Player Character🔹 I have nothing to say. awfulwaffle •	Post by awfulwaffle on Sept 11, 2018 14:15:46 GMT -5 Earth: a planet of no small renown, thanks in part to the legends surrounding its history… and the supposed quality of its cuisine. Rumor had it that food alone had prevented its destruction at the hands of some impossibly powerful fighter, but… Amara found that story to be suspect at best. She had traveled much of the known galaxy and sampled dishes from all manner of civilizations(often without paying), but found even the greatest among them to be simply delicious- not something worth betting the life of a whole planet on. Curiosity was what tempted the fledgling Saiyan into parking her run-down vessel in one of Earth’s many wastelands, and it was the very same sentiment that drove her to ignore her ship’s sputtering pleas for maintenance in lieu of skulking toward the nearest center of population. Fortunately, blending in would not be too hard, given that the indigenous Earthlings had a variation that looked quite similar to her own Saiyan lineage. If Amara knew how to suppress her power, she surely would have, though she doubted that her latent strength was enough to pique the interests of even a bored patrol. As she had never properly learned how to fly, Amara spent the majority of her travel time doing what might be described as “guided falling”. She leapt high from hilltop and used a rudimentary form of ki manipulation to cushion her descent, gliding her safely, and quickly, across considerable distances. Some handful of hours passed before she at last reached her chosen destination: A port city known as ‘Yahhoy’. It was a curious name, but Amara thought little of it as she worked her way deeper into the city’s confines. Using a ferris wheel as her marker, the Saiyan soon enough stumbled into an empty faire ground- one whose copious share of litter told her that it had not been active in quite some time. “This is the kind of place where I’m supposed to find… ‘cotton candy’, right?” she asked aloud, lifting her wrist to tap at a small screen strapped to it. A moment later, she returned her eyes to the empty grounds and sighed. “Food good enough to save a planet- but not a carnival. I guess that’s why it’s a legend and not, y’know, an actual tourist attraction. Alright, strike the Legend of Cotton Candy from the ledger, I gotta find -something- to eat!” Doctor Kaijin Vex

And Majin Khoshai woke up doing just what he does best...playing around, eating sweets and trying to find interesting things to do! As such, he had stumbled upon the port city of Yahhoy. Unlike the other smaller cities located within the South City archipelago, this one was not built around tourism, but rather the food and fishing industry. More or less, the industrial part of it. Processing, packaging, actual fishing, the like. As such, it wasn't necessarily the place for goodies galore, besides the few hole in the wall eateries that the fishermen and factory workers alike frequented during their lunch breaks. But, like always, Kho believed every place in the world was a playground, and all playgrounds in his mind had places to eat. Because why not, right? Majin Khoshai was never aware of Amara's arrival at the same abandoned carnival that he himself had arrived to moments after she did. He had spent the entire morning searching the city, but there were no candy shops or ice cream parlors! And worst of all, there was nothing fun to do! But this place changed everything! Kho was too innocent and oblivious to the dilapidated structures and broken down rides, and ran full speed right on in, the pink little ball of pink bubblegum like material nearly bouncing with excitement. He ran from ride to ride, looking for attendants or a ticket machine, or even a damn start button so he could activate the ride himself....but there was nothing! Majin Khoshai frowned upon realization of such a fact.....this wasn't cool! How could he....be deprived of such a fun time?! Who would do this? Searching frantically, Kho spotted the woman, a woman he had never seen before. But he wasn't looking at her. He was staring at the Cotton Candy stand that was sitting next to her. Of course, such a machine was so old and so out of use that the only thing it would stir up would be cobwebs. But, Kho didn't know this, of course. So he ran over to it, his smile bright and infectious, nearly bouncing up and down as he looked to the Cotton Candy machine "Kho upset that carnival is broken, but Cotton Candy make Kho feel better! Now.....time for candy!" Boy, was he disappointed. Majin Khoshai searched the machine up and down, trying to figure out where all the cotton candy could've gone....the kid looked about to cry. To be so excited....just to crash down so hard. It was more than the poor creature could take... Unfortunately, Kho rarely cried. His emotion was taken out in other ways Raising his head, he looked towards Amara, as if noticing her for the first time. Then, something clicked. She was standing near the cotton candy machine for quite awhile now....and there was no cotton candy....so why would she stand there for so long? Unless... "You......YOU ATE ALL THE COTTON CANDY!" awfulwaffle

Had she possessed any sort of actual combat training, she might have taken note of his arrival based on the sudden presence of another power nearby, but…. Instead, she simply swiped away her device’s warnings of something nearby, assuming that it was simply noting Earthlings passing by somewhere in the background. At that moment, she was concerned only with finding food. That is, until the pink lad opted to shout some inane accusation at her. Then, her eyes lifted away from her wrist and leveled against the Majin’s face. That species was rare enough that finding one here, of all places, was a curiosity. Moreover, he apparently thought that she was solely responsible for the disappearance of this place’s Cotton Candy. “Wait, what? I didn’t eat a damn thing! I came here lookin’ for somethin’ sweet to eat, same as you. Say… you wouldn’t be passin’ the blame off on me for your own overindulgence, would’ja? Y’know, ‘whoever smelt it, dealt it’ and all…” she replied with an increasingly suspicious expression. But, Majin Kho was one hundred percent sure he didn't eat it! How did he know? Because his stomach was growling too much, which signals he hadn't eaten recently! So, of course he didn't eat the cotton candy that may or may not have been there previously. Which meant one thing.... This woman was lying! How dare she lie? If there was one thing Khoshai didn't like, it was liars! Liars and 'meanies' were pretty up there! Come to think of it....Amara was a meanie too, for eating the cotton candy and not even offering to share! Majin Khoshai growled and he pointed at her stomach "You ate all the candy! And now my tummy is hungry! And angry! And that makes me angry!" Why he was willing to fight over something so trivial, only the Kais up above could know. But nonetheless, he was preparing himself for battle. Steam shot out of his pores like steam from a geyser, accompanied with a loud noise, very similar to the sound train whistles made as they slowed down to a stop. A small shrug rolled off of her shoulders- just what was she expected to do in this kind of situation? The two of them were seemingly after the same thing, but were convinced that the other was at fault for the distinctive absence of that mythical cotton candy. It was bothersome, but given that the boy wanted to fight… Amara supposed that she had no choice but to defend herself. Not that she was actually complaining about that part mind you, she had been itching for a proper fight for a good little while now. “Fine, kiddo. If you wanna work up a bigger appetite, I’m game! CC-” she called back and snapped both hands up before her. Amara’s command finished: “HAMMER!” And with that, a cluster of capsules ejected from her wrist-mounted computer. Several erupted into smoke and revealed nothing more than what appeared to be common trash, while one in particular filled her hands with a simple but large-and-block-headed warhammer. She snapped its head back behind herself and darted forward, thinking that initiative would serve her best. As she entered range of Khoshai, Amara jerked her hammer’s tail end upward, aimed for the boy’s jaw. Shortly thereafter, her momentum reversed and she brought the hammer’s head wide over her own, intending to slam it down atop Khoshai’s gummy skull. He hadn't expected such a show of force, but it didn't matter much. He was still gonna beat up this woman though, regardless! As she reared back her hammer, Khoshai made a move, as if ready to attack her first, but the woman proved faster Bam! Majin Khoshai cried out as the hammer slammed into his body, his head snapping back, his jaw collapsing upwards due to the raw force of impact. Ripples went through his pink bubblegum skin as he was struck. Khoshai could hardly react as Amara followed up with a brutal followthrough, slamming the hammer with crushing finality down upon Khoshai's skull. Now, the same thing happened, except in the opposite direction. The force of impact forced Khoshai's skull to collapse upon himself, ripples being sent through his head again as he was forced downwards, the child being forced to the ground, his face crashing into the Earth with amazing force. He laid there for a good moment, unmoving. Hell, it could even be inferred that he was dead, based on the force of impact. It most surely would have killed any human. But then... "Majin Kho hurt by big hammer! Majin Kho doesn't like being hurt.....so he break hammer, and break you!" Just like that, the boy bounced back up on his feet, his head bouncing back into place. Good as new, with not even a scratch on him. No indication that he had even been harmed! The boy's elastic body had managed to absorb the impact, rendering the hammer useless on the Majin....and now the Majin was ready for a counter attack. Lunging forward, Majin Khoshai appeared suddenly in front of Amara. He placed his hands together in front of himself, and opened his mouth wide, unhinging his jaw so that his mouth would open much wider than it normally would. Simultaneously, pink colored Ki would coalesce in his hands and in his mouth, until a massive sphere of Ki, crackling with pink electricity would be within his palms, and his mouth was practically filled with energy. And then, Khoshai fired both blasts simultaneously, sending a massive beam of Ki from his hands, paired with a massive Mouth Blast, intent on slamming into Amara at the same time, at close range. Player Character🔹 I have nothing to say. awfulwaffle •	Post by awfulwaffle on Sept 13, 2018 17:11:00 GMT -5 Amara cringed as she saw the way that her attacks smashed the boy’s face up and then down, collapsed in a way that would kill any lesser being. She knew of Majin’s elasticity- but not the extent of it, so when he flattened out on the ground below she lifted her hammer out of Kho’s head with a sickening squelch. The cringe was ever-persist. This was… fuckin’ gross, to say at the least. Still, some measure of compassion inspired the girl to kneel in front of him and extend a hand as if to help. Because, y’know, a hand could definitely help a smashed jaw- a smashed skull- a probably dead boy. Really, it probably wouldn’t, but it was the thought that counted- right? Not that he’d be having any more thoughts with that kind of brain damage. But… he already seemed a little damaged, so was the finality of her attack really so bad? Probably. “H-hey, kid. Get--” the hammer-wielder was not able to finish her sentence before Kho shouted out his defiance. Amara sighed a quiet breath of relief, on account of ‘murder’ not being the thing that she wanted to remember as her first activity on a new planet. Plus, there was the whole mess with it probably being illegal and all. She wasn’t given enough time to properly consider the legal ramifications of smashing around a being that looked to be some kind of child before he sprung forward and returned fire with a pair of pink-crackling ki blasts. The Saiyan had not expected him to fire a blast after being so thoroughly domed and reacted by swinging her hammer horizontally to smash a single blast out of the way- but the momentum of her swing left her wide to be smashed in the shoulder by its pair. The Saiyan’s impact was not quite so dramatic, with Kho’s ki serving to sear away a large portion of her sleeve and to char the flesh beneath- in addition to an impact that sent her sliding several meters backward, slowed only by her heels digging deep into the ground underneath. When her motions ceased, she looked from her arm to the boy and back again. “Oi! Don’t scare me like that, ya li’l freak! If you want the hammer so damn bad, I’ll let you take it!” she shouted and hefted the massive hammer back, only to spin herself around several times; Amara released the hammer’s end and let it soar, head-first, toward the Majin’s abdomen. She followed by leaping into the air after it, fist cocked back to snap out as she fell into striking range of her target. If all went well, her knuckles would smash into his face shortly after the hammer collided with him. Amara still believed that a hammer would beat him down! He would show her! He hadn't expected her to be strong enough to whack away his first blast, but the other one had done some of what it intended. This woman wasn't a regular person, but no matter He would still beat her down, and teach her never to mess with his cotton candy again! As Amara threw the giant hammer his way, Majin Khoshai raised his hand, the hammer smacking against his palm. He then immediately kicked it out of the way, sending the huge blunt force weapon flying wildly to the side, then prepared to deal with the next threat. Laughing uncontrollably, Khoshai's body stretched out, swirling in spiral patterns, causing Amara's attack to fly right through him as he dodged her in the most unorthodox manner possible Once Amara had safely passed him, Khoshai retracted back into place before launching himself forward in pursuit of Amara. As he did so, his body would suddenly light up brightly as his pink aura flared to life. The light was near blinding, enough to force one to avert their eyes. As Khoshai neared, he whipped his head forward, causing his headtail to stretch beyond his body, shooting forward to attack Amara. Once the headtail neared, it made a move to wrap around the Saiyan female's neck, tightening, almost as if strangling her. Reigning the headtail back in, Majin Khoshai would shoot forward, like a rocket, ready to meet Amara halfway. As he drew close, the Majin child charged a massive sphere of pink Ki in his hands, blue lightning crackling along the surface. Once close, he would thrust his hands forward, and release, the sphere of Ki exploding forth from his hands, intent on engulfing Amara within it's explosion range. It should have come as no surprise to her that he would behave, well, weirdly- but Majin were just peculiar enough to keep her on her toes throughout any encounter with them. To make matters worse, Kho was overtaken by enough of a luminous sheen to force Amara’s eyes closed in response. The blinded girl was not able to re-open her eyes for some time thereafter, instead feeling only the pain of her cornea and its cries for relief. Amara heard her hammer smash into some structure behind the pair of them and turned to run for it, but was caught by the sensation of a tendril curling around her neck; this brought a shiver to race down her back. Her thoughts were filled only with a cacophony of ‘Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope-- not this shit again!’. You see, this was not the Saiyan’s first encounter with tendrils grasping at her, and had long since learned to do everything in her power from their disgusting, wriggling, hold. Really fast. Khoshai momentarily thought he had her for a second, using his unnatural elasticity to his advantage, to not only surprise but to crush this Saiyan woman once and for all. However, it seemed like the woman was faster than he originally gave her credit for, her body flickering away, signalling her escape from his rather long headtail. Majin Khoshai allowed a few guttural sounding noises to escape from his mouth as he looked around frantically, trying to get a fixture on her Ki signature...and perhaps a body to attach that Ki Signature to. The good part? He got the body he was wishing for sooner rather than later. The bad part? She was heading straight for him, with the intent of hurting him with something.....something....that hurt! As Amara descended upon him, Majin Khoshai grinned wickedly before flickering out of view himself, causing Amara to descend upon empty air. Appearing several dozen feet up in the air, Khoshai let out a loud laugh before he vaulted forward, his body flashing as pink energy surrounded him in a near shell, rocketing towards Amara, looking to slam straight into her. Either upon successfully slamming into Amara or landing on the ground, Khoshai would then thrust his fist outwards, his fist not only extended well past his body, but growing near comically large in size, ten times larger than Amara's body, with an intent on smashing into her and sending her crashing back. The Saiyan wobbled in place, struggling to entirely keep her balance in the wake of her blindness. As soon as she had recovered, her head swiveled from side to side in vain search for her aggressor, not realizing until a split second later that she was only serving to make a fool of herself. Too much thinking-- her inner voice chastised her for not simply letting her instincts take the reins. Fortunate for her continued existence as a non-splattered entity, Amara heard the little Majin rocketing through the air toward her. Without a proper way to gauge the distance between the two, she opted to block rather than dodge; the girl’s arms snapped up in front of her torso crossing over one another in a ‘x’ shape. Only a moment later, she felt the impact of Kho’s energy-imbued body against her arms. It was painful and jarring, but she held her ground- even as the force of his approach pushed her back several meters. She did not anticipate his oversized follow-up, but held her ground when it smashed into her guard and continued to push her backward. When she felt as though her momentum had halted enough to move, Amara leaped up and onto the back of Kho’s hand. She dashed quickly down the length of his arm, to his shoulder, and finally wound a foot back to snap it toward the center of his face; following that attempted attack, she slid off of his arm and laced both hands together to snap them down toward the top of his head, intending to sledgehammer his skull. Despite his severe attacks the woman continued to defend, her guard near impeccable, allowing Khoshai's attacks to hit, but deal reduced damage against the woman. Yet, the Majiin child didn't realize the truth yet. He felt his attacks connect and figured that she was done for. Boy was he surprised. Khoshai's eyes widened as Amara began to scale the length of his oversized, outstretched arm, covering the distance between the two combatants in a matter of moments. Hastily, the Majin child's arm retracted in an effort to intercept the woman's blow, but it was much too late, her foot had already connected squarely with Khoshai's cheek, a sizable indent left in his cheek after such a forceful blow. He could hardly recover from the first attack before her second attack came in, slamming him into the ground with a thud, his head once again collapsing on itself under the sheer force of her attack. It was over.........syke. Unlike the last time, Khoshai didn't stay down for a dramatically long time. In fact, he rose rather quickly, his expression not angry, but actually held a deadly sort of calm, his eyes narrowed, and a frown etched on his face. A moment later, his deformed head popped back into place as his body recovered from the pressure of the blows. "Ooh! Ooh! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" With the language skills of a monkey, Khoshai began to scream, lifting his head back and shouting to the heavens, beating his chest repeatedly, as if his chest had done something horribly wrong to him. As he did so, the Majin child's aura flared with an intense pink aura, it's violent reach stretching out in all directions. Yet, there was something different about his aura. In addition to his power level dramatically increasing, sparkles of light were twinkling about his form, like tiny little stars, illuminating his aura even more. Khoshai was utilizing magic. A Majin was a mystical form, a being capable of ancient mystical arts of varying degrees, unique to their species. As such, Khoshai was capable of inherently casting spells and performing mystical feats without even noticing it. And this time....it seemed his aura was capable of absorbing Ki. If Amara wasn't careful, she would quickly find her power level beginning to drop, as well as her energy being drained from her, and in turn would notice Khoshai's power level rising, his overall destructive power increasing. He had to be stopped! Not that Khoshai would give her the time to do so. His body flickering out of sight, Khoshai appear behind Amara in a matter of moments due to their close proximity. Outstretching both of his hands towards her back, Khoshai would charge his energy into both of his hands before releasing said energy in two large, powerful beams of intense red- orange Ki, capable of engulfing Amara in it's powerful and expansive reach.
