"You know, this planet has been ravaged enough without you contributing to its further demise!", the sweet and slow voice arose from practically nowhere, and the suppressed scent of a demonic energy accompanied it. Raijin had gotten his wish, to a certain degree. Someone had been in that collective wooded expanse that he had wiped clean, and they'd been wise enough to avoid the impact as well.

"I was under the impression that it was the Kai who upheld the balance of this universe, and tried to stop the whole.... wanton destruction and devastation problem, koo, koo, koo....", he stepped forward into that man made clearing, and surveyed the damage with no small amount of glee. "You are a Core Person, at least somewhat. But you certainly aren't acting like one." 

The small was unavoidable, and he wore it like a badge. "Come on now... there's a story here... I want to hear it, little Kaioshin...." 

There was also a story as to how Kavra arrived in these woods, for sure.... but that was not nearly as important as what was currently unfolding, was it? It was quite boring compared to whatever internal struggle led to this moment here, a demon and a kaioshin in a clearing.

And it wasn't even the demon who was guilty of the raze.

Kavra is someone who is infinitely confident, someone who feels as if he can predict every moment and movement of his surroundings. All of his surroundings, and all of those who occupied them. But right now, right now he was absolutely stunned. The last thing he expected from some internally turbulent Kaoishin halfling was this terrifying and violent outburst that had cracked outward. It was a shame that Raijin hadn't heard of getting a drink, because Kavra was greatly proficient in the art of winning people over with drinks. Fortunately for the demon, he was still more thanhalf capable in his battlefield tactics. 

But in a greater display of oddity and role reversal... Kavra was not planning on fighting back. Partly because... Raijin had scared him. Kavra, at this moment, feared the unpredictable, a reflection of his own nature. Raijin was indeed being quite unpredictable. 

The two lightning bolts cracked down toward him like the violent seeking bolts they were, and Kavra was fortunate enough to have the speed to be able to... well, almost dodge one of them, the second one clipping him harshly on the shoulder after the first cracked him square on. The light of the core tree, the worlds of above the universe... it was not an energy he particularly liked. But he maintained a composure, as well as he could.

"Y-You.... don't seem to understand how this works, Kaioshin....", these weren't the rules were they? The Core People, they never struck first... ever. It was always the demons who made the instigation, the antagonizing actions. The deciding act of sin that pushed the Kaioshin to enact their punishment. But this preemptive blow... Kavra did not know what kind of person he was dealing with. And he'd taken a heavy hit from that unforeseen attack. It was almost like fighting against himself... almost.

The Hybrid reappeared, striking at Kavra with his delayed invisible blow. But Kavra's composure returned in force after his few moments were taken to adapt. He would be able to block this one. Mostly. He lashes outward with his demon claws alight, splitting into the arc... and if were any normal attack he might have fragmented it completely. But the power behind this one was too much, and it collided and traveled up his arm with a fury, only the slightest amount of it being mitigated by his attempts at deflection. 

"....Gha..ah...", was the wheezy gasp he offered up, an open mouth fanged smile giving all the half hearted gasps he could. "You... are so forceful, Kaioshin. You really want to kill me.... koo...ko...mhrrmm...", he drifts off, nurturing the insides of his cheeks. He would not return fire. He didn't know enough. If this Kaioshin represented someone... or had anyone else aligned with him.... Kavra did not want to be implicated as a violent demon who needed to be put away. He couldn't go back.

"..Ah... What is... happening...hehehh?"
