He missed his suit. The bipedal, pink koala-esque being sported seemingly casual gear that was rather unfitting - in stark contrast from his prim-and-proper suit he typically wore. It consisted of a hoodie, sweatpants, an undershirt - but the top possessed an unruly weight to it and as did the concealed weights around his ankles. Even his shoes possessed an unnatural weight to them and it showed. Getting back into the swing of things. That was what he was doing as he trudged through the wilderness of Earth. His steps were purposeful and firm, but that was mostly because of the taxing clothing he was regrettably wearing. However, Hoax did not seem to be just out in the woods walking about randomly. His eyes searched about the environment in a meaningful manner. When Hoax’s hand reached out to seize various leaves from the various plants overrunning the area, it became more clear. Herbs. He was stuffing what he collected into a pouch. The soundings of running water grew louder. Until then, he was subconsciously moving towards the beckoning sound until the relaxing white noise was only to be marvelled at. Hoax stood still and listened to the nearby waterfall, seemingly having forgotten what he was doing.

What with his return back to reality. He had restarted his martial arts training. He had to get back in shape so he could resume his duties to the Crane School and to Earth. Since his self exile he has fallen behind friends as well as enemies in therir training. He could sense this across the planet and a small glimpse of that power out there in space. As he drew his breath in , his energy flourished as it circulated throughout his body. But then suddenly he felt a sensation that spooked him alittle bit. It was someone he knew and had not seen in awhile. He did not know how he would approach this old friend of his. They had not seen eachother since he disappeared from everyone. He did not know how to ask for their forgiveness. "Sisuk Sifu Tenshinhan... i failed my friends and students and worst of all i failed you. I lost your precious clothing during my wandering all these months...." He snapped out of his depression and refocused his mental energy on the event at hand. "I'll go see him and what happens, happens... that's all one can do" He hurried more ki throughout his body and flew in the direction of this ki. It wasn't that much further deep in the woods." For a little while, Hoax felt tremors wash themselves throughout the ground he was standing on. At first, they were rather subtle and entirely dismissable. However, they grew more obvious as time passed. They never became anything earthquake-like, of course, but the presence of another was made all-too apparent with the shake and soundings of their footsteps alone. Hoax placed the last of the herbs he had just taken into the sachet and turned around. A Giras, large and draconic - he was casually walking nearer the small being with a troubling assertiveness, already chuckling in a manner all-but-too belittling, chafing. Hoax’s brows rose slightly as he made note of the Giras general disposition. “Hah, well will you look at that! That’s what I’ve been tasked to do! You sure know your plants, tiny koala man.” “Hello there,” Hoax replied, dismissing the majority of the ill-chosen words cast his way. For a moment, Hoax looked away from the Giras. He looked in the direction of an approaching power, familiar and if yet to be suppressed, titanic; but then he returned his attention to the large, draconic stranger. “Is there something I can do for you?”“As a matter a fact, there is! Give me that bag of leaves you’ve been gatherin’ up! That’s all I want!” There was no immediate response. Hoax stood there and did little but tuck his hands into his pockets. “Hm. Usually, I would just hand them over, but these clothes I’m wearing are very heavy. So, it was with a lot of effort that I collected these healing herbs.” “Your clothes are too heavy, you said?!” He asked before bursting out in a fit of rather disingenuous laughter. “Then just give up, already! You don’t think I can’t just take them from you when you can’t even handle your clothes?” “But, how would you know how taxing clothes can be?
You’re not even wearing any…”

Arriving at the source of the power he was feeling. He noticed his old friend Hoax who he had not seen in 6 months, but what drew his attention more urgently was a large creature with an overpowering demeanour. He looked like he wanted to pick a fight. "He couldn't have chosen a worst person to try pick on today... He's in for a bad time" Marku remarked to himself . He flew closer and landed on the earth near the two of them. The Crane master threw down his gear and heavy clothing and cracked his knuckles. "I could do some exercise today. How about picking on me first?" Marku smirked and readied himself into a crane style stance. His white aura flared on like a burning coal fire. The intensity was giving off strong gusts of wind out of no where. The trees in a three hundred and sixy degree angle all shook from the power being emitted by the Human's body. The Giras showed interest in the human. It reached behind his back and seemed to be pulling something out of his large bag. As it finally came out fully it was evidently a large sword, something like a bastard sword for two handed wielded. His energy seemed to feed the weapon or maybe the sword was special in terms of ki or technological means. word 227: Hoax

A growl, a grumble - that was the Giras’ response to Hoax’s quip. It bled into the arrival of Marku, to which Hoax greeted, albeit concisely. “Master Marku,” he said as the teacher cracked his knuckles. His mention of partaking in some exercise and fighting him instead of the smaller being, to the aggressor - well, he just witnessed the human fly in. He was slightly taken aback, but then a thought occurred to the brute. ‘Pft, what can something wussy like that do against something like this?!’ The thought accompanied his drawing and brandishing of a large sword. He swept it to his front in a large arc, standing at the ready as an unexplained gale swept him and the immediate surroundings over. He stood his ground still, squinted at the forefront of the conjured winds. “Fine! I’ll cut you in half first!” His lunge broke the soils apart beneath his foot as he sprung off of it. It was a decisive, heavy footfall and his forward movement was not about to be without the diagonal swinging of his large sword. Meanwhile, Hoax had yet to move. It did not seem as if he was within harm’s way just yet. He took the hood down around his shoulders, revealed his large pink ears and brought that bestial visage of his into the light of day.

"More than you can possibly imagine" The Crane Master lunged himself towards the Giras , with his hands at the ready he emitted two energy baton-like weapons. With these he was able to easily deflect or block the various sword strikes from the Giras. The Giras was taken aback by this development. It seems he wasn't familiar with humans using ki in this manner. But he did not relent in his attack upon the human. "CRIMSON TWIN STRIKES!" The Giras creature bellowed as he did various X shaped strikes towards the Crane Master who from the brunt force had to jump back and maintain his balance. The Giras did have a heavier weight behind his weapons than his own afterall. "Not bad" Marku remarked. He propelled himself towards the Giras but then disappeared out of no where. The creature's jaw dropped. He did not believe his eyes. "What sorcery is this, and from a human of all things!" The batons made a cracking noise as they slammed against the top of his head. The creature momentarily lost consciousness and fell to the ground. He quickly recovered his composure and tried to do another of his sword techniques "Spinning Fury!" Marku blocked the blade in it's path with his two barehands with ki emitted from them. He stopped the blade in its path. "You could take someone's eye out with that you now" He joked. He jumped away from the Giras as he tried to unleash a fury of sword strikes at the human. "You don't know when to quit do you?" The Crane Master remarked. Words 264 Hoax (total 710)

Why did the human he strove so hard to split in two have such fantastical powers? Even more bothersome, why was he unable to strike true with his large sword regardless of what strike he employed? Perspiration grew ever-the-more apparent as he continued his onslaught. The tail at his backside whipped to and fro with each heavy, brutish step. His eyes widened at Marku’s most recent statement. “No, yooooooou!” he replied as he stopped to kick dirt at the human. It was a fairly sudden act, but not one entirely surprising. Perhaps forecasting the inevitable when to a dirty trick was what would result in Marku’s preparation, or not, for the desperate assault. “Better get those herbs ready!” He hollered. Those words were clearly directed towards Hoax, who was still just standing there. The Giras, however, was plummeting towards Marku with his sword held high after having lept into the air. He brought it down in one big, vertical slash. Hoax was thinking about calling it a day. He had been out long enough and gathering enough materials to create useful solutions to speed recovery while training outside. He actually was not sold on the idea of giving any aid. He felt the being did not warrant anything more than physical blows; at least not yet.

Marku had been behaving on the side of caution with this Giras. He wasn't as strong as Marku but he was a dirty fighter. The slashes from his sword were knocking down trees left and right of him. This was somewhat tragic for this beautiful part of the forest and he did not want his furry friend get himself involved in this fight. "It's time i wrap this up before there's nothing left of this gorgeous forest" Marku channelled the ki into his left arm as he counter stiked the Giras blade - snapping the blade in half. The Giras was visibly stunned and feeling vulnerable in that moment. "What! - impossible! this was the finest blade made by our village!" before Giras could turn his attention back to the human he was stuck in the stomach with an elbow with the full force of his body behind it. The creature's face looked as if he was gasping for air, he fell to his knees and held his stomach after the blow. Marku returned to a regular posture and held the Giran by the neck softly, as to allow him to recover his breathing. “Yes. Come to think of it, he is doing quite a number on the surrounding area.” Hoax’s words were cast towards himself mostly, being but a low utterance led by an eye only upon the carnage being wrought. “That’s in poor taste." It did disturb him that a few leaves could have resulted in the preservation of the immediate area, but he still did not agree with the aggressor attempting to strong-arm them away from him. “All of this over some herbs.” Hoax shook his head back and forth as Marku broke the large sword’s blade. A metallic snap crackle throughout the area. A dull thump ensued as the fractured husk fell to the waiting soils below. The Giras was surprised at the strike dealing such damage to a weapon of such durability - at least by his standards. He audibly unveiled his surprise, asking ‘what?!’ out into the open air with none willing to supply an answer. An elbow to the lower portion of his midsection brought him to his knees. “W-who sent me?” he panted in response to Marku. Hoax grew closer out of curiosity. “It was just my turn to gather herbs in the village! This is a prime area to do that and the pink one had already done it for me.” He released a few pained chortles. “Maybe they’ll come lookin’ for me. I’ve been gone awhile, you know…” Hoax head fell upon a subtle tilt as he considered the individual’s words. “Hm. I wonder if that’s a bluff.” Hoax only received an encore of low, quiet, disingenuous laughter.

Marku noted Hoax's comments and gave him a nod in response. He released the Giras from his clutch as he could hear the laughter emanating from the woods. The shadowy shape of these people laughing could barely be made out in the woods. Those that emerged were more of this bastard's race and they were armed to the teeth. "I guess diplomacy is out of the question... and these poor woods have suffered enough from this fight". Marku did a chop with his hand to the Giras's neck, knocking him unconscious. He readied into his stance and looked over to Hoax with a somewhat sighing expression "Do you mind stepping in for his one?" Marku lunged at the closest Giran and kicked him in the groin followed by a backflip to the chin. The Giran B propelled his Mace-like weapon at Marku who was about to block it in mind, the weapon managed to scratch his arm slightly. It seemed to be enhanced with magic or ki. The Giran C was armed with axe which he proceeded to throw them towards Marku who was able to dodge them at the last second. As he threw about 3 or 5 of them he would flank Marku to pick up the axes he had thrown previosuly so he could keep up the pressure on the Crane Master 225 Words Hoax

An inquisitive, “hm,” escaped Hoax as he noted the gradual appearance of more large, imposing figures. “I guess it really wasn’t a bluff, after all.” This meant that it was the opportune time to discard some of that heavy clothing. So, his top came off with a heavy thump as he let it plummet to the ground. Weights were next. He was asked to step in at that point and Hoax was left with just a pair of pants on. A visual display of the results of his training ensued as he idled there in an unnerving presentation of ostensibly unending composure. Marku began a brilliant assault against a multitude of Giras. However, it appeared all eyes were on Marku. One attempted to grab an axe before running towards Marku with it, aiming to land a devastating attack. The Giras back was to Hoax and with an annoyed, “tsk…” the Giras lit up with an orange light. “Dodonpa!” The technique’s name was hollered with a certain degree of ire. The smell of cooking flesh took to the air as a beam of fervid orange plowed into its back, pulsed with power as it tore forth from a single extended index finger. It carried him with its inherent force and left him smouldering on the ground. Wispy white exploded all around the pink being before in a smear of motion, one Giras found the alien’s knee embedding itself into his face. “I’m here too, you know…”

The Crane Master looked over to his little furry friend and gave him a nod with a smile. The Giras closet to him noticed this "Not the best time to be distracted human" as Giras B brought down his Mace on Marku. He was able to deflect a partial amount of the force from the mace weapon by shielding his right arm at the last minute with his energy. But this forced him to kneel with his left leg to help absorb the block. "I think i'll be alright" Marku smirked as he formed a half triangle with his hand aimed at the Giras B's legs "50% KIKOHO!" he announced as he fired the beam at the Giran's legs, the beams ripped past his legs cooking them a fair bit. The monster cried in pain as he fell backwards, dropping his Mace. The Human Warrior collected the mace and swung it at the Giras C who was armed with an axe. The clash of the weapons rippled through the air like a shockwave. He appeared to be stronger than his younger comrade in arms. "You'll pay for cooking his legs you socrerer!" Marku removed 1 hand from the mace and aimed his finger at the Giran. "DODONPA!" and fired it striaght through his weapon with relative ease. He then got back up from the ground and channeld his ki into his hands as he delivered a double punch to the Giran's chest, sending him propelling through the air and knocking down 3 threes in the process word 256 Hoax

They sported tough hides. The knee he plunged into its snout did not find as much of a purpose as he had hoped. Instead of allowing surprise to consume him, he simply dropped to the ground and readied himself for a counter attack. It began with a smirk and a chortle, spoiling any means of overwhelming Hoax with speed with the small sliver of an opening Hoax had provided. Hoax quirked a brow in response, just when the Giras turned upon a sharp pivot, whipping its tail towards him. It was a rather intelligent strike. The short creature was far more vulnerable to attacks fashioned to sweep across the ground, but an acute eye and respectable reflexes, coupled with martial arts training, meant that leaping above it was no difficult feat. The power of the beam attack he expelled prior would simply be directed into simple physical blows instead. Hoax landed without a counter attack and waited until the Giras faced him again. The beginning of its laughter immediately found interruption. Hoax’s plunged his fist into its stomach. A quiver traversed the ground they stood upon as a result. Hoax’s gaze was cold, but his lips could not help but curl into a subtle simper. The prowess over his inner energies that his race is so often born with allowed simple blows of his to harbour much greater force than onlookers would expect from something so short. His attacker lurched forward and fell to the ground as he coughed and attempted to catch lost breath. Those left either were attacking Marku or made their way towards Hoax. While the pink alien stood firm and unmoving, thin lines of thread, tempered fur produced via biokinetic abilities and maneuvered through telekinetic influence, streaked from his exposed, furry body. Nigh invisible to the naked eye, they lashed ostensibly randomly about until the threads were pulled tight, tethered seemingly to the air itself. The Giras became sprawled out in the air, limbs pulled tight by Hoax’s strange binding attack.

"I forgot you had powers like that - Nice!" Marku was ecstatic to see his old friend in the prime of his health and abilities having not seen him in half a year. The two Girans nearest the White Crane Master were fuming with rage to the point their white aura's were oozing from their bodies , evaporating-like flow as it left their bodies into the air. Their powers were increasing with their rage. The energy radiating from their bodies appeared to even influence their weapons which changed colour and had a black glow around them. "I've never seen Giran this strong before. I don't think it is by chance there is more than one Giran with this amount of power. They've been influenced or recieving training from an external source. Your herbs seem to be their focus of attention my friend" The two Girans lunged at Marku with all their speed and might behind their weapons. Marku would take no chances so he raised 3 shields in front of him. They easily smashed the first two while the 3rd begun to crack. "Well shit... this is not looking good" Marku channeled further ki into his final shield extending its size and depth. It seemed to repair the damage and seems to be repelling them for the moment. Both following and during Marku’s compliment, the soundings of grunts and struggling ensued as little more than mere background noise. Surely they could escape assuming they were willing to expend the necessary strength and energy to do so. Hoax chuckled, which bled into his reply. “Yet I’m still leagues behind you.” As he was looking over to Marku, Hoax was easily able to notice the auras and weapons of the Giras closest to him. He himself was not expert on the species. It was an earthen one and was relatively new to him more than not. “These giant creatures aren’t normally this strong? I suppose appearances are often misleading…” The two were not content with remaining still and charged Marku. With the evoking of a multitude of shields, it kept them at bay as they pressed their weapons against the final one that remained still standing. His asking for Hoax’s help brought him to call forth a light that encompassed both of theri forms. It was another shield-like fortification, one that was tightly-knit against both of their bodies. “They aren’t that important to me. Besides,” Hoax started as he fetched the bag of herbs. While he threw the bag of herbs one way, towards the angry pair, he tossed a Senzu Bean Marku’s way. “We have something better.” Afterwards, Hoax’s pinky, ring, and middle finger curled inwards until they were tucked into the flesh of his palm. His index finger extended and his thumb curled around the rest, ever-still taking fleshy refuge. It was obvious what he was doing, but this technique did not have a charging period. The fact that this time, there was, meant Hoax was serious at enveloping them in the whole of his assail this time. They were occupied, ignored the bag he threw; so, he pointed his finger strategically at them and their large frames. They lined up perfectly with Hoax being at their sides. “Omoikkiri Dodonpa!” Orange light burst from the finger, quivered in size as it pulsated. It swept them over with surprising speed and persisted. The blast did not recede. Hoax’s eyes narrowed with an intense frigidity before he swept the beam overtop the other two he had snared in his threads prior. The projection of heated energy tapered to a thin line before evanescing. That seemed to be enough. There was a seared flesh clinging to the air. They were unable to hold in their pained cries and the escaped both during and following their plasma baptism. They did not last too long. The damage they had sustained coupled with the recent Hoax provided, the pain of such an assault - it was enough to render the lot of them unconcious. Hoax waited a moment as small lines of smoke rose from them, claimed by the air overhead. He brought his hand down, relaxing it as he gathered lost breath. Hoax looked around the area. From what he could discern, there were no other Giras besides the ones both Marku and he rendered unconscious. “I think that did it,” Hoax stated as he elevated his arms. Wire, forged from his fur and moved with his mind, fortified by his ki - it appeared to unravel from him in large swirls. The lines snaked away from him and curled around all of the fallen Giras. They wrapped around their ankles and arms, trying them around their waists right after the threads drew fast. Their ends were tied together. “I’m not set on what’s done with them, but at the very least, I’ll leave them bound like so. I feel they should be inconvenienced and those threads should prove quite inconveniencing.” He paused. “Although really, I’m not sure what to do with them. Maybe you could take it from here? Afterwards, we should really catch up.” At this point, as he spoke, he was putting back on what he had taken off prior. The hood of the sweater fell around his shoulders as he pushed it from the top of his head. Walking over to where he threw the bag of herbs, he picked it back up. “These are just regular healing herbs, right..?” he asked to himself in a self-directed utterance.
