Planet: Cooler #98 (Brench) Time: 22:56:34 Location: 78.65, 54.65, 34.29 The Megalomania had come in to a low orbit over the planet, ships that would ferry trade goods, staff, and soldiers to and from the surface coming and going. Brench with the liquidation of the Frieza Force was all too ripe for the plucking, the entire Galaxy knew this quadrant was going to be in a dire state if some force didn't come in and stabilize and unify the region. If that didn't happen soon, civil war between planets was likely to break out. Cam's own homeworld was living proof of that, Ikonda and Kabocha constantly at each other's throats though not for much longer if he could bolster his ranks. Though that was not why Cam had arrived today. He would let the vultures who would waste the time battling with money and subterfuge for the planet battle it out. Once a clear leader was nestled in for the planet he would deal with them. Be it a friendly dealing or a dealing where he decided to install his own Empire. No, he knew how to take over and not spill a drop of blood: He would offer a his forces to the highest bidder and they would secure the planet's influence peaceful and quite willingly, any business the Crusher Corp could supply to the Quadrant would seen be welcomed, but it was better to negotiate slowly. Cam was here today to find one of the last Leviathans that he had known about. The grapevine sooner or later reported a Namekian who had been taking on warriors in a little out of the way nook on the desert planet of Brench. From there it was merely turning on his scouter and following the power levels where they clashed. That was how the Emperor of Kabocha wound up in a dingy place that didn't suit him at all. It was only a matter of time until those inside heard the sound of pulse engines that ran the desert speeders Cam and his soldiers would roll in one. Their were five of them in total, Cam, Duria, Talfa, Hureo, and Deon. All wore battle armor and scouters and all wore tan accented cloaks and wraps or masks over their faces. Entering the bar eyes fell to them instantly. They didn't look so tough. A few thugs might have thought that if Cam's power level wasn't on full display, making his presence quite aware to those with a scouter or who could sense such things. Meanwhile in the arena set up in this dive of an establishment, two Xenos--A brench warrior and a Meatian fought it out for supremacy, "Where's the Namekian?" Cam asked to the bar. There was a shift and scuffle of chairs as all parties would look to Lute, or at least those who knew of his presence or had seen him fight. The Last Leviathan, as far as Cam knew anyway.

BRIE'S PIT, Brench.Lute watched the brawl between the Brenchian and the Meatian. It was more or less a slug-fest. Neither of them had a good stance or enough ki to make any sort of entertainment. Blood sport. Fist colliding with flesh. Grunting, shuffling, grappling--it went on and on. Lute wanted to incinerate them with a blast of ki, but he chose not to. He was here to meet with an old friend, Koska. The ancent arms dealer was late, as per usual. It would probably be another hour or so before he arrived anyway. The Demon Clansmen needed ships. He needed men. Because, Lute was preparing for war. As strong as he was, even he wasn't foolish enough to try and conquer a hidden city full of space wizards by himself. The Namekian took a long swig of his honey-wine. It's pungent at first, but a sweet flavor danced across his tongue as the aftertaste. He didn't drink often, but today was an exception. "Where's the Namekian?" The voice was familiar. The ki--that was also familiar. Almost all the faces in Brie's Pit were staring at him. Ugly and foul faces, a bunch of no-goods and outlaws. Cam eh? You seem weak. Those were the first words that Lute had ever said to his fellow Leviathan. He hadn't seen or heard from Cam in almost three years. Well, mostly because two of those years Lute spent trapped in the Demon Realm. They were once mutual allies, under the umbrella of the Leviathans. With Sawba gone and Cam chasing whatever goals he had been, that left Lute as the lone member of the original trio. Still, Lute had trusted Sawba's judgement then. He trusted it still, even more once he got a whiff of Cam's aura. "Cam. It's been a long while. You seem strong. Come and sit."Lute shifted his dark at Cam's entourage, a scowl crossing his face. "But, that rabble and trash can find their own place to sit. They are not worthy enough to sit beside us."

That was exactly the kind of rhetoric he expected of the Leviathans. He glanced towards the arena, "Stand down then," Cam signaled to his squad. They knew the plan, Cam did want to talk but chances were a fight definitely would break out. Walking past the crowd Cam made a dismissive motion towards the crowd, "Go back to your drinks and shows," sitting down near Lute, "Emperor Carambolis," He corrected, "Though Cam still works. It's been a long time Lute, here I thought all of the Leviathans had died off. Last I saw Sawba he had launched himself into a sun and you were nowhere to be seen," he remarked, "Now I have an empire. Only a matter of time until I found you I figured." Some people gawked and others eyed the pair as they spoke, though as a blow was landed in the ring, there was a crunch as the Brench combatant tore off one of the Meatian's arms, leaving him only with three to fight with now. A spatter of blood and a cheer from the crowd at such a gory display. Cam never much cared for blood sport, but Lute was much more of a killer than Cam was, or at least that was the impression Cam had of the Namekian. He, like Cam appeared to be much more of a technique killer, though their methods did vary. "Are there any others left?" he asked towards Lute. He considered the Leviathans to be quite simply a loose end to tie up. If Lute was the only Leviathan left perhaps Cam would try to sway him to fight for his side, were it possible. If not, well then he would have to make certain that the Leviathans knew to leave Cam and the Crusher Corp. alone. "I trust you've kept up in your ambitions?" To be truthful Cam didn't fully understand what he had originally been told. Lute wanted to... Kill the gods? Such a thing didn't seem possible, and furthermore why would Cam kill the creators? Existence needed to continue, if you killed a god, you likely damned all of existence in the process. The notion that someone would want to end everyone and everything was also an eerie scenario and not one Cam wanted to let continue if Lute's plan had the possibility of killing everything off.

Another swig. Lute feigned interest in the fight, which was taking a more gruesome turn. The last few matches had been that way too. Very one sided. There was nothing more disappointing than a one side. Well, unless you were in one. It had been a long time since Lute had faced that kind of struggle though. He wondered as his ambitions grew, how soon it would be before he would face defeat. One didn't really learn or grow until they suffered. It was just nature. Those creatures wise enough to back down and adapt were the ones that got strong enough to dominate later on. Cam fit that bill. Lute had been trapped in the Demon Realm for two years. He didn't know much of what Cam had accomplished. But, his words said just one thing. Cam didn't consider himself a Leviathan anymore. What was a Leviathan anyway? That thought plagued Lute as he took a final swig, setting the cup back down on the table. The short answer was, they were a group created by Sawba, who all had agreed to help each other chase their dreams. It wasn't an army, it wasn't an allegiance. It was a mutual respect, a brotherhood. All three of them, the original members, had been outcasts and scum. But, they dreamed big. "I plan on bringing more like us into the fold," Lute said. "Sawba (@li ) is gone. I don't know if he's ever coming back. So I'm the leader now."The big Namekian stood, all seven feet of him. The ceiling in the building was so low he almost hit his head on a support beam. "You're an Emperor now. It seems you've gathered a group of Leviathans of your own. They're weak, but I imagine if your power is any indication--they will grow with guidance. Someday they'll deserve to sit at this table with us real Leviathans."You didn't really ever stop being a Leviathan. Only if you gave up on your own goals and stopped helping the others with theirs. If those goals ever opposed each other's, then you would fight to see whose goal was more worthy. There was something real, something honest in the Namekian's expression. Normally, his face was twisted with malice and regret. In that moment, Lute showed nothing but reverence for a man he had once called an ally. "Let's go for a walk, shall we. Talk where ears aren't so plentiful. I want you to tell me of your ambitions." Both of his dark eyes locked on Cam's own. "I swore to help you achieve your goals. I do not go back on my word. We'll see if you will go back on yours."Those words said, Lute tossed a few credits on the table and walked out. The Brenchian sun was harsh, but nothing compared to the overwhelming radiance found on New Namek at the height of day--where there was at three suns beating down on you. He waited for Cam for a moment and started to walk, scaling up a rather large dune that was not far away from the makeshift tavern.

The fight would turn in an instant when the Meatian regenerated his torn off limb, it had a small mutation that had proven beneficial--a long sharp, serrated appendage replaced what had been a three-fingered palm that was on the previously torn off arm. Lancing out with this regenerated limb the Meatian gouged one of the eyes of the Brench fighter. Blood and eye viscera coating his knife hand he drew back and stabbed forward again, this time the Brench fighter caught the smaller arm, able to hold the Meatian back, the two were locked in a wrestling match now, pushing, both growled and gritted their teeth at one another. He waved for his crew to stay behind, following Lute out into the sands. His desert garb was much more suited to crossing the lands than the Namekians, no doubt. His scouter tracking his eye movements, Cam opened a function rarely used--a text function. Using the tracker he was able to pull up a keyboard that let Cam type out a message to his soldiers, 'Lock and load, keep your power levels low and follow us, stay hidden until you get my signal.' the words displaying on the scouter network. After a few minutes his squad would file out of the tavern after them, they had his location as Cam's scouter could be traced from the flagship in orbit over the planet. "My goals are to push the Saiyan Dominion back and bring them to heel with the rest of the galaxy. Things need... Balance." Cam stated simply, pure and simple, "The Dominion is killing themselves fighting the Galactic Empire and the Galactic Empire is killing contrary thought. I may be an emperor, but Freedom, above all else, is what I value. I must keep the galaxy free," he sighed, offering a smile, "And so life makes me a contrarian. I seek to achieve leverage against every government and faction that exists in the galaxy so that the Crusher Corp can maintain some level of control on things and keep a peace. For as long as I can," he paused, "This elevates myself and the galaxy at large. When the fighting pauses for a few minutes we can focus on healing. Helping those starving fringe worlds and building an army that can heal and vanguard the galaxy." he shrugged once, "Polaris is much the same I suppose in that regard, he wishes to provide, however those provisions come at the cost of freedoms. I do not seek to wrestle anyone under my thumb, only have those who would serve willingly. From there... Well, I have a few ideas. Something has to give though or this war will go on forever." He still hadn't picked a side. He had forged an Alliance with the Saiyan Dominion, for the moment, and held a tumultuous one with Emperor Polaris. Really, if Cam could, he would simply pull back and let the Saiyan Dominion and the Galactic Empire duke it out. When the dust settled, both would need aid as well as protection, it was then Cam could re-enter the galaxy with resources and troops stockpiled, a force of healing that would allow him to seal his dynasty within the galaxy. He didn't need to be governor of a planet when the entire planet was reliant on his troops and food, they would pay for both and if he didn't care for their policies or actions, trade could be taxed heavier, or in extreme cases, cut off, while withdrawing troops. It would give him the power he needed to apply the kind of pressure needed to end wars and keep them ended. Nearly every core world had been privy to some sort of disastrous battle, and with the current war things were only getting worse. "When the dust settles, I'm going to take over and end all these wars. The galaxy will have unity, and not a false unity forged in benign and mundane bonds such as race or ethnicity. I am a realist, I know not all will join, I know some will resist, some will die, but once control is assumed, it can be exerted to create balance." Cam figured that was enough to start with, "And what of you Lute? What ambitions do you hold? You never seemed a savage to me, what does a Namekian warrior want from existence?" The Kabochan asked. He was a Leviathan, if that meant anything, it meant violence, It meant might making right, and while Cam did use his might to achieve power, he didn't believe that was the factor that should decide the fate of reality, the Leviathans had always disagreed, and that's why even now Cam's squad were creeping over the dunes, taking aim at Lute though they kept hidden, power levels repressed and tan camo allowing them to blend in with the terrain, never mind that each of them was an elite Frieza force troop in Cam's squad before defecting with him.

Lute listened to Cam's words. Unlike many, he couldn't find himself loathing or even against the Saiyan Dominion. Well, he supposed his declared fealty towards Polaris changed that. Most people hated the strongest army in the galaxy, as they were a direct threat. It made logical sense. However, the Saiyans claimed what was theirs by the right of strength. Lute didn't fear any Saiyan, but he could respect that they as a group followed the natural order of things. They were creatures driven by the same instincts and philosophies he was. If anything, he saw the galaxy growing stronger with their presence as a direct response and an affirmation of his views. Cam revealed that he also controlled the nascent Crusher Corp, or at least some portion of it. There had been many organizations throughout history that claimed the same name, wore the same banner. They were most often mercenaries to hire, among the best money could buy. Lute couldn't see an issue with Cam's business plan or ambitions. In fact, he too had ambitions towards rule. The only place he differed from Cam in perception was that he could care less about peace or balance. They were carrots on a stick, goals that never reached fruition. He preferred a narrow focus, a tangible result. "As a Leviathan, I will help you towards your goals in what way I can. Although, I fear you may be aiming for something unobtainable.""And what of you Lute? What ambitions do you hold? You never seemed a savage to me, what does a Namekian warrior want from existence? Lute held is tongue for a moment. In the past he would have blurted out his ambitions like some crazed preacher. But, since his visit to the Demon Realm he shifted in his approach, to be a little more reasonable. Rather than shove his ideals down people's throats, he needed to concise and convince them. Not always easy, but important. "I wish to see this universe and all existence reverted back to its natural way. The way things were before the gods inserted themselves into the order of things. I wish this to be a place where life matters, where there's no chasing some complacent bliss in the afterlife. I want mortals to value their strength, the instincts that drive them to survive and struggle. I want them to shirk this notion of peace and harmony, and fight. Look at the animals, look how they battle and struggle. They have not forgotten the old ways, we have."To reclaim such ways, the gods must die."Lute's dark eyes followed the curve of the horizon, past all the dunes and the drifting sands. "I will rally a strike force of mortals with great power, those who value the natural order the same as I do. With them at my side I will strike at the heart of the heavens and cast down the false deities. I will restore reality to its primal and true form, no matter the cost."

"To reclaim such ways, the gods must die." The words cut the air, leaving Cam suspicious as ever. Lute was speaking in ephemeral terms. Gods, the afterlife, an appreciation of life. How could one destroy that? In order to do so one would have to unweave the laws of nature and the fabrics of reality themselves. Cam suspected such a thing simply wasn't possible, though if anyone would have the ambition to kill the gods, it would be a Leviathan. Cam found himself sighing, a hand coming up to pinch the bridge of his nose. "You uh... Look Lute, don't get yourself killed for some abstract concept of victory. That's how the last leader of the Leviathans went out, right?" He paused, "Oh wait you weren't there. Well regardless, I was. I've seen big fish get swallowed hole and small ones grow bigger. What you're proposing to me sounds like something that isn't entirely possible," Cam murmured. "So I'll help you. Either I'll do something impossible, or it can't be done and I've re-affirmed an Alliance with a powerful ally," Cam surged with energy, his aura springing to life and red and gold energy crackled around him, "Nothing is given in the Leviathans if memory serves correct. Lets prove we're worthy of each others time shall we?" Cam asked. He reached up to his cloak, adjusting the strap so that it tucked under his left arm. His power level sat somewhere near One hundred and twenty thousand, it rivaled the level of the famed Captain Ginyu once upon a time. Cam grinned big, "I won't go easy on you Lute," He muttered then, "Open fire," springing from the Sands around them, Cam's squad of elite soldiers opened fire, blasts of ki sent whirling towards Lute in a surprise attack, two coming from the front and one form behind. Cam's power busted free, and those altered demonic runes crept over his skin. Black and gold marks creeping over his skin in an indistinguishable demonic language, he had subdued the pact of his species, an entirely new level of power at his species fingertips, though they simply didn't know it yet. Sweeping an arm as his transformation took place, his aura going from red and gold to a silvery white, tribal looking black and gold markings crept over his features as his eyes whited out, the energy in his body shining out through his pupils. His energy had gone from below half of Lute's to surpassing his base form, though as far as Cam knew, Namekians didn't have transformations. With a sweep of his palm a pair of white hot orbs materialized into existence, Cam surging forward he unleashed a salvo of attacks, the orbs twisting and turning to collide with Lute's body of they hit their mark while Cam hit impossibly hard with energy augmenting his body and mind, his fists able to crush near anything so thoroughly that any normal being would be turned to a gory paste, though Lute was far from normal. Ki bolts shrieked in. A moment of quiet, a conversation had turned into a war. That was the way of the Leviathans. Blood and thunder. Battle without remorse. If Cam and Lute were going to help each other, they had to fight first. They had to prove their worth. Cam had far more to prove to Lute than the other way around. Still, Lute wouldn't sit idle, he would show Cam that he had grown as well. Even more so. Lute stood in the conflagration, flames and smoke enveloping him. The explosions turned the sand to glass and filled the air with choking dust and acrid smoke. The stifling hot desert wind carried the cloud away, revealing Lute's resolved posture. There were cuts scrapes and burns coating him, but he defiant and unmoved. Lute perked one of his hairless brows as Cam unleashed the full bearing of his power level. The Demon Clansmen recognized many of the runes that coated Cam's flesh. The dark power he summoned was telling of the might that demonic energy possessed. It reaffirmed something that Lute had thought all along. He needed to find and capture the city of Hollow. There he would funnel all the demonic energy it possessed into himself. He too would ascend in such a way. Cam, without even knowing it, was a marvelous bastard. Two white orbs formed above his hands and he brandished them against the Namekian with deadly accuracy They hit with resounding force, the first one doubling Lute over and the second sideswiping him without warning. Lute went skipping across the sand dunes like a stone across the pond. That was until he spotted a spire of stone sticking up from a a nearby dune. His arm unfurled like a ribbon, stretching out across the expanse to grab hold. The grip stopped him dead and he drew himself to it, arm snapping back to normal as he landed atop it like a perched bird. Purple blood tricked from his mouth. He licked it off and showed a fanged grin to Cam. Without warning Lute stood stall on the spire and loosed his aura. It was a weapon of its own, coating him in an energy that could only be described as amethyst smoke. It escaped his pores in tendrils and wisps. Malice was the first thing someone would feel upon sensing it, a deep hatred that could hardly matched by the strongest of demon lords. The corruption spread into one's mind, like shards of sharp glass, forming a veritable zone of agony around him. With a grunt of exertion, Lute sent his aura rippling outward in a concussive burst. It would possibly bowl over the minions as well as lash out at the Emperor himself. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Cam staggered in his newfound form of power, he had gotten quite a drop on Lute, he grinned, able to see just how wounded the Leviathan had been. "If I can get the drop on you still, you need to do a lot more work to be able to kill the gods!" Cam taunted, his attack had gotten Lute exactly where he wanted him. Momentum was everything, and he had severely wounded his foe. Lute's lash-back was just that, a haphazard attempt to ruin the Emperor's momentum and that, Cam had decided, he simply couldn't allow. Wounded, he decided it was time to show Lute how Cam retaliated. This was an attack rarely used by the Kabochan, but he lifted off the ground, both hands raising he crackled with red and gold energy, "LETS SEE YOU TRY AND STOP THIS ONE THEN!" One arm pulling back as a massive spike in power could be felt, that that white aura and opal energy augmented everything, and thus when Cam loosed the first beam, it came out in three colors, a massive white beam of energy that had two smaller beams of red and gold circling around it in a drill of massive power, one that Cam was able to bend and twist towards his low, though one wasn't enough. His second hand thrust forward and a second beam spat forth, both criss-crossing, trying to corner the Namekian and ram into him, setting off a massive explosion, one that had he handled such level of power improperly, the planet would have been gone. They were in the middle of the desert, and as such the only damage that would tell the tale of a fight here was how barren the land would be. A scrubland completely wiped clean of life in an instant, well, any life that wasn't Lute, most likely. Though Cam knew that wasn't enough, not for a Leviathan. Cam hovered over the battlefield, quick enough in this form that his perception seemed to slow down, his foe only moving mere inches, it was as though for a moment he was gifted with precognition and he knew without a doubt he needed more, rising above the first explosion before he thrust both hands forward, a third, final burst of red, white and gold would be spat forth, trying to grind the Namekian into the now mostly glass desert floor, when it was all said and done Cam assessed his own wounds and the amount of energy he had expended, his scouter spitting numbers out at him almost too fast, he swallowed a senzu bean whole, hand moving up to his scouter to scan for Lute. This couldn't be it, not by a long shot. Cam's ferocity was surprising. Lute couldn't help the excitement he was feeling. In fact, his entire being was trembling at the thought of testing himself against such a relentless and powerful foe. Facing down the Helix Beam was a marvel to behold. Lute having trained all his life knew just how potent such an attack could be. Also, the mastery and sheer precision of ki control it took was beyond reason. Cam had graduated to master status, that was for sure. Lute smirked and cocked his arm back. Swirling motes of purple ki began to swim from his horrendous aura into his fist. Just as the Helix Beam reached him he roared and fired his own giant moving wall of energy. The two beams collided with a spectacular explosive force. Lute was thrust back, the desert below him swirling and churning in his vision. He skidded to a stop, digging both feet into the sand up to his knees. Glass sparkled all around them. The explosion had turned the surrounding dunes into a glinting forest of it, quite the marvelous sight. There was no time to revel in it. Lute charged back at Cam full bore. The second beam came and the Namekian pushed headlong into it. The triple beams split open like a log down the center as he put all the gusto and force he could into his headlong approach. Just when he thought he had a moment of respite to catch up, Cam proved otherwise. A third wave? How is this even possible?Lute couldn't fathom the speed at which Cam was able to pour forth this amount of raw energy. All he could do is break through this one too. The collision nearly melted through his aura, which was now faltering from all the destructive force. Lute was unharmed, but not shaken. His malice had been almost sucked out of him from the sheet panic of survival. Cam had gotten the drop on the Namekian. It proved to be useful, but Lute wasn't done yet. He still had quite a few more tricks up his sleeve. With a roar, he flickered from sight. A blade of ghostly blue flame emerged from his finger tips as he lashed at Cam from above, trying to slash him across the back of the head. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

This battle was starting to heat up! Lute stabbed a beam of dark energy through his silvery white blast of ki, it struck Cam though he had managed to put up a guard of ki once he realized his beam had been overpowered. soot and blackened scorching marred his armor as the finish was cracked and shattered. He had transformed the landscape in his attacks and Lute had likewise decided to make alterations as his energy shattered much of the glass, heating it up and melting it again before Lute closed in, that blade of ki materializing. So many people were summoning their magic weapons, it was beginning to get annoying. First the Demoness on his home world and now this. Cam swiveled, deploying another shield of energy that softened the blow of Lute's attack, a slice still biting through his armor leaving a grisly looking flesh wound along the side of Cam's back as he turned. Lute's malicious energy seemed to interfere with Cam's raw spiritual energy, tainting the well so to speak, it would normalize but it would also take time to do so. Growling Cam decided to work with the tools that were previously still in existence, the salvo of silver ki orbs he had summoned, they were still materialized. Gripping them with his mind he sent them spiraling towards Lute, trying to bombard the Namekian with those solid state orbs like two metal fists. As they surged forward to attack Lute, the Emperor gestured towards one of his troops, "Spear!" Hureo the litt on Cam's team deployed a technology laced energy fueled spear. Lobbing it towards Cam who caught the weapon in both hands. Whatever metal or technology that had been built into the weapon was reactive to his psychic ki energy, it glowing brightly, able to deliver slices and blows of much more seismic proportions. Surging forward Cam dropped like a white hot bullet out of the sky, swinging his augmented spear once in a horizontal slice from his left to right, then a thrust forward, while Cam sent both orbs at Lute from behind, trying to trip up the Namekian and impale him through the stomach with his spear, teeth gritted and eyes still whited out, those tribal markings seeming to twist and morph over Cam's skin made him a fearsome looking foe indeed. There was a certain cadence and flow to every fight. Lute had witnessed Cam's fighting tactics and something clicked in his mind. It wasn't foresight, more so just experience. Seven feet tall, the green skinned warrior wasn't the fastest fighter in the universe. But, his extensive training had made him efficient with movement. The silver orbs and the gruesome spear never touched his flesh. He bobbed and weaved, sparing needless motion as he bounded and leaped across the decimated landscape. Sand and loose beads of glass flitted and swirled around him. Cam had momentum, power, and speed. But, in this moment Lute 's grace trumped. The momentum shifted and he initiated in force. It was time to put Cam on the back foot. Lute had been struggling to catch up this entire time, and this was his chance. The Namekian unleashed his arm, which flung out like a whip, unraveling across the scorched desert. He targeted Cam's throat, using his sharp nails to dig in and constrict. The arm shrank back to normal size as he ran headlong after it, lowering his shoulder like a football player would before a tackle. Lute led this assault with his forehead, potentially colliding with Cam's own like a meteor hitting a planet in orbit. Shifting his stance, he launched immediately into a spinning back kick aimed at Cam's midsection to send him flying. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Cam felt sharp claws rake over his throat, his head craning backwards away from such an attack, but it left several long slices along the front of his throat over his Adam's apple, Cam growled, the instinctual action causing him some measure of pain, he was able to read the large Namekian's body language as he closed in for a charge, Cam tucked his head low, hands wrapping around the Namekian's waist before a kick would hammer Cam into the ground, solids hits to be certain though it wouldn't slow the Kabochan down, proving to be resilient as ever Cam launched himself off the ground about ten feet into the air, his hands knitting together to form a sledgehammer fist, around his palms an orb of silver ki formed, augmenting the strike with psychic energy, Cam hammered one blow down onto Lute, an attempt to slow him down, though he needed to push his own attacks. Lute was trying to go on the offense and kill Cam's momentum, he likely wanted another large outpouring of energy--it would burn Cam out, and he didn't want to unleash another hellish assault until he knew it would grant him victory. Landing from that first attack Cam would attempt then, to send a leg forward, either kicking Lute backwards from a stand position if he defended or sending him skidding across the sands if the first one had been successful, then from a distance Cam would raise his right hand and clench it into a tight, crushing fist, Lute would feel immense pressure on his wrist, Cam trying to break, if he were lucky perhaps he would simply rip it off. He had accidentally dismembered foes before, though Namekians could recover from such attacks, not that Cam knew that. Through the onslaught Cam took a sharp inhale, aura flaring as suddenly it seemed his body was turning that silver and white that his ki had since changed with his transformation. A lavender aura flared as Cam's body grew a skin of volatile ki over it, he intended to brawl, and make every shot his enemy succeeded with just as painful as when he didn't succeed. Lute managed to bring his forearms up just in time to block Cam's hammer-blow. The double-fisted strike collided, shimmering a bright silver with raw psychic energy. Even though he warded most of the intital blow, the psychic force drove him into the sandy dunes, burying Lute up to the chest. The subsequent kick dislodged him and he went speeding across the sands. Lute gritted his teeth as he fought the momentum, flipping his body around and tucking his knees. The was right before he struck a large rock mesa like a wrecking ball, obliterating half of it in an instant. Bits of rock rained down all over the battlefield as Lute readjusted and landed atop the mesa adjacent to the now collapsing one. He felt a tug on his arm and before he could fight it, his limb jerked hard and snapped out, dislocating and shattering at the humerus bone. If Lute hadn't pulled hard against it at the last second, the entire thing would have been ripped from his body. He howled in pain, leaping from the mesa with such force that the top of it cracked and splintered. In mid air his aura shifted from its usual purple smoke appearance into a sickly green ichor, as if Lute were trapped in squirming bubble of acid. Arriving at his foe, the enraged Namekian lashed out with a neck chop. He followed through by whipping his heel towards the top of Cam's head in a full force roudhouse kick. Phasing, Lute appeared high above and thrust both hands out with an enormous blast of ki. As it blazed through the air at Cam the same green energy rippled throughout it. BATTLE TRACKERSUMMARY

Teeth gritting, Cam snarled as he crouched, his energy coming to bare once more as Cam appeared to have enough concentration to power up despite being attacked, "I think you've seen my old attack Lute, but let me show you the more refined version!" In both his hands an orb of hyper-condensed ki would form, he didn't look upwards when Lute appeared overhead, he would sink into the sand below him. His psychic powers allowing him to manipulate the sand itself, it parting as easily as water would for him. He sank nearly twenty feet below and off to his right, the ki explosion causing quite a crater and kicking up sand and debris, this was certainly a dusty, confusing fight, or would be if he had more than one foe. Swimming through the sand, controlling it to move around his body and let him pass, Cam would surge up through the sand once more, Crusher orbs fully charged, sand fell off him in droplets and small streams, it water-falling and trickling off his hair, his form and out of the cracks of his armor. He unleashed a pair of hyper-solid crimson ki orbs at an impossibly high speed, the orbs if they hit their mark would strike with enough force to rip a lesser man in half, though Lute was far from lesser. After making impact they would detonate, a missed orb would be sent careening into the desert, when it finally hit the desert floor or Lute, a huge dome of energy would erupt all around his target, obliterating anything within a nearly fifty foot sphere of space, sand crumbling to nothing or turned to glass mid-air, glass dust causing the air to sparkle and refract light inside the dust, things only getting murkier and more blinding as the fight went on, though Cam's scouter never seemed to forget where Lute was, he had yet to attempt to mask his powers. The storm continued and Lute remained like a rock in the center of it, his full intention to weather through until it broke. Cam emerged from the sand like some sort of shark out of water, twin crimson ki orbs primed and ready to fire. The first one was loosed and Lute caught it in one hand, his arm trembling against the immense amount of pressure it exerted by existing alone. As much as he wished he could simply overpower it and dissipate it, that wasn't going to happen. At this moment, Cam outclassed him. So, he did the only thing he could think to do, throw it into the air. The orb careened hard in an arc, exploding in a massive dome of annihilation behind them. Glassy pebbles and red-hot moved in a tsunami over them, crashing and crushing the rocky formations their fight had drifted them into. The second orb parted the wave, but Lute had used the veil to escape. It blew up once it hit the expanding energy dome of the first, doubling the explosion in size and velocity. No doubt the Brenchian government would realize that something was going on at this point. Seismic readings would be off the charts and power level scanners blaring. Lute wondered how reluctant they would be to intervene in such a titanic struggle. It was doubtful many of them had ever seen powers this high clashing in a live environment. The Namekian appeared below Cam, coated head to foot in clumps of glass that stuck to his skin. His aura still roiled around him, green and putrid. He reached out to grab a foot, yanking hard to fling Cam into the conflagration his Crusher Orbs left behind. Lute would lend chase, fist cocked as he tried to cuff the overzealous Emperor across the chin with a follow up blow. SUMMARY

Cam was gripped and thrown by Lute, however he would recover mid-air, any subsequent strikes thwarted by the Kabochan, "Not bad Lute!" Ca, only a few inches from the blast that had gone off, it singing the ends of his bangs, he shot a look in Lute's direction, his whited out eyes filling with a myriad of color, "Not good enough though," the voice came from behind the Namekian as another manifestation of Cam's being had come into view, an astral projection of energy that looked and functioned for all intents and purposes, as Cam. In the time it would take Lute to turn to face the projection it would level a palm at the Namekian and fire a blast meant to knock the Namekian into the dirt while the real Cam charged up two other shots, sending them hurtling towards Lute, the orbs twisting and turning as he tried to guide them in an unpredictable pattern; the hyper-dense ki orbs harder to control than the small, silver orbs he had been using previously, however he could make them turn and curve and even reverse in trajectory, though not as fast or precise, though he didn't need the minute level of precision in this instance. "You've surpassed our previous leader, that much is obvious though I have as well Lute! You're determined to do the impossible, well start by dodging all of these!" Cam would taunt the Namekian, cocky as ever it seemed. Loosing his attack one could hear Cam laughing and wearing that know-it-all smirk of his, it had been some time since a fight had turned out exactly as he had planned it, and so far this fight had proven to tickle him immensely, showing off every tactic he had in his repertoire, of course it would take a being as strong as Lute to draw out such abilities. Crusher Orb--the name was appropriate to the purpose. Lute fell hard into the Astral Projection feint. It didn't help that he was worn and lagging. He was only halfway turned around when the blast hit him dead in the chest. He fell downward, smoke streaming off of him. Dazed and a bit unsettled, he didn't realize that Cam's onslaught continued on. Boom.Boom.Crunch.Lute hit the sand and rolled down a large dune, body limp. For a moment he lost consciousness. Broken ribs and a crushed collarbone would do that to any person, even a warrior as tough and nasty as the Demon Clansmen. He lay there, blood pooling and staining the sands. Ragged breaths rose and fell, an indication at least that he had lived through the final blow. The low rumble of raining rocks and the thrum of collapsing underground caverns were the only noises to be had. Silence otherwise, the battle over. And then a stir. Lute shot up, coughing and hacking. He clawed his way to his knees, body trembling. Pride filled him, he thought about another round. But, he realized in that moment there wouldn't be one. And with that came blinding rage and frustration. He punched the sand dune weakly and roared, before collapsing on his side and staring at the blazing sun, eyes red with pain and face covered in purple blood. "Kill me," he whispered. "If I'm truly unworthy."SUMMARY

The battle had been well fought but it was over now. His power released, he sank from the air down to the ground, moving over toward Lute, he didn't hear what Lute had whispered, though he knew the look of dejection that Lute wore, "I got the drop on you Lute, don't beat yourself up over it," the Emperor offered his knowing smile, "I know your pain well. Sawba beat me like a drum for a long time. I promise I won't do the same to you, I wager if we do this again the outcome might not be the same," he whistled to his soldiers, emerging from sand dunes and converging on their location. "You underestimated my tactics and the strength of my allies as well. They got the drop on you," he gestured for a medipack. Producing an extract that had properties much like that of the senzu bean, allowing a person to recover from grievous injury and restore energy. Cam would step forward, offering an injection pen to Lute, "Press this into your thigh and push the button on the top. Count five seconds, then remove and cap it," Cam instructed as he removed flipped the cap open on the pen, handing it towards the Namekian. If he did as instructed he would find that, while still sore, any serious trauma such as fractures or breaks would fix themselves, swelling and bruising going down. "Sawba underestimated the might of a well trained army, that's why he was thwarted by a battle with some only somewhat structured space pirates. He had that massive war cruiser with no proper soldiering or staff." He gestured to the men around him, "Scald and his men are the best of me regular Crusher Corp. divisions. I have elite soldiers as well who perform even better. You need yourself an army or two Lute." Cam smirked down at the Namekian, "We'll be in touch, aye? Consider, what's the point of might and power if you can't let others be a part of it? To revel and seek a calling in their service to our forces, and make some money doing it as well. I wager if I didn't have their support, this fight might have gone differently." Cam finished his statement succinctly, "The Gods you seek to battle will recruit armies and champions of their own, you'll need your own to counter their, and as it happens, the Crusher Corp is expanding. I'm far from your enemy Lute."

Lute had changed. In the past his pride would have prevented him from taking the meds. But, he snatched it from Cam with shaky fingers, following the instructions. The soothing elixir inside entered his blood stream and began the accelerated metabolizing inside of his body. Lute tossed the emptied pen into the sand and groaned in pain. The discomfort of rapid healing wasn't that unfamiliar. Namekians had some natural regenerative abilities after all, but it usually only worked for the limbs. Not for broken rips and punctured lungs. Grimacing he managed to get to his feet just before Cam took off. Although, for a moment intense itching inside of his flesh as things knitted back together made him double over. Cam's suggestions weren't that off either. Lute had planned to gather an army, to become a ruler of in his own regard. All the power he had was useless if he wielded it alone. To be stronger he needed resources and people to bolster said strength. Allies and friends--the loner assassin life was now in his past and he really didn't want to look back. Their little duel had left behind a blackened and blasted battlefield, the glass glittering still the harsh rays of the sun. Lute clapped Cam on the shoulder, the way a friend or an old comrade would and started up the dune beside them. His feet sunk in the sand and the path wasn't easy, but he needed to walk this one out.
