Colt is a man driven with the desire to know the truth. He desires to know the truth of his origins, and to some day meet his demonic father so that he may drive his sword through him. Due to this, Colt is quite interested in advocating for the truth in others as well—he has confronted many a shady trader or businessman, also gotten into quite a few scrapes as he tends to be blunt and honest. His past is marred in lies and secrets, and he simply wants to bring it all to the forefront.

Before he kills his father, though, Colt wants to know more of his demonic half. He can feel the dark energy coursing through his veins, giving him a strength he would not otherwise possess. Though curious of what all he's capable of, Colt is constantly warring against himself and the dark urges that come from being demon spawn. The urge to destroy everything around him. The sooner he learns what he is, the sooner he can learn how to channel it by less destructive means.

Colt is also full of wanderlust. He has a thirst for adventure, for traveling the cosmos, and seeing all that exists in the universe. He is the sort to venture where others would steer clear—some inhabitable bog rumored to be plagued by ghosts or spirits, some backwards desert planet that might be the haven of some long lost space pirate's treasure, and things such as that. He often finds himself chasing rumors, and rumors of rumors, his desire to know what awaits at the end of a harrowing journey giving him a rush like nothing else in life.

For the most part, Colt is a calm, even-measured individual. Even with the ornery demon blood running through his veins, he is often capable of resisting the urge to create carnage and wreak havoc on those around him (most of the time). One of the ways in which he calms his nerves when he gets the itch to destroy—smoking. He is an avid smoker, seeming to boast a pair of iron lungs. Mostly cigarettes, which are like a precious commodity to him, but he can never resist a good cigar or two. He'd probably even be willing to do some unspeakable things in the name of a fresh Cuban.

Colt also has an uncanny gift for attracting trouble. Quite literally—as if his demonic heritage can be sensed by others and tends to bring out the worst in them. Maybe it's something to do with the way he looks, or walks, or dresses. Whatever the case, most strangers are suspicious of him, and Hell forbid he sit in a tavern, drinking his sorrows away without getting into a bar brawl. Perhaps it is a subtle leak of demonic aura that twists the minds and hearts of those he is around, bringing out the worst in them. No matter where he is, or what he's doing, trouble always seems to find him. He has the worst luck of it.

His amulet and his sword.

There is little to know about his past or where he came from. But the amulet was something left with him as an infant, and has remained in his possession all these years. Colt feels it is important somehow—that maybe it is the key to finding his father, and thus, the truth of his parents and where he really comes from. It holds great emotional significance, to the point that he would weep bitterly if it were ever lost. Hell forbid it's ever stolen—for the demon truly would rear its ugly head.

His sword, however, he took off of a bandit he killed a few decades before. No great emotional connection there—it's just a bad ass sword, and it certainly creates opportunity when his fists simply won't cut it. He loves it, even gives it an affectionate name—Wailing Mourn. Bloody Death. Cleaver of Chaos. Or just Henrietta.

Castor Ceyx is the progeny of a human woman and a demon from Other World.

His mother was a showgirl in Space Vegas, the sort of woman to do whatever it took to survive. Though, the night she took this dapper gentleman to bed would turn out to be the worst mistake of her life. He mauled her, nearly beyond recognition, implanting her with his demonic seed. With her good looks forever ruined and no way to continue making money, the pregnant woman returned to Earth.

She lived out the rest of her life as a beggar on the streets. Only rarely was she offered any depth of kindness, and it often came at a price. The night she gave birth was horrific. It was all she could do to keep the child from tearing its way out of her womb. She stumbled her way into a convent, where a group of nuns were able to assist with the delivery.

Almost everyone lost their lives that night.

However, it was believed the child simply needed love and strict guidance. Thus, the few that survived painstakingly taught him discipline, order, respect, and the value of life. He grew into a strong, brave young lad though often found himself troubled. Colt understood he wasn't like the other orphans at the convent, and as often isolated due to the fact that most of them seemed terrified of him.

All things came to a head the night his father appeared. Colt returned from the market where he was sent on an errand to procure groceries to find the convent cold and dark. The stench of blood lingered on the air. A dapper gentlemen greeted him, his hands and mouth coated in deep red blood. Before Colt's eyes, this stranger transformed into a mighty denizen of Hell. Claiming to be his father, it instructed him in its expectations for Colt to grow strong and enslave all others. To spread demonkind along the Earth, and force humanity to the brink of extinction.

Colt had other plans. Even at age nineteen, he was a formidable fighter.

Ultimately, he lost the fight. Left for dead, bleeding and broken amidst the rubble of the convent. He awoke the next morning with terrible pain, his body marred with nasty scars that somehow had completely healed. The convent, it seemed, had burned to ashes all around him. The only family he had ever known—though they ostracized and feared him—had been mercilessly slaughtered. Colt vowed to use the demonic blood that boiled within him to destroy his demon father one day.

Time moved forward. Colt mingled with some shady types, got mixed up in some trouble. He soon became known as a powerful enforcer, adept in martial abilities. This got him a reputation, and eventually, onto a pirate ship. This took him away from Earth and amid the stars, where he encountered many other species. Colt learned the universe is vast, cruel place, yet it boasted a beauty of its own. A beauty he wanted to explore in its entirety. Eventually, he split from the bandit group and struck out on his own, building a reputation as a treasure hunter and procurer of rare and dangerous items.

It is his current trade, though he is not adverse to hiring out his services as a bounty hunter, mercenary and bodyguard, though he isn't fond of taking lives. Always seeking, always searching, looking to find a way into Other World and get revenge against his demon father. Only by putting to death his past, can he truly write a new future.

When the only family he knew was slaughtered, Colt ventured out on his own to seek vengeance. But he also seeks the thrill of adventure, wanting to venture beyond Earth to the farthest reaches of the cosmos.
