[Balance]
It is Aubus' great desire to bring about perfect balance to all of existence. In his eyes, good and evil are subjective—all things are permissive depending upon a circumstance. This belief shapes his thoughts and actions.

[Ambition]
Aubus is ambitious, though not for motivations of wealth and power. He doesn't need wealth, and should he desire power, it is but a stone's throw away as he has centuries to grow and develop as a fighter. His ambition lies solely in achieving his personal goal of 'Perfect Balance'.

One major weakness is that Aubus sees himself as almost above this dangerous viewpoint, thinking him the ultimate patron of neutrality. Even should he achieve his goal, considering the good or evil actions taken to achieve it, where would that leave him? It isn't something he considers in the slightest, and it's often difficult for him to understand the negative impacts of his choices.

[Supreme Kai]
As a being born of the golden fruit of the Kaiju, Aubus believes he is some day destined to become a Supreme Kai. Though, instead of apprenticing under the current Supreme Kai, he has chosen to take his own path in achieving that goal—he takes it upon himself to 'police' the universe, and in hearing of his great exploits, the Kais will have little recourse but to instate him as Supreme Kai.

[Height]
Aubus does not enjoy the fact that he is so small. One must be strong and fair to bring Perfect Balance to the universe. And though he is fair (in his own eyes), it is difficult for him to be perceived as strong due to how small he is. Thus, he was always teased by other Kais of his generation and is hardly ever viewed as a threat. Mention his height, and he will lose his temper quickly, in contrast to the cool facade of indifference he most often wears.

[Earthling Coffee Addict]
Aubus is always willing to find an excuse to make a personal excursion to Earth for the delectable delicacy known as 'coffee'. Black, with two sugars. He could scour the four quadrants of the universe and never find a single morsel or drink to rival its exquisite tastes.

It also makes him hyper, which leads to the telling of a lot of humorless jokes.

[Majin/Demons]
He has observed them for many decades and come to the conclusion that nothing good can come of either species. Though demons are close in kin to himself, Aubus considers them less than sentient beings and more a mistaken course of nature. This includes Majin, and though none have since rivaled the death and destruction of the tales of Majin Buu he's heard growing up, Aubus doesn't believe a Perfectly Balanced universe can exist while these monsters are allowed to roam freely.

It is his duty to subjugate—and if necessary, eradicate—them all.

Born on World Core of the Golden Fruit of the Kaiju Tree, Aubus was destined for greatness. Even in his youth he showed a keen understanding of the universe around him, and the motives of the mortals that inhabited it. Though, even in young age, young Aubus did not understand the purpose of demons or Gods of Destruction. They were counterpoints to the Shinjin, for sure, but why couldn't the Kais govern both aspects of good and evil without them? Was it evil if one's actions were in pursuit of achieving better results and improving the life of mortals?

Thus, he constantly questioned and debated his teachers on such philosophies, often finding himself being scolded for such dangerous thinking. For those who remembered the atrocities committed by Zamasu and Goku Black, this seed of thinking could ultimately corrupt.

Over time, however, it was clear that Aubus had no intentions of following in Zamasu's footsteps and conquering all of the universes.

Instead, Aubus wanted to take a much more active role in the shaping of the futures of mortal kind. Much evil ran rampant throughout the universe, and it was after a century of careful observation that Aubus made the decision enough was enough. Who could bring peace to the universe better than the Kai? Who understood the beauty and important of life and creation on a more intimate scale? Evil needed to be curtailed, and though many good and powerful mortals sought this, Aubus felt they lacked the wisdom of his years and understanding to apply it.

Mortals could simply stem the tide. They could never restore Perfect Balance. And so, Aubus left his home world and duties temporarily, against the will of his teachers, in order to at least attempt to bring balance in his own way. Should he fail, he would return to his world and his duties and never interfere in the natural destinies of mortals ever again.

Unable to watch good mortals struggle to stem the tide of evil that is taking over the universe, Aubus spent fifty three years training and honing his martial prowess and becoming an adept ki user for the purpose of shaping the events of the mortal world by his own hand, if necessary.
