it was a good thing that someone this far away from his planet didn't know of it; the less people who knew of a thing meant the less people who might try to act against it. Yet on the other hand Felaern had pride in his people and his planet, and it stung a bit that a Defender of Earth, who his own people had known of, would not know of Konats. However in the end it didn't really matter that much, and Fel kept silent, listening to the man introduce himself as Netto, and then give a demonstration of his abilities to Felaern. That was strange, Felaern thought. Not the ability itself, that was actually a fairly convenient ability to have and many magicians often focused towards learning such a thing. No no the strange part was that Netto was telling Felaern about that ability. If their positions had been reversed Felaern certainly would not have done the same. A man suddenly appears in the sky through strange means (relative to the person in Netto's position) and falls to the ground, damaging some property, some public and some private. No, if Felaern had been in Netto's position he would have gladly arrested the man and brought them in for formal questioning. "A convenient ability." Felaern responded with a nod of his head in acknowledgement. However he certainly wasn't going to tell the man about his own abilities, for many reasons. Yet Felaern was aware of the damage he had caused, and he knew that if he did not do something to amend it it would severely hamper his ability to move freely on this planet to gain information... and if he was to lend a hand in repairing the damage he had caused that would mean showing off just a bit of his own abilities as a mage. Perhaps a small spell would suffice? The road would be the perfect subject for this. Kneeling on the spot, Fel placed a hand of his on the asphalt that made up the road he had smashed into earlier, and he moved his hand back and forth as if sensing something. For a long moment he did nothing, but then he gave a long slow exhale as he concentrated, speaking in a far more verbose fashion than before, although his voice had the tone of a teacher giving a lecture. "The earth exults at being shaped. To be shaped into something useful by those that came from it. Its spirit can be conversed with, and convinced to return to the form it was originally shaped into...as long as one supplies the energy.."Netto would be able to clearly sense an exertion of force from Felaern, a burst of energy that would only measure perhaps a thousand "powerlevel" units, and the road would change. Oh there was no dramatic lighting or magical sparks flung in all directions, but there was certainly a change as the road morphed from its aged, abused, and partially broken status into a fresh and clean looking one. As if it were the very day the road had originally been paved and placed! And this phenomenon would not be limited to the road just surrounding Felaern, but would travel down the length of the road for several blocks, regardless of the condition of the road. The whole process would last only a few moments in all, but when it was finished there was a brand new pristine road for as far as the eye could see. Well, there were a few spots that lacked a portion of the road edge, most probably due to the fact that that portion of road had been completely removed from the rest of the road and couldn't form together with it. "This should cover any expense to the city..." Felaern said without emotion as he stood straight, dusting the black dust off of his hands, looking at Netto once more to confirm his theory... Netto was impressed by the magical aptitude Felaern showed he laughed before talking "you say my powers are convenient but isn't magic in the same boat. Though my powers and their convenient came at a great cost." Netto stopped and looked at his hands and what his gloves hid away before continuing "I've had to make many sacrifices in my life and now I've finally found myself a good spot to have a good life, here follow me" he walked into his shop and a grabbed his tea pot. "This is my shop I sell a large assortment of herbs and teas for both healing and relaxation. Would you like a glass?" He asked as he filled it with water from his back sink and put it on the little stove top he had. While he was waiting for the water to boil he grabbed his world map from behind the desk and opened it "this is earth. we have 5 major cities, one in each direction and a capitol named after a great hero. West city is a temperate forest area great place for a simple life. East city, where we are now, is much more of a city scape with bustling markets to even large scale buildings used for housing. South city is a resort place with beaches and beautiful scenery. North capitol is our snow covered city near the mountains. And last but not least we have Hurcule city the city named after a great earth hero which is our biggest city." Netto heard the tea pot steaming and he stopped talking to walk over and turn off the heat. He placed two glasses and put a tea bag in each before pouring hot water into each, he then reached into his cabinet and grabbed some sugar and honey and put a little of both in his drink before letting it sit so it would cool off. Following Netto into his shop Felaern would gaze curiously at everything on display, noting the amounts of herbs on shelves and in little preservative containers spread about the shop. Some were even of a kind he recognized for their medicinal use. Quite a variety really. Netto spoke about himself and his shop, then launched into a quick description of the main cities on Earth, but before that Felaern had to stop the man from placing a teabag into the cup of hot water he had been given. "Apologies. I do not eat or drink. Do not waste your herbs." Well that was a lie, technically. Because he could technically eat, but he didn't need to, and his way of absorbing food was through osmosis rather than having a digestive tract anyway. Simply placing food in his hand would allow Fel to absorb it. Sitting back in the chair that he had been given Felaern silently pondered the man in front of him. He seemed far too trusting to be a proper defender of a planet, at least up front. Perhaps that tea that he had planned to serve Felaern contained a sleeping drug of some variety and serving Felaern tea was just a polite excuse to use this drug on him? If so Felaern naturally wouldn't hold it against the man, but for now he certainly wasn't going to just drink tea offered by the man. Instead Felaern decided to try and continue the conversation, taking advantage of Netto's willingness to speak about Earth, "Your people...they are peaceful? Your power...intimidates."

Netto took a sip of his tea raising an eyebrow to Felaern "you didn't do any research before coming here. Ya we have a lot of power and military might but its not for starting wars its for ending them. We keep a lot of power as a way to keep the peace. The Empire will attack us the moment we show weakness so we show off a lot of power to keep them fearful of us so they don't attack. The Saiyan dominion we are on neutral ground with we don't mess with them if they don't mess with us. We may seem powerful but really all we want is peace so we try are hardest to keep people from attacking us. Technically we are at war with the empire we just aren't shooting at each other at the time being." He then looked at Felaern and noticed he seemed nervous "what's wrong? you seem nervous, im not gonna hurt you. You seem legit in what you say and trust me I got quite abit of power so I'll trust you until you give me a reason to not." He then looked back at the map "since your looking for knowledge ask me anything about the world and I can tell you all you want or show you. Unless you want to go off on your own then feel free too, I'm not your babysitter" WC:236 total:1,411 Alpha Nebula
