Raijin watched the android rescue an innocent bystander, surprised. He was selfless. Not a trait Rai wanted to have. A moment later, the droid approached him, unleashing a flurry of jabs. Bobbing and weaving like a boxer, Rai dodged all of them. Finally, the mechanized warrior charged in with a flying knee- Rai blocked it and leapt back, avoiding the superman punch. "That could've hurt...!" the knife-ear commented, electricity gathering around his fists. Time to get up close and personal, return the favor. Phasing from view, he appeared to the left of his opponent, aiming a devastating right straight at the side of his face. Whether or not it landed, he would proceed to bring his left hand around into a hook, hoping to bury it in his foe's gut. The classic 1, 2 combination! Raijin was having the time of his life, despite all the bruises and broken bones. This was a great match-up, even better than he had anticipated. Rai made sure after the combo was over that he backed off, still crackling with a tremendous amount of magically generated plasma. The end of this bout inched closer and closer, but the longer it went on the worse for wear the small side street looked. The clouds above the pair had begun to part as most of Rai's magic had been depleted. He was becoming more and more reliant on his ki, an energy he was less familiar with. BATTLE TRACKER

V steadied himself in his stance as he spoke. Still analyzing, trying to figure out what or how his opponent was doing to revitalize himself. Was he immortal? The string of punches came as a surprise as well. Almost as if he had been learning from him. V struggled to suppress a smile which hid beneath his sunglasses. "you know, you ain't bad little one. But you're out of tricks I think. Besides ain't you getting tired? I can do this all day" He raised his arms again and shuffled towards his opponent. He faked a lunge and then leaped into the air and ignited his thrusters to appear behind his opponent from there he would piece together a series of blows, attempting to work his way up his opponents body ending the combination with a vicious spinning heel kick to his opponents side. As he attacked he could feel the energy of his opponent still lingering as it attempted to overheat his body. He closed his eyes, commanding the nanobites to regulate his temperature and keep him in the fight. He did not like that he had caused so much damage to the area but that is way he resorted to the simpler tactics of his hands and feet W.C 208/ Post #11 BATTLE TRACKER 8dmg from atks. "Tired? Not at all." Raijin responded, smirking with a greacherous grin. His energy reserves had yet to be depleted. He focused his energy so he would be able to dodge the rapid flurry of blows, using the technique he had been practicing earlier. This was all in good fun. Earlier, he had been frustrated. Raijin felt as though he had blown off some steam through fighting. Not to mention he had learned something. The android spun and grazed Rai with a devastating spinning kick, the hybrid tumbling back. "Not bad, not bad at all!" The halfling cackled, tossing a bolt of energy as he spun backwards, hoping to catch his enemy off guard. Springing forward with surprising tenacity he prepared a shocking slash and unleashed it as he reached a close proximity to the android. The plasma arced outward, searing the street and burning the concrete. It ripped up the brick of housing and destroyed shingles, much being obliterated in the wake of the massive blast. It was an impressive display. It had cost him some of his stamina. The other fighter was right. He could potentially do this all day. The halfling grimaced at the notion of this fight taking too long. The electric current shimmering around him burned more intensely as he focused himself for what was to come. BATTLE TRACKER

V had no intentions of having this fight last any longer then it needed to. As Raijin leaped backwards he reached out to grasp his collar. He would then pull him close to him and with one arm raise him into the air and slam him into the ground with all his might, the result of which would shatter the ground beneath then, cracking the pavement and sending minor seismic tremors throughout the area. Next V would begin to bash into his chest and ribs, pressing his free hand into his abdomen, holding him in place. "Why you gotta be like that man? You realize you could mean so much to alot of people right?!" He would yell out. "You've got like, so much to offer the world. You're so talented and you're skilled. You ain't gotta be with these nobodies here hurting people for nothing"! It had been a long time since V remembered getting so angry he didnt like it. Not at all. His rage began to build and boil. A new found strength began to eminate from his body. His eyes began to glow white and hot as the air around them became super heated now. Taking a deep breath he sucked in some if the lightning and it reinvigorated his limbs. Pulsating with new found power now he looks into his opponents eyes as he began to remove his sunglasses. When the youth grabbed Rai by his robes to pull him close, Rai allowed a quick flash of lightning to burn through his robes, disconnecting him from the youth. This let him avoid his first attack, Rai keeping his guard up. The boy began to take in some of the latent energy, as he was clearly preparing a devastating attack. Raijin knew he couldn't afford to take one of his supercharged blasts. When the boy removed his glasses, blinding beams of energy ignited the air between the duo. Raijin dissipated from view, zanzokening out of the path of the beams. Some of them struck, damaging him. The hybrid was exhausting himself playing so defensively, but not quite as bad as the youthful android was. This guy was shooting off massive techniques this late in the game. He must be getting desperate. The magician raised his right hand, a bolt of lightning striking it. He held the bolt, eyeing his opponent. A moment later he threw the crackling bolt of plasma at his foe, hoping he'd get lucky and put a dent in the boy. "You know, I'm not hurting anyone for nothing. I'm hurting them for me! It's called material gain! You should try it!" Rai laughed out, shaking his head at the boy. BATTLE TRACKER

"You're hurting other because you want stuff? But what good is all that stuff if you're dead?! There no point in what you're doing. People would be willing to give you stuff for free, even for fighting! You can have all the stuff you want and fight as much as you'd like but all you're doing is being selfish. You are hurting people for nothing! And look at what you're getting right now, an ass whooping, and last time I check..." V took a pause before he spoke his next words. Jumping into a crouched stance he burrowed his hands into the ground and scooped up a large piece of earth, rocketing it towards his opponent he followed the stone with a large bolt of ki behind it, Reallocating his energy to his thrusters he careened into the air, anticipating his opponents phasing technique, stopping abruptly to change directions, bursting the sound barrier as he did so. There was no doubt about it V was mad. His opponent would not stop and there was no talking to him, he would attempt to incapacitate him for the better meant of all and then turn him in to galactic patrol, make an example of him. As he rocketed towards his foe he tried stopping right in front of him, hoping that the sound wave would distract him enough to provide him with an opening he would take advantage of, a ball of ki formed within his hand as he unleashed his next attack. Rai listened to his opponents lecture, considering his words. He wasn't wrong. But he was simple. Raijin didn't like that. So, when his enemies hurled a boulder at him he didn't simply dodge it.. Rai's electrical aura flared up for a brief instant, slicing the rock in two. In that moment Rai saw the ki blast arcing towards him and quickly sidestepped it, feeling it nearly singe him as it passed. In that moment he was open. A ball of ki struck the off guard halfling magi, knocking him backwards. It burned when it hit, but Rai quickly dispersed the energy, grunting in pain. If that had been a stronger attack, he could've been beaten. Infuriated, Rai held his hand out, it beginning to shimmer with electricity once again. A sharpened blade of pure energy pulsated, extending out from his wrist. Rai had been working on this move and had yet to perfect it. The hybrid slashed at his foe with a vicious series of blows, aiming to cut his foes arms and legs. A fierce look had overtaken the hybrid. He was looking towards his next opponent already, imagining the power he would have to gain to make warriors at this level nothing. The first time his opponent materialized a blade of pure energy it went straight into V's face. The blade struck him like a gale force wind, almost tossing him backwards but instead he dug his heels into the ground and and stood his ground. The blade pierced his face and dug an inch into his skin, igniting his cheeks from within, but there was nothing there. The blow did nothing to him as he eyed his opponent who then leaped away and began his flurry of blows. As he enemy jumped into the air to come down for his final slash V stood there, an unyielding sentinel against all of the blows which had glanced off of his arms and legs like a soft breeze against a bastion of steel. He caught his opponents blade this time in between his hands and began to siphon energy from the blade and into his body. From here he ignited the blade with his own ki, infusing the energies together into an unstable mass of raw electrical power, a raging storm of energy enveloped them now, tearing apart the ground at their feet. Synchronizing his energy signature with that of the storm he manage to become the storm, it would do him no damage. He then snapped his opponents blade and attempted to stab it into his rib cage. Raijin was surprised when the android caught his blade. The surprise caught the halfling at a bad moment- the mechanized fighter siphoned Raijin's energy and turned it on him, seemingly becoming a swirling mass of power. It devastated him, sending him flying back. He regained himself at the last moment as the youth attempted to stab him in his rib-cage, Rai barely managing to avoid it. That last attack left him reeling. His head pounded and his heart had begun racing. Adrenaline pumped within him, and he instinctively began powering up. They were both heavily injured. Raijin wanted to win. Plasma burned around him and the energy blade his opponent had siphoned began to burn even more intensely. It pulsed, growing and growing. He raised it above his head, his chest rising and falling rapidly. Rai could hardly breathe. How many ribs had this machine broken? The knife-eared magician clenched his fist together, regathering all of the energy he had poured into the blade. It hissed in the palm of his hand and his entire body began to spark, Raijin gritting his teeth in discomfort. A few raindrops scattered here and there, but he didn't have enough magic to heavily effect the weather. Just enough to dispose of this oaf. He unleashed his most intense shocking slash to date, the air sizzling and burning at the intensity of the plasma. According to V's sensors and to his knowledge the area was cleared of most inhabitants. A few pirates had tried to get the jump on them but the chaos of the battle moslty dealt with them one way or the other, he felt bad about them but there was nothing he could do. A wave of energy coursed through Raijin now. V could feel the power now, this was it. This was the end. One big shot from both of them would determine the victor. Raijin had been crafty and tricky but he was out of tricks now. He was pouring all of his energy into these last attacks, seemingly hoping for a knock out V could do. Because he had been doing the same thing. He Could dogde the attack and brace himself from the aftermath of its shock wave but he could sense the force behind this one as it came at him. He would be stunned no matter what, there was no avoided it. So he decided to do what his opponent might not have expected. He rushed the blast, head on. Taking the full front of its force and plowing through the fields of energy until he eventually made it within point-blank range, like an ominous metal monster breaking the surface of water to inhale its prey, he emerged from the blast in front of his opponent and delivered two rapid uppercuts into the body, knowing that this would cause him to lose his breath and some of his energy. The surprise attack would hopefully also allow him to clasp his opponent's hands together, unsure of what the repercussions would be given Raijins attack. Lifting him off the ground he would follow up with another two swift punches into his diaphragm and then opening his hand wide and in front of his opponent's body, he would unleash a rapid-fire succession of the blast into him. It would take all of V's energy and strength to wade through the blast, the pain searing every inch of him as he slammed into it. W.C- 345/ Post #15 BATTLE TRACKER .

When the android grabbed Rai's arm, energy began to overload the magician. The makeshift technique backfired and injured his arm, almost knocking him off balance. Still, the technique had been a success. The android was almost down for the count. This had been a great learning experience. His foe had been hard to read. The hybrid phased from view, narrowly avoiding a point blank shot. That one would've finished the fight. Rai felt fortunate for his foresight. Smiling wholeheartedly this time, lightning began to burst and simmer around the youth. He wanted to laugh for a moment but chose not to. It wasn't a guaranteed win, but... he liked the odds. The bet was on. He felt like it was in his favor. Raijin held his hand up, rekindling the sparking sword. Examining his foe, he admired the injuries he had inflicted. Amidst his own contusions he had managed to pummel on his foe with little reserve. This had been an incredible experience for him, and had been instrumental in his training. The halfling had learned much. Especially not to disregard a half-beaten foe. Hurrying towards the blonde youth, Rai plunged his artifically generated sword forward, aiming for the midsection. Side stepping the blade at the last second V placed his leg behind Raijins body and in an instant he went to grasp him by the collar and toss his opponents body onto the ground, using his leg placement to off balance his opponent and viciously slam him into the ground he would then extend his free arms and unleash one big ki blast directly into his chest. The Droid was badly damaged and his energy from earlier had faded away. He was not looking good and he still could not figure out how his opponent was regenerating himself. Most people might choose to run at this point as he opponent was relentless and savage but not V. V wanted to make sure this Villain saw the error of his ways. Even if V died to prove it he wanted Raijin to think about this day for years to come. Some people are willing to fight for more then themselves. Some people value others more than any materials one could gain and he wanted him to hurt. Perhaps then he would see, when his pirate friends likely betrayed him and left him to do, maybe robbed him. Rai wrestled with his opponent, avoiding being slammed to the ground with much force. However, in this state he was unable to properly defend himself. The android fired an orb of ki into his chest that struck center-mass, burning whatever was left of Raijin's robe on his upper body. The youth cried out in pain as he felf his skin flash cook from the cauterizing heat. It smelled disgusting. Roaring in frustration, an incredible amount of lightning began to swirl around him, licking and leaping at his enemy. Initially, it would create a minor shock, hopefully injuring his foe enough to knock him out of the game. If that wasn't enough? The churning storm of plasma grew even more intense before he began to shape the energy, struggling to his feet. It burned in his right hand, and the hybrid looked at the youthful android and cackled, eyes blazing with madness. A moment later he extended his hand, aiming his palm at the boy. A giant burst of lightning arced out, threatening to consume the kid. Rai was running on fumes. This was about it for him. "Let this one end it! I dont't wanna have to hurt you more than necessary!" V was confused at the mans sudden "Change of heart" He didn't want to hurt him anymore? Perhaps something V said had changed his mind? He could not have been sure. He quickly shuffled his feet to into his stance and prepared his next attack, a left hook would soon be solidly placed within a mere moment.
Rajins blast however was much more powerful then what he could have anticipated, it forced him to loose his attack early, slamming his dense fist into the blast, the two struggled for a moment as he plunged his fist into the beam of plasma and energy, neither man giving any ground to the other. V soon realized his predicament, his energy reserved now completely depleted, he had only the strength to resist but nothing more, and he had committed to his attack, placing himself in a position where it was impossible to dodge now. It was over now. He had lost and he knew that, it was only a matter of time, but if he did die here or fail he did not want it to go to waste, he did not want the universe to lose a hero for a villain.
"You may have beaten me" He groaned as he struggled against the blast, not giving any ground.
"But you have gained nothing, your crew is mostly gone, I am sorry about that. And when someone else like you comes along they'll betray you for your stuff. You will not be remembered, most pirates aren't. The stuff you steal will be taken from you"
He continued to struggle as beams of energy shot in every direction, his body acting as a clot in a water house, causing the liquid to spray in every other direction.
"Aggghh, You can still make a choice. A choice to change and do good. Make a friend, start a fulfilling life, today."
As he spoke he extended his hand across the stream of energy, parting the flow of plasma which now peeled away at his skin and silicon flesh. His arm laid in front of his opponent now bare and raw he extended it there to shake his hand and he surrendered himself to the wave of energy, ripping his arms from his body as he body shot outwards and back into space, landing on the nearest small moon.
V laid there now back flat against the earth and eyes to the deep black see. Everything started to fade to black as he considered, how he felt about his current defeat.

Rai listened to the android's long-winded speech about redemption, sighing as he waited for his foe to fade to unconsciousness. He sat there, eyeing the injured machine. He was made of silicon? That explained why he was so durable. This had been a tough one. Holding his ribs, he coughed up a crimson fluid mixed with phlegm. The youth, steadied his breathing, turning. Hoping the kid would hear, he scribbled his name on a small piece of paper with a pen and pad he materialized.
The boy wrote his name down, tossing the crumpled piece of paper on his foes body. Before he lost consciousness, Raijin spoke:
"Come find me when you want to try this again. Ill break you twice as hard." he stated, coldly. The halfling was frustrated, breathing heavily. Rai turned away from the kid, making his way down the destroyed street, lighting up an oddly rolled cigarette. Taking a few deep drags he made his way down the street, beginning his daily routine of intoxication. To assist in that department, he withdrew his flask and began to take a couple healthy gulps from it. It was whiskey from earth, and it burned as it went down his throat.
Rai could feel the alcohol numbing his injuries and couldn't help but be impressed by the android. The kid had done a decent job, even if he was cheesy.

V3 awoke some month later. The nanites in his blood stream still hard at work repairing him by now he had his limbs back and no memory of what had happened. Though his limbs were still raw and frail he managed to get on to his feet. His body still ached as he drifted on some small asteroid. Looking up into the endless black inky sea he watched as a star shot across the sky. He limped around for a few feat until and stopped to find a piece of paper with a name on it? "Raijin? Sounds funny." He tried to account for all the time he missed. Something bad must have happened but he looked around and saw nothing and no one. He sat down for the rest of day... by which I mean 24 hours. Waiting and watching as his body slowly healed itself. He was in no hurry. Time was on his side. and he knew that what he had to do could wait.
